This is truly a fine establishment! I can only praise.
Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is simply spectacular, only surpassed by the flawless service.
The servers were very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. Most restaurants would try to upsell and get you to order dessert but we actually appreciated that the server recommended dessert to us because it was truly that good!
The portions were also really good. You will not leave empty.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the service could be better and the food was average 7/10. I was expecting more for a restaurant of this status. If you love food with a-lot flavours, this place has light seasoning, so something to keep in mind. Good dishes were shrimp tempura with mayo, roasted chicken and Brussels.

This is such a lovely restaurant!! Terrific ambiance and service, fabulous food. Recommend the Cacio E Pepe, one of the more affordable dishes on the menu and really spectacular. Yes, we also got the filet mignon, and it was just as good as everyone says, perfect preparation (be aware that the red wine sauce has a little sweetness to it). A real highlight was the salted caramel ice cream cake, seventeen stars! Would definitely visit again next time we come to Montreal!

We booked Beatrice for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Daniela was fantastic throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with. Claudio and team made sure everything was perfect and delivered an amazing service from early evening well into the morning; no request was too big or small. There was always someone checking on our guests while food came out like clockwork. Our bartender David was also incredible, personable and made amazing drinks and shots throughout the night while making time to chat and even take a few photos. Finally, the food was simply amazing and we received compliments with every course, and in messages in days after, including about the sommelier’s wine selection. Huge thanks to the team at Beatrice for making our big day an elegant, fun and delicious success.

Third time visiting this place and it continues to impress. A wide variety of dishes were ordered and the tacos and enchiladas still remain favorites. This time the tostadas were added to the mix and they turned out to be quite good as well. The nachos were fresh and flavorful. For anyone who enjoys spicy food, the green chutney on the side is a must try. It adds just the right amount of heat and flavor to the meal. Always a satisfying experience overall.

On the evening of May 15th, our family of six embarked on a culinary escapade to 3 Amigos Montreal, and what transpired was nothing short of a delightfully memorable experience, seasoned with laughter, charm, and a generous sprinkle of guacamole.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a host who can only be described as the embodiment of charisma—an older gentleman with a twinkle in his eye, a sharp wit in his back pocket, and the welcoming warmth of an old friend. His impeccable hospitality set the tone for the evening, transforming our dinner into a lively and laughter-filled gathering.
The food? Sublime. Each dish arrived bursting with vibrant flavors, artfully plated and generously portioned. From sizzling fajitas to perfectly spiced enchiladas, every bite felt like a love letter to Mexican cuisine. The children found joy in the colorful presentations, while the adults savored the depth of the seasonings and the evident care behind each dish.
The atmosphere buzzed with the kind of festive energy that makes time slip by unnoticed, yet each moment was savored. It was more than a meal—it was a joyful celebration of togetherness, wrapped in tortillas and dipped in salsa.
In a city brimming with culinary choices, 3 Amigos stands out not merely for its food, but for its heart. We left with full bellies, light spirits, and a unanimous promise to return.

Oh my god!!
One of the best(if not the top) restaurants I’ve been in.. about to leave Montreal in couple hours, and stopped here for quick lunch, and let me tell you.. this place exceeded my expectations.
food was unbelievably delicious, ordered avocado tacos and small GOGO sangria, they also brought in salsa and nachos, and tacos came with fries. Everything was 10/10 and the servers are very positive and nice. Not to mention the atmosphere that will give you some taste for their culture..
the experience elevated my mood and I’m so fortunate that I stopped by.. I might even reconsider leaving Hahahah😆♥️
Amigos, you’re great!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were very friendly and made us feel right at home.
Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a complimentary cake and a “3 Amigos” hat — such a thoughtful gesture that made my day even more special.
I highly recommend this place for both its excellent food and outstanding service!

Ate here twice during a recent trip to Montreal, both times on the terrace. Arrived around 6pm both times and already getting busy - a bit of a wait both times to get seated. Service was good in general (thank you Graeme & co) but a bit slow as they get very busy.
Tacos on the first night were good. The portion was huge & wasn't expecting them to be served with fries! Corn on the second night was nice (a bit chewy) but veggie quesidillas were burnt... Server did acknowledge this but the response from the kitchen was "We're busy".

Great place to see a hockey match. I recommend to arrive early to catch a table. The potato soup is a must and of course the chicken wings. If you are like spicy, the spicy sauce it’s good, not so spicy but it helps.
They say that at 10 pm a group plays and it gets even better so I’ll have to come back.

We went to McKibbins to see a comedy show and the whole experience was great!
The people are welcoming and friendly. The MC was hilarious.
We didn't try all the appetizing food that is on the menu. We did try the nachos and they were delicious. The only disappointment was there was no Guiness beer available. Bummer! However I tried the Irish red they had and it was good.
We will definitely go back..

Terrible. We went into an Irish Bar and had to ask for a drink. Table service was extremely slow with ample staff so we went to the bar to ask for a drink which we were denied and told to ask our server. Lol what a joke. Got a shotty poured Guinness and decided it leave. Considering how well w e have been treated on our trip to Montreal I was extremely disappointed for a highly rated Irish pub . Nice terrace on the back side and the doorman was very friendly Guess they don't need our business. Sad. ☘️

This sports bar is everything a true fan needs. They offer a comprehensive range of pay channels—at least all the ones I could think of—which ensures you won’t miss a game. The service is both friendly and efficient, and the beer selection is excellent. I especially enjoyed their onion soup—a real standout dish. With its vibrant atmosphere, this is the place in Montreal to catch a game, or even two!

An Irish pub in a university town near McGill University. The atmosphere realy brings you to Irish… at the least the Irish I imagine.
The poutine is too salty, but great fires, so I will just order fries next time. They have limited selection of local beers, otherwise lots of differentdeinks to offer. I would like to see more local craft beers in the future!
It's also a bit pricey. One poutine plus one beer coated me $35 in total. This will make me think twice going again.

Thali is one of my favorite Indian places for a quick meal. The food is always ready, all you have to do is choose what you want. This is a family owned restaurant, the flavours are authentic and feel like it was home made. The only issue is the consistency, the food can taste slightly different from time to time depends on who is the chef on that day.
It is very cheap compared to other places in Montreal, for 15$ you can get a big plate with rice, lentil soup, naan, and 3 curries of your choice. My go to are the butter chicken and the palak paneer.

The place itself is not the greatest looking but the food is really good. We did order a thali and we could choose four options from the buffet. All the vegetarian ones were flavorful, good amount of spicyness, basically everything you want. The fresh garlic Naan was delicious as well as the fresh Mango Lassy. I will definitely come back when I am around.

The Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill was a highlight during my trip to Montreal. We got to see Kevin Burt x Big Medicine perform some Bill Withers. All the guests were so in-tune with the music and it was one of those places you could truly listen to the music cause everybody else was too! Great venue with good food too. I'd come again in my next visit!

I only took a salad but it was divine. Great portions. Ambiance is great, although I wish they had a great selection of music on their own because once the band was done performing it was pretty boring. 8/10?

We had such a great experience - right from the time of reservation to saying goodnight to our server. Special thanks to Jill who sat my wife and I at special seats for our anniversary evening date night!
And of course thanks to Taurey Butler and his trio for an amazing night of Jazz!
Merci!

I’ll definitely come back to upstairs Jazz one day. It was such a great experience. I came with a group of 5 and made a reservation a few days ahead with seats at the bar for 9 pm on a Saturday night. I can’t stress enough how happy I was to have made that reservation! It gets packed right before the show starts and it’s hard to get in, nevertheless get a seat with a view of the musicians. So if you’re thinking of coming here on a weekend night book ahead and you’ll be good! Definitely worth the price of the ticket.

Very Affordable, great deal takeout! Always with very decent food. I order their daily specials (menu changes) for Takeout from Fantuan and it’s always between 11 to $13 taxes included per meal… usually the food is either enough for me to eat for more than one meal or enough for 2 people, even! Great place! The waiter is always very helpful and greet you with a big smile! I went there 3 times since I worked late this week! 😆Highly Recommended, honestly. 😊

I recently ordered takeout from Wok Café in Montreal through Uber Eats, and overall, it was a satisfying experience with a few highlights and a couple of minor areas for improvement.
Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite
Here’s a breakdown of what I tried:
Salt and Pepper Shrimp (Fave)
The Salt and Pepper Shrimp is definitely the star of the meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside while staying tender on the inside. The seasoning was spot on: a blend of salty, savory, and a mild heat that was just the right amount of kick. The dish was generously sprinkled with herbs and chili, with crunchy vegetables adding extra flavor and freshness. Even though I got it through delivery, the shrimp stayed crispy, which can sometimes be a challenge with takeout. This dish alone would make me order again.
Vegetable Fried Rice (Very Good)
The Vegetable Fried Rice was another strong point. The rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, with a nice wok char that gave it a great depth of flavor. The vegetables (peas, carrots, and bell peppers) were fresh and retained their crunch, which was appreciated. It wasn’t greasy, which I liked, and it felt light but filling at the same time. It paired perfectly with the shrimp. However, I did add soy sauce and seasoning from home to give it a touch more depth, but it was still very good.
Tofu
The tofu was decent, though it wasn’t as exciting as the other dishes. The texture was soft and smooth, and it absorbed the sauce well, but it lacked a little bit of the crispiness that would have given it an extra dimension. The sauce was mild but flavorful, and it complemented the tofu nicely, but I would have loved a bit more of a punch. Still, it’s a good option for those looking for a vegetarian choice, and the portion size was generous.
Spring Rolls
The spring rolls were crispy and arrived well-packed, without getting soggy, which is always a plus with takeout. The filling was mostly vegetables and had a nice crunch, but the flavors could have been a bit bolder. The dipping sauce was sweet and tangy, but I felt it needed a little more kick or complexity. Overall, they were a solid appetizer, but not the standout of the meal.
Takeout Experience
As with any takeout order, the quality of the food can sometimes be affected by delivery, but Wok Café did a great job of packaging everything carefully. The food was still warm when it arrived, and everything was well-sealed to prevent leaks or spills.
Overall
Wok Café is definitely a great option for Asian comfort food through Uber Eats. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp is the standout here and a must-try. The Vegetable Fried Rice was flavorful and well-balanced, making it a great side dish. The Tofu was good but could use a bit more texture or flavor. The Spring Rolls were solid but not as impressive as the other items.
The meal was satisfying, and I would definitely order from Wok Café again, especially for their shrimp and fried rice. If you’re craving bold flavors and comforting, hearty dishes, this is a reliable spot.

Super tasty Rotis in the heart of downtown! It’s also pretty reasonably priced. I recommend getting the fried plantains. They’re perfectly cooked. Service was super attentive and really polite! Our server was wonderful (I believe her name was Latifa so thank you!)
Also note entrance is kind of confusing. You have to go through the entrance of chez Bong first and then take the door on the right and climb a flight of stairs. But it’s well worth it.

After the very bad experience I had with Caribbean Food Factory I still wanted Jamaican food. I was told by 2 different Jamaican women to try Mango Bay. So I decided to give it a go. When I arrived at the restaurant I was greeted by a gentleman to take my order. Wasn’t sure how it was going to go because when I asked if he could Escovich the Red Snapper he seemed overwhelmed by my presence and stated he couldn’t Escovich the Red Snapper because he needed time. I said ok....After he took my order he went to the kitchen and came back and said since it wasn’t too busy he would be able to Escovich the Red Snapper. He also advised that I call the next time to give him time to prepare the fish. I briefly told him what I went through with Caribbean Food Factory and that I wanted to come in person instead of having the food delivered. The ladies were on point. The fish was Escoviched to perfection. The rice n peas, plantains and yam were also delicious. I will definitely try Mango Bay again before I leave to go home. Also referred co-workers to the restaurant. As a business owner myself I’ve learned when you treat customers with respect and honesty they’ll be a customer forever.

Simply one of the best restaurants in Montreal and perhaps in all of Canada.
The attention and passions put into each dish can be not only tasted, but felt. The operation of the staff is like a moving painting behind the counter- I strongly recommend sitting at the bar to witness it.
There is something simply special within these walls. Always worth the wait and be adventurous with your order!
On this visit my favourites were the smoked eel wraps and the vegetable croquettes.

3 words. Worth the wait.
The food here is absolutely fantastic. You may be greater by a 30-45 minute wait, but wow is it worth it. The Japanese curry is absolutely fantastic, and the beef ribs, amazing.
The service is really quick and friendly.
Perfect for a quick date night.
Recommend 10/10.

Let me tell you it is worth it.
We got there close to 7 and waited around an hour. Their staple menu looks good but they also have a very large collection of special menus posted on the wall that presumably rotates frequently. I got what's likely their most expensive dish, grilled black cod, and the taste blew my mind. The fish was cooked perfectly with a complex flavor of sauces. I would wait an hour to eat this any day.
My partner ordered an assortment of appetizers. He said they were also good, but not as good as what I had. So I guess your experience will depend on what you order.

Just wow!! Everything we had is really good and the service was fantastic! There was a line up when we came Thursday night at 9:00pm, but it was worth it! We were lined up with a local who told us that they keep coming back here. The place is tight but it didn’t take away from our dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.

Kazu is undeniably one of Montreal’s premier Japanese dining experiences. Despite its limited operating hours—open for dinner from Thursday to Sunday—and the inevitable lineups regardless of weather, the experience is well worth the wait.
Upon entering, you’re greeted by a cozy, warm, and traditional ambiance. The staff exemplify Japanese hospitality, being attentive, polite, and eager to address any inquiries. The menu strikes a perfect balance, offering a diverse selection without overwhelming patrons. Notably, the menu is creatively displayed on a collection of papers affixed to the wall, adding to the restaurant’s charm.
Every dish we sampled was impeccably presented and delectable, reinforcing the notion that there are no wrong choices at Kazu.
Considering the exceptional quality, the pricing is entirely reasonable. Kazu’s location is also convenient, situated just a five-minute walk from Guy-Concordia Metro station.
In short, Kazu offers an authentic and memorable Japanese dining experience in Montreal. I wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation.

Review for Sparta Chicken
I recently visited Sparta Chicken, located at Guy street, Montréal, and it was a delightful experience! This casual Greek restaurant specializes in halal, charcoal-grilled chicken and crispy fries, and it absolutely delivers on flavor and value.
The star of the show is their grilled chicken—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a unique Mediterranean spice blend that has a slight tangy kick. I opted for the spicy half-chicken plate, served over a generous bed of well-seasoned fries, and it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a smoky char that elevated every bite, and the fries were crispy and fresh, complementing the meal beautifully. The portion was huge, making it a great bang for your buck, especially for a quick dinner after exploring nearby attractions like the Oratory.
The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a youthful vibe that suits students and families alike. The staff, including a notably friendly server (shoutout to Mohammed!), were attentive and quick, ensuring our order was spot-on despite a busy evening. The only minor hiccup was the washroom, which could use a bit more attention to cleanliness.
For anyone craving authentic Greek-style chicken with a Montreal twist, Sparta Chicken is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for their souvlaki pita and to try their hot sauce, which I’ve heard is a game-changer! Highly recommend for a tasty, affordable meal.
Mohammed and Ayub were really nice hosts.

Better late than never! The "Best New Year New Day" meal sounds like an incredible experience, and it’s clear it left a lasting impression. Allo Mono Coco seems to have truly nailed the brunch game. The pistachio affogato must have been an absolute treat – the perfect balance of creamy and nutty with that espresso kick! We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning between 11-12 pm. I had the Special Allo Mon Coco. Wife had the Eggs Benedict Rockyfeller. We loved our meals. Surprisingly, did not wait too long to get seated. Place was packed. Very nice and reasonably priced breakfast spot.
