3 Star Rating The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the service could be better and the food was average 7/10. I was expecting more for a restaurant of this status. If you love food with a-lot flavours, this place has light seasoning, so something to keep in mind. Good dishes were shrimp tempura with mayo, roasted chicken and Brussels.

5 Star Rating This is truly a fine establishment! I can only praise. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is simply spectacular, only surpassed by the flawless service. The servers were very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. Most restaurants would try to upsell and get you to order dessert but we actually appreciated that the server recommended dessert to us because it was truly that good! The portions were also really good. You will not leave empty.

5 Star Rating We booked Beatrice for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Daniela was fantastic throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with. Claudio and team made sure everything was perfect and delivered an amazing service from early evening well into the morning; no request was too big or small. There was always someone checking on our guests while food came out like clockwork. Our bartender David was also incredible, personable and made amazing drinks and shots throughout the night while making time to chat and even take a few photos. Finally, the food was simply amazing and we received compliments with every course, and in messages in days after, including about the sommelier’s wine selection. Huge thanks to the team at Beatrice for making our big day an elegant, fun and delicious success.

5 Star Rating Great service and atmosphere. We had dinner with colleagues sharing plates, so we tried many different dishes. Some were amazing, some okay, but overall good experience. Side comment on steaks: They were medium, even if we ask medium well, plus the sides were too cooked so it gave burnt aftertaste. Staff is super friendly and professional. Prices are somewhat fair for the quality. Valet service is available.

4 Star Rating Great spot for some tasty Mexican food with a vibrant atmosphere! The tacos were fresh and nicely presented, with a good mix of fillings and toppings. The rice on the side was flavorful and went well with the dish, though it could have been a touch warmer. The salad was fresh and crisp, though a bit more seasoning would have elevated it. The drinks were the highlight — beautifully served, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The mango drink was rich and smooth, while the creamy white cocktail had just the right sweetness with a tropical touch. The service was friendly, and the place had a lively vibe with fun décor, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy. Overall, a great experience — just a few small details away from being a solid 5-star!

2 Star Rating A busy restaurant with a cool vibe, but patience is necessary when waiting for a table. While the food had really good flavour, everything came out cold so it made it less enjoyable. Sam was our server and busted his butt serving the masses. The owner and floor manager were definitely not in sync and that left staff and patrons frustrated. It also left a sour taste in our mouths when they seated a party of 7 ahead of our party of 4. When we asked why they were seated ahead of us, the owner said "because they're a party of 7"... we should have left at that point. Lesson learned. Dine at your own risk.

3 Star Rating I’d rate 3 Amigos as an overall average experience. I ordered the fish tacos, but unfortunately they tasted and looked a bit old and lacked much flavour, which was disappointing. I can’t speak on the other dishes since I only tried that. The sangria was okay, a bit sour. Service was fine—nothing bad, nothing particularly standout either. Not terrible, but not somewhere I’d rush back to.

5 Star Rating On the evening of May 15th, our family of six embarked on a culinary escapade to 3 Amigos Montreal, and what transpired was nothing short of a delightfully memorable experience, seasoned with laughter, charm, and a generous sprinkle of guacamole. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a host who can only be described as the embodiment of charisma—an older gentleman with a twinkle in his eye, a sharp wit in his back pocket, and the welcoming warmth of an old friend. His impeccable hospitality set the tone for the evening, transforming our dinner into a lively and laughter-filled gathering. The food? Sublime. Each dish arrived bursting with vibrant flavors, artfully plated and generously portioned. From sizzling fajitas to perfectly spiced enchiladas, every bite felt like a love letter to Mexican cuisine. The children found joy in the colorful presentations, while the adults savored the depth of the seasonings and the evident care behind each dish. The atmosphere buzzed with the kind of festive energy that makes time slip by unnoticed, yet each moment was savored. It was more than a meal—it was a joyful celebration of togetherness, wrapped in tortillas and dipped in salsa. In a city brimming with culinary choices, 3 Amigos stands out not merely for its food, but for its heart. We left with full bellies, light spirits, and a unanimous promise to return.

5 Star Rating I went to 3 Amigos Montreal to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a fun experience! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly and even adding to the celebration vibe. The food was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I especially enjoyed the Quesadilla and Chimichanga. The drinks were also great and added to the festive mood. Overall, it was a memorable evening, and I’d definitely recommend 3 Amigos if you’re looking for a vibrant spot in Montreal to enjoy good food, drinks, and celebrations.

5 Star Rating A great atmosphere Irish pub. They have on the menu - unfortunately, only on the menu anymore - a challenge for their Guineiniss record book hot wings. Dear management: please, either make it worth it and give some reward for the challenge or remove the challenge from the menu. Anyways, the Guinness record book hot wings were really good. Very hot spicy, but tasty spicy and good too. I'd highly recommend trying it. They have live music during the evening.

We ordered the 1/2 McKibbin’s burger, substituted with salad instead of chips and the Quincy’s Quesadillas (roasted veggies). The Raspberry Mojito mocktail was a refreshing treat. 5 Star Rating McKibbin’s is hands down one of the best pubs in downtown Montreal. Every time I come here, I’m reminded why it’s such a classic. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a proper pub — warm, lively, and welcoming whether you’re with friends, coworkers, or just stopping in for a pint. The food is always solid pub fare done right. Portions are generous, everything is tasty, and it pairs perfectly with their great beer selection. Speaking of which, their variety of beers and whiskies is excellent — there’s always something new to try, along with all the favorites. The staff deserve a shoutout too. Service is friendly and efficient, even when the place is packed, which it often is thanks to the great vibe. Whether you’re there to watch a game, enjoy live music, or just relax with good company, the team keeps the experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s the kind of spot that feels like a staple in Montreal nightlife. Great drinks, hearty food, and an unbeatable atmosphere — McKibbin’s is always worth a visit.

4 Star Rating Thali is one of my favorite Indian places for a quick meal. The food is always ready, all you have to do is choose what you want. This is a family owned restaurant, the flavours are authentic and feel like it was home made. The only issue is the consistency, the food can taste slightly different from time to time depends on who is the chef on that day. It is very cheap compared to other places in Montreal, for 15$ you can get a big plate with rice, lentil soup, naan, and 3 curries of your choice. My go to are the butter chicken and the palak paneer.

All the vegetarian ones were flavorful, good amount of spicyness, basically everything you want. The fresh garlic Naan was delicious as well as the fresh Mango Lassy. I will definitely come back when I am around.

5 Star Rating The reviews of this club are all over the place, some are unfairly critical. It’s a lovely and intimate place to enjoy live jazz music. Intimate means it’s small and crowded, that’s why they offer multiple seatings. It’s a really great way to enjoy the music! The food was delicious, but with it being small and crowded, of course service may seem slow. To avoid that, come early and eat prior to the music so you can relax with an after dinner drink while listening to some of the best live jazz in town.

5 Star Rating Like many jazz clubs, many people in a small place. Two of us booked rez late for 9:45 show on a Fri night, so were only able to get seating at the bar. On arrival they were delayed in turnover from 7pm show, so patrons for 9:45 show were standing outside til 9:30 not quite knowing what was going on. Hostess was wonderful and we all got seated. Bar space is shoulder to shoulder and on high stools angled at 90 degrees to stage. While you can manuever head to see the stage thru other heads, being twisted at 90 degrees was tough on my back. The sound system was excellent and all seats are close to stage with space being small. Having one of first 5 bar stools would be much better. The bartender was excellent and fast being right in front of you. We saw Dawn Tyler Watson Quartet and found ourselves lucky to stumble upon such an amazing voice with excellent musicians for such a small price. Show was 75 minutes, with every bit of it enjoyable. Get a table and you will love this place.

5 Star Rating Make sure to make a reservation for an hour before the show is meant to start so you have time to order and eat your food (we got there for 06:30pm for a 7:30pm jazz show on Wednesday night). The seating is very close and cozy and you are able to chat before the show starts but won't be able to (and shouldn't!) once the show starts. The jazz was up close and personal and VERY GOOD! If you are looking for a cozy and authentic night of jazz in Montreal you won't be disappointed with Upstairs. The food was really amazing! It is VERY reasonably priced, a fairly large serving, and surprisingly fancy! Like I said the place is very cozy so the serving staff are side stepping quite gracefully between the tables, and never stop moving, but expect a bit of a wait for your food if it is a full house.

4 Star Rating The dishes here offer great value for money. I highly recommend their signature Braised Beef Brisket Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Braised Beef Brisket Rice comes with large, generous pieces of beef. The brisket is tender and well-infused with flavor, without being overly salty or loaded with monosodium glutamate (MSG) — it tastes just like a home-cooked dish. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is also excellent, and kids love it! The restaurant’s interior is clean and tidy, and the open kitchen allows diners to see the cooking process, which makes you feel secure about your meal. I’ll definitely come back again!

5 Star Rating After the very bad experience I had with Caribbean Food Factory I still wanted Jamaican food. I was told by 2 different Jamaican women to try Mango Bay. So I decided to give it a go. When I arrived at the restaurant I was greeted by a gentleman to take my order. Wasn’t sure how it was going to go because when I asked if he could Escovich the Red Snapper he seemed overwhelmed by my presence and stated he couldn’t Escovich the Red Snapper because he needed time. I said ok....After he took my order he went to the kitchen and came back and said since it wasn’t too busy he would be able to Escovich the Red Snapper. He also advised that I call the next time to give him time to prepare the fish. I briefly told him what I went through with Caribbean Food Factory and that I wanted to come in person instead of having the food delivered. The ladies were on point. The fish was Escoviched to perfection. The rice n peas, plantains and yam were also delicious. I will definitely try Mango Bay again before I leave to go home. Also referred co-workers to the restaurant. As a business owner myself I’ve learned when you treat customers with respect and honesty they’ll be a customer forever.

5 Star Rating After 6 years, it’s still Kazu that tastes the best for its price range. The atmosphere suits seasoned foodies. I order some appetizers and mains. The dishes come quickly and are served one after another, very suitable for two people to share. Price-wise, with tax and tip, it came to $160 for two people, and even for two people who worked out, it was a bit too much food. We ordered: • Fried green beans ($12) – generous portion and delicious. • Sashimi platter ($28) – tasty, but a bit small; just enough to get a taste. • Lamb chops ($27) – very good, portion was on the smaller side. • Pork shoulder ($27) – tasty and very large portion, but the center part of the meat was a bit dry. • Squid salad ($16) – delicious, moderate portion. • Beef heart ($12) – tasty, portion slightly small. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The flavors were complex and high-end. The pace was fast, and the staff were warm, friendly, and eager to recommend dishes and drinks. At the bar there are hooks for bags under the table which is super convenient. We arrived at 5pm and didn’t have to wait, but by the time we left at 6pm, a long line had already formed.

2 Star Rating Surprise. A friend refered restaurant. But the food quality was poor. As "sushi" or "sushi inspired" food, the fish is not fresh. Lots of low cost cabbage shred and low quality rice. I wouldn't call it anything related to sushi or Japanese foods. Long waiting line, but terrible food. Restaurant is typical downtown style, old, crowded, busy, etc. I suggest spend your money somewhere else. The food only looks nice, but taste a like wax, and cost way more than what it should be.

The food was absolutely delicious and I tried the grilled chicken and fries, and it was incredible. They’ve got a great variety on the menu, you’ll find something you’ll love. The vibe of the place is so nice, cozy lighting, good décor, and french rap music in the background that makes it super relaxing and cool. Perfect for a date night or even just a chill dinner with friends. The staff were also fantastic, friendly, helpful, and they really knew the menu. I felt well taken care of the whole time. Definitely recommend this spot, and I’ll 100% be back!

5 Star Rating We made it our first and final stop in Montréal (returning visitors because it was so good). The variety of food was awesome and the portions were very generous. Food quality was excellent (made better by Celine Dion ballads in the background). Service was excellent. Special mention to Karine who was so hospitable!

5 Star Rating We went there for brunch on our first say into Montreal! Really loved the food. Delicious, stay was friendly. They serve Large portions, we couldn’t complete the food; it will be good to have shareable option so that the food is not wasted. We opted to carry the leftover for later. Overall good experience! Will definitely go back.
