The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the service could be better and the food was average 7/10. I was expecting more for a restaurant of this status. If you love food with a-lot flavours, this place has light seasoning, so something to keep in mind. Good dishes were shrimp tempura with mayo, roasted chicken and Brussels.

This is truly a fine establishment! I can only praise.
Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is simply spectacular, only surpassed by the flawless service.
The servers were very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. Most restaurants would try to upsell and get you to order dessert but we actually appreciated that the server recommended dessert to us because it was truly that good!
The portions were also really good. You will not leave empty.

We booked Beatrice for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Daniela was fantastic throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with. Claudio and team made sure everything was perfect and delivered an amazing service from early evening well into the morning; no request was too big or small. There was always someone checking on our guests while food came out like clockwork. Our bartender David was also incredible, personable and made amazing drinks and shots throughout the night while making time to chat and even take a few photos. Finally, the food was simply amazing and we received compliments with every course, and in messages in days after, including about the sommelier’s wine selection. Huge thanks to the team at Beatrice for making our big day an elegant, fun and delicious success.

Great service and atmosphere.
We had dinner with colleagues sharing plates, so we tried many different dishes. Some were amazing, some okay, but overall good experience.
Side comment on steaks: They were medium, even if we ask medium well, plus the sides were too cooked so it gave burnt aftertaste.
Staff is super friendly and professional.
Prices are somewhat fair for the quality.
Valet service is available.

Excellent food and very attentive service! Elegant decor. Our favorite dish was the braised veal cheek raviolis. They were so tasty, strongly recommend. The desert was a piece of heaven to end our meal beautifully. We will definetly be back soon!

Their birria is alright but I love how crispy it is, my favorite would be their calamars frit tho! It's so well seasoned and the fried jalapeño that comes with it makes it even way better. The churros were also very good and big, the fried banana wasn't my favorite tho might be too sweet for my liking.

Great spot for some tasty Mexican food with a vibrant atmosphere! The tacos were fresh and nicely presented, with a good mix of fillings and toppings. The rice on the side was flavorful and went well with the dish, though it could have been a touch warmer. The salad was fresh and crisp, though a bit more seasoning would have elevated it.
The drinks were the highlight — beautifully served, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The mango drink was rich and smooth, while the creamy white cocktail had just the right sweetness with a tropical touch.
The service was friendly, and the place had a lively vibe with fun décor, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy. Overall, a great experience — just a few small details away from being a solid 5-star!

Beef quesadillas were so good and tasty, chicken tacos were good, perfect guacamole, piña colada strawberry my daughter's favorite! The service was very good and fast! Be ready to hear at least 6 happy birthdays playing around!

We recently got this place recommended and decided to check it out while visiting Montreal from Toronto. It truly exceeded our expectations—the quality, ambiance, service, and variety on the menu were all impressive. As vegetarians, we were blown away by the number of options available. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the pricing was incredibly reasonable.

I have been to this restaurant several times with my friends and we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We also left tips during our previous visits. This time, we came after finishing our exams to have a nice meal together and celebrate. Unfortunately, our experience at the end of the visit made us feel uncomfortable. As we are young students, we did not have the means to leave a tip on this occasion. After we paid, the server made a comment in a way that felt embarrassing, pointing out that we had not left a tip and asking if we had not enjoyed the service.
I understand that tips are an important part of the service industry, but I don’t think it is professional to make customers feel uncomfortable or guilty, especially young people who were simply trying to enjoy a meal after a stressful period. It should have been clear that we are just kids, especially since my order was only fries and a Coke. We left feeling embarrassed instead of happy, even though we came to celebrate.

Pretty awesome spot! Recently started coming here a little more often. Great for sporting events, comedy shows, live music and more. Great patio in the back, definitely one of the nicer ones in the downtown area. A good amount of variety when it comes to food. I am definitely looking forward to saint paddy’s here. Special shout-out to the manager Anna who’s been there for a while and makes the place that much more welcoming!

We got the Mckibbins Guinness Burger with a side of caesar salad. The quesadilla, buffalo chicken wings, and an order of chicken tenders.
The burger and wings were good, wings were not as crispy as anticipated, and the burger was on the oily side. The Guinness sauce tasted more like traditional BBQ sauce. The Caesar salad was really good, nice creamy sauce, that didn't overwhelm the rest of the salad.
The quesadilla was good, salsa provided a good amount of flavor. The chicken tenders on the other hand left a lot to be desired, they were rubbery and very stringy.
For drinks, I had a Moscow mule, and a negroni. The mule was really good, and the negroni was seemingly unmixed.
The atmosphere really tied the place over, solid Irish pub, great wall art, and very hospitable. Would recommend if you are looking for a casual pub to go to with your peers. They graciously comped the chicken tenders, which was very nice of them, and accommodating.

Went for St. Patrick's Day and it was AMAZING. Had an awesome night; beer was great, band was super fun, and the upstairs DJ played great songs. Since it was St. Paddy's day, it was quite packed, we waited in line a couple of minutes to get in, but nothing too long. Vibes were very fun!! Overall, a wonderful night!

A beautiful historic pub with a fantastic vibe and a delicious bison burger (just like I remember it from 20 years earlier!)
We came here for comedy on the second floor - that was so much fun! Be sure to come early to get good seats and be aware because of the age of the building to arrive early
The staff were so fantastic and helpful for those in our group with reduced mobility - thank you!
Eleanor MacPherson - 8 months ago
My review is very specifically showing up when it was super busy and crowded. While it chilled out before we left it was a little chaotic.
The food wasn't bad the, the Guinness burger was really good and the leek and chicken pie was delicious, but neither was out of this world (though the first bite of the burger was close.
With all the busy the server was on top of it, while the crowd felt a little over whelming when the kitchen missed our order it was fixed quickly and dealt with by the server.
I would try the place again when calmer in a heartbeat.

I recently visited Thali Cuisine Indienne and had both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis.
Vegetarian Thali:
Onion Curry: 10/10 ⭐ – Absolutely delicious and full of flavor.
Baingan Bharta: 9/10 – Smoky, well-seasoned, and very enjoyable.
Palak Paneer: 7/10 – Good, but could have had a richer flavor.
Served with rice and naan.
Non-Vegetarian Thali:
Chicken Curry: 10/10 ⭐ – The standout dish; perfectly spiced and very flavorful.
Butter Chicken: 7/10 – Decent, though it didn't stand out compared to the chicken curry.
Lentils (Dal): 7/10 – Good, but fairly average.
Served with rice and naan.
I'd definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for the onion curry, chicken curry, and baingan bharta. If you enjoy authentic Indian thalis with generous portions, it's well worth a visit. Overall rating: 8.8/10.

BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN MTL!
My friend recommend me this place and I’m so happy I discovered it! Amazing portions for the cheap thalis, 15$ for non vegetarian (2 meats, 1 veg) and 14$ for vegetarian (3 veg) exploding with aromas and spicy flavours. They are huge and come with rice and a huge fresh naan. The ladies who work there are super sweet!
I would recommend to get the lamb: it’s sooo delicious that at my second time there I took twice of it for my non vegetarian thali that comes with 2 meats and 1 vegetable option that you can choose. YUM

This is my new favorite Thali lunch spot! It's very affordable with quality choices for only $11.99 before tax. I had the lamb with curry vegetables 😋

Family owned vibe, the restaurant as a good flow of custumers. I ordered a vegetarian Thali and was really satisfied with my meal. Service was quick and friendly, the pretty cashier was fun to talk to. My friend ordered lamb and buttered chicken and really enjoyed his meal too. One of the best place to go for a value wise indian restaurant in Montreal💪

Ensure you reserve a table in advance.
Service is not up to the mark, orders were delayed. If you paying upwards of $300 on drinks and food between 2, you expect good service.
The Bartender is a rockstar though, may only consider going back coz of him and the music.

The service and staff were amazing, and the music was great. They even brought in a JUNO Award–winning artist—it was fantastic. We rang in the New Year with a package that included a charcuterie board, dinner, dessert, and a champagne toast at midnight. Such an amazing way to welcome the New Year.

Nice place. Good music. There's a parking area just in front.
I hoped to hear different jazz styles. Was too repetitive for me. The food was very unflavored. I ordered seafood casserole, it it was surprisingly tasteless. My husband ordered a burger. Wasn’t happy either. We paid around 120 for 2 dishes, sparkling water and the entrance fee.
Too packed also. The tables could be a bit far from each other.
Four stars for the atmosphere , the band and the overall mood. Thank you!

Fabulous experience here! The music was incredible (an extraordinary local group did a Roy Hargrove retrospective) and the staff super attentive, friendly, and efficient. We had a great evening! I liked going to the later show so we could linger over drinks and talk after the music was done.

The dishes here offer great value for money. I highly recommend their signature Braised Beef Brisket Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken.
The Braised Beef Brisket Rice comes with large, generous pieces of beef. The brisket is tender and well-infused with flavor, without being overly salty or loaded with monosodium glutamate (MSG) — it tastes just like a home-cooked dish. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is also excellent, and kids love it!
The restaurant’s interior is clean and tidy, and the open kitchen allows diners to see the cooking process, which makes you feel secure about your meal. I’ll definitely come back again!

Super tasty Rotis in the heart of downtown! It’s also pretty reasonably priced. I recommend getting the fried plantains. They’re perfectly cooked. Service was super attentive and really polite! Our server was wonderful (I believe her name was Latifa so thank you!)
Also note entrance is kind of confusing. You have to go through the entrance of chez Bong first and then take the door on the right and climb a flight of stairs. But it’s well worth it.

After the very bad experience I had with Caribbean Food Factory I still wanted Jamaican food. I was told by 2 different Jamaican women to try Mango Bay. So I decided to give it a go. When I arrived at the restaurant I was greeted by a gentleman to take my order. Wasn’t sure how it was going to go because when I asked if he could Escovich the Red Snapper he seemed overwhelmed by my presence and stated he couldn’t Escovich the Red Snapper because he needed time. I said ok....After he took my order he went to the kitchen and came back and said since it wasn’t too busy he would be able to Escovich the Red Snapper. He also advised that I call the next time to give him time to prepare the fish. I briefly told him what I went through with Caribbean Food Factory and that I wanted to come in person instead of having the food delivered. The ladies were on point. The fish was Escoviched to perfection. The rice n peas, plantains and yam were also delicious. I will definitely try Mango Bay again before I leave to go home. Also referred co-workers to the restaurant. As a business owner myself I’ve learned when you treat customers with respect and honesty they’ll be a customer forever.

If you’re a fan of authentic cuisines, this place is for you. The live cooking and the authenticity of flavors is on another level. Best restaurant in Montreal, we travel to Montreal at least twice a year to eat here! Get there before opening to avoid lineups, they don’t take reservations. Highly recommend eating any of the raw stuff, tempura green beans are crack, the katsu curry was probably the best katsu I’ve ever had. Never had a bad meal here.only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the tuna scrape as it’s quite pricey for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend for a group of more than 4 as it would be super tight, it’s a small place.

The grilled octopus is perfect but the portion is very small!
The chirashi is good but it’s a bit small.
My favorite is grilled seabass!!
I tried kalubi beef here too and it was perfect!

The food at Japanese Kazu is really great — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was excellent, and it definitely lives up to its reputation.
On weekends, be prepared for a long wait, as it gets very busy. The space is quite small, so it’s not really suitable for groups larger than 4 people. Smaller groups will have a much better experience.
Overall, if you don’t mind waiting and you’re coming with a small group, this place is absolutely recommended for quality Japanese food. 🍣✨

Got their half chicken in the spicy flavor, and honestly it was so delicious. The sauce was the star of the meal, super addictive with that perfect spicy, tangy flavor that immediately reminded me of Nando's. If you’re craving Nando’s-style chicken in Montreal, this is definitely a spot worth trying.
The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, not dry at all, which made it even better with the sauce. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the spice level was really satisfying without overpowering the taste.
The price was also very reasonable for the portion and quality, which made the whole experience feel even more worth it. Definitely one of those meals I’d happily go back for again and again.

We had such a great time at Spart Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, the chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, with spices that blended beautifully. We also ordered a Greek salad, and the portion was very generous. The rice was fresh, well-cooked, and complemented the meal perfectly.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and the waiting time was impressively short. The staff were so kind and welcoming, when they found out where we were from, they even played some traditional music from our home country to make us feel at home.

In my opinion, one of the best places to enjoy a high-quality, wide-ranging breakfast 🍳 🥞/ brunch in the city center!
BLUSH BRUNCH ROLL was only 20,15$ and for sure it’s V/M. We were really full with it. And salmon omelette was also very delicious.
In my opinion, this is one of the best places to enjoy a high-quality, wide-ranging breakfast in the city center!
Laurence was very helpful when taking our orders, and when my tea was running low, she kindly brought me hot water quickly without any fuss. The place was extremely clean, and everything we ate was delicious and prepared to a high standard. I definitely recommend this place my heart.

Good-quality brunches with generous portions. I ordered Choco Coco de Luxe which is a sweet crepe with strawberries, which also came with two eggs, potatoes, toast, and sausage. I wished they also had a small dish of fruit.
The regular coffee is refillable, which is great.
The only issue was that the waitress seemed a bit rushed and came by our table a bit too often to ask if we were done with our brunch. Other than that, everything was great—no complaints!
