Attended a private wedding. The presentation of the food was beautiful and creative. Some of the dishes weren’t my type of food or for my pallet. The fresh baked bread was fantastic as well as the lobster tail. Kobe steak was good but super tiny. Pavlova was to die for, can eat 6 of them! Service was good as expected from a Michelin star restaurant.

I wonder how the Michelin Guide can give this restaurant a star? The dishes looked beautiful, but the taste was disappointing. They lacked flavor, and most of the food was bland. Our bread wasn't fresh; I think it had been sitting on the counter for hours. It was dry and hard. In short, I didn't enjoy my experience at this restaurant.

Let me just start by saying WOW! Dining here is a unique experience and I commend the staff on their attention to detail on every aspect. I won’t go through and review every single thing served because there is a lot. I know some people say tastings leave you hungry at the end but that is not going to be an issue with this tasting experience. The star of the show for me was most certainly the full lobster tail which was the most perfectly cooked and well prepared lobster I have ever had, in my life (and I’ve lived in New England coastal cities for 6+ years); it’s probably going to put all lobster experiences to shame for the rest of my life lol. The other item that really stole the show was the brioche bread. Some other things to note that my pictures won’t cover: they brought a grill to my table to cook my Kobe in front of me, I got the opportunity to enter the kitchen and take a peek at their operation and everything was immaculately clean and well ordered even among the chaos of having to put together all these dishes for so many patrons. I cannot say enough good about Jerome Ferrer and I look forward to dining here again my next visit to Montreal. To the staff, you guys are superstars!

I visited Restaurant Jérôme Ferrer – Europea during my recent trip to Montreal came here for dinner meal, mainly because it holds a Michelin star and I was curious to see how it compares. Having dined at all the Michelin-starred restaurants in Toronto, I came in with fairly high expectations. Overall, Europea did a great job when it comes to service and presentation. The dining experience feels very theatrical, with creative and interactive ways of serving dishes that definitely make the meal memorable. The staff were attentive, professional, and clearly put effort into creating a unique atmosphere. That said, the food itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the presentation was impressive, I found many of the flavors to be overly heavy and not as refined or refreshing as I had hoped. Some dishes leaned too rich, which made it harder to fully enjoy the progression of the tasting menu. There was also a small but notable hiccup with the experience. We had made a special note that the dinner was for an anniversary, but it was mistakenly celebrated as a birthday instead. It didn’t ruin the evening, but it did take away from what was meant to be a more personal touch.

I had a fantastic experience here. It was my birthday and I did the tasting menu. They made sure my wine pairing glasses were well topped up for my birthday and the staff was very friendly and even gave me a birthday treat at the end that wasn't on the menu. The tasting menu was such an experience. The flavors, colors, textures. It was incredible. 10/10 worth it. At the end they let me into the kitchen to show me how things were done. I have nothing but good things to say about all the kitchen and restaurant staff, and the food!

Came here with Family on Friday July 24th. It was a busy vibrant night with lots of street traffic and we were simply looking for a nice place to eat that could accommodate us. This place did so with zero challenges. The bartender greeted us promptly and created an inviting atmosphere. The establishment was definitely catered toward Friday drinking crowds however, the music was there but not to the point where we couldn’t talk nor hear each other. Our sever was stellar, kind, helpful and well versed on the menu. Not to mention the food, having a family member with a gluten sensitivity they were still able to enjoy a burger on a GF bun. The fish and chips were delicious and wonderfully flaky. The fries were okay, definitely a smaller portion and they could’ve been salted better but that’s nitpicking. Our food was also ran by either a manager or back of house member who also delivered excellent customer service. It’s rare to go somewhere on a whim, during a busy night in a crowded downtown, and still receive top notch service from three different personnel. Very happy with my experience and I will be coming back.

We came into town from Kingston for the F1. There 5 nights, with the plan to visit different pubs/bars every chance we got. Discovered this place on the first night, and we went back the next day for lunch. And dinner. Then the next day. And the next. And the next. Top notch staff. Fantastic beer selection. Very good food with a great selection. Great prices. Can't say enough good things.

Late dinner for two at the pub. Server was friendly and the place wasn’t crowded. Television was showing women’s hockey which was cool. My food came hot and I liked the tasty fries. Been here before and would recommend it for fun night.

By far my favorite wings in the country so far. I travel coast to coast frequently and haven't found better. I do the Kick Ass dressing. I haven't figured out what they do to cook them but every trip to Montreal I visit for wings. Keep up the good work.

Nice experience, opted for the tasting menu so, 7 course meal, perfectly sized portions and all dishes were a surprise, based on chef’s daily creations. Wine pairings offered as well , unique dessert. Quiet and unique ambiance. Best to reserve and special occasions can be outlined, the restaurant offers special dessert and gift at the and of your meal.

We went here for their regular tasting menu but it so happened that it was during the ‘Montreal en Lumiere’ so we were surprised to receive a different tasting menu. We decided to stay and give it a try anyway but the food was just okay, forgetable even. Service was excellent, they made us feel very welcome and special. We might come back for the other tasting menu as it’s the one that looks impressive.

A feast indeed as the menu name suggests (menu festin)! Everything was delicious but I always prefer the creativity of appetizers more than main dishes which are suberbly executed. We went home very full and with leftovers!

Came here for their special spring break menu with 5 services for 75$. The lobster cappucino is amazing as always. The brioche bread was pretty good and the lobster risotto had a lot of lobster chunks in it. The steak was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The desserts were a bit of a let down. The service was fast and the staff were very nice and friendly. The place is clean and nicely decorated.

So this is a nice place, I was here early on a Wednesday afternoon, so it was slow. The upstairs was closed. The service was outstanding, really good! Great location of you're in the area, Hurleys Irish Pub is next door. I didn't try the food, so no option. The beer is beer, it's okay, thus the 3 star rating. If you're in the area, stop in!

Awesome atmosphere, great service, and tremendous food with a solid beer selection. The pub has charming old Irish décor, and you can tell it has a loyal following lots of repeat customers that really add to the warm, local vibe. They also have fantastic live music on weekends. There’s a huge yet cozy upstairs space that’s perfect if you’re going with a group of 10 or more. While the beers are good, Montreal has so many incredible breweries that they’re not quite at that level …some felt slightly watered down. That said, we ordered three starters and all of them were excellent, especially the chicken wings tossed in their special spicy sauce. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re downtown.

This is a solid spot to stop in for a quick pint and some genuinely good beer. We dropped by on Saturday before a concert at the Bell Centre and were pleasantly surprised. Service was fast, and there was plenty of space when we walked in. I had the nut brown ale, which was smooth and well balanced. My wife went with the West Coast IPA and enjoyed it just as much. Two beers for $20 isn’t bad for downtown Montreal, especially on Crescent Street. They offer around a dozen house-brewed beers on tap, along with a few guest taps. Overall, a reliable place to grab a beer before an event.

Had the pleasure of hanging out with the crew of Brutopia while I was in downtown Montreal visiting. This is a super great spot if you like craft beer, local entertainment, and a laid back chill environment. The only improvement I can think of is that my tacos were a bit overcooked and dry. Other than that small misstep this place is wonderful and I will be back! Thank Brutopia crew!

It is a hotel restaurant, so you should not expect fireworks.Still, the food is good, and the staff is very friendly and quite attentive. The wine cellar seems well equipped (although I have not tested it). My brownie was quite fine, although I'd prefer it to be warm, to blend better with ice cream.

Stayed at the hotel. Ate here 3 out of 5 nights, over the Grand Prix weekend. Food is fantastic,service is great the staff are brilliant. One night clashed with the play off hockey so it was loud and busy. So was a bit of a wait. Quesadillas starter are lovely 🤤 and a serving can be shared.

I’m here on business, and I’ve eaten in many 4-star hotel restaurants. This one, by far has stolen my heart. You would think if you’ve had one breakfast buffet, you’ve had them all. This one is much different. The fare is typical by most standards, but the care and quality of fresh ingredients, including fresh bruschetta for your creamy scrambled eggs was a perfect touch. Montreal is fantastic for promoting local breweries. They also serve their pints with in house, thick cut and seasoned potato chips! I wasn’t starving, so some sides for dinner sounded great. The carpaccio and fried Quebec cheese curds hit the spot. Don’t skip on this place if you’re staying here!

They did not have alot of vegetarian/vegan options, however the huge salad was at peak freshness with a very nice balsamic dressing. The hummus plate was super tasty and presented very nicely. The drinks were done very well. Where they earned the 5 starts was service. Kia (I hope I spelled it correctly) was very kind and so attentive. She paid attention to details and really made the dining experience wonderful.

When you enter you feel a warm atmosphere that combines the old and the new. One waiter got upset very loudly at other waiters and it happened a couple of times, it distracted us from the quiet and comfortable setting. The menu is pretty diverse. We had a great waiter. We ordered the filet mignon and osso bucco. The filet mignon was not properly cooked. The waiter promptly offered complimentary wine glasses; a nice gesture. The drinks were nice. The deserts were a bit disappointing the cheese cake was very fluffy and had no density. The molten chocolate cake was not what you usually expect it was more of a mousse.

The food was absolutely amazing! We started with the burrata and the calamari, and both appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For our main courses, we had the ossobuco and the seafood risotto, and they were simply exquisite. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The portions were very generous, and while the restaurant is on the pricey side, the elevated cuisine, exceptional quality, and generous servings make it well worth it. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. We had a wonderful dining experience and highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a very pleasant evening and a delicious dinner at Da Vinci Restaurant during our visit to Montreal. We love Italian food and appreciated an authentic menu and nice wine selections. We ordered salads, a fish dish, and risotto. There were many other options that I’m sure are also great. In addition to the food, our service was superlative, beginning with a greeting at the door upon arrival, some fun conversation, and a warm farewell. The restaurant is comfortable, calm, and nicely decorated. We will definitely return when we are in the city next time!

This restaurant is a must-visit! The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and welcoming. A super convenient option before a hockey game. Everything is very well organized and timed, and it’s great that you can keep your table throughout the game and come back during intermissions. The buffet offers plenty of variety (meat, fish, salads, desserts, something for everyone), and the service is quick and efficient. It does get quite loud and very busy, but that also adds to the lively game-night atmosphere.

Amazing experience! Especially on game night. Coat checked. Service is excellent. The buffet is outstanding, prime rib, filet mignon, sushi, prawn shrimps... side dishes and not to mention their dessert table. Although members only, if you get the chance... don't miss it.

Have only come here for events hosted by companies (manufacturer/vendors in IT industry). The interior design is very nice and perfect for small events like this. The seating is good, there is a bar, a buffet area, dining area. The food is very good and the staff are friendly.

Late night pizza joint catering to the drunk after bar/club crowd. Prices are rather high and they never have plain pizza so they can charge more. They do have a good selection of strange toppings and condiments. Not the cleanest place and they are only open at odd hours, never daytime.

When we walked into the restaurant the male worker was too busy talking to his friend and did not even acknowledge until we told him we wanted to order...meanwhile the restaurant was empty! Once we asked the guy that we wanted a large pizza he claimed the smallest size he could make was an extra large...that makes no sense because he was making the pizza for us from scratch and was able to make whatever size we wanted. Once the pizza was ready he left it on the counter and did not even let us know. A customer walked in after us and the worker did not acknowledge him at all until after our pizza was made. Poor poor service.

Service is good. So many choices for pizza. The chef is very talented and innovative. He invents and make many kinds of mouth watering type of tasty pizza. My personal favourite is the Orion special pizza. Nice and thin crust, good sauce, with arigulas, and lots of good meats! 😋👍🍕🍕🍕❤️

This place was recommended to us by family. I must say it did not disappoint. The focaccia was good, 4$ extra for the special olive oil from italy the waiter tried to take it away during the meal.. i told him calmly put the olive oil back on the table before i bite ur fgn hand off. Tortelini with ricotta was rlly good the sweetness of the corn (which is in season) was a good counter to the dish and nice twist. Homemade pasta great, the porc was unbelievable, so was the fish. And the beef tartare ming forget abaaaat it 10/10. One thing that pissed me off tho it that it was 6pm with punk weird alternative music blasting hello ur an italian restaurant put some Vivaldi or smtg and put the sound down when we ask… you wanna know why?? It is out of respect… Salute tommy ! Dont go getting too big on me

Really enjoyed my experience at Nora Gray. The foglie d’ulivo, pesto de roquette, olives taggiasche was light, fresh, and easy to enjoy. The arugula pesto and olives worked very well together and gave the pasta a lot of flavor without feeling heavy. The boeuf de la ferme d’Orée 8oz was also very good. The beef was dry-aged for five weeks and had a rich flavor. It was cooked perfectly for our taste, although they didn’t ask how we wanted it cooked. The sauce on the steak was excellent and brought everything together. Service was good overall and our server was knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside was that the restaurant is very strict with the menu. We asked to add a few drops of balsamic to the olive oil and they said no but the olive oil itself was great. Overall, very good food and a nice experience.

One of Montreal’s more reputable restaurants, and it’s easy to see why. The ambiance is intimate, the staff is extremely attentive, and the overall experience feels polished from start to finish. Definitely French bistro vibes. I had a great dinner, but for me the menu lacked a bit of adventure compared to some of Montreal’s other elite restaurants. They also lean heavily into butter, which makes sense stylistically, but it’s just not exactly my preference. Absolutely worth a visit, but not necessarily a regular spot for me.

Below average experience. The food was honestly not good. The spaghetti alla bottarga got no unami flavor, we couldn’t taste any fish toe but just strong acidity from the lemon, which was way too overpowering. Beef cut was too chewy, pork was better but not standing out. The appetizer of carppacio is very normal, mushroom underneath but not very well integrated in flavor. Sea bream cheek was meh-ok, standard olive oil with some balsamic. The tuna sauce of potato is too bad, the fishy-ness all came out. Dessert - the citrus mascarpone one has good composition, salt and olive oil on top are nice. But the signature tarte noire is just a dense chocolate cake, all of us have tasted some bitterness. Only dish worth eating is the tagliatelle alla bolognese. Good in texture, taste and classic. Service was bad, the waiter was not very patient. Gave our table the wrong order two times, once from the other table, then taking away and didn’t apologize. Then second forgot about the sauce on side note. I still tipped reasonably but now I kind of regret it for the below average food experience and service. That’s all, would not recommend.

This is a rare find. It competes with what use to be my favourite restaurant on the planet called 'Veya' in Anguilla in the West Indies. Almost every dish is spectacular and the staff is friendly, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. If you have noise level issues book a table outside. In summer months (indoors) the heat might be an issue. We’ll go back because among fine restaurants this one is easily among the best. The food and the staff are outstanding ! Go AND You’ll Go Back.

Good Korean restaurant. We had a reservation so didn’t have to wait to be seated. However, it took a long time for them to hand out menus and take our order because it was a busy night (Twice concert at Bell Centre) and they were understaffed. Luckily, food came out quickly. Food was good but a bit too oily.

Very disappointing service. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is one of the most frustrating service experiences I've had in a while. After we were seated, we quickly realized we had water but no glasses. We had to ask for them ourselves. Then the food arrived and, somehow, we didn't even have utensils. Had to ask for those too. Apparently, having glasses AND utensils ready for customers is too much to expect here. Even the complimentary side dishes didn't show up until we were more than halfway through our meal and almost finished eating. Usually they're served when you're seated or at least with the food, so at that point we genuinely thought maybe our order simply didn't come with them. Apparently, they were just forgotten too. The service didn't improve from there. Our server dropped off the food and basically disappeared---not a single check-in during the entire meal. When it was time to pay, we explained how my friend and I wanted to split the bill, waited forever, and then had to explain everything all over again to another old lady because the first one vanished. My friend paid first, and instead of finishing our table, the lady literally walked away to process another table's payment while I was still sitting there waiting. When she finally came back and I paid, she had the nerve to ask me why I didn't leave a tip. Maybe provide decent service first before questioning customers about tips? And somehow, after all that, she handed the POS machine to my friend AGAIN even though she had already paid. We literally had to show her the receipt. To top it all off, she gave me a damaged takeout box and acted visibly annoyed when I asked for one that wasn't broken. Disorganized, inattentive, and unnecessarily rude from beginning to end. The food may have arrived quickly, but apparently the basic service didn't arrive at all. Won't be coming back.

This restaurant has to be one of my favorite spots in Montreal! I’ve been multiple times already and it has never disappointed me. It was my first time trying Korean food and it made me fell in love with this cuisine. I absolutely love this place and you should absolutely try it. Service is great! And my recommended dishes are the following: Kimchi chigae, beef bone soup, bulgogi jeongol, dakgalbi with pork and their fried chicken! You won’t be disappointed!

With 15 years of operation under their belt, this restaurant truly knows how to deliver rich flavors and comforting dishes. ✨ One of the highlights of our visit was their signature dish, Dakgalbi. The chicken is marinated to perfection and stir-fried with an array of vegetables, all infused with a delightful spice that keeps you coming back for more. 🔥🍗 Also, the use of broth in the soups adds a depth of flavor that makes each spoonful a comforting delight. 🍲💖 The chef, with 30 years of experience running multiple restaurants in Korea, has truly mastered his craft. We highly recommend trying: - Tofu Kimchi, which is a delightful combination of flavors and textures. 🥬😍 - The Somyun, available with seasquid or bai top shell, is another must-try that perfectly balances taste and freshness. 🦑 - And don’t miss the Dogani Sooyuk—this dish takes a painstaking eight hours to prepare, and you can taste the care and attention that goes into it. ⏳👌 - And if you’re in the mood for something spicy, the Jjambbong comes highly recommended by locals, while the Soondubu soup is perfect for those seeking a warm, hearty option. 🌶️🍜
