Another superb stay at Le Germain Montréal. Each time I am in town for business I stay at this hotel and I feel most comfortable, safe and well rested. The rooms are top notch, clean and well appointed. Staff quick to help and friendly. The text msging service is a great way to request support. Will definitely stay here again. 5 star experience! The front desk staff and room attendant were very friendly and accommodating. The room was also spotless and modern. The hotel is also a very strategic location if you enjoy hiking at Mont Royal, while still very close to all the shops. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Amazing hotel, well located near to downtown Montreal but also the McGill campus and hiking up the mountain parkland nearby. Rooms are modern, spacious and very well laid out. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We'll be back!

Great location, friendly staff. Excellent decor. The bed was a bit firm for me, my husband thought it was comfortable. Robes and shower amenities included. Water filling stations near the elevator. Small exercise room.

Absolutely one of the best wood-fired pizzas I've had! The crust was perfectly crisp with that authentic smoky flavor, the toppings were fresh and generous, and every bite was delicious. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. We stopped here for our last night in Montreal for dinner. The staff were quick, attentive and very polite. The food was outstanding. We split a Cesar salad for starter and no word of a lie, it was just lettuce, croutons and dressing but one of the best Cesar salads I’ve ever had. The extensive pizza menu features tons of beautiful, freshly made items all prepared in a wood fired oven. I had the salamino (#54) and hubby had the arugula(#71). Both were fantastic. We took an order of cannolis to go, and they were out of this world. The cream was thick and delicious with just a hint of lemon. The restaurant was packed with a lively, friendly vibe. Plus it was super close to our hotel so it was a great choice. I would recommend it to anyone. Total for dinner plus hubby’s two beers and tip was $122.23

Go early bcs there’s is a line (for a good reason) this restaurant feels like being back to Italy. They have multiple pizzas/calzones/ salads dont worry it comes with good pizza bread ! Food: amazing 100/10 light, authentic,generous Prices: 15-30$ Drinks:10-15$ Aperols on point they dont play! Atmosphere: 10/10 make ur reservation be on time A must try! Love it! Great to go for a date or with family!

Walked in and was immediately greeted and seated and within 10 minutes I was chowing down the pictured arugula and prosciutto pizza (they have like 75 pies to choose from). The atmosphere was lively and convivial and wait staff incredibly attentive but the star of the show was the food and it didn't disappoint. The crust and all the components I opted to have piled on top were a symphony of flavors. If you're craving pizza in Montreal I can't imagine there are better options than this joint.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it has quickly become one of my go to spots when I want a fun, relaxed night out. The Irish pub vibe is honestly such a big part of what makes this place special. It feels lively but still comfortable, the kind of place where you can hang out for a while and actually enjoy yourself. The service has always stood out to me. Every time I’ve gone, the staff has been super friendly, fast, and really on top of things. The bartender especially was amazing the last time I went. I decided to switch it up from my usual cider and try a cocktail, and I went with a Fuzzy Navel. It’s a simple mix of peach schnapps and orange juice, but it was made perfectly and tasted so balanced. You can tell they know what they’re doing behind the bar. The waitress was also incredibly attentive and kind, always checking in at the right moments without it feeling too much. It just made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. The place itself is consistently clean, which I really appreciate, especially for a busy bar. Another thing I noticed is how well they handle any difficult situations. If there are ever any rough customers, the staff deals with it quickly and professionally, and the vibe goes right back to normal without it becoming a whole thing. Overall, it’s just a really solid spot. Great drinks, great service, great atmosphere. I’ll definitely keep coming back and recommending it to friends in the area.

This pub was very close to our hotel. On our first night we popped in and a chap was playing guitar and singing, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. We noticed you pay as you order at the bar — fine for us, just different from some of the other places we’d been. It was busy and definitely has that classic Irish‑bar feel, with a large menu. We didn’t try the food. Overall, it was a nice place for a drink. Loud, but not in an overwhelming way. We also went in one afternoon when the football was on — World Cup everywhere, couldn’t escape it lol. I judge a place by toilets, they were clean and quirky Would recommend.

Great atmosphere at 3 Brasseurs McGill! We visited on a weekday around 7 PM and were seated immediately. For drinks, we tried the beer tasting flight and a pint of "our signature brew".Both were quite good. ​We ordered the nachos and sauerkraut to eat. The taste and quality were definitely above average, so I'd give the food a solid 4/5 stars. On top of that, our server was incredibly professional and friendly, making the whole experience even better. We had a really great time here and would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed drinking beer there with some friends! They have a flight that includes ten 8 oz. Which was quite a lot for 5 people, but it was very fun! The flight comes with a pizza which was great! The service was great and our waiter was very nice! Not too noisy so you can enjoy chatting with friends!

The service and atmosphere is great! Unfortunately, the food was just decent. Not bad or anything but just not as great as expected. Poutine: fries similar to McDonalds, not seemingly fresh. Gravy was fine, nothing great. (Very similar to getting a poutine at McDonalds but for way more money) Seems like if you are there for just a drink it’s the place to be, as the atmosphere was great and the Sangria we got was delicious! Maybe other meals would be better.

If you like sushi, this is an absolute must-go restaurant. Not only does the chef create outstanding classic sushi, but they also introduce you to unique, unforgettable creations you won’t find anywhere else. We trusted the server to choose for us—and we definitely did not regret that decision. It made the experience even better. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The prices are on the higher end, but they’re in line with other high-quality sushi restaurants and absolutely worth it.

We recently had a positive experience at Sho Dan Sushi in Montreal. After a day of Browse the fantastic boutiques and shops nearby, it was the perfect place to unwind and grab a bite. Once inside Sho-Dan, I found myself underwhelmed by the overall atmosphere. The décor lacks character, with plain white tablecloths and a lack of any distinctive features. Instead of exuding a sushi restaurant ambiance, it feels more like an upscale Italian establishment catering to an older demographic. Unfortunately, my initial impression fell short of excitement. However, my disappointment took a turn when we decided to sample a variety of items from the menu. The sushi exceeded expectations, boasting a delightful freshness and appealing presentation. First of all, the restaurant itself looks amazing — very comfortable sofas, well-spaced tables, and a beautiful design. I honestly didn’t expect such an atmospheric place, especially knowing the prices beforehand (which are surprisingly affordable for a place like this). We ordered the onion soup, served with a rich cheesy topping — it was absolutely delicious. To be honest, after the soup alone I already felt full and completely satisfied😁 But we didn’t stop there and ordered a smoked meat sandwich. It was outstanding: a huge portion with incredibly juicy meat and wonderful bread, very soft inside with a crispy crust served with fries on the side🤤 I don’t live in Montreal, but we love this city and visit it often just to enjoy our time there. Now I know for sure that we’ll also be enjoying great food every time we come. You can really feel that everything in this restaurant is prepared with care and soul😌

Smoked Up!! @ Reuben's. Had to get my smoked meat fix. Okay I know the purists will hate me for putting Mayo on smoke meat, but that is my thing. Nice fatty cuts just melt on my mouth. Coleslaw had the right sweet to tang ratio. The pickles were amazing.

A little more expensive then elsewhere, but the portions reflect that and you get big plates of food. Everything we had was very good. Sadly, my burger was slightly over cooked, certainly not medium as advertised. Still good though. Desserts are delicious. Service was excellent! Knowledgeable, friendly, bilingual, fast! All in all a good meal. There's no way you leave this restaurant hungry!

I am sad that this location will be closing soon. 10 years ago, not long after the restaurant first opened its doors, a girl took me out to lunch at this place. Since then, we have come back to this restaurant every year. We are now married and have two kids. Today, we went back for lunch, once last time, to say farewell to this wonderful restaurant. The menu is always fresh and every details is well thought of. The service is perfect and I recall having some great conversations with one of their sommelier. If you love great food, are looking for a culinary experience and have a chance to try this place before it closes, go for it! Otherwise make the trip to its Quebec city location, you will not regret it.

This restaurant was okay. Service was good but at the beginning we felt like we were being sold a time-share (they sit you down, want you to have a drink, then they give you a treat, and after that they come out with leather folders and show you the options) it was way too staged and it didn’t seem authentic, especially after you first walk in the door. Once they’re done selling you each menu and the wine pairings, they give you another treat and they show you to your table. The service aside from that stated experience was good. The waiters were very attentive and catered to our every need. How ever, it must be noted that the waiter spilled water all over the table when we first sat down. We had to do some drying ourselves. He also dropped the bread when it first came out. It seemed like he was a little nervous or perhaps his over-confidence backfired. Service was also a little aggressive when pushing the chairs to let us sit. I’m terms of the food, it was okay. We enjoyed 3/7 dishes. Some creations were too far-fetched. The flavours were perhaps masked by some other things (goat cheese ice cream, lamb, and scallops), and in some cases it was way too fatty (as was the case with the duck). Hot crab was good, cold crab was good, sea bass was good. What we didn’t like was that they changed items in the menu without changing he actual menus, and made it seem like too improvised. The ambiance was amazing. The restaurant looks super sleek, very clean, modern and elegant. Probably the best part. Except for pre-staging, which again felt like you’re being sold a time-share... Overall, an okay choice. If you’re going, make sure you ask for a waiter that speaks good English, otherwise you’ll have a hard time understanding what the dishes are about, or the wine, or just general chit-chat. Not the most anglophone staff.

Amazing experience. Strongly recommend! The environment is fantastic and cozy. The lights and objects that compose the restaurant are great. Located in a hotel downtown. Services are excellent and all recommended dishes were perfect and beautiful. It's not cheap though, but worth it. Good for romantic dinner or especial occasions.

We had such a great experience at La Balconé, and a huge part of that was thanks to Normand, our server for the evening. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of without ever being overbearing. He had great timing throughout the dinner and show—always there when we needed something, but also letting us fully enjoy the atmosphere and performance. His recommendations were spot on, and he brought such a positive, professional energy to the table. It really elevated the whole night for us. Thank you, Normand, for making our evening so enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back!

The venue is absolutely stunning with amazing acoustics. We went to see Old soul there and it was undoubtedly the best sounding show of theirs we have been to. The staff is amazing and very helpful, since it is a bit of a maze going through the church. Special shout out to Mila for being so helpful and knowledgeable about the location and everything surrounding the venue.
