Breakfast was so amazing, they had great options for eggs benedict that were creative and delicious. The shakshuka was also awesome and their drinks and smoothies were also top notch. The service was excellent and our waitress was so funny and welcoming we had a great time. We even went back the next day because it was so good.

Angel, our server, was amazing! The service and the food were both incredible. I highly recommend trying the Benedict and the meat toast and the pistachio latte was on another level of good! I’ll 100% come back if I visit Montreal again. We had a 7-day vacation starting from Montreal, then Quebec City, and finally Ottawa, and tried at least 14 different restaurants and L’Avenue was THE BEST! Just a heads-up: it’s totally normal to wait in line here, especially in a city like Montreal where people love eating out. Definitely worth the wait!

L’Avenue is and has been for years hands down one of Montreal’s brunch gems. I had about a 15 minute wait outside this time, but it was absolutely worth it just like every visit over the years. The eggs Benedict were perfection, and everything else on the table was just as impressive. Portions are generous, flavors are spot on, and the presentation is always creative. The vibrant decor gives the place such a fun energy, and the staff are consistently warm, attentive, and efficient, no matter how busy it gets. L’Avenue never a letdown!

Such a great food spot where the locals eat too. Blueberry pancakes were berry good. Would recommend their banana date French toast! Excellent caramel sauce and maple syrup. Shakshuka was great too. If you have a minute, check out their bathrooms just for the cool vibes. We came early so didn’t have to wait in any long lines.

L’Avenue was amazing! The portions were huge and the food was incredibly satisfying. I had the Bobby Does Dallas and the classic Eggs Benedict, both packed with flavour and very filling The blueberry pancakes were also delicious. Ceaser was one of the best I’ve had in Montreal. Would come back for brunch again.

We tried the poulet Panko, kebab libre, and falafel — all were delicious, but the kebab libre was the standout for me. The bread was fresh and perfectly crunchy, adding a great texture to every bite. We arrived just before the lunch rush, and the line quickly stretched to the end. Seating is limited, so I recommend getting there early. Expect a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it for the quality and freshness.

i go there twice a week for a reason. it’s simply unbeatable. the line is so long but time passes by really fast and it’s js worth the wait. i prefer mont royal ones over rachel street ones better in terms of taste. rachel street ones are too stuffed and has a lemony taste. rachel street is also more expensive but ig it’s fair for the amount of chicken they put.

We tried the lamb and chicken sandwiches. Both were out of this world! They were so flavorful and perfectly made. No wonder there’s always a line here. It was definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. There’s also a small patio with chairs and tables to enjoy your sandwich while street watching.

Neighborhood is packed, hard to find parking but owner have area to park but its located a block from the restaurant. One of his staff accompanied us to the parking. Food are delicious however you can tell that it was cooked in advance and its no longer fresh compared to a newly cooked food. Place is old and needs improvement. This place has a potential but need to improve things that I had mentioned. But I found the owner is kind hearted person, we've got a chance to chat with him for awhile because the place was not busy ... but I can see people order for take out delivery.

A lovely Mediterranean and North African restaurant in the heart of Montreal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the food portions are excellent, and everything tastes fresh. The place is a bit small, but it feels cozy and quiet. Highly recommended.

At first, nobody came to welcome us at the door for a good 20-30 minutes. The owner was nice and took his time to explain the menu. We didn’t have the best experience with the royal coucous. The merguez and lamb wasn’t too flavourful. We recommend trying the soup and beef briks.

The service was amazing. Super nice and attentive. Loved the ambiance, the music… On the other hand, the beef had a lot of pieces of fat, like more than half the meat in my tacos :( (I had 3, and all had a lot of pieces of fat in them) Not too sure if it’s custom in this type of cuisine, but I haven’t had this many pieces in any other restaurant that served the same dish. As for the other two, missing flavor, but texture was good!! Probably would not return, but for people who don’t mind pieces of fat, worth trying 😊

Ok I wanted mexican and this was good. Street like. No fanfare just tacos. If that's your cup of tea go for it. It was very good. It came recommended. But I prefer the works, like guacamole chips and margaritas. They did have beer. If you want something quick this is the place.

For the price, the food is pretty great! It’s not my favourite flavour wise, but it’s still high quality, tasty and original as a taco place (try their queso fundido, I believe it’s one of their specialties). Friendly service, nice summer terrace and pleasant atmosphere.

Food: The flavors were good and prepared well. You also get to try all the options from the first two services and dessert from the menu. However, one type of paella will be split among your party. Portions were good! Service: Quite slow. We were there from 6:30 and only left at 10:15PM. We were really enjoying our time at the beginning until we saw the time and noticed people who got there much after who ordered the same menu somehow caught up. They also nearly forgot to give us our shrimps so we ended up having it with the paella. It was just so long.

Amazing experience here during MTL a Table 2025. The restaurant is lovely and really cultivates a great vibe. I could have stayed for hours. The service was incredibly friendly and fast. The food came out quicker than I could even take pictures of! Each tapas plate was delicious - cooked and seasoned to perfection. We loved the Iberian ham dishes and the brussel salad. The Spanish omelette was to die for! Truly delicious appetizer course in which each dish flowed seamlessly (and quickly) into the next. We had the traditional chicken and rabbit Paella, which was phenomenal. They 100% delivered on the socarrat. Amazing flavours and wonderful crisp. Excellent date night spot. We will be back soon!

The beef cheek benedict with arepa: meat was tasty n tender, loved it! The arepa was either not cooked or my teeth are just sensitive, it's like i was grinding corn grains instead of chewing. Poached eggs were more like boiled eggs in the benedicts. I asked for virgin mimosa, yet they served OJ. Friendly service, nice ambiance.

We had an amazing dining experience at Ibéricos Taverne à Tapas Espagnoles! Every tapa we ordered was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. Wy wife and I wanted to celebrate, and we were downtown, we decided to get a nice paella platter for two! What a mistake! Chicken and chorizo were flavourless and tasted gamy... Rice was cold and pushed into the plate.. Not enough to serve 1 portion. Plus the calamari platter was over salty! Terrible quality for the price (55$).. Nothing to impress!

Super funky spot in the Plateau. I actually had a few drinks at this spot 20 years ago and not much has changed, including the ostrich heads on the walls. The menu is very Czech and a bit hard to figure out but the drinks we had were tasty.

I've visited Arriba Burrito Express a few times, and I can say I've had a great experience. As a vegetarian, I ordered the chili burrito and tacos. The spice level is just right, they always add plenty of ingredients, and the food comes hot and satisfying. The atmosphere is also great for hanging out with friends and enjoying an afternoon. Now in the summer, they have outdoor seating and music. I recommend this place not only to vegetarians but also to anyone else, the food is not only delicious but also a great portion for the price.

I stopped by Arriba Burrito to grab the tofu chilli bowl. I thought the bowl was okay but very oily. There are no waiters or cashiers. You have to order on a screen and then pick up your food when it's ready. The restaurant was quiet but felt crowded with all the restaurant stock around you. Their red hot sauce is really good but I think it was old since it was past it's best by date. Overall I had an alright experience, I might try their burritos next time.

Absolutely exquisite! We started with a fresh salad & a positively delightful eggplant confit that will blow your socks off. Service is absolutely stellar! Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our server made our visit a special occasion!! My wife had the braised lamb shank & I had the cassoulet. Both traditionally prepared with bright delightful flavors. Here’s a secret… finish your meal with the Isle Flottantes. Trust me.

Wow... dinner here last night with my wife was one of the best meals either of us have had in a really long time, and as true foodies who cook all the time and love exploring and eating at all kinds of wonderful places... trust me when I say that's saying something! The food here is astonishingly good!! We started with the escargot which is impeccable, just delicious in every way... my wife had the incredible leg of lamb, and I had the extraordinary cassoulets... wow. It's hard to explain how amazing the guys in the kitchen's food truly is, I was looking for any critique possible and I didn't have one, a perfect 10/10 meal. Atmosphere is amazing, everyone else there was sitting enjoying each other's company and food and sharing the wine they all brought... another incredible aspect of the place! The lady serving us was very friendly and happy as well. This is a hidden gem 100%... share a stunning meal with the people you care about 👌🏻

Our party of six, including my 4-year-old, had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here. The service was very attentive and accommodating, including to my son's ridiculous request for a chair for the stuffed animal he got at La Ronde that day. It was BYOB but wine glasses and a champagne bucket with ice were brought out immediately for us. I ordered the poached salmon filet with shrimp and it was the best salmon I've ever had - it was cooked perfectly with a flavorful white wine cream sauce. No one had any complaints about the appetizers and main dishes they ordered. Desserts were also flawless - the meringue was light and absolutely delectable. Highly recommended!

One of the things that I've always loved about visiting Montréal is the wonderful dining experiences that you can have there, and P'tit Plateau is a great example of that. Classic French-style dishes beautifully prepared, with warm service in a cozy setting. The BYOB is an added plus as you can be sure to bring something you know that you'll like to drink.

It's THE spot to go at if you're looking for snacks , onigiris, sushis, drinks, sauces, curry powder, instant ramen, pokebowl and so much more !! I've found a lot of my childhood snacks back when my grandma used to buy me candies and it bring back memories (*´ω｀) I end up buying a box of sushi along with 2 calpico drinks and it taste very fresh and yummy 😋 I've been visited this place several times now and to my every visit I absolutely enjoy looking at the food they have available and the varieties is huge!! 💖💖💖

Hidden gem filled with Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and Japanese products. There are many cute snacks as well as there are sauces and noodles. I haven’t tried their prepared meals or anything from their menu but the items for sale are intricate and delicious . This store is a much needed addition to Avenue Mount-Royal!

No-nonsense corner store with mostly Korean, Chinese, and Japanese snacks ingredients, and other kitchen necessities. They have a small kitchen for takeaway sushi, onigiri, and even kimchi, at a reasonable price for the quality. I pass by often for a fresh kimchi or tuna onigiri on the way to work.

I was looking forward to trying their sushi Tokyo, cause they looked so fresh and flavourful on their customers’ pictures. I didn’t expect anything amazing, but this was just terrible. Both my boyfriend and I ordered different sushi types and they were all bland, dry and flavourless. The tuna wasn’t the bright red that I expected in the pictures, it was almost a colourless light brown/pink… same for much of the other fish. The snack options are good, prices are decent for those. As for the sushi, not worth the price. About the same as a restaurant which I’d rather go to.

It was a rainy October afternoon when I decided to stop by Trip de Bouffe to grab a quick lunch. Usually when I walk by, the place has a lineup to the door, but likely due to the weather - and my late lunch - the restaurant had a calm energy I’ve rarely seen there. Inside, there’s a small seating area by the window flanked by walls covered with art and local event fliers. Towards the counter are shelves stacked with Lebanese snacks and desserts along with fridges filled with ready to eat meals and Lebanese cheeses. I scanned the extensive menu and ordered a Poulet Regulier: marinated chicken with cheese rolled into a soft pita with pickled turnip, tomato, onion, olive, labneh and mint. I only realized afterwards that adding all these toppings is an extra $2.50 (+$1 for the labneh) - which turned my $9 pita into $14. A fair price but more than I planned to spend on lunch. The pita was delicious and the addition of the mint was a clever way to add sweetness while the Labneh (soft cheese) added creaminess to the mix. I do wish there was a bit more chicken but as a whole it was quite substantial. The atmosphere here really shines in the summer, when avenue mont-royal is pedestrian and you can enjoy your meal on their outdoor set up of tables and chairs.

Good sandwich, I love the various options of bread. The feta and spinach sandwich costed around 9$ including tax. They also sell cheap prepared dishes that I have to try one day.

Hands down the best Lebanese food in town! Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The owner’s hospitality made the experience even better, such a kind person who truly cares about his guests. He even offered us a discount! Definitely coming back! 100% recommend

Tasty sandwich at an affordable price. Staff is nice and friendly, they will be happy to take their time and introduce the customers to their best selling sandwiches. The space will probably fit just 4-5 people for dine in so better to do take out.

Ikissed the zaatar and cheese sandwich. Quick, healthy, and delicious option. Here they take card unlike Kawha. I wish they offered lettuce but other than that app in order. Price is accessible and service is top.
