I really had a delightful experience in this pub. The food was delicious and fresh. I cannot put the freshness and delicious taste of the steak into words. The service was amazing and I felt welcomed.

On a work trip and was surprised to find this cute little place. Service was beyond amazing and food was equally amazing! Waitress were extremely friendly and checked in on us often. Prices were very reasonable and well worth the portions given. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. It was cozy and quaint 😌 loved the decorations and the lighting ✨️ 😍
The duck potien was really good, tender and smokey 👌 the mussels was tasty as well - floating in soup 🍲 and served with french fries.
They have a great patio, but it was cold 🥶 at the time of my visit. The indoor seating is comfortable with cozy seating and chairs combined for each table. There were also bar stools. The space was a bit tight inside esp between tables.

While wandering downtown, unsure of where to dine amidst the plethora of choices, we stumbled upon Bâton Rouge. This decision, albeit initially met with some skepticism due to our general preference for non-franchise establishments, turned out to be a delightful surprise. Opting to try a variety of dishes, we settled on the ribs, Caesar salad, and spinach dip, intending to share them amongst ourselves. Each dish was a testament to the kitchen's ability to deliver well-prepared and flavorful meals, indicative of a high standard of quality. The ribs were succulent and fell off the bone, the Caesar salad was crisp and fresh with a perfect dressing-to-lettuce ratio, and the spinach dip was creamy and rich.
Despite these high marks, the overall experience didn't quite reach the pinnacle of a five-star rating, primarily because the extraordinary value and taste combination we reserve for such accolades was slightly lacking. However, the gap was narrow, with each element of the meal impressing us significantly. The service complemented the food excellently, characterized by a courteous and attentive staff that ensured our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The promptness with which our orders were taken and delivered was noteworthy, eliminating any potential frustration that can accompany dining out.
While there were no significant shortcomings to note, and our visit to Bâton Rouge was thoroughly enjoyable, it was the minor details that held back our experience from reaching that coveted five-star perfection. Nonetheless, it's clear that Bâton Rouge excels in providing a satisfying dining experience, from the quality of its dishes to the efficiency of its service, making it a worthy stop for anyone finding themselves undecided in the downtown area.

We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and helpful with our questions. We were served our drinks first which were fairly good. Our food came together and most of our dishes were tasty and well plated. The two salmon dishes looked like they were thrown together without much thought but tasted well. The vegetables were also not seasoned and were difficult to eat, especially the big chunks of cauliflower.

We are Baton Rouge regulars and this was another great night eating out. In this case, we had just seen a show at PDA and we ate late. despite this late hour, the service was spot on. BR always have great staff, this is our experience. The food was very good but this was not our favorite BR, (it was late) Jared saved the night with amazing service and a smile, as he closed up for the night!

The place is beautiful. I had a good service: however, there was not much a variety of main grilled dishes for a grill restaurant. I also ordered a cocktail named the Eclat des Iles but had cero alcohol. It was supppsed to have Havana Club rum.

Visited here numerous times for beer!
The staffs are always kind and give you good recommendations. I personally do not like IPA so they usually recommend me white or blonde beers! The price is also reasonable! I wish they have more food varieties but I am happy with what they have currently.

Great bar, nice staff, great beers. Please update the playlist though, it's super white and old (I am white and old too don't get me wrong!).. When we were there today we heard AC/DC, Guns n Roses, and Sweet Home Alabama.. Montreal bars need to put more effort into their playslists please! Hiphop, electronic music, please, NTS Radio, Dj mixes, even Spotify, anything.
Otherwise great and will be back for more lovely beers and lovely staff.

Benelux has been a favourite microbrewery for me for over fifteen years. They're conveniently close to McGill. They have a nice warm ambiance and the music isn't too loud—it does not at all interfere with conversation. Best of all, their beers are delicious. I think they made me start to enjoy beer really. Their snacks are pricey but tasty. If you're a fan of olives, try those! Their hotdogs are popular—large with a crunchy bun. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Great place to meet a friend or colleague, and an ideal choice for a first date.

Great place for beer lovers. They have the weekly specials.
Only thing is for parking if you go before 9 it’s only pay parking on SHERBROOKE.
It’s a classic in the city for local beers.
They have WiFi so good one for tourists.

Amazing night out at #lebalconcabaret for a live Disco show! The Saint James Church is an intimate and unique venue. You literally walk through the church to get to the alcohol LOL. Mezzanine seating is 3 rows of actual church pews with cushions at $55 per ticket or you can purchase floor seats including a 3 course meal. A perfect night of music, dancing and drinks.

The restaurant cabaret show is located in the church.
We took the dinner show, so we are expected to be there not later than 7:30, since the show starts at 8:30pm
Our waiter, Francois-Xavier was very friendly and make sure everything was at our taste. The serving team in general was very efficient and has good dynamic. We enjoyed the ambiance.
The table is very small, be careful for not knocking things down.
We took the table hôte deal: The food is tasty with good spices.
We mainly went for the performance which was outstanding!
We Will definitely go back for other shows!

Enjoyed our time for MTLÀTABLE here! First: service was great and attentive (always refilling water for instance). The food was also great and considering the price, it was so worth it. It was very filling. I’m definitely coming back for drinks too, as their bar looked magnificent. Decor and atmosphere are so aesthetically pleasing.

Ate outside on a great evening filled with Jazz! The meals were great, wine recommendations perfect and the creme brulee still warm on the inside. All this topped only by the wait staff, who were very attentive and personable!! Awesome visit.

If I could leave more than 5 star review for the service, I would! Catherine was unbelievable and the ultimate example of EXCELLENT customer service. I wanted to treat my parents to dinner after a show they were seeing at PDA, for their 60th wedding anniversary, and wanted to treat them for dinner. Catherine worked with me to try to find a way that this could happen. She offered many different solutions and followed up at every turn. It was impressive!!! When my parents showed up at the restaurant, she treated them with white gloves and made sure their experience was memorable. THANK YOU Catherine for the unforgettable experience. Linda

I am really sorry to the owner for his selection of an incompetent and arrogant manager that was working on December 21st. We had the worst experience ever both from a service point of view and food quality. The waiter that she stated that she is also the manager was extremely unprofessional in many sense (communication and service). The food in general was of a lesser quality than a 4stars restaurant. Clearly I will never step in this restaurant in the future. I feel very bad for the customers if the quality and service is the same and also feel bad for the owner for his poor choice of manager !!! I gave a low tip for the poor experience we had and we got insulted in public for it, she told us that we are not allowed in the restaurant in the future!!! As if I will even consider it. I am stunned and surprise how did they get the 4stars

The location of the place is pleasant, particularly when seated near the windows.
Overall, the food quality is satisfactory, but the portions at POKE are insufficient. We found the dishes lacking in salt and sauce. The bowls are oversized compared to standard plates and portion sizes (personal opinion). Despite this, the service was excellent, although they seemed understaffed with only one person attending to everyone (who was very attentive to us). Overall, it's still recommended.

Food always pleases, clean, great ambiance, staff were all amazing. Great selection of cushion dishes. Good verity if vegetarian and gf options too.
Street parking. The washroom was very poke and had a super low ceiling so 3/5 for overall atmosphere.

One of my favourite places in Montreal serving Asian food, conveniently located in the heart of the city. It gets packed during peak hours of lunch and dinner but after the crowd thins, you can enjoy the place and the well designed interiors and relaxing lighting.
Service is excellent, the servers will explain which items are popular- and they didn’t disappoint.
The quantity of food is just right, not too large but not too small either. It’s not your typical Chinese restaurant with huge servings. An order is good enough for one person. The place and the ambience makes up for it and sometimes, a nicely designed, modern but not overly fancy Asian restaurant is just what you need!

It was nice atmosphere
My order got ready quickly
I ordered Won Ton soup, it was so delicious i suggest it.
And for main dish i ordered Stir_fry,this one was perfect too
To my mind it was good for 2 person.
In total i like it

i have eaten at Sesame only a few times & had take-out twice.
I am pleasantly surprised each time. They make the absolute best dumplings i have had in the Montreal area. Fresh & light! Very tasty. Their service is impeccable & polite. The atmosphere is Asian chic & airy without being stuffy. It is not inexpensive but i feel it is worth the price!

I stumbled upon this sushi gem recently, and I can't stop raving about it! This place has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious sushi in town. The food here is incredibly fresh, and each bite is bursting with flavor. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or just looking for a tasty meal, this place won't disappoint.
One of the things that really stands out about this sushi shop is the value for money. Despite the top-notch quality of their ingredients, the prices here are very reasonable. You get a lot of bang for your buck, which is always a plus.
In addition to their dine-in experience, they also offer catering services, which I've had the pleasure of trying at a corporate event. The sushi platters were a hit among everyone, and it added a special touch to the occasion. So whether you're hosting a corporate gathering or a special event, this place has you covered.
What's more, I find myself frequenting this spot regularly for weekday lunches. Whether I dine in or grab takeout, the experience is always consistent and satisfying. It's become a highlight of my week!
Overall, I can't recommend this sushi spot enough. From the freshness of the food to the affordability and excellent catering options, it's a winner in my book. If you're in the mood for some top-quality sushi, look no further than this place!

We visit this place with our work colleagues at least twice a week. The sushi here is absolutely addictive! The blend of textures from the fish, panko, and avocado is simply perfect. I would give it a rating of 1000/10 and highly recommend it! Staff is always smiling and nice.

Came across this place by accident. Wasn't sure what to expect. But really liked the experience. Not much in the way of atmosphere, it's pretty much a takeout place. But the few tables it has were empty when we arrived and full when we left. Seattle roll and
Mango Tango were the favourites but everything was great and fresh.

I found this place mediocre at best. The food was yummy, but not top notch. Our waiter kept going outside to smoke and therefore was like the wind, here and gone again, taking awhile to get our bill and good service. Tho he was friendly.
Best thing was our sangria, liked the rose!
If you're looking for a nice comfort food breakfast place, this is it.

Honestly so good. The burrata pizza is worth it ($29). 2 of us shared a pizza and a salad ($13) and it was more than enough food.
The service was excellent. The vibes are beautiful.
On a Wednesday, you didn’t need a reservation. On a weekend, make a reservation.
Chocolate mousse was very good too.

For some reason, I had higher expectations when it came to the food and ambiance. BUT the decor was nice and beautiful.
Food 3/5 - taste and presentation.
The Margherita Pizza does not qualify as a real Margherita, you’ll definitely find better elsewhere. The Rigatoni were really not up to my taste, something was simply off with that dish, thus why I give them 2* - maybe 3* to be generous. The grilled octopus was a little dry as I guess it was cooked earlier and just left sitting in a container since it was not warm nor hot despite being in the “hot appetizer section” and the presentation was not very appealing (see picture). I would probably not come back considering I could get tastier food elsewhere but at least I have it a try.

Such a cute spot! The wait to order was a little long to order even with a reservation, but it was still a great time. The food was amazing, even as leftovers the next day (Burrata and 5 cheese in the picture). The drinks were perfect too, my friend and I agree that we would go back just for that passion fruit mocktail.
Again, the place can get really busy so it’s a bit tight between tables, but the decor is just beautiful.

The food was very good! The Neapolitan style pizza in the wood oven was excellent, and the pasta was truly delicious. Given that, the price was a bit high (I would say 20 percent more than similar restaurants.) The ambient was by no means Italian, with so many artificial flowers around and shiny gold chairs. Also, not a very vegetarian-friendly restaurant.
