My favourite Portuguese spot! Super cosy, food is always tasty, and the service is great. Prices are fair too. It can get a bit noisy, but that just adds to the vibe. Seats are limited, so better to book!

I've been coming here for years and it's always delicious! Family owned restaurant, traditional Portuguese food, comforting and amazingly good. It's really affordable and you can have live music on Saturday nights.

A hidden Portuguese restaurant. Happy
To have tried this restaurant! Their dishes are pretty big and everything was amazing. Would definitely go back there for their lamb and their seafood dishes.

One of the best restaurants Ive been to! The food is amazing, always fresh, and feels like home-made, especially the baiga bharta. It’s not oily at all and the portions are perfect.
The owners are very welcoming. I highly recommend.

This place truly reminded me of home - simple, comforting, and full of flavor. Every dish had just the right amount of spices and was delicious in the most genuine way.
What made it even more impressive is that all of it was made without animal products. That takes real skill and creativity, and it absolutely showed in the taste.
The owners were also incredibly hospitable,
Highly recommend for anyone craving heartwarming and comforting food

The family who run this restaurant were an absolute delight to interact with. Incredible food, the mango lassi and pista kulfi are spot on. Definitely recommend grabbing the Baigan Bharta.

Wow! The thali is such a deal and a great way to try a bunch of different dishes on the menu. Everything (even the side salad) was delicious and made with care. We also ordered the chai which was delicious. The owners are knowledgable and passionate about vegan food.
We will be back for sure!

had a wonderful experience at Hindustani Thali in Montreal! The food was truly authentic and reminded me of home – full of flavor, fresh, and cooked with care. The service was excellent, attentive, and welcoming. What stood out the most was the owner, such a kind, friendly, and down-to-earth person who made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the passion they put into both the food and the hospitality.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Indian food and a warm atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped by chance at this wonderful halal place , I can’t recommend it enough. Warm welcome and the people working there are attentive and friendly.
Coscous is absolutely delicious . The vegetarian pizza is very tasty too. This is a rare find in Montreal that nails what our mothers would make at home: comforting food that’s full of flavour and love.
Best part? The prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.
For anyone who enjoys home-food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you will love it here.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We randomly discovered this restaurant and I honestly couldn't be happier! The food is SO tasty, it literally feels as if you're eating traditional home made food. The portions are BIG (we had left overs for two days!) and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

I ordered from here for the first time. The lasagna at first look appeared like it was going to be good with a lot of cheese on top, however, under it was all noodles (way too much) and not much sauce or meat. That might be the way you like your lasagna, to each their own. The poutine was not with curd cheese, not that they said what kind of cheese they use - maybe that's the problem. I will not be ordering from here again.

I love this restaurant! The staff are extraordinary, and I love having so many well executed options when we order here: superb couscous, excellent roast chicken, and I we love the pizzas. A Rosemont classic !

Following the positive reviews online, I ordered the onigiris, and they were disappointing. They were almost entirely rice, which is fine in some cases. However, they were overcooked and tasted extremely under-seasoned.
Heli - 2 months ago
This is a very different type of high end coffee shop, and the uniqueness of it makes it very appealing. It has a Japanese feel to it, the onigiri lunch options and miso soup are excellent, and the siphon style coffee is also top notch; its also something I've never seen elsewhere in Montreal. New owners have taken over, and the quality seems to have been maintained. Overall a great place to sit, eat and have coffee.

my most favorite cafe in Montreal ☕️ I love the architectural space alone, it’s perfect for meeting friends or studying. I always get their soups and bowl or onigiri combo, all the flavors are so comforting and delicious. I tried a chai latte the first time but I don’t really recommend it, my go-to is their specialty syphon coffee !

A near perfect cafe: great coffee (the cortado was amazing), bright and spacious, good and unique food options, places to work and also to relax—reading in a hammock anyone? Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I tried Le Falco recently. It’s a nice café with great potential, but there’s room for improvement.
First, the positive: all my stars go to the atmosphere. It’s a great spot to work or have lunch. There are plenty of seats and outlets, and it’s easy to focus.
Now for the negatives. The barista at the cash could have been much friendlier and more helpful. When we arrived, the place was empty. The counter is set up at a 90-degree angle, with one side for food and the other for the cash register. Since there was no lineup, we went straight to the cash and completely missed the food display. The cashier didn’t mention any food options, and I only noticed them when I walked toward the washroom.
There were a few pastries near the register, so my friend asked about one. The barista just pointed and said, “It’s that,” without explaining anything. It came off as rude.
We were also excited to try the siphon coffee. She just poured us pre-brewed siphon coffee, which took away from the experience. I didn’t like the taste either. They do have other options.
We stayed a couple of hours and enjoyed working on our laptops. It’s a great space, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

Takeout counter for poke bowls and some sushi dishes. Tried the salmon bowl which came with a tasty miso soup with seaweed, tofu and mushrooms. Lots of variety in the bowl with different salad and crunchy texture.

For anyone who seeks high-quality, enjoyable sushi experience, Coupe de Thon comes with my enthusiastic recommendation. They’re a cut above the rest, especially when it comes to takeout. Their Rosemont roll is an absolute must-try!

If you want sushi with reasonable price, this is the place that you can never miss. The sushi is top-notch with fresh ingredients and their homemade mayo sauce is always a hit. All the poke bowls are recommended as well, my favorite is the poulet poke one!

A bit pricey by really delicious! I ordered the Benedict and their recipe is on point. The potatoes on the side were ok but could use more flavor. The salad was good though. The vibe of the place is a bit like casual dining. You grab a seat and the shop table service but also have a counter to go. They have a variety of beverages and some other menu options as well. I can recommend this spot if in the area and around for a brunch. Wifi is like non existent though so not good for working.

We found this place after 4 days of our holiday and have returned every day since. The food is amazing and the fresh muffins and cakes are some of the best I’ve ever had.
The coffee is served at the correct temperature where some places we visited served it semi warm.
Don’t miss out you will want to return every day. We are leaving Saturday after 9 days my only regret is that we didn’t find it on our first day.

This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a diverse menu and dishes bursting with flavor. The ambiance is warm and inviting, While the food is good, the service could be more attentive and efficient to truly elevate the overall experience. With a bit of improvement, it has the potential to be outstanding!
