5 Star Rating Tried out the 5 course tasting menu for 105$. The service and the food were top notch. My favourite dish of the night was the stripped bass dish. It was so fresh with the apple and shiso. The apple consume was so tasty and complimented the fish so well!!! The squash ravioli was also yummy! The brown butter sauce complimented the squash filling. The beef dish and dessert was also very well executed. I can tell that each dish was well thought out and meticulously prepared. Would definitely come back again!!

5 Star Rating Our most delicious dinner in Montreal. I am surprised that this place is not in the Michelin guide at least, since the serving dishes, taste and service are at a high level. And this is at relatively inexpensive prices. Scallops with shiitake, beef with snails and veal tartare were super delicious. I was just ready to lick the plates. I tried out the 5 course menu for 105 CAD and it was amazing amount of food! Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the waitress, but thank her so much for a wonderful evening.

5 Star Rating This evening was absolutely impeccable. For my birthday, my husband and I both took the 5 service menu paired with the European wines. Each meal and detail was perfectly balanced and thought out. I was not a fan or all the wines but they were all intelligently matched. One I could not drink and they immediately changed it even if I had said it was not an issue. They also adapted the menu to fit the fact that I cannot eat red meat. The sommelière Isabelle was fantastic and so were every staff member we interacted with. What an amazing experience and we will be back!

5 Star Rating Went here for a business lunch. The setting was good, the service was attentive and not overwhelming. Portions of food was adequate and was filling. They have some local wines which was average and ok tasty. Parking isn't so bad if it's not during festival seasons. I would recommend for an easy business lunch or a little treat for yourself.

4 Star Rating We passed in front of this restaurant quite a few times as we live nearby. we were looking for something different to eat so we decided to give it a try. Actually Lia had already been with some colleagues from her previous employment. The interior decor is quite simple, the menu heavily favours combo options . We decided to go with the crispy chicken and rice as well as the pho. Service was OK. We kind of wish that we felt more welcome. Accessing the restaurant by foot is quite easy. Parking is a different story. if you’re lucky you may find street parking on Saint Catherine St. otherwise there are a few parking lots available in the area.

4 Star Rating I was highly impressed with the quality of the food. The vietnamese pork chop with white rice was pretty good. The runny fried egg really adds this authentic feel to it. The fried banana was just ok. The service was a little bit slow as the place was packed with customers going in and out at a good pace.

4 Star Rating I visited for dinner. The service is very fast and the staff are attentive. I ordered the chicken and shrimp rice rolls. They were delicious, especially with the accompanying peanut butter sauce. I also ordered pho ga (chicken pho) but I was surprised that the chicken was fried chicken that was cut into pieces. My experience with chicken pho from the many pho restaurants I've been to in different cities in the US and Europe that the chicken comes in thin slices and boiled rather than fried. I also didn't expect the soup to have vegetables like carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli. Although I think it was healthy to have them, but again this was unlike the previous similar dishes I had in other Vietnamese restaurants. Also, the broth was kinda bland. I had to add soy sauce to make it a bit flavorful. The prices were okay.

2 Star Rating I went last night with 3 other people. Only the vegetarian person got food poisoning (staphylococcus) it kicked in for them on the walk to the bar. They were extremely ill. The kitchen failed to properly clean/sanitize their utensils or cooking area. Causing the vegetarian person in the group to be the only sick one out of us 4. Service was fast and polite Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. It did taste good. Minus the staphylococcus

5 Star Rating It's a downtown delight that not only offers a stellar service and chic ambience but also surprises with its reasonable prices. The attentive staff, sporting smiles, made us feel truly welcome. The sommelier ensured our glasses were never empty. The seafood stir fry served on trendy dinnerware was spot on. We loved the stylish, softly lit vibe - it was the perfect backdrop for an intimate evening. It's the perfect spot to enjoy an early dinner before heading to an event in the vicinity.

5 Star Rating Couldn't recommend it more. Beautiful restaurant serving amazing, authentic food and run by a kind Vietnamese family. A great place to expand your experience with Vietnamese cuisine - try the 7 beef specialty and the chao tom, grilled shrimp wrapped around sugarcane. Everything was super fresh, the meats were cooked perfectly and the flavour was to die for. The traditional components of the dishes e.g. fish sauce and bun (vermicelli) were spot on, while they also put their own stamp on other components. Very reasonable for the quality and level of service.

5 Star Rating The poutine was delectable, gravy and cheesy sauce over fresh, thick cuts of just-fried fries. Patient staff, well-managed (especially to the clueless tourists in front of me). Poutines and fries come in small and large sizes: shareable. Popular with locals and us foreigners. Burgers and hot dogs a staple too. Fun, casual, bus your own tray. Nice spot on the epic Saint Laurent Avenue.

5 Star Rating The poutine is worth it all!! It’s a hole in the wall in a colorful (seedyish, former red light area) part of Montreal, but the poutine is all that! Perfect fries, melty cheese curds, great gravy. The hotdogs are just plain dogs, but the steamed buns were delicious and the slaw on top rounded it all out. Yes, I was sober as a church mouse. (This place is a popular late night spot. ) It is cash only. They’ve been in business for over a hundred years and I’m sure it’s because of the poutine. It’s a dive, and there are no pool tables. It’s just a great experience!

2 Star Rating The food took HOURS to come...and we still had people that didn't have our food....I have no idea what happened but I think they need to train their staff a little bit more... something went completely wrong at our stay... It was the first day of our waitress and she was so sweet and nice. She just didn't get enough training or wasn't paired with someone with experience to help her. It just felt unfair to her honestly....I felt bad for her, she did the best she could. I would avoid this place unfortunately, but if you're reading this waitress, you didn't do anything wrong you did the best you could and don't let anyone put you down, I really blame the owner of this restaurant that really let you and us down.

5 Star Rating Best crepes we've had in Montreal. You can sit at the bar and watch them make them right in front of you. The savoury buckwheat crepe is buttery and crispy around the edges and cooked to perfection. Although it's 100% buckwheat flour, it doesn't have an overly strong buckwheat flavour. The dessert crepes are also a delight. The nutella s'more crepe was so decadent! Well priced and excellent value.

The galette was buttery and crispy on the edge. I took the « complete », it had a generous amount of ham and cheese as well a an egg. Popping the egg yolk was really yummy Don’t forget to pair your galette with a glass of cider I would recommend trying the place if you are at the central

5 Star Rating I tried multiple smoke meat poutine over the years and this one was the best I had so far. The meat was meaty and moist, the sauce was delicious and most importantly it didn't feel greasy. I loved the addition on mustard and pickles. It shows that they thought about the dish and tried to counter the usual greasiness a poutine would give especially with the addition of the smoke meat. Delicious! I recommend it.
