Like taking a quick trip to France. Brunch dishes were beautifully plated and perfectly portioned. All fresh and tasty. Service was slow as it was a busy sunny Saturday, we needed to remind the waiter a few times of what was missing from our order. Reservation recommended!

Came here for brunch this time. Food is tasty and light, thick bacon is not greasy. Salmon tartar has special herb in the mix, delightful details in the home baked bread. Coffee was nice too, and there’s daily special fruit/vege drink that was super refreshing. Spaces are well organized and comfortable. Quality service and nice staff.

La Fabrique is such a special place for us! ❤️ My boyfriend and I have been coming here since the beginning of our relationship, and it’s full of wonderful memories. ✨ The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy brunch. ☕🥐
What makes this place truly stand out is the creativity of the chef 👨🍳—the menu changes every three weeks 📅, and every single time, the food exceeds our expectations! 🤩 We've tried so many different dishes, and each one has been an incredible experience. 🍽️👌
No doubt, La Fabrique will always be our go-to spot whenever we have brunch plans. 🥂 Highly recommended for anyone who loves delicious, innovative food in a great atmosphere! 🎉💛

I went on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday celebration. Having a reservation is better. I got the steak meal and got to say it was excellent. They also have a homemade bacon which is a must. As for the portion, there wasn't much. The service was one of the best I have ever seen. The waiter who was the guy with the glasses was super quick, attentive and got us what we needed without us even asking. The washroom was very nice as well.

Brunch was excellent. No doubt, I will return. The menu changes often so I just hope next time I get the same level of delicious options.
I found portions to be on the small size but the flavours are on point.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy, although the metal chairs are not comfortable.
Staff is good - friendly and helpful. However, this is the type of restaurants that after 1h30 min will want you to move out your table, so not the best place to catch up with friends.

Overall: 5.75/10
Food: 6/10
Service: 5/10
Atmosphere 6/10
If you’re considering this restaurant but also looking at other options I would suggest going elsewhere. If you’re in a bind and just want some french food, I would say it’s an alright choice.
We came here last minute as was surprised we were able to make a reservation for 8 for Saturday evening.
Some of us had the table d’hote while others ordered a la a carte. The overall consensus was the food seemed a bit underwhelming, from the appetizers like the tomato soup, onion soup, salmon gravlax, the dishes were alright nothing special. As for the mains some had the fish of the day, others the steak and some had the bone marrow, we all agreed that the taste was alright. When it came time to for dessert it was more of the same the cakes and tarts were just average.
As for the service, it was the weakest element of the night, from missing desserts to bringing us dishes or coffees we didn’t order, it just seemed like a big mess. And to top it off our waiter poured the sauce on the dish onto the table without noticing. It was a disappointing experience.

Nice location and really spacious, service was great but found the food to be a bit too basic, taste was ok but plate a bit bland, eggs were cooked really good though. If you’re looking for a nice looking spot and an easy brunch this is a solid option but you can get more for the same price in other brunch places.

Beautiful establishment. Great atmosphere. Great owners.
Had the calmars and the shrimp cocktail. Not a fan of tomato sauces in general which came with calamari. The melted butter had a beautiful flavor though, but didn't merge well for my palate with the seafood. The calmars were cooked to perfection. Was not the typical chewy plastic feel that you get in most restaurants. I may just be more prone to the greek style of cream sauces over tomato. Most of my friends enjoyed the Onion soup and the Tartare. We were hoping for the Lobster Ravioli but they weren't serving it at that moment during our special event. Super disappointed but I'm sure we will be back when it is back on the menu. The Pinot Noir was my Mom's Favourite over the Bourgogne.

Interesting experience! You receive small portions of food on a big crepe that you use to grab the vegetables and meat. The menu is filled with diverse tasty Ethiopian dishes. (the prices are pretty high though) The waiters were very kind and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Would absolutely recommend the Doro Watt, chicken with berbéré sauce.

I had the saute sole fish filet (yeassa watt) and the spinach sauteed with onions and garlic (Gommen) which was very good. The Injeria was nice, but I got full fast from the bread. Wish I had someone else to share the Injeria with. Sadly, I couldn't finish it all by myself. The fish was nice and lite, not spicy for me. The spinach was nice as well. The service was great. Very attentive staff. I received a nice hot towel for my hands as a refreshment before the start of the dish. Very nice service.

A beautiful restaurant with great food and a very friendly staff. It was a bit slow between receiving our appetizer and the shared plate, but there was a large group that were also being served at the same time and the staff apologized multiple times for the delay. The drinks were delicious, the food was hot and flavourful, and everything was priced well for what you received. Will definitely be returning!

This was my third time going. Since learning about Le Nil Bleu it has become a must go restaurant every time I come to Montréal. Food is fabulous, service is always really nice, atmosphere is relaxed and fun. If I had any complaint, it would be that some of the tables can be a bit crowded, but it's a small restaurant, which is part of the charm, so it's no big deal. I only mention it because I am 6 feet four inches tall (1.93m) so with some tables my chair feels like I'm in the way, but it has never seemed to be a problem to staff or others, so maybe I'm just over thinking it? Upshot is, this place is absolutely wonderful. Also, don't sleep on their speciality cocktails. I'm particularly fond of the Mango Mule.

We ordered the vegan tasting sampler for two. There were four smaller appetizers and five larger mains. We loved all of the appetizers but were not as keen on the mains. To be fair, I think the meat tasting menu would have been better and I was keen to try it, but my dining companion wanted the vegan so I agreed. I'm sure the food is worth five stars but I'm just not vegan.

If you're looking for a unique coffee experience, Mamie Clafoutis is an absolute gem! Their coffee maker is a work of art, brewing the perfect cup every time, rich in flavor and incredibly smooth. The vibe of the shop itself is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends.
Now, let’s talk about the Oh Mon Dieu pastry. WOW. It’s a decadent, melt-in-your-mouth treat that’s unlike anything I’ve had before. The layers, the sweetness, the texture – it’s all perfection in one bite. This pastry alone is worth the visit!

The staff was friendly and the pastries are good. Our visit was disappointing because we were expecting tables and space to eat indoors. There are several boxed sandwiches & desserts too but we were expecting a fresher feel all around.

Whenever we’re in Montreal, Mamie Clafoutis is a staple stop for us to pick up a selection of delicious pastries to bring home to BC. Their pastries are consistently high-quality and incredibly flavorful, with each bite capturing the authentic taste of French baking. The standout items include their croissants, which are perfectly flaky and buttery, along with unique offerings like pistachio and almond croissants.
What truly sets this place apart, beyond the excellent pastries, is the customer service. The staff are always warm, helpful, and make the experience even better by assisting with selections and packaging up everything carefully for travel. They make you feel welcome, and you can tell they really care about their customers’ experience. Mamie Clafoutis is truly a gem in Montreal for anyone who loves top-notch pastries and wonderful service. Highly recommend stopping by!

This was the best Spanish food that we had in a while. We went for a 4 day trip to Montreal and thank god we found this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing with Spanish music as background but low enough that you could have a conversation. Plus, the service was amazing everyone was super attentive to the point that we never asked for more water or sangria they were always on top of it. And they answered all of our questions.
We order the Valencia Discovery Menu, and it was perfect. It has a bit of everything. A octopus salad, cod croquettes, grilled shrimp and grilled squid as appetizers. And for the main dish a Paella Valenciana. Everything was savory and with very good portions. For drinks we went for a large Red Sangria Pitcher and it was well balanced. So good that we order 2 😂.
Overall our experience was excellent. Whenever we are back to Montreal we will be back. The only thing is that they didn’t had the live show but tbh it was not needed.

Fantastic little garden with wholesome staff and great food options!
It's a bit of a walk from Metro stations, but it was still worth the effort. The menu may seem small at first, but it does actually offer enough variety for everyone.
The friendly environment paired with the quality of food, makes it feel like a home. Do try it!

We were craving pastel and decided to try Acajou Restaurant. Unfortunately, I left still craving pastel.
The taste was nothing like a traditional Brazilian pastel — it felt more like a fried dough with cheese inside, lacking flavor and crunch. The pão de queijo also didn’t resemble the real Brazilian version at all.
Service was slow, and the food took even longer to come out, even though we only ordered two pastéis and a portion of pão de queijo.
Another downside is the smoke from the kitchen, which spreads throughout the entire restaurant.
Overall, my experience wasn’t great. Maybe it’s worth a visit if you’re going for the barbecue, but if you’re looking for good pastel, this is definitely not the place.

I came here with both my parents hoping to eat a good piece of meat. And that’s exactly what we did.
We ordered a plate that included pork, beef, chicken and chorizo with beans and rice. It was very well done, everything was juicy and tasty. I loved it.
We also ordered Pastel with cheese and with meat. The cheese one was really good, we kept ordering them. The beef one on the other side I felt like it was missing spice. Maybe adding some rice or a sauce so it feels richer because it just felt like cooked ground beef with salt.
The Manga juice was delicious, exactly what I expected. Sweet and refreshing.
One of the workers came to our table and let us taste his special spicy sauce and it was very very good.
The ambiance felt good, like a family restaurant you would visit after and event or to celebrate something. The music selection was good too, everyone was laughing and having a good time. The tables could be a little more further from eachother thought.
Even if it’s a little expensive (20$/28$), I would recommend and I hope to come back cause it was delicious and if the food is delicious I don’t mind the price.
Thank you!

First off, this place serves vegan sushi. I went here for my birthday dinner and you really need a reservation. We ordered the omakase, which comes with your choice of appetizers/dessert and the chef's choice of sushi. It's a cozy little place and everything was absolutely delicious.
Don't expect those small makis with just cucumber or avocado, these are rolls full of different ingredients that mixes texture and flavor that taste so good together. They also made a vegan version of salmon made of konjac and I really enjoyed that too. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is super lovely. And if you've eaten at other sushi places, the price is pretty reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

To be completely honest didn’t realize it was a vegan restaurant until we were seated, but we were pleasantly surprised. The presentation was amazing and everything tasted great as well. The cocktail and wine selection were all fantastic and worth a visit alone.

Was recently there for my wife’s birthday. We had 2 appetizers and 4 different sushi rolls.
For apps we had Agedashi Tofu, Tataki (soy steak) and for sushi we had Kamikaze, Croque Madame, Mr. Croquent and Fried Avocado. Everything was amazing but the Tataki was the star of the night.
The staff was also super helpful and friendly.

Modern and trendy! The restaurant has a really nice ambiance, and the service was great. The servers take time to explain each dish, which was informative. We took the degastation menu for $49/person. The food was pretty outstanding, especially the Tiradito (the "salmon" was exactly like salmon). The assortment or sushi was great, too, for a first tasting. Highly recommend the momochoco for dessert. Overall, it was a great night out with friends and for people who are vegan or pregnant.

Absolutely loved this place! We tried their tasting menu, and the experience was truly delightful with generous portion sizes. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dessert Chocomomo was a standout – delicious and melted in our mouths. A fantastic experience overall. Will surely revisit.

My sister and I stumbled onto this place yesterday and we are SO happy that we did! The restaurant was really beautifully decorated, it was fancy and relaxing, and really great for a date or one-on-one experience as you could have a conversation without it being too loud - overall, super cozy chic vibes. Our waiter Rubel was so friendly, attentive and had the greatest recommendations for us too. Huge portions, incredibly flavourful, fluffy naan... My sister is vegetarian and I love lamb so there were many options for both of us. The food was honestly very fresh and delicious, we even had enough for lunches the next day! Honestly all in all, we are already planning to go back and bring our families because it was a wonderful and delicious experience... Thank you Rubel, can't wait to see you next time!

My friend and I shared a couple of dishes last night and loved everything! We had Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, garlic naan and basmati rice. So delicious! For dessert we had chai and split the cardamom creme brulee. We would have liked more of a cardamom flavour but the creme brulee itself was very good and a generous portion. Our server (didn't get his name) was very good too. Would absolutely come back here next time I'm in Montreal!

So being Indian, northern Indian cuisine is in my blood. When I go away I am happy to see Indian restaurants, as I miss the home cooking. Guru Bistro was disappointing. The restaurant has nice decor & excellent service. The food on the other hand was a big let down. First up I ordered Samosa Chana (which really is Samosa Chaat). Not enough tamarind, mint sauce or masalas. For main it was Bhindi & Malai Kofta. Bhindi was very under cooked & again that authentic flavor was missing. Malai Kofta did have descent flavor but had too much sugar. Paranthas & Garlic naan were excellent though. The service is the real reason for the 3 star rating. Hoping to find better Indian food during my stay in Montreal.
