Delicious brunch!! We had the donuts to start (should have had these for dessert instead). Followed up with the ham brioche and scrambled eggs with Mexican beans. Impeccable, attentive service. Will definitely come back!

My girls picked this beautiful spot for a birthday brunch, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the food was absolutely incredible.
The pancakes were perfectly soft and fluffy, and the apple sauce was delicious — such a great combo!
Our server was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome.
A wonderful place for brunch — I highly recommend it!

Breakfast at La Fabrique was a lovely way to start the day. The food was delicious, with creative flavors that made each dish stand out. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
The only downside for me was the iced coffee—unfortunately, it just wasn’t to my taste. But aside from that, everything else was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and I’d definitely consider coming back the next time I’m in Montreal.
A solid breakfast spot with great food, just not the place I’d go for my morning coffee fix.

I had my birthday brunch with my girls here, the waitress Shena is wonderful. We received the best service and the warmest welcome from her. The food is great as usual, highly recommend the French toast and the apple purée pancake, the beef shoulder plate is also amazing. The birthday candle really makes my day!

Hands down, one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in Montreal! I’m so glad we decided to try La Fabrique on this trip—they truly impressed us with their food.
As first-time visitors, we went with our server’s recommendations: the croissant with braised lamb, the waffle with tuna tataki, and the beef tartare. Every single bite was perfect—fresh ingredients, well-seasoned dishes, great textures, and beautifully balanced flavors.
Heard that they rotate their menu every three months, which gives us even more reason to come back the next time we’re in Montreal. Highly recommended!

It appears from other reviews that service is unpredictable at times. Our head waiter was actually outstanding and attentive and very professional. He was friendly and made wonderful suggestions. We have fell apart was that any other server that assisted paid no attention to his seat assignments and had to verbally call out over and over again what the dishes were so we constantly had to figure out who had what.
The food though was outstanding in we loved every single part of the meal including desert and would certainly come back again.
We had a table on the patio and the weather was so nice we absolutely enjoyed the ambiance.
Merci!

If you’re considering this restaurant but also looking at other options I would suggest going elsewhere. If you’re in a bind and just want some french food, I would say it’s an alright choice.
We came here last minute as was surprised we were able to make a reservation for 8 for Saturday evening.
Some of us had the table d’hote while others ordered a la a carte. The overall consensus was the food seemed a bit underwhelming, from the appetizers like the tomato soup, onion soup, salmon gravlax, the dishes were alright nothing special. As for the mains some had the fish of the day, others the steak and some had the bone marrow, we all agreed that the taste was alright. When it came time to for dessert it was more of the same the cakes and tarts were just average.
As for the service, it was the weakest element of the night, from missing desserts to bringing us dishes or coffees we didn’t order, it just seemed like a big mess. And to top it off our waiter poured the sauce on the dish onto the table without noticing. It was a disappointing experience.

I recently went to Café Cherrier with one of my good friends, and it turned out to be one of those meals you remember long after. Nestled in the Plateau, the place has that effortlessly elegant French vibe—cozy inside, with a terrace that’s perfect for people-watching. We shared a bottle of wine from their excellent selection (French, of course), and every dish we tried felt like a little trip to Paris. The onion soup was rich and comforting, and the steak tartare was spot-on. It’s the kind of restaurant where you linger over dessert and conversation, and we did just that.

Nice location and really spacious, service was great but found the food to be a bit too basic, taste was ok but plate a bit bland, eggs were cooked really good though. If you’re looking for a nice looking spot and an easy brunch this is a solid option but you can get more for the same price in other brunch places.

I’ve been going to the Café Cherrier for years and years. It’s well-located, with friendly staff. The menu is varied and the food is quite good. Not great, but fine. My last visit was for Sunday brunch with my mother. We sat on the terrace. It was an enjoyable outing.

Unbeatable experience for Ethiopian food. The atmosphere of the place and the presentation of flavours are all perfect.
Personally I think the tasting menu is the way to go, you get to experience a little bit of everything. We had it for 3 people and it was delicious. The cocktails were nice too.
I had one drink + the tasting menu, and paid $66 after tip. The price point is higher than other spots, but it really is a beautiful space, well made good and excellent service. Worth going!

The food was beyond delicious. We chose the shared vegan option which made ordering really easy and gave us a taste of so many different flavors. The staff was super friendly. The ambiance very pleasant. The bathroom is nice and clean. We had a lovely time!

Interesting experience! You receive small portions of food on a big crepe that you use to grab the vegetables and meat. The menu is filled with diverse tasty Ethiopian dishes. (the prices are pretty high though) The waiters were very kind and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Would absolutely recommend the Doro Watt, chicken with berbéré sauce.

I had the saute sole fish filet (yeassa watt) and the spinach sauteed with onions and garlic (Gommen) which was very good. The Injeria was nice, but I got full fast from the bread. Wish I had someone else to share the Injeria with. Sadly, I couldn't finish it all by myself. The fish was nice and lite, not spicy for me. The spinach was nice as well. The service was great. Very attentive staff. I received a nice hot towel for my hands as a refreshment before the start of the dish. Very nice service.

Unique pastries, custards and baked goods are a hallmark of this restaurant! The self-serve concept could definitely feel a bit impersonal, however the staff are very friendly and always happy to help with your order. You can warm up your breads on-site as well - the breads are baked fresh. The espresso drinks aren't bad either. Worth stopping by to try if you're in the area!

If you're looking for a unique coffee experience, Mamie Clafoutis is an absolute gem! Their coffee maker is a work of art, brewing the perfect cup every time, rich in flavor and incredibly smooth. The vibe of the shop itself is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends.
Now, let’s talk about the Oh Mon Dieu pastry. WOW. It’s a decadent, melt-in-your-mouth treat that’s unlike anything I’ve had before. The layers, the sweetness, the texture – it’s all perfection in one bite. This pastry alone is worth the visit!

The new decor is pretty! They changed the concept into a self serve store. Customers take whatever they want and pay at the cash register.

The staff was friendly and the pastries are good. Our visit was disappointing because we were expecting tables and space to eat indoors. There are several boxed sandwiches & desserts too but we were expecting a fresher feel all around.

This is such a charming restaurant and was the best night of our trip. The food is wonderful, the service is warm and friendly and the flamenco dancing was outstanding! Our group loved it and you could just feel the energy from it all.

Note that the flamenco dancing is only on Fridays and Saturdays!

Wow! The food is absolutely incredible. My boyfriend and I had the Valencia Discovery Menu and every dish was so good. The sangria was also top notch. We ate outside and the ambiance was wonderful. You can still hear the great music but you’re able to still have great conversations. The real star of the show was the service. Our waiter Firo so absolutely the highlight. Everything was prompt, we were checked on the appropriate amount of times and he engaged us in lively and fun conversation- I’d go back just for him! Overall, given it’s convenient location in the Latin Quarter, amazing food and exceptional service I would recommend Casa Galicia to just about anyone!

Absolutely unforgettable time here! The live flamenco added incredible energy, the drinks were AMAZING (best dirty martini I’ve ever had), and the atmosphere was electric. The mussels were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—so much flavor in that sauce.
But what truly made the night was the service. Our waiter Firo was awesome—attentive, friendly, funny and on point with every detail. Huge shoutout to David, the owner, whose warmth and hospitality took the experience to another level. The best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Can’t wait to come back!
P.S. Don’t skip dessert. The tarts, the house cake, the ricotta cake… absolutely 👌

Fantastic little garden with wholesome staff and great food options!
It's a bit of a walk from Metro stations, but it was still worth the effort. The menu may seem small at first, but it does actually offer enough variety for everyone.
The friendly environment paired with the quality of food, makes it feel like a home. Do try it!

We were craving pastel and decided to try Acajou Restaurant. Unfortunately, I left still craving pastel.
The taste was nothing like a traditional Brazilian pastel — it felt more like a fried dough with cheese inside, lacking flavor and crunch. The pão de queijo also didn’t resemble the real Brazilian version at all.
Service was slow, and the food took even longer to come out, even though we only ordered two pastéis and a portion of pão de queijo.
Another downside is the smoke from the kitchen, which spreads throughout the entire restaurant.
Overall, my experience wasn’t great. Maybe it’s worth a visit if you’re going for the barbecue, but if you’re looking for good pastel, this is definitely not the place.

I came here with both my parents hoping to eat a good piece of meat. And that’s exactly what we did.
We ordered a plate that included pork, beef, chicken and chorizo with beans and rice. It was very well done, everything was juicy and tasty. I loved it.
We also ordered Pastel with cheese and with meat. The cheese one was really good, we kept ordering them. The beef one on the other side I felt like it was missing spice. Maybe adding some rice or a sauce so it feels richer because it just felt like cooked ground beef with salt.
The Manga juice was delicious, exactly what I expected. Sweet and refreshing.
One of the workers came to our table and let us taste his special spicy sauce and it was very very good.
The ambiance felt good, like a family restaurant you would visit after and event or to celebrate something. The music selection was good too, everyone was laughing and having a good time. The tables could be a little more further from eachother thought.
Even if it’s a little expensive (20$/28$), I would recommend and I hope to come back cause it was delicious and if the food is delicious I don’t mind the price.
Thank you!

I have been to this location twice
1. I went there for my birthday dinner and the meal took 50 minutes to come out, but the food was phenomenal!! Told them it was my birthday and they still charged us for dessert, which was fine but still shocking.
2. Went there a few weeks later and the service had immensely improved! Our server was very kind and attentive and the sushi came out within 15! The vegan sushi here is all phenomenal. The kamikaze Salmon was my favorite!!

First off, this place serves vegan sushi. I went here for my birthday dinner and you really need a reservation. We ordered the omakase, which comes with your choice of appetizers/dessert and the chef's choice of sushi. It's a cozy little place and everything was absolutely delicious.
Don't expect those small makis with just cucumber or avocado, these are rolls full of different ingredients that mixes texture and flavor that taste so good together. They also made a vegan version of salmon made of konjac and I really enjoyed that too. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is super lovely. And if you've eaten at other sushi places, the price is pretty reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

We ordered the 4 course omakase tasting menu and it was excellent! The highlights were the mushroom tartare, Japanese arancini, and the poached pear for dessert. This allowed us to try more of the menu and seemed like a good value!

To be completely honest didn’t realize it was a vegan restaurant until we were seated, but we were pleasantly surprised. The presentation was amazing and everything tasted great as well. The cocktail and wine selection were all fantastic and worth a visit alone.

My sister and I stumbled onto this place yesterday and we are SO happy that we did! The restaurant was really beautifully decorated, it was fancy and relaxing, and really great for a date or one-on-one experience as you could have a conversation without it being too loud - overall, super cozy chic vibes. Our waiter Rubel was so friendly, attentive and had the greatest recommendations for us too. Huge portions, incredibly flavourful, fluffy naan... My sister is vegetarian and I love lamb so there were many options for both of us. The food was honestly very fresh and delicious, we even had enough for lunches the next day! Honestly all in all, we are already planning to go back and bring our families because it was a wonderful and delicious experience... Thank you Rubel, can't wait to see you next time!

My sister and I were on our last day in Montreal and chose to stop by here for dinner. I was shocked at how amazing the food was! We both got the butter chicken and house salad. It was absolutely delicious, great portion sizes, amazing service and affordable too.

My friend and I shared a couple of dishes last night and loved everything! We had Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, garlic naan and basmati rice. So delicious! For dessert we had chai and split the cardamom creme brulee. We would have liked more of a cardamom flavour but the creme brulee itself was very good and a generous portion. Our server (didn't get his name) was very good too. Would absolutely come back here next time I'm in Montreal!

So being Indian, northern Indian cuisine is in my blood. When I go away I am happy to see Indian restaurants, as I miss the home cooking. Guru Bistro was disappointing. The restaurant has nice decor & excellent service. The food on the other hand was a big let down. First up I ordered Samosa Chana (which really is Samosa Chaat). Not enough tamarind, mint sauce or masalas. For main it was Bhindi & Malai Kofta. Bhindi was very under cooked & again that authentic flavor was missing. Malai Kofta did have descent flavor but had too much sugar. Paranthas & Garlic naan were excellent though. The service is the real reason for the 3 star rating. Hoping to find better Indian food during my stay in Montreal.
