We really enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental Montreal. The hotel is beautiful, with stylish decor and a lovely atmosphere throughout. One of our favorite things was being able to step directly out into the connected mall, which was so convenient and especially nice when the weather was not ideal. The location is also excellent for exploring Montreal and getting around the city.

The hotel kindly accommodated us with an early check-in at 10:00 a.m., which was greatly appreciated, and a late check-out at 2:00 p.m. on departure day, allowing for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The front desk team provided consistently excellent service—professional, warm, and attentive. In the evening, a staff member thoughtfully followed up to ensure our comfort, a gesture that made us feel genuinely well cared for. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary drink at the hotel bar, which added a refined and welcoming touch to the experience. Breakfast the following morning was excellent, with high-quality offerings that reflected the hotel’s commitment to detail and guest satisfaction. Overall, InterContinental Montreal delivered a polished and memorable luxury experience, and we would gladly return.

This location is close by to Old Montreal and walking distance to a lot of places near by, especially for travellers looking to visit. My room was clean, well kept and staff were very friendly. It was a good spot for me to travel to different restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here January 9-11! The staff were all top-notch; housekeeping, valet, front desk. No details were missed! I also enjoyed the fitness center which had a good variety of equipment and machines. Sad to leave and would definitely return!!

Incredible steak! I got the classic steak frites and it was cooked perfectly. I love the unlimited fries. The escargot was also amazing! I would skip the beef tartar next time. Also, it's BYOB. We saw a table next to us who brought a 6 pack of beer and a bottle of wine. And they chill it for you, too. Wish we knew!

Did you know you can bring your own alcohol here? Everyone had a bottle of wine just for themselves. Legendary. I don't know how to take off a couple stars in the rating for how dull the knives were. So, 40 times attempting to slice my steak - that's 80 strokes total - and the tendons were not cut... So I asked for a sharper knife, (aside: at my new knife request, the lady next to me chimed in saying that their knives were also terrible) which was just larger in size and only took 20 attempts at 40 strokes total. Yes, I counted. Usually a steak as small as a fillet mignon is still warm at the last bite but this was the first time my entire dish was stone cold not even halfway through. It was cooked correctly but I've never had sore hands from eating a steak dinner. If I had an entire bottle of wine with dinner I suppose I would not have minded the surprise workout as much. I was fighting for a buzz as hard as I was trying not to lose a digit or accidentally fling my plate's contents in the slicing process. Our waiter was nice enough, I can tell they work hard there. It was a funny way to end the visit to Montreal, and I would go back there again with more alcohol and my own steak knife.

Came here on a cold winter night while visiting Montreal, and it was such a cozy experience. The staff were very friendly, the steak was delicious, the calamari was perfectly crispy, and the beef tartare was incredibly tasty. Plus, it’s conveniently located just steps away from Square-Victoria metro station.

The food here is incredible!! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Menu is small which means they really focus on there items. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is soft and appealing.

Our kids love a good steak frites and had to come. We brought our own wine. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the CHATEAUBRIAND for 2 and our steak came out too well done. They were so kind to make us the whole meal again. Otherwise everyone’s steak was done medium perfectly. Our parents shared the salmon with fries, which was also delicious. Desserts were generous portions. We would totally come back again. Tip: pick up wines at Avril Marche nearby. From 4-7pm wines are 50% off.

We had the most amazing experience at toque. While we walked in with all the intentions of having the tasting menu, we decided to go for the ala carte option because it appealed to us. First. The complimentary sourdough and squash-miso butter was glorious with just the amount of tang and unctuousness. Second, the amouse bouche was decadent, yet fresh. The pea tartelette with the velouté sauce was a delight. Finally, the poppy seed encrusted chocolate truffle finale was just the right cherry on the cake. We loved everything we tried from the lobster, the sea bass, the lamb and the raspberry crémeaux. Even the coffee was delicious and somehow not marked up beyond a regular cafe. The service was most exquisite. Attentive, funny and just the right amount of sass. Well done to the team. We will be back here for sure!

Don’t let the understated look of the restaurant fool you. Toqué! is all about what happens on the plate. The cuisine is not only delicious but also showcases local ingredients in creative and original ways. Every combination of flavors felt perfectly balanced, and the wine pairings elevated the experience even more. The service was attentive and professional throughout the meal. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

During our spring trip to Montreal, we stayed at the Humaniti Hotel, just a short walk from Toqué!, and made a reservation well in advance in anticipation of this meal. It was an experience we truly looked forward to—and it did not disappoint. The dining room is elegant and refined, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout the evening. We basically ordered most of the courses on the menu, 4 first courses and 4 main courses and 4 desserts. All four of us had an excellent dining experience, with consistently high praise for every course. I would recommend the quail dish, and beef filet was very good, too. From the beautiful presentation to the precise and well-balanced seasoning, the level of craftsmanship was clear. I must say that for the quality of the food and overall experience, the pricing felt very reasonable. We would absolutely look forward to returning on a future visit to Montreal.

Toqué! is one of those rare institutions that justifies its reputation, particularly during the lunch service which offers a lighter, high-energy alternative to the formal dinner experience. Having visited twice now for lunch, it’s clear the kitchen’s strength lies in its consistency and its focus on Quebec's seasonal terroir. The dining room, with its polished glass wine cellar and vibrant accents, feels upscale without being stuffy. It is the kind of place where the service is a science, yet the atmosphere remains accessible. The plates are consistently artful, often highlighting a balance between rich proteins and sharp, fresh components. Starters like the foie gras terrine with its smooth consistency and fruit purée accents, or the confit trout with nasturtium oil, are technical standouts. For the mains, the walleye with caper beurre blanc and the butcher’s cut of lamb demonstrate why the restaurant has remained a flagship for over thirty years. While it is certainly a premium experience, the lunch set menu remains one of the best values in Montreal for this level of gastronomy.

Food: Moishes was an excellent overall experience, even with one small food-related miss. The steak had great flavor, a deep char, and that classic steakhouse richness you want, but it was not trimmed as cleanly as it should have been. There was a piece of silver skin along the side that I had to cut away, which kept the steak itself from being perfect. That said, the rest of the meal really delivered. The escargot was one of the standouts for me: rich, garlicky, buttery, and exactly the kind of dish that makes you want extra bread on the table. The bread was also excellent, warm and satisfying with the butter. The fries were crisp and generous, and the Chocolate Explosion was insanely good. Rich, smooth, and a perfect finish to the meal. Service: Service was polished and professional. The meal felt smooth from start to finish and had the kind of pacing you want from a classic steakhouse. Summary: Overall, still a 5/5 experience. The steak could have been butchered a little cleaner, but the flavor, service, escargot, bread, and dessert made the meal feel special.

Moishes is a fantastic choice for a friends’ night out. The vibe feels classic and special—lively enough for a celebration, but still comfortable for a long catch-up. Water was refilled regularly without us having to ask. - We ordered the lunch table d’hôte, which is only available on weekdays. - Complimentary bread, coleslaw, and pickles were served at the table. - The grilled shrimp were really good, with a nice smoky flavor. The tomato salsa was surprisingly good, especially its sweetness. - The ribeye was really good—slightly under-seasoned, but they provide steak spices on the side, which helps. - I appreciated the extras: a choice of sauce (I chose pepper sauce), steak spice blend, and garlic confit, which allow for different flavor and texture combinations. - They let you choose your steak knife, which is a nice touch, although the one I picked was a bit dull. - The mille-feuille was also excellent. - Restrooms were very clean, and I liked that they offer several amenities such as mouth rinse, Q-tips, etc.

What an incredible dining experience. From the moment we walked in we were treated with outmost professionalism and this reflected in both front and back of house. The dining room is extremely comfortable, clean and stylish. The waitstaff is warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The steaks and sides were incredibly delicious. Cooked to order and flavorful. Drinks and desserts were also great. Worth every penny. Highly recommended

Stellar service and food!!! Less than ten minutes into our dinner I was already excited to be back. Our server, Christoph was perfectly attentive but not overbearing and my family and I felt taken care of the entire night by each and every member of staff we interacted with. Portions are generous and everything was incredibly delicious, steak melted in our mouth— we will absolutely be back! Ambiance and decor were beautiful as well. Highlight of our trip to the city, well worth the hype and the price. Thank you Moishes!

Colleagues of mine and I from Agnutmaqan Association recently travelled to Montreal, QC for the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) conference taking place October 28-30, 2025. We were thrilled to find this Five Guys location only a 2 minute walk out our door … we were patrons here all three days. I had the regular cheeseburger with bacon, my two other friends ordered the Petit burger and fries. 🍔🍔 While in Montreal it’s a must to try the poutine - FIVE GUYS hooked us up! The cheese curd and gravy were the perfect poutine combo 🍟- delicious (we ordered 7 of them during our three day visit). The burgers were freshly made and the toppings were fresh and bountiful! This was my first time visiting Montreal as well as my first time to Five Guys burger place … it definitely won’t be my last for either!! FIVE GUYS focuses on burgers, fries and hotdogs - they don’t sell salads, chicken or a whole bunch of other menu items, they keep their focus on burgers, hotdogs and fries and it shows … See y’all soon 🙏 Merci Beaucoup

Five guys is amazing finally I had the opportunity to try it. The burgers are absolutely amazing—juicy, flavorful, and fully customizable with a huge variety of toppings. The fresh, toasted buns hold everything together perfectly, and the patties are always cooked to perfection. And let’s talk about the fries—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My recent visit to Five Guys McGill Street left me with mixed feelings! 🍔🍟🥤 The highlight of the meal was their delightful fries and lip-smacking milkshakes, which truly lived up to the restaurant's reputation. However, I have to say that the veggie burger I ordered was quite underwhelming. 😕 Let's start with the positives—the fries were outstanding! 🍟 Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were the perfect sidekick to our meal. And oh, those milkshakes! 🥤🤤 Creamy, rich, and full of flavor, they were simply divine. Five Guys definitely knows how to create mouthwatering sides and treats! Now, onto the not-so-great parts. My friend and I were taken aback by the prices. 💸 While we expected to pay a bit more for quality, we both felt that it was a tad too expensive for a casual burger joint. The veggie burger, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment. 😔 It lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for and turned out to be quite bland. One thing I have to mention is the A1 sauce, and it's a big no-no. 🚫 We decided to try it, thinking it would add some zing to the burger, but it was far from enjoyable. The taste was off, and it didn't complement the meal at all. On a positive note, the restaurant's atmosphere was inviting with an American-style burger joint vibe. 🍔🇺🇸 The ambiance was lively, and the staff was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience pleasant overall. While the quality of the ingredients used in the burgers was good, I couldn't help but feel that the overall pricing didn't quite match what was offered. We came here for dinner as a group of 18 people and were greeted very well by the servers. Unfortunately, they were not able to accommodate our group in a single table (despite having a reservation), but we managed to have a nice dinner here. I ordered the crispy orange beef and was expecting more of it, especially given the price, so I was a little disappointed by my dish, but the food was okay overall. Not sure I would come back to eat here

I stayed in mtl for 5 days , each five days i came back and enjoyed what i purchased🤌🏻 so friendly, fresh food and awesome coffees!

I got one (1) sandwhich for lunch. Nothing else. 16$ before tax. 18.20 after tax. For 1 ciabata sandwhich. Yes just one. There is no value here. If it were half the price there would be value. They force us to come back to the office 4 days a week because downtown businesses are dying ... it's not because we aren't here ... it's because the prices are just stupid.

Their sandwiches are so delicious i tried the cheese, tomato and basilic sauce sandwich and the other one was steak, eggplant and onion caramelized with mayo sauce and both of them were incredible but they're too expensive one sandwich for 13$ before tax

This is the best restaurant i’ve visited in Montreal. The atmosphere was very nice, calm and quiet. The service was great, the servers were both very quick and very nice. They seemed to genuinely care about their customers and did their best to make our experience better. The food also came quick, we barely had to wait at all. The food was amazing and the portions were big. We had the mongolian beef, the general tao chicken, the crispy ginger chicken, the pepper chicken with spinach, and the fried rice. All dishes were great! Highly recommended

If I could give them 5 stars just for their water service, I would. My glass was never less than half full (and I drink a lot of water). On top of that, everything we ordered was spectacular. We got the general tso's chicken (duh), snow peas & mushrooms, and Shanghai style noodles. I couldn't pick a favorite dish! Safe to say, I will be back.

Hands down the best chinese food I have ever had in Montréal. The owner was lovely and recommended a lot of delicious dishes, which we all loved. My favorite was the orange beef, so good! Will definitely be back.

Most of the food was really really good. I loved the Mongolian beef, the sauteed mixed vegetables, the pan-fried noodles with chicken and vegetable and the general tao (although very spicy). The general tao was actual thick pieces of chicken and the breading was crispy and not too thick. The Mongolian beef is not like PF Chang's Mongolian beef, but it's sauteed thin strips of beef with vegetables in a savory sauce. The meat quality was very good and the beef was tender and not at all tough. It was my favorite. The vegetables were crisp and tasty with a great variety (carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, baby bok choy, Chinese cauliflower, green beans and lotus root). The pan- fried noodles with chicken and vegetables had crispy noodles on top (like Chow mein) and they were still crispy when I got home even after driving 20+ min. Underneath was thinly cut bites of chicken and vegetables (the same as in the sauteed vegetables).The peanut butter dumplings were very small and a bit salty. The sauce portion was generous and it was topped with green onions. My 11 y/o son loved them, but they were just ok in my opinion. The shrimp toast was good, my husband loved it. It comes with a sweet dipping sauce. None of our dishes came with rice because we didn't order any combos, so we just made rice at home. The people who work there seem very kind, friendly and helpful. I placed the call by phone for pickup and the gentleman on the line was nice and patient and the woman who served me when I picked up the order helped me open the door and made sure I was able to carry the bag to my car. The only negative was that it was pretty expensive for the portion size. It cost more than my usual go-to Chinese restaurant and there's less food, but I'd still go again because the food is so good. There was also lots of paid street parking right near the restaurant. Even though it's downtown, it's on a road with mild traffic. Positives: Delicious food Fresh ingredients with lots of vegetables and good quality meat Friendly staff Ample street parking although downtown Negatives: Cost Smaller portions

Great steakhouse. The Caesar salad was crisp, with the perfect tang and just the right amount of Parmesan in the dressing. The calamari, foie gras, lamb shank, and beef tartare were all delicious. This is one of the best steakhouses I’ve ever tried. Everything was amazing. Benjamin was very helpful, and the service overall was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sushi was very fresh. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. Definitely coming back again. If you had an option to only try one restaurant in Montreal, consider this on the top of the list!

Indeed a hidden gem!! My wife and I walked in with no reservations on a Friday night and we were treated like royalty. Prompt and polite service, excellent drinks, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and fantastic location (right by central station). This time we came for the sushi but they have an assortment of dry aged steaks/cuts of meat that will definitely be a must try next time - imo reasonable prices for the experience. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Overpriced overhyped. They don’t salt nothing, and they refuse to leave the salt on the table 😂 BYO-salt. Octopus was fine nothing special which is disappointing. Steak was mid but a party liked the filet mignon and mushrooms and potatoes (it’s hard to mess up potatoes though) Service was great! But it took forever to get our food.
