5 Star Rating Came here while staying in Sydney. Prices are on the higher end, but the fish is fresh and delicious. The scallops were soft and amazing, with the Wagyu Nigiri being buttery and a perfect end to the dinner. The atmosphere is great with the belt going around the sushi bar. They also offer at seat online ordering in case you don't see what you want on the belt. Would highly recommend for anyone that has never had conveyer belt sushi before.

5 Star Rating Sushi Train at Bondi Junction is a fun and friendly place to eat at any time of the day. The staff greet everyone as they walk in and again all yell out goodbyes as you leave. It’s really fun. The plates of food that role past are plentiful with lots of variety. You can even get yummy desserts and fruit bowls. The sushi chefs are constantly making dishes in the centre so you can see everything is freshly made.

4 Star Rating This is a great place in Bondi Junction for Japanese food, it’s moved from across the road and looks like it’s now in a restaurant that used to be Italian hence some of the internal designs that don’t look very authentic 👍🏼 The food is great, can get very busy at meal times and the service can be a bit chaotic and slow but the food is always served with a smile, if you’re not in a hurry then it’s really enjoyable!! Definitely worth a visit 😊

5 Star Rating Wow! So we have been Wa customers for 17 years. When we wanted to eat out, Wa Japanese Restaurant Cafe was our favorite. We had Wa catering - sushi and other yummy dishes - for our son’s 21st birthday party. The food at Wa was always superb, prepared fresh, authentic Japanese and artistically presented and eating out of beautiful Japanese porcelain ware and drinking out of clean, gleaming glasses were so refreshing. Last night, my husband and I brought our visiting son and his guest back to Wa. He missed saying hi to the friendly chefs. He missed the fine food. We each had the 6-course dinner. The verdict: food quality and presentation is a welcome constant. Wa does its best to ensure its offerings are done the same always: whether it be years ago, yesterday or today. We have been to restaurants where food quality varies. Not with Wa. Fine food is always presented in the freshest and most artistic form. Wa is on the ground floor (on the right) of The Forum, a commercial and residential building, 310-330 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction. Wa is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am - 2.30pm, 5 - 9.30pm; Sunday 5 - 9.30pm. It is closed Mondays.

5 Star Rating The first impression of the menu was that the price is on the high end, but after the food arrived and tasted, it is worth every penny. Waguy beef so tender, juicy and source full of flavours. Specially rice for sushi and set menu dishes. Good location but limited seating capacity and spacr when it's busy. The indoor seating allows you to unintentionally hear your neighbours conversation at the next table. Very friendly and attentive staff serving customers. Highly recommended if you are after quality and service.

5 Star Rating Really delicious tonkotsu broth, interesting take on the pork as it was pulled instead of sliced. The sides are all very tasty, including and especially the crumbed and fried chicken - resembling the Fami-Chiki that we love from Japan. Interesting setup - almost like a school canteen, but it's made to order, right in front of you.

3 Star Rating Food was quite average. Would say it’s alright if you’re grabbing a quick bite to eat. Place was nicely decorated and had a good ambiance. As far as spices go, they use more southeast Asian type of spices. Not quite close to what they would use in Japan.

4 Star Rating 👩‍🍳 Food - 10/10 🌻 Vibes - 8/10 💵 Cost - 6/10 🌟 Service - 8/10 • • • Spring Street Nook Cafe is a cosy, little establishment located at the corner of the Royal Arcade. It's more of a buy-and-go place since there are limited chairs and tables to sit at if you choose to dine-in. Regardless, it has a pleasant vibe with decent service. The cost is on the pricier side, however the food and drinks are delicious. I purchased the "Green Goddess" juice for $8, which has a combination of (green) apple, baby spinach and mint and tasted very refreshing and nice. For food, I chose the "Bacon and egg roll" for $12 which tasted as it should and was super filling. This cafe is a nice place but you should expect to spend around $20-$30 if you plan to have a meal with a drink. If you're only doing a coffee/drink and pastry, it'll definitely be under $20.

Staff is friendly and cooperative. The place is neat, tidy and hygiene I ordered beef Pad Thai, the live cooking was fast as my order was delivered in 5 minutes, the pad thai was amazing noodles were perfectly boiled, the protein was in a good quantity as well as quality. I like the taste but personally i felt like the Pad Thai was a bit over-saucy. However it was very good HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

4 Star Rating If you're looking for a good chicken schnitzel - Goodtime Burgers within the Eastern hotel is hard to beat. They have a very solid standard schnitzel, with the option to "supercharge" it. Supercharging your schnitzel is basically turning it into a pizza-like topping on top; extra sauce, extra ingredients , extra flavour. A supercharged schnitzel will fill you up for sure! Seating can be an issue at times. They have limited booths around the edge of the venue, and some round bar tables - so my suggestion would be to try come outside of peak timing.

Personally, I found the spicy chicken to be the standout choice, which is showcased in the first photo attached.
