out of 5 When you walk in you through the glass doors, you will see a few machines to purchase or collect your tickets. Just behind those machines is the snack bar. On the right are the registers, where there will always be at least one staff member. The staff crew are friendly and helpful. The snack bar is stacked with popcorn, soft drinks, water, and frozens but also extra snacks like chips and chocolate. The prices for the snacks are not too different from any other movie cinema. To reach the theatre, we had to go up 2 escalators until you welcomed with a giant and bright IMAX sign. There was a crew member at the door who helped us find our seats. I don't recommend the couple seats (which are the seats we had gotten). The seats are spacious, but there is no leg room, so my legs felt very cramped. The seats are also too close to the screen and even with its back recline, I didn't feel like I was able to see the whole screen. The screen is exceptionally large and crisp. The sound system is really good and clear, but (maybe because I'm right at the front) it was overly loud. Overall, the experience was okay. Maybe it would have been better if we had gotten seats further away from the screen, and with the price tag, I don't know how often I can see myself returning. 3.5/5 🌟

The building is very nice and the chairs in the theater are very comfortable.
The screen is really visible from any position. It cannot be compared to regular cinema.
This place is so good. However, in the morning, it opens just 30 minutes before movie starts , making many people wait outside,
Many people lined up to get tickets and buy popcorn, so even 20 minutes after the movie started, people kept coming in.
and there are only 3 dressing rooms on level 2 and the theater floor.
Many people had to wait in line for over 10 minutes to use the bathroom, and when there were a lot of people, the stairs going up and down were too narrow and dangerous.

IMAX is back open. Beautiful space with very clean and modern architecture. The screen is massive and the seating is very comfortable. The sound system is incredible and very immersive. Definitely impressed with the new IMAX in Sydney.
The popcorn is delicious. I know Events Cinemas is associated with this IMAX but the popcorn here is way better than at Events Cinemas. I'm impressed.
They have so many different flavours of soft drink to choose from!

Pros:
- Amazing sound.
- Stylish, great design.
- Comfortable seats.
Cons:
- Even though is one of the biggest screens of the world it’s only used around 60% of the whole screen, so basically it doesn’t make a big difference compared to a regula cinema (hopefully it was only for the movie ‘The Creator’ and not all movies).
- It took around 10 minutes for the lights to be turned off after the movie started.
- Emergency exit signs too bright.
- Overpriced (except for Cinebuzz members that is a little bit more reasonable).
- Poor design (the front seats are too close to the screen). In my case I was at the back and the experience is fantastic so I wouldn’t never book front seats.
- Limited toilets.

Had the pleasure of taking two large groups to the newly opened Imax. On 3D. Group bookings were simple and the staff managed our booking professionally. Inside is simple sleek design. Screen is massive and worth a 3D film.
Seats are comfortable and with plenty of space.
Well worth a visit.
