Amazing halal Thai 🇹🇭 restaurant. The menu was massive and had so many different options like soups, curries or noodles 🍜 and fried chicken 🍗 or an entire fish 🐟 Got the spicy red curry 🍛 with prawns 🍤 that had steamed vegetables 🥦. Got a coconut 🥥 rice 🍚 side dish and it smelled like coconut and had a little bit of dried coconut shreds on top 🔝 . It was really delicious together. The portion was massive and amazing for the price.🙌 just wished they removed the tail on the prawns to make it easier to eat. Got the classic pad Thai and it was also a massive portion and had some tofu and was really good. 👍 Service was good 😌 and they served us really quickly . The atmosphere is nice and cozy but it’s a little 🤏small but can accommodate large groups of people. Overall super good halal restaurant, highly recommend. 👏

As Asians in Sydney craving Asian food, this spot was a good find. Extensive menu and fully halal, making it such an inclusive spot for friends to bond over meals. Had the Thai briyani, pad krapow, som tum and some sides. All were good dishes too. Portions were generous! Service was good and food came pretty quick. Dinner for 4 cost us AUD$137 which is not too bad! Will come again next time.

If you’re in Sydney and craving Thai that actually feels like a proper meal, It’s Time for Thai is honestly such a win. I grabbed their Beef Pad See Ew, and it’s exactly what you want when you're hungry the portion is huge, and those wide rice noodles have that perfect, slightly charred "wok" flavor that’s so hard to get right at home. The beef was super tender, and I loved that they didn't skimp on the Chinese broccoli or the fresh bean sprouts, which gave it a really nice crunch. It’s a busy, unpretentious spot with a great vibe, and since it’s Halal-certified and pretty affordable, it’s a total go-to whether you’re in Haymarket or Kingsford.

I tried the barbecue chicken with rice, and honestly, it was so nice. The chicken was super flavorful and hit the spot perfectly. Plus, they definitely don't skimp on the portion sizes here—the plate was huge, so you really get your money's worth and leave completely full.

I visited with a friend and we had the spicy ramen and katsu-don. As a lover of spicy food, the spicy ramen was incredibly satisfying! The katsu-don was also exactly to my like.it totally reminded me of Japan. We had a wonderful meal and I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

We have been here for nearly 10 years now…TONKOTSU MISO pork RAMEN & TONTORO MISO TONKOTSU pork ramen( my favourite w lots of slices of pork ) $22.50 You gotta have KAEDAMA for extra $3 when you r nearly finishing up your ramen but u want some more extra noodle. Gyoza was good too. Japanese waitress, Japanese chef - customer service is amazing here! Authentic ramen! U must try!! Apparently they have small tempura soba noodles for $5 lunch time.

I ordered the set menu and was genuinely blown away by the value for money. For just $25, you get a large bowl of ramen (I chose the shoyu pork ramen), a rice bowl of your choice (I went with teriyaki beef), and one side (I picked the takoyaki balls). The ramen broth was rich, authentic, and full of flavour, and the portion was generous with plenty of noodles. The teriyaki beef was tender and tasty, with soft, fragrant rice. The takoyaki balls were also delicious - gooey on the inside, and full of authentic flavour. The staff here are incredibly kind, genuine, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a lovely little spot tucked away in a corner of Haymarket/Chinatown.

Menya has been a staple spot for us to grab a delicious ramen or soba when the craving sets in! The food has been consistently delicious for well over 15 years since our first visit! My personal preference is the soba, but my wife and kids always choose a miso soup base ramen. Well worth a visit, the staff are friendly and the service is quick.

This is one of the best places to enjoy a coffee when arriving at Sydney Central Station and heading towards Haymarket. It’s a must-visit spot that you simply shouldn’t pass by without stopping for a coffee. They also offer great coffee-and-donut specials that are excellent value. Tried the new cinnamon rolls. My goodness gracious me. Lord have mercy. “Insert happy song and happy dance”🕺 Why did you have to make the original glazed 10times better? This is unfair to society and a crime against humanity. You need to do jail time for this.. Get 2 when ur there.

Such a lovely donut shop! The staff were so kind and generous, it really made my child’s day. The donut was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. Great customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The best Krispy Kream branch I have ever visited! The decoration is so stylish and creative. Every corner in this tiny shop is perfect for taking photos. I believe this is the big branch so they baked the donuts at the back of the shop so everything is fresh. They got all selection from meals to drinks. There are plenty of seats to sit and relax. I will come back for dine-in for sure.

They have a lot of options, including beef that I feel very weird but its okay hahaha I loved my sushis and inaris, flavorful and good portion. I wish there is in Auckland. It's not the cheapest food but very easy option when you want a good and fast food. Loved it 🍣🍙

Sushi Hub is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving fresh, affordable Japanese food. Their salmon salad is absolutely delicious—generous slices of fresh salmon served over a bed of crunchy vegetables with a light and tangy dressing. It’s healthy, refreshing, and always hits the spot. I also love their sushi selection. The rolls are well made, neatly packed, and full of flavor. Whether it’s salmon, tuna, or prawn, the ingredients always taste fresh, and the rice is perfectly seasoned. It’s a great option for a quick lunch or takeaway dinner. The service is fast, and everything is always neatly presented. For the price and quality, Sushi Hub is definitely one of the best casual sushi places around. Highly recommended for sushi lovers!

Love this place! A huge shoutout to Declan Thomas Peno for making the experience even better — outstanding service, great attitude, and genuinely made everyone feel welcome throughout the night. The drinks menu had plenty of great options, everything was served quickly, and the quality was excellent. The food was also fantastic, with generous portions and amazing flavour. The staff overall were friendly and attentive, creating such a positive and relaxed environment. What really stood out was the overall vibe of the place. It’s Saint Patrick’s Day today and I’m in the Great Southern Bar. Delighted with the Guinness so I just told the manager. He was pleased and told me it’s cos they clean the lines often. I would highly recommend, if you like Guinness. Often hard to get a good Guinness in Sydney. Sláinte ☘️💚☘️💚 🇮🇪

I was getting tired of eating Asian food and had to have some good old Australian bar food. This place did not disappoint once I figured out that you had to order from the bar and then take your number and have a seat. Everything went smoothly. The front of the bar was packed, but I was able to find a table in the back near by the kitchen. The fried chicken was delicious. when I am back in Australia I would definitely stop here again.

We had some drinks and dinner here before going to a concert at The Enmore. We were staying upstairs. We were there during Happy Hour as well as on a Tuesday night for a fantastic steak special both a big hit. Very busy pub. Great menu. Lots of great choices with vegetarian and gluten free choices available. If I am in the city again would definitely stop by again.

Had a lovely dining experience at Steam King Restaurant! The interior is absolutely gorgeous — it feels like stepping into a little corner of China, with elegant traditional touches that create such a beautiful atmosphere. My family enjoyed the meal so much. We ordered the Steamed King Chicken Wonton Soup, Steamed Prawns with Garlic and Glass Noodles, and the Double Steamed Chicken Soup with Abalone and Dried Fish Maw, Fried Rice with Egg White, Scallops and Dry Scallop, — everything was comforting and full of flavour! We finished with Sweet Dumplings with Almond Paste and Herbal Jelly. The location is also very easy to find in Haymarket Chinatown, Sydney. A really lovely dining experience overall, can't wait to go back! ❤️

Came here for the traditional double steamed soup which was full of flavour and so healthy. These soups take hours to make so its nice to eat out. Me and my friend visited this cozy Cantonese home-style restaurant in Sydney and had a wonderful dining experience. The highlight of the night was definitely the pumpkin seafood fried rice, served inside a whole golden pumpkin. The rice was fragrant and generously filled with seafood, while the pumpkin added a subtle natural sweetness that made the dish unique and memorable. We also tried the steamed chicken wonton soup, which was light and comforting. The double-boiled chicken soup with abalone and dried fish maw was rich and nourishing without feeling too heavy. You can really taste the depth of slow cooking. The amber walnut king prawns were juicy and perfectly coated in creamy mayo with crunchy walnuts, and the sweet and sour pork ribs had a great balance of tangy and sweet flavors. The space is beautifully designed with traditional Chinese elements that make you feel like you’ve stepped into China, and the dishes here are thoughtfully crafted and unique. What we ordered: 🥣 Double Steamed Chicken Soup with Dry Fish Maw & Dried Scallop ($32.80) Light, nourishing broth that’s double-steamed for hours. The flavour is incredibly pure and comforting. 🍤 Amber Walnut King Prawn with Mayo ($44.80) Fresh, juicy and crunchy prawns coated in creamy mayo with sweet amber walnuts. One of my favourites. 🥬 Spinach with Salted & Preserved Egg ($34.80) Super comforting dish. The creamy preserved egg pairs perfectly with the spinach. 🍚 Stir Fried Glutinous Rice with Chinese Sausage ($36.80) Fragrant and savoury with lots of flavour from the Chinese sausage. 🍖 Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs ($44.80) Crispy ribs coated in a glossy sweet and tangy sauce. We ordered : Double Steamed Chicken Soup with Fish Maw & Dried Scallop Golden Pumpkin Seafood Fried Rice Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs Steamed Birds' Nest with Whole Papaya I’d just come back from a trip, and the chicken soup was so comforting — it really warmed me from the inside. The pumpkin seafood fried rice was surprisingly good, light but full of flavour, and the prawns were super fresh. For dessert, I had bird’s nest with papaya — warm, fragrant, and so soothing. It’s known to be popular in Chinese culture for beauty and nourishment, which made it feel even more special !!

It’s a very quaint diner vibes. We went during not busy hours but I can imagine it getting packed during peak hours. The people there were absolutely lovely and the food just so yummyy! It was sooo good and piping hot! They help you if you don’t know what’s on the menu. It was such homely vibes and can’t wait to come here often We got the fried Suimai, Nasi Goreng Lestari and Bakumi Goreng. And they had yum boxed jasmine tea!!

This place has been my go-to ever since I started university. Just this Sunday, me and my group of 40 people booked Lestari. And you would think that this would lower the quality because of the number of people they had to accomodate. But nope! Food was AMAZING as always, and SERVICE was top notch. Always feels homey whenever we have our meals here. Thanks to ci Caca and crew! We love Lestari!! Nasi goreng lestari is my fav. Add pork belly and get it extra spicy! Woohoo!

This restaurant is a gem which we discovered while staying in the Chinatown area in Sydney. It is in a remote little residential area, unlike those found along the roadside but food was really good n of reasonable price. The fried kway teow and fried rice were very flavourful. My noode with roast pork was very delicious. Highly recommened.

yuki and ai were so hospitable and kind! so fun and the food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it so much! super awesome! the games were so fun to play, especially catching the fried rice and eating it after! a bit traumatised from breaking the eggs, but is all fun and games! super duper awesome and definitely recommending to my family and friends because it was so great and a great experience. the only other time i have been to tepanyaki was in 2018, and this was such a fun experience that everybody loved, it was so exciting and the atmosphere was so joyful and the songs were so silly and funny! an amazing place to go to celebrate events or special gatherings!

Excellent, friendly service. Food was tasty. Atmosphere within the restaurant was loud and good times were had. The cooking show by our chef was very ordinary. Lacked personality and flamboyance. Was really disappointed with it when compared to other Teppanyaki restaurants we've dined at, not only in Sydney but around the world. Definitely not value for money.

This is a surprisingly good place to eat. The food is awesome. Very tasty & made to your desired level of chillie hot. Very affordable. The ambiance is OK nothing outstanding but it is neat & clean. The restroom however needs urgent & tender loving attention. In the heart of Sydney's CBD, parking is difficult, however if you arrive by train to Central station it is an easy five minute walk from platform to restaurant. Friendly & helpful service. Highly recommend it.

Tasty, good amount. Looks small but authentic, desserts and naan are wonderful. Be careful when choosing the spicy, they’re really spicy.
