5 Star Rating We enjoyed the calamari, truffle pizza, and pasta—all were delicious and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and our food arrived quickly. It’s best to reserve a table ahead of time, as there was a wait for walk-ins. Overall, a great dining experience!

5 Star Rating Well located and packed even into the evening and before closing time. Then a friend suggested meeting here with the chums for lunch over the weekend and I discovered why it is so. A lively atmosphere, always good for group dining from mains to desserts plus prompt service from the ever attentive waiters. Most importantly, the portions were great, we ordered 3 flavors of wood fired pizza and a lamb shank.

4 Star Rating Overall the food was great. Nicely cooked pizza and tender ribs with slightly tartness apple on top. I would go back again but not during rush hour. Either need to make reservation in advance or wait in the line. That’s why we went around 4 pm before dinner rush. I don’t usually give 5 stars for service because I could always find some mistakes. A few things they stand out. 1 the music level isn’t too loud 2 the AC didn’t make us feel like we were eating at North Pole. 3 we sat right next to the waiter station and after the host cleaned the table. He slammed it down at the station, my husband jump on him. He immediately apologized for it. At first, I thought “oh great now every waiter and waitress is going to slam dishes and silverware on the counter non stop” but they didn’t. I watched them work closely. All waitress put the dishes and silverware down gently and tried not to make too much noise. That was good training.

5 Star Rating My friend and I ordered a Margherita pizza, a seafood salad, and a tomato gnocchi. My friend especially liked the pizza; she loved its texture and flavor. As for me, I absolutely loved the seafood salad. It was large, full of various kinds of seafood (large prawns, large octopus legs, large calamari), and was well seasoned. The vegetables in it were also very fresh. We loved the vibe in the restaurant as well.

5 Star Rating They offer healthy, homestyle food with a friendly-neighbourhood ambience. The staff are very kind and polite and are very accommodating to your dietary preferences, allergies and food restrictions. The food is delicious! And totally a must for rice and noodle lovers! Make sure to reserve your table as it seems very popular among locals, Asians and Indians in the area. The only downside is that they take slightly longer than other restaurants to prepare the food but you'll forget that in a jiffy once you taste their dishes! Besides, it feels good to know that your food has been freshly prepared.

3 Star Rating We had dinner here on a busy Friday night. The Treasure Pot was nice with its tender tofu and fresh veggies, though the sauce was a touch sweeter than I’d hoped. The San Chow Pow was crisp and light, while the Sze Chuan Noodle Soup was comforting and loaded with greens, just lacked the spicy kick I was expecting. Service was a bit slow with the dinner rush, but the staff was friendly. Overall, a solid spot for vegetarian eats in the city— nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying

5 Star Rating What a wonderful dinner!! It's always such a treat when you have an entire menu to pick from, and this is an excessively extensive menu, which did make it quite hard to decide what to go for. Not a bad problem to have. In the end I went for one of the "soya bean" dishes which seemed to be like a tempura battered soy protein type thing I've definitely never had something like that before which is why I chose it. The dish also had broccoli and two other types of tofu and the sauce was perfectly balanced. I also had the curry puff to start which was delicious the pastry texture was just perfect and the apricot dipping sauce was unmatched. The venue itself was quite small and very full because of how good the food is!! However that said some people did seem to have to wait some time for their food but at the same point there was no pressure or rush to leave so it was very relaxed and the staff were incredibly kind. I absolutely recommend a visit.

5 Star Rating This is one of my favorite Chinese vegetarian restaurants in Sydney. Each time I have visitors come to visit me, I sure to bring them here to entertain them. They all acknowledged it was the best Chinese vegetarian foods they ever had. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully and thoughtfully presented with an excellent selection choices. The owner was courteous and friendly. The decor was clean and intimate, suitable for friends to get together. I would recommend this restaurant unreservedly to my friends who enjoy vegetarian cuisine.

4 Star Rating This restaurant offers a great menu with a wide variety of options. We ordered a selection of stews, including beef stew, pork bone stew, and tofu and beef stew. Each dish was served piping hot, with rich, bold flavors and a satisfying kick that made every bite mouthwatering. The broth was well-balanced, deeply flavorful, and absolutely delicious. One of the best Korean restaurants in the city!

5 Star Rating This hidden retreat has really delicious sides that get refilled for free! The waiter was very attentive to our needs, offering aprons when he saw our light coloured clothes. The other guests seemed to be enjoying their kbbq, although we got cheese rice cakes and beef tofu stew. Both delicious and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and location. 5 stars all round. 6 for service.

4 Star Rating One of my go-to Korean spots in the CBD for a quick and satisfying lunch. Even when dining alone, they serve a generous set of 6 side dishes — and what’s great is that they change them up every time, so it never gets boring. The restaurant is usually quiet during lunchtime, which means no queues and a relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a short lunch break. The lunch menu offers good variety and is quite affordable, with plenty of options under $25. A nice bonus: complimentary cinnamon tea and lollies at the end. Great value and a pleasant experience every time!

2 Star Rating The food was disappointing for the price point. The presentation was well done. However, in general all dishes’ flavours were “separate” and inharmonious, e.g. you can taste the salt away from the food itself (so it tasted confusingly salty but bland at the same time), and the side sauce/puree were often bland and did not blend well with the main dish. The garnish for both our lamb appetiser and salmon main dish was too burnt and produced an unfortunate bitter taste. With regard to service, the server became quite short/terse with us as soon as we said we won’t order drinks/wine (we do not drink). All in all it was quite a disappointing experience for the price point. I hope this is a one time occurrence, as the restaurant has a good review, and I trust others had a better experience.

5 Star Rating I visited on a Friday night with my partner, we ordered the oysters, salmon and the pasta special with chorizo, haloumi and spinach. We both found the food great for the price point; the oysters were very fresh and my salmon being perfectly cooked and delicious however, the fettuccine was stuck together and slightly undercooked which was unfortunate as the flavour was amazing! Our highlight were the two waitors who looked after us they were truly exceptional, extremely attentive and friendly. We would definitely return just for the great service :)

5 Star Rating One of best Italian at CBD. The service at this restaurant was similar to what I experienced in Italy, with refined hospitality. It's a traditional Italian-style service. Moreover, just like in Italy, the carpaccio served here is fresh and not heavily dressed. You can enjoy carpaccio here just like the authentic one in Italy.

4 Star Rating Great little Greek restaurant in the CDB. Slight retro 70's vibe to it, however it feels very traditional with quality Hellenic memorabilia on the walls. Food was good, however the dolmades were a bit too soggy for my liking. Also, the staff are a little overzealous about taking plates away when there was still food remaining. On a couple of occasions, one of the waiters reached over my shoulder from behind me to snatch a plate off the table without me knowing he was there, which startled me. Staff should be told to politely ask customers first if they have finished before going to take plates away.

5 Star Rating Lovely Greek restaurant in CBD. Not sure if there was another entrance but the only one we saw had to go down some steep stairs. First time here so was amazed at the food and how yummy it was. Serving of food huge. Spanakopita was very nice to share. Decor was beautiful and loved the toilet see photos. Price was reasonable. Cooking was like home cook meal. Delicious.

5 Star Rating Great food! Lamb souvlaki was soo soft and tasty, great fries too. Prawn saganaki was very good too. Saganaki cheese was different but still good and the dolmades were soft and good! Side note: try not to seat near toilets as it smells of naphthalene balls a lot. Maybe a way to improve would be getting those ones that smell good. Staff were really friendly hence we gave 10% tip!

5 Star Rating I had such a great time at Diethnes! We came as a big group of 15. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. They handled multiple dietary requirements with ease and had lots of gluten free and vegan options available. As a coeliac, I felt completely safe — the team was knowledgeable and took cross-contamination seriously. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. Highly recommend!

4 Star Rating Second time came here and always looking for the plumpy scampi (my favorite). But this time I had a slight delay for 15-25 mins for a dish to come out. It was not a busy day or during lunch break, but might be some other problems I think. At first my orders were come in a timely manner but when I did my second / third order, the slight delay happened. Fortunately, I was in no rush. But always good to come back.

3 Star Rating It’s a sushi restaurant which has a belt serving. As a tourist, here bring us the memories in Japan. However, since it’s in Australia, you can’t have high expectations on its jap food. The sushi rice is warm and they do not serve free green tea. Still, if you wanna get back some jap food, here maybe an option.
