This place has a line during dinner so it’s advisable to book your tables then you can skip the line. The ambience and service is pretty impeccable.
The food was pretty good but then I am pretty spoilt for good Italian 🇮🇹 food in Perth so to me it was not like knock my socks off tasty. I can’t compare it to other Sydney restaurants as cannot compare to it locally. But the quality of the food and the portions is good.
The next day we came back during the day for their takeaway coffee and it was real good 👍🏽

The staff are warm and welcoming. The food is great. I am a small person so the serving is big for me. But for everybody else, I think it is just right. The sauces of the big BBQ platter is awesome. I love the one with truffle. I think it was the manager but he was so kind to explain what are those sauces. The staff who served us are fun and welcoming helping us with the food choices, the items we need for our table and take out. It is a fun experience and my tummy is so happy with the first restaurant I visited here in Sydney.

🥩 Grilled Beef Ribs – 49🔪
Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended!!
The beef is grilled to be super fragrant and tender, with a BBQ and sweet bourbon glaze.
It’s so soft that the meat just falls right off the bone with a gentle cut.
Nothing more to say — this dish is totally worth it!
🍕 Pizza – Prosciutto – 34🔪
Red sauce base, topped generously with layers of Italian Parma ham.
Finished with fresh rocket leaves, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
The crust is really soft, easy to roll up in your hand.
Every bite is so full of layers of flavor, with the rocket adding just the perfect touch.
Super fragrant, super authentic Italian pizza!

While I walked in, I immediately love the atmosphere. Customers were enjoying the food at the table happily enjoying the delicious food. The waitress Angel who served us was very helpful and cheerful. I will highly recommend this restaurant to my friends who visit Sydney. Cheers!

We stopped by on a rainy Friday night. A large pizzeria with a varied menu. The staff was very welcoming and the food was really good. We ordered the BBQ octopus starter (excellent, highly recommended) and then a delicious Chicken Fungi pizza. That plus a bottle of beer came to $69. A good price for two people. The place is large, but it can get a bit noisy when it's full.

Absolutely fantastic place, we were so happy to find a Chinese restaurant that is both vegan and has plenty of gluten free options for those with intolerances. Mother Chu herself is delightful, very sweet and offers excellent service. We got a variety of dishes and all were top quality in taste and fair serving sizes, but our absolute favourite was the 8 grain desert with rice balls, which had sesame in them! The flavours were so well balanced, it was rich but not heavy, and the texture of the rice was perfect. Good came out within 15 minutes of ordering and I also really appreciated that there was no background music and it was easy to talk to one another.

This was highly recommended by someone, and we wanted to try how a complete vegetarian Chinese restaurant will taste like ! And it was as really great! There were lots of options and had added pictures to make your choice as a lot of ingredients were unknown and a lot of dishes we tried for the first time ! We had a great time picking and choosing and everything tasted great.. couldn’t really pick up on anything negative. Service however faltered.. dishes were brought in late, the server kept forgetting things that we had asked for and that basically costed them five stars. A good food accompanied by good service is what people come for. However still thing the restaurant is great and a must try if you are in city

Quality & Taste: This is a vegan restaurant I’ve passed by many times, and now I can’t believe I didn’t visit sooner. It’s absolutely delicious. The menu is varied, the seasoning is just right, and the mushroom texture was so good that I already want to go back.
Service: The staff all speak fluent English, which made it feel quite different from other Chinese restaurants.
Price & Value: The prices are reasonable and well worth what you get.
Atmosphere & Ambiance: The inside is cleaner than it looks from the outside. It’s well-organized, and the tableware was spotless

I’ve been trying to eat vegan for a month, and I usually cook for myself — but this time I decided to try this place. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious!
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great vegan food. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is heaven for vegetarians. The food is delicious. There are SO many options. We ordered the San Choy Bow and Crispy Tofu as entrees and then the Honey Pumpkin and Braised Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce for mains. There wasn't a single bad dish. Everything was amazing. The honey pumpkin was amazing, so crispy. We also ordered a 'Lemon juice' to drink. You must try this. It was so good. The staff are so friendly too.

A hidden gem for meat lovers! They serve both grilled meat and hotpot, with excellent meat quality and flavors that are rich yet refreshing. The place can be a little hard to find, but it’s so worth it once you dine here. Enjoying the meal with friends makes the experience even more delightful. Highly recommended for a cozy and satisfying food adventure!

The ginseng chicken, fried chicken were great. Seafood pancake a bit oily and Tteokbokki a bit hard. Overall we enjoyed the lunch/afternoon tea and would come back again.

We tried the all-you-can-eat option with a 20% discount, and it was worth it! There were so many food choices — plenty of meats, side dishes to enjoy.
The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond whenever we needed something. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience. Would happily come back again!

This hidden retreat has really delicious sides that get refilled for free! The waiter was very attentive to our needs, offering aprons when he saw our light coloured clothes.
The other guests seemed to be enjoying their kbbq, although we got cheese rice cakes and beef tofu stew. Both delicious and reasonably priced.
Great atmosphere and location. 5 stars all round. 6 for service.

I saw a good rating on the map and decided the come for dinner
Though the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, there was no ramp at the ally turning in to the restaurant.
We didn’t know we had to turn in the ally corning cos according on the map, it’s on the Main Street.
They have all you can eat, but we did A La Carte.
We ordered beef and glass noodles.
While everyone said they liked the beef, me as a person living in Japan didn’t like the beef taste at all.
So I think this is an individual problem.
Looks like they also cater tour groups.
Just stereotyping, if a restaurant do tour groups at the same time all you can eat. I think their food quality might not be as good.
That was the reason y I didn’t like the taste at all.

What an absolute delightful experience! Old world charm at this restaurant. Think white linen table cloths, linen napkins gently placed on your lap, old school maitre d. Impeccable service. Provided a detailed description of the specials, the Chef would be appreciative and impressed. He knew the dishes well and made wonderful recommendations.
We had the beef carpaccio- with horseradish - the beef so thinly sliced with shavings of Parmesan melted in your mouth. The stuffed zucchini flowers with ricotta and spinach were perfect. The snapper with potato salad, divine. The deconstructed tiramisu 😋 good lord it was good!
The service was immaculate. Attentive, professional in all the detail. It was a wonderful dining experience, the food was perfect, the service above par.
Do yourself a favour, don’t judge a restaurant if you think it isn’t “high end”. This restaurant hit all the marks, ticked all the boxes. Good food, exceptional service. What a great find!!! An absolute gem. Thank you for our dining experience 🙌
Frantastic Foodie Finds - 2 weeks ago
The food was disappointing for the price point. The presentation was well done. However, in general all dishes’ flavours were “separate” and inharmonious, e.g. you can taste the salt away from the food itself (so it tasted confusingly salty but bland at the same time), and the side sauce/puree were often bland and did not blend well with the main dish. The garnish for both our lamb appetiser and salmon main dish was too burnt and produced an unfortunate bitter taste.
With regard to service, the server became quite short/terse with us as soon as we said we won’t order drinks/wine (we do not drink). All in all it was quite a disappointing experience for the price point.
I hope this is a one time occurrence, as the restaurant has a good review, and I trust others had a better experience.

The staff are kind, friendly and polite. The olive oil is very tasty. All the dishes were delicious, but the dessert creme brûlée was creamy and exquisite.

Every year (well the last two years) I have a group lunch there. It’s central to the city, food is great, service is 100%, and never crowded. Always able to accommodate the group of around a dozen, no problem.

Our group of three each had a different type of dish and each one tasted amazing. The gnocchi was soft and fluffy, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the angel hair pasta was delicious. I also highly recommend their desserts, each one crafted with care.
It was an amazing experience.

Service was attentive and good. We ordered the vegetarian moussaka and lamb casserole. The sauce on the lamb casserole was too watery and thin although the meat was very soft. Moussaka has nice flavours

Great little Greek restaurant in the CDB. Slight retro 70's vibe to it, however it feels very traditional with quality Hellenic memorabilia on the walls. Food was good, however the dolmades were a bit too soggy for my liking. Also, the staff are a little overzealous about taking plates away when there was still food remaining. On a couple of occasions, one of the waiters reached over my shoulder from behind me to snatch a plate off the table without me knowing he was there, which startled me. Staff should be told to politely ask customers first if they have finished before going to take plates away.

Great homely Greek restaurant in the Sydney CBD. Clearly a family run restaurant that delivers phenomenal Greek food. Our order:
Tzatziki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Grilled Octopus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lamb souvlaki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were served by Sam who was lovely. Would come again and recommend highly to everyone

Lovely Greek restaurant in CBD. Not sure if there was another entrance but the only one we saw had to go down some steep stairs. First time here so was amazed at the food and how yummy it was. Serving of food huge. Spanakopita was very nice to share. Decor was beautiful and loved the toilet see photos. Price was reasonable. Cooking was like home cook meal. Delicious.

Nice sushi bar with plenty of options and great service. Good for a quick bite. Love their paradise prawn, scallop uni don, paradise scallop, scampi handroll.

Second time came here and always looking for the plumpy scampi (my favorite). But this time I had a slight delay for 15-25 mins for a dish to come out. It was not a busy day or during lunch break, but might be some other problems I think. At first my orders were come in a timely manner but when I did my second / third order, the slight delay happened. Fortunately, I was in no rush. But always good to come back.

The OG of the sushi trains. Haven't been here in years. They still do the oyster omelette quite well.
Denise (Dee) - 2 months ago
Great sushi place, easy to get to by train. Only wished there were more variety, and the price can be pretty high. But then again sushis are so expensive in Australia.
Nothing particularly bad about the atmosphere, just thought it could do with a little more comfort for the price.
Stan Edric - a week ago
It’s a sushi restaurant which has a belt serving. As a tourist, here bring us the memories in Japan. However, since it’s in Australia, you can’t have high expectations on its jap food. The sushi rice is warm and they do not serve free green tea. Still, if you wanna get back some jap food, here maybe an option.
