Overall the food was great. Nicely cooked pizza and tender ribs with slightly tartness apple on top. I would go back again but not during rush hour. Either need to make reservation in advance or wait in the line. That’s why we went around 4 pm before dinner rush. I don’t usually give 5 stars for service because I could always find some mistakes. A few things they stand out. 1 the music level isn’t too loud 2 the AC didn’t make us feel like we were eating at North Pole. 3 we sat right next to the waiter station and after the host cleaned the table. He slammed it down at the station, my husband jump on him. He immediately apologized for it. At first, I thought “oh great now every waiter and waitress is going to slam dishes and silverware on the counter non stop” but they didn’t. I watched them work closely. All waitress put the dishes and silverware down gently and tried not to make too much noise. That was good training.

We couldn’t get a reservation at our intended restaurant, so we decided to walk in to this place on a whim. All the staff were very kind and created a welcoming atmosphere with their excellent service. Of course, the food was absolutely delicious. The popular beef dish and the recommended mushroom pizza were outstanding. It became a great memory of our trip, and we hope to visit again on our last morning.

Really good food though it gets busy at peak times. My favourite pizza is the prosciutto, but pepperoni wasn't bad too. Salmon pasta was nice and very filling. Also had the ribs and fried calamari which were really good.

Great quality food and portions for the price. Came here for a work lunch with my team on a Thursday and thankfully we book a table in advance as it was almost full. Drinks arrived quickly and the food is very good. I ordered the beef cheek pappardelle and everyone enjoyed their pizza and pasta. Staff seemed rushed and very busy with so many people. Unfortunately they didn’t let us split the bill.

I recently visited Machiato Pizza and had a bit of a mixed experience. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive. However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The ribs were bland with little to no flavor, and the pizza was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. While the atmosphere was nice, the food could use some improvement to match the great service.

This is one of my favorite Chinese vegetarian restaurants in Sydney. Each time I have visitors come to visit me, I sure to bring them here to entertain them. They all acknowledged it was the best Chinese vegetarian foods they ever had. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully and thoughtfully presented with an excellent selection choices. The owner was courteous and friendly. The decor was clean and intimate, suitable for friends to get together. I would recommend this restaurant unreservedly to my friends who enjoy vegetarian cuisine.

Delicious food and great service. The only thing I would suggest is that the photo quality of the menu could be improved especially with the amount of options available. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. Overall a positive experience!

First picture looks like micky mouse anyways prices were kind of expensive for what it’s worth, the food was interesting because everything is vegetarian so we had a lot of tofu and other stuff. Deep fried but very oily, serving sizes were quite tiny. Found the dishes to be quite dry but idk

This was our second time at Mother Chu’s. It is strictly vegan and they have a variety of dishes that mimic meat. I enjoyed a steamed bun with a barbecued filling. I’ve never had a steamed bun before but it was delicious and filling. I had the wonton noodle soup which had 4 nice sized wontons and a tasty broth. Hubs and I shared the Mongolian style gluten dish. You get a lot of food. Not a lot of ambiance but always crowded as the food is that good. Our server is a very special woman who we met last year when our friend brought us there and she remembered us. It is definitely a place we will return to when we visit Sydney.

An amazing fun menu with lots of classics you usually can’t get as a veggie. Mother was a great host, always filling up our water. Will be returning, seitan, tempeh, mushroom and tofu options for all veggie preferences. Decent portion sizes but would recommend at least 2 dishes as they are so good.

This restaurant offers a great menu with a wide variety of options. We ordered a selection of stews, including beef stew, pork bone stew, and tofu and beef stew. Each dish was served piping hot, with rich, bold flavors and a satisfying kick that made every bite mouthwatering. The broth was well-balanced, deeply flavorful, and absolutely delicious. One of the best Korean restaurants in the city!

I absolutely love this Korean BBQ place. I first came here 10 years ago, and even though I live overseas now, every time I'm back in Sydney we come to visit here. It's probably my husband's favourite restaurant in Sydney too. Great value and quality all you can eat buffet.

Good selection/variety of meats and great service. Very attentive to changing the grill regularly and timely service. Good value for a buffet in comparison to ordering a la carte. Side dishes like steamed egg and stews are good portion sizes.

Great food - good quality meat for reasonable price. Really really good service - very attentive and smart, says a lot these days. Unprompted side dish refill. I used to come here years ago and will likely frequent this place again.

My partner and I come here quite often. For us, it’s amazing! From the friendly service. To the array of different choices from BBQ, Noodles, Fried Chicken, side dishes and many more if I could go on. Quality is consistent and we highly recommend this place!!

I visited on a Friday night with my partner, we ordered the oysters, salmon and the pasta special with chorizo, haloumi and spinach. We both found the food great for the price point; the oysters were very fresh and my salmon being perfectly cooked and delicious however, the fettuccine was stuck together and slightly undercooked which was unfortunate as the flavour was amazing! Our highlight were the two waitors who looked after us they were truly exceptional, extremely attentive and friendly. We would definitely return just for the great service :)

One of best Italian at CBD. The service at this restaurant was similar to what I experienced in Italy, with refined hospitality. It's a traditional Italian-style service. Moreover, just like in Italy, the carpaccio served here is fresh and not heavily dressed. You can enjoy carpaccio here just like the authentic one in Italy.

Fine dining in a welcoming setting that’s clean and crisp. Attentive wait staff, without any fuss. Generous wine pours and meal sizes, with a modest menu length of Italian favourites. They kindly accommodated walk-in sitting for a group of 5. Would recommend for sure.

Great food! Lamb souvlaki was soo soft and tasty, great fries too. Prawn saganaki was very good too. Saganaki cheese was different but still good and the dolmades were soft and good! Side note: try not to seat near toilets as it smells of naphthalene balls a lot. Maybe a way to improve would be getting those ones that smell good. Staff were really friendly hence we gave 10% tip!

Staff are friendly and the food tastes great. I couldn’t believe I’ve not noticed this place in all my time living in Sydney. Would definitely recommend. One downside was the speed of the service. It was so quick that you feel a little rushed.

We had a delicious lunch for three people. We did make a reservation - perhaps not needed for a Tuesday as there was a lot of sitting available even for walk-ins. We do recommend this place if you are looking for a Greek cuisine restaurant.

What a hidden gem! We enjoyed a delicious dinner of Greek classics, opting for some a la carte items that were both authentic and tasty. Nostalgia with fond favourites that did not disappoint! Our host Theo was welcoming, attentive and his tremendous service added to the wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

It’s a sushi restaurant which has a belt serving. As a tourist, here bring us the memories in Japan. However, since it’s in Australia, you can’t have high expectations on its jap food. The sushi rice is warm and they do not serve free green tea. Still, if you wanna get back some jap food, here maybe an option.

Love it love it love it ….my go to place for lunch or dinner when in Sydney Fresh well priced and excellent sushi train - sadly no alcohol (but that’s okay too) Food is always excellent and it has a sushi train which I love or you can order off the menu The menu is a iPad which you order drinks midi soup green tea or special order food Everything is really good and staff very helpful

Fantastic sushi here. I got a to go order and the salmon was so fresh. Loved the option of ordering a set that had one of each favourites as this has the opportunity to try a little bit of everything without committing to buying a full set. Would definite recommend
