We celebrated my milestone birthday at the highest point in Sydney’s CBD, Infinity by Mark Best at Centrepoint Tower.
We first saw Mark compete on Final Table against international chefs and loved his creativity, so we were excited to finally try his food. It did not disappoint. Every dish was executed to a high calibre, celebrating fine Australian produce with Mark’s signature twist. We couldn’t fault a single plate. I especially loved the squid risotto and the duck served with a beautiful plum sauce. The desserts were exceptional too, especially the passionfruit curd and sorbet paired with the additional celebration cake we ordered.
We were well looked after by Marten, a seasoned waiter who was charming and attentive. As a rotating restaurant, every table is the best table, and the city views are truly one of a kind.
As a bonus, we even bumped into the mastermind himself, Mark Best, just as we were heading to the elevator. He was so lovely and took photos with us, which made the day even more special.

The whole experience was amazing, the view, the food and the staff. I came with my husband for Valentine's day/our wedding anniversary. We loved the rose we were given as part of the Valentine's promotion as well. All the staff are super knowledgeable and can answer any questions you might have. We were looked after by Marten who was so lovely and he was kind enough to take some nice photos for us as well. The food was so fine, fresh and tasty. We will always remember coming here and hope to do it again soon. Thanks for making our day special.

The relatively new restaurant in Sydney Tower did not disappoint. Went up the elevator and got out to be warmly greeted by Katie who seated us at a nice table with an excellent view of the city. Sandro was the consummate professional, explained all the dishes in great detail with a smile. The service from Sandro was excellent, that alone is worth a return visit. Food was expectedly very good. The snacks included oysters, a special that looked like an oyster that had complex flavours, and potato fritters. The sourdough was great as well. The calamari entree is worth the order. The Murray cod was delicate and perfectly seasoned. Desserts were decadent particularly the sweet wine custard. Excellent food and service with a view.

Dining at Infinity is an exceptional experience. The service was outstanding. Special mention to Mattia, the sommelier whose advice was spot on. The wine and drinks he suggested were perfect for our meal. Juli also offered suggestions of wine to pair with our meals which were perfect. Sandro’s welcome began this amazing night. Our meal had interesting and tasty dishes.
The setting was perfect and I can’t speak highly enough of the service from Mattia, Juli and Sandro.

I’ve never written a negative review for a restaurant before, but I felt compelled to after this experience—especially given the price point and the occasion. We booked this restaurant for our 2-year anniversary and genuinely wanted to love it. With the glowing reviews, we came in with high expectations.
Drinks
I started with an Amaretto Sour, which arrived tasting like it was missing the sour component entirely. It was sent back and returned improved - but have had better. Not a huge issue on its own, but not a promising start either.
Entrée – Potato & Duck Liver Fritter
The duck liver mousse was delicious, but the fritter itself was soggy on the underside instead of crisp all over, which was disappointing because the flavours had potential.
Main – Steamed Murray Cod, Fish Milk, Sorrel & Fermented Potatoes
This dish was confusing from presentation (see first photo) to flavour. The fish was completely covered by two large, semi-wilted sorrel leaves, making it unclear what we were looking at when it arrived. The cod was fresh but very bland, the sorrel leaves were overwhelmingly sour and raw. The fermented potatoes tasted like stale sour potatoes. The flavours didn’t complement each other at all. Perhaps our palettes are just not refined enough for such a flavour profile?
Sides – Hand Cut Chips, Salt & Vinegar
I’m a huge chip lover, but these were genuinely inedible. The vinegar was so overpowering. For the first time ever, I left a bowl of chips almost untouched. That’s with my partner being a salt and vinegar guy as well.
We truly wanted to enjoy this restaurant, especially for such a special occasion. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a single dish we’d feel comfortable recommending to friends or family. However the service was fantastic. The view was beautiful.
I don’t criticise lightly, and it’s not in my nature to write negative reviews, but spending $650 on a meal that left us so disappointed felt worth mentioning. We understand that part of the cost is the view and the service but we did expect more from such a highly regarded restaurant.

I've dined here before so know you'll always get a varied and great wine list. What impressed me with a recent visit (after too long of a gap between visits) is how good the food is - compliments to the chef. Some real stand outs including the terrine, fried scamorza, schnitzel, steak and peppercorn sauce. Even the bread was so tasty. The Madeleines are the cherry on top and are so good. Look forward to visiting again.

Weird vibe - kind of loved it, kind of felt uncomfortable at times. A couple of obnoxious loud staff - manager sipping on resches and wine with one member clearly tipsy from negronis - A couple of wasted guys on martini’s. Even the chef chef sipping on ale.
Wine was really nice and food pretty good - cool if you are after a similar vibe just wasn’t expecting it when we decided on a city wine bar! Would come back if they calm their team down a bit and get a bit more professional.

I booked a team Christmas lunch for a group of 12. While I had been to Fix before the rest of team had not.. I decided we’d do shared plates for entrees & mains - The food was amazing! Drinks wise - I gave a price range per bottle for wine and the guys facilitated that brilliantly, we had two types of white and two types of red. The food recommendations were perfect in terms of portions as there was nothing left over. Everyone in the group commented on how well we were looked after and they’d all go back! Deffo recommend!

Nice food great wines! Lovely atmosphere for a date. The tiramisu was amazing with icecream inside very innovative. Squid ink pasta with seafood was delicious if you are a pasta person. Highly recommend. Quiet place to talk to.

Amazingly good food, good atmosphere, with great service! Julia, our server, provided insights into the food and wine, as well as Sydney and what Sydney has to offer these first time visitors to this amazing area. We sat at the bar and enjoyed oysters, chicken skewers, pasta, wine, and tiramisu, 5 stars all the way. If 6 were an option, Pendolino (and Julia) would have it.

I have rated this low because it’s a very dark restaurant top floor of the port street mall. We found it when doing some Christmas shopping and felt like Italian food. Confusingly there is a bar area in front of the restaurant with a smaller menu. We chose to sit there. We had a carafe of a nice Italian wine which was combined rather than ordering a bottle. I had the mushroom risotto and fennel salad which was delicious and my partner ate a pasta that he didn’t enjoy that much. The bathrooms are situated a floor above that you access by lift which takes ages to get to the floor so coming down same story. Very average. Menu limited. Staff helpful in an unfriendly manner. Riddle wine glasses really mind blowing though.

The serving staff were very friendly and truly deserve recognition. Although there is usually a time limit for dining, I noticed that they kindly allowed a little extra time for an elderly couple sitting behind us. It may have been because the lunch buffet was almost over, but I found the gesture very thoughtful and impressive. I was genuinely touched by the level of service at this buffet.
The view is absolutely stunning. If you visit for lunch on a beautiful day, you can fully enjoy the breathtaking Sydney skyline.
The meat was slightly tough, and the line at the seafood station was a bit long, which was somewhat inconvenient. However, overall the food was enjoyable. The oysters were fresh, and the desserts were good as well.
I think it’s definitely a place worth visiting at least once in your lifetime.

Celebrated a 50th Birthday here... The atmosphere and views are stunning. In the main the food was great but the choice wasn't as good as we expected. The seafood choice was excellent. The drinks service could have been much improved but overall a good experience.

I had my 40th birthday party organised for my family and a small group of friends. I must say, the entire process was incredibly professional.
I was very impressed with the communication with regards to seats and timing, the extra care and attention we had from wait staff, my separate plate of cakes with a birthday message, and of course the food and the view are always fantastic. There was even fireworks that night.
I've been there a couple of times prior to the dinner last Tuesday, and I will definitely be going back there again.

Had an incredible dinner at SkyFeast in the Sydney Tower! If you're looking for the best 360-degree views of the city, this is it. We arrived just in time for sunset, and watching the city lights come on from 1,014 feet (309m) above the ground is an experience you won't forget.
The Rotation: The entire restaurant rotates while you eat! It’s a very smooth, subtle movement that completes a full circle every 70–80 minutes. It’s the perfect way to see everything from the Opera House to the Blue Mountains without ever leaving your seat.
The Food: It’s a massive international buffet. The seafood station (oysters, prawns, mussels) was fresh and a highlight. They have everything from roasts and pasta to Asian-inspired dishes and even kangaroo. Make sure to save room for the dessert bar—the cakes and mousses were delicious.
The View: I’d highly recommend booking a window table in advance if you want those unobstructed photos.
Arrival: Head to Level 4 of Westfield Sydney to find the express lifts.
Awards: They have their 2022 "Award for Excellence" on display, and it’s clear they are still maintaining that high standard today.
Overall, it's a world-class experience and a must-do for anyone visiting or living in Sydney!

I visited Sky Eye Seafood Buffet tonight, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food itself was decent — they offered a selection of seafood including prawns, oysters, mussels, and a few hot dishes. It wasn’t an extremely large variety, but what they had was fresh enough and enjoyable. If you’re expecting a huge spread like some of the bigger hotel buffets, this one is a bit simpler.
What really made the visit worthwhile was the atmosphere. The view from the restaurant is impressive, especially at night with the city lights and skyline right outside the window. It gives the whole place a relaxed, elevated feeling that makes the dining experience much better. The environment is clean, comfortable, and feels quite modern.
Even though the food selection wasn’t extensive, the combination of seafood, a peaceful setting, and a great night view made it a memorable experience. I’d say it’s a good place to go if you want a calm buffet with nice scenery rather than a massive food variety. Overall, I enjoyed the night and the atmosphere definitely lifted the whole experience.

So simple yet so delicious. Hits the spot no doubt for a classic sandwich… the Will is the best thing ever and it’s the kinda thing you’d try and recreate at home but fall short. Served with a smile, made fresh and saw the worker give out freebies to our healthcare workers. Ridiculously cheap for what you’re getting, such a good well kept secret.

I had the gluten free chicken and prosciutto sandwich (toasted). It was lovely and I especially loved the Gorgonzola 😻 I did find my gluten free bread to be pretty dry and super crusty. I know it can be hard to find good gf options… also I just felt like a little pepper and tomato would be a great addition to this sandwich.

Enjoyed this place as they had veggie and vegan options! Service was great. Got the veg Mediterranean on sourdough, which was excellent and my partner got the Tempeh Burger (removed Tabouli) on sourdough and he enjoyed that. Would recommend. It’s a grab and go shop, so have to find a bench elsewhere but would highly recommend!

The sandwiches the people trapped in that tiny little space were able to create were absolutely amazing. Who would have thought cranberry, beets, and prosciutto would taste so good together. Loved it.

There were issues with the food that let the stars down unfortunately. The first was my prawn pasta - the prawns were not deveined. I didn't notice at first and bit into one and it put me off the dish but I was with people that I didn't want to be embarrassed so continued to devein them myself and eat the pasta itself which was very good. You would expect at this type of restaurant that the prawns would be properly prepared. The second issue was every dish was extremely salty, overwhelming. Not food related but we asked for Grappa and specifically asked the price before we ordered, was told a price per pour and then after we drank it was told a different price. This really annoyed me and should not be done. We all enjoyed our own company and the ambiance of the restaurant apart from those things and would give it another chance. The best dish was the Panna Cotta.

We went to Bambini Trust to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we had a great experience from start to finish. We started with the bread, which was warm and fresh followed by the scallops perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The highlight and whole reason we came was the caviar, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
For mains, we shared the prawn pasta, which was rich, buttery and delicious. Every dish felt thoughtful and indulgent, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. Can’t wait to come back.

We came here today for lunch and we booked for 12pm and requested an outdoor table but it was raining so we asked to sit inside. There was a lady who was very helpful in trying to accommodate us, she organised a free glass of champagne while we waited. And within 20 minutes we were seated at a table inside. Food is great, we tried the cod and pasta, both nice. highly recommend the flourless chocolate cake! But mostly, the service here is outstanding, they know how to treat customers and leave a good impression. Will be back.

I had dinner here. The food was great, and the staff were amazing. The pasta is a bit salty for my liking, and the chocolate flourless cake is a bit dry too, but overall it was a solid dinner. The space inside is quite small. Everything is good, suitable for a date night
