5 Star Rating We visited Infinity by Mark Best for a birthday celebration and to see the iconic views of Sydney and were blown away by the incredible food. Standouts for me were the buffalo fried mushrooms and the Sea urchin crumpet starters and the roast lamb main was unique and very tasty. To top it off all of the wine selection were Australian which we all really loved. The service and experience was some of the best I’ve ever had. Would absolutely go back, over and over again.

4 Star Rating Food is average, rating is purely based on service and atmosphere. I had the abalone, sword fish and a some jelly dessert. 360 degree revolving restaurant, amazing view from the top. Perfect place to sip cocktails and drink. I had 3 courses meal + 3 drinks for approximately $200. Cocktail was good, so was the wine selection. Complimentary bread and butter were good and great start to my meal. Staffs were polite and attentive. It was a perfect sunny Saturday to enjoy the view of Sydney. Definitely an experience worth trying if you are a tourist.

3 Star Rating My husband book Infinity for lunch.Arrived there on time and on checking with tight security was overwhelming. The view on top level is amazing. The service was excellent. The bread was nice and fresh with double salt butter melted in my mouth. The main food is bit let down, steak was nice and tender but no flavour and there was a dark burn taste sauce, I mean side dishes was very simple. Maybe I will go back for the view.

5 Star Rating I had an excellent lunch of oysters, steak tartare and wine at this unassuming but lovely place. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their wines and the number of regulars who came right when they opened at 12pm on Monday is a testament to how good they are. I had a very unique Jura style “yellow” wine from Mornington and a decent and earthy gamay from NSW. The oysters were nice and fresh but the steak tartare which was robust in terms of texture and taste stole the show - one of the best I’ve had in recent memory!

5 Star Rating I've dined here before so know you'll always get a varied and great wine list. What impressed me with a recent visit (after too long of a gap between visits) is how good the food is - compliments to the chef. Some real stand outs including the terrine, fried scamorza, schnitzel, steak and peppercorn sauce. Even the bread was so tasty. The Madeleines are the cherry on top and are so good. Look forward to visiting again.

5 Star Rating The best burger ever! We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago after a shopping trip before flying home. Fix was just round the corner from David Jones and across the road from St James station. We didn’t make a reservation, and were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and brought us water. I chose the steamed market fish with greens, sweet potato and lemon caper butter, the fish was barramundi. It was beautifully cooked, it was so moist, the sweet potato and lemon caper butter were smooth buttery and added a lovely citrus sharpness, and the greens were beautifully cooked. My husband opted for the wagyu burger, he devoured it and proclaimed it was the best burger he had ever had! It was so moist and tender and just melted in the mouth. We ordered a portion of the chips with chicken salt, that we picked at, this would be our only criticism, the chips were crunchy and well cooked but the chicken salt was a little over salty for our taste. We chose a bottle of the Domaine de L’ille ‘Porquerolles” Provence rose to accompany our lunch, which was delicious. If we come back to Sydney we would definitely come back to Fix Wine Bar.

4 Star Rating It’s a set menu offering not ala carte. Interesting tasting entree with flavors and textures. The squid ink pasta was great with the panko. Tho portion was a little small. My slow cooked lamb shoulder was not bad. They gave customers truffles to takeaway in a cute bag. And they were YUMMYYY! Fiancé booked to celebrate our engagement on the day but we didn’t get any special surprises. The ambiance was just dark with dark blinds and shelf of wines, pretty simple.

5 Star Rating Wonderful restaurant that's tucked away on the second floor of the strand arcade. Very private and relaxing atmosphere with a polite waiter team. The food was fabulous. I tried the Sydney Rock Oysters with a Tasmanian White Riesling, which was divine. For the main I had the Roman Cow's Milk Riccota Ravioli, it was delicious and not too rich. My only gripe is they don't give you any salt/pepper or extra cheese/chilli flakes on the table and no bread on the side either. For an Italian place, those table additions usually come standard. Nevertheless, it's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy dining with some privacy away from the hustle of the city. Penelope was my waitress and she was so professional and welcoming. Hope to return soon, grazie!

2 Star Rating Ok, so there's a bit of tech talk here. Been here 20+ times over the decades. The peak for my experience was first post covid opens...amazing. Tonight was an all-time low. The bread has faded. Yeah, the focaccia is still the stand out (though the charcoal thing is too recent to be nostalgic, and too old to be contemporary)...the others, poor, probably lunch service bread at dinner. Not good enough at this level. The appetiser plate has real problems. The non soup items are...ok...monochromatic.. I could go on, but there's lots else to cover. Tomato consomme peaked at restaurant Bouley, NYC early 90s. I know, I made it. It's all about the tomatoes. Here, they're so lacklustre (yeah, aussie tomatoes...errr) that the liquid is indiscipherable from its source. If it's not extraordinary, dont serve it at this level. But pastas is where this place shines. Used to. The fine pappardelle is triumphant, but when this fine, it's going to stay at its peak for 3 minutes, Max. That's why it can only be utilised for a tasting appetiser size. Sadly, here, by the time even the quickest eater gets to the halfway point, the symphony has ...ended. The boar and beef sauce has good bones (literally), though not a shred (literally) of meat to be found in a "ragu" (figuratively?) Sauce. The tagliatelle is a "coulda shoulda." Had the beautiful pasta been given 30 seconds more to bleed a little more of its starch into the sauce, it would have been a pasta dish instead of pasta with sauce. Yes, the quail egg yolk potentially acts as a liaison (literally), but it needed the dish to have that extra 30 seconds to unionise. The mixed salad i simply don't understand whatsoever. Chopped like a classic American style with lots of ingredients that all taste of nothing. This concept can work when the ingredients are extraordinary and the flavours mixed symphonically. And the dressing, well, I've actually forgotten it... not a good sign. I suspect the chocolate truffle is olive oil based. That means it didn't melt in the mouth. Maybe a warning would have helped with my expectations. The service was great and the Manager close to tears when she realised we were leaving unhappy. Its hard, but last thing wanted when you're off to a show is a deep and dark dialogue, with possible arguments about your opinion, and offers for money you don't need, and returns you don't want. I've been in her shoes. It hurts. I think if you haven't been, then, maybe. If you have, hold onto the memory. Nino, pick up the game, brother. You're charging for extraordinary, not good, or even very good. And Nino, I know you can do it.

3 Star Rating Degustation - 7 course Risotto - Heavy on the salt, but still nice Ravioli- yum Kingfish Tartare - boring, no flavour, could taste the potatoe crisp over anything else. Pea Pie - nothing special, thought it was strange having a pea pie as a main at an Italian restaurant and a pasta would have been better. Dessert - weird. Service was excellent, felt let down by the food. They did give us complementary breads and sorbet which were excellent. Need to adjust the degustation menu I think.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and part of the family - they were so personable and attentive. 3 Star Rating We visited SkyFeast for a special night out, and while the view from the top is absolutely stunning, the food really didn’t live up to the hype, especially for the $150+ price per person. The revolving restaurant experience is cool and definitely something different, but it can make you feel a little dizzy after a while. Still, watching Sydney slowly rotate around you is pretty awesome. The food was just okay—nothing terrible, but definitely not worth the premium price. The buffet selection was average, and a lot of the dishes lacked real flavour or freshness. For the cost, I expected a much higher standard. Overall, it’s worth doing once for the view and experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back just for the food.

5 Star Rating We went for the early bird lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide and well-curated selection to choose from. There was a rice, noodle, and dumplings corner with flavorful condiments, a Mediterranean section, baked seafood, jerk chicken, pasta, and a variety of baked veggies. The fresh salad section included an assortment of breads and a dedicated seafood area featuring oysters and sushi. To top it all off, there was a beautiful dessert station alongside a selection of cheeses and crackers. We especially enjoyed the desserts. The service was just as wonderful. The staff was warm and attentive, and a special thanks goes to Yashoda for her kind hospitality throughout our visit. With great views and the advantage of an early bird lunch, you're likely to score a window seat, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5 Star Rating We attended the 5pm sitting, which was perfect for viewing the city in daylight, watching the sunset, and getting some incredible nighttime views. The service was impeccable with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We opted to go the unlimited soft drink package, and I don't really think it was necessary as we had two soft drinks each. If you intend to drink a lot, then it would work out good value. There was a good variety of food available, so I think it's easy for everyone to find something they like/could eat. My one criticism of the food is that it could have been hotter. Some of the dishes I ate were just not hot enough, especially due to the fact you put them on cold plates. As it is a buffet service, by the time you get back to your seat, the food is pretty much cold. That said, I would highly recommend the experience as the views are incredible and well worth it.

5 Star Rating Had a lovely dinner at Bambini Trust Restaurant with a group of four friends. We booked online and tried to change the time by messaging them but were unable to confirm our booking. However, the staff were so accommodating and gladly found us a table. The place has a somewhat fancy vibe. Definitely lives up to the reputation (one hat). Food was absolutely delicious—classic, flavourful Italian dishes that hit the spot. Ordered whiskey sour and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had so far. Our waitress was a gem—so friendly and even taught us how to pronounce some Italian words properly. The tiramisu was divine… like, forget-your-name good. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s on the main road, but the warm, not-too-noisy ambiance more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this spot if you’re after great Italian food and a charming night out.

4 Star Rating My partner booked us a Valentine’s Day dinner here because he knows I’ve been dying to try this place. Service: The staff was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Food: The salads were absolutely amazing, definitely the highlight of the meal! However, the king prawn pasta and fish were underwhelming. The prawns didn’t quite live up to the “king prawn” expectation in size or quality. Ambiance: Cozy and intimate, but the space felt a bit tight. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but at $400+, it felt overpriced for what we got but understood it was surcharge on Valentine’s Day.
