If it’s no nonsense French cuisine you’re after then look no further than this spot. Full three course menu & a wide selection at that. Service was superb. I dropped my fork and within seconds, a replacement appeared on the table with no fuss. It is a two-hour dining session so be prepared to be ushered along with your orders & don’t think it rude. Totally enjoyed my choices…if only I could remember their French names 😁 I do remember that the creme brulee was tobfie for. Merci!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this intimate French bistro. The pork rillette, steak frites and Dame Blanche were highlights. We also enjoyed the palate cleanser lemon sorbet and vodka (though not being much of a drinker, I'd have preferred to have enjoyed the sorbet without the vodka poured on top).
Service was warm and friendly. It's a cosy, dim-lit setting that feels relaxed and welcoming. There are some interesting decorations to be observed too!
I'd be keen to visit again.

Very professionally attentive staff. The right balance of awareness and attentiveness while being partly invisible.
Amazing food. Tasty, good variety. Being French, it’s too good to have everyday.

Great dinner experience. It felt like we were in a restaurant in a small village in Southern France. Food was amazing in particular the escargot’s, beef tartare and pork medallions. For dessert we shared the tarte aux pommes which was baked to perfection. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful red from Bordeaux. Service was friendly and attentive.
A little gem in the heart of the Sydney CBD that you must visit.

I had lunch with an old friend. It’s a lovely little French restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. It is obviously well known as it was very busy. I opted for the confit de carnard (confit duck) while my friend had the cassoulet. The duck was excellent and went down very well with a glass of burgundy. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

I recently dined at Toko Sydney and was impressed by the stylish atmosphere and vibrant ambience. The setting is modern yet inviting, and the service was attentive throughout the evening.
We tried the tasting menu ($115 per head), which was beautifully presented and showcased creative flavours. However, the portion sizes were on the small side – we left feeling unsatisfied and ended up grabbing something extra afterwards.
The dishes lean more towards a fusion-style Japanese rather than traditional, which may appeal to some diners, but wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.
Overall, Toko Sydney delivers a fantastic vibe with attentive staff and creative food, but the tasting menu could offer better value and more substance.

Still one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. Tonight we opted for the omakase experience, which happened to be the last one of the year. I believe they hold this once a week for 4 months (winter) and wowww what an amazing experience!

Toko in Sydney offers an unforgettable Japanese dining experience with a perfect blend of flavour and style. The lamb skewers are tender and smoky, the salmon sushi is fresh and delicate, and the chicken karaage is crispy and full of flavour. Vegetarians will love the spicy tofu, BBQ cabbage, miso soup, and broccolini—all thoughtfully prepared and bursting with taste. Combined with excellent cocktails and warm service, it’s a must-visit for lovers of modern Japanese cuisine.

Went to celebrate son’s 21st upon recommendation by a friend. Top notch from the lovely staff, the yummy food and the ambience of the restaurant. We had the nori-dasu tasting with a couple of side orders. Couldn’t fault the taste, each dish was nice to look at and just so good to savour. The staff are lovely, attentive and know what they’re doing smoothly. The restaurant itself is nice to look at, but gets a bit too loud when it’s nearly full. Overall, great experience and the birthday boy left happy. Will return definitely!

We stopped in for a drink during happy hour and managed to snag the window table. The gentleman serving us was really friendly and helpful. We tried a grapefruit margarita and a lychee martini. Both drinks were well made, sweet without being overly so. A lovely place to stop for a drink. They have an outdoor patio too!

Cosy bar, great cocktails, friendly staff.
Came for the happy hour drinks and tried every one, all of them good size and delicious. Bartender was very welcoming and personable.
Could do with a better outdoor seating area like next door as standing around barrels isn’t ideal.
Would happily come again and relax on the balcony with a cocktail.

If you are a fan of whisky, stay clear of this place. While the selection may look great on the photos, reality is much worse… You will be paying very premium price for whiskies that already aired out so much in the bottles that they barely have the taste they should…
The atmosphere is great, but that’s about it. Also the servers were extremely slow even though the place was half empty.
Would not recommend

Reasonably priced, tasty cocktails. Great layout with multiple bars over the 3 levels. Decor looks great but there’s little to no ambience or character. It was an uncomfortable experience, especially as someone with familiarity in the industry, seeing the manager micromanage and reprimand bar staff who were doing a perfectly good job in front of the customers. For an intimate venue, it misses the mark which is a shame given the potential.

Friendly barman, who knows how to make amazing cocktails and entertain the guest. The burgers are good. I just wish I had found this place a week before moving out of Sydney.

I recently experienced the “Full Circle Experience” at O Bar & Dining, and it was absolutely unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was just stunning. The revolving lounge gave us a complete 360-degree view of Sydney in 105 minutes, and with the guaranteed window seating, every moment felt special as the city slowly unfolded around us.
The package itself was perfect. Starting with a refreshing seasonal cocktail on arrival and some delicious chef’s selection of snacks. The main course and dessert options were spot on, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, while the shared sides rounded everything out perfectly.
It’s such a unique way to enjoy Sydney, fine dining paired with breathtaking views. Highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting something truly memorable! 👏🏻👏🏻

Such a lovely spot for a date night. We went for the set menu and honestly, every bite was a little surprise — heaven for someone like me who loves variety 😄. The rotating Sydney night view with a glass of wine just hits different. Even if you’re dining solo, you can totally get lost in the romance here.

We came for dinner for our twentieth wedding anniversary having got engaged here twenty three years ago. We were seated at a window table just before sunset. Beautiful view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as the sun was setting. Our servers (Matisse and Jannes(?)) were fantastic, incredibly helpful and friendly but weren’t overbearing, clearly very well trained waiters. I believe it was a trial shift for Jannes but we would never had known if we were not informed as we were leaving (hire this man, he was great!)
Had delicious cocktails then ordered the signature tasting menu. Everything was delicious, but the scallops were next level delicious.
All in all a fabulous night, we couldn’t have asked for better to celebrate our milestone and look forward to returning.

Absolutely loved our experience at O Bar and Dining! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—they really made the night feel special.
We went for the package and spent around $150 per person, and it was completely worth it. The food was crazy good—every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You can really taste the quality and creativity in every bite.
What made it even more unforgettable was the 360-degree rotating view. Watching the Vivid Sydney lights from the moving bar while dining was just magical. It gave us a stunning, ever-changing backdrop that took the whole experience to another level.
Highly recommend for a special night out—can’t wait to come back!

O bar is moody, luxurious, and intimate. Every course from the set menu was incredible in taste and presentation. Every waiter was clearly proud and passionate about what they were serving, as I would be. They were perfectly friendly, professional, and accomodating. A fantastic restaurant for a special occasion! I look forward to returning!

We visited this place on Friday night and loved the outdoor seating area's atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. The mains were enjoyable, but the pannacotta didn't quite hit the mark – it was overly liquid. Overall, a pleasant experience with some room for improvement in the desserts.

MOST HONEST REVIEW OF ASH ST CELLAR 2024
It is snack sized. Don’t bring a large group unless you’re spending a lot.
Scallops: 7/10 great flavour
Bread: 5/10
Beetroot: 7.5/10 very good
Wild Boar Ragu: 6.5/10 It was cooked well but the seasoning wasn’t what it could be. The Wild Boar flavour was over powered by aged Parmesan.
Pork Cutlet (Milanese) - 8/10 Very good, although a lot of bone.
Market fish 6/10 - it was something like $36 and it’s just one fillet of John Dory overcooked, for that price there shouldn’t be any faults and it should be clever and creative.
The Chicken with eggplant and Raisin: 5/10 this dish wasn’t thought through and get rushed to get on the plate. Would none order
Mb9+ Wagyu rump cap: It was cooked medium rare, Any chef that knows his steak knows that this cut is tough as nails at medium rare and needs to be cooked to medium. Lack of cooking knowledge and amateur mistake, we couldn’t eat this dish, it wasn’t edible which is a problem cause it is expensive. The waiters saw us complain and turned the blind eye… that borderline ruined the experience.
Desserts were good but not great, first one was a panacotta with just some pistachio and literal honey over the top which anyone could do at home.
Meringue Eton mess: Was nice and refreshing, Would recommend order.
Lowdown: it’s good for buisness people who don’t know about food.
Not good for large groups or people who like dislike small portions.

Had a beautiful meal here on a Friday evening with a friend when the queue for Bar Totti's was too long. We were able to get a table without a booking and were served by the wonderful Bianca/Blanca (?) from Rome who was exceptional. Food, wine and atmosphere were all excellent too.

Dining at Ash Street Cellar was a real pleasure. The menu offered dishes that were fresh and beautifully balanced. The steamed pipis were delicate and full of flavour, the potato scallop had just the right amount of crispness without feeling heavy, and the sticky date pudding was a standout – warm, comforting, and delicious.
The service was excellent, with staff who were not only attentive but also genuinely warm, making the experience feel effortless.
The atmosphere added to the charm – soft candlelight and well-considered seating created a cosy yet stylish setting, perfect for an evening out.
A lovely spot that combines quality food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambience.

Down an alleyway, opposite Felix, is this little gem. It's all about shared plates. The hummus was delicious & the octopus was nice & spicy. There could have been a larger serve of the focaccia. The ladies serving were a well trained team. You can sit out eating under the stars or the awning comes out for inclement weather. Unlike Felix, the bill was very reasonable.

I attended lunch on two separate days, and had two polarised experiences. The first was pleasant, with excellent customer service from all the waiting staff who served me. The Peking Duck was excellent though not as crispy as I've had at other places.
The second visit was less than ideal. The waiter had said to try the steamed dim sum platter on my next visit, so that is what I ordered. However the waitress suggested that I get half steamed and half fried, so I agreed. The two plates were delivered and were delicious (the fried ones were a tad too salty for my taste). When I got the bill, it showed that I was charged for two separate plates at $36 each, which is $14 more than the steamed dim sum platter I had asked for. When I pointed out this discrepancy to the hostess, she was very dismissive and said, "You got three more dim sum than the steamed dim sum platter." As per the menu I was shown and the one online, it's 8 pieces and I received 8 pieces of dim sum without being told that it would be a more expensive meal. The hostess advised that feedback would be given to the waitress, but that was the end of the conversation.
So beware of any suggestions to your order because you won't be advised of the additional charges as they are not transparent with their upselling.

Shoutout to our waiter Adam who was so lovely! He gave us a recommendation for our trip to NZ (if you're reading this, we went to Botswana Butchery and it was 5🌟 - thanks you)

I got blown away by the immense reviews on Google. I picked this restaurant for carb loading before the Sydney marathon. When we arrived at 17:30, there’s already a long queue outside the restaurant and majority of them were dressed up as well. Mr Wong is a super hip place, truly east meets west cuisine. The food is delectable but quite salty and greasy indeed. I guess I will enjoy the food better if I don’t need to race the next day.

Great food and ambience.
Only thing not to my liking was the sichuan pepper in almost all chicken dish. 😞
Amazing starters and amazing desserts.
For how busy this place is, the service was amazing. Thank you Adam.

What a consistent Asian restaurant with fantastic food and a great vibe. We went for dinner and had such excellent service. Great cocktails and they didn’t take long. The dumplings were excellent, as was the roast duck-amazing, and duck spring rolls. Toothbrushes as a highlight and even the mushrooms were excellent.
The whole restaurant feels like a club, with an open plan design and asian artworks. Just a fabulous experience and great night out.

A little hidden gem on one of the busiest streets in city. The atmosphere was so cool down stairs with some hidden nooks and cage areas for seating. Food was so good and the waiters were so friendly and attentive. Would 100% recommend trying this place if you are at a loose end.

Had a girls cocktail night on Saturday and it was lovely. The cocktails were amazing and our waiter was great and gave great recommendations. He also was a great help with organising the cake we had brought for my friend. The atmosphere was top tier and music set a good vibe. Very trendy place!! Food wasn’t anything special but I guess it’s normal for bar bites type of food. Overall great night.

I was really looking forward to visiting this bar and loved the atmosphere, design, and decor. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, but they were extremely busy. I waited for over an hour for a non-alcoholic drink, which I had to follow up on three times. Meanwhile, everyone at my table received their drinks before me, even though they ordered cocktails, which I assumed would take longer to prepare. We also ordered nachos, and unfortunately, the guacamole lacked flavor. When my drink finally arrived, it was disappointing—if you don’t drink alcohol, I’d strongly recommend avoiding the Lyres Paloma. The management should reassess their weekend operations and consider adding more bartenders to handle the volume of customers.

Stitch Bar absolutely delivered!
Tucked away with a cool, laid-back vibe, it was the perfect spot for a night out. Huge shoutout to Subha for the stellar food recommendations—the smash burger was juicy, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best I’ve had in Sydney. And those halloumi fries? Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside—an instant favourite.
The drinks were just as impressive—refreshing, well-balanced, and served with a smile. The team really knows how to craft a great cocktail without overcomplicating it.

The setting is beautiful and perfect if the weather is permitting. The pool, lighting, city lights..it feels great.
We had very large group booked dinner and pretty much tasted everything that was good on the menu, so it's hard to fault such an evening.
The drinks were quickly ordered and served, food was excellent, attention to details was just perfect.
Definitely an evening to remember.

We came to Uccello as a big group for a work gathering and had such a fantastic time. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. They really made us feel welcome and looked after.
The restaurant overlooks the Ivy swimming pool, which adds a really nice, relaxed resort-like vibe. It felt special without being too formal.
The food was absolutely delicious across the board. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavour, and beautifully presented.
It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for both special occasions and relaxed get-togethers. Highly recommend if you’re after great Italian food in a stunning setting with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best Italian (if not the best) I have tried in Sydney.
We went on a Wednesday evening. Less crowded, excellent service and ambience.
We had:
Jerusalem artichoke and pear salad.
Crisp new potatoes with rosemary and aioli.
Tortellini pumpkin and parmigiano in sage butter.
Pork chop Milanese.
White wines to go with the meal, and sweet wines to end.
Everything from an excellent salad down to such amazing potatoes, and friendly /attentive service.
Will certainly be back!

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and ordered a variety of dishes to share. Everything was quite solid. The standout was the spanner crab pasta - it was delicious. The oysters were fresh and juicy, and the pork chop was also well-cooked and flavorful. All the other shared plates were enjoyable too.
Service was decent, and we were seated at an outdoor table overlooking the pool, which elevated the experience. Overall, a solid Italian meal in a lovely setting.

We went here for the Two Park Christmas party and the service was exemplary!
Food was amazing.
Caviar stood out and I'm happy I didn't have to pay for that! 🤣🤣
My next favourite is the shrimp! Great umami!
Least favourite dishes were the pastas. I was expecting more from the crab pasta but it just didn't hit as well as I wanted it to! Too sour and the crab was overpowered by the sauce.
I would recommend this restaurant 100%!
