We went to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday & celebrated with some old hometown friends to commerate the occasion. Many dishes of food (like going to a wedding) were ordered. Delicious & very fresh. Parking available at the mall parkade, depending on the time we found lots of spaces to park. Service was excellent with top notch delivery (personable small plates were changed sev eral times when soiled with shells from the lobster dish for example). Definitely we will here again to try the dim sum service.

Great dim sum spot! We made a reservation, which I highly recommend because the place is popular—there were about 20 people in the reservation line alone, plus a separate line for walk-ins.
The food quality was excellent and the pricing felt very fair. The environment is nice, though be aware there is a standard per-person tea charge. It’s a very busy, high-energy atmosphere. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it lacks a bit of a "personal touch." Service is efficient but there isn't much interaction with the staff.
Overall, I’d definitely come back for the food!

I love this dim sum restaurant. I've enjoyed it twice, on two different occasions, while overnighting in Richmond on flight stopovers. Both times I went early in the day - just after they open at 10am. This time I thoroughly enjoyed the chrysanthemum tea with my meal. Staff is attentive and food is served hot and quickly. The food is excellent. The restaurant space is huge (lots of professional staff) and tables set with pristine white table cloths. On my stopovers I order enough food to try at the table and then I take the rest with me to enjoy on my flight. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Honestly don’t know why this place is called Wu Fung Dessert when they don’t sell any desserts at all. I was doing a Richmond food court crawl and visited Aberdeen Centre to try out the chicken wings here. This seems to be one of the most popular, if not the most popular, place to go in this food court according to online food bloggers. Other notable places include Champion Potato Noodles, John 3:16, etc., but this one stood out the most to me.
Prices seem a bit expensive, at $8 for 3 wings (very minor discount if you buy more, with $15.50 for 6 ($0.50 discount) or $30 for 12 ($2 discount). However, the wings were full on wings with drum, flat, and tip, so it’s not that bad, but still not cheap.
I got a few wings to try out myself first and I have to say that they’re one of the best (Chinese fried) wings I’ve ever had. It’s hot, juicy, crispy and has a simple, yet addicting seasoning. It’s slightly different from the Chinese American fried wings as it has less of a batter and less garlic, and more peppery. It was so good I opted to buy the 12 wing option after, but the taste after bringing them home was incomparable with eating them on the spot.
I also got HK style milk tea for $3.50. I don’t know why being cold warrants it being $0.50 more than hot, but whatever.
Despite me praising the food here, I think the service wasn’t good. They gave me one box that didn’t fit 12 wings at all, completely unacceptable. I asked for another box, but no, boxes and bags cost extra. Makes no sense to me to serve someone like this. Lady at counter was also not so friendly, but whatever. I was mainly annoyed at how they packed the wings.

Hands down the closest you could get to Hong Kong Fried chicken. Portion size for the price must be appreciated. You get 3 full wings for just $8! And tastes soooo gooood. It’s a must try!!

Amazing wings, best wings in Canada.
Strange place for it to be the best. Inside the shopping mall Aberdeen Mall food court. But it’s the truth, you won’t find better chicken wings anywhere.
I’ve never tried anything else on their menu and don’t intend to. I believe the majority of bad reviews are based on its name “dessert house” and the other offerings.
It’s a bit of a wait because it’s cooked fresh but well worth it.

Came here for dinner in Aberdeen Mall to try out their famous chicken wings but decided to do their chicken middle wings instead. Also ordered the Chicken Fillet and Fish Tofu with Rice Vermicelli + Beef Brisket and Tendon on Rice. These items come with a hot/cold drink.
Overall the food was pretty good. My wife thought the service was pretty good ... maybe because we tipped them (lol). Will come back here again to try something else but always wonder why call it "dessert" in the name when drinks is the closest thing to dessert.
actionj007 - 10 months ago
If you find yourself in the Aberdeen food court, you'll probably see a bunch of people ordering chicken wings from this place.
The 6 pc chicken wings is $15.5 (cash only) and comes with perfectly crispy (albeit oily) whole chicken wings. Definitely a must order.
UPDATE - Apr 2026: Revisit for their famous chicken wings and a cold lemon tea.

Excellent tasting and the best well-made pizza! Loaded with toppings on a perfect thin crust base. Super happy to have this shop in the city! Will definitely be my regular pizza place! Service was friendly as well😁 Thank you!🍕
Vina - 2 months ago
****EDIT: I had leftover slices and it gets better each day. The crust is so fantastic…very chewy and flavourful compared to some pizza places where the crust is bland. It’s like comparing artisan fresh bread to basic supermarket bread. I’ll definitely become a regular now.
Had a stressful day at work and decided to order a pizza. My friend recommended this place and other reviewers recommended the spicy beef. It’s not my fave pizza of all time but it really hit the spot with the first bite with a pack of flavours bursting in my mouth. The garlic sauce came with the pizza and it complemented nicely. Exactly what I needed.

I had pizzas at Romilano the other day and really enjoyed the quality of the food. The crust was so thin and crispy. The toppings are enough and the whole combination was yummy. Really recommend Spicy beef and Spicy chicken as well as the Cheese Steak ones. There are also some veggies choices and the price is reasonable.

This is my 2nd visit to Yuan’s Hot Pot — I came back specifically because I had a coupon for 6 free skewers 😆 from my last visit. Honestly, that coupon alone had more influence over my decisions than my own willpower.
Felt like: “I will return… because destiny (and free skewers) said so.”
Before the food arrived, they gave me a bowl of fresh orange slices 😃 — very thoughtful. I told myself I’d save them for dessert, and for once in my life, I actually did.
I ordered a soup base with cucumbers, mushrooms, red dates, scallions, tomatoes, and a mysterious root that looked like ginseng but had zero bitterness and full main-character energy.
They asked if I wanted the sauce counter (extra charge). I said no — partly out of budget discipline, partly out of confidence that I didn’t need it.
Added some side dishes like special cucumber and rice, so the meal slowly turned into a full production.
At the end of everything, I realized something important:
I may have eaten hot pot… but I don’t fully remember tasting the broth. 😅
Left happy though — mostly because of the 6 free skewers, slightly because of the food, and fully because I successfully turned a coupon into a reason for a whole second meal.

We had not been to Yuan's before. The staff were friendly, explained our options and made it easy to order. There was a good variety of meats and veggies. The dinner for 4 was too much for us, it almost could have fed 5 people. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Jana Wasylyshyn - 7 months ago
This place serves truly authentic Sichuan-style skewers — the flavors are rich, spicy, and exactly how they should be. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and well-prepared. My personal favorites are the beef tongue, pork brain, chicken heart, beef tripe, and the tender beef slices — each one cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service is exceptionally warm and attentive, making the whole dining experience very enjoyable and memorable.

We tried this restaurant for dinner.
We loved our dining experience at Yuan’s Hot Pot. It’s conveniently located inside Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, so parking was relatively easy.
We went with the package for two, which I found to be both affordable and generous. It included a variety of skewers that you can choose from the menu. They also provided a nice bib.
Service was pleasant and prompt. The restaurant was spacious and clean.
We paid $77 for two, including tip.
We will definitely be back.

Excellent dining spot! It's our must visit every time we come to Vancouver area. The taste is consistent, portion is generous and the store is bright and clean, unlike many other hot pot restaurants. Their lunch combo for 2 is of great value. Highly recommended if you haven't tried before!

The lunch special at SURA Korean BBQ is an amazing value. The portions are generous, everything was fresh and flavorful, and the side dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. Definitely one of the best Korean lunch specials. I’ll be back!

My friend wanted to go Korean BBQ and chose this place to try again from previous experience.
We ordered an assortment of foods and honestly while the food was good, I personally can't justify it's higher price point. Had it been more reasonably priced or super outstanding taste, I would give it a 5.
Service was pretty standard and could be better if they checked to see if we need to replace the grill as it was getting very black. It would have been nice if they mentioned that there were other small appetizers that came along with our dishes as we suddenly felt like we ordered too much.
The atmosphere was pretty decent with moderate noise for acceptable conversation levels.
All in all, I would place it a 4 and would consider this place only for special occasions.
Charlie Chu - 10 months ago
We went to try the $25 per person lunch special at Sura in Richmond. The special requires a minimum of 2 people, and any additional order also requires another set of two people.
The food was delicious and there was a lot of variety. We were completely full by the end of the meal. The soup was flavorful, although I found the portion of the soup a bit small even though the server did mention it was a serving for two people.
The only dish that wasn't my favorite was the sweet and sour pork. I found the pork itself a bit bland, and the sauce didn't really complement it well. Other than that, everything else was excellent. The flavors were great, the dishes were well prepared, and the overall meal felt very satisfying.
I would definitely recommend trying the lunch special, especially if you're hungry and want to sample a variety of dishes. Just come with an appetite because it's a lot of food!

SURA Korean BBQ, Aberdeen Centre Mall
Last visit Jan 2026 dine in (their takeout is also really good)
Royal Pork Galbi - 10/10, 5 stars. Absolutely the juiciest, most succulent sweet BBQ pork. I can't recommend it enough. The lunch special portions are smaller, but the dinner sized one, we have leftovers.
Seafood Pancake: 9/10, 4.5 stars. Our favourite one overall; some Korean seafood pancakes have crispier batter, some others have more seafood at the cost of batter cohesion. This strikes a nearly perfect balance, and the seafood is perfectly cookedl.
Kimchi Fried Rice: my favourite fried rice. Slightly spicy from the kimchi (gochujang) but with beef and a runny fried egg on top. 10/10 5 stars.
Sides: in particular, I really like the Sweet & Spicy Gochujang salad, the soy bean curd slices, the sweet soy potatoes (when they have them).
When we went, they were running a CNY promotion: 20% off except on the set lunches, 27% off takeout, started Jan 26th.
We've eaten here many times, they haven't disappointed yet. With refillable small dishes (anything in the smallest metal bowls + salads)
Overall 9.8/10, 5 stars
Recommend: everything

We went there for a drink tonight and also ordered a pizza. Food was good. The pizza was tasty. The soju was ok too. Price a bit higher. Just before we were about to pay the bill, we unfortunately saw a mouse running around the table. It was a small mouse, but it ran from one table to another. My friend was scared and jumped up. We quickly left! On our way out, we told the waiter and he didn’t seem to be surprised! I believe it’s not unusual. Unfortunately, we will never go back given the place has a mouse. I would expect the owner would apologize and give us a discount. But nothing. So I will not go back.

Arguably the best ice lemon tea in Richmond. Lemon is hand muddle and tea is steeped in silk tea bag. Very delicious, not too bitter and not too sweet with the perfect tartness from the lemon. Got large for $3.75 each.

I believe Vivien Ave confusing two different places. Tin Tin Kitchen is a fast food counter in Parker Place food court. I think she probably want to say Tin Tin Seafood Restaurant (3711 No. 3 Road, opposite of Yohan Centre).
Tin Tin Kitchen provides order to make Hong Kong style delicious dishes and drinks with good deal. Very nice partners in the front desk and kitchen. 👍👍👍

I always get baked seafood rice at every hk style cafe and tin tin’s fried rice base has the most wok hay out of every place I’ve been to… I finish every grain of fried rice every time even when I’m full… I’ve tried other things here and they’ve been all delicious
Just my opinion but I think the chef here is seriously something else… please give them a try!

My first dim sum brunch in Richmond after over ten years. I hear good things about Tin Tin Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. So I decided to give it a try. We were very lucky to get a table without waiting on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. The dim sum is excellent. Very delicious! The service is fast and attentive. The dining room is not very big but pretty comfortable. I’m sure I will be back.

I had the best king crab here. The salt-and-pepper fried version was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The steamed king crab was incredibly fresh as well. The Portuguese baked rice was wonderfully fragrant. Even the appetizers were impressive—the beef shank was surprisingly flavorful, and the chicken had a unique taste you won’t find anywhere else. The service was excellent as well.

Once a year, I took advantage for the King special, I picked this place so I don’t need to go with a set dinner discount for the King crab like others. Their crabs sale by the pound my crab is 9lb this is the perfect size for dinner of 5 . We added th soup, soy sauce chicken and couple appetizer. This is one of the best in Vancouver. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was delicious. A solid Chinese restaurant. The dishes were plated beautifully. Highlights were the bitter melon with scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs were creamy and the bitter melon was not bitter at all and the combo paired very well together. The sweet and sour pork had tasty vinegary flavour. The honey garlic spareribs were just the right amount of sticky with nice garlic flavour and the meat was both crisp and juicy. The almond and sesame cookies at the end were superb in flakiness and freshness. The mung bean soup was a sweet finish to the meal.
The Peking duck was also great. Just wish they gave a bit more cucumber slices and green onion to top your pancake with.
The shrimp and squid with snow peas, sweet and sour pineapple duck, and the fried fish were decent as well but more average in taste. A great place for a family dinner.

Dim sum in bamboo trays on the average-to-low end. In contrast, high quality made to the order lunch dishes.
Ginger chicken steamed bun: 3 pc, small size, dough a little soggy, guessing they steam up factory made frozen buns.
Cod fish maw & vegetable in oyster sauce : Very tasty and good portion for the 3 of us!
Rolled rice sheet with fish filling : great! Unlike the more common choice of rolled rice sheet with fish paste, this dish has fish pieces and no deep frying involved.
Fried rice with diced chicken and salted fish: Great! Good portion.
Overall, I have reservation on the quality of their bamboo tray steamed dim sum. I appreciate the flavour in their made-to-the-order items. I had dinner here on the past and I remember it was very flavourful, and they have very attentive servers.

Love this HK cafe!!! No line up and the food is excellent! It's like the one I had in HK. The scrambled egg🥚is outstanding. Also, I really like the 5 spices beef rice noodle. The milk tea is good too, and you can ask for extra milk if needed. The price is very reasonable! We will definitely go again! The mall is super quiet.

For $13 it’s quite a good value in this economy. I recommend the Satay beef, the beef was fragrant and tenderized. The Spice Pork Cubes on the hand was quite tough and lacked any flavours other than straight spice. The signature HK Style scrambled egg was a large portion and still runny.
Overall, a decent breakfast for its value.

Breakfast is good. There were a long line up but they clear the line quite fast. Was told need to wait 20 mins, but got the food in less than 10mins.
The noodle has source all the way but no extra. Egg is creamy, toast is good. The chicken is crunchy. No wonder all the line up goes to them.

Kunming-style copper pot rice noodle—maybe not their specialty. I didn’t find it good. The portion was small; even someone with a light appetite could finish a bowl easily. Besides the rice noodles, it only had minced meat, tomato, pickled cabbage, and chives. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be trying it again.
As a paying customer, I have the right to share my honest experience. Just because I didn’t enjoy your dish doesn’t mean I don’t know how to eat it. Instead of attacking customers, perhaps you should focus on improving your food and service. A professional response would have left a much better impression than this attitude.
