We took a 20-minute scenic flight over Vancouver in a light aircraft — and it was an incredible experience. The weather that day was perfect, with clear skies and crisp air, giving us wide, unobstructed views of the city and surrounding areas. From above, we had a stunning aerial view of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, and the diverse landscapes stretching out into the suburbs. Takeoff and landing were much smoother than I expected; I was a bit nervous about turbulence on a small plane, but the entire ride was surprisingly stable and comfortable. Although the flight was short, it offered a unique and memorable perspective of the city. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vancouver — just be sure to book online in advance to secure a spot!

I flew Harbour Air from Nanaimo to Vancouver and back, and the price was absolutely worth it for the time it saved compared to taking the ferry. On the return trip, I had the incredible opportunity to sit in the co-pilot seat, an option open to passengers, and I highly recommend it. Wearing the headphones and listening to air traffic control added to the experience, and the views were some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen from a plane. A fantastic way to travel!
