FlyOver
FlyOver (Formerly FlyOver Canada) is an exiting Vancouver attraction that offers a breathtakingly realistic flight experience
Have you ever dreamed of soaring like a bird over some of the most spectacular scenery on earth? FlyOver, conveniently located at the Cruise Ship Terminal, offers an experience so real that it will almost leave you breathless!
Opening on June 29th, 2013 this exciting attraction, which took years to create, has become one of the top experiences in the city. If you have ever experienced the extremely popular Soaring Over California attraction at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you will have had a taste of what this attraction will be like.
Strapped into your seat in front of a 20 metre domed screen, you will enjoy a virtual flying experience that explores incredible scenery from Canada and/or from other spectacular destinations around the world. All of your senses will be stimulated with the amazing 4D effects which include motion, surround sound, wind, mist and even scents that will have you totally mesmerized for the duration of the ride. The sense of actually being there is incredible and it really does feel like you are flying.
There are two experiences to choose from at any given time and new experiences are being developed. On your next visit you may be able to enjoy an entirely new show.
You can save money by pre-booking your ticket(s) online, even on the day of your visit. You can save even more per show by booking a double feature ticket for both of the shows that are currently playing.
When you consider the cost of a quick sightseeing flight over a small area in an actual aircraft, this experience is truly a bargain. On top of that, no sightseeing flight can offer you some of the experiences that are provided during this ride as special permits for low flight had to be obtained in order to film many of the scenes.
With its convenient location inside Canada Place, right next to Waterfront Station on Vancouver's spectacular harbourfront, it will be easy to fit this great attraction into your travel plans; even during a short stay in the city.
Other things you should know:
A discount is available if you prepurchase your ticket online. Fasttrack tickets are also available for a small premium.
There is a height restriction for this attraction. Riders must be a minimum of 40 inches | 102 cm tall. Children 12 and under must be accommpanied by and adult. There is an elevator for wheelchair accessibility.
The entire experience is about 25 minutes in length. The queue is outside, so be dressed for the weather of the day.

out of 5 What an incredible journey across the rugged highlands. I've never had an encounter like this before. Next time, I'll take a ride in Canada. The ambiance is extremely cold, and the splash of water while riding makes everything seem so genuine.

We visited on weekend so yeah busy as heck. We waited 3 hours for flyover but let me tell you it’s worth 10 hours. Loved the experience and would visit again this time on weekdays 😁

Really beautiful experience as a local or as a visitor to Vancouver.
The experience is broken into two parts. The first of which you enter a room (standing, though there are some benches for those needing them) where you will watch a video presentation representing the diversity across Canada. The animation was cool, but the content of the story-telling in the video itself is a little try-hard. Then you move to another room where the main attraction is. You are strapped in with safety seat belts and “fly”. The presentation is immersive and really spectacular. The only downside (and the reason I only gave 4 stars) is that it feels too short (especially given the price). I would prefer to have a shorter first video, and a longer ride.
As a final note, make sure to book at least a day or two in advance so you can safe $5-10 of the ticket price.

Our family enjoyed Flyover very much. We had a rare whole day together and this was one of the activities we chose. What a great ride! Super fun and it felt like we were really flying across Canada. The sensory enhancements truly made it feel so real. The staff were fantastic. The venue was clean and well maintained. My family were talking about it all day. Can’t wait to try different “flights”. Highly recommend. Ten out of ten.

Attended early today without a ticket & no issues managing to get on the next flight to see the Canada version (tgere is also an Iceland version).
Did it some years ago & it is a different movie which was good. Amazing scenery & effects.
Pretty good value.
