I think the same sandwich I had before has gotten smaller. Sasauge and egg sandwich. I think the ingredients are not as good ether. They gave us our order without sausage for our take out order, so we had to come back and the put the sausage in. Attached images

Their Chicken strips were recommended by someone they really slap. They are not typical strips you can find at any other restaurant, these are different. These are more crunchy and fried better. I wish they had a spicy version of it. Can't say anything yet about any other thing as I just tried chicken strips. Service was just okay.

This is my first time being here. We got a few things but as you can see we only got one picture of my food the others items i ordered I ate and forgot to take a photo. My friend and I got the nacho fries, California burger, a poutine and the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Everything was good no complaints from either of us. Can't wait to go back!

Been having craving for burgers lately and wanted something different. Always drove by for years! Finally gave it a try. Service is excellent. Food was so good! Went back a 2nd time in the same week- I can see the care when they're making the burgers. Got fries the 1st time and curly fries the 2nd time. Both times were golden! I seen someone take the patties off the griddle with great care. I saw another person take out fries from the fryer and gave it a good shake and drain for a solid 10 seconds or more. Way better care and attention to detail than other joints I've seen, doest have to be burgers- but twice I this week. Customer service and food was top notch. Will be back.

We often choose Joey for our date nights, and each visit leaves us thoroughly satisfied. From the warm welcome upon entering the restaurant to the attentive service provided by the servers and the consistently delicious food, everything always falls into place perfectly.
While I've explored various items on the menu, my favorites are the blackened chicken and truffle fries.

Wow, visiting the Burnaby location for the first time was a blast! The view of the SkyTrain passing by and all the skyscrapers around was such a cool experience. Plus, they've got free underground parking, which is a huge plus.
Let me tell you about Nat, the lady who took care of our table. She totally rocked it! It didn't feel like she was just finishing up her shift; she was all about making our experience top-notch. So kind and professional, it was like she was doing her passion. And there was another lady making sure everything was running smoothly at our table too, she was also super impressive. These servers really know how to make a restaurant shine.
Now, onto the food – it was out of this world! The blackened chicken was seriously divine, like it came straight from heaven. Definitely a must-try dish!
If it's your birthday, just bring in the cake you've got. Trust me, they'll make it extra special. Their cake designs are seriously beautiful – like, OMG level!

JOEY Burnaby boasts a distinctive and refreshing ambiance compared to its counterparts. Its lively setting appeals to a diverse crowd, making it ideal for casual gatherings and family meals.
During our visit with my partner, we kicked off our dining experience with the refreshing Matcha Mojito and Real Peach Bellini cocktails, paired with the Crispy Chilli Chicken starter. The flavor of the chicken was so exceptional that we ordered it again, while my partner savored the Blackened Chicken with truffle fries.
We wrapped up our meal with the indulgent Molten Chocolate Cake, which was simply delicious. The attentive service added to our enjoyment, with the waitress going above and beyond to cater to our preferences and suggest dishes that perfectly suited our tastes. Overall, the pricing was reasonable.
Our visit to JOEY Burnaby was a delightful experience! The captivating view of the passing SkyTrain and the surrounding skyscrapers added a unique charm to our evening. The availability of complimentary underground parking was a significant convenience.

Great good, portions are good except tuna poke bowl, was obviously pretty small to compare with any other dish but still delicious though. Have good offer of 50 % off on bottle wine on Tuesday , but not a good wine list 🙃 add something from old word, really lack on French wines.
Service was great, Bianca is a top server ) thank you)
Atmosphere and cleanliness are good and the washroom looks so beautiful 😍

Gluten free pizza was undercooked, dough was still raw.
But worse was the attitude of the white girl working here. Learning basic customer service would get u a lot further in life my dear.

The Blue Cheez Pizza at Uncle Fatih's is a culinary masterpiece that will delight the taste buds of any pizza enthusiast. It's a flavor adventure that I can't wait to embark on again. If you're looking for a pizza that breaks the mold and offers a one-of-a-kind taste experience, this is the one. Uncle Fatih's has truly outdone themselves with this remarkable creation. Don't miss the chance to savor this remarkable and mouthwatering pizza!

I order a pizza from here almost weekly, sometimes twice a week. The plus side is that they are great with delivery and are very fast, and open late. The down side now is they just increased their rates and now skimp on the toppings. Not willing to pay $27 for a small pizza with barely anything on it. Also, I order thin crust and it is never crispy. To me it's way better than Pizza Pizza, which is a disaster from top to bottom, and I refuse to order anything from ever again. But I will probably be done with pizza now for a bit. Losing quality and toppungs and increasing prices doesn't work for me.

Grazie Uncle Fatih! We used the awesome "Too Good to Go" app to grab a quick last minute, on-the-go dough fest for a cheap and yummy lunch. At $6 bucks for 4 slices of pizza, you can't argue at the value for money at all and the pizza was pretty good! I'd say it was a good balance of not too much cheese or dough and cooked well throughout, I do love the fact they promote using non-GMO and wholesome ingredients with wholemeal flour which is one of my reasons for heading here as they care about the quality of their ingredients and pizza. As vegetarians, we were worried about the risk of a mystery box, but as there was plenty left under the offer; then the friendly staff were more than accommodating to ensure we had a dedicated veggie box in which their menu caters pretty well with good options. In summary.. two veggie, one olive and one four-cheese slice's... the olive was definetely my favorite. It wasn't life changing pizza and would be better complimented with some fresh oregano, black pepper and other herbs in my opinion, but pretty tasty especially overall and considering the price from a cute home-cooked and grass-roots Italian heritage, sprinkled with a sesamase seed crust. I'd for sure go back without hesitation and do dig this joints hot sauce which is the perfect compliment! It'd be sweet if this place could make vegan/dairy-free options and I'd definitely be more of a frequent visitor.
Ciao! Support local businesses!

Very happy to eat at Ricky's again after the closing of the boundary location. The food is much better at this location and service is top notch. Pretty bad when I eat at a restaurant twice in a week but the food was that good. All your favourite food plus they will be adding a pizza menu soon. Parking is not bad but it is pay parking. I recommend the burgers as I keep coming back to eat more of them.

This place has the best fish & chips I have ever tasted. Definitely worth it for everyone. And the dessert... phenomenal.
Yesterday, I went there again and tried a plate of fettuccine alfredo, and by holy Sweet Christmas, it was the best pasta I have ever tasted. This restaurant deserves a recommendation.

We had such an amazing time at breakfast. The service was above abs beyond most places we have been with plenty of times being asked for extra water and coffee and checking in on us. It’s funny how few places give refills. Our meals tasted great as they always have and definitely large portion sizes too. This is a great place for breakfast and would recommend

Super spot for your basic sushi needs that is really tasty, fresh, and good quality! Prices are very fair for what you get and they are fast. Easy to get to too with street parking. Love their Alaska and dynamite rolls and salmon sashimi of course! Definitely give it a try

The food I ordered I did not enjoy much. Ika karage looks good but it was really hard to chew. I brought it home and it was better after grilling. Parking not so great but not too bad. It's a short walk but you may enjoy the stretch of cherry blossoms during that time of year. Metered parking 30mins max.

This restaurant gets a solid satisfactory rating - which you could really take or leave at this point. I know this joint gets frequented for nearby businesses for lunch. However, this wouldn’t necessarily be my go to spot. The staff are nice which is always a plus in my books but I’ll find a sushi quality to be a little different to my liking. Their agedashi tofu is one of my fav appy’s and their dragon/caterpillar (I forgot lol) roll was good too. I find their sushi to be on the smaller size for the price so that’s mostly the reasoning for my rating. Their sashimi is soso and quite small as well. I haven’t had too many of their other bento/entree dishes so take my review with a grain of salt. I know there are definitely coworkers that enjoy this place - it just isn’t a home run for me.

I booked for a family of 4 on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was not too busy at night time which was a good sign. The food came earlier than i expected and I really enjoyed the sushi bento box which was superb. Would come again next time! The managers were nice, and they had good appreciation for us.

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Brown's Social House in Brentwood. The ambiance was pleasant, with just the right level of noise and activity. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For starters, we had crispy chicken and pickles, which were incredibly flavorful. Our main dishes included blackened chicken with Alfredo pasta and a crispy chicken sandwich. The Alfredo pasta was my personal favorite. Our server was friendly and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert for the occasion, which was a lovely touch.

Definitely not the franchise restaurant and location i would choose. It was fairly appalling to see the amount of guac they put for the quacamole and chips. Food was below par. There are tons of other places around here that would be a better visit.

Yes, it’s just a subway - and no there food ain’t any better than any other subway… but the staff here, on separate occasions, returned my wallet an hour after loosing it outside their entrance and also allowed my gf’s daughter to use the toilet without asking if we were going to order first.
The staff here are nice people. So the staff are getting 5-stars - the food, not so much because it’s just a subway 🤷♂️

I went with family for lunch here during the long weekend. Got seated immediately. David helped us with drink and food choices. Mango margarita was not on their menu, they still made it for me. Kids had the 3-taco order. Enchiladas rojas was suggested by David; I really liked it. Overall I enjoyed the experience. A bit on the pricier side; however which similar restaurant is not, these days.

I had one of the best experiences in this establishment. Came for just dinner with some friends the manager and the whole staff make sure that we never forget this night. The attention and the service was amazing, and the food… out of this world, had some of the best tacos I’ve had in Vancouver… same flavour as in Mexico. My girlfriend order a cocktail called “bad hombre” and let me tell that the quality and flavour was a 10/10. I definitely recommend this place and the manager David showed us how to drink mezcal, a lovely experience.

Went there for "Dine Out Vancouver" for lunch on Sunday. The beautiful and friendly waitress said not available for lunch today - only for certain weekdays for lunch I said you didn't specify on the "Dine Out Vancouver" website. Feeling disappointed and left. Went to Japanese restaurant instead :(
Update:
Thanks to the Owner who invited us to the complimentary "Dine Out" tonight!
Appetizers: we loved the Tuna Tartare (refreshing & mouth-watering) and Tacos De chicharron (pork belly - favourable). My husband said he must order Tuna Tartare next time. He wanted more and more!
Entree: Sauteed garlic prawns and Enchiladas
Dessert: Carlota (lime pie) - before I ate, I smelled very fresh lime and mint. We usually are not crazy about any sweet. Wow, we fell in love with it after the first bite!
Attentive service: the Manager explained every single word on the dine out menu with charming Spanish accent. The beautiful waitress always checked with us about every dish.
Overall, it's one of the best dine out experiences. Thanks to the Owner for your generosity!

tl;dr you must try the chicken sausage roll. Also the pastries > the coffee.
Quite a busy location given all the condos that have gone up. The line moves fairly quickly and the drinks come out without having to wait too long.
The chicken sausage roll is my favorite item on the menu, and generally the food seems to be better than the coffee. The sourdough loaves are quick good.
I ordered a bone dry cappuccino but I ended up getting a milky coffee. The baristas seemed like they were in training.

When I just need coffee, it is always irresistibly attractive for me to grab a pastry. The croissant was divine. I was blown away by its crispiness and softness, even though I went there about their closing time. The cafe is small though the vibe is good to chill out.

They take their coffee pretty seriously! Good pastries but on the pricey end. Creative seating outside of the actual store and generally nice all around but not great for studying all day unless you get this one seat against the wall/corner!

Personally I think this location is too crowded all the time and so chaotic. Even the coffee and brunch food is over priced and not satisfying in my opinion.
I love coffee but I prefer the Bella Gelateria Gelato & Coffee right next building 1 min away. Spacious and espresso ☕️ taste Much better for me.
Didn’t even want to take pic of the coffee .. N avocado toast was really bad, but the tarts was good! Just cannot understand why people go for no space even though there are bigger cafe with good coffee:)

Their coffee is a bit more expensive for their cup size than most other cafe but it does taste fantastic. The pastries are also a luxury. Consider this place for a treat rather than your daily coffee filler unless money is not your concern.

My partner and I visited Tap and Barrel. Every staff member greeted us warmly with bright smiles, making us feel truly welcomed. While the food was good, I've had better experiences with the cuisine at other Tap and Barrel locations. However, I particularly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. For appetizers, the chicken strips were delightfully crispy and tasty. My partner ordered the crispy chicken mac and cheese, while I chose forager chicken with mushroom and mashed potatoes. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance and atmosphere were exceptional.

At last, Tap & Barrel is here! Had dinner with my wife on their opening day and they did not disappoint. Had the classic and famous Fried Pickles for starters, Fried Chicken Mac and Cheese, and then Fish & Chips. Pop and a mixed drink to boot.
As you can tell, we played it safe but that’s just our first visit. More to come. Our selection was pretty much similar in prep and taste to the ones found in downtown Vancouver and Olympic Village locations. Similar, but that’s not a bad thing. The newness, ambiance, freshness of a new location adds to the overall experience.
We did notice some areas were a little tight to walk thru since our table was too close to the wine fridge. When one staff had the door open to select a wine bottle, another staff could not walk between the door and our table. Another table had the same narrow pathway. Other than that, the service was great and people were friendly.
This new place did not disappoint and a great addition to our little community in Brentwood. Come summer when the plaza is packed and the bands are playing on the stage outside, this resto with its outside seating and three levels will rock! Can’t wait to come back.
