Outstanding service top down or whatever you say it. And certainly much better than their New West which as my other review states, are notoriously late in taking your order, food coming out and lack of service —- though they try and apologize. Back to here. Food is good though not as great surprisingly to New West. Wasn’t a fan of their pork chops, too ketchup-y. Peking duck lettuce was crispy and fresh; not enough meat for the skin portion plate. Pot chicken was just ok, New West much more moist. Dessert tapioca nice. Back to service — wow, must have changed at least 3 times without asking. Free parking on P3. Can’t say Amex approved as my sisters son’s bday.

Kirin is super busy during dim sum hours, even we went on a weekday morning, it was packed! We got super lucky filling in the last table walked in. The service was great and the dim sum was super good, very authentic and tastes even better than that back in Hong Kong. You could tell the dim sum are made to order. My favorites would be the shrimp dumpling, siumai and the custard bun!

You better make a reservation in advance before having dim sum in Kirin. As I know they are quite full even in weekdays. Kirin is the only restaurant I am willing to have dim sum in North America. Dim sum is in high quality and with prompt service .

Amazing service for a large group. Very attentive staff, there were never empty dirty dishes left on the table and drinks always topped up. Some of my favourite seafood dishes were very delicious served here, but the service is what stood out.

Overall the service and food were excellent. We’ll definitely come back soon! I love the mango pudding and the Steamed puréed egg yolks in cuttlefish ink dough bun, they were delicious and upon our expectations! Tea was free of charge! Be sure to remember the number of your parking spot, they’ll validate your parking at front.

Went to white spot and ordered the spaghetti bolognese for $22.49, my host was named Danica. She greeted me with a smile, sat me on a table right away and served me drinks. The service was good even tho it was busy

The wait at the front was quite long, even though the restaurant wasn't full at noon on a Friday. The host did not hustle, and it took her a long time to seat me and my work colleague in a section with one other table sat. We waited for 10 minutes when I asked the host who our server was meant to be - she had to fetch her. We waited long enough to order immediately, but our food still took a long time to arrive after that. When it did, it was just warm, and my burger was a bit overcooked. The whole ordeal took so long that we ended up eating in a rush because we had to get back to work. I do not recommend this White Spot location if you are in a hurry, especially if you're on a lunch break.

I have been going to White Spot at least once or twice a year for the past 30 years. Reliable old school food in a very relaxed and family friendly setting. Their happy hour snacks are still the best you can get at this price point. I love their old school zucchini sticks, dry ribs and onion rings, which go extremely well with their 20oz Spot size Nat Bailey Lager.

So we know the three categories are food, service and atmosphere that Google uses to score a restaurant. All 3 are a hard solid 5 stars. I personally never visited Asia / far east, so really don’t know what authentic fruit from this area of the world is like. However I’m a truly adventurous person and have tried food from many parts of the world. I could not believe I ate this evening unfortunately didn’t take any pictures but but it was out of this world. The atmosphere in the restaurant was unreal. It was primarily people of those descent listed above, so I felt kind of special if they want to eat here I will absolutely want to eat here. Sorry if this is corny but if you’re really looking for something authentic, I highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t be shy, ask your waiter or waitress to help you decide what to order they have great attention to detail ensuring your experience will be one to remember

This restaurant has been here for a long time, serving up fresh and delicious Shanghainese cuisine. Always a good time with friends and family for any meal of the day here. Servers are quick and attentive. Can get very busy during peak times. Nice to see a restaurant have lasting power these days.

We came here for brunch late morning on a Wednesday about half an hour after it opened. It wasn't full but it was certainly busy. I was glad that we made reservation. I had been there about half a dozen over the past 10 years or so and I received good services and served amazing dishes every time I came. My husband was craving for sweet sticky rice dumplings with Chinese doughnuts and sugar wrapped inside. He had only had them there before. So between Cantonese dim sum and Shanghai food, we decided to visit Shanghai River. We had hot soy milk (sweet for me and savoury for him), sweet sticky rice dumplings, pork XLBs and scallion pancakes. Everything was wonderful. The doughnut pieces inside the sticky rice dumplings were light and crispy and covered with just a thin layer of sugar. The XLBs were larger than we remembered or typically see elsewhere and they hold a good amount of meat and the essential soup filling. The wrap was just strong enough to let you pick them up without breaking to let the juice run out. The consistency of the wrap was just right. The pancakes were flaky on the outside and the fillings were pillowy. Service was very attentive and courteous. Although our bill only came to $41 before tips, we were so stuffed that we could only have light dinner. Another bonus is the location. It's within a short walking distance from the Brighouse Station so you don't have to brave the Richmond traffic by car.

We weren't sure what to expect when we got to the restaurant as it opened. The servers were still getting ready for dinner service. It looked kind of chaotic. They told us they would be right there to help us...um... we were getting nervous, this might not be a good choice. Once we sat down, though, the service was quick, and the food came out pretty quick as well. We started off with the lamb slices and pickled cabbage. We all had a couple of bowls, but I finished most of it. Lamb slices were so tender, and the pickled cabbage soup had a good level of sourness. The goat chops were really good. Good fat content and meat ratio so the chops melted in our mouths. We also ordered the sweet and sour fish. Although it had a lot of batter, it was crispy and the fish kept its upright shape! We also had the beef burgers and a veggie. We were surprised it was way better than we thought. They were a short staffed but the servers did their best to provide good service. They even tried to accommodate a family party by moving them around a couple of times to where they wanted to sit. It was busy, and they did their best to accommodate.

Very delicious chicken fried rice, with good amount of egg too. This was for 1 person, but as you can see can easily feed 3 people. The freshness was also nice. They have big interior space too. Would prefer if they lower the rice and oil amount. It was quite oily for my taste.

The server, I guess she is the owner was very friendly and funny. She recommended what to try since it was our first time there. We tried chicken fried rice with sizzling beef and kung pao chicken. The food was delicious and definitely hit all the taste buds. It’s a 10/10 place for all Chinese food lovers.

Very traditional Hui Halal restaurant. Serves a variety of dishes. I had the beef noodles and took out seafood fried rice. Beef noodles were good. Noodles was al dente as it should be. Morsel of beef were really tender and melts in the mouth. Broth was rich and savoury. Seafood fried rice was good too. Would have been better if there was some chili oil

Beautiful view of the sunset, nice ambiance, and great food selection! I had the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp, and the shrimp was very delicious! The fish tacos are also delicious... And the truffle fries. The drink with the popping bubbles was also great. The avocado dip was meh. Our waitress, whose name started with a T, was excellent.

This place offers delicious and refreshing dishes with excellent service. The staff is friendly and attentive. However, the only downside was that on several occasions, we found it difficult to flag down a server to refill our water glasses. Nevertheless, the food is undeniably tasty and worth it.

I had a table for three people after work during Happy Hour, and Cactus Club in Richmond Centre was pleasant as per usual. Our servers were very nice and the environment was calm. The food is super filling and always good here. We got two truffle fries, a bacon burger, the chocolate lava cake, and the New York cheesecake. Definitely enough for three people and our total came to 67.34 before tip.

Decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary and haven’t been here in years. When checking in with the host, she was very unwelcoming and not even a smile or a basic, “Hi.” And it wasn’t just us that she acted like this, it was everyone. Although it wasn’t a great first impression, our server was fantastic. Friendly, welcomed us and seemed happy to be there. Our server told us to get the truffle fries with honey and that was delicious. The main was good, but nothing amazing. Overall it was a good date night.

Not bad, not great. Texture of the cooked meats could be better and the fries we’re dissatisfied, but it’s cactus club. So you can’t expect too much, probably wouldn’t come back here other than happy hour drinks.

The multi dishes meal set is unexpected delicious on that price around 13 for 3 dishes. All dishes are fresh cooked. It can come with fried rice or white rice, also come with a cup of Chinese soup. Good deal Great taste

This place had me at the Stewed Pigs Feet. Great taste and the sauce is not overly thick. The Stir-Fried Beef and Onion was too salty. Would not order that again. Staff spoke English and fairly friendly. $8.99 for 2 items on white rice, fried rice or noodles. $9.50 for 3 items. Everything comes with either soup or tea. The crab are prepared to 6 different flavours starting at $12. The Ginger & Onion crab was amazingly tasty. Located in the Richmond Public Market.

Good food for what you pay. Those ladies are nice. You get a soup of the day with a combo meal. Fishcake Eggplant is my favourite. Definitely, 3 item deal is the best you can have leftovers but choose some curry for leftovers. Fried items so be eaten right away.

It's great that you can taste a slice of pizza at a low price. It's everywhere I go. It tastes good and I like it because it's always warm. If you eat a combo for a meal, it's good to give you two big sizes of pizza and eat a big cup of unlimited refill drink!!!

Took advantage of their unlimited topping for $8.88 promotion and for a chain restaurant, the pizza was pretty good, though it looks like they skimp on the amount of topping they put on the pizza. The ones on display in the counter sure looks like it has more toppings than the pizzas I got. The wings were also really good, not soggy like other pizza places. The staff was really nice and friendly.

Good deal! Fresh Slice gives 20% discount for all regular pizza for dine in and pick-up orders. Also, BCAA members gets special discounts for combo menu. I got the ‘meat lovers’ pizza. It does not look attractive but taste good for the price. The food quality went down from last year. The place is neat and clean. Service is good.

Small little dessert shop. Been coming here for years for some Hong Kong style desserts. The owner is nice and let us know one of desserts would take a bit longer since they were in the process of just making it. They delivered it faster than expected. The desserts aren't too sweet and tastes good.

We love Hokkaido ramen, and we are in Richmond, so we went to their new location. Same awesome service like the other locations. Decor is good too. Food quality are same as their other locations. Chashu are great. Ramen not over cooked, but still has great flavour We love this place and we will keep going back

I went for the grand opening. The overall experience was very positive. Despite the long lineup, the waitress was patient and informative, and the service was quick so we didn't have to wait long. The dining area was spacious and clean. The ramen itself was tasty, but is very salty, even with less salt. It's odd that they charge for the hot tea, but that isn't a big deal for me, I just had hot water instead.

While out for a stroll in the neighborhood, I stumbled upon the new Santouka Ramen joint in Richmond. Even though I was in a hurry to get home, I couldn't resist popping in for a quick bite. I grabbed their Super Combo to-go, which came with a bowl of ramen, a salmon and roe bowl, and a cream soda. Sure, I had to wait a bit before getting my grub, but the service was top-notch. The ladies at the counter were always smiling, making me feel welcomed. The place has a mix of seating options, from tables for groups to bar-style seats by the windows and kitchen, perfect for solo diners. All in all, I had a solid experience at the new Santouka Ramen spot. Can't wait to swing by again and I'll definitely be telling my buddies about it.

Good -------- I can't think of anything good to say. The food doesn't taste bad in any way, but it's very far from delicious. This has to be at the bottom of the list of the best ramen restaurants or at the top of the list of the worst ramen restaurants we've ever tried. Bad ------ - expensive for quality of food offered. $18.40 ($16.90 + $1.50 for large) for a "Shoyu Ramen" that consists of only ramen is exorbitant. Yes, it does include two slices of Chashu but each slice is about 3 by 1.5 inches long*** and has the same thickness as a bacon slice - believe me, it's like eating potato chip, you can gobble it in one bite. Pork bone broth is supposed to be rich and creamy. Its Shoyu Ramen is creamy but far from rich. *** I actually measured them with a measurement app 😜😂🤭 - Asked the wife how was her $27 "Ikaru (Salmon Roe) Bowl Combo", that consist of a small bowl of ramen plus a small bowl of salmon roe rice. Her reply, "Meh, it's ok." For a ramen enthusiast to say it's just ok, it really isn't that great. - ordered the $12.95 Tonkutsu. When it arrived, I told my wife, "Looks like we won't be coming back here again...." We were expecting tempura colour-like light, golden brown whole pork cutlet as shown on its menu. Instead, we were handed KFC-like colour, dark brown individual slices of pork cutlets (See picture. Picture colour is lighter than actual) But worst of all was, ***DAMN! IT WAS DRY***.  I guess they were expecting us to soak them into the sauce to compensate for its dryness. Worst Tonkutsu we've ever eaten. - the waitress accidentally handed us a plate of gyoza that was intended for our neighbour. Wife and I looked at each other, agreeing that we were glad we changed our minds from ordering the $7.95 for 5 pieces of gyozas. Each piece was at least 25-50% smaller than typical gyoza. .

When you first walk in, it felt a little stuffy with an overwhelming smell of pork. However, it is a ramen shop after all. It would be nice if the AC was more strong as it was around 23.5 degrees (my table was next to the thermostat). Overall, the food tasted consistent with the downtown location. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Broth was on the saltier side for my taste. Staff was attentive and friendly. Would come back when the ramen craving hits again!
