Dim sum was good but the Har Gow and siew mai was luke warm. some of the dishes didn’t taste very fresh instead it felt like it was reheated. but overall flavour was great. the deep fried taro dumpling made my friend and i feeling quite sick and nauseous after eating it, not sure why. My family regularly likes to dine here. Server was quite rude and impatient when we were paying the bill, asked us to choose a tip % and then never said thank you or anything.

This is my absolute favorite dim sum place in the WORLD! I love this place so much and I have been coming here consistently for the past 10 years and the quality remains excellent. My favorites are the sui mai, truffle dumplings, shrimp cheong fan, and prawn with fish maw. This place is a must try if you’re in British Columbia; it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the world!

Ordered a large lobster and it was shown to us, 3 lbs but we don’t think we got that lobster. Didn’t get the two full claws, only had one or two small pieces of the lobster tail. The photo was taken after two of us had a small serving of two pieces each. Suspect the lobster is not the one that was shown to us. Mostly shells. Ordered another dish of stir fry cubed beef tenderloin but beef was tenderized with tenderizer not the texture we are expecting.

The food is very good. The Fried squid and Siu Mai are very tasty. But the rice roll is very normal. Anyway this is the best of Dim Sun restaurant in our list. Hope to improve the service. We tried to ask for bill. But no one response us. It seems their eyes escaping from our table.

Dropped by for a Sunday lunch - place was packed, as most dim sum related places would be.
Service was good, however some dishes (pan fried bun) toke a questionable amount of time to arrive.
Pan fried bun - long wait to receive, pretty greasy inside - however had a nice crunch to the bun.
XLB - standard, the soup within was pretty tasty , watch out for the temperature as usual.
Crab Claw - No idea why we decided to have this as lunch, was pretty impulsive - did take some time to arrive , very meaty , so nothing to complain about.
Fried Tofu - was the dish highlight, nice crisp with a warm soft interior, spiced to perfection!
Wine drunken Chicken - was soft and juicy, however aside from the cooking wine taste, there wasn't anything more to add.
I would skip a re-visit , as Richmond is pretty competitive, however it's not bad and worth a shot.

I used to love coming here, less frequent after COVID.
I had families in town and took them there, reminiscing on my many good meals in the past. I was greatly disappointed.
What happened to the food here? It's not even 10% as good as it was way back when!
Peking duck was one of the worst I had lately. Dry and flavourless. Both the skin with crepes and the lettece wrap was bland.
The prawn in salad dressing was not edible, oily with an aftertaste.
XLB remained the same though, it was never good to me here. (Personal taste there)
Fish was not fresh and small portion for the price. Seems a lot of dishes' portion are a lot smaller now though.
The braised pork hock in brown sauce was mediocre. Not that soft and sauce wasn't made right.
Jelly fish was decent and serve at perfect temperature.
Hot and sour soup was so bland that I actually made my own the next day and it's not even my cuisine.
Star of the day though, is the rice with salted ham and veggies. Without this dish saving the day, I would vouch to never return here again. It was perfection!
That being said, chances of me coming back again is slim to none. I used to come here once every feel weeks, enjoying pekind duck, crab, lobsters, prawn. After COVID I was still coming once in a while but last visit was it for me.
Sad to say goodbye to such a good place with so many good memories before. After I spoke to some of my friends, they are told me they haven't been coming for a long time now because the quality went downhill. I guess that's true.

Located across from a shopping mall, ground floor of a building. Reservation is recommended as it can get busy on weekends. Not too many Dimsum options; although they do make tasty dumplings on site. We were there mainly for Dimsum so it was a bit disappointing to find limited options. Wonton soup was tasty with great broth. Highly recommending their juicy dumplings. Foods are decent not the greatest for a return. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

A great authentic Shanghai meal at a reasonable price. The turnip pastry is a MUST-have. I highly recommend that dish. Will absolutely go back to try other dishes as well.

While catering mainly to Cantonese, this restaurant serves up some legit, good tasting, flavorful dishes. I've been taken to, and taken friends, both Hong Kong and Mainland China, and we were never disappointed with the items served. Their dumplings had a thin shell, but loaded with soup inside! Gets busy, so go early! A must have each time we visit Vancouver.

Ordered a buddy burger combo, good deal. Their root beer is the best in BC, and their fries are good too. The buddy burger itself is fine, but the patty is small and the cook left half of it hanging out the bun, not great. Solid little meal if you're on the go.

I went upstairs after a Lego event downstairs. It was my first time eating at their renovated food court upstairs.
I saw on their digital menu that they are offering a manager special “Mama burger combo for $7.99” That’s unheard of during these times. I gladly lined up. Service was extra friendly and organized. The thing was it was ALMOST a 5 star. I was just surprised the mama burger seemed to have shrunk a touch… it’s not what I remembered. However, the quality is top notch. Normally this combo is $14. Still an excellent deal. 😬👍

I always visit this A&W to enjoy my favorite onion rings, and they never disappoint. The service is consistently great, and I really love the way Rupinder prepares them — always fresh, crispy, and perfectly done. The staff is welcoming, and the overall experience keeps me coming back again and again. Highly recommend this place for both quality food and excellent customer service!

Came here tonight for a birthday dinner with friends. The inside feels a bit run-down, and unfortunately the service was disappointing — our server seemed rude and uninterested in serving guests.
The food presentation was nice, but the seasoning was off for some dishes. The lamb was quite good, but the hot and sour soup was extremely salty, and overall most dishes leaned too salty.
They do offer limited free parking at the back, but you need to register your license plate inside the restaurant.

Silkway Halal Chinese Restaurant in Richmond is a hidden gem. The food is flavorful, well-cooked, and truly authentic, with generous portions and clearly halal options that give peace of mind. Each dish tastes fresh, balanced, and not overly oily, which is rare to find.
The service is polite and welcoming, and the atmosphere is comfortable for families and friends. A great place if you’re craving real halal Chinese cuisine with quality and consistency. Definitely worth visiting again. 🍜✨

I love coming here for the Happy Hour after 9 PM. It’s the perfect spot to meet up with friends after work—the atmosphere is so chill and relaxing, making it the best place to sip on a drink and have a long, heartfelt conversation. 🥂
We saw the cheesecake at the table next to us and it looked so tempting that we just had to order one. It turned out to be exactly the texture we love! It’s incredibly soft yet has a rich, satisfying consistency. So good! 🍰

Went for lunch today when it opened at 11:30. We had a couple hours in there and it was enough time to eat and then we went into the mall to continue spending time together with our friends. Server was very friendly and efficient. Good was delicious. I had the green goddess salad which was very good. Others had the chicken sandwich, bolognese pasta and the poke bowl.

We had a really enjoyable dining experience here! The food quality was excellent – the sliders were juicy and flavorful, the fries perfectly seasoned, and the lettuce wrap fresh and crisp. The presentation was clean and appealing, making everything feel appetizing.
The highlight was the birthday dessert: a warm molten lava cake with creamy vanilla ice cream, beautifully plated with a “Happy Birthday” message. It was a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel extra special.
Overall, great food, good quality ingredients, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend for both casual dining and special occasions.

To celebrate my father's birthday, my parents, spouse, and I dined at Richmond Center's Cactus Club.
Our meal began with white wine, jalapeño margaritas, spiked frappe, and little pearls. While the Wagyu beef carpaccio was too sour, the prawn and butter squash ravioli was a culinary highlight.
Our first experience with tuna
stack was refreshingly delicious.
Conversely, the salmon aburi's rice was overly sour, whereas the
fish taco was crispy and flavorful.
Regrettably, the sirloin steak
was chewy and did not meet
the standards of the Byrne Road
location. Additionally, the truffle
fries were lacking in truffle topping and were served with a Caesar salad instead of kale salad.
The service was not on par with the Byrne Road location, but we gave a 20% tip due to the New Year's Day celebration.
The total cost of the meal was $222 plus a 20% gratuity.

I went into Cactus Club Cafe at Richmond Centre on December 18, 2025 to place a pickup order for over $100 consisting of fish tacos, rigatoni, chicken strips, and the blackened creole chicken. The supervisor/manager lady that took my order was nice and helpful. The front door host (with the glasses) was welcoming and even apologized to me for the long wait because it was taking over 25 minutes to receive my takeout (25+ mins from the time I paid for my order and not counting the time waiting for someone to take my order) so I was thankful to her for caring. When I got home, I unpacked all the boxes of food and the Blackened Creole Chicken looked small and dry plus the green vegetables looked charred so the overall taste was super disappointing, overall bitter and chewy. Attached is a photo showing what’s Cactus Club Cafe advertises as Blackened Creole Chicken, and also attached is what you actually get for the Blackened Creole Chicken as a takeout order. If that’s how it’s meant to be then I stand corrected but if it’s not the acceptable standard then I’m at a loss.
Reply to Cactus Club (Owner) request to “learn more”. Sorry I don’t recognize that URL plus I’m confused as to what more details are needed. I believe I was very thorough and detailed in my explanation. I think we’d all like to know if what I received (as shown in the takeout photo) is the acceptable Cactus Club standard. If it is then so be it, but if it’s not then I’ll contact the restaurant.

Had an overnight layover and wanted something easy to eat. Spotted this place in Google maps, with decent reviews and decided to give it a shot. First off, the price is very reasonable for unlimited medium pizza. And they don't skimp on toppings. Speaking of which, they have a great selection of toppings, tasted fresh with good flavours with the sauce and crust. It's a multigrain crust which I was hesitant, but honestly tasted great with no noticeable difference in taste. My only negative comment was I thought it was slightly undercooked, the dough was chewy. That said, I would go back again, likely ask for an additional 2 mins in the oven, and try some different toppings.

Decent sweet soup shop. Not a lot of menu options, but has the usual sweet soups.
Compared to another sweet soup shop, the mango pomelo sago here was slightly less sweet which wasnt as popular with my kids.
I got the durian sago which had durian meat, ice cream and it was very good.
Overall, great service. The lady serving owns the shop, and she's very friendly.

The desserts here are absolutely delicious! The black sesame glutinous rice balls were served warm — soft, chewy, and filled with rich, aromatic sesame paste that melts in your mouth. The durian sago dessert was served cold, creamy, and full of that fresh durian fragrance — perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The combination of hot sesame tangyuan and cold durian sago made such a perfect match — warm and comforting, yet refreshing at the same time. Highly recommend for anyone who loves traditional Asian desserts done right!

One of the staff was very rude. The whole time we were there, she kept glaring at us and seemed irritated.
That doesn’t mean everyone there was bad. another staff member was really kind, and we ended up having dessert, which was actually delicious.
However, I’m afraid of running into that rude person again, so I probably won’t go back.

Santouka Ramen near Richmond Centre is always consistently amazing! This time I ordered the limited Black Garlic Ramen, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
The broth was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy. The black garlic added such a deep, aromatic layer — bold, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying with every sip. The noodles had the perfect chew and soaked up the broth beautifully.
The chashu was tender and soft, and the toppings were well-balanced, making the whole bowl comforting yet refined.
The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, and the service was quick and efficient. Perfect spot for a warm, satisfying bowl of ramen.
Highly recommend if you love rich, garlicky ramen — I’ll definitely be coming back for this one! 🍜✨

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Richmond carries a lot of hype as a legendary brand from Japan, but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The ramen was fine but ultimately underwhelming, with a broth that leaned too mild and lacked the depth and richness you’d expect from such a well-known name. Noodles and toppings were decent, but nothing stood out enough to justify the reputation or price, especially in a city with so many strong ramen options.

I came here with friends for dinner and a chat. During the peak dinner rush, there was a queue at the door. The staff were incredibly busy—juggling serving food, taking orders, and clearing tables—which meant they couldn't seat us right away.
Once we were seated, the servers were very friendly and kind, though you could clearly see how exhausted they were from the non-stop rush.
We ordered the Ikura Don (Salmon Roe Rice) and the Vegetarian Ramen. The food quality was great!

The meat was so well flavored and delightful to eat. The atmosphere of the entire place was so nice and calming. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and our waitress was extremely kind and attentive. Will be coming back here in the future :)

Great little pizza place right in the Brighouse bus loop. Order by the slice or the whole pizza. Wonderful taste , inside is nice and clean. Service is quick, but be sure not to drive into the bus loop. They are also open late for those who are in the area later at night.

Ordered here countless of times from the very Beginning where i see the owner baking the pizza himself. Now the quality and quantity of toppings has gone down significantly. The taste is passable. Ordered the Alfredo steak, the steak was tiny bits size and super thin. Couldn't even taste the steak at all, taste more like a vegetarian pizza. The meatballs are soo small and dry, not worth the price at all. The tomato sauce did not help. Super disappointed, if this continues, I will stopped ordering from here.

Went in to get my surprise bag via TooGoodToGo. I paid 6.99 and got 5 large pieces of assorted pizza. It was a good deal for 6.99. They gave you option to reheat it when you pick it up. I heat it up at home in the oven and it was good as good. The pizza was thin and loaded with toppings. I got mostly vegetarian and it works better for me. I highly recommend the surprise bag if you are tight on budget but still want to enjoy good food. Download the TooGoodtogo app and you can see participating stores. Give it a try!

Their pizzas totally blow all their surrounding competition away. The prices are great for the sizes you can get.
