Arrived for a 11AM Dim Sum with a party of 4 on a weekday.
Ordering is done through the server and the dish arrives relatively fast. The space is very spacious and has plenty of tables. It can get lively over the course of the day. They do also sell their own frozen products at the front.
Dishes were tasty and the Deep Fried Squid had a bit of a kick to it.
The restaurant is a bit of a walk as it is on the 3rd floor of a parking lot which was a bit of a surprise and detached from the mall next to it.

The food is very good. The Fried squid and Siu Mai are very tasty. But the rice roll is very normal. Anyway this is the best of Dim Sun restaurant in our list. Hope to improve the service. We tried to ask for bill. But no one response us. It seems their eyes escaping from our table.

Delicious dim sum and dinner menu. Very attentive service, waiter/waitress exchange your plates very frequently. Seating is very spacious and comfortable.

Service can be improved with more patient and less direct servers, but food wise, everything was delicious. Make sure that if you’re going on the weekend, to get a reservation beforehand, otherwise you’d have to wait for a while to get a seat.
We ordered 5 dim sum dishes and a fried rice to share among 4 females and spent around $90+. All seating were at round tables with actual tablecloths. The menu is extensive but some usual favourites like the xiaolongbao is not available.
The special fried rice was really good as they had a thick sauce on top that really complimented the rice. Another favourite was this tofu skin shrimp combo that was filled with tasty goodness. Everything had tons of flavour.
Parking is at the mall and is free. If you park in the tower, you can check in to allow for free parking while dining at the restaurant.

Made reservations a month in advance to make sure I was able to get a spot. Showed up at 10am and was seated fairly instantly. This is hands down the best dim sum I've ever had in my life. Take into consideration that I live near san gabriel valley, CA and grew up in San Francisco. It's fairly priced when comparing to USD, but if you're talking straight CAD, it's quite pricey per dish. The taste is well worth it.

I used to love coming here, less frequent after COVID.
I had families in town and took them there, reminiscing on my many good meals in the past. I was greatly disappointed.
What happened to the food here? It's not even 10% as good as it was way back when!
Peking duck was one of the worst I had lately. Dry and flavourless. Both the skin with crepes and the lettece wrap was bland.
The prawn in salad dressing was not edible, oily with an aftertaste.
XLB remained the same though, it was never good to me here. (Personal taste there)
Fish was not fresh and small portion for the price. Seems a lot of dishes' portion are a lot smaller now though.
The braised pork hock in brown sauce was mediocre. Not that soft and sauce wasn't made right.
Jelly fish was decent and serve at perfect temperature.
Hot and sour soup was so bland that I actually made my own the next day and it's not even my cuisine.
Star of the day though, is the rice with salted ham and veggies. Without this dish saving the day, I would vouch to never return here again. It was perfection!
That being said, chances of me coming back again is slim to none. I used to come here once every feel weeks, enjoying pekind duck, crab, lobsters, prawn. After COVID I was still coming once in a while but last visit was it for me.
Sad to say goodbye to such a good place with so many good memories before. After I spoke to some of my friends, they are told me they haven't been coming for a long time now because the quality went downhill. I guess that's true.
Pearobearo - a week ago
Their version of wuxi style (black vinegar) spare ribs is excellent and probably the most famous dish here. Ribs are lightly breaded and fried and the sauce isn't too sweet, it kind of reminded me of Cantonese preserved plum ribs but more tart.
All the other Shanghaiese classics like beef pancake, lion's head and xlb are also solid. All dumplings and dimsum are made to order (even the fried items) and shouldn't be missed.
Many tables also order the lobster claypot vermicelli noodle and fried taro duck.
At night, Cantonese-style seafood dishes are popular.

All dishes were acceptable - wine chicken very soft and smooth. Vegetarian duck - crispy bean curd, but the ratio of bean curd to mushroom was off. dumplings and buns were juicy, and the oyster rice soup was a surprise - it was 3 whole oysters instead of chopped up ones. The only disappointment was the red bean dessert - the crust was soggy and not enough red beans.

Best fried rice I have ever tasted! The place was packed within 30 minutes of us arriving at just after 5pm with lots of happy families enjoying their time together. The quality and variety of dishes were excellent as well. If I ever get the chance to come to Richmond again I would be excited to share this place with a friend.

Both takeout and dine-in are consistently delicious — you can’t go wrong with either. My favorites are their fried fish, typhoon shelter-style crab, and drunken chicken. The staff are also incredibly friendly, which is rare to find in Richmond. It’s hard to come by a Shanghainese restaurant with such steady quality and great service. Every time I visit Vancouver, I make a point to drive over and dine here. Highly recommended! ☺️

Came here tonight for a birthday dinner with friends. The inside feels a bit run-down, and unfortunately the service was disappointing — our server seemed rude and uninterested in serving guests.
The food presentation was nice, but the seasoning was off for some dishes. The lamb was quite good, but the hot and sour soup was extremely salty, and overall most dishes leaned too salty.
They do offer limited free parking at the back, but you need to register your license plate inside the restaurant.

Amazing Halal Restaurant in Richmond!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Silkway Richmond Halal Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried the shrimp soup, hot pot, and dumplings , all were delicious and cooked perfectly. The hot pot was especially enjoyable, full of rich flavors and generous portions. It’s great to find a halal restaurant offering such variety and quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and tasty halal cuisine in Richmond!

We have been a several times and this is our first review, I know right!
We ordered the CURRY SHRIMP FRIED RICE!
Delicious and flavourful, salt and spice was perfect and on point. Not to salty or anything of the sort!
The 2nd dish was SAUTÉED SEASONAL VEGGIE. With garlic and a savory sauce that was a delight!
The final dish was SAUTÉED CUMIN FRIED LAMB! medium spiced and the salt was on point. Not to spicy or hot , but perfect the way it should be.
I also had GREEN TEA on the side!
Will be back, have been here like a half a dozen times, NEVER DISAPPOINTED always HAPPY & SATISFYING!

Always go there during happy hour. The menu is great in value. All the food has a remarkable discount. Waiters are all very friendly, even I didn't reserve a table in advance. Good food with nice vibe, lights are dimmed with appropriate songs. Good deal to dine out in Vancouver. Also great choice in late night.

We went for happy hour. The food is good but the service is a tad slow. As a server, Rachel needs attitude adjustment. She a bit confrontational rather than accommodating. We felt that she’s dismissive because we are there for happy hour but we spent 50$ per person. We were smiling and mortified how she just threw left cutleries nonchalantly and a tad bitchy. Anyways, we’re still happy with the experience.

Enjoyed a group dinner here. The food was good overall. The squash ravioli was tasty, while the spaghetti portofino was good too. However, the steaks were not tender even though we ordered medium rare.
The atmosphere is pleasant with good service. Parking can be limited since Richmond Centre is quite popular.

Cactus club has been and is one of my favourite places to eat at in Vancouver and Richmond. I celebrated my birthday and the attention we received was lovely. I ordered my favourite dish, grilled salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes, my son a Feenie burger. The truffle fries were absolutely delicious too they even melted in my mouth. Price wise, it’s not an inexpensive place, but the quality, taste and service makes it worth the while.

Cactus Club Richmond – A Fantastic Dining Experience
My recent visit to Cactus Club Richmond was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we experienced outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere. There was very little wait time to get a table, which was a pleasant surprise. A gentleman warmly greeted us and guided us to our table, setting the tone for a great evening.
Our server, Lianne (if I remember correctly), was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We ordered sushi, fries, coffee, and a margarita, and every dish exceeded expectations. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, the fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the margarita was perfectly balanced. The food quality was fantastic, making every bite enjoyable.
Despite the high-quality food and service, the prices were reasonable, making the experience even more worthwhile. The ambiance was lively yet relaxing, creating the perfect setting for a great meal. Whether you’re visiting for a casual dinner or a special occasion, Cactus Club Richmond delivers both in service and taste.
Overall, this visit left a lasting impression, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for delicious food and great hospitality. I will definitely be returning!

Parneet at Subway was absolutely fantastic! I visited on Monday and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine friendliness that instantly made me feel welcome. She was incredibly patient while I decided on my order, offering helpful suggestions without any rush.
Everything she prepared was fresh, neatly made, and exactly the way I wanted—she paid attention to every detail, from the bread to the toppings. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and that really shows in the quality of the food and service. Her positive attitude and cheerful energy made my visit even more enjoyable.
Parneet turned a simple meal into a great customer experience, it was an order of five sandwiches, and I left feeling both satisfied and appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope she’s there to make my sandwich again!

2025.07.30. Subway is relatively fast, cheaper, and tastes pretty good. It's a bargain with your time, budget, taste experience. We like their foot long Italian Herb bread, ham and egg, double up on the vegetables, discount for being a loyalty member. A delicious, tasty light meal for two. Brought my own chilled water in a bottle. Free WiFi, credit cards accepted.

Ordered a buddy burger combo, good deal. Their root beer is the best in BC, and their fries are good too. The buddy burger itself is fine, but the patty is small and the cook left half of it hanging out the bun, not great. Solid little meal if you're on the go.

I went upstairs after a Lego event downstairs. It was my first time eating at their renovated food court upstairs.
I saw on their digital menu that they are offering a manager special “Mama burger combo for $7.99” That’s unheard of during these times. I gladly lined up. Service was extra friendly and organized. The thing was it was ALMOST a 5 star. I was just surprised the mama burger seemed to have shrunk a touch… it’s not what I remembered. However, the quality is top notch. Normally this combo is $14. Still an excellent deal. 😬👍

I ordered the wrong menu item by mistake, and when I went back to try and fix the mistake, I was the one who was blamed, even though the cashier didn't confirm what I was ordering. They fixed my order, but not before making me feel uncomfortable. I'm
pretty sure I paid more that what the correct menu item cost, after the change. Won't be going back to this branch.

If you’re looking for great value Chinese food, check out Wonder Wok! I got three items with rice or noodles for just $16 — an awesome deal. I picked green beans, bitter melon, and short ribs. Also grabbed a small fried calamari on the side for $13. Totally worth it!

Hurray, we found a new gem inside the Richmond Public Market. Wonder Wok—is no doubt a game changer in Chinese set plates located in the food court! Their unique, quality ingredients and dishes really set them apart, and the friendly staff make the experience even better. I always didn’t like eating in this type of fast food serving style as I thought they’re just about the same everywhere (lack of uniqueness and same cooking style), no but not here. It’s like the quality dining in a Chinese fine dining restaurant. For just $15, you get a large tray or a set meal with rice plus three sides and free soup. Good deal!
Definitely my new go-to favourite for a food court Chinese cuisine!

Food was a 3.75. I rounded up for the actual stars.
The popcorn was good not memorable. Sauteed gai lan was cooked well. It was seasoned well and has a good crunch still. The beef short ribs were a little tough. The flavor on these were underwhelming.
All the food was just luke warm. Crank up them lamps and chaffing troughs.

A food stall in Richmond Public Market, which has dozens of other food stalls offering tempting options. What attracted me to Wonder Wok was the mountain of fried goods on the window of the buffet. I ordered 3 items with carb option, which was the best value for the price.
First of all, for the carb, get the chow mein. It's perfectly cooked, with charred taste, not too oily. The deep fried squid tentacles was great, along with popcorn chicken, perfect if you are craving for fried food. I also liked the pork riblets with squash and black bean sauce. My wife adored the eggplant with fish balls, as well as honey garlic pork. The order came with soup or tea, and I opted for the soup, which I did not regret. The soup was simple broth, refreshing for after meal.
While I only visited a few times, I'd dare to say that Wonder Wok is my favourite stall in the market as we speak.

This place had me at the Stewed Pigs Feet. Great taste and the sauce is not overly thick.
The Stir-Fried Beef and Onion was too salty. Would not order that again.
Staff spoke English and fairly friendly. $8.99 for 2 items on white rice, fried rice or noodles. $9.50 for 3 items. Everything comes with either soup or tea.
The crab are prepared to 6 different flavours starting at $12. The Ginger & Onion crab was amazingly tasty.

Visited Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Richmond in April. This is a prolific ramen chain in the Lower Mainland with a somewhat limited menu.
We tried the Shio Chashu Ramen ($19.95), Melon Soda ($5), Takoyaki ($8.35), and Miso Chashu ($19.95). Much more expensive than what we paid for ramen back in Japan but the bowls were filling. I found the cuts of chashu to be on the thickish side.
I preferred the shio (salt) version as it's lighter, creamier, and (ironicallly) less salty than the miso version.
Happy to have melon soda (think it was ramune) in town.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
Japaleno Ramen
8010 Saba Road #110, Richmond, BC V6Y 4B2
Located at Saba Road in Richmond, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka offers a compact yet inviting space for casual Japanese comfort food. During my visit, I have ordered a variety of dishes, with a focus on their signature ramen and rice bowls.
Jalapeno Ramen
The concept of jalapeño-infused ramen promises bold, spicy flavours, but unfortunately, the execution falls short. The broth lacked the punch one might expect from a dish highlighting jalapeño, and the heat was barely perceptible. That said, the broth was still well-balanced, and the noodles had a pleasing texture. The portion size, however, leaned on the smaller side.
Rating: 6/10
Grilled Salmon Hogan
This rice bowl features slices of grilled salmon atop steamed rice. The salmon was nicely seared with a subtle smokiness and tender texture. While the bowl was satisfying in flavour, it was noticeably modest in size, which may leave heartier appetites wanting more.
Rating: 7/10
Ikura & Grilled Salmon Don
A slightly more indulgent offering, this donburi combines rich grilled salmon with bursts of briny ikura (salmon roe). The combination is texturally pleasing and well-balanced in flavour. Again, the portion was small, but the dish was thoughtfully composed and enjoyable.
Rating: 7/10
Mango Ice Cream Float
A delightful and refreshing finish to the meal. The mango flavour was vibrant without being overly sweet, and the ice cream added a creamy, indulgent note. A simple but effective dessert.
Rating: 7/10
Service
Service was efficient, warm, and attentive. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, contributing positively to the overall dining experience.
Rating: 7/10
Ambiance
The space is clean, bright, and minimalistic, with a casual atmosphere that suits quick lunches and low-key dinners. Despite its small footprint, it feels welcoming and well-maintained.
7/10
Pricing
The prices are reasonable and reflect fair value for the quality of food offered. While portions are modest, the ingredients are fresh and well-prepared
Verdict
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is a promising spot for those seeking a quick and satisfying Japanese meal in central Richmond. While portion sizes could be more generous and the namesake ramen could use a bolder kick, the quality of ingredients and friendly service make it worth a return visit. I look forward to trying other ramen variations on a future visit.

Tasty ramen across from Richmond Centre. Pretty good overall and service was good.
Ramen doesn't come with the egg and it's $2.50 add on. Also you cannot add extra noodles. We ordered the gyoza as well and it was tasty .. but pricey at $8.50 for 5.
Main issue is lack of parking as the nearby parkade is for RBC customers. So you'll need to either pay for parking on the street or do it discreetly at RC.

Excellent ramen and sides. The service was attentive, friendly and quick. A great experience overall. Conveniently located close to the Richmond Brighouse Station on the Canada Line..

We stopped by here in the later hours after coming back from Victoria BC.
The place is very nice with a lot of space. Small gift/snack area.
Food selection and price was good.
We had ramen for the kids.
One of my kids has a food allergy to milk and egg and while the staff confirmed the ingrediants didn't have these, he still had a slight reaction. Staff offered another dish with careful attention to any cross food processing with allergens. He had a dish that was prepped and he was happy and feeling better.
Thank you staff for that.
I had Chicken Katsu and it was perfect.
Our Server was Miu, she was VERY HELPFUL AND GREAT!!!
Definitely coming back.
