In the heart of east broadway, it’s a very busy cafe, great service. I ordered my favourite clay pot tofu with seafood, it comes with vegetables at the bottom, plenty of bbq pork, sea foods was very fresh and full of delicious oyster sauce.
Affordable price, huge portion, I would definitely go back to try other dishes on the menu. Cash only.

This place was a quick find near my work, and turns out they’re great for the price you pay! great portions and great authentic taste and very quick service (I went there for my lunch break and did not have much time to waste, not only was I done with food and payment - I also had some extra time until my break ended!) I did not have cash so the lady upfront let me me with interac etransfer! would definitely recommend!

The restaurant definitely feels like a blast from the past, it kinda smells like commercial so cigarettes and weed which is not my favourite and it's kinda drafty but it adds to the experience and me and my friends are kinda crazy so 5 stars. The food is also decent, they have a big variety and it's pretty good. Overall I think it's a fun experience to come with friends.
I really like their deep fried prawns. And I want to try their brunch here too.
The photos are from 2 separate times we went.

Please don't let the lower stars better you from this place. The food is solidly good and hits a certain kind of craving. You need a diner that's not crazy greasy? This is the place for you! Everything and everyone is just right--right down to the slightly worn and wonky furniture.

I enjoy going to this restaurant. The food is great, with big portions at a reasonable price. The staff have always been nice, respectful, and make me feel very welcome and appreciated.

Excellent food and very nice service. Lady who took my order and made it took care and did a great job. Came for the 9" classix club Thursday deal $8.50 plus tax. Great sandwich. Toasted to perfection. Would greatly recommend amongst the many fast food joints on this stretch of Commercial Dr.

Very good pizza! Not the best, but definitely good. I ordered from Uber Eats, and Fatih's was open late, so I reluctantly ordered from them.
My pizza was a solid 4 out of five stars, and I'll probably order from them again. The pizza sauce could use more garlic, as it was hard to tell if it even had any - tasted more like straight tomato paste, but was okay. And the topp8ngs were too expensive.
I paid about ten dollars more than the pizza was worth for what I received, but still enjoyed it. One other thing: it came with a wonderful side of green pesto dipping sauce that kicked the whole flavor profile up another notch or two; so if you love pesto, you won't be disappointed by the one Uncle Fatih's offers. Would be a better value though if they didn't change extra for it.
Okay, so one more 'one other thing': never on my entire life have I seen a pizza with seaame seeds as a garnish/topping. Zoon in on the photo and you will see sesame seeds sprinkled all around the periphery of this pizza. I didn't see sesame seeds listed as an ingredient, let alone as an option - don't know if they could be an allergy risk for some folks. In my case however, I LOVED the seeds; they contributed to the overall flavor profile of the pizza in a way only a sesame seed affictionado would truly appreciate!
In a nutshell: very good pizza, but overpriced. GO UNCLE FATIH'S!

The food is always delicious and fresh. High turnover at that location. Nice seating area to eat. Recommend the garlic sauce on any of the pizza! The gentleman working there was so sweet to me and my daughter! My daughter just got her vaccines so he made our day better.

Really yummy pizza for super affordable price. I love how cozy (but very small) the space was to eat. Napkins and condiments were readily available.

Really cool place! We got a table for four right away. They have a great beer list and cocktails if beer isn't your thing. We got a pizza with half mushrooms and half pepperoni. The pizza is massive and the one fed the four of us easily. We also got some fries that were great. The service was awesome and friendly and it was a nice day so all the garage doors were open. Excited to be back!

St. Augustine’s Apizza is one of the best spots on Commercial Drive for a fun night out!
Whether you’re with a small group or a big crew, the energy is always great, the staff are friendly and on it, and the pizza is hands down the best bar pie in Vancouver. Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavour, it’s the real deal.
Add in a huge beer selection (even non-alcoholic beer) and games on the TVs, and you’ve got the perfect hangout spot.
Easily one of my favourite places to eat and chill in the city.

I checked out St. Augustine’s on Commercial Drive for drinks with friends, attracted by their huge selection of craft beers. They have over 60 beers on tap, mostly from local microbreweries, which is impressive if you’re into trying different beers. The vibe is casual, but it can get loud and crowded, especially during game nights or weekends.
We grabbed a table inside because the patio was already packed. Service was friendly, and the server gave some good recommendations from their beer menu. Food-wise, the menu had some tasty pub-style dishes like pizza, burgers, and appetizers. Prices were reasonable, but portions could have been a bit bigger.
Overall, it’s a good place if you love craft beer and a lively atmosphere. Just be prepared—it gets busy fast

The food here is amazing. It is one of my top three pizza places in Vancouver and I have an ongoing list of about 130. The beer selection is great, but some of the servers, especially one lady, are lacking friendly server skills but otherwise it's the pizza is phenomenal

First time coming to Loku. Lovely space very cozy.
The prices are fairly reasonable especially today when most things are over priced especially for sushi rolls.
The service was fast and efficient and staff make great recommendations.

Food was good for the price. Now it is really hard to find sushi places for this affordable price.
One thing though, my salmon poke don, I wanted the veggies to be fresh but it was almost all picked like cucumbers, radishes and even green beans. So it was too sour. But other than that, it was good!

Cool local sushi shop on Commercial drive. The owner is super friendly and nice, have fun chatting with him if he’s not too busy. There’s sometimes some special things that aren’t on menu to ask for.
Their menu is quite extensive, and while more known for takeout and delivery, they have some seats available for dine in as well.
Pricing is very good and you get a lot for what you pay for. The food is good and the fish is fresh! Definitely a new go to sushi place for me. Give it a try if you’re in the area or looking for takeout or delivery.

My wife and I eat sushi regularly enough to know when it's not good. I'm not saying we're experts, but we know enough.
The restaurant is tiny. But the atmosphere is what you'd expect from a restaurant named "Naruto". Yes I know that the character from the show is named after the pink and white piece in ramen, but they like anime as well so I'd wager it has a double meaning.
The staff, in our experience, was very friendly, very professional. The prices were reasonable. I'm very happy with our experience.
Keep up the great work Naruto sushi! We'll be back! 😂

If you are looking for healthy option this vegan mexican restaurant is a must try. My favorite is the Ronny Russel and the vegan desserts are incredible. **5-Star Review for The Burrow**
The Burrow, formerly known as Bandidas Taqueria, has truly elevated the plant-based Mexican dining experience! As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover such a flavorful and creative menu. Every dish bursts with fresh ingredients, vibrant colors, and bold, authentic Mexican flavors. Their house-made salsas are phenomenal, and the vegan tacos are hands-down some of the best I’ve had. The warm, welcoming ambiance and friendly service make it the perfect spot for a cozy meal with friends. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or just love great food, The Burrow is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We ordered the nachos, tacos, and enchiladas. Highly recommend their pascale mark nachos!!! That was amazing😍and you must have to eat them with sour cream and salsa.(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) The only food we didn’t finish which was chipotle tofu enchiladas…it was delicious but too salty for us…BTW, don’t forget to try their tacos~~🌮🌮
We also tried the Friday special drink which is called hibiscus lemonade, sweet and sour taste, really refreshing, could be nice choice! But my favorite was their special drink on their spring menu, called “Let your mango”. That was fantastic!!!😎😎
Overall great, we’ll come back again!

If you’re looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute gem. My parents have been loyal customers since the 1980s, making the trip from Seattle almost every week to indulge in what they believe is the best Chinese food ever. Now, as an adult, I make it a point to join them, and the experience never disappoints. The consistency is unmatched — every visit guarantees the same high-quality, mouthwatering dishes that have kept us coming back for decades.
The flavors are bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced, and there’s a sense of comfort knowing you’re always in for a fantastic meal. It’s rare to find a place that has maintained such excellence over the years, and this restaurant has truly earned its reputation. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, you can count on the fact that every meal here will be just as amazing as the last. Simply put, it’s the best Chinese food you’ll ever have!

Haven't been here in very long time but glad we did. Was eating across the street at The Burrow for dinner and since still hungry we thought to come by for soup. Our server was very kind and nice. She looks like a famous actress but couldn't remember the name.
Anyways very yummy Chinese soups we had but look forward coming again soon.

One of the best we had.
Authenticity 5/5
Food quality 5/5 (The amount of diversity in their ingredients are crazy)
Food quantity 6/5 the portions were massive!
The price is really good for its portions.
Service 5/5 it’s not the friendliest to some customers they don’t really smile and suck up to you, but that’s how we like it. They’re fast and they do take care of you like legit Chinese aunties and uncles.
We will be def going back. Thank you for the great food!

Turkish street food is in town for the first time! Finally👍 They are conveniently located on East Broadway at Commercial drive, yellow food truck. As a native street foodie I am happy to say you won’t be disappointed. Delicious just like the ones you’d get at Istanbul streets and probably higher quality. Great customer service! Try the messy/wet burger, Yengen, Cig kofte (vegan) and you might be even treated by some Turkish candy bars ( well it was my birthday 🥳). Definitely will be back!

I walked passed the food truck and was excited to try Turkish food. I've never had it before. I've had different middle eastern cuisine though.
I asked what I should order and was told the kofte is the most popular. So I ordered it and the messy burger.
In my opinion it took too long as I waited 30minutes for my order and I found the food very bland and not flavorful. The kofte had no real taste and the messy burger was just ketchup and ground beef.
