I visited this pizza store today and had a wonderful experience. Annette provided outstanding customer service. She was extremely polite, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. It’s rare to meet someone so kind and professional. The pizza was fresh, hot, and very delicious. You can really taste the quality. I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely recommend this place to others. Great service and great food!

Convenient location and friendly staff, but the pizza itself was below average. The chicken slice had very little chicken, and the sauce was minimal as well. After that experience, I almost decided not to try Fresh Slice again, but I later had two slices from another location and they were much better.

The pizza at the Joyce location is really delicious with lots of toppings! The staff are also very friendly, and the store is clean, which makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming here often!

Sushi Taku is a corner restaurant located on Joyce Street. They offer sushi at a reasonable price, and it's also tasty. I would recommend it if you want a quick bite and are in the neighbourhood.

A nice little corner walled sushi joint with good decent sushi rolls. Our favorite was the Pokemon roll. It was interesting and tasted really good. Salmon and tuna were very fresh and the roll portions were good.

the worst rolls i’ve ever had. salmon and cream cheese roll is mostly rice, could barely taste salmon with that much rice. the place is very run down.

Sushi Taku is a small, cozy spot with genuinely friendly service. The space is simple and quiet, but the staff are incredibly welcoming. The sushi is fresh and well made, with perfectly balanced portions. No skimping on the fish/meat etc., but also not overloaded with rice (which I find some places will do). It’s one of my favorite sushi spots in the area and definitely worth trying.

I just ordered from them through Uber Eats, and I swear, their pizza is on the best in town! Their pizza is always so consistent, cheesy, and the crust is amazing. And for $16.50 for 5 large pieces is a mega steal!! Not only that, I had requested their homemade sauce on the side, however they sent me a new container of ranch sauce instead — free of charge! Thank you so very much!!

I remember when this place had 99 cent slices. Now prices gone up, portions and quality gone down, yet childhood nostalgia always brings me back. Nevertheless, still better than the Freshslop nearby that's for sure...

First time came to here for a slice of pizza was more than 20 years ago, and it was 99 cents a slice then… Every time since then, when I had a chance to be in the area, definitely would come here for pizza.

I discovered this place upon moving to the neighbourhood 2y ago. Their spicy chicken with the fresno chiles, habinero, banana pepper and bell peppers hits 💯✨️🎯🎯🎯🥵🔥🔥 delicious and spicy. I horked down the slice in under 2mins. Not a bad value, either with a can of diet coke (which, you all know is the way to my heart 🔥💯). Nice guys here, too!! I feel bad Fresh Slice is across the street bc this place is far superior. 💯💯💯💯

I went there to have Coxinha, they fried it right away, it looked soooo good, good size and fair price. But the filling wasn’t that good, they use some seasoning that it’s too strong and not good at all, unfortunately. Also had a beef empanada it was good. They have a variety of Latin American products, the prices are ok, some are more expensive compared to other Latin American stores.

Amazing treasure on Joyce St! It’s almost too good to be true. Fantastic Latino products and, being Brazilian, I couldn’t help but notice the great variety of all sorts of products. There were lots of pães de queijo, arroz, feijões, and other day-to-day products that we don’t usually find in franchise supermarkets. The snacks are perfect and, having tried both the pastel and the coxinhas, we just can’t recommend enough.

This is a great bakery. I really like the consistency of the food. It's always the same and very good. The store is quite tight inside, but does have many options. Definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for years, they have the best Chilean meat empanadas. And the chacarreros are full of flavour. Amazing variety of Latin American products. Fair prices, also the desserts are so delicious. The Torta mil hojas is moist and not too sweet. The bread is delicious. The staff is very friendly. Feels like an original tienda from back home.

I like this place just for the empanadas, beef and chicken are my favourite! I've tried their desserts a few times and being Latin I have a high standard for this type of traditional desserts and at least when I tried them they tasted old, nothing exiting! If they didn't have Chilean empanadas I wouldn't probably go back

I’ve been coming to this Subway for the past 2+ years, and it’s consistently been a fantastic experience. The sandwiches are always built with care, fresh ingredients, and a clean atmosphere. The staff is incredibly polite, friendly, and quick to help with any customizations or preferences. The atmosphere here feels warm and welcoming, making it a comfortable spot to grab a meal. Whether I'm stopping by for a quick lunch or a more relaxed visit, it always feels like a homely place to unwind and enjoy great food. They also have great deals going online in their app, which I constantly use. Highly recommend!

This review this is only for an employee named Arsh. My husband and I work late nights and this store is our go to. We have been here more times than I can count, and EVERYTIME this employee has given the same top-notch service. I work in customer service and I know how difficult it is to be consistent with our service everyday. He is super generous, always greeting us, smiling and never gets an order wrong (consistently). One day and there was a different employee at the restaurant (won't name them as they might be having a bad day), and I didn't get a good service from them and I realised how much effect just a smile and greeting can make! Please ensure all your employees take tips from Arsh, as he is one of the best employee of Subway (saying this as a super loyal customer of Subway who has visited several branches in Vancouver).

Service is great but cleanliness wise, they need to do a little bit better specially during late night or early morning. I understand that it gets busy sometimes but the staffs need to clean up a bit more. There’s trash all over the kitchen floor and food prep counters were not wiped!! *will change this review if its better next time im in the area

I just went there and it was great experience and good envirnoment. Cashier Baban brar took my order and Hardeep serve me fresh food. i had to wait there for 3-4 minutes but i was worth it. Highly Recommended.

This place is such a convenient and affordable Hong Kong style cafe! Randomly decided to walk in and see how the bubble tea was and was superseded at how great the prices were! I just got a regular Taro slush with pearls bubble tea this time around but I want to come back to see how the food is. They also have a bar which is fun. This is definitely more of a casual spot for friends than a first date location though.

I ordered through Uber Eats and got the Any 2 BBQ Items Combination BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork with a Small Iced Lemon Black Tea. The addition of the steamed broccoli and the fried egg were a nice surprise with my meal. The BBQ Pork had some end pieces which I always enjoy as they tend to be a bit more charred. The charred bits have some nice crunch that I really enjoyed. The Roasted Pork had crispy skin and super juicy meat with some nice fatty parts as well. The combo had perfect amount of food for the the price the egg had a semi runny yolk. I was very happy with the meal the iced lemon black tea was very refreshing with the meal on a hot day. I have walked by the restaurant many times, next time I will go in and have what I am sure will be a great meal.

Chicken here is a solid thousand out of 100! These guys just go to show that you don't have to have great atmosphere to have the best chicken in town! The clientele here is solid as well! I'll take the Pepsi challenge on these guys all day! These guys make Church's Chicken and KFC look like the clown from Ronald McDonald, only they've lost their taste. Try them I'm not a salesperson but these guys you don't have to sell.

Have been to this location many times and the chicken is always consistently juicy and fresh. I got the half and half; soy garlic and yangnyeom fried chicken with shake fries. The portion of the fries was quite little so I recommend skipping those. But the chicken portion is pretty decent .

I had called beforehand and they said my food would be ready in 20 minutes but when I got there after 20 minutes I was told to wait another 5 minutes. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes! This is frustrating because I had called in advance and when I finally got my food I was asked to pay again even though I had already paid. At least the chicken was fresh and really good.

It was my first time trying Filipino food recommended to me by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Their pork sinigang had good flavor and was not super sour as I feared. I can't quite remember the names of the other dishes I had, but the Kare Kare was on point. Tender beef with a rich peanut style curry sauce. Just thinking about it makes me hungry 😋 My favorite had to be the pork cooked in shrimp paste sauce. It was very tasty and went great with rice. One small complaint I had is that for the pork cooked in the shrimp paste sauce, the pork was a little old tasting and texture wise too. It wasn't the softest or most succulent of meat compared to the other dishes I had here. You get one free rice, and in retrospect when they asked do you want to add one more rice? Yes. Absolutely. The was a lot of leftover sauce which felt too good to be wasted. Plato Filipino's turon was also tasty, with a crispy caramel topped wrapper with banana inside. For 16.50, I cannot complain. You get 2 dishes and a free rice. It fills you up and there is free water as well. The restaurant interior was a bit too hot for my comfort, so we sat on their outside patio tables. The service was quick and friendly, I like my food served with a smile. Overall, 4/5 stars. I would absolutely come back here again.

Feels like home! Yummy homestyle Filipino dishes! We got the 2-dish promo and tried the kare-kare & pork steak. We bought biko for takeout too. Generous food servings. Pleasant, clean & tidy restaurant. Very warm & friendly service from Karen & Ricks. We'll try the other dishes next time!

I always come here for that good old nilagang tendon. It's a bit chilly today so I though I deserve one. The taste here is so good for my taste, as always. Its my first time dining in 'coz I always have it to go. And for today's order, I find the serving a little bit less than usual. I hope they are consistent with their portioning.

The Pad si ew was actually pretty good! The portion was decently-generous and food tempurature was *Molten* hot (was concerned about the food getting cold walking back to campus, but this was largely unfounded)🔥🔥🔥. Flavours were good, but i would get spicier next time around... i can handle the heat lol. Good stuff, though. The wait is worth it, be patient 💕✨️💯🌈🙏🏻

I had pat thai and cashew chicken at food truck for dinner, both tasty I like them:) but there is one thing I should say about is vegetables in cashew chicken was not cooked well. All onions are too spicy. It wasn’t like good semi-cooked crispy texture, it was just raw. Overall good 👍

I found this little gem just off of Cabie st. I ordered the Pad Thai. I customized my order to level 5 hot, with chicken, prawns and pork. Well, when it was handed to me, the details were in the making. The food was plated very professionally. From there on at the first bit, the Pad Thai hit the right spot. The depth of flavor, the texture, and the variety of spices was spot on for me. Each bite with a different meat was delicious. All 3 of the meats were soft and flavorful.. its nove very often I find a food truck that is doing it right. . I give Props to the crew 👏. The chefs setting the flavor and the details put into the presentation. Top notch. And many thanks for the great experience.. If you like Pad Thai.. you know who to look for. Thai Box On ATruck... doing it right.
