4 Star Rating Had a lovely breakfast here this morning with some girlfriends! We each ordered something different and then sampled off eachothers plates! What delightful flavours! The bacon, chicken, eggs all were fresh and full of robust flavours. Coffee was delicious too! I will visit again!

4 Star Rating Food was great for the weekend brunch menu! I’d rate this in between a 4-4.5. Chicken and waffles was great! Very crispy and delicious! Brisket sandwich was good but not my fave. Also replaced chips with broccolini. Not as flavourful as I was hoping. KFC was good, had a bit of a kick to it but great sauce! Waiters were nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend a visit!

5 Star Rating We went there based on Google reviews and didn’t make a reservation, so we ended up waiting for about half an hour. The food was quite good, but the dessert was the real surprise! We originally wanted to order the mushroom-shaped cake, but it was sold out by the time we got to dessert. Instead, we tried the pistachio and passion fruit cakes. The pistachio cake was delicious—not too sweet, with a rich but balanced flavor. You could easily finish the whole cake without feeling too heavy. The passion fruit cake was interesting; it had a unique texture with small bits in each bite. The flavor was a mix of sweet and sour, but distinctly separated rather than blended. I enjoyed tasting it, but eating the whole cake might have been a bit much. The service was quite good, though it was a bit noisy since the restaurant was full.

5 Star Rating This brunch spot has officially become my go-to—and a hidden gem I’m recommending to everyone! I don’t even know where to start—the **salmon bagel**, **KFC Dutch pancake**, and **mushroom toast** are beyond delicious. And let’s talk about that **cosmic mushroom cake**… absolutely out of this world! I’ve visited three times, and every experience has been consistently amazing. Great food, great vibes—never disappointed. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating The Torched Wild Sockeye Salmon is a MASTERPIECE!!! So flavorful! Literally the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. The Salmon Wellington was spectacular as well; it came with saffron cauliflower, which was notably delicious. I hope to return here one day!

5 Star Rating We had a lovely dinner. The food was delightful and our server was great. We even ended up getting dessert to keep the evening going! It was also nice weather outside and we were able to sit on the patio. Note: the inside definitely smells like seafood (comes with the territory haha), but many people still say indoors.

5 Star Rating It was my first time visiting , but I was looking forward to it because the reviews were good. Pre-dinner bread was served warmly, Oysters were fresh and the food was all excellent. The waitress was calm and kind and gave us chocolate for free. It was a happy hour on weekdays, so I could eat in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We will surely come back.

4 Star Rating Restaurant is quite nice, I really enjoyed the cooked fish. The paella was interesting, not what I am used to as the ones that I’ve had in Spain was a lot more watery, but I am not an expert in Spanish cuisine. There was a bit of a weird aftertaste that I did not enjoy, but that might’ve been a specific herb rather than quality of the ingredients, I will give benefit of the doubt here as I quite enjoyed everything other than that small fact. Service was good and atmosphere was nice, would recommend.

2 Star Rating I just want to share a short review to save your time: Good Reception. Beautiful location facing the Burrard Inlet and Downtown Vancouver skylight. Customer base in this restaurant appears to be generally seniors, that defines the tranquil vibe. They were understaffed and it took easy half an hour for a starter meal to get ready. Plates they served were all wet with drops of water on them that we had to ask to be replaced with dry ones. Food taste is average at best. All in all our experience was far from great. With the price you're paying you expect a certain level of quality and service.

3 Star Rating Pier 7 was just okay. While their plates look expensive and are eye catching the food on them doesn’t match the display in flavour. A few of our dishes the fish was overcooked, and for some reason the muscles may be the woest I’ve ever had. It has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t go back for the prices. Being on the water is nice though!

5 Star Rating Booked reservation on Open Table. Friendly, excellent customer service from Yusaf and Ainsley. Enjoyed Yusaf's recommendation of a local craft beer, Czech Pilsner by Wildeye Brewing, and Ainsley's recommendation of the crispy, light batter, delicious Pacific Cod & chips. The french fries were plank cut; crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Whatever seasoning they used on the chips, it was tasty. The view from the table was of the ocean; saw a seal bobbing by and local watercraft. There is an outdoor seating area where you can look at the $200 million dollar superyacht Attessa V docked close by. Recommend Friday afternoon in the summer as the Shipyards Market has a large vendor market & live music. Great date night!! FUN! ... we took the city bus to the Lonsdale Pier /sea wall area and walked around. There are a couple parking garages in the area that have paid parking.

2 Star Rating there was a few minute wait before being seated, not a big deal but it was 5pm and only 3 other tables in restaurant. The host was wearing jeans that were not buttoned up at the top, and actually rolled down to show her stomach. That is a strange uniform... 15 minutes later server came by to give order, my wife vegetarian so limited choice for her. Got a half nacho and Ceasar salad, while I ordered spaghetti meatballs .Another 15 before any food arrived. Only 1 item came. It was the 1 of the 2 items my wife ordered. After 15 more minutes we finally had someone walk by and we asked about the rest of the food. My spaghetti had just been sitting in the pass through entire time. We inquired about wife's 2nd item, a small Ceasar salad. It then arrived a few minutes later with bacon bits all mixed in. No where on menu did it say bacon. We had them take the salad away and asked why our 2 year old sons food had no come yet. They brought it out right away, meaning it was just sitting in the pass as well. Always serve children first, especially if they are toddlers. No one likes to watch their parents eat food. Nachos did taste good and spaghetti meatballs were a huge portion that I had to take home.

4 Star Rating I don’t know how I feel about some of the drinks, they are definitely different but absolutely worth a try! Food wasn’t the best but it was such a fun place to hang out and have cocktails. I’m a little bit upset because on the menu beans and rice costed $4 but my receipt showed $5 so I asked our server and she just said “yeah it’s extra so that’s the price”. I didn’t want to argue with her so I just paid but I was expecting more customer service. Yeah it’s only a buck but it’s kinda false advertising and if I was drunk I wouldn’t have noticed I was mid-charged.

5 Star Rating At was our first time at Raglan’s Bistro & their colourful patio & sign 🪧 caught our eye. We were so happy that their patio was open & they turned on the heater for us & our pup. I ordered the piña colada 🍍 🥥 🍹 & huevos rancheros with a side of summer sausage. While my husband ordered a burger & she staff accommodated his request to make the order vegan. The food came out quickly & was HOT. 🍽️ the summer sausage caught my eye as soon as the staff brought it out: it was colourful & looked juicy. And after taking a bite: I knew it wasn’t just store-bought/ a ready to cook sausage. It juicy & burst with flavour with each bite, & was so good that I had to ask if it was house-made or a specialty order. One of the staff said it was indeed house-made & took lots of recipe-tweaking. My cocktail was refreshing after finishing up a walk around Mahon Park & felt like I was in a tropical country. 🌴 And my cast iron plate of huevos rancheros was filling, scrumptious & definitely made our stroll worth it. My husband was happy with a full belly with his burger. 🍔 Highly recommend Raglan’s for their friendly staff, colourful & heated patio, & yummy food. 💯

3 Star Rating A bit disappointed given the ratings and popularity of the place. I did like the atmosphere and tropical juice blend drinks but found the food we tried only decent with nothing great. The strawberry maple-butter waffles were small and oddly portioned (3 half waffles). The hash browns that come with the burgers at lunch were okay but fries would have been much better but are not offered at brunch. We ate inside on a cold day and they had the fan cranked such that it was freezing and kept blowing the menus around on the table. I'm unsure if they turned it down after we asked or not but it was fairly annoying.

5 Star Rating I grew up in Germany and so it is nice to have a piece of Heimat here in :) We have been here many times before , with family and friends, and gave them a great review but it has disappeared. They have a cozy atmosphere and excellent service! Christian is the owner and chef and it always a delight to speak to him. We had the Swiss Raclette and I had the Schnitzel Gypsy style (Mother's day special) where I usually have their regular Wiener schnitzel. We love the Schnitzels, the mushroom sauce (we ordered an extra one) and their panfried potatoes , Yummy! Bonus: the portions are generous :) They also have a nice selections of wines and German and other European beers :) And another bonus, have live music on certain days. We will be back!!

3 Star Rating We were excited to come dine here. Having grown up with German food on a weekly basis and a friend from Germany we booked a reservation. The four of us were excited knowing we had a time limit so we thought they'd be expeditious with good service. The Gentleman at the front greeting those with reservations warmly and informing those without would have to come back around 8 / 8:30. As an analyst I picked up on the mildly passive aggressive tonality of his voice. Politely but loudly letting an elderly Asian female customer know that Face masks are not needed at this establishment and having to repeat it thrice before the lady realized she shouldn't wear her face mask. She looked confused and a bit hurt by his sharp words that were delivered in a loud smile.... that exchange did leave me a wee bit on edge. I began to wonder what was next. Besides, we were already seated and had begun ordering. Very much happy with our table service while I was listening to the gentleman at the front guiding people in. The regulars were greeted with friendly banter of familiarity. All of whom were older. A senior like me but different. Yes they were regulars. For which I had thought to myself. I really want to come back for more. Our group chatted about the food and happily ate our meals while discussing things about life in Munich and family overseas etc. Chatting about our memories of weekly Schnitzel nights at home with cabbage and sausages and when we were good kids we'd get to have strudel. Night of making spaetzle over a pot of boiling water and cooked on the pan with gobs of cheese. So the dishes brought back fond memories for all of us. Even my partner who is Japanese. It reminded her of the days her mother and uncle would reminisce of their days in Germany back in the sixties. So she was excited to be able to dine here as much as the rest of us. We did notice that we were waiting for quite some time after we finished our meal for the desert menu which came when they reminded us our time limit was about up and that the next reservation would be coming soon but may be a bit late. So we had time to order desert. Once we got our final part of the meal. That said Gentleman at the front happily greeted the next reservation who very loudly, almost mockingly that they have arrived and we were to vacate our table asap. We were all shocked and rather embarrassed. It was as if he picked us out from the crowd because of our skin colour. Was this the case? I certainly hope not. Suddenly I didn't feel welcome at all and frankly was quite off put by his abrupt behaviour. Sure their place is busy and yes most clientele are older and. But I felt something that I hadn't felt in a long time. Not since the sixties and seventies. I did let the server know of this and she said she has heard this before. Maybe he's just a character like the Soup N from Seinfeld or the Angry Waiter from Int. Chinatown. But this was different. Or maybe he just has a lot of stress. I'll leave it at that. But I won't be coming back despite how good we thought it was to come here. It was disappointing that we may have been profiled after my observations of said Gentleman in his dealings with certain customers. So it pains me to write something that started so promising, short of feeling sick after our dining experience and needing a much deserved walk for recovery. So 3 stars comes with a generous heart after much deserved contemplation.

4 Star Rating Overall my experience was a positive one at Taps & Barrel. Given this is the flagship location I had higher expectations. Upon arriving we were greeted warmly, we had a reservation our waiter took us to the wrong table that was reserved for someone else, then when it was our turn our waiter / server did not clean / prepare our table. We requested for a high chair during the booking process and to be seated upstairs. That was not a big deal but the floor was utterly dirty and drinks spills were still on the table. We ended up cleaning that ourselves. The food was a saving grace, my kid loved their mac and cheese. Only complain is that we requested for a medium rare steak it came to well done. That is okay it was a busier day so we accepted that, also the food got really cold real fast that is something else that should be looked into. My burgers got cold within 5 minutes after serving. The fries were warm at best. But still very delicious! These are my two cents.

5 Star Rating A Perfect Brunch Spot for a Special Celebration. Today we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 75th birthday at the Tap & Barrel, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptional - attentive without being intrusive. The food was outstanding, with all sorts of eggs cooked to absolute perfection. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The free refill coffee was a great touch (though we wished the same applied to tea refills). The setting itself added to the experience. The restaurant was spotless, bright, and delightful, with large windows that let the sunshine stream in, creating a warm and vibrant ambiance. The view was spectacular, making our brunch feel even more special. Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate such a milestone. A lovely touch though would have been a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl - like many local places offer.

5 Star Rating Pet friendly patio on lonsdale, beautiful seating under tiki style umbrellas, with the waters in the background. Perfect on a sunny day. Recommend their sangria, it was absolutely delicious, and their 3 dip platter. The side roasted vegetables was to die for, very flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The pita was slightly dry, or may to be covered and served to prevent it gets bone hard, but overall the cookery was spot on for the rest, with friendly service. Nice water bowl served and we were taken care of well! The place has been serving since 40 years, and it holds up to its reputation through time, must visit spit

5 Star Rating We came to Vancouver from Winnipeg with my fiancé to celebrate my birthday yesterday, but it ended up raining all day, which made me feel a bit sad after having such a long trip. We decided to stop by Anatoli just for dinner before heading out to a bar — but the experience was so amazing, we didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere else after. It was quite busy (Friday evening) so we had to wait for a food , but the bartender made us feel so welcome and truly set the mood for the evening. I had just two cocktails while we waited — they were absolutely delicious (and strong!), and I already felt lighter and happier. The food was honestly THE BEST Greek food I’ve had in Canada — full of flavor and reminded me of the time I lived in Cyprus. To top it off, we were surprised with a birthday dessert — the Ekmek was SOOO GOOD and such a lovely, thoughtful touch. I wish I caught the bartender’s name, he had a very nice British accent if that helps. He truly made the evening special with his AMAZING service, and I’m so grateful we chose to stop by.

Whether you’re a fan of Greek cuisine or trying it for the first time, Anatoli Souvlaki is a gem that deserves all the praise. We’ll absolutely be back—again and again!

5 Star Rating Very tasty food, especially love moussaka, fried squid and greek salad. Friendly staff and good service. Incredible atmosphere at any time of the year. The only request is not to pour lemon on dishes, but to serve lemon separately, so that everyone can choose the right amount of acidity in the dish. Thanks to the staff.

5 Star Rating The food was fantastic! We were simply seeking a casual dining experience, and this place completely exceeded our expectations. It was actually quite good, even better than we had anticipated. However, the server appeared a bit overly eager to encourage us to order alcoholic beverages. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience was great. I also enjoyed the restaurant’s design and the lively atmosphere.

5 Star Rating Had an amazing last dinner here with my new brother and sister. Our waiter was an awesome dude from Poland (david?) and food was delicious. Great beer on tap too. Thanks for the chats and service.

5 Star Rating This comfort food is SOOOO tasty! I would recommend 100%, I ordered sandwich + soup, the sandwich was huge, I wish the soup was more generous. On Mondays and Tuesday they have wines half price! And on Monday they have live piano from 6:30 to 8.

5 Star Rating Walked around to get change, refill my Compass card and leave.. this place caught my eye and the music was very calm, staff very welcoming. I’m eating good sushi made by hood people by the water. It’s raining, but I don’t care. I ordered a Cooked Beef Teriyaki roll to stay, and then a Kimchi Tofu Udon because it’s raining. This is the place you walk in and order anything and it’ll be good. They’re budget friendly too, they’ve got things like Shin ramen among others for $6 and for $10, you get a bonus California roll. Sit down facing the window and enjoy the Jazz music and people walking by. Don’t eat in a rush and don’t forget to tip! Enjoy your meal.

5 Star Rating Visited this small shop on Canada Day. It has affordable and delicious sushi! The California Roll was very smooth and the Firecracker roll had a great blend of spice and Umatilla. I will come again and would definitely recommend it to others!

5 Star Rating I got the spicy salmon roll and it was very fresh! The atmosphere was also very nice, perfectly windy and sunny with lovely jazz music playing. Other sushi places around this location charge a bit more than here so I'd say it's worth its buck, especially since this area is very touristy.

5 Star Rating Always greeted with a smile, very welcoming. The chubby sashimi and rice show they’re made with care. My favorite is salmon nigiri. I love dining in after work for a cozy meal with music. The creative rolls are always fun to try, and I love their unique names;) It must be great to enjoy takeout sushi by the ocean! 고맙습니다
