I recently visited Tim Hortons and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and my order was ready quickly. I got a classic double-double and a fresh breakfast sandwich – both were delicious and just what I needed to start my day. The place was clean and had a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for a quick bite or a coffee break. Definitely coming back soon!

I think they’re still figuring out their management because I ordered chilli and before ordering I asked them if they could serve more than one order of chilli, they said there was no problem but unfortunately after 5 minutes one of them told me they can’t serve chilli right now I could get something else. I said no that’s not possible, then they made me wait 20 minutes to prepare two orders. This was quite unfortunate. They could’ve just told me when I asked them, I wouldn’t have wasted so much time here. Not expected from tims.

If you’re looking for a burger that tastes like heaven, you should definitely try this place. We ordered a Monty Mushroom and a Double Double. With one of the burgers we also got fries, which they served with a tasty and unique coleslaw. Our total for two burgers, fries, and two drinks (Coke and Mango No No Mojito) came to $55.88.
Our server’s name, I think, was Katrina, and she was such a positive and energetic person. Hope to see you again:)

This might just be the worst White Spot we dined in. Came in for lunch on a not so busy weekday. Waited half an hour to be seated while there were plenty of tables available. What's even worse was that the hostess seated someone just walked in (also a table for 2) before us. Made the complain, didn't actual receive an apology other than "oh~ I messed up". Waited for another 10mins or so to be seated. Finally ordered, got a dish of fettuccine swimming in soup (not sauce) and sad tasteless kid's burger. Only positive comment would be for our server. He was super friendly.

As a chain I am sure most of people are aware of the menu: Want gluten free burger? You have it!
Would you like a delicious steak? They have it.
The service on this particular location is very good. Even when it was full the service was 100%, no delays, polite employees, great food.

I had a juicy steak and a cold milkshake, both hit the spot. Really enjoyed it.

I’m not from Vancouver and I’m such a fan of this chain. It has the best options and a lot of good ones but not an overwhelming amount. We had a large group and they did a great job accommodating that. The food was 10/10. Service 9/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Speed 10/10. Had a great experience here. Side note: the Spiked Chocolate Espresso Shake drink is amazing, it gives you alcohol, caffeine and it’s cold. It has it all😍

Very standard dim sum experience.
The rolling dim sum carts, decadent steamed buns, crispy fried dumpling with gooey insides, and the tea is quite pleasant. The servers are friendly, homourous, and attentive in making your meal an enjoyable, memorable experience.
Besides that, shrimp siu mai was and steamed rice flour roll w/fried dough were the best I have had in a long time.
The seating area is nice and spacious. Definitely a family meal experience and great for large gatherings.
Portion sizes are huge and I definitely was not expecting that. Was always used to dim sum with smaller servings and a hyper focus on flavour with timely services.

Yan’s Garden is the place to go! The highlight for me was definitely the dim sum cart service — it’s such a fun and nostalgic touch you don’t see as often anymore. Fresh dishes are constantly being wheeled around, and everything we tried was hot, flavorful, and authentic. Favorites were the har gow, siu mai, and crispy shrimp rolls. Service was quick and friendly, and the lively atmosphere made the meal even better. Highly recommend for a true dim sum feast!

We love Yan's garden! We come here all the time for weekend dim sum and they have always been consistent in their food quality and taste. The staff are super friendly and efficient in seating guests in timely manner so the wait isn't too bad despite the long line. We definitely recommend this place!

Food: 4/5. Had the beef congee, wonton noodle and salt and peppery squid. The last two items were prepared with low sodium and were good.
Service: 4/5. Service was fast and efficient.
Atmosphere: 4/5. There were a few TVs with the hockey game on. Could be distracting or entertaining, depending on the content.

A couple of friends and I went to Denny's to catch up with our life's news.
What to order? There are so many yummy things in the menu it is hard to choose.
To starts, I do not drink coffee and everyone does. But I asked for a decaf with 60% hot water and a few milks. That tasted nice! The server was very cooperative with this unusual request
One friend ordered the Bourbon Chicken Sizzilin' Skillet. It looks impressive and I think it also tastes fantastic
Another friend ordered an omelet with hash browns, bacon and a substitute from toast to a pancake.
I had the turkey dinner for 55+
It had mash potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, broccoli, toast and I chose a salad.
There is this particular lady server who seems very familiar with my friends and is extremely nice and friendly.
I love her. She is kind, caring, friendly, smiles with a big natural smile, no fake smiles or forced, she also makes sure we are well looked after, she makes you feel like a valued customer.
I asked her permission to take a photo and put it in my review.
I will definitely go back next time I meet friends in Coquitlam.

Family brunch on a Friday morning!
📸 :
-grand slam breakfast
-Phillysteak omelette
-braised beef with potato and mushroom
-55+ senior SCRAMBLED EGGS & CHEDDAR BREAKFAST. It’s like a lumberjack but smaller?
-berry waffle slam, my fave!
We enjoyed all our food, great for sharing as well as their quite bigger portions and the dish were well presented.
The 55+ appreciation menu was kind of cute! Dont forget to show your ID’s folks 🤭

I went here on my birthday and was provided a free $14 dollar credit for my grand slam breaky. It was an easy drive and parking lot easily entered off of Austin ave. I really like the atmosphere here and will be back again. There’s an electronic menu at every table that also serves as a wireless charging point for your phone! My server was Rick and he was awesome .

I had a fantastic experience at Denny’s! Rick went above and beyond in helping me choose the best brunch—he was genuinely helpful and caring, making the dining experience even better. The service was outstanding!
I also loved the extra mug with my Oreo milkshake—it was a perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth like me. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I went for a sushi date night at sushi California, it was really busy but they had plenty of staff and handled the rush very well. Our food came quite quickly! The sushi was delicious and fresh, the staff were so kind and attentive. For all you sushi lovers, this place is 100% a must try!

When my friends said “Creamy tiger shrimp pasta at Sushi California tastes great”, I doubt it. Who order pasta at Sushi restaurant? I did and it was delicious 🤤
And their Sake Don never disappoints me.
Always serves thick and fresh salmon sashimi. I can’t order Sake Don at other sushi restaurants because I know Sushi California has the best☺️
Prices are very reasonable as well!
Parking is hard to find at the spot. I recommend to park nearby the restaurant.

Sushi California has been my go-to for years but lately their quality has been going downhill. The last time I ordered takeout, the scalloped roll was tasteless, the rolls were poorly wrapped and came apart when you tried to take a bite and the salmon nigiri was horribly cut and way less the normal portion. Very disappointing and not worth the money when there are other great sushi places around.

I had a great time at this A&W. The Masala Veggie Burger was really tasty and full of flavor. The onion rings were hot, crispy, and super yummy. The staff were very nice. As a frequent customer, I appreciate the food and service here very much. Comparing to other stores, this A&W can always maintain good quality of food, freshly made and hot. Besides, Aman, the girl working in the cashier, is so nice with friendly smile. She remembers her customers and always provides exceptional service. Highly appreciated!

I tend to approach hotel restaurants with caution since, in my experience, they usually fall into one of three categories: great for brunch, painfully mediocre because they cater mostly to breakfast, room service, and one-time hotel guests, or top-tier establishments with price tags to match. But we wanted live music, and Wild Fig was the closest option. Since they are clearly aiming for an above-average dining experience, I’ll be a bit critical because attention to detail was definitely lacking.
The good: service was solid, Korean cauliflower was fantastic—flavorful with just the right texture, not a mushy mess (which is harder to achieve than people think). Ossobuco was decent, and oysters were very fairly priced. The not-so-good: while the sablefish itself was nice, they topped it with an already blackened avocado and a careless handful of cilantro stems, which just screamed sloppy execution. I’m struggling to picture the moment when someone in the kitchen saw that and thought, "Yep, send it out." The mignonette, which is just vinegar and shallots, somehow managed to be unimpressive. The berry crumble was an unstructured mess. And the live music—the whole reason we came—never happened, despite being confirmed.
It wasn’t a disaster, and the food wasn’t bad, but it was a subpar experience for a place trying to be more than just another hotel restaurant. That said, I’ll give it another shot—happy hour oyster prices are hard to ignore, and that cauliflower is calling me back. But I suspect that’s about as far as my expectations will go with this place.

Wow, nicely surprised with The Wild Fig! Free parkade with direct access to the restaurant meant I didn’t get wet in the rain. They have the best Happy Hour menu I’ve seen in a long time. Calamari appetizer was good, I loved my sable fish entree, and hubby said his Thai prawns were good. We’ll definitely be back.

Being a franchise i expect pleasent service and usually good pizza but this location went above and beyond, I noticed there was fresh slices constantly being made and everything looked fresh. They recognized regulars and knew their orders, they gave my daughter a baloon and talked with her directly . Overall way more personalized service than what I expect from a freshslice. And the pizza was unusually good

To start with the atmosphere here is definitely upbeat and young. If you are not looking to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers, this isn’t the place for you.
Food is worth the pricing. It’s a little pricier than most places but does have good quality. Not over salted or anything like that. The drinks however are overpriced and they don’t look anything like the pictures shown on their menu. They look like they have been rushed together. They taste okay, but still overpriced for what they are.
Service is where they need some help. They all look great and friendly, but to get their attention to order or pay can be a big task. There are plenty of staff around, but none seem to be organized. We had 5 different servers at our table which is ridiculous. They even ask you to slow down when taking orders because it takes them an astronomical amount of time to just click a few buttons on a screen.
Overall I think if they had some training and organization of staff, this could be a great place, but right now giving it 3 stars is being generous due to the service.

Nice place great atmosphere, lots for menu items. Deserts and drinks looked very good. We went for brunch. We got the basil and pistachio bliss rigatoni pasta dish, which was really good. Fresh and creamy we were pleasantly surprised. I also got the teriyaki beef Egg bomb sandwich talked with egg. It was huge had to tip it over and tear it apart to eat it which was a lot of fun. Overall had a good time.

We discovered this restaurant from a social media influencer and decided to give it a try.
The interior of this place is aesthetically pleasing. It looks clean and sleek.
The service is okay, the staff were nice but can do much better on getting ready and setting the tables for the next guests faster. There's a waitlist when we went for brunch and a lot tables are empty but uncleaned so the wait was longer.
As for the food, the coffee is great but the brunch was flavorless and overpriced.
The fried chicken benny barely had hollandaise sauce. The only saving grace was the egg yolk. The potatoes are bland and flavorless. The sour dressing of the salad didn't pair well with the flavorless meal.
The avocado sandwich served in a very pretty way but it made it so hard to consume.
Again, it lacked flavor. The eggs were fluffy but taste like ordinary scrambled eggs.
The croufle was good. This is the only item I liked.
We paid over $80.00 and left unsatisfied.
I might give it another chance but will probably order coffee and croufle next time.

We came to EGGBOMB+ for a late brunch across from The City of Lougheed Shopping Centre and had an amazing experience. First of all—they accept reservations, which is a huge plus since this place is getting a lot of buzz. We had high expectations, and they fulfilled our expectations.
The interior is modern, bright, and super clean, creating a welcoming space for a chill brunch date or a casual hangout with friends.
We tried a few of their signature items and were super impressed:
• Teriyaki Beef Sandwich – Massive portion and so good. The egg yolk on top and tender beef – this is a must-try!!!
• Bacon Crodise – Crispy croffle topped with crunchy bacon and a perfectly poached egg. Pure perfection!
• Truffle Pasta – Creamy, rich, and comforting. Portion size was generous.
• Volcaffles with Ice Cream – Dessert is non-negotiable for us. The warm waffles and ice cream were the ultimate finish to our brunch.
• Pistachio Latte – Nutty, smooth, and not too sweet. The flavour was so unique. Loved it.
• Fresh Mango Latte – Super refreshing and fruity.
We've been to many brunch spots around Metro Vancouver, but EGGBOMB+ surprised us in the best way. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors in every dish were bold and well-balanced. It really feels like premium brunch without the premium price tag.
✨EGGBOMB+ is officially on our top brunch list.✨ We will be back for more!

Beef crodise: my favorite dish! It combined bulgogi, croffle and eggs Benedict!
Tiramisu croffle: The portion size was impressively large for the price — definitely great value! However, I was a bit disappointed with the topping. It came with whipped cream and hot chocolate powder, which made it taste more like a chocolate dessert than a tiramisu. I was expecting something closer to a classic tiramisu flavor, maybe with mascarpone or cream cheese. To better match the taste, I think it would be more accurate to call it a chocolate croffle instead. Might be better to try the tiramisu at On & Off or cafe Hastag
Pistachio latte: The flavour is unique and I really like the pistachios on the rim of the cup!
Choco montblanc: very nice! I really like it
Mania: it’s alright, not my favourite.
