We had a fantastic dining experience at White Spot North Road! We ordered three Mushroom Burgers and a Pasta dish, and everything was delicious. We opted for different sides—two types of salads and fries—which we shared, and it worked out perfectly. A special shoutout to our server, Vanessa. She was incredibly friendly and gave us some excellent recommendations that made our meal even better. Also, the cocktails were refreshing and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this location

Food and cocktails were great, but the atmosphere felt very old-fashioned and the prices were quite high. I had one cocktail and a mushroom burger, and with tax it came to $45.

If you’re looking for a burger that tastes like heaven, you should definitely try this place. We ordered a Monty Mushroom and a Double Double. With one of the burgers we also got fries, which they served with a tasty and unique coleslaw. Our total for two burgers, fries, and two drinks (Coke and Mango No No Mojito) came to $55.88. Our server’s name, I think, was Katrina, and she was such a positive and energetic person. Hope to see you again:) ———————————————————— I came back here with my friends😍🤩! This time, I ordered the pasta and a colorful, delicious drink called “Twisted Bellini.” They were soooo good 🫠 definitely my new go to order 🤩 You should definitely try them!

To keep it short, i was pleasantly surprised by this solid dim sum place tucked away in burtquitlum. Traditional, light taste and on the less greasy side - all rarities when it comes to dim sum. They still push carts here - something that is all but extinct in the world of dim sum luncheons. In terms of taste, it isn't the best but a good solid 4 star effort for what they charge - which is on the very reasonable side. To be perfect 5 star in taste and value, the competition is fierce. Will for sure repeat.

I was excited to try a new local Chinese restaurant and was left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the “Dinner for 1A” combination which includes sweet & sour boneless pork, beef with broccoli, and chicken chow mein. The cost of this combination is $20.50 before tax. I was really shocked to see how little pork and beef I received for a meal which cost over a little over $20. I recently dined at a different Chinese restaurant in West Vancouver which was a 10/10 experience in service and food quality when compared to Yan’s Garden. I understand that times may be tough, but this sort of rationing is a little unreal. The service was not any better. Overall, a really poor and regrettable experience.

Dim sum here was fantastic! This place gets packed for a reason. I love that they have the carts which roam around so you can see the items and try new things. The fried squid and spare ribs were some of the best I've tried! Update: came back to try dinner. Everything was so good, this place has quickly become my favorite place for Chinese. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was much greasier than I expected. If you’re looking for indulgent, fast-food-style comfort food, this place might be for you, but it wasn’t quite my preference. On the positive side, our server, Minoo, was excellent. She was patient, respectful, and attentive throughout our visit, and her great service made the experience much better.

We went to Denny’s for a Sunday breakfast to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was amazing, and the service we received was excellent. Rick was very kind and attentive, offering menu suggestions and consistently checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals. We will definitely come back soon!

Danny’s is a very chill and family friendly place. The couple times we went there, the experience always very pleasant and food is very good. Sunday lunch hour can be very busy, but our server Rick tried his best to be attentive and help with any of our requests. T-bone steak is very seasoned and cooked tender.

This was our first time here, the burgers were the best dish we had, it was really juicy and delicious. I didn't like the brown rice, and my expectation for the turkey was more, it was not flavored. The crepe was also really good too.

We meet here regularly with friends early in the morning, and it has become one of our favorite spots. Rick, the stylish and friendly server, always remembers us and welcomes us with such a warm attitude—it truly makes a difference. The breakfasts are generous and satisfying, and the endless refills of coffee and tea are absolutely fantastic. Great food, great service, and a place that feels genuinely welcoming every time we visit. Highly recommended for a relaxed morning gathering.

I had a really great experience at Sushi California in Coquitlam! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean, comfortable, and nicely designed with a cozy modern Japanese vibe, making it a great place for both casual dining and gatherings with friends or family. The service was excellent throughout the entire meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff were still very friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food came out quickly, and everything was beautifully presented. We ordered a variety of sushi, tempura, and miso soup, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The salmon was buttery and smooth, the shrimp and octopus were fresh with great texture, and the sushi portions were generous. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The tempura was also one of my favorite dishes — perfectly crispy, light, and not greasy at all. The vegetables and shrimp still tasted sweet and fresh inside the batter. The miso soup was flavorful and comforting without being overly salty. What impressed me most was how they balanced quality, portion size, price, and service so well. It’s hard to find a place that does all of these consistently. No wonder this place is always busy! Overall, this is definitely a restaurant I would come back to again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh sushi and authentic Japanese food!

I had a surprisingly great experience here during a late dinner with a friend. The vibe was welcoming, and while the menu leans toward the "Vancouver-style" Japanese joints often run by Koreans, the quality of execution was up there - above the local average. If you're looking to optimize the bill, the Chirashi is filling enough on its own to skip the side tempura.

After waiting for 40 min for two orders that are supoised to be 15 min I get a sushi with no tuna and just a little salmón. A team that you can see is working back to back and can no longer smile or advise of a delay. Very disapoiting since my goal was to have a great QUALITY Sunday with japaneese food not from The supermarket.

If you are looking for good food and service at a reasonable price, this is worth it. I’m usually not generous with my stars. For what you receive this is a good place; we have never been disappointed going to the Wild Fig. We live on the island so this is a real treat when we head to the Cariboo. The food was delicious and the service was excellent for dinner and breakfast; their coffee was enjoyable. They have a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price especially if you’re hungry. It is in the Executive Plaza Hotel, which was a bonus as we like staying there; good hotel. We look forward to going back, highly recommended.

We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at The Wild Fig Restaurant and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the planning stage to the actual event, everything was handled so smoothly. A special thank you to Claudia for her support and coordination and to Habib who made sure everything on the day of the event ran perfectly. We really appreciated how accommodating and attentive the team was. Our servers, Sarah and her partner were also amazing! They were so kind, attentive and always making sure our guests were taken care of. Their service really made a difference throughout the evening. The setup was beautiful, the food was excellent, and we didn’t have to worry about anything at all. They even accommodated us until 10 PM which made the celebration even more relaxed and enjoyable. One of the most special moments for us was when the live band sang Happy Birthday to him and even played his favorite song, “I Just Might.” It made the celebration feel so personal and truly unforgettable. Thank you for making our son’s first birthday so special and memorable for our family and friends. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend this venue for any special occasion!

Happy hour oysters were $1.70 each and tasted fresh and full, though a few had bits of shell so you need to eat them carefully. We also ordered fries, wings, and fish tacos, but the portions felt way too small even for happy hour, and the taste was just okay. I don’t think I’d go back unless the portion sizes improve.i don’t mind going back for oysters and beer😊

Great happy hour experience with the lovely lady Gaga serving us with some most impressive apps with a surprisingly affordable bill even with a couple of boozy drinks alongside. Short ribs were meaty as were the sliders and the baja tacos were crispy and comparable to the ones I recently had in Puerto Vallarta. Even loved the cauliflower fries topped with a delicious tangy sauce. Booth setting made sitting beside my wife a pleasure in a causally classy atmosphere with plenty of screens to watch the Olympics. Not your typical average hotel bar, this place served it up proper. Thanks Gaga and team! Appreciate the prompt and warm service with smiles!

Ok, first of all I want to explain the 4 out of 5 stars I have give this establishment. It's a pizza joint, in the mall, with quality of service one would expect to receive from a mall location fast food/pizza joint. So therefore the I reserve the 5th star for the one of a kind, higher end, some would say "High end" restaurant's. I kinda wish I could modify the star count "_out of 5 or "_ out of 4" based on the place under review. Anyways, yes 4 stars is an excellent rating for this Fresh Slice pizza. Service was friendly and professional, Cleanliness and hygiene of the store and it's staff good, in fact better than most businesses in this category (fast food/made-to-eat/on-the-go restaurant chains), I'd recommend it to anyone who is in "the mood" or Just wants something quick to order/hot and ready. There's a menu option for everyone, vegetarian, vegan, halal, etc. it's a fairly priced choice and on average $10-$12.00 l/ person for walking/pick-up orders and $12-$16.00/per person. Open from lunch, dinner, and late night. Location is in the Lougheed town centre mall which offers a kid/family friendly location with lots of free parking space, washroom facilities and on-site security and maintenance and well as customer service. Located literally a B for throw from Lougheed SkyTrain station, which is a major transfer pointhe t on the TransLink public transit network, with a large selection of bus routes, bike trails there's so mujch to see, visit, explore whether you are a first time visitor/tourist to the area or just enjoying the day with friends and family and want to take a easy day off. Lougheed mall is located literally on the border of Burnaby/Coquitlam and the trip cities. There's a ton of shops and services in the area so please put this area on the to-do/to go-see list: FRESH SLICE IS LOCATED UPSTAIRS IN THE FOOD COURT INSIDE LOUGHEED MALL***

If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch spot, this is it. The selection of food and drinks is impressive, and I love that the menu includes pictures so you know exactly what you're getting. The Bennies and sandwiches are standout items and so delicious and beautifully presented. Inside, the vibe is super modern, clean, and cute. We came in late in the afternoon on a Saturday, around 3pm. It was not busy at all, maybe because of the World Cup games. It’s a nice spacious place with great seating areas, 2 big tvs, and a bright room. Food was just ok, quite pricey, and not big portions. Service was decent. The menu is different after 4pm, I’d like to try that next time.

Transit friendly spot by Lougheed Mall , beside the Pricesmart. Location is very bright and vibrant, and cleanliness was well maintained. Caramel Macchiato was prepared nicely, however was way too sweet for my liking, should have gotten half sweet - additionally the coffee taste was super mild and light - so was more of a treat than a coffee for sure. Beef egg bomb+ was pretty good, no right or wrong way to eat it, it will be a mess one way or another - the runny egg was so delicious - however, the bread did have some pretty hard bits. Smoked Salmon benny - was melt in you mouth savoury goodness - Price point seems pretty fair for brunch, will definitely re-visit to explore the menu further in the future.

My second time at this chain, but first time at this location, which is much bigger than the Langley location. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday with brunch, and the food was really good! They have a very extensive menu encompassing both sweet and savoury options. We had the egg sandos that they are famous for. The eggs are silky, very fluffy, and the yogurt sauce adds a nice tang, alongside the lovely soft Korean Milk Bread. For my friend's birthday, they brought us a croffle and it was served by robot. 😂 Really great experience overall.

This place can be a little hard to find, but it’s near the corner of Austin and North, on the second floor by TD bank. After you find it, you’re greeted by a cool and modern Korean BBQ shop. The staff and the owner here are all so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The owner in particular will come by to most tables and chat with the guests - which is a nice touch. It’s always nice to see people who care about their work and don’t just treat things as a job. The side dishes are refillable, which is really nice. Their beef is so beautiful, and most of it isn’t pre-seasoned, which is nice for those who want to season it themselves. Overall, very solid Korean BBQ spot, with decent pricing. Large space for multiple size tables and groups. Get a reservation as they do get busy!

The staff and owner were incredibly kind and sweet, and the overall vibe was great. The owner even put on a fire show for us, which I didn’t get a chance to photograph. We loved all the side dishes, and the staff, especially the owner, consistently checked in on us and offered refills. The food was good, and the owner made our first experience at the restaurant very pleasant and positive. He’s such a funny and outgoing person. We purposely went around 3:45 pm on a Saturday to avoid waiting for a table, and we were seated right away. I would definitely go back!

Great atmosphere and good value for the price. For two people, being able to try three different types of meat along with two kinds of soup and a variety of side dishes was a great experience. The kimchi, bean sprouts, and garlic in sesame oil really brought back memories of Korea and made the meal feel authentic. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely come back.

2nd time visiting! We went for dinner this time and still had an amazing experience. A bit more expensive compared to other Korean restos that we’ve been to, but we don’t mind. The servers and the owner were really nice! They cook for you so you just sit and relax. Obsessed with the pink radish! The meat is fresh and tasty! Love the fire show towards the end. Will definitely come back again.
