This might just be the worst White Spot we dined in. Came in for lunch on a not so busy weekday. Waited half an hour to be seated while there were plenty of tables available. What's even worse was that the hostess seated someone just walked in (also a table for 2) before us. Made the complain, didn't actual receive an apology other than "oh~ I messed up". Waited for another 10mins or so to be seated. Finally ordered, got a dish of fettuccine swimming in soup (not sauce) and sad tasteless kid's burger. Only positive comment would be for our server. He was super friendly.

Beside Kingsway and Market Crossing location, this is the location I went the most ..
Service was great in the past from other servers like Gail but today was a new low for me
I went today by myself around 4:30 which was not busy at all. Male sever I had ..well I can only said that he had no facial expression nor anything else.
He took my order, served my food and throe a dessert menu on my table and when he walked by later and didn’t say anything.
While I’m the only single customer at his area and only Asian (I think), he’s all chatty and talkative with laughs with every table except me?
That leaves a bad feeling for me as I’m always being polite etc.
when u got ignored purposely u can feel it

I’m not from Vancouver and I’m such a fan of this chain. It has the best options and a lot of good ones but not an overwhelming amount. We had a large group and they did a great job accommodating that. The food was 10/10. Service 9/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Speed 10/10. Had a great experience here. Side note: the Spiked Chocolate Espresso Shake drink is amazing, it gives you alcohol, caffeine and it’s cold. It has it all😍

White spot on North Road in Burnaby is a fun stop when I can. I do love the Monty Mushroom burger. This location has in car service, bar and I found out a test menu sometimes.

Yan’s Garden is the place to go! The highlight for me was definitely the dim sum cart service — it’s such a fun and nostalgic touch you don’t see as often anymore. Fresh dishes are constantly being wheeled around, and everything we tried was hot, flavorful, and authentic. Favorites were the har gow, siu mai, and crispy shrimp rolls. Service was quick and friendly, and the lively atmosphere made the meal even better. Highly recommend for a true dim sum feast!

Food: 4/5. Had the beef congee, wonton noodle and salt and peppery squid. The last two items were prepared with low sodium and were good.
Service: 4/5. Service was fast and efficient.
Atmosphere: 4/5. There were a few TVs with the hockey game on. Could be distracting or entertaining, depending on the content.

We love Yan's garden! We come here all the time for weekend dim sum and they have always been consistent in their food quality and taste. The staff are super friendly and efficient in seating guests in timely manner so the wait isn't too bad despite the long line. We definitely recommend this place!

This restuarant is different from other dim sum places, the servers go around with carts loaded with dim sum or freshly cooked dishes- but be careful. Usually they will tell you if it is fresh from the wok/steamer, otherwise ask them because i've seen two carts sit there for a straight hour from when I sat down till I left. Be sure to get the items on their special menu, Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Those items have great value.

This place is the best and Virginia and staff make it even better. If you like crab and you like beans, this is the place to go. Then you afterward you sing karaoke while drinking way to much wine. You will like this place even more.

Family brunch on a Friday morning!
📸 :
-grand slam breakfast
-Phillysteak omelette
-braised beef with potato and mushroom
-55+ senior SCRAMBLED EGGS & CHEDDAR BREAKFAST. It’s like a lumberjack but smaller?
-berry waffle slam, my fave!
We enjoyed all our food, great for sharing as well as their quite bigger portions and the dish were well presented.
The 55+ appreciation menu was kind of cute! Dont forget to show your ID’s folks 🤭

I had a fantastic experience at Denny’s! Rick went above and beyond in helping me choose the best brunch—he was genuinely helpful and caring, making the dining experience even better. The service was outstanding!
I also loved the extra mug with my Oreo milkshake—it was a perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth like me. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went here on my birthday and was provided a free $14 dollar credit for my grand slam breaky. It was an easy drive and parking lot easily entered off of Austin ave. I really like the atmosphere here and will be back again. There’s an electronic menu at every table that also serves as a wireless charging point for your phone! My server was Rick and he was awesome .

We came here with a large group on a busy Sunday morning during a long weekend. The entire staff was extremely patient and were visibly working hard throughout the day. They were polite and accommodating with our large group and did what they could to keep us comfortable. Donna was our server and was attentive and thoughtful during our meal. Thank you for the pleasant service! Donna and your coworkers hard work didn’t go unnoticed!

I went on a breakfast date with my mom and we both ordered french toast slams. We got the original and berry filled ones with the side of hashbrows and mozzarella sticks. Everything was SPOT ON. Denny’s is our favourite place for breakfast dates and they never disappoint. Our server Eddy was very kind and service was very fast. We would definitely recommend Denny’s!

The food is consistently great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly. We truly enjoy dining here and will keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Update :. Thanks to Julia and the owner....wow. Words can't express how I felt so blessed by this location. They really go above and beyond to ensure top notch quality and service!!! The only issue I have is I live kind of far away. I wish I lived closer lol.
Sushi California takeout and as always..very good and consistent w all their locations. One of my favourite is the Korean chirasi don...definitely give it a try especially if like bimbimbop.

Pretty decent, I come here often. Easy spot for fresh sushi in my neighborhood. I also really like their selection of veggies they use for tempura, like broccoli and asparagus which aren't usually common. Sashimi pieces are a bit larger than other places.
Brittney Yoo - 4 months ago
Food was very good, big pieces of sashimi compared to other places. When I asked for extra ginger they brought a big plate for me. (It did seem like the soy sauce was watered down which seems odd) I would go back for sure though. Lots of different rolls I would like to try. Parking was a bit crazy, small lot not a lot of spaces for all the businesses there so I parked up the street at the 4 hour in front of Vancity. Service was good with kind attentive staff.

I had a great time at this A&W. The Masala Veggie Burger was really tasty and full of flavor. The onion rings were hot, crispy, and super yummy. The staff were very nice. Tisha was especially kind and welcomed me with a smiling face. She made the visit feel warm and friendly. I will definitely come back again!

As a frequent customer, I appreciate the food and service here very much. Comparing to other stores, this A&W can always maintain good quality of food, freshly made and hot. Besides, Aman, the girl working in the cashier, is so nice with friendly smile. She remembers her customers and always provides exceptional service. Highly appreciated!

I tend to approach hotel restaurants with caution since, in my experience, they usually fall into one of three categories: great for brunch, painfully mediocre because they cater mostly to breakfast, room service, and one-time hotel guests, or top-tier establishments with price tags to match. But we wanted live music, and Wild Fig was the closest option. Since they are clearly aiming for an above-average dining experience, I’ll be a bit critical because attention to detail was definitely lacking.
The good: service was solid, Korean cauliflower was fantastic—flavorful with just the right texture, not a mushy mess (which is harder to achieve than people think). Ossobuco was decent, and oysters were very fairly priced. The not-so-good: while the sablefish itself was nice, they topped it with an already blackened avocado and a careless handful of cilantro stems, which just screamed sloppy execution. I’m struggling to picture the moment when someone in the kitchen saw that and thought, "Yep, send it out." The mignonette, which is just vinegar and shallots, somehow managed to be unimpressive. The berry crumble was an unstructured mess. And the live music—the whole reason we came—never happened, despite being confirmed.
It wasn’t a disaster, and the food wasn’t bad, but it was a subpar experience for a place trying to be more than just another hotel restaurant. That said, I’ll give it another shot—happy hour oyster prices are hard to ignore, and that cauliflower is calling me back. But I suspect that’s about as far as my expectations will go with this place.

Food was great. We were happy with the service. Ray our server was very attentive. Always smiling, looks happy attending to all his customers. Also the band, was awesome. Billy and his guitarist were perfect for my date night with my husband.

We went last Saturday as part of dine out Vancouver and we were party of seven . Atmosphere was great , seating, life entertainment and friendly staff. We dance a lot on the stage on front of the band and we enjoyed comfortable times. The three course meals options were great, but orders were a little late , may be related to staffing but it was okay. Food itself was great. We enjoyed band and dancing but the sound was a little loud .
We like the place and sure we will be back.

Wow, nicely surprised with The Wild Fig! Free parkade with direct access to the restaurant meant I didn’t get wet in the rain. They have the best Happy Hour menu I’ve seen in a long time. Calamari appetizer was good, I loved my sable fish entree, and hubby said his Thai prawns were good. We’ll definitely be back.

Being a franchise i expect pleasent service and usually good pizza but this location went above and beyond, I noticed there was fresh slices constantly being made and everything looked fresh. They recognized regulars and knew their orders, they gave my daughter a baloon and talked with her directly . Overall way more personalized service than what I expect from a freshslice. And the pizza was unusually good

Promptly greeted with a smile :) I asked what was the best deal. We got the medium pizza with unlimited toppings for $13. Got half of what my son wanted and half what my daughter wanted. Came out fast and fresh 👌🏽 Great pizza, great customer service and the kids loved it.

I have been in the restaurant industry for decades so I'm rarely impressed by much anymore, I'd rather eat at home but luckily we were in town for a hockey tournament and felt like brunch and Google searches what was close to us.
Eggbomb is the most unique spot with one of the best menus I've seen ever. Such a fun, special unique experience, so many interesting items to try. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for making dining out interesting again:)

Just stopped by this place for the second time and I would come again. The food is amazing, the pasta has so much flavor with every bite. There’s a lot of variety of drinks. Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks (good price too). Portions sizes are really good and customer services is really good. Everything on the menu is reasonable price as well.
Highly recommend the dark choco matcha latte, and fruity aide drink. Also highly recommend the dumplings, crispy potato rings, Mr truffle pasta and rosy chicks pasta.

I walk by this restaurant with my dog most days of the week as we live in the area and I always wanted to try the food here - the restaurant aesthetics themselves were very Modern and sleek with cute lighting so I was already sold without having tasted any of their food lol
My boyfriend and I got seated immediately as we went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty - we wanted to try several dishes so we got the cheesy sticks, smoked salmon salad, secret butter chicken (ended up being like a pot pie), some kind of beef and rice dish, a strawberry drink, and pistachio cake+ice cream for dessert.
First off, the portions are huge so we ended up being in food comas afterwards. My favorite dish was the secret butter chicken as it had amazing flavour and was super delicious . The drink was very pretty and took me forever to decide on as their drink menu is very extensive and filled with so many cute options to choose from - I do wish the strawberry flavour was more prominent though.
Overall, we ordered way too much food for 2 people but got to try a great variety of dishes. We will plan to come back to try out their brunch menu once we’ve fully recovered from being food comatose lol

We accidentally walked past this restaurant, and it looked interesting, so we decided to give it a try—and it was worth it. The vibes were good, and the food was great, except the croffle was a bit hard to cut. You have to scan a QR code to see the menu and order, but only one device can be used to order per table. It was busy, and we waited at least 20 minutes for our food. We definitely want to go back and try other things too.
inky Lalita - a month ago
This is a nice, modern restaurant. Has a trendy busy vibe. The food was good. They ask you to scan a QR code to order and you have to place your order with your smart phone. Something to keep in mind when you go there. There were 2 senior ladies who had difficulty with ordering but figured it out behind us. Service was good. One main improvement I'd suggest is that they check their washrooms at least every 30/ 45 min. Beautiful restroom design but the garbages were over flowing, one bathroom had no toilet paper, and overall the floors and sinks looked dirty. I'd go again for the food but hope they improve with the cleanliness of their restrooms.

I had the butter chicken wrap today. As mall food, it's good which I am surprised! The taste of the food caters to Canadian taste palates only. Now, if you're looking for authentic Indian food, this isn't the place.

Food tastes great, especially as a mall food option...but ordered the 2 items (which after tax comes to $15-16~) and they literally give you one pakora if you order the kadhi pakora. I got maybe 3 small pieces of chicken in the vindaloo and the rest was potato. So...not filling.
