I ordered coffee and breakfast from this Tim Hortons before going to college, and everything was perfect today. I also ordered a brownsugar iced latte, and it was exactly right not too sweet, not too strong it was made and served by Navneet kaur. Also All the staff is perfect have smile on the face every time I come and serve with joy. The taste was perfect and well balanced. Everything was made just the way I like it. I really love this store and the consistency. Highly recommended 👍

This branch of Tim Hortons never disappoints when it comes to coffee—smooth and consistently comforting. What truly made my visit special, though, was the exceptional service from Sunaina. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, and served with a genuine smile that instantly brightened my day.

Love ❤️ this A & W location at Pacific central Station terminal . The atmosphere is travel vibe and in this beautiful historic building . Lots of places to sit . The staff are friendly and good service. Lots of verity including vegetarian . The washrooms are located at front of the building entrance . I posted the list of hours here in a picture they close early here compared to other locations stay open late . This restaurant does have customer wifi and plugs to charge your electronics .

I just want to give a big shoutout to the amazing staff at the A&W inside Pacific Central Station! Every time I stop by, they’re always friendly, welcoming, and working so hard to serve everyone quickly — even when it’s super busy with travelers coming and going.
The place is always clean, the food comes out fresh and hot, and the service is consistently fast and polite. You can tell the team really cares about doing a great job and making sure customers leave happy.
Thank you to all the staff here for your hard work and great attitude — it really makes a difference and brightens up the station! Keep it up!

Good fresh burgers...still delicious after a 10 min drive. Friendly staff and very quick. Onion rings were nice and crispy. Poutine had lots of cheese curds and gravy!! Store was very clean and nicely appointed. Lots of seating and natural light. A good place for anyone to grab a quick bite.

The donair fingers pita wrap I got was really decent for the price, the meat was juicy and had good seasoning. Aside from the fact there my order was messed up, service was quick and friendly.
Their food is quite affordable compared to most other places dining out, but that comes with the quality you're getting as well.
Overall 4/5, would grab again.
Cold Otter - 4 months ago
A great late-night option for wraps and platters, my personal preference.
Chicken/Lamb/Beef platters are $18.49 each, and my portion was happily hefty when I picked it up in person versus ordering via DoorDash/Uber Eats. It comes with Greek salad, 2x domaldes, 2 potatoes, rice, and a heap of meat that gets covered in 2 sauces of your choice.
I also ordered a side tabbouleh that I wish was more dominant with parsley, but it’s still decent, and quite filling with the extra quinoa.
The location was super clean, and the customer service was sincerely warm and friendly. Not sure what’s with all the negative reviews, but in my opinion, if you enter with a smile, you’ll get served with smiles in return.
Thanks for feeding me!

We had an amazing experience thanks to Tejbir and Navjot! They were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The wraps they made were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service was excellent from start to finish. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back and hope to be served by them again:)

Food was excellent. The gentleman that helped us was extremely nice and helpful. Not a large area to sit and eat but super convenient if you are getting on/off the train.

This place is an incredible gem within the Via Rail Pacific Central station. Some of the best quality sushi you can find in Vancouver, done by incredibly nice people!
Jean-Michel Lajoie - 4 months ago
First off I'd like to say that I am a man of all cuisines but Japanese food has a special place in my heart! I was driving westbound on Terminal Ave approaching Main St. when the snarled traffic diverted me onto Station St.The words 'Sushi' and the hard to see open neon sign caught my attention like a squirrel to a dog.
So I did it! I went right after work at 445pm and slithered my way through the Train terminal as Ekki Sushi was located inside Pacific Central station. The station itself was bare, and there were signs directing you to the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the right side of the station, a bit hidden so there were a few signs pointing to the little shop.
There's a table partition at the entrance of the restaurant with menus and a bottle of hand sanitizer. The chef comes out and takes my order, he's a nice young gentleman. I ordered Salmon Poke and a California roll and he said 15 minutes. I head out to my car and wait. Come 5pm I try going back into the station *tug & yank* hmm seems like the doors are locked (presumably for safety purposes), and a printed sign says 'please dial xxx' to open the door, and so I do! Phew, thought I had been late to pickup my order and the station locked me out!
So I head in following my nose and sitting at the partition was my food ready and waiting. I thank the chef and I head out for another 'trunk meal'. Unbeknownst to me the chef snuck in a bowl of miso soup *thank you very much*
I quickly open my food and was amazed at the detail and attention to my poke...then how my California rolls were so perfectly shaped and proportionately made. I ate it all and washed it down with the soup, PERIOD!
The poke bowl was at the perfect temperature with all the 'new school' toppings without going over board. The fish was soft and a bit chewy texture, salmon. The California roll was tasty as it's well proportioned (none of those gargantuan Cali rolls *I'm looking at you Samurai Sushi*). Overall, this place is a true hidden gem. At first I thought the prices I saw online was what I'll be paying, but upon comparison the menu I saw was larger and contained more options.
TLDR; poke bowl was delicious. California roll was delicious. Washed down with miso soup, too was delisioso! Will return.

Nothing special about the portions or the flavors. Price was only acceptable due to the 32% off discount on Fantuan. We pre-ordered for 5:00 - 5:30pm delivery. The restaurant started preparing the food around 3:30/3:45pm. Our food was ready for delivery around 4:00pm. Unfortunately, because our food was not scheduled for delivery until 5pm, so, our food just sat there for at least an hour before it was picked up by our delivery person. Delivery took another 30 minutes or so. So, by the time we got our food, the hot food was cold, cold food was room temperature. Most unsettling was that they packed one of our sushi with the hot udon and the sushi was warm. From a food safe point of view. I would not order from this restaurant again. Two stars only because we didn’t actually get food poisoned.
Edit: delivery app followed up and said the restaurant might not have known when the delivery period was and started the order too early due to a system error. With this clarification I will give them benefit of doubt and revise to 3 stars.

Absolutely fabulous! We ordered two veggie Bento boxes and a side of edamame everything was great! Some of the best Japanese food I've ever had and such a surprise in the Amtrack station would definitely consider booking another train ride just to eat there!

First time back here since the name change and it was great! I am a fan of the dark oak woodwork and different seating options. The server was really friendly and helpful when we asked about the menu and drink items. The cheese pull from the French onion soup was easily over a foot long 😋 The fish tacos were very tasty with the coating on the fish being nice and crunchy and the pickled onions had the right mix of flavor. The chicken and corn tacos had a great sauce and the cabbage slaw added a great texture and flavor. The baby yorkies were soo good....I really liked how minty the mimosa was and the lime margarita was tasty as well.

One of the best Irish Pubs I have tried. Food was very delicious and portions were large. Very nice interior and live music on Saturday night. Staff was very friendly, attentive and provided good recommendations for veggie options. I would definitely recommend this Irish Pub.

I know what everyone is thinking... Another Irish bar, right?
Trust me, this place is still brand new, and not as busy yet, but this bar is going places!! Some of the best service I've had in ages, and the food menu is insane!! Had their wings to start... Filling and tasty, and like $10 on Mondays! I then had the steak and mushroom stew... Sooo tasty, and really filling! Lots of stuff to do here coming up (karaoke Thursdays, for example). Drinks are reasonably priced as well.
The only downside is that it's still brand new, and not that busy, but I'm quite sure that will change in short order!
I'll definitely be back!

Checked out this new Irish pub and restaurant and honestly loved it! The food was really good tasty and with good portion sizes (finally!). Drinks were on point too, super refreshing and well made. The vibe was chill, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

The portion of the appetizer was incredibly large; one appetizer was enough to fill us up 😅.
The atmosphere was also very nice.
The waiters were very enthusiastic.
The taste of the dishes was also very good, and the Tuna pock is especially delicious.
The only hope is that the restaurant could change the recipe of the mojito... Maybe adding Sprite would be more suitable for girls 😄

I think this place got new owners. Pass this on my way to work a lot and tried it. Great coffee. Just can’t get it very often because it took too long to make for me to stop on my way to work without running late. The visibly AI generated banners are a bit off putting and also block the view of the food/interior which might keep people from seeing its offerings. Same with the yellow umbrellas (always a bit confused why it’s there when there’s already an awning). Either way, would still stop by again if I have the time.

I can’t fault La Bodega for not having many ready-made vegan items on the menu — that’s pretty typical for Spanish fare. There were still a few things I got to try, and they were happy to make slight modifications. I truly enjoyed everything I ate there.
More importantly, the restaurant itself is super cute. I was there with a small group of friends and the European vibe is lovely — we had a blast. Would also be great for a date.

I came here during a trip with my family and I’m still dreaming of those tapas. The food was incredible, the service was excellent (the server took her time to explain all the cocktails and wine pairing on the menu), and the decor is top notch. Highly recommend the grilled octopus, the mushrooms and the stuffed peppers. If you’re looking for a good restaurant and love to share little plates, this place is for you!

Food was so delicious, I love the atmosphere. Decoration was really good, I kept check around me.
Paella was so good. Loved the sea food.
Only thing I got the white wine. I don’t like to put ice on it. So it was very warm for me. I recommend that keep the bottles more colder fridge. I didn't enjoy that at all which the taste was good but I prefer cold.
Overall it was good experience.
Inci Karaduman - 3 months ago
The atmosphere was really nice and the servers were super friendly, but the food just wasn’t quite my style. The octopus was too salty and the paella was a bit bland… but I think it’s just my taste. My friend really enjoyed the food! I’d say it’s a great spot for a date

It was a lovely and cozy restaurant. We came here for lunch and ordered their gambas al ajillo (garlic prawn), chuletillas de cordero (lamb chop), tortilla espanola (potato omelette), and creme brûlée.
The garlic in the prawn was so strong (I love it!). The spices were well-present in the lamb chop. Their potato omelette was so soft, creamy, and tasty. To close with creme brûlée was the perfect combination.

Cute spot with really nice decor and friendly service, but unfortunately the food was disappointing.
I ordered the pastor huaraches and found the pork to be quite dry, and the corn tortilla base was very thick and lacking flavour. For $23, it definitely didn’t feel worth the price, especially when there are so many more flavourful and affordable Mexican options in Vancouver.
Even my friend’s drink and dessert were just okay, she didn’t end up finishing the dessert.
Overall, a great atmosphere, but the food didn’t live up to the mark for me.

I was so pleased to discover this amazing place to cater to my extremely restrictive dietary requirements. I am so grateful to the establishment. It is so rare to find a place that chooses the best tasting and most nourishing ingredients, rather than choosing convenient Cisco food service products. They have huraches served on a large grilled nopales paddle. Hard to find in Vancouver and delicious! I snuck a small piece of the blue hand-ground corn tortilla. It had so many rich layers of flavour! I didn’t know tortilla could taste like that. Eating and drinking from beautiful handmade pottery was charming. The bowl of mexican hot chocolate was huge, creamy and delicious. I could have shared it among 3 people! We also enjoyed a regular taco, yuca fries and sweet plantains, all delicious! Good for keto, vegetarians, GF. I will definitely be back to try more cacao drinks, their meat toppings and their lettuce-wrapped tacos!

I like theInteresting menu, it’s definitely not a typical taco shop. Flavours are good. Cute venue. I wish the tortillas was either more soft or more crispy but it was kind of between. But had food fragrance from the blue corn.

Had an awesome dining experience at Machete on Christmas Eve! Was looking for somewhere to go that was open and was warmly greeted here. I tried Enmoladas which were super fresh and flavourful and Pozol to drink (highly recommend). Will definitely return soon to try some more dishes.

My favourite restaurant in vancouver! The tortillas are freshly stone ground and the pork in the sazon de mama machete is so juicy. Everyone I’ve brought here is blown away. You know it’s good when you’re planning your next visit during the meal.
This is the only restaurant in vancouver where I feel the price is incredibly justified by the quality, heart, and preparation that goes into both the food and drinks.
It is also the only restaurant where I order drinks off the menu because the pozols (cacao based drinks) are that amazing!

My original review was going to be 3-stars but after a charge error (more on that later), I have downgraded my experience to only 2-stars.
Reviews about Torafuku have generally been positive and they have been Michelin-recommended for multiple years. The restaurant is located just on a the outskirts of Chinatown - these neighbourhoods struggling with various issues but still clinging to hope and vibrancy.
DineOut at Torafuku offered a 3-course menu and we decided to try the low-key lunch. Unfortunately, none of us were impressed. We sampled the chowder starter and the beef noodles but found both too salty. The rice in the "kick-ass" rice bowls had an unpleasant crunch, like undercooked risotto. We advised the staff but they did not offer to do anything to fix the issues. While the meat portions were generous, the flavours lacked any satiating umami-feel. The desserts (a panna cotta or cheesecake) were fine but underwhelming. We ordered lunch special cocktails but were further dismayed when were charged the dinner menu prices. This last mistake is the cause for my downgraded 2-star rating.
The experience left me feeling that I had devoured mall-quality food, at hoity-toity prices

Visited Torafuku for Vancouver Dine Out lunch and everything was fantastic. Started with the green beans and fried tofu; both were excellent. The green beans had a perfect crunch, and the fried tofu had an incredibly light batter with a sauce that balanced the richness beautifully. The ½ rice bowl (pork belly and fried chicken) was the highlight! Tender pork belly, crispy hot fried chicken, and a poached egg that added amazing creamy texture when mixed with the rice. Highly recommend this dish!
Finished with the panna cotta and berry sauce- a simple dessert executed perfectly. Quality ingredients, excellent execution, and thoughtful flavor combinations throughout. Torafuku absolutely delivered and I’ll definitely be back!

Every single dish was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious — I ended up eating way more than I expected because everything was just so good! The steak and scallops were especially outstanding.
The staff took the time to carefully explain each dish, which made the meal even more special. The service was attentive and professional, and I’m so glad we chose this restaurant for such an important occasion. I would definitely love to come back again!
