A solid location to put a Chipotle, high traffic area which means that the service you get is quite underwhelming (if you're ordering online). Portion wise, they tend to always be on the lighter side (even when asking for extra) but the people are friendly and helpful. Overall though, the flavour is there, the cooks are doing a great job and the seasoning is always on point.

I’ve had some pretty bad experiences at other locations. But this location seems to be consistent in quality and servings. I haven’t yet had one bad experience here yet. My go to has always been the burrito bowl. It’s filling, delicious, and it’s a HUGE portion. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican gourmet this isn’t for you. This is a fast food Tex Mex place.

My experience at Chipotle today was extremely disappointing. I ordered a steak bowl and was told I would need to wait 5 minutes for it to be freshly cooked, which I agreed to. However, moments later they attempted to serve me steak taken from another order. Despite me clearly stating that I was willing to wait for fresh steak, I was told, “we didn’t want to keep you waiting.” This shows a lack of respect for customer requests and a disregard for quality standards. To make matters worse, the steak I finally received was mostly undercooked. This is not only a bad customer experience but also a serious food safety concern. From a brand like Chipotle, I expected professionalism, proper food handling, and respect for customer expectations. Unfortunately, this experience met none of those standards.

I recently visited Chipotle Mexican Grill on Kingsway in Burnaby, and it was a great experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the clean and modern setup. Being vegan, I was pleased to find several plant-based options. I chose a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, sofritas (which is their seasoned tofu), fajita veggies, and a mix of salsas. I topped it off with guacamole and lettuce. The flavors blended well, and the portion was generous and satisfying. They also offer a “Veggie Full Bowl,” which includes white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, and guacamole. It’s great to see clearly labeled vegan options on the menu. Overall, my visit to Chipotle on Kingsway was enjoyable. The combination of friendly service, clean environment, and tasty vegan options makes it a solid choice for a quick and satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be returning.

We ordered a few pizzas here for a small gathering. It was my first time eating their pizza and I was impressed. Food: 5/5 - a great selection of pizzas ranging from the lactose intolerant cheese people to the hearty meat lovers to the vegetarians. They fit the bill for all pizza lovers. Stone oven pizza in the heart of Metrotown. It was our first order and we were shocked to have that huge half n half pizza. Perfect ingredients and the thin crust was well baked with that touch of the Italian taste. Recommended!

I have been frequenting this location very regularly for over 5 years and I'm sad to report the quality of the to-go slices have dropped significantly in the past two years or so. Using fewer toppings and thinner crust while raising the price per slice is unfortunate. My most recent slices of simple pepperoni was seriously lacking in cheese which they tried to hide with pepperoni slices. I have felt ripped off with my last few visits to this location. Disappointed. Used to be a loyal customer. Will say the staff is always really great. I just love good pizza and this is no longer good. Bye pizza garden.

Great restaurant for larger groups! We had a party of 11 for a birthday celebration. Service was a little slow at the start, but once our orders were placed, the food came out quickly — hot, fresh, and very tasty. We had a great experience at Earls in Burnaby…. Even on arrival, the hostesses were very friendly & the ambiance was warm, welcoming, I must say that they have got the ambiance down packed. It was a great atmosphere and perfect for a relaxed meal. My husband and I were in Vancouver for work (my first time being here). We needed somewhere to eat after a busy day and didn’t have time to make resos so we just tried our luck at the closest restaurant, being Earls. (It was also a Friday night) When we got in it was so busy but surprisingly we didn’t have to wait long at all for a table. The host sat us at the bar while we waited for a table to free up and ordered some drinks (they were amazing). It only took around 10-15mins to be seated. Our server Cedric was amazing, he was so friendly and welcoming. He answered all of our questions about the menu and we ended up going with what he suggested. The steak/mash/veg and the seafood+steak combo. Everything was super delicious and Cedric made the experience top notch! We will definitely be returning when in Vancouver again :)

We’ve been to Earls Kitchen & Bar at Metrotown several times now, and it’s always been a reliable spot for good food with some really great vegetarian options. We used to usually stick to our go-to order of the Warm Spinach + Three Cheese Dip and the Kung Pao with Tofu. However, today we found out the dip contained anchovies (something we didn’t know before, and since my wife is vegetarian, that one is off our list now). That turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because our server Alicia gave us some excellent recommendations and we decided to try something completely different. My wife had the Truffle Tortellini (Veggie) with Garlic Bread, while I went with the Cajun Blackened Chicken (without bacon). Both dishes were absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To end the evening, we couldn’t resist the Sticky Chocolate Toffee Pudding, which lived up to its reputation as a true classic. The food was great, but what made the experience even better was the thoughtful service and spot-on recommendations from Alicia. She really helped make it a memorable dinner for us. All in all, Earls Metrotown delivered yet another wonderful dining experience — delicious food, great service, and an evening well spent.

If you're looking for a spot with a solid roll, this is the place to be. You can taste the quality of the meat, they source their beef quite well. However, the flavour is not authentic but does a good enough job to scratch an itch. Pricing is on point with it being 'authentic' but does not reflect a value lunch. The french fries are quite greasy, it might be the oil needing to be changed though. But its still a passable option for a side. They could be a bit more generous with their Onion Rings portions but if you like incredibly crispy rings, this is the place to be. Service is quite slow given only 2 employees running the whole operations. I have heard their milkshakes are quite good and I'm looking forward to trying those when I'm next back in the area. There isn't too much space for eating at the restaurant so take out is your best bet.

Really used to enjoy eating here but lately the food portions have gone down dramatically. I bought a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, fries and a drink which cost $24. There was hardly any meat and cheese in the sandwich compared to a couple of years ago. The taste was good they just cheaped out on the portions. For $24 I expected more. It’s a shame since there aren’t many places that have good Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Don’t think I’ll go back.

Great place to pit stop if you’re at metrotown. Price is a bit on the higher side, but worth the purchase as it’ll keep you full for quite a while. Food: Their Original Philly is gooood. Simple and done well. The New Yorker was pretty good but prefer the Original Philly. The add-on-site are typical menu items. Service: Not much interaction so not much to comment on service. You have to ask for ketchup. No straws provided. No private washroom available. Atmosphere: Nice that they have their own seating area. Calm environment to take a break.

Philly cheese steak made to order. I got the original which was $13+ tax. Bread was really nice and soft and meat had a lot of flavour. The size was not very big - about a regular hot dog style bun. Overall, it was just ok and I almost couldn’t tell there was cheese in the sandwich. Bit overpriced and it’s mostly a self serve seating area.

Whenever I'm in Metrotown I like to treat myself to a poke bowl! There's a variety of seafood to choose from along with the sides. I had scallops, salmon, pineapples, seaweed, garlic & some other things! The bowls range from $20.00+ depending on what you select!

Super convenient location. Just across the street from the Metrotown bus loop. Really good vegetarian food. The fries were quite greasy and spicier than anticipated and the salad was drowning in dressing but still overall an enjoyable meal. Hope the food truck stays around for a while!

I’ve long loved Chickpea, but I gotta say, it’s pretty handy to have them right at the skytrain entrance/exit. If you have never had their chickpea fries, do yourself a favour. It’s one of the best bites in the city: creamy interior, crispy on the outside, but it’s the dual sauces that really put them over the top! So good! Hot tip: there are nice picnic tables across the street near the old skytrain entrance/exit from Metrotown. Enjoy your meal there.

I looooooooooove this food truck - everything is so good! And such good value! The first time I went, I just ordered hummus and pita. He gave me 3 falafel "to try, just for you!" and they were the best I've ever had. I go out of my way to come here. And it's good for you! Price point is fine - I'd say moderate. Big fan. UPDATE: Visited their restaurant and used the gift card graciously provided to us. The food is AMAZING. We very much enjoyed it. I ordered the falafel platter. I ate the whole thing, though in hindsight it probably could have fed two; now I'm feeling overly full, but that's my own fault. Could not stop eating once I'd tasted that delicious food. The fries in particular are to die for. * * * Terrible experience tonight. We ordered online from the Chickpea Metrotown food truck, before 6pm. Uber Eats was to deliver it. Our food was showing as ready. We monitored our order online and watched, mystified, as our delivery couriers kept changing. Three. Four. Five couriers. We watched each circle the block, and eventually leave. Was the Chick Pea food truck just extremely busy on a Friday night, we wondered as our stomachs growled, and our food actually not *quite* ready? Was that why they weren't answering their phone? At this point we're wondering if we should just eat elsewhere. But we've paid, and what a hassle, and we just want our Chick Pea! I put on on my shoes. I am going to go there, and talk to the people at that food truck, and find out what's going on. I get there about 8pm, well before Chick Pea's advertised closing time of 9pm. I walk up and down the street, searching for that truck, confirming and reconfirming on my phone I'm at the right spot. And I realize the truth: the food truck is GONE. It's NOT THERE. And it's BEEN gone for probably an hour and a half. That's why the couriers kept changing. Chickpea has wasted a half dozen Uber Eats couriers' time and our time, and left my partner and I cranky and starving. Who processes our order and then just LEAVES for the day?! The gracious side of me wants to believe it was (heaven forbid) some kind of emergency in which the employees needed to abandon everything in haste to rush off to the hospital. But they still could have cancelled our order.
