Our time at Chambar was great! They are a young and energetic staff with amazing and creative drink options, and a good dine-out tasting menu. The Wagyu carpaccio was super tasty, and the New York steak was cooked perfectly, and was super tender and very flavourful. I didn’t understand the salad, but I wasn’t upset with it. The potatoes were my girlfriend’s favourite haha. The atmosphere is really lux, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed our time here! They also have the biggest beer selection I’ve seen, would definitely recommend and I would come back when we are in Vancouver again.

We went for a “pre show” meal (David Letterman at the QE Theatre). From the second we arrived, the staff was incredible. The Hostess welcomed us, a very personable (and super stylish) young person enthusiastically guided us to the most perfect table. Once there, our server Kenzie let us know that she would “time out” our dinner to make showtime. She was fabulous. Both Brian and I have extensive restaurant experience (both front and back of house) we agree that this was TOP NOTCH service. We crushed dinner.

Chambar delivers a stunning backdrop for weddings with its warm brick interior, thoughtful design, and exceptional cuisine that guests always remember.
I photographed a wedding here and loved how the space transitions through the day. From a lively cocktail hour to an elegant reception dinner, the team at Chambar made the logistics feel seamless! The private dining areas and adaptable layout make it great for both intimate celebrations and more lively receptions.

The service and atmosphere were acceptable, but the brunch itself was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The eggs had a shockingly strong, smelly odor, I genuinely don’t know how they were cooked that way. The steak was too chewy! Nothing was good.

This spot is excellent if you enjoy a fine dinning experience with excellent service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. We had a set menu and every bite was so good. The portions were quite generous for our main and their cocktails are well balanced.

The personnel is very kind and the place is calm and perfect to spend some time with friends while talking and having some drinks. I visited first time to watch Super Bowl LX and the experience was good. We enjoyed the happy hour (they advised us about it).

Great time celebrating a birthday! Our waiter Jericho was very friendly, kind and helpful! And thank you to the chef for The great food and being very accommodating on a dish as well, also to the hostesses for their kind smiles. I wish we took some photos of our delicious meals to show, as we really did enjoy them.

We were visiting Vancouver for the whitecaps game, and we went to moxies after for its close proximity and it was so good! First time, the food was so incredible. The mahi mahi may have been the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and the guac and chips appy was SO good. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. Felim made our experience extra special with his fantastic service. Will definitely be back next time!!

Was expecting a mid ramen in a city of amazing ramen. And, tbf ordered without mushrooms.... buut the soft boiled egg instead of an ajitama really makes it hard to recommend to anyone.
Sorry not sorry.

We came for a belated Valentine’s dinner, and really enjoyed the experience!
🍝The food was super tasty, as well as a reasonable portion especially for more upscale places (I had to take some home).
I really enjoyed the Casarecce Boscaiola - it was super flavourful, lovely sauce, and a decent amount of beef with small chunks of sausage.
my partner got the Chicken Linguini - the chicken was nice and juicy, with a considerable amount of pieces! The flavour imo was a bit subtle.
🥖The complimentary focaccia bread was delicious - it had hints of rosemary and olive oil. Although it arrived near the end of our meal, the fresh bread had a toasted nice crust and bouncy center. Perfect to dip with the sauce.
🍟We also got truffle fries for $10. There are a few classic items that are sold but not listed on the menu. It was really good, would have loved more sauce though.
🤵♀️Our server was very nice - she wasn’t afraid to load us up with cheese, thank you!
🕯️The restaurant was nicely decorated - we were sat at a very small table despite making a reservation and the restaurant being pretty empty. The place had a nice dim setting, which is a nice vibe, but can be hard to take pictures. The washroom is outside of the restaurant in the hotel area.
I ready that there was music - we must have missed it!

We had a wonderful dinner for my birthday. The waitress in the bar was friendly and made our night. My husband had the Dine 2 Go 3 course meal. Beef and onion soup, rack of lamb and the berry crepe dessert. She warned that it was a smaller portion of lamb which it was but it was tasty. The side dish of white beans and veggies seemed very undercooked. The bell peppers were still crunchy, eggplant chewy and white beans tough. I had the seafood linguine which was loaded with seafood, the linguine was a bit al dente for my taste and the sauce unseasoned. She even brought me a piece of fudge and sang for my birthday which was very sweet.

It was our first visit to Frankie's and we will definitely be back! The service was amazing, even though the restaurant got a lot busier as the night went on. Our server was so efficient and friendly. Food came quickly! We both ordered the lamb shanks and risotto...🤩🤩 it was beyond delicious!!! The appies of mussels and misto olives were delicious and mouth watering.🤤 5 out of 5 for food, service, amambiance.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My friends and I had an incredible experience here! The service was excellent we were a group of ten, and they managed to bring all our dishes perfectly coordinated. There was also an amazing wine promotion that made the evening even better. The food was absolutely delicious, and we’ll definitely be coming back! 🍷🍝✨

We had such a great experience at The Dirty Apron, and a big part of that was our instructor, Tessa! She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole class feel welcoming from the start. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, and she struck the perfect balance between teaching proper techniques and keeping things fun and relaxed.

This was a gift from my husband and I was hesitant- but boy was I ever pleased. The chef that taught us was excellent- not only great teacher but entertaining as well. Food was amazing and we paired each dish with wine. 10/10

We recently hosted a team building event at The Dirty Apron Cooking School and it was a fantastic experience. We learned how to prepare an entrée, main course, and dessert, then enjoyed the delicious meal we created together.
The staff were very helpful, the instructions were clear, and the ingredients were excellent quality. It was a fun and engaging way to connect as a team. As a bonus, I even learned how to make homemade pasta.
I highly recommend The Dirty Apron to any business looking for a memorable team building activity.

It’s a Yes! We just left a morning meat inspired cooking class. That was fun!
The recipes were simple enough to be repeatable at home. The staff does a lot of the prep work so we spent more time practicing the skills of mixing/tasting and working techniques. In the few hours we cooked and ate 3 dishes. That was plenty of food.
The price is fair. Considering the portions and having a glass of alcohol paired with each dish I do really believe it is worth the money. Especially because I learned transferable skills which will make my home cooking experience a level better. If not two levels up!! :)
Staff were kind. Chef was personable and again, the presentation was professional yet very approachable for anyone who wants to make delicious food approachable. The meals were not complicated. For me, this was a huge bonus.
I’m excited for my wife to buy me another gift certificate. Hehehe. Can’t wait to get a group of friends to join us the next time we go!
Also. I wish I had more photos. Just one dish of 3.
Thanks team

Unique experience as you eat what you make! Your teacher will walk you through a dish, then you go back to your station so that you can create it yourself. He's very engaging, knowledgable, and funny!
The fresh ingredients are already measured and partly prepared for you. You do have to put in some work, but it's great that you don't have to prep it from scratch, and no washing dishes!
Our group made the steak salad, lobster stuffed squid ink tortellini, and chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The facility is very clean and elegant. Just a minor note that the location is near Downtown East Side, so be vigilant and you should be fine. Street or parkade parking available nearby.

What a lovely find! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The rolls were creative and beautiful. The service was very attentive. They have an affordable saki tasting flight if you want to try different saki. The atmosphere is simple and clean. Lots of GF options too.

Service and ambiance was great. Very fast as well. Miso soup very flavourful, sashimi and nigiri, good pieces, however, when we got the salmon avocado and the kuro maki, it was very disappointed. The rice was way too seasoned and the rice vinegar was overpowering all the other flavours. All I could taste was vinager. I would suggest the chef to use a mildish seasoning for the rice to balance all the flavours.

Barely any toppings even when it paying for extra.
Got an additional charge for asking for less banana peppers on my pizza too

Such a cool experience! We went here after a concert and the staff made it extra special by writing our names on the pizza. 🍕✨ The food was delicious, but the personal touch really made the night unforgettable. Great vibe, friendly people, and amazing pizza, definitely recommend!!!!

Uncle Fatih’s Pizza went above and beyond! We came in close to midnight after a concert at Rogers Arena and were greeted with such kind, friendly service. They even wrote a special message on our pizza in ranch sauce — such a thoughtful touch! The atmosphere was great too, with good music and lots of seating while we waited. Whether you want pizza by the slice or a whole pie, they’ve got plenty of options. Perfect spot for a late-night snack. Highly recommend!

My boss treated me to lunch at Nuba in Gastown today. When I saw it was downstairs, I was initially worried it might be damp or smelly, but I was totally wrong! As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere and that amazing, unique Mediterranean aroma. I ordered the lamb kofta and hummus—both were delicious! The variety of sauces on the side really leveled up the flavor. My only minor wish would be for the bread to be served hot and fresh. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!

Food: I got the lamb kafta. It was a little under seasoned but the sauce made up for it. Wasn't mind blowing but it was okay. Small portion, 2 pieces, I don't think I'd order it again. The red pepper appetizer wasn't that special either. It was sweet, not enough salt and the bread was a little stale. Overall wasn't that satisfied with my meal. I would wanna try the chicken shawarma next time.
Service: nice waiters
Atmosphere: relatively quiet, real candles and pretty good vibes.

Taste and quality has been consistent over the years. I used to visit 1-2 times a week, but the porchetta sandwich has gotten smaller and smaller in size for $14.
Decided to get the Porchetta meal today, croutons are missing in the salad, and portion wise... this is overpriced for $19.50. This is not a good venue to visit, when they are charging restaurant level pricing for street food portions.

Meat & Bread never let's me down. Their meatball sandwich is INSANE. The ratio of meatball to bread is off the charts. Seriously, I couldn't believe how stacked the sandwich was when it arrived.
Amazing bread, flavour profiles and more than enough to fill you up for one meal.
If you're ordering takeaway, put your order in early because they do sell out of sandwiches as the day goes on!

I went there on a friend’s recommendation, and I have to say it was a great one! The place is beautiful and stylish, with large industrial-style tables and a big counter where you can eat and interact with the friendly restaurant staff. The sandwich was delicious and well-balanced, with just the right amount of everything. The porchetta was absolutely crazy you can tell it’s fresh and made daily. I would have liked a couple more beer options, but overall, I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to others!

Absolutely delicious meats for the pork, I loved that it left some of the crunchy bits in. The sauce and texture were very good, although it felt a tad salty to me. I did not love that there were no veggies in the sandwich, it made the sandwhich unbalanced to me. The turkey was quite dry, I would not recommend that. The salad was also too salty to me.

This is such a cozy and welcoming dessert café. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed — it has a relaxing, home-like atmosphere that makes it really comfortable to sit and unwind, whether you’re alone or with friends.
I ordered a latte and really enjoyed it. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, with beautiful latte art on top. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend some quiet time reading, thinking, or just enjoying the vibe.
Overall, it’s a lovely spot for coffee, dessert, and good company. I’d be happy to come back again. 💛

I ended up coming here because it was one of the only places open so late. Inside it’s kind of random and casual, but I like how they have a lot of options on their menu. Including alcoholic bubble tea! I didn’t try it but plan to come back next time for that. We got the award-winning apple cheesecake and a mango slushy which were both good.

Good spot for a breakfast. Food was really good. We had the OG bun with mascarpone and berries and was amazing. The smoked salmon bagel was good too. Tea and coffee was normal. The latte could have more coffee for our taste but overall the place was good. The price was a bit high but the food was good so I guess it's OK.

Good time dining here for coffee on a weekend late morning! Service was friendly and prompt. They have an extensive beverage menu and baked goods options (including their coffee buns and other items). I had a decaf latte and a To Live For Bakery Lemon Coconut Loaf. Latte had a nice coffee flavour. The loaf came refrigerated and I didn't ask, but I'm sure they would've warmed it on request. My friend had their pistachio latte (great flavour with pistachio pieces on top) and the white chocolate pistachio croissant. They ate it cool/room temperature, but it probably would've tasted better heated (as there was filling inside). Still a good croissant though! Would recommend and return.
One thing we noticed was the hand sanitizer at the self-service counter (where you return dishes, get milk for coffee, etc.), located against a wall right above the stir sticks. As the automatic dispenser can drip quite easily, the extra liquid is quite susceptible to landing on and contaminating the objects below. They should relocate it, or at least, not have items like utensils underneath it.
