5 Star Rating I’ve always liked Chambar and this experience doesn’t disappoint. It was the 20th year anniversary 3 course menu with 2004 price, which is such a great deal nowadays. I know this year has been difficult for many restaurants and those Michelin star restaurants probably took the spotlights, but to be honest, after going to several those restaurants and being disappointed over and over again, it makes me appreciate an OG restaurant like Chambar so much. Its service quality, attention to details, and taste of food really make it last. Thanks so much for a great meal and I hope to come back many more times in the years to come!

5 Star Rating One of our favorite restaurants in the city and an annual tradition every time we visit our friends in the city. We have been coming here for years and pleased to say the consistency and quality has always been maintained. Typically we attend dinner but have had lovely brunch experiences which include delightful mini waffles with an assortment of handmade sauce toppings. The only downside, which doesn’t get points knocked off merely wistful wishing, is for the return of the veal stuffed calamari, a dish that solidified our love for this restaurant and while we will always return, it truly was a benchmark item we still talk about.

5 Star Rating The service, ambience and food at Chamber are excellent. I first dined there a few years ago and remember how good.it was. I'm so glad that the quality didn't change. I had the ahi tuna for my appetizer, the lamb shank for my main and Basque cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

5 Star Rating I had my birthday dinner here with my close friends and Tammy, our server did an excellent job. She was very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and competent. Our food and drinks were delicious. She even went above and beyond by getting our cake that we brought in cut for us and plated. This type of service is so rare to find these days and we appreciated it so much. Thank you Tammy for the exceptional dinner!

5 Star Rating Won’t be able to add much that hasn’t been said many times. The only thing that I would wish for is some better kid options. Been to many high end restaurants that can whip up something a little kid friendly but not so here. The duck is delicious but obviously their bread and butter is the Muscles. Absolutely intoxicating!!!

5 Star Rating A wonderful experience from start to finish. Went there for a business meeting and it quiet enough to chat and had terrific service. The waiters were helpful and polite and checked back routinely despite covering upstairs and downstairs. The food was delicious and we ordered a variety of plates that we shared which was a nice way to taste more of the menu

4 Star Rating I definitely enjoyed my meal here! The food was fresh tasting and well presented. Our server was m.i.a. a lot of the time, and our food took about 30 minutes. The atmosphere was nice and the music was at a reasonable volume for the other guests and I to have conversation. We would love to come back at some point to this location!

4 Star Rating We were here for New Year's eve. What I really liked and appreciated about this restaurant: 1) they didn't have a fixed menu and gave you the flexibility to order any dish 2) they offer freshly baked focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar 3) generous on the beverage pour :) and the portions were sufficient for the price. We enjoyed the salmon dish. Very crispy skin and perfectly cooked. Salad was sufficient and deliciously light. Service was great. Overall the experience was great. We really appreciated that they didn't take advantage of patrons by increasing their prices on New Year's eve.

4 Star Rating First time but quite happy with the experience! The ambiance is lovely with good aesthetics! They had a happy hour menu and I tried Mussels which were delicious ! 4.2/5 They have the house made fresh bread along with olive oil and soy garlic as complementary - 3.4/5 We had chicken linguini pasta - 4.5/5 We had proneto Parmesan Fries which are made with corn instead of potato , I would say it tasted more like a corn bread -2.5/5 I ordered ginger ale as it’s not the time for alchohol but they have huge options for alchohol as well. The only things is they served ginger ale in a glass and filled with lots of ice cubes and the flavour was getting lost by the end of the lunch!! Good experience over all, give it a try!

5 Star Rating Our group of 15 had an AMAZING time at our private event. The chef, Takashi, was very kind and patient. He was very thorough in his instructions and everyone felt confident in executing. The FOH Manager, Caio, was extremely tentative and always checking in with us. The team was very accommodating with our range of dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be recreating these dishes at home. We all can't wait to come back and try out another menu from their extensive and diverse selection!

5 Star Rating Wow! What an amazing setup for a cooking class! Room layout, equipment, cooking facilities A+!! On top of that David was a superb teacher! Casual, funny, engaging and a fabulous cook! I learned several things that I will use immediately at home! We did a fish course, steak course and dessert. Each was amazingly easy to create and delicious! We ate together at a long table in the adjoining room and so got to meet other participants and enjoy them, the food, and drink. On top of all this they consciously accommodated my gluten free needs and made sure I was comfortable! We came away so impressed with the entire evening! My friend who has done cooking classes all over the world rated this as one of the best she had ever attended. Kudos Dirty Apron!! My only sadness is that you are not located in my home town!! Thanks so much David! Nicki and Katy

5 Star Rating This was my third class at Dirty Apron and as always, it did not disappoint. Even though I'm not vegan, I took the vegan class and learned a lot and am excited to try different spins on the recipes. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are treated to phenomenal customer service as you prepare for the class. The demonstrations for each course are thorough and informative, and there are always great cooking tips interspersed throughout. The cooking stations are always well prepared and very clean. After each course, you get to enjoy your food in the dining area, which always has a great atmosphere. Each dish is packed with flavour and has a good mix of texture. Although the classes are a bit more expensive than some others, they are worth every penny (or every nickel since we no longer have pennies...). Thanks Dirty Apron for another wonderful evening- I'm already excited for my next class!

5 Star Rating The miso soup here is exceptional. Been to a lot of sushi places but the flavors in this one hits different ❤️❤️❤️ I couldn't get any pics of miso (2 CAD) as I finished it in a minute 😂 The right one is Veggie roll (5 CAD) and the left one is Veggie California roll (6 CAD) along with 6 pcs prawn tempura (12 CAD). The prawn Tempura was really crispy and worth the money however it was thin and decent sized. The veggie California roll was good and the veggie roll was better but the sushi kept falling apart for both the rolls. Give it a try if you are in Chinatown and want to have sushi. Tsuki Bar is a great restaurant and has really cozy vibes with minimum lights and candles all over. Edit - This was seriously the most delicious meal here. DON'T miss out eating here. This place offers quality food unlike others in the area.

4 Star Rating Tsuki Sushi Bar is located in Chinatown, right across the street from International Village. We dropped by here for quick and simple lunch. The food was quite good and they have a good number of Vegetarian specialty rolls on their menu. I shared a Veggie California Roll and a Veggie Futomaki with someone else in the family who like me, was wanting to eat something light and at the same time Vegetarian. Veggie California Roll consisted of tofu, avocado, cucumber & balsamic sauce while the Veggie Futomaki was made of Shiitake, cucumber, spinach, kanpyo, bell pepper and Inari. Really enjoyed these two rolls. Most people think of raw fish when they think of sushi, but Vegetarian sushi can be very tasty as well and for anyone who's struggled with the words "Eat your veggies!" I find that it's an absolutely delightful way to eat my veggies! Wish more sushi restaurants would expand their Vegetarian options! 4 Star Rating I always heard good things from Nuba and I finally tried today. You can reserve a table online. It was surprisingly not busy at lunch today but I anticipated it will be busy in the evening given its New Year’s Eve. Falafels plate and Najib’s special are really good. Plates come with a side salad, brown rice or potatoes and pita or romaine. One of the best falafels I ever had. It’s moist and very flavourful. The roasted cauliflower is crispy and juicy! I find it filling but it may not be enough for people with bigger appetite. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. They have a lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free option. Highly recommended. If I have to be picky, I would like to have a spicier sauce. It’s not super expensive but it is on a higher end as it costs almost $20 each. But I will come here again!

For $6.99 we got a croissant sandwich, a pain au chocolat pastry, an apple strudel, and one of their famous coffee buns. I have to admit, we weren't too impressed when we first saw the bag. It looked quite small to us. However, after emptying the contents and surveying each item...we were quite happy with what we got! The croissant sandwich was well received by my daughter and husband. I toasted it up in the toaster oven for them and it got nice & crispy. We all enjoyed the sweets...especially the coffee bun. When I warmed up the coffee bun in our toaster oven we could smell the wonderful aroma of the coffee bun wafting through the air. It got slightly burnt on the top as I accidentally left it in the toaster oven a bit longer than I should have but it was still delicious. I think I now have a renewed interest in coffee buns!

5 Star Rating I don’t know why it took me so long to try this cafe. The quality of the drip coffee is surprisingly top notch, and the bun is to die for. I love how friendly the folks are behind the counter too.

5 Star Rating First time trying OG bun! It’s like a coffee bun/ pineapple bun with crispier top. Its inside was fluffy and buttery. I tried the plain one and it tasted good with no filling. Lots of different variations including ice cream sandwich.

5 Star Rating Don’t know why it took me so long to write a review but….I’m a regular. The girls are incredibly skilled and friendly. The coffee quality is great, and most of all, the staff is trained to pour a perfect shot of espresso. Great ownership, and always a pleasure to grab a daily coffee.

5 Star Rating This place has incredible pastries and lunch items! We just went here for coffee and we came out with some absolutely delicious food. I can definitely recommend the spinach croissant and both of the Jamaican patties and my friends raved about the wraps and the other pastries, including the croissant. I would definitely go back here anytime I was in Vancouver, what a great surprise. I couldn’t figure out quite where the cuisine originates from.
