Amazing service, hospitality and food. The team ensured that every need of ours was attended too and also ensured that we had a great experience. The team was polite, friendly , knowledgeable and thoroughly professional.
The food was amazing. The tuna and the steak were cooked to perfection with amazing flavours. The carpacio was spot on. The cocktails were mind blowing.
A thoroughly delightful gastronomic experience.

Had booked dinner for our family to celebrate a milestone birthday, had anticipated for delicious food only to have been very disappointed by the mains. The appetizers showed great promise, the shrimp scampi, strawberry salad, and carpaccio were great as were the other few appies we ordered. The zero proof drinks were also very enjoyable. Unfortunately, out of the 6 meals we ordered for the mains, the only 2 guests who enjoyed their food were the ones that shared the steak. 3 of us ordered the sablefish main, which has always been a favorite but this time it was unrecognizable. Sablefish is usually very flaky and soft and melts in your mouth . This was not that at all. There was firstly such a small piece of fish in my meal, I only had a couple bites worth. Secondly there seemed to hardly be any fish and it tasted overcooked and nothing like any sablediah I've had before-- very underwhelming. All 3 of us felt the same . The best part of the meal was the small chorizo sausage that was not supposed to be the main highlight. The sweet potato dish also fell flat. This was a mood killer by then end as none of us finished our meals and were left disappointed.
Next time if im ever back, ill stick to just the appies and drinks.

Really enjoyed our breakfast here, the interior and ambiance were lovely. Coffee was rich and aromatic. Our dishes came promptly, service was nice. I really loved the sausages on my skewer, it paired nicely with the eggs, making it a perfect breakfast combo. My bf enjoyed his dish as well, would come back for sure!

Overrated, overpriced. My friend had allergies, when ordering he told about his allergies but they still did not take his allergies into account and brought the stuff he was allergic to. Also, waiter has a slightly condescending attitude to my friend as well.
Also, my chocolate lavender mocha had no chocolate and no lavender was basically coffee with milk
And very interesting how highly reviewed this place is, i wonder why 🤔
Reply to the owner's reply: Its good that you are listening to customers, thats a big plus already! I am happy to give feedback, not sure how to reach out directly so I am going to write it here - its just not really good/just okay. How to not be just okay? How to improve? - Either drop the prices significantly! (You are absolutely not worth this price, nowhere near in fact) or make things way more interesting or create a lot more value for the current prices, and also improve the service as well, otherwise in my eyes you don't stand out at all. How to create more value? Bigger portions, make the foods more interesting/exotic/unique experience. Just more value overall significantly more. Note that I have travelled all over the world and have been at some of the best restaurants so my particular standards are high so if and when you do changes I am happy to come again and try again, and I can update the review accordingly.

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday. The atmosphere is so beautiful and romantic with candle light at every table. They have a massive beer/wine menu with a lot of interesting drinks. And the food is amazing!!!! They don't have a massive menu but what they do, they do really really well so don't be afraid to try something new because it will be great! I had their mussels and my boyfriend had the duck. The food is incredible and well worth it. All the staff were really nice. Thanks for a lovely experience 🥰

Went there for my mom’s birthday.
I had left a note in the reservation asking them that when I ordered dessert, they bring it with a “Happy Birthday” message and they did it in such a beautiful way 🥹
The food was amazing and the portions were big so we were totally full.
I recommend trying the shrimp tacos if you like spicy food 🌮
But the best part was our waitress. I don’t know her name but she was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Huge thanks to her! 🫶🏻💚
The only small issue was the lighting, it was a bit too dark 😂
But besides that everything was perfect!

It's my first time at any Moxies . First impressions are great. Clean nice setup. Customer service was excellent both times. Food proportion is worth the price. The flavors all blend perfectly. Well done to the chef's. Great tasting coffee. I loved the little creamer they give you with your coffee. Loved the setup.

Great Italian place! We sat inside but they have a nice street side patio seating. Wife got salmon salad, I got Nonna Maria lasagna. Both are great and we finished our plates, it was that good. Mostly Italian, some other items on menu. They do offer alcohol beverages. Ambiance is nice, sort of romantic (soft low lighting). Our waitress was great, and we noticed good service from all the wait staff.

We stayed at the Georgian and wanted to check out this place for dinner, and glad we did! Our dinner was amazing, the ambiance was romantic and had a nice, low volume jazz music play in the background. We started with drinks, and bread, then I had the beet & steak salad, and my bf had one of the pizzas (can't remember the name). For dessert, we had chocolate gelato. Service was nice and prompt. If you're in the area and craving Italian cuisine, I highly recommend this place!

Everything was excellent! We had reservations for 5:30 and were promptly seated. I had the lasagna, my wife ordered the chicken alfredo, and we shared a side salad. Food arrived piping hot and everything was so delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Atmosphere was amazing on the patio, not too loud or quiet. You can hear the music just fine. BUT👏THE👏FOOD👏 it was cooked to perfection, the bread and the lasagna was amazing ❤️. The lasagna is quite filling so if you order it you should keep that in mind. (Spoiler the lasagna is better than Costco lasagna the real ones know 🤫) Honestly great place.

I've never dinned in a fancy Italian restaurant before this was my first time. The experience was phenomenal . The service was exceptional 👏 Megan was very polite, with an excellent personality, and was happy go lucky. She answered all our questions about the menu and gave us all the recommendations on the dishes she enjoys .
It is a great environment all around. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for dining at Frankie's Italian Restaurant. I will be back and will bring with me my family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an incredible time at the Mama Mia cooking class at The Dirty Apron with Rafael as our instructor! From the very beginning, Rafael’s passion and skill truly stood out. He made everything so easy to follow, no matter your experience in the kitchen. He was funny, engaging, and incredibly kind—especially when we got a little lost in our recipe. He guided us patiently and never made anyone feel out of place.
Every other staff member working that night was also amazing—so helpful, friendly, and professional. The whole team made the experience feel fun, smooth, and welcoming from start to finish.
One thing to note: be sure to book your class a few months in advance! These classes are super popular and fill up quickly, especially if you want to join on a Tuesday with Rafael. I would 100% take this class again and recommend it to everyone looking for a fun and memorable evening.

Unique experience as you eat what you make! Your teacher will walk you through a dish, then you go back to your station so that you can create it yourself. He's very engaging, knowledgable, and funny!
The fresh ingredients are already measured and partly prepared for you. You do have to put in some work, but it's great that you don't have to prep it from scratch, and no washing dishes!
Our group made the steak salad, lobster stuffed squid ink tortellini, and chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The facility is very clean and elegant. Just a minor note that the location is near Downtown East Side, so be vigilant and you should be fine. Street or parkade parking available nearby.

I came to Dirty Apron for a corporate event 10+ years ago and had great time so I thought I would sign up for a cooking class for both of us for my husband's birthday yesterday. When he checked out their website, he was intrigued by their Picnics offerings so that was what we did.
We ordered for the Gourmet Picnic for Two Option and picked out our sandwich, salad, cookie and beverage choices for each of us the. The charcuterie box included in the Gourmet option was decadent and has plenty of cheeses, meats, fruits, and brownie for 2.
We picked up our order at 10:00 on a Wednesday and there was only one party in the deli section enjoying their breakfast. The boxes came with a nice and sturdy hemp / burlap shopping bag and we carried it all the way to Stanley Park for our birthday picnic.
We loved everything in our picnic boxes. The bread of our sandwiches were soft. The crab and shrimp in my sandwich was creamy and tasty. The Japanese potato salad had a very nice kick to it. My salted caramel cookie was sinfully good. We were too full to touch the charcuterie box so we brought it home for dinner with a bottle of viognier.

Thank you so much to Tessa and Team for making our birthday visit so special. ❤️ The cooking class experience was amazing and I love that it's catered towards home cooks and beginners yet the products felt so gourmet and elevated. There's also drinks and clean-up is taken care of between courses so that you can focus on cooking and enjoying your meals. Cannot recommend this enough and we look forward to coming back soon!! :)

The cooking class was amazing. Everything was set up ahead of time to help you follow along easily. We also get to pick a drink to pair with each course from a list they provided. The instructor was really professional and always check in to make sure everyone felt comfortable with what they were doing.

Uncle Fatih’s Pizza went above and beyond! We came in close to midnight after a concert at Rogers Arena and were greeted with such kind, friendly service. They even wrote a special message on our pizza in ranch sauce — such a thoughtful touch! The atmosphere was great too, with good music and lots of seating while we waited. Whether you want pizza by the slice or a whole pie, they’ve got plenty of options. Perfect spot for a late-night snack. Highly recommend!

Great pizza!! Paul came in behind us and confirmed it was the best pizza in the city. $4 for a ready slice—they heat it back up in the oven. Hot and yum! Or order your own pizza. The employee there Sadu? He’s so awesome. Super helpful. Lots of sauces to go on top he wrote Paul a thank you written in ranch sauce on his cheese pizza. Paul likes cheese the best. We tried the pesto and the pepperoni. We also tried a slice of pesto pizza from a nearby pizza place just to confirm, and this really was the better pizza by far. Great price. Great food. Highly recommend!

Greatest customer service and tastiest bang for your buck pizza in downtown Vancouver. Is it artisanal pizza? No. Is it the best pizza in the world? Hard to say. But I always walk out of Uncle Fatih’s on Abbott with a smile, a pizza with a custom garlic sauce design and hope for humanity. If you’re lucky enough to have Shub customize your slice you are one lucky customer.

we had high hopes based on a recommendation, but left feeling a bit let down.
service was great, atmosphere also nice but there seemed to be a mouse running around the dining area. The place was too warm with poor airflow and outside was much cooler.
The killer was the food, it sounds great, looks nice, no flavour. The food uniformly has no seasoning at all, the best of our dishes was the cauliflower, not because they seasoned it but it comes with a slice of lemon and we could do it ourselves. The pita bread was so low effort, just packaged pita cut, no seasoning, not even heated.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to give it a try. The decor and atmosphere were great, definitely a pleasant and inviting space . We ordered the Grilled Sampler Platter for two ($60), but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The grilled chicken had a strong burnt, bitter taste that overpowered everything else.
On the positive side, the lamb, shrimp, and broccoli were well-cooked and enjoyable. However, considering the portion size and the price, we felt it didn’t offer good value overall

Our experience was so amazing!! We came for our birthday lunch and the food was delicious. We go the lunch plates Lamb Kafta, Lamb Shawarma, Chicken Shish Tawook, Najib Special. Our server gave us the crème brûlée & the tiramisu for our birthday! They were also training a set of new servers all of whom were doing a good job. Very happy with our decision to come to Nuba for our bday lunch!

We wanted some authentic Lebanese food and Nuba was perfect. The service was warm and friendly. They had a good selection of beer on tap and wines by the glass. The hummus was very flavorful and the bread delicious. Love the halloumi skewers, and the lamb kofta was amazing. I also really liked the cocinaron of fig, feta and pear salad - perfect for the summer. Highly recommend it.

Very nice experience — both the food and service was good! The restaurant has a dark, warm atmosphere and is perfect for a little get together. Would highly recommend getting multiple plates to share.
The brussels sprouts were the highlight of the night. I only wish that it had come with more hummus as the base. The cauliflower with the dips (tahini and a hot sauce) was also great and the lamb kofta was nice and soft. The halloumi skewers tasted good but I’m confused on how it was $20 for only two skewers, each containing only a couple of pieces of cheese. Had the knafeh and mahalabia for dessert and both were thoroughly enjoyed — neither were too sweet which was great and the nuts on top really elevated each of the dishes.

Meat & Bread never let's me down. Their meatball sandwich is INSANE. The ratio of meatball to bread is off the charts. Seriously, I couldn't believe how stacked the sandwich was when it arrived.
Amazing bread, flavour profiles and more than enough to fill you up for one meal.
If you're ordering takeaway, put your order in early because they do sell out of sandwiches as the day goes on!

I went there on a friend’s recommendation, and I have to say it was a great one! The place is beautiful and stylish, with large industrial-style tables and a big counter where you can eat and interact with the friendly restaurant staff. The sandwich was delicious and well-balanced, with just the right amount of everything. The porchetta was absolutely crazy you can tell it’s fresh and made daily. I would have liked a couple more beer options, but overall, I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to others!

Absolutely delicious meats for the pork, I loved that it left some of the crunchy bits in. The sauce and texture were very good, although it felt a tad salty to me. I did not love that there were no veggies in the sandwich, it made the sandwhich unbalanced to me. The turkey was quite dry, I would not recommend that. The salad was also too salty to me.

Great porchetta sandwich! It's really tender and the cracklings give it some nice textural contrast. The mustard dip is a must, but try a few others while you're there.

I recently visited this place and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious – I tried the porchetta and buffalo chicken, and both were bursting with flavor. Super tasty and cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff was welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. My only suggestion would be that the portions could be a bit bigger, but overall, it was a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

A Hidden Gem That Never Disappoints!
I stumbled upon PappaRoti Café & Bakery on Canada Day, and it instantly became one of my favorite places in the city. The festive atmosphere, adorned with lights and a proud Canadian flag, made it a perfect vibe to celebrate the day. I was completely intrigued and mesmerized by how welcoming and beautifully set up the space was.
What truly sets this place apart are the unique and mouthwatering recipes—everything from their signature buns to the iced Karak tea is pure comfort in a cup. The flavors are distinctive and delicious, they make every visit feel special.
The owner is absolutely lovely, and the staff always greet you with warmth and kindness. Their hospitality is consistent, and each time I come here, I walk away with a great experience and a happy heart. You can tell they care deeply about their customers and their craft.
Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a cozy catch-up with friends, PappaRoti delivers. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot that combines exceptional food, inviting ambiance, and genuine service.
