The coffee was very good, and the cheesecake was delicious. The cafe was clean. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good.
My only complaint is that the dishes, especially the plates, looked very old, scratched, and worn out. Replacing them would make the overall experience much more enjoyable.

I recently visited Trees Organic Coffee at 450 Granville, and it was a really nice experience overall. The location is very convenient, especially if you’re downtown and looking for a place to grab a coffee, sit for a bit, or take a small break from the busy area.
The coffee was good, and the place had a comfortable and welcoming feel. I liked that it didn’t feel too complicated or overdone. It’s the kind of spot where you can stop in, enjoy your drink, and relax for a few minutes. The staff were also friendly, which always makes the experience better.
The atmosphere was cozy and easygoing, making it a good place to meet someone, do a bit of work, or just enjoy a coffee by yourself. Being right on Granville also makes it a convenient stop if you’re walking around downtown or heading somewhere nearby.
Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely visit again. If you’re in the area and looking for a simple, comfortable coffee shop, Trees Organic Coffee is worth checking out.

Their taro pineapple is so good! Highly recommend taro lovers to get this drink because the pineapple paired up so well with it! Service was also great and the girls serving me let me switch up how I want my drink halfway through with no problem.

Absolutely love this place for great coffee, delicious desserts, and the option to grab a quick bite! They always have something fresh like sandwiches and wraps, which makes it a perfect spot for a casual stop.
We had the Ham Swiss Croissant, Ham and Cheese Baguette, Oreo Cheesecake, and—of course—coffee. Everything was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Been meaning to come here for a long time - always passing by and given the good reviews.
I was disappointed with the taro latte, but their cheese cakes were decent - did not quite meet our expectations though. Maybe their other drinks are much better and they do have interesting decor inside

This was a hidden gem in Gastown. Tucked in a quaint corner away from the main hustle and bustle, you transport to a beautiful spectacle of charm and architecture after a flight of stairs down through an alley. The food was some of the best I've ever tasted and the service from the team and our server, Carlos, was simply impeccable.

A special cafe in Vancouver. We stopped by for desserts after dinner that night. Their ice cream flavors were really nice. We had a Cookies Cream ice cream and a White Chocolate Raspberry ice cream too. The flavors were really fresh and the staff was really nice. She was kind enough to give us a taster and helped us have a great dining experience there.

On New Year’s Eve, before the countdown, I was strolling around Gastown checking out the Steam Clock when I passed by Trees Organic Coffee and decided to stop in.
Wow!their new Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake is absolutely delicious! The hazelnut chocolate flavor is super rich, the cheesecake is smooth and not overly sweet, and paired with a cup of organic coffee, it was perfect.
The atmosphere is cozy with those retro brick walls, the location is very convenient (just a short walk from Canada Place), and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to dessert lovers!

Trees Organic Coffee in Gastown is hands down one of my favorite spots for cheesecake in Vancouver, and their Tiramisu Cheesecake is an absolute standout. It’s rich and creamy with just the right balance of espresso and cocoa, layered perfectly without being overly sweet. The texture is smooth, decadent, and pairs beautifully with a cup of their fresh coffee.
The Gastown location itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a nice mix of locals and tourists—it’s the perfect place to relax with dessert after exploring the area. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere make the experience even better.
If you’re a cheesecake lover, you can’t miss this place.

Tried the gelato at Trees Organic Coffee in Gastown and it was excellent. We had the black sesame and tiramisu flavors—both were rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The black sesame was perfectly balanced and unique, and the tiramisu was creamy and indulgent without being too sweet.
The lady at the counter was really nice and friendly. A great spot to stop for gelato while exploring Gastown. Would definitely recommend.

this was an amazing experience! the view is incredible and the buffet is delicious as well.
there was a huge variety of food - lots of seafood, an omelette and pasta station, and lots of dessert. as someone with a sweet tooth, I have to admit- all I had was dessert here and it was amazing! but the others that had seafood enjoyed theirs as well.
however, the view is definitely the main reason why this restaurant is so unique and set apart from others. the view is breathtaking, you are able city, sea, sky, forests, and mountains. we went on a foggy day but it was just as beautiful :) the restaurant rotates at a comfortable pace, so you’re able to see each view and each view more than once.
we really enjoyed spending new year’s day here as a family. the combination of the food + view is so worth it and such a memorable experience!

I took my partner here for his birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. We both got the 3-course meal for $125 each and we were stuffed by the end of it. Tasted good and our server, Summer, was very friendly and attentive!
This spot attracts a lot of tourists and it’s on the pricier side, as you’re pretty much paying for the experience and the view too. We knew this going in and wanted to try it out anyways. I strongly recommend making reservations (an extra $10 per person if you want a good view)! It gets very busy at around the 7:30-8pm mark, so things may take longer to come out.

Lovely visit to the cities iconic rotating restaurant. It's takes an hour to fully rotate and the views were stunning. The waitress and staff were very obliging and my Husband even received a birthday card and candle in a desert.
The only disappointment was receiving my lunch ten minutes after my Husband's. He had almost finished his. The kitchen should not have sent his out before mine.
Well worth a visit just for the views.

This is a must-visit restaurant in the city! It is so interesting to see Vancouver from way up high. The kitchen certainly did not disappoint—everything we ordered was high quality and beautifully presented. Great atmosphere, fantastic views, and lovely food. Don't miss it!

My partner and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary here at this fine dining restaurant. I loved it. The ambience the food the people the location, I loved it so much. They are all nice, polite and gentle to us. The food was great. We came around 3:30ish. It's their happy hour special, but both of us drink alcohol so we just ordered from the regular menu. It was perfect. About the view, the view from the top is magical, as you can see the whole of downtown Vancouver. We will be back, that's for sure.🥰

We had a very nice experience at the Five Sails restaurant tonight. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant. Our server William provided excellent service to us throughout the evening. It was our first time dining at this restaurant. William made us feel very comfortable with everything and we will definitely come back again soon. The food was excellent. Everything from the first course to the dessert was delicious. Chef Alex Kim has created an excellent menu for Mother’s it was well balanced and the portions were perfect. We will recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family. Thank you everyone for giving us such a memorable experience.

The view during the day may be better. There wasnt much to see from the awkward lounge seats in the back. The seating is very awkward where you sit next to your dinner mate instead of sitting facing them. The servers come to talk to you and serve you from the front. The service itself was good, but the awkward atmosphere made it uncomfortable.
Food for the dine out menu was very good. The filet mignon was excellent. I dont know how the lean cut of meat actually tastes so juicy. The presentation of the food was very good. They also offered additional amuse bouche.
The honey bread tastes like fresh asian bakery bread. Was so good.
Tuna crudo was a bit disappointing. It used to have a crispy side, but this one had radishes for the crunch and it wasnt as good.
Dessert tasted great. A bit small, but taste was good.

Beautiful setting with stellar views to celebrate Vancouver. Service was impeccable, to a very high standard (have never seen double-ironing of tablecloths on the table!), and Martina was lovely. Dining choices were for either the Table D'Hote (4 or 6 courses, though an 'amuse bouche' was considered a course) or Dine Out menu. Honey-rosemary rolls were divine, mains of filet mignon and sablefish were excellent. The only miss was the 'Honey' dessert, which looked lovely but didn't taste like much.

My partner brought me here for the first time and I have officially fallen in love with this spot!!! The ambiance is incredible, and the entire experience was so pleasant from start to finish. I generally don’t eat red meat (SO RARELY), but I was told I had to try the burger, and I am so glad I flipping did!!!!!
We both got the Gastown Double (brisket & chuck smash patties with American cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions on a potato bun), and it was easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. That perfect balance of a crispy patty with a soft bun is exactly how it should be done. We also got the truffle tater tots, which were incredible. Overall, perfect way to describe the meals = next level delishness!!!
The drinks were just as impressive. I had the Oaxaca Old Fashioned (400 Conejos Mezcal and Herradura Reposado) and we each had a Mezcal Sour that was made to perfection. The foam was achieveing that 'gold standard' you just don’t see everywhere (check my video for the 'got milk' foam face lol). My partner also got a perfect Negroni to start, and the execution on every single cocktail was flawless.
The service was amazing!! Feel so bad that I forget our server's name, but she was wonderful!!! Thank you to the whole Pourhouse team for such an incredible night and for making me a believer in that burger! We will definitely be back!!

We were incredibly disappointed at this place. Despite reading positive reviews about their burgers, we couldn’t believe how that could be possible. Perhaps we had unrealistic expectations, but the burger bun was absolutely old and kept breaking. The Caesar salad was disgusting, and I couldn’t tell if it had pecans or walnuts on it, but it certainly didn’t complement the salad. The burger itself had a processed cheese taste. I would definitely rank this place much lower than other cheap burger joints.
Sogand - 5 months ago
Do you like meat? This place does! The food menu isn’t huge but everything on it is tempting. The drinks menu however is extensive, living up to their name. The scotch egg and the tots are both musts—so delicious, and where else can you get a perfect scotch egg? I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and lightness of the crispy portobello burger, which was not too spicy. The others in my group had burgers, and they are thick and juicy! The Pourhouse burger is celebrated in reviews, and by our waitress; we found the first half is amazing but by the second half it’s bringing on the meat-sweats. You also shouldn’t pass up the crispy chicken starter/snack. The fries are really good, but honestly, swap them out for the salads—they were exceptional! The atmosphere is chill and very Vancouver, and we loved watching the kitchen from where we were seated. Our server Maddy was amazing—helpful, attentive, funny, and down to earth and enjoyed our banter. I would totally recommend.

Exceptional service - we came here after our wedding ceremony and Patrick was an incredible bartender, food and drinks were amazing and they even held onto my bridal bouquet and kept it in water for me when I forgot it at the bar. 15/10 absolutely love this spot and couldn’t recommend it more.

Some fantastic vibes, this place has got. The place has got some seriously well thought out decor and menus. It was a journey going through the menu and just looking around the place and the people. Oh and the smells! The cheeseburger randomly spawned at the table next to us and the aromas practically forced us to order one. The drinks were well made and came in fun glassware too!

Whenever I walk from Yaletown to Canada Place I pass this chocolate and hot chocolate café, and since I have a serious sweet tooth I finally went in to try it. I am very picky about hot chocolate and I love it thick, creamy, and rich. This one was exactly the way I like it. The temperature was spot on and it stayed hot during my walk. It made the whole stroll to Canada Place even more enjoyable. The staff were genuinely friendly and made the visit feel warm and welcoming. I would give them the best rating and I would definitely go back again.

Fairly expensive drinks. Tried their white chocolate slush and dark drinkable chocolate. Both tasted pretty decent. They also give a free sample chocolate along with the drink.
The staff could be a little polite though. My friends drink was spilled accidentally and one of the employee offered a free drink without us asking but the second employee said they will charge for it and was rude about it.

Delicious hot chocolate and traditional fondue!
I tried them in Vancouver for the first time, and the service was very friendly.
However, when I decided to buy something from their shop, I noticed what other reviews had mentioned — it feels like they use a different chocolate for the products they sell. And yes, that turned out to be true. I bought a cashew caramel in chocolate for $25, but it wasn’t good.
If you want to enjoy their chocolate, I’d recommend sticking to what they serve inside the café.

I’d come again if only to listen to the guy talk about the different kinds of chocolate they make & how they’re made. Incredibly knowledgeable and, for someone who works in customer service-which can be very hard sometimes- so in love with his job it’s amazing!
And just a cherry on top, roast your own s’mores is so much fun

I was searching for real hot chocolate in Vancouver, but unfortunately I still can’t find the kind we have in Europe. The hot chocolate here was good, but it didn’t have the real, rich European taste I was looking for. It wasn’t bad, and it was better than other places, but it still wasn’t the real hot chocolate.

Food was great. Had the Prawn and Chorizo Jambalaya. Had some heat 🔥👍🏻
Good selection of beers on tap. Enjoying dry-January and had a can of the Steamworks Hazy IPA. One of the better non-alcoholic beers I’ve had.
Location is convenient if you are taking the Sky train to Waterfront station. Then less than 20 minute walk to BC Place or Roger’s Arena… if going for a game 😉
Will be back!

I’ve walked past Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar in Waterfront Station so many times but never had the chance to try it until recently, when I received a gift card over Christmas. We decided to check it out on a Friday night, and I’m so glad we did.
The restaurant wasn’t very busy, with only a handful of tables filled, but honestly that made the experience even better. The vibe and atmosphere were really nice, modern, cozy, and relaxed and the service was excellent from start to finish.
We started with espresso martinis, which were a great way to kick things off. For food, we ordered the brisket arancini, vegan dumplings, fish tacos, and truffle fries to share, and everything was delicious. The flavors were on point, and each dish felt well thought out. For our next round of drinks, we tried the strawberry grapefruit margarita, which was amazing, easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while and definitely a standout.
For our main, we shared the brisket dinner, and it did not disappoint. The brisket was incredibly juicy and tender, the mashed potatoes were smooth and comforting, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the broccolini tied everything together perfectly. It was honestly such a satisfying dish that we didn’t even have room for dessert.
To finish the night, I had a sangria while my friend ordered the spiced margarita, both were excellent and a great way to end the meal.
Overall, I really loved this place. The food was amazing, the drinks were well crafted, the service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’m so happy I finally tried it after walking by so many times. Highly recommend!

Loved this place. The bibimbap was really good, full of flavor and super satisfying. The bulgogi sushi was amazing such a good combo and honestly addictive. And the takoyaki? Hands down the best I’ve had, crispy outside, soft inside, just perfect. The service made it even better. Our Korean server was so sweet and genuinely happy that we liked the food, you could tell it meant a lot to her. That kind of energy just makes the whole experience better. Would 100% come back.

We visited MOMO Sushi in Gastown—a cozy little spot just a 2-minute walk from Waterfront Station, with a cool interior design and a great location on Water Street. We ordered Bento Box B for $20.75, Bento Box D for $26.50, Box B came with tempura, karage, sunomono, nigiri, sashimi, California roll, and salad, while Box D included tempura, chicken teriyaki, sunomono, sashimi, nigiri, salad, and miso soup. Also seafood noodles, and a Vancouver Spider Roll, which is listed as soft shell crab with crabmeat, cucumber, avocado, tobiko, green onion, and unagi sauce for C$21.25. The best part: paying cash got us 5% off, which made the meal feel even better.

I recently visited Momo Sushi in Gastown, BC, and overall I had a really enjoyable experience. The location itself is great, right in the heart of Gastown, making it a convenient stop whether you’re exploring the area or just craving sushi. The restaurant has a nice, casual vibe and feels comfortable for both dine-in and takeout.
The highlight of my meal was definitely the Dynamite Roll. It was packed with flavor, crispy on the outside, and perfectly balanced with the spicy sauce. You could tell it was freshly made, and it ended up being one of the best dynamite rolls I’ve had in a while. The Godzilla Roll was also excellent — generous portions, great texture, and a really satisfying combination of ingredients. Both of these rolls alone made the visit worth it.
Unfortunately, the Unagi Roll was a letdown. It arrived noticeably cold, which really took away from the flavor and texture of the eel. Unagi is usually warm, soft, and slightly sweet, but this one tasted off and just wasn’t enjoyable at all. It stood out in a bad way compared to how good the other rolls were.
Service was decent and the food came out fairly quickly, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location.
Overall, Momo Sushi delivers some really strong rolls, especially the dynamite and Godzilla rolls. If they improve consistency on items like the unagi roll, this place could easily be a 5-star spot. I’d still come back and try more items from the menu.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere fits perfectly with the charm of Gastown.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend for anyone craving top notch sushi in the area!
