A nice place to slow down in the city.
TREES offers hot drinks in different sizes and various types of cheesecake.
The cappuccino was very good and large and the cheesecakes we tried (Oreo, Blueberry, Lime and Nuts) were very tasty and sweet. The atmosphere in the café is pleasant and quiet.

I love this Trees location. I was surprised on night when hubby and I wanted a late night snack that they were open until late with live music. Get the mango match smoothie, it's so yummy 😄.

Absolutely love this place for great coffee, delicious desserts, and the option to grab a quick bite! They always have something fresh like sandwiches and wraps, which makes it a perfect spot for a casual stop.
We had the Ham Swiss Croissant, Ham and Cheese Baguette, Oreo Cheesecake, and—of course—coffee. Everything was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. Highly recommend!

The server was very friendly the cafe was clean and welcoming. The Macha latte was not bad but not great, it didn't help that they only filled it up 3/4 of the way up, the rest was just foam, pricey for a 6 dollar drink. They have a few GF treats as well.

Been meaning to come here for a long time - always passing by and given the good reviews.
I was disappointed with the taro latte, but their cheese cakes were decent - did not quite meet our expectations though. Maybe their other drinks are much better and they do have interesting decor inside

A special cafe in Vancouver. We stopped by for desserts after dinner that night. Their ice cream flavors were really nice. We had a Cookies Cream ice cream and a White Chocolate Raspberry ice cream too. The flavors were really fresh and the staff was really nice. She was kind enough to give us a taster and helped us have a great dining experience there.

Tried the gelato at Trees Organic Coffee in Gastown and it was excellent. We had the black sesame and tiramisu flavors—both were rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The black sesame was perfectly balanced and unique, and the tiramisu was creamy and indulgent without being too sweet.
The lady at the counter was really nice and friendly. A great spot to stop for gelato while exploring Gastown. Would definitely recommend.

Trees Organic Coffee Gastown is super close to the Gastown Steam Clock, what a great spot! The place has a warm, cozy vibe, and the window seats make it perfect for chilling with friends or soaking up the local atmosphere. Sitting there enjoying your treats, the street view pairs beautifully with the soft lighting, and waiting for the Steam Clock’s hourly steam burst and chimes adds that extra bit of city charm.
We tried the tiramisu cake, tiramisu gelato, chocolate gelato, green tea gelato, and New York cheesecake, everything was awesome! The tiramisu cake is packed with rich, layered flavors; the tiramisu gelato is super smooth and tasty; the chocolate gelato is creamy and melt-in-your-mouth; the green tea gelato has a fresh, light tea flavor; and the New York cheesecake is just perfect with its cheesy goodness and silky texture. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver!

Trees Organic Coffee in Gastown is hands down one of my favorite spots for cheesecake in Vancouver, and their Tiramisu Cheesecake is an absolute standout. It’s rich and creamy with just the right balance of espresso and cocoa, layered perfectly without being overly sweet. The texture is smooth, decadent, and pairs beautifully with a cup of their fresh coffee.
The Gastown location itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a nice mix of locals and tourists—it’s the perfect place to relax with dessert after exploring the area. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere make the experience even better.
If you’re a cheesecake lover, you can’t miss this place.

A truly spectacular experience at the Top of Vancouver! We went up for their happy hour, and it was the perfect way to enjoy the city.
The main event is, of course, the view. The slow revolution of the restaurant provides an ever-changing, breathtaking panorama of Vancouver, the mountains, and the ocean. It creates a magical ambiance that you just can't get anywhere else.
We were very impressed with the happy hour drinks, which were excellent and a fantastic value. While we only planned on having drinks, we couldn't resist the chocolate hazelnut dessert, and it was absolutely amazing—rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet treat to enjoy with the stunning scenery.
The service was also top-notch; attentive, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience feel truly special. For an unforgettable view and a touch of elegance, Top of Vancouver is a must-do.

What a wonderful experience! The food and service were both extremely good, and the views were spectacular. I did think the dishes came a little slow (I was there for almost 2 hours eating alone) but other than that, I loved my experience.
Chris Jeffery - a week ago
First of all, you get views that is unique and thoroughly enjoyble, most likely you would end up in spending more than 50 minutes, enough to complete one full revolution of beautiful scenery around - and it covers what not - five stars of Hospitality, cathedral of Spirituality, mega offices of Commerce- banks, IT, logistics almost everything, Transport sector - long rail and road infrastructure, marine ships and passenger cruises, seaplanes and airliners landing, taking off in distance, civilian Infrastructure - water works, construction, Nature - land, sea, mighty mountains of Pacific coast, Wildlife - sea birds, even whale sprays if you are lucky. I love it and you would too.
Food is good, as expected but real gem is service, the lady who took care of my dining, not only helped me to order best possible for me, even helped to place my camera on table to make time lapse video by improvising the mount for camera. Her attention to my comfort and requirement of dining was complete. A big thanks to her.
Pricey somewhat but the location and views compensates for it. I visited from 3pm to 5m which was happy hour and not crowded. The lady at lift lobby at ground floor arranged for reservation there itself.
Highly recommend.

Dining at the top of a high skyscraper is a unique way to experience any city, and this one is no exception.
Metro Vancouver has neatly gridded suburbs to the south and east, stunning mountains and the harbour to the north, and the view west of this restaurant were an up-close glance at all the other glass towers that comprise the rest of downtown.
Over a dinner table set on 360 degree rotation (@ 1 hour per orbit), my wife and I enjoyed the sunset and the gradual transition between natural light fading out and the building lights switching on across the city neighbourhoods.
To maximise enjoyment of these surroundings, service was thoughtfully paced to let us linger between courses. Likewise, the menu items were all well-executed classics that complement the viewing experience rather than distract it. Part of what made this dinner great was that the restaurant balanced all of these components well.
We recommend you consider this spot if you have several hours to spare and have an occasion worth celebrating over good drinks and a good view.
Leo Huang - a month ago
Went for brunch with a friend on a Saturday at noon for something a little different. The view is of course the highlight of the meal with the slow revolution allowing full 360 degree views over 1 hour. We had a window seat and it was just spectacular.
For the brunch overall the meal was good as was the service, however bit short to earn 5 stars.
We ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, my self with toast on the side, and my friend with salad in place of the potato hash. The food arrived relatively timely but certainly not quickly. The restaurant was at most 30% full, so I thought service might be quicker.
The food was tasty, warm but not hot though. The toast came with butter but no jams were included.
Service was okay, but not stellar. My friend ordered a Latte, and it took almost 15 minutes to arrive. Little things such as no offering jams for the toast, or offering to refill hot water in teapot are things that separates good from great service, especially given the cost for a brunch being over $100 for 2.
Aside from the view, I am not sure I would return for brunch, but might try dinner to see the night sky sometime.

I've done the tasting menu a couple of times at Five Sails, always an incredible experience! Amazing view, spectacular service, and the menu is always inventive.
I particularly enjoyed the most recent tasting menu this November. I liked the touch of putting the inspiration vegetable on the table before each serving! Chef Alex Kim has outdone himself with this one.
Kei really did an exceptional job with the sommelier signature pairing this time as well, they were all very unique and interesting to match the course, as well as tasting amazing.
Can't forget Martina! She has served me both times and did an exceptional job of explaining the courses and zipping in and out as needed. What a lovely person!
Thank you for the exceptional experience, and can't wait for the next menu!

My boyfriend took me here for our four year anniversary and we had an amazing time! Jesse was a fantastic server and we want to thank him for answering all of our questions and giving the recommendations! Thanks also to Alex Kim for curating such a delicious menu and preparing each dish so tastefully!
We got to start off the dinner with a dungness crab custard and sweet bread along with our mocktails. Our appetizers consisted of the asparagus and scallop which were both delicious, the addition of nuts + pineapple with the asparagus and the cornball for scallops was amazing! Our mains followed (sablefish + wagyu), I loved the glaze on the sablefish but the wagyu will be remembered - buttery, soft, melts right in your mouth... To end it all, we had a delicious honeycomb cake!
We didn't even realize how late we stayed until we checked the time and saw the restaurant was getting ready for closing. I appreciate not being rushed out either, we really enjoyed our moment here and I'm so happy we came!

I wanted to Celebrate my Partners Birthday here.
From the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the wonderful Host. The Manager Ellie and the Sommelier Sara greeted us and welcomed us to our table. Great Start to a wonderful experience.
Jesse took care of us the whole time. He recommended the Sea Bass which was divine.
Annika, Ofelia, and Remi were very knowledgeable and explained the dishes as they brought them out.
Antonio the Bartender and his creation on the cocktails. Great cocktails.
Chef Alex Kim menu this fall season is wonderful.
I always recommend people go to Five Sail.
Five Sails deserves a Michelin Star!!!
Thank you everyone at Five Sails for the Amazing Experience!!!

Some fantastic vibes, this place has got. The place has got some seriously well thought out decor and menus. It was a journey going through the menu and just looking around the place and the people. Oh and the smells! The cheeseburger randomly spawned at the table next to us and the aromas practically forced us to order one. The drinks were well made and came in fun glassware too!

My husband and I had a fantastic evening here. The Cuban cocktails were top-notch, as was the Cuban sandwich (it had another name on the menu, but I can't remember it). I just have to thank the cameraman for his great service, and the chef and bartender; they did an excellent job. This is coming from a Cuban who loved spending a little time on her beautiful island. Also, thank you for the music. 🥰

Came here for happy hour before a show. We decided to come here because of the good reviews, but was disappointed.
We had:
Single Smash Burgers ($10) -The phots that we saw, looked nothing like the ones we had. The one we had reminded me of a McDonald's cheeseburger, so I'm a bit confused as to someone saying it was the best burger they had. Although I'm not too sure if the happy hour burger may be completely different from the burger on their regular menu.
Truffle Tots ($12) - Super cheesy and quite the Truffle taste on the cheese.
Beef Tartare ($16) - This was not part of the happy hour menu, but it was worth a try for us. The beef was diced in bigger chunks, but rather bland.

I often come to Gastown in search of good food, and usually I’m never disappointed — but this time was the exception. We were just looking for a quick bite before heading downtown to catch a musical. The food was… okay, nothing too exciting. The burger ranked somewhere between McDonald’s and A&W. Maybe this place is more about the drinks than the food. Either way, it did the job of filling us up!

Whenever I walk from Yaletown to Canada Place I pass this chocolate and hot chocolate café, and since I have a serious sweet tooth I finally went in to try it. I am very picky about hot chocolate and I love it thick, creamy, and rich. This one was exactly the way I like it. The temperature was spot on and it stayed hot during my walk. It made the whole stroll to Canada Place even more enjoyable. The staff were genuinely friendly and made the visit feel warm and welcoming. I would give them the best rating and I would definitely go back again.

I was searching for real hot chocolate in Vancouver, but unfortunately I still can’t find the kind we have in Europe. The hot chocolate here was good, but it didn’t have the real, rich European taste I was looking for. It wasn’t bad, and it was better than other places, but it still wasn’t the real hot chocolate.

It is the first time I came to the coffee shop & my latte was really good! The taste is very smooth and the foam was nice too! Good balance of flavors. You have seats inside and outside which is excellent and many options and pastries to choose. Nice to try again. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 starts is because the cashier didn’t ask how are you doing? Or at least be a bit happy, Imhotep he is ok. The Korean who prepare my coffee was so nice, she say hi, she smile, and she had a better ‘mood and customer service!! Nice for her!! If you are close to waterfront, it will be a good opportunity to try this place! Prices are balance with the food you received!

Delicious hot chocolate and traditional fondue!
I tried them in Vancouver for the first time, and the service was very friendly.
However, when I decided to buy something from their shop, I noticed what other reviews had mentioned — it feels like they use a different chocolate for the products they sell. And yes, that turned out to be true. I bought a cashew caramel in chocolate for $25, but it wasn’t good.
If you want to enjoy their chocolate, I’d recommend sticking to what they serve inside the café.

For those seeking a restaurant where you don't have to stray too far from a skytrain station, Rogue is your place. It is literally situated as part of Waterfront Station so you can dine and dash with ease.
An impressive eatery just in terms of the sheer size of the restaurant, Rogue can certainly accommodate quite a few customers.
I was surprised to see such opulent decor; the chandeliers are a sight to behold and the floor to ceiling curtains harken back to theater ones. It's almost too classy for a place that serves relatively mainstream offerings in the form of burgers, standard appetizers and the requisite plant based items. There are also drinks galore on offer, for you drink enthusiasts out there.
This is one of the only places I've seen which offer Tomato Soup, so I definitely jumped on it. It wasn't spectacular but it did the job in quelling my tomato soup craving.
They unfortunately discontinued my favorite Lobster Mac and Cheese dish, so I was torn between the Salmon Risotto and the Steak Frites. The latter won out.
I totally surrendered to the Steak and was very glad I did. It was so tender, and the demi glace was a tasty compliment. I appreciate that the side item was beans since asparagus is overdone to death. And I swapped out truffle fries for yam fries, which had an interesting kick of an aioli sauce to go with it.
I haven't been to this location in ages so I was pleased that the quality hadn't diminished.
If you feel like going Rogue on your usual eateries, head over here.

The food? Seriously good and every bite was a win. And the beers? We were feeling adventurous and asked for something sour. The server’s recommendations were top-notch; she clearly knew her stuff and steered us right. A real highlight.
Now, here’s the "but," and it's a real shame... the cleanliness needs a major step up. Our first small plate came out with a bit of grime on it. We politely asked for a new one, and the replacement was in the same condition. Then, my Aperol Spritz glass arrived with a little something stuck on the rim, the stem was so sticky it was leaking, and it left a ring on the menu. We ended up just not using the second plate and I drank my cocktail with a straw to avoid making another fuss. Since our waitress was so lovely and busy, we didn't want to trouble her a third plate replacement.
Final verdict? I’ll definitely be back for those flavors and that stellar beer advice. But I’ll be crossing my fingers that they’ve tightened up the ops in the back because this spot is too good to be let down by something so basic.

We had the salmon rissotto , it was very good. A very well balanced pallate of flavours , each bite was bursting with ingredients. Couldn't stop being surprised how well it tasted. The grilled sirloin dish was average. It didn't really stand out. The mashed potatoes were good , the broccoli was just a bit too hard or undercooked. I did order a rare steak and it came very chewy and had to put some effort into cutting it up. Maybe next time I'll try a medium. The servers were good and nice. Very attentive and did a good amount of rounds checking in with us. This is one of our go to spots.

Classic, iconic, and undeniablely delicious Vancouver sushi, one of the best around the area. It's busy so make a reso if you want to eat inside (peak times).
Otherwise you can order takeout and eat it right outside in their takeout dinning area! (If there's room, first come first serve).
Again.... One of the top sushi gems in the area and the price point is on par for value. Well done and thank you 👌✅😊

Recommended by a flight attendant my husband and I came to Momo sushi and had an incredible dinner. We shared three rules, the baked molten rock ‘n’ roll, the Godzilla roll, and the king dragon roll. All of the sushi were incredibly fresh, lots of filling with the right amount of rice. The Godzilla Roll was a 10, the torched salmon was over the top and has given me a new appreciation for the art of sushi. We have found our new sushi place!!!
