3 Star Rating Been meaning to come here for a long time - always passing by and given the good reviews. I was disappointed with the taro latte, but their cheese cakes were decent - did not quite meet our expectations though. Maybe their other drinks are much better and they do have interesting decor inside

5 Star Rating I tried the Tora Latte at Trees Coffee for the first time, and it was fantastic! The flavor was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—definitely a unique twist on the traditional latte. The coffee shop itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy this drink again!

5 Star Rating Came here for a work dinner and the experience was excellent. Carlos, our host and server, was excellent. He's respectful, knowledgeable and attentive. He definitely provides top tier service. The atmosphere of the basement eating area was casual but elegant at the same time. The wood beams supporting the ceiling plus the paintings adorning the walls were a great combination. The food was great as well. The bread was your normal bread that you get but it's a great precursor to what was to come. I got the lentil and vegetable soup. That soup was delicious and the pepper added that necessary bite. The veal lasagna was great as well. Sadly, the veal was lost in the lasagna and didn't seem to add much but as a pasta it was delicious. I do recommend having it with parmesan when offered. The saltiness of the cheese complements the tangy tomato sauce very well. Lastly, the chocolate ganache tort is probably my favourite part of the meal. The chocolate was sweet but not too sweet. The ganache was thick and creamy. That dessert will definitely be my go-to when I visit. Overall, the experience was top tier with excellent food and a great server.

4 Star Rating Excellent place for some authentic Italian food! We came here on a Sunday night which wasn’t busy as we were expecting it to be – however, we didn’t mind a quiet dinner. Nonetheless, our service and meals were top-notch, and would definitely return here for the next Vancouver trip. Only knocked off a star because we ordered a tiramisu for dessert for $10.95CAD and were very disappointed that we didn’t even get a whole slice. Not sure how their other desserts go, but I would definitely recommend asking how small/big portions are to make sure you get your money’s worth.

5 Star Rating I came here to celebrate with my friend. I've been craving a good Italian linguine pescatore since I left calgary & had lots at Buon Giorno on 17th Ave & this placed delivered. Amazing experience, Sixto our server was very helpful in answering all our questions & making our experience memorable. I'll be back with more friends. My only complaint is the affogato, I always thought it was served coffee style in a tea cup. Overall, great experience

5 Star Rating It was a little while ago since we went, but the experience was unforgettable. It turns faster than the CN Tower restaurant which we liked, you simply don't get bored of the view. The service is just what we expected in Vancouver, excellent. And the food was easily as good as any decent restaurant we'd visited while there, but at reasonable prices. We were lucky enough to bag a seat right by the window too, so the experience was better still. If I ever get to Vancouver again, I'd definitely visit Vancouver Revolving Restaurant again.

5 Star Rating Dining at Top of Vancouver was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were mesmerized by the stunning panoramic views of the city, ocean, and mountains. The revolving feature added a unique charm, allowing us to take in Vancouver’s beauty from every angle. We ordered Bernie’s pasta and the lamb shank, both of which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, the presentation was elegant, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The lamb shank was tender and flavorful, while the pasta had the perfect balance of texture and taste. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring we had a seamless dining experience. However, the only small critique was that they seemed a bit in a hurry to turn over the table, even though it was around 9 PM and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. It felt a bit rushed, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the night. With phenomenal views, high-quality food, and excellent service, Top of Vancouver is a must-visit. Our bill came to around $140, and it was absolutely worth it for the experience. Highly recommended for a special night out!

5 Star Rating Review for Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Top of Vancouver, and it was an unforgettable experience! Mehrzad surprised me with this beautiful dinner, and everything—from the breathtaking 360° view to the elegant ambiance—was perfect. The service was attentive and professional, making the night even more special. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and complemented by a great selection of drinks. The slow rotation of the restaurant gave us a chance to enjoy stunning views of the city skyline. It’s definitely a place worth visiting for a romantic or special occasion.

5 Star Rating Had a wonderful afternoon tea experience with my friends here. It was our first time and we’re impressed. Highlights Great views- we had a window seat Good ambience - quiet atmosphere and great for chatting Good food - the pastries and items were so delicately made and delicious; you can tell a lot of thought and love were put into making them. I didn’t find anything too overly sweet; flavours were well balanced and rich. The buns were wrapped to keep warm and the chantilly cream was so good. Service was great, though in the beginning we had to ask our tea to be filled a couple times. Later on the servers came to check to see if we needed more hot water. We were running late but the host was very understanding and kept our seats; it wasn’t too busy at the time. They let us stay for as long as we like! Whereas other places we’ve been gave us 1.5-2 hrs dining time for afternoon tea and it felt a bit rushed especially when it takes time to select tea and for the pastries to arrive. This was amazing - we were so grateful to be able to sit and catchup; we ended up staying for 3 hrs lol. My only suggestion is for the teapots and cups to be a little fancier to match the afternoon tea theme, but no biggie. The tea selection and itself was great. Also, it was bright when we started dining at 2pm, so wait a bit later or bring some shades if you are sensitive. All in all, loved it and can’t wait to come back🥰 Thanks for the great experience!

4 Star Rating We came to Five Sails to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The waterfront and mountain views were absolutely stunning, setting the perfect scene for a special evening. The food was Michelin-level – we had beef tartare to start, followed by filet mignon and lamb loin. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service was attentive and professional, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which made us feel special. The price was fair for the quality and overall experience. A couple of things could be improved: we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, even though we arrived exactly on time for our reservation. Also, the music didn’t quite match the elegant setting – a more classic lounge vibe would be more fitting. That said, the volume was just right and didn’t interfere with conversation.

5 Star Rating My partner and I celebrated our 3yr Anniversary and they made it Extra Special and memorable. Foods are on-point and delicious. Service is great and they explained each food very well. Ambiance is so relaxing especially they gave us the table with a nice view. My partner was craving to salad but there’s nothing on the menu so I asked if they have it available. Esther went to the kitchen to confirm with the chef and they made it possible. My partner was so happy. I’d like to acknowledge the Restaurant Director Alex, our waitress Esther who goes above and beyond - not sure where she’s getting her energy, Chris, the receptionist who called and confirmed my reservation forgot her name but she greeted us gracefully when my partner and I came in, and the Chefs for the job well done. Great job! 👏🏻 We will surely be coming back.

5 Star Rating I proposed to my girlfriend at Five Sails and it was simply perfect. I cannot thank the amazing staff for the most important night of my life. Tatiana, Chef Daria, Chef Wong, Becca, Ellis, and the Five Sails team were exceptional. I booked the private room at Five Sails and they were incredibly communicative and ensured all details were covered. Their event manager Tatiana treated me professionally and was well experienced in planning the event. Tatiana made sure we touched base often and ensured everything was on track with open lines of communication. The private room, despite having an unobstructed view of the sunset, having adequate space for decorations, and sectioned off from the rest of the tables, was very reasonably priced and the most worthwhile private room in Vancouver in my opinion. The private room is truly one of a kind. Their tasting menu and wine selection was diverse, exquisite, and innovative. Chef Wong did a superb job with each delicately crafted dish, especially the Lamb Trio and the Uni. He even created off-menu items and each one blew us away. Chef Daria’s signature apple dessert is my favorite desert in Vancouver and cracking it open never disappoints. It is so special to me and my partner that I even hid my ring inside it. Becca, Ellis, and the rest of the service team went above and beyond to execute the proposal and did their absolute best to accommodate my every request. Without their help, I would not be able to pull off this surprise. They coordinated with my decorating company flawlessly. Their service on the actual night was exceptional, with great recommendations, guidance, and execution. For all the reasons above is why I believe Five Sails is truly special, a must try for any special events, and cannot recommend it enough. It goes without saying that I will be back.

5 Star Rating I was there a few days ago for my birthday celebration, and it was the best choice I made! The view and food were genuinely amazing, but what truly impressed me was the service. Alex Kim came to explain the dishes, and I felt very welcomed. 5 Star Rating This is one of my go-to spots for drinks and food in Gastown. They always have top notch cocktails that are well made. I quite enjoyed the Amaro Iced Tea as it was herbaceous and delicious. They have a generous happy hour menu as well, with their classic food items and discount on drinks. The taters are one of my favourites and they make a pretty good burger. They also have live music on certain nights. It can get quite busy, so make sure you go earlier or book in advance. Overall, a solid joint for good drinks and food, any time of night.

5 Star Rating Do you like meat? This place does! The food menu isn’t huge but everything on it is tempting. The drinks menu however is extensive, living up to their name. The scotch egg and the tots are both musts—so delicious, and where else can you get a perfect scotch egg? I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and lightness of the crispy portobello burger, which was not too spicy. The others in my group had burgers, and they are thick and juicy! The Pourhouse burger is celebrated in reviews, and by our waitress; we found the first half is amazing but by the second half it’s bringing on the meat-sweats. You also shouldn’t pass up the crispy chicken starter/snack. The fries are really good, but honestly, swap them out for the salads—they were exceptional! The atmosphere is chill and very Vancouver, and we loved watching the kitchen from where we were seated. Our server Maddy was amazing—helpful, attentive, funny, and down to earth and enjoyed our banter. I would totally recommend.

4 Star Rating This is only to review happy hour which is 3-5pm. Won't mind coming back but nothing special. There are other places for happy hour that are better. They are famous for their scotch egg which was a nice snack to have. Their meatballs were good butwish there were some more cheese and basil to enhance the favor. Truffle tots were not as great as last time we had it. Maybe less truffle this time ? Smash burger was ok but could have presented better. We went on a weekend so it wasn't too busy. Can have decent conversations without yelling at each other.

5 Star Rating 5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Jordan! I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jordan at the Pourhouse bar, and I can confidently say he made our night. From the moment we sat down, Jordan was welcoming, knowledgeable, and had a genuine passion for what he does. His recommendation of the Nikka Whisky Flight was spot-on — a perfect introduction to Japanese whisky with smooth, complex notes that paired beautifully with the vibe of the bar. Jordan also went the extra mile by comping an item — a small gesture that made a big impact. It’s clear he cares about guests having a memorable experience. His energy, professionalism, and charisma were truly next level. If you’re at Pourhouse, ask for Jordan — you’ll be in excellent hands. Can’t wait to come back!

5 Star Rating We stopped by here before seeing Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with the VSO at the Orpheum. This is such a cool space to hang out in and I always like eating here. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger as I love mushrooms and cheese with my burger. The meat was great, lots of fresh veggies, gooey cheese, lots of mushrooms so a perfect, messy burger! The fries were very crispy and thick, they went nicely with the burger. My wife ordered the Korean Chicken Tacos with fried battered chicken, crispy cabbage, pickled red onion, chipotle aioli & pico de gallo. It was beautifully presented, so colourful and tasted even better! Our older son ordered the Bacon Cheddar Smash Burger with double smoked bacon and sharp cheddar which he loved along with the crispy fries! Our younger son ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a spicy breaded chicken thigh, some jalapeño ranch slaw and fresh veggies. He loves a good crispy chicken sandwich and this one fit the bill! Our older son had a pint of Lions Gate Lager, my wife had a 9oz glass of Merlot, I had a Banditry Raspberry Lemon draft cider and our youngest son had a Sprite. The drinks all went nicely with our meals. It was a great culinary experience before the performance. Amanda our server was great and made us feel very welcome! We would definitely eat here again!

5 Star Rating Recommended by a flight attendant my husband and I came to Momo sushi and had an incredible dinner. We shared three rules, the baked molten rock ‘n’ roll, the Godzilla roll, and the king dragon roll. All of the sushi were incredibly fresh, lots of filling with the right amount of rice. The Godzilla Roll was a 10, the torched salmon was over the top and has given me a new appreciation for the art of sushi. We have found our new sushi place!!!

5 Star Rating I had the Signature Shokai, and it was a truly memorable dining experience. Each course was thoughtfully crafted, highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients with beautiful presentation. The flavors were well-balanced and refined; nothing felt overpowering or underwhelming. It’s the kind of meal that feels both luxurious and comforting at the same time. If you’re in downtown Vancouver and looking for a special culinary experience, Miku is a must-visit.

5 Star Rating I celebrated my bday here and it was one of the best dining experiences. First of all our server was very knowledgeable. He made our ordering very easy. The food was fantastic. I’ve been to many omakase/multiple michelin stars- (also I’m from NYC lol)- and this place is def top 10 for me. Everything was fresh and delicious. Cannot wait to go back!

4 Star Rating A great fancy team dinner spot very close to Canada place. Huge seating area indoor with tasteful design of Japanese themed interiors. Service is lovely, you'll be sure have your drinks refilled timely and without feeling rushed despite the timed seating. A good selection of vegetarian options - the truffle ravioli is to die for! The cocktails, especially the Japanese themed with fruit and Umeshu collection is a must. If you love caviar, you have plenty of options to choose from. Definitely not easy on the wallet, but you know that walking into the restaurant. A good spot for celebrations and well you want to feel a little fancy :).

4 Star Rating An incredible culinary experience, just missing a little silence Dinner at Miku was truly exceptional — the quality of the fish served was absolutely outstanding. Every piece felt like a masterclass in balance and flavor, with delicate textures and perfectly measured techniques. It was one of the best sushi/fusion experiences we’ve ever had. One dish had perhaps a touch too much yuzu for our taste, but that’s really nitpicking — overall, everything was sublime. If we had one suggestion to make, it would be about the noise level. The space is lively and energetic, which suits some diners well, but for a dinner as refined as this one, a slightly more serene acoustic atmosphere would truly elevate the experience from excellent to unforgettable. Still, Miku delivered on all fronts — service, creativity, and sheer quality. A must-visit in Vancouver.

5 Star Rating Who can ask for more? We come here every time we’re in Vancouver. Great waterfront views, fantastic food quality & presentation, excellent service from Cameron & the presentation crew. This visit we had 1 Miku Kaiseki & 1 Waterfront Kaiseke fixed price menu. We were impressed & stuffed! Had to box my fave Aburi Sushi! Pricey but well worth every penny from the original providers of Aburi sushi! Much better than Miku Toronto. Thank you Miku Vancouver!! We’ll be back!
