4 Star Rating A great vibe, right in the heart of Vancouver. There's a lot to like about this spot. The staff are friendly, the cheesecake it great and it's an all around classy sort of place to be. I sat by the window and people watched for a while, and had a wonderful time. On the down side, it's a little pricey and there aren't many power outlets. But overall I'd highly recommend Trees organic coffee.

5 Star Rating Food, wine, and service from Carlos was excellent. We went for the early dinner special 3-courses meal either $45/$55/$65 per person from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The ambiance is very warm and romantic. Very romantic date spot in Vancouver.

5 Star Rating This place is so cute! And they have amazing deals at lunchtime. You can get a salad and a soup to start, plus a pizza, pasta, or risotto as the main for 24-27$ A bread basket with oil and vinegar is also included. Everything was tasty and the portions were big. PS: Ask them about the card stuck to the ceiling :D

2 Star Rating Really wasn’t impressed by this place, where we were declined the entry during an other of our work trip in Vancouver. This time they did let us in, it was around 16h-17h, so the place was empty, we were the only client and let me tell you this place was dirty. The top of each window was full of thick dust. They placed us all the way in the back of the restaurant next to a window in a room, it was freezing so they had that little heater that wasn’t working next to our table. The place was dusty in general, too bad because the place is really cute, also wasn’t impress at all by the food, I don’t know if it’s because my family is Italian and I get to eat good authentic Italian food at home that I am more picky but it was nothing special.

5 Star Rating We visited with a party of seven, including two kids, and made a reservation for weekday lunch. The restaurant efficiently seated us upon arrival, and the server/waitress was exceptionally kind. Opting for the lunch special, we were delighted with the fantastic offering that included a Caesar salad and soup and a choice of pasta/risotto or pizza. Every dish tasted amazing, and the entire family wanted to visit again. Worth the experience.

2 Star Rating I had high hopes coming here because of reviews. We came for Valentine’s Day and the night started of good. Our server was a little busy, but our appetizers were good. Then the mains came, and I was very disappointed and so were my in-laws. Both our steaks were severely undercooked. Mine was supposed to be medium rare and it was just seared on each side and taken off. The steak lacked seasoning and relied too heavily on the peppercorn sauce, and the potato’s were also bland. Even if I wanted to complain about the temperature of my steak, I couldn’t because our server wasn’t around. The dessert was good, but I’d say the highlight of the meal was the free bread with oil and balsamic. Not a place on my list to visit again.

5 Star Rating Definitely a unique experience! It was my first time at a revolving restaurant, and it was truly delightful. The view is stunning; even before arriving, the elevator ride offers a unique glimpse, setting the stage for a great experience. The ladies at the entrance were exceptionally friendly, always smiling and attentive. Once seated, it was impressively quick to have water and begin the experience. The happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. offers excellent dishes with a fantastic city view. We chatted and savored the view while enjoying a delicious sangria. We topped off our meal with some steamed mussels, leaving us excited to return. If you're looking for a memorable view at an affordable cost, the happy hour is a must for this experience!

4 Star Rating Tourists paid money to go to the observation deck below the restaurant. They could easily just come to the restaurant, grab lunch and/or dinner while it slowly revolves (take about 50 min per revolution). I was here during Christmas time - just ordered from the regular menu vs the seasonal special (or buffet). Can't beat the view and the service is good. Menu is fairly limited. The food is good but not exceptional. The price is not overly expensive considering the ambiance. Definitely a good place to bring your special someone to celebrate and enjoy the incredible view of Metro Vancouver.

The food and the drinks are amazing and i have nothing but great things to say about the staff and their service. Definitely try their Truffle cheese toast, it was devine. We were there for an hour and the restaurant rotated 360° which was nice. Didn’t get motion sickness at all. The views are pretty amazing, being seated next to the window was the best option. 4 Star Rating Small place, bar/kitchen as soon as you enter, small seating area in the back for approximately 12-15 diners with bar counter seating for additional 10 diners. Mexican music in the background, dark with exposed brick walls Pork belly taco, pork was crispy and juicy Chicken enchilada plate was filling, 2 enchiladas covered with queso, red sauce and pickled onions which gave the dish another flavor dimension Shrimp was succulent but could have used a little more flavor. The Verde sauce with the fried cheese taco was excellent with a very strong flavor profile. Both desserts were done perfectly, empanada was sugary, light and flaky. The lemon ice cream cake was a gift from heaven. A nice neighborhood mom & pop establishment that should not be ignored

5 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of trying some of the best tacos in Vancouver at this place! I sampled their Asada, Camarones, and Baja tacos, all of which were delicious. I also tried their Asada burrito, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The prices are quite reasonable, offering great value for money. Keep in mind that they have a small dining area, so there might be a wait during peak hours. Alternatively, you can always opt for takeout to enjoy their fantastic food without any delay.

4 Star Rating Great place we got seated quickly and our server was great. The prawns with focaccia were great however the Pourhouse Burger needs a little bit of acidity and freshness as the meatiness and fat are overpowering. The music was a tad loud so I would suggest lowering it for guests to have an easier time conversing. Overall a good experience.

5 Star Rating This place is absolutely incredible. First of all the scotch egg was delicious (my first time trying one.) and then I was utterly delighted ordering the burger and being asked how iw anted it cooked. It is absolutely ridiculous you are not order your burgers medium rare in most places in Canada but this place is allowed to (I believe because they manage in Thier own beef) The burger quality showed. Cooked a perfect medium rare and absolutely delicious. Great vibes here. Great service. A wonderful gem.

5 Star Rating Great happy hour in gastown! Cocktails are solid here - I got the gimlet and my friend got the Tom Collins. Both taste great. For food, we shared the truffle tater tots and the fried chicken. The tots have a great crunch and the sauce is tasty. Fried chicken came out nice and hot. Love the honey butter. Wish there were a pickle for each piece of chicken but the pickled onions added a great element too. Lastly, we got a smash burger each and it was solid. Came a little cold though - but sauce and taste was there.

3 Star Rating Mink Chocolates Cafe is located in a great location right near the waterfront. They serve a variety of chocolate beverages as well as they have chocolates for purchase. It took a while for me to order my drink because the ladies in front of me were picking eating chocolates and there was only one man working behind the counter. I ordered the iced chocolate and sat outside to drink it. The iced chocolate was very average, more milk than chocolate. It was more of a milk shake than an iced chocolate and it was quite disappointing. There are seatings both within and outside of the cafe.

3 Star Rating Ordered takeout. Steak peanut bowl + apple dessert. When I arrived I noticed that my order was at the bar by some hot lights. I asked if the ice cream for the apple dessert was melted and it was. Took 10 minutes to get another scoop of ice cream. Staff apologized. I noticed that the place was more than half empty on a Saturday night. Staff didn’t smile & looked unimpressed. Very loud. I had asked for NO green onions. When I got back to my hotel and opened my meal- it was covered in green onions. Thankfully the steak was separated from the bowl so I ate that even though it had no flavour. Lastly, there were no peanuts and no peanut taste to the sauce. Not sure why peanut is in the name. Apple dessert was good but not enough ice cream was given. *Sigh

5 Star Rating We'd just finished a Fly Over show and were looking for dinner – Rogue was a GREAT choice. 3 of us split 4 appies, and each of them was delicious. I'm guessing we could've picked any appy and been equally happy – I got the impression that everything leaving the kitchen is something they're proud of and would eat themselves. We shared the truffle fries, brussels sprouts, margherita flatbread, and gyoza, and I'd go back for any of them again. The service was also excellent and friendly, and the atmosphere the kind of casual upscale you look forward to sharing with friends or family. We'll definitely be back.

The buns and scones were served warm with truffle butter, Chantilly cream and fresh compote. The tea was top notch, with the service being very attentive. We never needed to ask to have our hot water filled. The ambience was very well thought out with pink and white flowers on the table to sakura blossoms hanging from the ceiling. Everything was beautiful and tasted amazing. I can't pick a favorite because everything tasted great. 🥰 Will definitely return.

5 Star Rating My husband and kids surprised me with a Birthday dinner at Five Sails; It was our first time there and, my goodness, was it an amazing experience. Personally, due to growing mediocre dining experiences in the last two years or so, I was starting to give up on dining out; however, due to Five Sails' exemplary service, excellent meal presentation and most delicious courses I had in quite a few years, my hope has been fully restored - in all honesty. Kudos to the entire Five Sails team from Jan. 19, 2024 - you represent the pillar of dining industry. I, for one, would not be surprised to see - in the very near future - a fifth diamond added to your rating as you present a distinctive, world-class service. Thank you for taking care of my family like it was your own - we shall see you very soon.

I did not think it was “stuffy.” I like to dine at different fine dining and Michelin restaurants so yeah this isn’t what you call stuffy. We went awhile ago so I’m not going to post pictures of what I ordered since it’s not on the current menu. I did order foie gras and king lobster for appetizer, grand marnier duck breast, and a chocolate symphony dessert. I will post pictures of the amuse bouche and sorbets and fruits dessert. Everything that I ate was very palatable and by the end I was full. The portions for that I ordered were sufficient. We found parking nearby.
