  • Variety of Themes: With multiple rooms offering different stories, difficulty levels, and aesthetics, there's a challenge for every group.

What to Expect

Imagine being trapped in an unfamiliar place. You and your team will have a set amount of time (usually 50-60 minutes) to find clues, solve riddles, and unlock secrets to find your way out. Each room is a different scenario, from ancient tombs to high-tech labs, designed to challenge your wits and teamwork.

EXIT Richmond Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 Star Rating

2 Star Rating Disappointed by service but appreciate one staff member’s kindness!! My partner and I booked both the Anger Room and an escape room experience. Unfortunately, our visit didn’t go as smoothly as we hoped. We tried calling ahead several times to let the staff know we were running late due to rush hour traffic. The first two calls went unanswered, and on the third try, a lady finally picked up. Her response was a dismissive “You’re gonna be late? sigh OK,” before hanging up mid-conversation while we were still speaking — which immediately left a poor impression. When we arrived, the same staff member seemed rushed and uninterested, even though there were no other bookings after us. She went through the instructions quickly, didn’t give us time to ask questions, and skipped the introductory video for the escape room entirely. Her attitude made the experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. During the escape room, one of the necessary tools was stuck behind a drawer and appeared to be malfunctioning, preventing us from progressing. We mentioned it afterward, but the same staff member only said “sorry” and didn’t make any effort to address the issue. Thankfully, a male staff member who had just started his shift noticed we were unhappy and took the time to listen and apologize sincerely. He even offered us two complimentary tickets for another game, which was very kind and appreciated — even though the issue wasn’t his fault. Overall, our experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional attitude and lack of care from the initial staff member. However, I truly appreciate the male staff’s understanding and professionalism in how he handled the situation.

5 Star Rating Went here a couple wweks ago with my friends for a fun day out. Since it was our first ever escape room the workers recommended doing The Curse, and we found it was the perfect level of difficulty, even stumping us at one point due to misremember facts. Everyone there was super nice and helpful, the clue system worked great, and instructions were clear and deductive. 10/10 experience and I can't wait to go back!

5 Star Rating The experience was amazing! We had so much fun. I’d just recommend going with more than five friends if you choose a level-4 difficulty game.

5 Star Rating Had a great time at this escape room! Megan was really helpful and the mystery was fun, challenging, and kept us engaged from start to finish. The clues were creative, and the atmosphere made the experience even more exciting. Highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys puzzles, teamwork, and solving mysteries!
