out of 5 I was pleasantly surprised at how much there is to see here! This is a little known place that I could easily spend hours exploring with the vast range of life samples from almost every era of life development on Earth. It's also less expensive than more popular places like Science World and the backorder Aquarium. They also have an interactive area for kids of all ages. I highly recommend taking the family here for an interesting and educational afternoon.

An incredible experience, showcasing over 2 million species. The highlight was undoubtedly the Vale sculpture and the captivating documentary detailing its discovery and journey to the museum. The ticket is only $14, it definitely worth more than that

Good size museum with the main attraction being the big whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling. There is a screening room playing how they got the whale skeleton into the museum and all the preparation work to hang it from the ceiling which was pretty fascinating. Downstairs, there is also a bunch of specimen and taxidermies of animals. The aisles are a bit narrow though. Really fun to visit and learn about different animals and fungi. Easy access for people with disabilities using elevator or ramp.

It's a small museum, but very interesting, the people working there are so nice and knowledgeable, there are specimens that you are allowed to touch!

If you are a little squemish about dead animals I would definitely not come here. There are a bunch of skeletons and taxidermied animals to look at, behind glass and in jars as well as plants and fossils. There is some truly beautiful art on display and a really helpful and friendly staff to assist you with anything you need.
