Brentwood Mall: A Transformative Shopping Experience in Burnaby

Brentwood Mall, once a medium-sized shopping center, is undergoing a significant transformation, poised to become a vibrant urban hub. As Burnaby's 3rd largest mall, it currently offers approximately 100 shops, services and dining options including the renovated food court overlooking the Millennium SkyTrain Line.
Redevelopment Plans
The mall and its surrounding area are undergoing a major redevelopment initiative. This includes the construction of three residential skyscrapers, featuring a large common outdoor plaza and pedestrian boulevards adorned with boutique shops and cafés. The redevelopment aims to introduce a plethora of new stores, fine dining establishments, cinemas, and other amenities. The planned outdoor plaza and park area will serve as a social gathering space, hosting frequent festivals and entertainment events.
Convenient Access by Transit
Access to Brentwood Mall via public transit is convenient, with a covered walkway connecting to Brentwood SkyTrain Station on the Millennium Line, enhancing connectivity for shoppers and visitors.
Anchor Stores and New Additions
While undergoing redevelopment, Brentwood Mall continues to offer anchor stores such as London Drugs, H&M, L.L.Bean and Urban Outfitters. New anchor stores and retailers are expected to join the mall as the redevelopment and transformation continues, enriching the shopping experience for visitors.
Stay tuned for further updates as Brentwood Mall's redevelopment progresses, promising to redefine the shopping and social landscape of Burnaby.

Great place with a vibe to eat, shop, and be entertained. Paid parking unfortunately, but some businesses offer limited free parking. At this time the mall is smaller than the original. Brentwood Skytrain entrance is part of the mall. #Burnaby

The open-air layout makes shopping feel relaxed and enjoyable, and the variety of stores is incredible. I found amazing deals on top brands, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. The walkways were clean, the seating areas were convenient. Whether you're looking for fashion, accessories, or home goods, this place has it all. A perfect spot for a day of shopping.

I really like visiting Brentwood Mall — it’s a clean, modern space that feels welcoming every time I go. The movie theatre is definitely one of my favorite spots; it’s comfortable and perfect for a casual night out. Earls is always a solid choice for dinner or drinks, and the food court has a nice variety of options that never disappoints.
If I had to mention one thing, I think a few more retail stores would make the shopping experience even better, but overall, it’s a great place to hang out, grab a bite, and enjoy a good movie. Definitely worth checking out!
