The hotel is a great location near the metro in the heart of Pigalle near excellent restaurants and bars. It’s still tourists by not nearly as much as up the hill. The staff is very relaxed and informal - but accommodating when you need something. Our room was super tiny which I didn’t realize considering the price but we embraced the vibe and had a good time. Great breakfast and welcome drinks for Titanium members which is a nice perk. Others complained about noise as the hotel transforms into a nightlife venue - it was fine as we faced the courtyard.
Tyler Ward - a month ago
I loved this place. Our room was a larger one on the fifth floor, far enough away if the evening music was too loud. My wife and I stayed at a much higher end hotel in Paris four years ago and we liked La Pigalle much more. It’s more relaxed and the room felt like the comfort of a European apartment. This is not really a place for family vacationing. It’s for adults traveling without kids. If you’re younger (or not), into the night life and a party atmosphere, this part of town is ideal. We were not seeking the night life, but the night life didn’t take away from our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Metro is also a few steps out the front door, giving you quick access to any area you wish to visit in Paris. For a reasonable price we had a pot of coffee and two espressos brought to our room extremely quickly each morning that you order using a bedside tablet (as well as any food you desire using room service). We are grateful for the experience!

Currently staying at this hotel and not too thrilled about it.
It's in a nice location and the reception staff is friendly, but there is a live DJ event going in the hotel lobby right below our room, and we can definitely hear it even with ear plugs.
I mentioned at check in that we wanted a quiet room and they told me they were fully booked. Mind you, the sign outside says "rooms available".
The room is alright with some funky decoration trying to match the neighborhood vibe, but if you prioritize sleep over looks, I recommend you stay elsewhere.

Hotel lobby has the kind of vibe Quavo would shout out, great spot to post up for WFH, with drinks that really hit around 2pm. Rooms are fun if you ever get one

I wanted to leave this review because I read others on this site after I booked (through a different platform with excellent reviews) and I worried that I made the wrong choice.
This is a great place to stay, very friendly and relaxed in excellent location. I asked for a quieter room in advance after reading reviews here. Got a lovely, quiet room towards the back - but I don't think there was a DJ the weekend I stayed. So maybe others were just really unlucky.

Best in all over the world I've traveled in Europe and so far this is one of the best their crêpe is so different. It's thin it's delicious and it's light and the flavors are amazing. I literally went here twice on my four days in Paris. Please Give it a shot and try both their savory and sweet tastes like heaven
Cristina Jozic - 4 months ago
The Galette Campagnarde is generously topped with bacon, onions, potatoes, cheese and an egg, making for a very filling meal.
The crêperie is small and charmingly decorated.
Anyone dining alone should be aware that you inevitably sit right in the middle of the crowd, just inches away from other guests. Privacy or quiet are foreign concepts when eating out in Paris.

To die for!
Super friendly staffs , and even better crepes and Brittany / Breton style dry cider. Cant go wrong with a lemon and sugar crepe- super affordable at 6 EUR after the extra whipped cream!

Really friendly staff and quick service. The options were great and they let us customise it. Plenty of options for varied dietary requirements.
Great crepes, we had savoury followed by sweet. Would definitely recommend.

This is a cosy venue, great for intimate gigs.
There's an eccentric bar upstairs that you can visit before a show.

Our reservation was 19:15 on a Tuesday. We waited in line for the restaurant to open. We were ushered in, and seated with all people who sat against the wall having to climb over the table.
The appetizer plate was skimpy, nothing special (see photo). Aperitif was chilled and nice.
The price was $66.00 for 2 people. You can order as a single but you have to pay for 2 people. 2 choices: cheese and a basket of bread pieces or diced meat and potatoes to cook in hot oil.
It was hot and everyone was sweaty.
It was fun for most to drink from bottle nipple but I preceded to remove the ripple and have better access to the wine.
It is very tight seating which was nice to have conversations with the strangers next to us but we could not have any private conversations.
If I was not with my young daughter, I would not have gone to the restaurant.
We had fun regardless. I would not go back.

Really fun experience.
The food is nice and the staff very pleasant. It is small inside but the quirky decor and baby bottles are all a fun touch.
I'm not sure why people are complaining about the confirmation email etc. You book it and then the day before receive an email to confirm. It might go to your junk mail but they need to have a confirmation!

What a memorable experience! I learned about Le Refuge des Fondus from an online travel blog and thought it would be a fun place to visit after an evening Sacre Couer visit. My wife and I arrived to the restaurant just as they were closing to prepare for the 2nd dinner service. The hostess told us we should come back when they re-opened and that she would find us a table if the place wasn’t booked solid with reservations. I can’t believe I forgot to make a reservation! Smh. Fortunately, 15 min after the restaurant reopened and the hostess seated everyone who had reservations, there was still a table for my wife and me. Two other pairs with no reservations also made it in.
My wife and I ordered the cheese fondue option. It was a lot of bread and a lot of cheese! We had it after kir, an appetizer, and a few swigs of wine/beer from a baby bottle. The baby bottles got lots of laughs. Quite the experience. After dinner, we had dessert and another kir, if I’m not mistaken.
I’m so glad my wife and I ate here. It was a real experience, one we’ll never forget.

My fist stop in Paris every single time! Me and my husband have been coming here for our first meal as soon as we arrive in Paris for the last 4 times! And this time I took my mother.
The best vibes, its fun to not take everything so seriously and jump over tables and drink out our baby bottles as an adult. Seriously she loved it and I obviously do too!
The meat fondue is more a meal, comes with potatoes and sauces as well, and the cheese fondue is just a vibe and pairs nicely with the wine they serve. In both cases, its a warm and cozy meal. (The chocolate mousse is also so good)
Leila Amr Eissa - 6 months ago
this is a really fun place and the staff are great. Personally, would have liked some veggies with the cheese fondue but the menu is very clear up front on what you are getting. The baby bottles are fun for a moment or two but I had to take the lid off to drink as it was a bit gross drinking wine through a plastic teat. Props to those who can manage it. It was nice to get pens to be able to add to the grafitti. All in all good fun, good atmosphere and great value. Book before you go.

My favorite bakery in Paris! They offer a diverse selection of savory and sweet products. The traditional baguette had great texture as well as flavor. The pain au chocolate had a nice ratio of chocolate. The lemon eclair was excellent, although I think the pistachio eclair could have used a bit more flavor. For savory I got olive and cheese bread, which is my personal favorite, as well as a cheese tomato bread. I went three times in total, and lines were never longer than 15-20 minutes, but well worth the wait.

This chocolate pastry is out of this world! If you are on a hunt for an amazing pain au chocolat but always wished if they could have more chocolate in it, then this is the one for you!
No custard like a pain suisse, just loaded with delicious studs of chocolate and enveloped in the crispy, buttery and flaky exterior! 10/10!!
Stephanie Loo - 5 months ago
Best bakery I’ve been to in Paris! Their pastries are phenomenal. The classic croissant and the pain au chocolat were so flakey and buttery. The mozzarella tomato pastry we got was the perfect savory breakfast, with fresh tomatoes and mozz. Not to mention this place is tucked back in a beautiful area with endless cute streets to wander. Cannot recommend it enough!

Absolutely loved my experience at Au Rendez-Vous des Amis! The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. I ordered a charcuterie plate with delicious fresh cuts of ham and salami—it was perfect to share and paired so well with wine. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic flavors and a friendly ambiance. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful brasserie located in Montmarte. Very unassuming and super pretty from the outside. We ordered a deli and cheese platter duo which came with a bowl of bread and was absolutely stunning and more than enough for 2 people.
We also ordered the escargot, and absolutely loved the garlic butter sauce, it was absolutely delicious.
The prices overall for food and drink were very reasonable.
We sat outside as it was beautiful weather which added to the whole experience but they also have seats inside too.
The staff were very friendly and happy to help as well but also aren't over you constantly so you feel like you can enjoy your food and drinks in a nice environment, but also that you can get their attention very easily if you want to order more.
We absolutely loved this restaurant and will absolutely be back again next time we're in Montmarte!

We tried the lunch offer (from 12 to 16) entree, main course and dessert for 20.9 €. All the food was very good (the pork curry main and the dessert, apple tart, were our favourites), the service was great, very friendly, and the tables outside have the most amazing ambiance of Montmartre, on a slightly quiter street, perfect to enjoy your meal.

Enjoyed our lunch at this quaint restaurant near to Abbesses. The food was great and the prices reasonable and fair. The bar manager / waitress seemed to be having a tough day and was quite stressed out but this happens in the restaurant trade and is to be expected from time to time. It's a tough line of work. But no harm done and we enjoyed and would recommend.

So far, the best breakfast we’ve had in Paris! The avocado toast was especially refreshing—different from the usual versions and full of flavor. The fried eggs and bacon were also good; the eggs were cleanly cooked without that oily aftertaste. The bacon could’ve been a bit warmer, but it was still tasty. Service was typical Parisian—efficient but not overly warm. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying and well-prepared breakfast!

We liked the place, outside is so cozy and has a lot of atmosphere. Food was good, staff is kind, but understaffed for the outside area a bit.

The food was wonderful, thanks to our server whom we adored. He kindly let us know what he did and did not recommended while we were ordering.
It is true that service was very slow, many customers, including we, were trying to get the server’s attention for different reasons but had to wait a long time. Even though this can be frustrating, we did notice that there was only one server, at least for the entire outdoor area, which is obviously too much work for one person. We couldn’t help but feel bad: the server was running back and forth from the kitchen to the dining area with sweat running down his face, yet he was still very friendly and welcoming. Everyone else was also nice!
Maybe the restaurant didn’t expect so many guests that day or maybe this has been an ongoing management issue. Overall, this is a decent place in the Place du Tertre!

Guinness, Magners cider - and delicious food. We love stopping here for a bit of a Irish respite from France. It’s a huge place with air conditioning, beer, fun, big screen, TVs. And good bathrooms.
The service has always been excellent, and the people are friendly.
Pulled pork nachos and bacon nachos come on a huge plate and they are delicious with lots of guacamole . Chicken sandwich is amazing.

Came to Le Progres for a nightcap for our first night in Paris. I found myself at a table by the window in here, lost in this beautiful girl's big grey eyes across the table from me, locked in a profound conversation.
I was so locked in, in fact, that when the French waitress came over and asked what we wanted, I was beyond unprepared. I had just drank gallons of red wine in Croatia, and needed a day off from my beloved vino. There was a slight language barrier, so I didn't want to ask too much as I don't speak French and feel so disrespectful trying to have a long conversation in English in a foreign country.
I asked if they had any tequila on the rocks, and she said "margarita?"
"That sounds great," I responded. The last thing I wanted was a margarita, but sometimes you gotta put it on the game card.
There I sat, drinking a sugary margarita on our first night in France, talking the night away. Everything was as it should be. I felt like Hemingway.

If you’re looking for a place to eat, this isn’t it. The wait staff took incredibly long to bring our menus and our drinks and even longer to take our orders. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy for having a 19:00H dinner
We ordered the Magret duck and the steak rib for our entrees and the crème brûlée for dessert.
Both entrees were overcooked, dried out and cold like it has been sitting out for a hour. The potatoes were the best thing on the plate.
The crème brûlée had better days but it was still edible
Overall, I wouldn’t come back here unless it was to drink and smoke with everyone that sits outside
