Good to see but if you go late in the day the penguins are asleep so worth going earlier

Found this place by accident, wife and I both love the aquariums in the UK so went and had a look. Staff were brilliant, even had a member of staff take my wife aside and have a really in depth talk about the sea horses (thought I'd lost my wife to another man) Saw penguins and rays being fed too. All of it fantastic; especially with being able to leave and come back as much as we wanted during the day. Must have been about 3-4 hours in total although you could rush and go around in 60 minutes.

Loved it. Most things in French as well as English. Great talks, a kids activity area with octonauts videos playing, a shark electronic interactive wall, penguin enclosure which is very much like the one featured in Happy Feet. Also a kids climbing area at the start. Clean and easy to spend more time there than you think.

Best aquarium I’ve been to and it’s inside a shopping complex! Plenty to see and a great variety of sea life. You do get use to the smell as you go around. Really well laid out. The highlight is definitely the penguins and seeing them swim under water. Gift shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and able to go round at your own leisure.
