Experience the wonders of the seas by visiting one of the most advanced aquariums in the world. Sea Life is a chain of very successful aquariums with individual aquariums all over the world including one in Val d'Europe or Valley of Europe for the English speaking among us. Val d'Europe is situated in a new town called Marne-la-Vallee which is part of the greater Seine et Marne area. The Sea Life aquarium also happens to be the biggest aquarium in the entire lle-de-France region and features some of the most interesting and diverse underwater aquatic attractions available anywhere.

You can find Sea Life Val d'Europe situated inside the new, space age Marne-la-Valle mall, one of the most modern malls in the whole European Union with giant plasma screens and live television broadcasts, the entrance to the Sea Life Aquarium is located in an area known as The Terraces, an area that also includes a number of restaurants and bars so you and your family will be well catered to before and after your amazing visit to Sea Life Val d'Europe.

Sea Life Val d'Europe is also conveniently located only twenty minutes outside of Paris and is only five minutes away from the Disneyland resort which makes the entire area ideally situated for a full day of fun as well as educational and learning opportunities. Some of the features to look forward to include the largest collection of sharks in France as well as a seahorse breeding centre. There is much to learn at Sea Life Val d'Europe including the very important aspect of the conservation of our oceanic heritage. The tanks are extremely attractive and feature some great added decorative features such as life size underwater ship wrecks and even a recreation of the fabled city of Atlantis.

Rated 3.8 out of 5SEA LIFE Val d'Europe Star Rating

5 Star Rating I always came here with my daughter, she loves so much to see a lot of kind of fishes. And also penguin, but its better you take annual pass, it will be cheaper than to buy daily ticket.

5 Star Rating Found this place by accident, wife and I both love the aquariums in the UK so went and had a look. Staff were brilliant, even had a member of staff take my wife aside and have a really in depth talk about the sea horses (thought I'd lost my wife to another man) Saw penguins and rays being fed too. All of it fantastic; especially with being able to leave and come back as much as we wanted during the day. Must have been about 3-4 hours in total although you could rush and go around in 60 minutes.

5 Star Rating Loved it. Most things in French as well as English. Great talks, a kids activity area with octonauts videos playing, a shark electronic interactive wall, penguin enclosure which is very much like the one featured in Happy Feet. Also a kids climbing area at the start. Clean and easy to spend more time there than you think.

4 Star Rating My son spent more than 2 hours here playing with other children at the maze, which made us all happy :) I understand the challenges of having an aquarium at a mall, but I have been to other aquariums that have more interactive activities and sessions and it would be great to add some to the schedule here. Other than that, the place is clean, the staff are friendly and very cooperative, the fish and sea creatures are various and beautiful, the path inside is clear, easy to follow and guarantee that you won’t miss a section inside and at he end, children can go and play at the maze :) P.S. you will get used to the smell during your journey, so don’t worry about it :D

5 Star Rating Best aquarium I’ve been to and it’s inside a shopping complex! Plenty to see and a great variety of sea life. You do get use to the smell as you go around. Really well laid out. The highlight is definitely the penguins and seeing them swim under water. Gift shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and able to go round at your own leisure.
