I love bookshops and this one is simply lovely. Interesting selection of art and literature books. There is a cafe when you can have a treat and drinks. They also organize events and art expos. It's walking distance from Sacre Coeur.

Loved our recent visit. The Gilbert Peyre exhibition was very good and the collection of art work from Iran was the cherry on the cake for my visit.

I always visit the gallery when i'm the neighbourhood. The exhibitions always are provocative, playful and striking. So i have no choice but to keep coming back.

We came to Paris from Canada and visited many museums. This is the only one that charges for disabled people. The exhibition hall is very small and the ticket price is a bit expensive compared to the exhibits. There are many works of special people in it. If you are an art lover, you can come and see it. Otherwise, it is not worth coming here.

Fantastic gallery. We were looking for contemporary art, something different that would really move us. We loved the 2 exhibits we saw: L’Art Brut d’Iran and Gilbert Peyre. Very inspiring and well curated. Staff/guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the bookstore too.

Best in all over the world I've traveled in Europe and so far this is one of the best their crêpe is so different. It's thin it's delicious and it's light and the flavors are amazing. I literally went here twice on my four days in Paris. Please Give it a shot and try both their savory and sweet tastes like heaven

Really friendly staff and quick service. The options were great and they let us customise it. Plenty of options for varied dietary requirements.
Great crepes, we had savoury followed by sweet. Would definitely recommend.

There are so many crepe restaurants in Paris but this one, omg. This one is by far the most authentic one of them all.
The restaurant is cozy and cute and makes for a great brunch or dinner if you are in Montmarte.
We tried the savoury gallete (with tomato, spinach, egg and goat cheese). It was so good! The crepe itself was light and crispy, and the staff was so sweet, they even customized the dish to our liking by including and excluding the ingredients we wanted.
I would also recommend having the galette with their apple cider as that's how it's traditionally enjoyed.
Good value for money, two of us shared one galette and it was a substantial snack.
Definitely visit if you are in the area!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars
This was a perfect little find
We wanted savoury and sweet pancakes in the same place somewhere traditional and this was absolutely perfect
The lady owner here is the friendliest Parisian we’ve met in awhile especially seen as her English is limited but more than enough to get by and much better than my French
They have been using most languages, which is very handy and helpful
The crepes here are phenomenal made fresh and brought straight up to the table
The red wine was really cheap as it was only €5 and tasted delicious
They have a huge selection - you will not be disappointed
They also do a really cheap lunchtime menu which is about €15 for two courses and a drink including cider

Deliciously satisfying! Their savory and sweet crepes were perfectly crafted - light, flavorful, and bursting with fresh ingredients.

My fist stop in Paris every single time! Me and my husband have been coming here for our first meal as soon as we arrive in Paris for the last 4 times! And this time I took my mother.
The best vibes, its fun to not take everything so seriously and jump over tables and drink out our baby bottles as an adult. Seriously she loved it and I obviously do too!
The meat fondue is more a meal, comes with potatoes and sauces as well, and the cheese fondue is just a vibe and pairs nicely with the wine they serve. In both cases, its a warm and cozy meal. (The chocolate mousse is also so good)

Really fun experience.
The food is nice and the staff very pleasant. It is small inside but the quirky decor and baby bottles are all a fun touch.
I'm not sure why people are complaining about the confirmation email etc. You book it and then the day before receive an email to confirm. It might go to your junk mail but they need to have a confirmation!

Many tourists but I honestly had such an amazing time. My friend and I got very lucky and got in with no reservation because a bigger group didn’t arrive on time. The experience was amazing. Very small and intimate restaurant and the experience was entertaining! I would definitely put this on your Paris bucket list and make a reservation asap! Servers were also super kind and entertaining, they made the experience unique and special

It's not always all about the food, great service and atmosphere, and THE company made this evening 6/5.
Service was great, food was good, reasonible prices. This is a place one should take as experience to add "been there, done that" list. Totally recommend to people who love to dine in casual restaurants.

I have to say, we were super skeptical at first, looked like a cheap tourist trap, but it way exceeded expectations. It is a prix fixe place, so it’s all included in the price. The cheese fondue was really good, we cleaned the pot. The aperitif was nice, and the “schtick” of drinking your wine out of baby bottles was kind of funny. The place was packed, so be sure to get reservations. And ladies, be prepared to climb on a chair and step over the table to get to some of the seats (not as tough as it sounds) because the place is jamm packed, only two long lines of tables, 9 people per side. But fun crowd, friendly staff, and good food, for a reasonable price for the area.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, managing to attend to every busy table with genuine care. The venue itself is beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere to enjoy the meal.
Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, but the frogs legs were a standout dish — truly unforgettable. A wonderful spot to experience authentic French cuisine with a personal touch.

The oldest restaurant in Montmartre has been revamped by the team who reinvented the Bouillon Pharamond. They've kept all the charm of this classic venue but with a fresh appeal! Excellent traditional French dishes with a modern twist, very friendly staff, a magical vintage decor and fantastic French playlist. They've got a large backroom that's also perfect for larger dinners. Highly recommended!

One of the best French establishments I’ve visited in Paris in a long time. The food was spectacular—special shout‑out to the bone marrow and the magret de canard, both beautifully executed. The price‑to‑quality ratio is unbeatable, and the restaurant itself is full of history, the kind of timeless room that makes you fall in love with classic Parisian dining.
Criselis Perez - 3 weeks ago
Historic old restaurant, very beautiful interior. The food though was very average French cuisine bistro food. I’m not quite sure why this place is popular/famous other than it’s historic.
Beef tartar was good and so was the crème brûlée dessert but nothing to rave about

We really loved our meal here - the staff were friendly and happy to answer my questions about gluten free options, there was atmosphere in spades thanks to a live piano performance + the general decor, and the food was simple but delicious. We had the €35 fixed dinner menu, which included 3 courses.

Everything was superb for our anniversary dinner, thank you so much to all of the team members at Petrelle!! Very dish was expertly crafted, beautifully presented and tasted exceptional. I’m sorry I’d forgotten the name of the sommelier, his exuberance for everything truly made the night a time to remember. We will look forward to visit again in our next trip to Paris.

Pétrelle is your go-to for a romantic Parisian dinner. We visited in December ‘24. It is perfect with white tablecloths, candlelight, chandeliers, and tasteful, muted decor. As an added bonus, if you visit during colder months, a wood stove heats the dining room adding a wonderful lush smell to compliment the wonderful food. When my wife was unable to eat something on the tasting menu, they kindly offered a substitute. The service was wonderful, and the food was even better. Each course was excellent, but the showstopper for me was the fillet of Picardy venison with Jerusalem artichokes with hazelnut praline and cocoa jus.

We had a wonderful dinner here. Romantic candle lights, warm fireplace, friendly staff, and seasonal food prepared really well. I definitely recommend having dinner here. It will not disappoint!

I’m scared of Pétrelle getting more well-known than they already are. I go here quite regularly, and it has never disappointed. Chef Lucie’s cooking is always thoughtful and scrumptious, and Luca is a wonderful host. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. It’s exactly what you’d imagine Paris dining would and should be like.
I don’t adore the area, but for Restaurant Pétrelle, I gladly go.
My number one favorite restaurant in Paris for sure.

Friendly and attentive staff, the prices are also very decent for this area of Paris. The food was amazing with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options(you can ask them to make something vegetarian without butter and milk for vegan options). The food is extremely delicious, would absolutely recommend this restaurant for dining!

I really love spicy food, and because it's not for everyone, I appreciate the fact that there are various levels of spiciness to ensure everyone has a great time. The food is delicious, authentic and served in solid portions.
The staff are friendly and efficient, and you can choose to sit inside or outside as there's a good number of tables.

A wonderful slice of authentic Parisian bistro fare! We enjoyed a lovely dinner outside, with people strolling by. The escargots and baked Camembert with honey and baguette were tasty starters and the special of the day was pork and potatoes in a BBQ sauce. Everything was delicious and the service was super friendly. A gem in the heart of Montmartre, just below the Sacre Coeur.

Healthy organic foods.
I had the carrot juice, my partner had aperol spritz, bruschette and gnocci. He really enjoyed. Lots of two seaters outside on the patio which is on the street. Quiet , not a lot of people but we came around 3-4pm on a Wednesday.
Server lady was kind.
Edit: Washroom was downstairs and I had just sprained my ankle so the same lady server helped hold my crutches and helped my climb downstairs. Super fabulous!

This turned out to be a wonderful dining experience, despite a slightly rocky start. On arrival, the service felt slow and inattentive, which was surprising given the small number of guests present. Thankfully, once our orders were placed, the food and drinks arrived quickly. It was a welcome relief after a long day of touring the city.
I ordered the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection: moist, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Even my husband, who rarely enjoys seafood, was impressed enough to say, “Wow.” His schnitzel was equally impressive—crispy, tender, and full of flavour. He enjoyed it so much that he mentioned he would happily order it again on a future visit.
The combination of well-prepared dishes and a relaxed, neighbourhood setting made our meal memorable. While the service could improve in attentiveness at the start, the quality of the food more than made up for it. We would certainly look forward to returning if we stay in the area again.

I was so happy to find a Hungarian themed restaurant in Paris! Unfortunately it's more like a beers and burgers place, visited by locals, and only a limited amount of hungarian dishes on the menu, but the stuffed cabbage and the chicken paprikas were super tasty! For these two meals I'd give 5 stars. However the fröccs was a little bit warm and the soda water was not bubbly. There were only 2 waiters for the entire inside and outside area which meant even thought they tried their best, things would go a bit slowly. The place felt like a regular pub, unfortunately if that is what the demand is in this area, it's what they will supply. Great potential though!
