My recent stay at Le Pavillon de la Reine was truly memorable, and the hotel's reputation for elegance and exceptional service is well-deserved. The location is perfect, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a special circumstance arise with my booking, and the staff, particularly Alan Lepage, the Assistant General Manager, handled it with great care and professionalism. Their solution only reinforced the exceptional hospitality that defines this hotel. I truly enjoyed my stay and will most certainly return! My mother and me stayed at Le Pavillon de la Reine for a week and had a wonderful stay. Our room was fantastic, the hotel location cannot be beat, the service is phenomenal, and the food (you must have dinner at Anne restaurant!) was amazing! I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Tucked into a quiet courtyard near the place des vosges, this hotel is a beautifully decorated and calm retreat from the busy streets if Paris. The library lounge is a must to visit, and the rooms are well proportioned. we stayed during new years eve in covid and even during this time the hotel was a welcome escape. We cannot wait to return

One of my favorite meals in Paris! Food was simply delicious. Standout dishes were the escargot, fried fish (starter), duck, and chocolate mousse. Ambience is great too and servers were fun and friendly! They even gave us a shot of chestnut liqueur to end the meal. Would definitely recommend!

Such a cute place definitely recommend reservations (we had one), but if you get there early and wait in line they did seat a lot of people that were walk ins. The food was good, but super rich. We shared and enjoyed everything. The chocolate mousse is a must.

It is very rare that a restaurant becomes a memory, but Chez Janou did exactly that. This is the kind of bistro that makes you understand why the French guard their food culture so fiercely. I ordered the escargots, the ratatouille, a bottle of wine, and of course the legendary chocolate mousse that everyone talks about. The escargots were exactly how they should be: rich garlic butter, tender snails, nothing rubbery, nothing overdone. The ratatouille tasted like something a French grandmother would make at home, slow-cooked, layered flavour, fresh vegetables that haven’t been cooked to death. But the real star is the chocolate mousse. They do not serve you a “portion”. They bring an entire bowl, the size of a cooking pot, and simply scoop it onto your plate without ceremony. No pretension, no fancy plating, just unapologetically indulgent chocolate. Smooth, deep, not too sweet, and probably the best I have ever had. The bistro is loud, warm, slightly chaotic in the best way, with tables squeezed together and waiters flying around but still managing to joke and smile. It feels like eating inside a postcard of Paris in the 60s. An absolute must.

A fantastic meal! The ropa vieja was delicious, just like abuela used to make it. The atmosphere was great with plenty of seating. Mojitos were very good. Overall a great experience.

I was not French, and that was noted right away, even though I did my best to politely ask for table for one, and can get around. Waiters ignored me completely, which didn't make it the most successful lunch. The food was good. The place was packed, but the waiters did not treat anyone not native French nicely, eg. the couple that got seated next to me. The place is in a very charming neighborhood, and I had hoped for better indoor experience. The toilet is downstairs and very dirty. As I could not get the waiters attention when I needed to pay, I did the app, and it went smooth paying my bill.

Had a great dinner at this place. Rigatoni alla Norma (veggie) was superb and also the roast chicken. Tiramisu topped it up. And a surprise visit by a local cat at the end :)

Great casual place to meet up with friends, have a few drinks, and eat authentic french food at reasonable prices in downtown Paris. The atmosphere and decor is very cozy and the service is amazing. Very friendly staff who would attend to you quickly. Reservations are not allowed and the place is usually very crowded so be prepared for some waiting time. Food is decent but not the best that I've tasted.

Delicious Italian food, very welcoming and friendly staff, not expensive. We did not have a reservation and were seated immediately. We two split pasta with large shrimps and porcini mushroom sauce, plus a small salad. Amazingly delicious. Small place and full of Parisians. Delightful. Will go back for more!

The pizza at this restaurant was excellent - the crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The Caprese salad was also delicious, with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had a rich, savory sauce that was perfectly balanced. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for tasty Italian food. Amazing Panna Cotta!!! One downfall is that they do not take Amex (American Express).

Late night. Hungry. So we stopped in off street without reservations. We were seated immediately! Prompt service. Food was good. Not stellar, but it hit the spot. Highlight was the Dolcetto. Very good and good price. Rocket salad also good. Contemplating dessert as I write this.

As others has written this is a very nice Italian restaurant with helpful staff and good food. It’s a little pricey and (though this isn’t so unusual for Paris) there were no high-chairs for our son, but we had a really excellent meal and will hope to return!

Stopped in 15 minutes before close and got a pizza to go... they were very nice and accommodating, eager to get me something fast. I had a lovely glass of wine while waiting. Pizza was delicious! Simple Margherita, but nicely flavored with crisp yet chewy crust. Warm ambience, will return next time to eat in!

We loved it so much that we went back the next day for breakfast! It's a great spot to refresh with healthy juices and flavorful salads. The portions were generous, and everything we tried was satisfying. The only not perfect was the Chai Latte! it wasn’t really a latte. It came topped with an excessive amount of whipped cream, which we ended up discarding. Stick to the juices and food, and you’ll have a great experience! I wish they had a non-smoking section! All the smoking around us affected the whole experience!

In my neighborhood and a restaurant chain and a good breakfast and lunch spot with a huge variety of fresh fruit juices, drinks and desserts as well. Had a nice time and albeit a tad expensive for what you get in terms of serving, I highly recommend. The waiter who served us was lovely and professional.

A nice cafe close to Bastille metro station- perfect if you want to drink your coffee and look at the passers-by. The food is fresh and tasty, we had fruit salad and some shrimps curry. The waiting time can be a bit longer on weekends as they have a lot of clients, but nothing extreme.

Finally a sympathetic bar but with a so so DJ. Don't worry the ambiance is excellent and staffs very nice and definitely, I like the lights and decorations. Prices are "normal" for what you get and quality is above average. You can go there whenever you want! Happy hour until 23:00. Now it's my 2nd favourite bar in Paris!

First time here was 8 years ago when visiting Paris and had to come back when I returned to the city. Delicious cocktails, great 90s/early 2000s music and fantastic service. Highly recommend. Happy hour prices are dynamite and late night atmosphere is something to experience.

Had a great time there. The restaurant has only a few tables, the food is superb, everything taste delicious. Book in advance as they are always fully booked. I ate the lamb, which was good, and the entrecôte that was superb.

I first visited L’Ange 20 about ten years ago, and it instantly became my favorite restaurant. On my recent trip back to Paris, I knew I had to return — and I’m thrilled to say it’s still just as amazing as I remembered! The food is outstanding — excellent quality, generous portions, and incredible value for the price. I loved it so much that I brought my parents along, and they agreed it was the best meal we had in Paris. I highly recommend trying the lamb, their specialty. It’s served piping hot, perfectly tender, and bursting with flavor — absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, which makes the experience even better. It felt like the chef was perfectly in tune with our meal, timing each course as if anticipating when we’d be ready for the next — a level of attention I’ve never experienced before. Overall, L’Ange 20 continues to reign supreme as my favorite dining experience in Paris. Outstanding food, warm service, and unbeatable value. Highly recommended!

Wow… this person, une nana chinoise @JosephHsiung, really posted something misleading on Google and TikTok. Just to clear things up: 1 An empty reserved table doesn’t mean it’s available for you. 2 The receipt she showed online clearly says 3 meals + 2 drinks — but she claimed she was charged for 5 meals. 🤔 Please, if you’re gonna post online, at least be honest. It’s sad when people twist facts just for attention.

It's a wonderful place to hang out with friends and enjoy delicious tapas and paella. The paella portion was really huge; it was meant for two portions, but we couldn't finish it all. It was one of the best paellas I've ever had. They have a really delicious cocktail list, and I especially enjoyed one called the Valencia. It's very refreshing and tasty. All the staff were very nice and friendly, and the restaurant was packed with people, even on Sunday. I had a great time there. I would definitely come back!

Had a surprisingly satisfying sushi here, after randomly going in for a quick dinner before 7pm. Chirashi sushi was big in portion and the rice and fish both good. I would visit again if I get cravings for sushi! 🍣

My absolute FAVOURITE restaurant in Paris. It’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. Not even kidding. I love love love it. I’ve lived here for a year and it’s the only restaurant I keep coming back for. The service is sooooo nice. They really care about the customers. We got to try both a hot and cold sake just because they were nice though it was a hassle to separate a bottle in two. It was SOOO nice. Thank you so much!! Love this place. Amazing. Thank you.

We were craving sushis this place was the closest to us and it completely satisfied us. Service was very quick, prices are affordable, and everything was tasty and well made. It was not the best sushis I had since I prefer it with less rice (which is almost impossible to find in most places). The Dragon roll was very tasty but not enough for a single person as a main dish.

Simple and delicious, well priced. The salad was a great deal for a simple and healthy lunch. There's lots of all-you-can-eat sushi nearby, but if you don't want that much food, this is a much better deal :) In a nice area with good shopping nearby!
