Truly enjoyed our breakfast at Breakfast in America. The food was hot, fresh and good. We had no complaints and know where to come for an American style breakfast. Our server was nice and the prices were reasonable

Great place for breakfast with real and unlimited coffee. I just cannot say enough good about the friendliness of the employees, especially Denise. If you are ever in the Latin Quarter of Paris, the 5th, drop in for some great food. If you are from the USA especially they have OUR unlimited coffee refills also!

LOVE this place. As tourists from the US, we’ve had a bit of a struggle finding places that suit us for breakfast. We tried all sorts of cuisines over our week stay but still missed the traditional eggs, toast and taters that we are so used to. A lot of breakfast spots we visited had extremely sweet mains for breakfast or things we weren’t very used to. Finding this spot was amazing. We got in a hearty breakfast of eggs, toast, potatoes and pancakes and a good old cup of coffee and OJ. The hot coco is also delicious. Enough to last us the day until dinner time.
The atmosphere resembles traditional 50’s style diners which was also exciting to see. The staff is absolutely delightful. Thank you and we’ll probably be back someday!

This place is a fantastic choice for simple yet delicious food! It’s especially perfect on Sunday mornings, where you’ll find a mix of American families and tourists enjoying their breakfast and creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The vibes here are genuinely great, and the staff adds to the experience with their friendliness and attentiveness. True to its advertising, this diner perfectly captures the essence of an authentic American-style experience. The coffee stands out as exceptional, and the desserts are equally satisfying, adding a sweet touch to the meal. Overall, my visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

Unbelievable experience. I have dined at hundreds of restaurants throughout Paris and this is one of my favorites! The Truffle Inspired Tasting was just perfect. The Chef is an artist and his thoughtful creations are simply incredible. The wine Pairings with the tasting were amazing and well thought out and the staff was very knowledgeable about all the pleasures they offered to me. The staff was absolutely fantastic and I will be back for years to come💯🇫🇷💪

A truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The carrot-themed amuse-bouche was both whimsical and beautifully executed — a creative and flavorful opening. Fois gras starter was excellent. The gnocchi with mushrooms and truffles was perfectly balanced, rich yet delicate. But the standout was the pomelo dessert: an extraordinary interplay of sweetness and tartness, unlike anything I’ve encountered before. Service was impeccable — gracious, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable. A memorable meal in every way.

Known for their truffle menu, and although we didn't pick that, we enjoyed the set meal that we picked.
The complimentary bread with truffle butter was a good starting point. Among the appetizers, the eggplant stood out for me, showcasing cooking techniques and out of the ordinary flavours. Of the two mains we had, preferred the steak. It's better than what we had from a Michelin-starred restaurant few days before. The prawn main needed a little more finesse, one piece isn't as refined as the others. They gave free lasagna topped with bone marrow. Loved it and it needed to go in their main menu.
Dessert came in a wide variety, but my personal favorite is the complimentary truffle ice cream. A bit hesitant at first but it was very delicious.
Service is excellent. Each dish is described in detail which sets the tone for each dish. A small hiccup at the beginning because the table is a bit dusty, might be an exhaust issue. Still complimented the chef before leaving because what a great meal that was.

Amazing restaurant with high attention to detail. Wonderful food with focus on truffle flavour.
We visited there in June 2024. It was my wife, 8 year old daughter and myself. We were warmly greeted and they had read our requests very well so that was already a great start due to any dietary requirements.
The menu is unique and they had also prepared something i.e had nice choices for my little one.
I would highly recommend this restaurant which is different as the truffle aspect to me personally was really nice. We enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks to the Chef for popping at our table and being so warm. Wonderful team of people and all the best wishes.

A wonderful dining experience, not just a meal. From first welcome, to last bites, we were very impressed. The staff made us feel comfortable and cared for, and gave a great champagne recommendation! We opted for the tasting menu, and the chef kindly adapted this to our pescatarian preferences, and we had the best mushrooms we had both ever tasted, along with a delicious sea bream main. All courses and extras offered something truly unique taste wise, and being given information about each (in excellent English I might add) added to the premium experience. Have already recommended to friends and would love to visit again next time we are in Paris 💛

Great bar , the barmen and locals are always cool. Any football game you want to watch they can probably put it on if you ask and there isn’t a big game on already. Pint (Kronenbourg)is good, but id stay clear of the Guinness. All in all a great bar with a good fun atmosphere.

Heard very nice things about it before, first time for me tonight. Good Guinness, prices are really affordable for Paris, bartender Guillaume was tending alone and doing an brilliant job. Very clean and welcoming place. Will come back. Cheers!

Nice bar with a pleasant playlist of rock music. Waiters and waitresses are very nice and joyful, insuring that you will have a good time in this bar. Moreover there is a cellar, which offers two different atmospheres for the same bar. Main perk of this place : there is free wifi! The code is written on the boards on the walls and this is very enjoyable. Nice colorful lighting and very beautiful neighborhood (near Pantheon and ENS).

Great Argentinian restaurant (parrilla style) in Paris. The food was great and the service could not have been better. I’ve got a booking for lunch on Saturday for me and some friends. I wanted them to taste.
Although some may find it pricy, the ingredients were quality ones. That makes the difference in Argentinian cuisine.

My family visited Paris last week and found Cafe El Sur via a quick Google maps search as we were looking for a place to eat near our hotel. I’m glad we found this place because the food was delicious and service was amazing!! We ordered the croquetas de jamón, guacamole, papas fritas artesanas, and the Parrillada de Carnes (80€ ) We will definitely be stopping here next time we’re in Paris.

The loveliest people work here — genuinely friendly, kind, and welcoming. They greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel completely at ease, constantly checking in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves.
The cocktails were beautiful, delicious, and full of flavor. Desserts were lovely and the coffee strong and satisfying — a perfect way to finish the experience.
But truly, it’s the staff that makes this place shine. Their warmth and hospitality are what turn a good visit into an unforgettable one. Absolutely five stars for the team!

A very nice place in a very cool area. That’s why we’ve come here 3 times. The staff is friendly, and the food and drinks are very good!

A bit off the main tourist attractions, but still very popular—there were plenty of customers. If you’re sitting outside on a sunny day, be prepared for the heat as there are no sunshades, which can get uncomfortable.
Prices are on the higher side. We wanted to try the daily special, but unfortunately, they had already run out of beef. Overall, the lunch menu was quite limited if you’re looking for a proper meal.
The burger patty was cooked perfectly medium, but it was quite watery and lacked flavor. On the other hand, the others at our table really enjoyed their Caesar salad and yellow fish dish.
Definitely try the vitamin C juice—it was a hit!
Keli T - 4 months ago
One of the best places in that specific region. You can relax, have your drinks and order yourself some food.
We only had fries, hence the three stars only for the food, however next time I am there I will definitely try the food and update the review.
On Sundays you can get lucky and there would be a band playing right outside on the roundabouts.

We enjoyed Cafe Delmas on a lark, on Fete de la Musique Day in Paris. Our waiter Demitrious was excellent, offered great suggestions which we thoroughly enjoyed. From the perfect Ceviche, the pinsa (like a flatbread pizza but thicker, and better) and my daughters perfectly cooked bacon cheese burger, we saved room for dessert too and they Strawberry Mango sorbet soup, and the cookie sundae we ate every bite!

I visited A LOT of pubs in and outside of Paris and this one feels like one of the more authentic ones in the city. They have good ales on tap, good live sports and staff is friendly
Also, the view is amazing

Came in to watch the football as they have sky sports - but actually such a lovely little pub! Great view of the Panthéon as well

Now Paris has got another cracking spot. It's a proper British pub, just like those in London! We watched the Champions League final there, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing. The view of the Pantheon was stunning! And I think I’ve gone and fallen for a bloke with a tash. 🤭

I'm always a bit cynical about British pubs abroad, but this one's an absolute gem. Great choice of ales, and had the fish and chips... fries really, but willing to let that pass, as the fish was one of the best cooked bits of fish I've had in a long time. Superb

I came for breakfast and also bought baguettes to have at night on my trip back home.
The pain au chocolat was good and buttery, I always forget the name but I ordered this pastry filled with baked apple and was quite nice. The star of the show was the macaron, it tasted so fruty and nice!!! I loved it.
Baguettes were still good at night, lots of butter and good bread!

Real good food. Pastries are quite fresh and it worths trying. Personally, I didn't enjoy the coffee, it was too bitter. There are some seats to sit inside and outside.

My first visit here was just for a baguette and chocolate eclairs. Both were so good. Surprised the baguette was warm since I bought it in the afternoon but so glad it was, as it was probably the best I've had. Crunchy outside and light inside. Add beurre aux sel de mar and it's all you need. There's another EK just up the street that serves good coffee and some different food items than the other store.

Ethiopian food is one of my favorites and this was so good. Small restaurant with friendly service and really delicious food served family style. The depth of flavor was insane. It is a small place so I understand the everyone must order 1 dish policy. The injeera were not dark (although you can pay for the darker variety. To me they tasted much the same. We had the combo platters and a lamb with onions dish. Typically I find the veg dishes more tasty but here the meat ones were just as delicious.

Great food, cosy restaurant and decent service. We ordered the tasting platter, one meat and one vegetarian. I wasn’t disappointed. I’d come back
I’m gluten intolerant and found that I can eat the injera which is made out of teff and something else. So it’s worth coming here if you’re gluten free.

Dinner, Conversation and Cognac
Walking near the Sorbonne in the 5th District we came upon Le Buisson Ardent and saw a wonderful lamb entree on the menu. We settled in for 2+ delicious hours of cafe dining, including that lamb, dessert and cognac. All accompanied by the charm and conversation of the owner and young patrons surrounding us. Highly recommend!

Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a leisurely lunch, the people at Le Buisson Ardent effortlessly deliver both culinary excellence and a sense of ease that lingers long after the meal is over.
This is one of those very rare places you immediately want to return to. A true Parisian treasure!

Nice place to have French food. Staff is very friendly. We ordered a starter with beef which was a bit too salty. However, it came with very flavorful olive oil dressing. It would be good if there was some more salad. The shrimp salad is very good. I also ordered a mojito. It did not have enough lime😌.

Found this place just walking around. Very decent food. Exceeded expectations. We had the beef tartare, tuna tartare, grilled squid/octopus (polpe), pan fried tuna and ipa.
They served us Evian for EUR6.5 which I was tempted to give 4 stars for service, haiya, but I should’ve just been assertive and asked for tap water instead 😅
But overall, again, much better than anticipated.

Big compliment to the staff for their kindness. I came with an upset stomach and got just what I needed to finally eat again. Their soup of the day, carrott puree and mousse au chocolat were delicious and made me feel like a human again. Thank you
