5 Star Rating My wife and I have been in Paris for four days and have made it a point to ensure we experience all the outstanding cuisine this city has to offer. We came across this restaurant after a not-so-great meal the previous evening. As I mentioned to the proprietor, this was far and away THE BEST MEAL WE HAD IN PARIS. We started with a caprese salad. I had a Calabrese pizza and my wife a delicious penne pasta pomodoro prepared with gluten free pasta to accommodate my wife’s gluten allergy. Then panna cotta, espresso, and delicious limoncello. An exquisite dining experience. Complimenti al proprietario gentilissimo!!!

5 Star Rating Best Italian Restaurant in Paris! Delicious food and impeccable service. We had the Parigina and it was absolutely delicious. We came as a group of 8 people and they were so nice as to help us split the bill. When I dropped my fork, the waiter noticed and passed me a new one without me even asking:-) Amazing service with even more amazing food!

4 Star Rating Delicious food and great service. English menus available. Really enjoyed the pancakes and it’s great you can have them with sausage and egg for those who fancy both. I ordered the 2 pancakes with syrup, 2 eggs & 2 sausages option. My partner enjoyed the milkshake too! If ordering the hot dog be aware that it comes with ketchup, onion & mustard even though it doesn’t say so on the menu.

4 Star Rating Food gets 5 Stars! Service gets 3/4 stars Atmosphere 4/5 Stars If you’re looking for a classic American Breakfast this is the place for you. Slightly smaller than the Emily in Paris location of this restaurant but the food is on par. Service was good - only issue we had was that whilst there was plenty of tables for us to sit at they wanted to squeeze us in a smaller booth that was sandwiched between stand alone tables. Too claustrophobic for my liking. Though when asked they did allow us to change seats/tables. Atmosphere is great - classic American songs are playing and the staff are upbeat. We’ll definitely be back!

5 Star Rating If you’re looking for good food at great prices, this is your spot. A full brunch menu can be had for €23.50 – an entree, an addition of pancakes or French toast, a hot beverage and an orange juice. The Eggs Benedict have perfectly poached eggs draped with a light hollandaise. I had mine with potatoes. The banana French toast is a single slice, but more than enough. Service is friendly and efficient. Takes cards and cash, and has a clean restroom.

3 Star Rating We went on Sunday Brunch, which is very popular, and there was a long wait. That was expected and normal. Once inside the service was very slow. The food was ok. Not great not bad, just ok. The waiter forgot part of our order and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for them to bring it. They had to remind the kitchen about it. It is a very generous 3 stars because the food took way too long for being just ok, but the staff was very friendly. There are way better spots to eat while in Paris.

5 Star Rating Food was expertly prepared and the truffle theme was there, but not overpowering, and there are mains without truffle if desired. The service was wonderful and very accommodating. 5 Star Rating A very cute authentic french restaurant. Amazing service and huge selection of wine. It's not a 'regular menu' they have the chef's menu you can choose from. It was delicious, I felt like the desert did not need to taste like truffle, even tho I selected the truffle menu. : ) Highly recommended if you're looking for french cuisine and wine. Even the small croissant and truffle butter before the meal starts is so delicious.

3 Star Rating Liked the food. The downside: we never got the entries we ordered, they would not change the fries for mashed potatoes (which is fine but…they did for the people on the table next to us, who ordered exactly the same thing we did 🤷🏻‍♀️) and you can’t take the dessert home with you because they don’t have containers.

5 Star Rating Super happy with the El Sur. Had an excellent 200gram beef rare 18euro... beautifully melting. There is a Malbec club... i had a 375 ml 12euro so very fair n tasty. Atmosphere is great very friendly. English speaking. Just off enough of the tourist area to have locals too. Doesnt have a terrace but instead a covered area with giant folding doors so it feels open. Argentina music playing , not too loud. There were kids so family friendly. Really enjoyed an easy pleasant night with a great steak... i will be back unless everyone starts taking my spot.... dont come El Sur is mine lol... kidding everyone come...

5 Star Rating French fries and blond beer 1664 pint was very good, it came with a lemon in glass (we also liked the aromatic flavor). But I didn’t like the cafe gourmand, because deserts didn’t satisfy me in terms of taste. Oh and they offer some popcorn with drinks which is nice. 5 Star Rating We visit the Cafe' Delmas when we are in Paris (a few times a year) and today, again, we loved our stop. We say you cannot find better frites and their American Hamburger is just delicious - stands up to the best any where in the US and EU. Nice beverage selection. We never manage to order other things from the menu but looking around the plates look very good. Add to that we always have pleasant, professional and hard-working services that are part of what we enjoy. Finally, the Place de la Contrescarpe has a great vibe (a bit crazy on the weekends!)

4 Star Rating Me and a pal were in Paris for a few days for the Rugby World Cup, and we visited the Bombardier as we were told for sure they would have Rugby on the TV's. No disappointment there. The beer selection is enough and is all from their brewery back in England. I sampled a few of their beers and particularly enjoyed the Director's Cut. The servers are working hard both behind the bar and in front and appear slightly worse for wear but are friendly and efficient. The place is wonderfully old and just the right amount of shabby. There are a few tables outside where you can sit in the shade and gaze across at the Pantheon and the many tourists in the area. The Bombardier is not a tourist spot, it is an ex-pat pub run by Brits and it had a very welcoming vibe and plenty of regulars. I went there twice on Saturday, we shut the place down Saturday night, and twice again on Sunday. My first trip on Sunday, there were three of us, me, my pal and my serious hangover. But, a lovely Classic English Breakfast set me straight and the hangy took his leave early. Every component of that breakfast was cooked very well and I enjoyed every bite. The remainder of the menu is relatively simple, but the kitchen was steadily pumping out plates,so it would appear that the food is good enough. From what i saw passing by me, it certainly looked tasty. Go, drink beer, talk to people and have a good time, I certainly did.

4 Star Rating Eric Kayser is a Parisian boulangerie which branches scattered around the city including this place on Rue Monge. This is solid bakery with high quality bread products and good coffee. Opening hours are 7.30am to 8pm daily (closed on Mondays) We stopped here one early morning during a recent trip to Paris for croissants, pain du chocolat and coffee and found everything to be very good. The breads were flaky with soft, fluffy layers, much nicer texture than what we found at other places during this particular trip. Espressos also tasted very good. Note, there was only a few bar side stool seats at this Eric Kayser. Otherwise, just take-away order counter where the various bread, pastries and other products are on display. Would happily revisit this bakery again. It was the best place we found for morning coffee and croissants this time around in Paris.

3 Star Rating A cute Ethiopian restaurant 5th district in the Latin quarter. The manager is quite friendly and kind, and speaks English too. The food quality is ok (nothing wow about it, based on my other Ethiopian cuisine experiences in Geneva, Berlin, and Wien) and the presentation was nice too. The injera served here was quite light and less sour than the conventional ones, which was interesting. The space is quite small, so it is a bit cramped, and the toilet is clean, but quite dark, which wasn't my cup of tea. If in Paris and craving for some Ethiopian, this might be a spot to consider.
