Beautiful restaurant! Needed somewhere close to Paradis Latin for our evening so stumbled upon here on Maps. Small but atmospheric, good menu with lots of options. We got the charcuterie board which was lovely, enough for 3 people. I asked for a wine recommendation and the waitress was so kind and and suggested the Trebbiano which was lovely. The pizzas were delicious and the waitress was very accommodating that we paid before finishing so we could make it to the show. Lovely experience, wish we weren’t in a rush! Would definitely go back.

Had dinner at Quartier Latin and everything was amazing. We ordered a Margherita pizza, tagliatelle with truffle, and gnocchi al pesto all super tasty. The staff were lovely, and the place had such a nice cozy vibe. Definitely going back again.

An amazing Italian restaurant with authentic food and atmosphere. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming and really made us feel at home. The pizza was just like in Italy and it really is worth the visit if you are in the area. The location is very communicative near a few metro lines.

Excellent salad…fresh and colorful. The pizza was outstanding. Fresh vegetables as well. Service was personal and timely, but not overwhelming. Loved this place and will go back again next time we are in Paris.

As an expat in Paris, sometimes you just need a place where no one raises an eyebrow when you drown your potatoes and omelette in ketchup — or, heaven forbid, butter your bread! I bravely asked for ketchup, and instead of the usual Parisian side-eye, I was warmly presented with an entire bottle of Heinz! 😍 The cappuccino was excellent, and my cheddar cheese omelette with home fries was pretty tasty. Honestly, I just needed a little comfort food, and Breakfast in America definitely hit the spot!

Arrived first thing in the morning, no other clients around, and got served burnt black French toast like it was normal, with no apology from the kitchen staff…I was flabbergasted by their choice to send it out. They never should have thought this was acceptable. Too bad because the overall vibe is nice, the music is great, and the server was friendly.

The food looked tasty but was not amazing 😕 I was disappointed I ordered a lumberjack breakfast with a hot chocolate. The sunny side up eggs were bland and the toast i got to go with it was too. The bacon was good and the potatoes too but the French toast was disappointing. I guess they have an issue with the bread here. The hot chocolate was the best thing I ordered here. As a north American I feel misrepresented. Although the atmosphere was very American and the staff was fantastic.

the food was ok, simple, and the egg and sausage was good but small portion, pancake was fulfilling, American coffee was nice to try. service was good, and vibe is very American!

5 stars isn’t even enough to accurately portray how much my husband and I loved this place. It’s a special culinary experience. The food is divine and they give you so many treats on the house in between meals. The staff were some of the nicest and most caring I’ve ever met in my life. Worth every penny and more for a special occasion. We will be suggesting this place to anyone who visits Paris!

Unbelievable experience. I have dined at hundreds of restaurants throughout Paris and this is one of my favorites! The Truffle Inspired Tasting was just perfect. The Chef is an artist and his thoughtful creations are simply incredible. The wine Pairings with the tasting were amazing and well thought out and the staff was very knowledgeable about all the pleasures they offered to me. The staff was absolutely fantastic and I will be back for years to come💯🇫🇷💪

A really exceptional meal!
The service was excellent.
The guys were all so passionate about the food, the history of the dishes-we dont see that in London and it felt amazing. And the meal was capped of perfectly when the chef came out to meet us.
A fabulous little spot!!

Known for their truffle menu, and although we didn't pick that, we enjoyed the set meal that we picked.
The complimentary bread with truffle butter was a good starting point. Among the appetizers, the eggplant stood out for me, showcasing cooking techniques and out of the ordinary flavours. Of the two mains we had, preferred the steak. It's better than what we had from a Michelin-starred restaurant few days before. The prawn main needed a little more finesse, one piece isn't as refined as the others. They gave free lasagna topped with bone marrow. Loved it and it needed to go in their main menu.
Dessert came in a wide variety, but my personal favorite is the complimentary truffle ice cream. A bit hesitant at first but it was very delicious.
Service is excellent. Each dish is described in detail which sets the tone for each dish. A small hiccup at the beginning because the table is a bit dusty, might be an exhaust issue. Still complimented the chef before leaving because what a great meal that was.

If you are a fan of truffles, the flavors here are truly excellent and authentic! every bite was a culinary delight. However, be prepared for the bill. While the quality is top-notch, the prices are exorbitant considering the portion sizes you get in the area. I ordered two small plates that felt more like appetisers than main courses, and the total came to €107 without any alcohol!

Great bar , the barmen and locals are always cool. Any football game you want to watch they can probably put it on if you ask and there isn’t a big game on already. Pint (Kronenbourg)is good, but id stay clear of the Guinness. All in all a great bar with a good fun atmosphere.

I really loved this place. We entered by chance and it turned out to be a very great restaurant. The food was exceptionally good. Everything was well seasoned and tasted exceptionally good. The servers were really nice and cheerful. The place was nearly packed, but we were able to find a table. The prices are reasonable and good for the quality of food and service you get. If you are looking for a place to die in, this is a great suggestion for you, I totally recommend it.

We tried the empanadas (cheese and meat) to start — very tasty, with the meat empanada being a bit very spicy. For the main course, we ordered a mixed meat platter with rump steak, filet, sausage, entrecôte and faux filet. The meat was cooked à point (medium), perfectly juicy and full of flavor. My favorite was definitely the rump steak. We asked for fries on the side with the sauces served separately, which was a great choice — everything was delicious.

Great Argentinian restaurant (parrilla style) in Paris. The food was great and the service could not have been better. I’ve got a booking for lunch on Saturday for me and some friends. I wanted them to taste.
Although some may find it pricy, the ingredients were quality ones. That makes the difference in Argentinian cuisine.

My family visited Paris last week and found Cafe El Sur via a quick Google maps search as we were looking for a place to eat near our hotel. I’m glad we found this place because the food was delicious and service was amazing!! We ordered the croquetas de jamón, guacamole, papas fritas artesanas, and the Parrillada de Carnes (80€ ) We will definitely be stopping here next time we’re in Paris.

A bit off the main tourist attractions, but still very popular—there were plenty of customers. If you’re sitting outside on a sunny day, be prepared for the heat as there are no sunshades, which can get uncomfortable.
Prices are on the higher side. We wanted to try the daily special, but unfortunately, they had already run out of beef. Overall, the lunch menu was quite limited if you’re looking for a proper meal.
The burger patty was cooked perfectly medium, but it was quite watery and lacked flavor. On the other hand, the others at our table really enjoyed their Caesar salad and yellow fish dish.
Definitely try the vitamin C juice—it was a hit!

Nice little pub. Decent draught lager. Only comment I’d make is that everyone in the pub was there to watch the football and all the screen were playing the football but they never had the commentary on. Seeing as everyone there was watching the game you would have thought to not have background music on as it would have given an even better atmosphere with commentary.

Truly the best pub in Paris!!!!!! Absolutely amazing service, the bar staff is the absolute best. I've never not had the best night ever here!! Julien, Dori, and Keeva are always so welcoming. Get the sweet potato fries and the vintage cider for a hell of a time.

My first visit here was just for a baguette and chocolate eclairs. Both were so good. Surprised the baguette was warm since I bought it in the afternoon but so glad it was, as it was probably the best I've had. Crunchy outside and light inside. Add beurre aux sel de mar and it's all you need. There's another EK just up the street that serves good coffee and some different food items than the other store.

Eric Kayser is a Parisian boulangerie which branches scattered around the city including this place on Rue Monge. This is solid bakery with high quality bread products and good coffee. Opening hours are 7.30am to 8pm daily (closed on Mondays)
We stopped here one early morning during a recent trip to Paris for croissants, pain du chocolat and coffee and found everything to be very good. The breads were flaky with soft, fluffy layers, much nicer texture than what we found at other places during this particular trip. Espressos also tasted very good.
Note, there was only a few bar side stool seats at this Eric Kayser. Otherwise, just take-away order counter where the various bread, pastries and other products are on display.
Would happily revisit this bakery again. It was the best place we found for morning coffee and croissants this time around in Paris.

Not only was this the best Ethiopian cuisine I have ever had but it was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. My husband and I ordered the vegetarian entree and the meat entree. If it was indecent to lick the plate dry at the end, I would have. The lentils and meats were so savory delicious and the injera was pillowy soft and was the perfect tool to smash those dreamy meats in my mouth. The service was awesome...I am not sure if he is the owner but our server was incredibly kind and guided us on what to order. Coming from Los Angeles, there is a strong Ethiopian community on the west side. Nothing I have ever had in LA comes close to how amazing the cuisine at Godjo is. We will definitely be coming back before our time in Paris is over.

Dinner, Conversation and Cognac
Walking near the Sorbonne in the 5th District we came upon Le Buisson Ardent and saw a wonderful lamb entree on the menu. We settled in for 2+ delicious hours of cafe dining, including that lamb, dessert and cognac. All accompanied by the charm and conversation of the owner and young patrons surrounding us. Highly recommend!

Nice place to have French food. Staff is very friendly. We ordered a starter with beef which was a bit too salty. However, it came with very flavorful olive oil dressing. It would be good if there was some more salad. The shrimp salad is very good. I also ordered a mojito. It did not have enough lime😌.

Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a leisurely lunch, the people at Le Buisson Ardent effortlessly deliver both culinary excellence and a sense of ease that lingers long after the meal is over.
