Exceptional Stay - Outstanding Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is in a perfect location, close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. My room was quiet, spotless, and very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service. A special thank you to the Chief Front Desk Manager (Mr. Nourzed), whose professionalism, kindness, and generosity truly made a difference. He went above and beyond to assist my friends and me throughout our stay and graciously arranged a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. His entire team was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location. I will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Paris!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I had an amazing stay at Maison Albar Le Champs-Élysées. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, everything was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and made me feel right at home. A special thank you to the wonderful manager for ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed. I would also like to sincerely thank Véronique at the reception. She was incredibly kind, professional, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Her outstanding hospitality made my stay even more memorable. The entire team provided excellent service with great attention to detail. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my visit. Great Location, But Major Issues with some staff behaviour and Facilities While the location of this hotel is undeniable and incredibly convenient, our overall experience was severely let down by poor customer service and faulty room facilities. Check-In Discomfort We arrived early in the morning due to an early flight. While we completely understood that our room wasn't ready, the night shift receptionist immediately demanded a €200 deposit and the city tax without explaining any hotel policies or offering a basic welcome. When we asked to leave our luggage until check-in, he took our bags without saying a word. I had to ask if we needed luggage tags, and he initially said no. Feeling uncomfortable with the lack of security, I started recording a video on my phone; only then did he silently write out two tags for us. A little communication would have gone a long way. Room Issues and Unprofessional Staff Our first room had a broken telephone, forcing me to walk down to the lobby multiple times just to get basic assistance. Instead of being apologetic about the facility failure, a female staff member at the desk made a "joke" to my daughter, asking, "What’s up this time?" While it may have been meant lightheartedly, it felt dismissive considering we were dealing with broken room amenities. The Saving Grace The next morning, another male staff member was incredibly professional and helpful. He took the time to understand our issues and kindly moved us to a new room where everything, including the phone, worked perfectly. Final Thoughts Because of its prime location, this hotel will likely always stay busy during peak seasons, giving the impression that management doesn't need to prioritize customer feedback. However, I hope this review helps future guests know what to expect regarding the mixed service standards.

This is a nice and quiet hotel. The location is literally steps away from the Arch. Staff was very nice but we had a couple observations that doesn’t allow me to give 5 stars. The toilet, hairdryer, and fridge in the room didn’t work. Also they claim there is 24 hour room service- but when we tried to order the overnight staff told us they didn’t have anything. Beware the room service app is 24 hours: you’ll make the selection and pay- but it will never arrive. We went downstairs to inquire about the order and staff told us we weren’t going to get our order- even though we had paid. Beds were very comfortable and housekeeping was very thorough.

We loved the fish & chips! I just cut to see how fresh! Missing the smashed peas like we got in England. Very nostalgic name to this restaurant there shouls be more puctures of Sir Winston Churchill and Charles du Gualle! 😍 I love that you can pay via qr code and just leave no fuzz 😀

Nice place. Food was good. Ordered the lamb curry with add on salad. Remember this is Paris - for Asians - the favor in Asia would be stronger. The lamb is tender but came w 3 little pieces.

I was hoping to going there for some fish & chips but eventually went for breakfast-they were supposed to be legendary. Do NOT do it. Environment is cold, almost as cold as the bar tender that seems to totally ignore the meaning of the industry he is working in, service. And the waitress lady? Well she eventually knew we were there and seems to be she ignores also the meaning of waiting lady. Food? An over priced breakfast that you may get in ANY average cafe in Paris. Will I give them the chance for drinks? Maybe, but for food and breakfast never again: you don’t have to do it yourself.

It’s in a drugstore shopping centre which is very odd location so you have to go in and the resteraunt is inside down some stairs Taste and quality of the craft is excellent. Service people are good interactive. This dinner bellow cost 300€. The dinner menus consist of 2 sets and rest À la carte with a page full of tasting items(small plates) then half a plate of starters and half a plate of mains. The quail stuffed with duck liver very very good and the strawberry desert, blown sugar to make the shape of the strawberry and the stem and I’m not sure what the seeds are made of though. And inside is strawberry sorbet, cookie on the bottom and strawberry’s surrounding it and then pistachio grains surrounding the plate.

Overall I enjoyed the food but service wasn't great at this price point. My server tried but he had simply too many diners to look after. I wanted to order a glass of white from their 12€ per glass selection as soon as I arrived. They insisted in me talking to the sommelier but why? I just want a simple glass of wine. In the end I had to wait until my first starter was almost finished, asked the sommelier to choose one of the three wines from the menu selection, he chose a Chardonnay that was 40€ a glass which wasn't part of the selection. Now I enjoyed the wine but he should have at least mentioned the price. To get a second glass of wine also took a while for the same reason. It is beyond me why restaurants still insist in doing this. If I want a sommelier, I will ask for one. And the price hike just left a sour taste in my mouth. You would rather I wait 30 mins to get a glass of wine than just give me the glass of wine I want? Apart from this, courses were good. I went for 4 courses menu and got the lobster spaghetti as a supplement. I enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching the service with the neapolitan sous chef talking in my dialect. Super entertaining.

Overall: Very tasty, visuals top, you are not leaving hungry, standard drinks are very expensive. I would recommend this 1 Michelin⭐️ restaurant! Better than in other 2 Michelin⭐️ restaurants. We had been there for lunch and got the lunch menu. Yes, a Michelin restaurant with lunch menu! 55€, great price for the quality, cover with bread and homemade salted butter. 1 starter (cold or warm, each 4 variations), 1 main course (8 different ones), 1 desert (4 variations). You get asked what you want and can choose the respective combo from the available dishes. Some things have a surcharge of 15€ (f.e. Lobster). They also offer menus for kids, which, I think, is amazing and not usual. 35€, same procedure, and thoughtful for kids tastes, and what they would potentially eat. Everything is visually beautifully served. The service is amazing. Also funny, no stiff behavior, very considerate and flexible. Two things I want to mention: - The rooms are well air conditioned, sometimes a bit too chilly. If I would have known I would potentially decided to wear a second layer over my shirt. - the drinks are very expensive (soft drinks 0.33 8€, beer the same; non alcoholic mocktail 18€). That is, imho, even for Michelin too much.

We are a couple who love trying Michelin starred restaurants across Belgium and The Netherlands. During our short stay in Paris, we decided to try a Michelin Starred restaurant there. I must say, it did not disappoint! The lunch menu (€55) was a great way to get to know this lovely restaurant. We started the lunch with a very tasteful amuse bouche. Afterwards my husband had the veggie ravioli and I had the lovely ceviche. My ceviche was a combination of fresh raw fish with a lemon/zesty yummy vinaigrette, perfect to seasoning. As a main dish, I had the vegetarian option of quinoa with roasted vegetables and a curry madras sauce. The only point of critique was the cuissin of the carrots. They were barely cooked. Not al dente, but still very hard. (one piece almost went flying of my plate when trying to stick it on my fork). The rest of the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The dessert (apricot tart) was to die for! Another plus about our experience was the service! Everyone was nice, friendly.. The sommelier knew his wines and drinks and had no problem recommending nice wines to be paired with our starter and main courses. We even got an extra little course because I had requested to wait a while between starter and main course. This was a very lovely surprise! We had a great experience, and enjoyed the pommes purée to the max, they were delisious to say the least :) We'll be back!

The menu for lunch was confusing or was not explained properly. It’s about the formule, the cold starter, salad, main menu & dessert. I’m impressed with the food presentation but not the taste of the pasta😳the tiny bubbles in the sauce is unimpressive and I can taste coconut which to me doesn’t belong to pasta. The sea bream was exceptional, not impressed with the avocado but dessert is good enough. As for my espresso the waiter gave me the untouched one from the table next to me. I was about to complain but didn’t. I guess the client didn’t order it so instead of throwing it I ended up sipping it😳🤷‍♀️….

Very expensive, underwhelming lunch. Food was marginal with an average presentation. Bread and butter was sub-par (esp. for France). Short pour on wines by the glass. Service was basic and impersonal. room atmosphere felt sterile and had odd modern art bold ly depicting women. Altogether, a poor choice for our last meal in Paris. p.s. After reading the owner's response, we were shocked by their arrogant rudeness suggesting our standards are aligned with McDonald's!! I am trained in the culinary arts and have dined in many fine restaurants around the world. We are always happy to pay top dollar for quality food and service. This place was marginal at best, and their remarks are evidence of their unrefined character.

Spectacular food, splendid room. Wine list was a bit of a surprise with more great French wines than Italian ones. Service was good, just not great, as Italian restaurants typically provide more warmth and personal touches.

Well, my expectations on amazing cuisine were as high as the price I was expecting to pay… and both were what I anticipated. Thoroughly delicious meals that were perfectly plated, and a price tag to match. Yes, you get what you pay for here. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is quaint, and you will leave with a full stomach and empty wallet.

We had a best time here. As tourist, the atmosphere really welcoming and warm. Food was fantastic. We had Liguini with Prawn and Baby octopus, vanilla créme brulee, and hot chocolate. Definitely will recommend this place to our friends!

One of the first cafes I went to on my trip to Paris & definitely ended up going again. Food was delicious & I had one of the best martinis here. The view of the Arc de Triomphe as you eat is just beautiful. Definitely recommend checking this cafe out for a nice calm atmosphere.

Well located and has a cozy atmosphere. The food is decent, and I ordered the breakfast, which was fair for the price. The coffee and fresh orange juice were definitely the highlight. That said, the bread was cold and quite hard, and the eggs were very plain… nothing special or memorable. Overall, the food was average at best. The real disappointment, however, was the service. The waiters technically do their job: they take your order and bring the food but that’s where it ends. There’s no greeting, no smile, no basic courtesy. The attitude feels indifferent and borderline unpleasant, as if customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the place exists. It genuinely gives the impression they dislike their job and unfortunately, that energy is passed directly onto the guests.

We stopped by Cafe Lateral for a relaxed Parisian café-style meal, and overall the experience was pleasant enough, though not particularly memorable. Atmosphere-wise, it’s quite charming. We were seated inside a little glasshouse section of the restaurant, which I actually enjoyed. Sunlight was streaming through the glass, giving the space a warm, relaxed feel. It had that casual Paris café vibe that makes you slow down a bit and enjoy the moment. Food was a mixed bag. The French onion soup was good, comforting and flavourful, exactly what you hope for with a classic like that. The escargot tasted fine as well, though the portion felt quite small given the price, just half a dozen for what felt like a premium tag. The beef tartare was alright, but nothing special. Perfectly edible, just average at most. The creamy chicken with rice was decent and probably one of the more satisfying dishes we had. Simple, hearty, and straightforward. The pumpkin dish, however, didn’t quite land for me. It felt very one dimensional in flavour, lacking depth or contrast to make it interesting. Service-wise, there isn’t much to say. It was okay, very much what you’d expect from a typical Paris café. Not particularly warm or attentive, but not rude either. Overall, Cafe Lateral is a pleasant enough stop if you’re nearby and want a casual meal in a nice setting. It's a touristy area, just so you should know.

We had a quick oysters and caviar with some wine. The staff was lovely to accommodate us. Oysters were very fresh and delicious with house made tartare with truffle sauce. Caviar also one of greatest - we got the Saint James. The room style is great - art deco every detail is thought. Totally recommend for fancy date night.

It is a very beautiful restaurant with a solid selection of wines. It’s such a pity, that the food doesn’t deliver. It was overpriced, cold, and very salty. Both dishes that we’ve ordered were a big disappointment. When you spend 200€ for a diner you expect much more.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Chez Gabriel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We actually showed up thinking we had a reservation, only to realize we didn’t—but the staff handled the situation with incredible kindness and professionalism. The hostess graciously found a way to seat us, and from that point on, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel truly welcome. As for the food, it was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, showcasing the quality and care that goes into the menu. We left feeling very grateful for the experience. Between the excellent cuisine and the outstanding service, this is a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

Got here on one of the hottest days during the heat wave & was completely exhausted. I liked that the food was light and carefully prepared. It was so hot, I was nauseous and was worried that the sauces would be too heavy and I'd not be able to eat much. But the flavors were delicate and quiet perfect for me. I got the fish of the day with veggies as the main & white asparagus for appetizer. Wish I had more appetite to order a drink & a dessert. Its a cute little setting & would recommend getting reservations.

Food was good. Service was okay. Guessed I was the only walk-in so service was alright. Food was served fast. Escargots was good. Creamy and rich. Palerom was a bit disappointing. The beef was not as tender as expected, and the wine flavor was overstated, caused some bitterness in the beef. Potato was good though, kinda sweet, rich and creamy.

This quaint little restaurant serves up a great assortment of delicious dishes. I had the filet and my wife had the fish. Both were fantastic. The ambience was of a quiet intimate dinning experience!! Highly recommend!

We had a reservation for a group of four for dinner at Le Hide on a Saturday evening and really enjoyed the meal. We all opted for the prix fixe starter, main and dessert. Across the four of us we got to try the crayfish ravioli, foie gras tartine, lobster pasta, duck, chestnut cake, meringue cake, and mille feulle. The highlight of the meal for me was the meringue cake but unfortunately I was too excited and forgot to take a photo of it. It sounds like the menu here is regularly updated so I would definitely return if in Paris again. Thank you!

My friend from Canada 🇨🇦 recommended me this good restaurant and we went to have dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday 🎂. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The waitress Vivian helped to light up a sparking candle on the dessert, she and another waitress brought it to our table and sang Happy Birthday to my husband. It came as a surprise to my husband! We had a delightful night at Le Hind. This is a real gem 💎 in the centre of Paris. Would love to come back again. Thank you, two elegant waitresses at Le Hind, for your kindness! 🌹🌹

We revisited this French restaurant after 10 years, and it’s amazing to see how the quality has not only stayed consistent but feels even better than we remembered. Their signature pan-seared foie gras with candied fig is still exceptional — definitely not your typical foie gras dish. We also had the open ravioli with prawns and duck breast, and beef tongue for the main course, and every plate was beautifully executed and full of flavor. None of the dishes let us down, and each bite reminded us why we loved this place in the first place. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert this time, which just gives us another reason to come back sooner!

We booked ahead as we had a large group of 10, which they were very kindly able to accommodate. Delicious, thoughtfully-prepared French cuisine in generous portions. Dessert is absolutely not to be missed — tarte tatin pommes and the meringue cake were the favourites of our group.
