4 Star Rating Very lovely. We were given an upgrade which resulted in having balconies. I burned my elbow on the towel heater which was my neglect, really. The room service was a tad confusing but the service was friendly and the food was good.

3 Star Rating Very old and small hotel near arc the trumph. Staffs are nice. Don't know how it can rank 5 star on expedia.ca. 3 star will be more reasonable. We paided 5 star hotel price for 2 days stay. Will not come again.

5 Star Rating 4.5/5 - my only complaint is that the rooms are rather small and bathroom as well, but other than that this was a fabulous hotel and staff! Will definitely be happy to visit again. The location is also extremely convenient !

4 Star Rating Absolutely blessed to have been able to stay at Maison Albar’s Champs Elysees location for the New Year. Even though we had a first floor executive room (lowest level of rooms), we LOVED the fireworks. I loved being above the people on the street. When I envisioned my new year, I just wanted a relaxed “pop a bottle of champagne with fast food and cheese and saucisson” kind of new year. And that’s what I got. Other positives: the metro being near by, easy access for taxis/ubers, lots of shopping, bigger than average Parisian hotel room, amazing rainfall shower. Now the question… is it a 5 star hotel from a customer stand point? Not necessarily. I wish I could call it a strong 4, but to me it’s much more of a weak to mid 4. I didn’t feel THAT well taken care of by the staff, because it’s a little hard to get their attention via email (so be VERY self sufficient). I was getting emails that my prepayment for reservation was declined even though my card was charged and I would even send follow up emails. Nada. Don’t even bother with “checking in” with whatever link they send you because it doesn’t work. When we arrived last Saturday afternoon, we were also greeted by Maxence, who is an awesome front deskman, but gave me just a little bit of snooty attitude when I told him I had three reservations lined up for dinner and he thought they were all for the same time and I was being indecisive. He even went, “I know you Americans…” before I corrected him, haha. But he came through when we needed voltage converters and new key cards when ours would be deemed unusable by museum xrays. I also asked for a Chez Janou reservation, but again, no follow up, which is fine because my days were booked anyway. Moving on… breakfast is a HUGE miss. Their parlour is TINY, so buffet is just bread/croissants, like three cold cuts and cheese each, and yogurt. Some juice too. They also make eggs if you’d ask and tea and coffee. Didn’t see any milk or butter. But the choices are slim. I even witnessed another hotel guest keep asking for cucumber and tomato refill but they ultimately disappointed her. In conclusion, I had one goal: to have a view for the New Year. I met it. And I thank Maison Albar- Champ Elysses for that. But don’t expect spectacularity.

5 Star Rating First came here in 2023 but only for drinks and the atmosphere was lovely and calm but a very nice place. We came back and had food this time and it again did not disappoint, burger was perfect and the masala fries were phenomenal. Beer nice and cold and very welcoming staff and still a lovely place, definitely added to the permanent list when we return to Paris.

5 Star Rating We celebrated new years and it was incredible. The staff went out of their way To make sure it was fun and got us all dancing and meeting other tables. The piece de resistance is the proximity to the Arc de Triomphe and the fireworks. The food was good for such an evening and we recommend the fillet of beef. The pictures tell the story of the night and we will definitely be visiting again

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience at Sir Winston, right by the Arc de Triomphe. The food was absolutely delicious —I had the beef samosa and crispy chicken, both were perfect, and my partner loved the lamb curry with garlic naan. The cocktails were just as great! The atmosphere downstairs was dimly lit, super aesthetic, and romantic—exactly what we wanted for our last night in Paris. The staff were all friendly, especially our waiter Theo, who was amazing and so attentive. Hands down the best restaurant we visited in Paris. Highly recommend!

4 Star Rating Nice restaurant and atmosphere. However, beef tartare was meh (a lot of onion and not very good overall). Burger was ok. On the positive side - matcha / strawberries🍓 panna cotta was really delicious. Overall good experience, however, would avoid beef tartare.

4 Star Rating Good atmosphere. Good food too. Our favourites: the crispy chicken and onions bhaji with mint sauce. The signature to share dish was big! And the naan bread together with the samosas make great appetizers. The restaurant is beautiful too. To go again definitely.

4 Star Rating We were a group of 4 so was a bit surprised by the bar seats. Food was good but didn’t exactly blow my mind. Staff tried very hard to communicate with us which we really appreciate. The chef had frequent conversations to other French patrons but not us. Personally, I think conversations with chef are part of the experience and with AI and translation tools so readily available, I can’t say that I’m not disappointed that no effort was made with us. However, overall was an enjoyable night. Fulfilled a long time dream of having a Michelin experience in Paris.

3 Star Rating Had been to Joel around the world for over 10 times. Tried some classic items, the food was not as mind blowing as in other outlets, and some dishes are so salty (the staff said it is due to the raw material of the seafood, their sauce is okay, and not salty - made me quite speechless) service is not as friendly as well. The vibe is just off. For Paris, definitely St Germain one is way better.

4 Star Rating I visited this restaurant on January 10th for dinner. I had the vegetarian menu and everything tasted good except for the pumpkin soup, which turned out to be salty. They remade it, it was less salty but it also lost the richness once it had when I first had it. They gave me some mashed potatoes, which was phenomenal, and madeleine. The environment is nice and relaxing. The service was great.

5 Star Rating A Culinary Symphony at La Chiberta: An Unforgettable Journey Through French Artistry Dining at La Chiberta is not merely a meal—it’s an exquisite narrative of flavors, textures, and seasonal poetry. Priced at €145 per person, their Signature Tasting Menu is a masterclass in refined French cuisine, celebrating regional ingredients and innovative techniques. Designed for communal enjoyment, this six-course odyssey left our table in awe, each dish a testament to the chef’s visionary craft. 1. Green Asparagus from Roques-Hautes The evening began with a burst of spring: tender green asparagus, steamed to perfection with aromatic herbs, rested alongside velvety burrata and zesty citrus. Light yet deeply flavorful, this opener was a vibrant homage to Provence’s terroir, setting a tone of freshness and elegance. 2. Duck Foie Gras in Beeswax Luxury redefined. The foie gras, cocooned in golden beeswax, emerged silkier than imaginable, its richness delicately tempered by saffron and thyme. A dish that felt both opulent and earthy, it was a nod to tradition with a whisper of modern alchemy. 3. Crispy Red Mullet A Mediterranean jewel, the red mullet’s crisp skin gave way to succulent flesh, elevated by creamy cauliflower and a daring hint of Kerala black pepper. The spice lingered subtly, a warm crescendo that bridged continents without overshadowing the sea’s delicate bounty. 4. “Pil-Pil” Veal Sweetbreads A daring dance of land and sea. The sweetbreads, bathed in a garlicky olive oil emulsion, were paired with tender cuttlefish and crisp white asparagus. Umami-rich and texturally sublime, this course was a bold, harmonious ode to culinary daring. 5. Pre-Dessert A whimsical interlude: a palate-cleansing prelude that sparkled with citrus and lightness. Though details were scant, its refreshing zest primed us for the grand finale. 6. Spring Honey The dessert was a sunlit meadow on a plate—golden honey swirled with earthy sweet potato and tangy grapefruit. Each spoonful balanced sweetness and brightness, a poetic farewell to spring’s ephemeral beauty. Conclusion La Chiberta’s tasting menu is a triumph of imagination and precision. Each course, a meticulously crafted chapter, showcased seasonal ingredients with technical brilliance and emotional depth. At €145, the experience is a worthy investment for connoisseurs and curious epicureans alike—a celebration of shared joy and the artistry of French gastronomy. For those seeking a meal that lingers in memory long after the last bite, La Chiberta delivers nothing short of magic. *À votre santé!*

3 Star Rating A bit disappointing experience for a one star dining expectation. Starters are fairly good, yet both main dishes from me and my husband feels a lot flat from the look and taste. My dish was a Venison, the meat itself was actually good, but the burrata and blackcurrant sauce came with it doesn’t fit. The sauce is way too sour and compromised the taste of the meat. My husband ordered wild hare. We found three small bullets in the meat. Though it’s not unusual because of the hunting, bite on it while eating indeed hurt your teeth, our waiter could have warned us in ahead. Overall not very impressive dinner for this level.

The service was nice we went for 2 main courses instead to get a started. The front saloon of the restaurant looks nicer than the back were we were sit. The chef offers a nice combination of amouse bouche. We chose the 2 fishes of the menu. As well one beef.

4 Star Rating We had the chef special : whole chicken. It was really delicious and huge we have to take the remaining away as it was difficult to finish. They were generous on the truffle. They had a seaweed butter I remember which I didn't really like as it was too much of the sea fish taste. not really a good combination with the bread. Staff members are friendly. service is good. living up to the mMichelin standard but not exceeding it.

2 Star Rating Very expensive, underwhelming lunch. Food was marginal with an average presentation. Bread and butter was sub-par (esp. for France). Short pour on wines by the glass. Service was basic and impersonal. room atmosphere felt sterile and had odd modern art bold ly depicting women. Altogether, a poor choice for our last meal in Paris. p.s. After reading the owner's response, we were shocked by their arrogant rudeness suggesting our standards are aligned with McDonald's!! I am trained in the culinary arts and have dined in many fine restaurants around the world. We are always happy to pay top dollar for quality food and service. This place was marginal at best, and their remarks are evidence of their unrefined character.

5 Star Rating I've come here a few times for lunch and never thought about leaving a review until now! As someone who lives in Paris, I don't come to this area often around the Arc de Triomphe or Champs-Elysées, as generally it's so touristy but this place is my exception and it's great to meet up with friends. Recently renovated, it's a bright and cheery place, just like the service - very welcoming and swift, perfect for lunch. Food great - I've often gone for their vegetarian option, like vegetable curry. Salads tasty and this butternut roasted with tons of goodies and topped with parmesan and pomegranate was just the perfect lunch finished with their brioche perdue. I forgot to snap the last time, as was enjoying so much.

5 Star Rating We stopped by here after visiting the Arc de Triomphe. We ordered the cheeseburger and fries and got the mango tiramisu. Both were very delicious and plenty of food for two people to share. Their mustard is to die for. It is strong in the horseradish but we really enjoyed it. We never met a French fry we didn’t like in France and this in place didn’t disappoint. Don’t hesitate to order the cheeseburger thinking it is not French food. It was one of the best burgers we have ever had. We also try the Long Island Green Tea and grapefruit spritz. Both were very tasty and refreshing on a warm day in Paris.

Ordered the salmon for myself and it was perfectly cooked! They will ask you how well done you like it and I took it in the true Parisian way - a little pink. Salmon was flavourful and garnish was cooked well too. Husband ordered the duck and it came with a nice side of potatoes that were fresh! Crisp on the outside and soft inside. Lovely experience! Asif was our server and he was awesome! Helpful, amiable and he gave us such a pleasant experience.
