After having such great experiences I really wanted to give it 5 stars but the experience fell quite short. Upon entering I was able to get the seat of my choice which was nice. Also, the decor of the place was quaint and peaceful giving upscale vibes. I had the Cappuccino at the start and it was nice and warm for the cold weather. For appetizer I ordered pâté en croute, which was a pleasant surprise as it was my first time trying this dish. The salad accompanying it had a hint of heat reminding me of wasabi adding a unique twist to the dish. Loved it!
Got the Cassoulet for the main and it was just as good as the starter. Loved the flavours of the sauce complementing a variety of different meats harmoniously. An extremely satisfying main course. The dessert, however, fell flat. Based on the one most popularly ordered, they recommended the Armagnac Savarin. I was expecting the cake to be moist and flaky to the knife but it was anything but. The texture was coarse and the brandy poured on top of it kind of ruined the taste for me since I'm certainly not an alcohol lover. It was hard to finish as the bitter alcoholic flavours dominated the total experience.
Now for the service, overall it wasn't bad, but I just felt there was too much unnecessary jesting. Maybe because they are trying to break the 'french rudeness' stereotype, not sure lol!
So, if someone asked if I would return I'd say probably not. Ok for a one time experience.

absolutely magnificent! went here with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner and had a great time.
we ordered the salmon heart, beef with mashed potatoes (which were crazy smooth and tasty), cod with squash, and for dessert we had the profiteroles.
service was immaculate, mentioned it was my birthday and we got a complimentary ice cream with a little candle 🥰
really recommend if you’re looking for a fancy fine dining experience

Really nice old French classic atmosphere and food.
I've tried the snails and their special dish ( Hare a la Royale) which wasn't on my taste to be fair, it was severely bitter/poignant and I also found 3 hairs in the rabbit meat.
Really nice wine: Bordeaux blanc
Regarding the name, history and prices of this place, things like this aren't supposed to happen.
But let's say I was unlucky :) .

If there were 6 stars, that would be more appropriate. The food was exquisite, and the service was top notch. We had the cassoulet which was so very delicious and I can't wait to try making it at home - so much flavor. We had the foie gras which was absolutely decadent and delicious. Beautiful restaurant and fantastic service. Oh and they served little chocolates from Alain Ducasse which were the best we had in Paris. Magnifique!

Authentic, Refined, and Historic
Benoit Paris is a must-visit for its authentic 1918 ambiance—it’s classic Paris at its best. The food is unpretentious yet refined, staying true to traditional French roots.
I had the Christmas menu, and the Pigeon Wellington was absolutely amazing. The Lobster Bisque was delicious (though I would have preferred it a bit hotter), and the other courses and wine pairings were excellent.
A huge thank you to Manouk for the exceptional service. He was incredibly professional and friendly without being overbearing. An overall excellent experience!

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

Really liked the vibe of this restaurant. Our waiter was young, energetic and really charismatic. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations. It was really busy so the restaurant was kinda cramped and therefore quite noisy. The overall experience was still very enjoyable. All dishes were really tasty; I especially enjoyed the gratin that came with my veal steak. It had a nice garlic kick to it. We'll definitely come back during our next stay in Paris.

Amazing French restaurant in the Châtelet area, where I was fortunate to have a lunch today. Food is mostly traditional French, with seemingly simple ingredients, although everything was cooked to perfection and was melting in my mouth.
The staff speaks excellent English and showed amazing hospitality and professionalism. Very recommended.

Service is friendly, place is STUNNING
But I really disliked the onion soup. So much cheese, almost could not eat it. My firmed had the pumpkin risotto, which was flavourful but the rice was unfortunately overcooked.

One of the best parts of our first day in Paris. Simple charcuterie mixed board for lunch was PERFECT. Mix of great bread with ham, terrine de porc, truffle brie, compté, smoked sausage...quintessential Parisian eating. Service was quite slow (they forgot one of our coffee orders) but the dining experience was still amazing. Especially if you sit outside facing the beautiful square

The food is amazing, there are many types of wine, and the hosts are wonderful and speak English. The interior décor is better than the nearby restaurants.

It's still a very cool metal bar. The music is all kinds of metal, there are decorations all over the place and the best: Beer and food is awesome! The meat quality is superb and prices reasonable for the food. Friendly staff and free refill of your potato wedges ( if you ask for it) included.

Metal, mais pas trop… 😜
I took my husband here on his first trip to Paris. The food is so good and the meat was the best he’d had since coming over from the US.
Even if you’re not into Metal music, it’s worth booking a table for dinner here.
You’ll often see people in suits walking out after having eaten in the restaurant, while rockers enjoy a beer.
There’s also a metal club downstairs where you can have a great time dancing the night away

*Left my scrub suit behind , she even came for me. Kudos to her!

The paella was so dissappointing. It was served with a common plate instead of classical iron plate, and the paella was obviously already made for quite long as it was not hot at all. The taste is as same as the pealla I bought at Picard(frozen food chain store).
The tapas were ok. The only advantage is that this restaurant is open at the afternoon.

Five stars for a spectacular first dinner in Paris at La Robe et Le Palais. Over decades of travel we have enjoyed many memorable meals in this city, but this one truly stood out thanks to the warm, attentive service of the two brother owners, who impressively and graciously managed a very busy Saturday night dining room all on their own.
Their house-made terrine was delicious, full of flavor and clearly crafted with care. The catch of the day, hake, was beautifully cooked—perfectly tender—and served with a selection of tasty vegetables and a light, well-balanced sauce. My husband’s scallops were also perfectly prepared, with a lovely sear and delicate texture, although the accompanying risotto was a bit overcooked for our taste.
A special thank you to Euric, the resident wine expert, whose thoughtful pairings elevated our meal and whose other restaurant recommendations we truly appreciated. He also took the time to help me improve my French, which was such a kind and unexpected bonus.
Congratulations to the entire team at La Robe et Le Palais. This was a memorable evening, and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Paris.

The atmosphere here is great, the service too. The food complements this but their mains could be better. The kong platter was excellent and the desserts too (watch out for the 2000 Feuilles Pierre Hermé Paris which was spectacular).
To improve: The mains could be better, with the lobster udon especially having a sauce that is too rich and thick, for the chewy thick udon. Similarly the octopus felt like an incomplete meal, the dish didn’t feel like a main but more as a starter.

Been long time wanted to try this restaurant. Finally I had nice dessert time with my good friend here last night at the Châtelet–Les Halles branch which is nice neighborhood to hangout.
We had shared dessert a huge poffertjes/ giant choux cream with banana, almonds and chocolate dressings.
Taste really good for share but I think will be too much if you have for yourself only.
And the frozen yogurt here really good and taste healthy.

I visited Le Paradis du Fruit at Les Halles with my mom, and while the atmosphere was quite busy and crowded, the food and drinks were genuinely good. It’s located in a convenient spot right by the Forum des Halles, which makes it easy to reach while exploring central Paris.
As a vegetarian, I found that the menu didn’t offer a lot of options for vegetarians or vegans, which was a little disappointing — but the few things I did order were delicious. I had fries (frites), Cajun-style green beans (haricots verts cajun), and my mom had chicken (poulet) — she really enjoyed it.
The highlight for me was the spicy mayo that came with the fries — super flavorful! My mom ordered a margarita, which she said was very strong and very good, and I got a mojito mocktail, which was refreshing and well-made.
If you’re looking for a casual bite with tasty sides and good cocktails in a central Paris location, this place delivers. Just be aware it can be a little hectic inside if you’re looking for something quiet or cozy.

I came here for dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We had Marie as our server and she did a great job with our group. We started off with a mixed salad. Then we had two flavors, beef and ham. After, we moved on to dessert with a chocolate and then white chocolate raspberry. We also got unlimited food as well. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Definitely stop here for lunch or dinner.

Great price for great food. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food arrived extremely hot and fast. We ate the traditional type and enjoyed it a lot. One flam is too much for one person, we got 2 flams for 2 people (the waiters brought them one by one so they don't get cold) and we were so full we couldn't finish the second one.

We had our first (and last) dinner at their branch in Chatelet Paris… Regardless of the food quality or ambience, the place’s supervisor is a disaster; the man -called Marwan- doesn’t have the basics of hospitality, not only this but he lacked how to deal with his clients, how to talk or listen to them or how to accommodate; his rude tone & style is enough to let the clients stop going to the chain!
I recommend to the management of this chain to exhaustively train their stuff abc hospitality.

There was ample seating inside and easy to order drinks, they have some tables and seating outdoors as well. Overall a fun little bar if you’re in the area.

Atmosphere and service is awsome. The waiter was very kind and helpful. The music is great, some points are not good to see the show but still I liked it.
I see people always complaining about the bouncer but who cares it works like that in any single bar, club and nightlife in Paris. At this point you should either give 1 star to Paris nightlife in general or already understand how the bouncer work. They usually look for the same things drunkenness, clothes, group number.
And last but not least, is very expensive I mean I am a student and I do not have the money to spent in such costly pints. A student discount would be appreciated.
Martin Berisso - 10 months ago
A very busy rock bar, with both good and bad points. It's nice to see a local love music venue that is free to enter, however the beer is overpriced after happy hour, and it's cramped and crowded which makes it difficult to find anywhere to sit or move around. The toilets are tiny with nowhere to wait in line to use them, very wet floors and no toilet seats in the cubicles which means they are wet from others using them. I wish there had been somewhere to sit or stand or anything like that, and that the toilets had been better - because the music was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely!
