I had a wonderful experience at Benoit. The interior is beautiful, and the complimentary cheese bread was the perfect start to the meal. It was great enjoying our own champagne alongside their delicious dishes, and the red wine recommendation was excellent. A lovely dining experience—I’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic premium french bistro atmosphere with outstanding dishes. The daurade fish was cooked at the perfection, and I loved the asparagus seasoned with citrus. The sorbet with spices was expectional and the staff was so nice. We had an amazing dinner!

This is a lovely family-run restaurant that reflects the classic style of an old French restaurant. I really appreciate that they have preserved the traditional decoration, table settings, and cutlery. Everything inside the restaurant makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.
I visited during lunchtime and ordered the set lunch menu. The starter was brioche saucisson, which really surprised me. The outside was golden brown and slightly crispy. The sausage seemed to be baked inside the bread, which made it both flavourful and comforting.
For the main course, I chose the back of cod, which was cooked perfectly. The fish was very silky and tender.
For dessert, I ordered the Armagnac savarin, but it was a little disappointing for me. I expected a slice of cake with cream, but the cake was soaked with Armagnac, which the waiter added in front of me. Even though the wine was sweet, it left a slightly bitter aftertaste, and the soaked texture wasn’t something I enjoyed.
I also ordered wine to pair with the meal, but I think it wasn’t really necessary. Interestingly, the madeleine and chocolate served at the end of the meal were actually better than the dessert. The madeleine was freshly baked with a slightly crispy outside, which was delicious.
Overall, this restaurant is worth visiting if you want to experience a traditional French atmosphere and enjoy classic dishes that are not commonly found in other restaurants.

After having such great experiences I really wanted to give it 5 stars but the experience fell quite short. Upon entering I was able to get the seat of my choice which was nice. Also, the decor of the place was quaint and peaceful giving upscale vibes. I had the Cappuccino at the start and it was nice and warm for the cold weather. For appetizer I ordered pâté en croute, which was a pleasant surprise as it was my first time trying this dish. The salad accompanying it had a hint of heat reminding me of wasabi adding a unique twist to the dish. Loved it!
Got the Cassoulet for the main and it was just as good as the starter. Loved the flavours of the sauce complementing a variety of different meats harmoniously. An extremely satisfying main course. The dessert, however, fell flat. Based on the one most popularly ordered, they recommended the Armagnac Savarin. I was expecting the cake to be moist and flaky to the knife but it was anything but. The texture was coarse and the brandy poured on top of it kind of ruined the taste for me since I'm certainly not an alcohol lover. It was hard to finish as the bitter alcoholic flavours dominated the total experience.
Now for the service, overall it wasn't bad, but I just felt there was too much unnecessary jesting. Maybe because they are trying to break the 'french rudeness' stereotype, not sure lol!
So, if someone asked if I would return I'd say probably not. Ok for a one time experience.

Location and food was 4 stars. Service was okay. Came for lunch when they opened at noon. The service was a bit slow, it took about 1.5 hour from start to finish. The menu of the day was good price. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the main was good. My husband got the pork belly and I got the fish. Both were excellent!

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

I found this place by accident. The server was fantastic. I appreciate his effort to make sure my food had no dairy, provided I have a dairy allergy. Also the dessert was improvised, off menu yet delicious. One of my best experiences in Europe. Fantatic ambiance, great food, great wine, great server!

Really liked the vibe of this restaurant. Our waiter was young, energetic and really charismatic. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations. It was really busy so the restaurant was kinda cramped and therefore quite noisy. The overall experience was still very enjoyable. All dishes were really tasty; I especially enjoyed the gratin that came with my veal steak. It had a nice garlic kick to it. We'll definitely come back during our next stay in Paris.

Amazing French restaurant in the Châtelet area, where I was fortunate to have a lunch today. Food is mostly traditional French, with seemingly simple ingredients, although everything was cooked to perfection and was melting in my mouth.
The staff speaks excellent English and showed amazing hospitality and professionalism. Very recommended.

The food is amazing, there are many types of wine, and the hosts are wonderful and speak English. The interior décor is better than the nearby restaurants.

We came here for breakfast, very reasonable, and sat outside. It was a lovely setting and our waiter, Diego was wonderful! We are from the states and he spoke English very well as well as three other languages very friendly and accommodating! The food was very good. The presentation was lovely. I think it would be wonderful for fine dining, but we only had breakfast so I can’t recommend either way. But I would highly recommend this restaurant!

It's still a very cool metal bar. The music is all kinds of metal, there are decorations all over the place and the best: Beer and food is awesome! The meat quality is superb and prices reasonable for the food. Friendly staff and free refill of your potato wedges ( if you ask for it) included.

Metal, mais pas trop… 😜
I took my husband here on his first trip to Paris. The food is so good and the meat was the best he’d had since coming over from the US.
Even if you’re not into Metal music, it’s worth booking a table for dinner here.
You’ll often see people in suits walking out after having eaten in the restaurant, while rockers enjoy a beer.
There’s also a metal club downstairs where you can have a great time dancing the night away

Props to Lara Evaristo who made an amazing performance dancing and singing. She clearly transformed the place in a unique experience for us. You don't go there for the food but for a sweet atmosphere and a great spot among friends to chill. And gg to the nice staff.

The paella was so dissappointing. It was served with a common plate instead of classical iron plate, and the paella was obviously already made for quite long as it was not hot at all. The taste is as same as the pealla I bought at Picard(frozen food chain store).
The tapas were ok. The only advantage is that this restaurant is open at the afternoon.

Five stars for a spectacular first dinner in Paris at La Robe et Le Palais. Over decades of travel we have enjoyed many memorable meals in this city, but this one truly stood out thanks to the warm, attentive service of the two brother owners, who impressively and graciously managed a very busy Saturday night dining room all on their own.
Their house-made terrine was delicious, full of flavor and clearly crafted with care. The catch of the day, hake, was beautifully cooked—perfectly tender—and served with a selection of tasty vegetables and a light, well-balanced sauce. My husband’s scallops were also perfectly prepared, with a lovely sear and delicate texture, although the accompanying risotto was a bit overcooked for our taste.
A special thank you to Euric, the resident wine expert, whose thoughtful pairings elevated our meal and whose other restaurant recommendations we truly appreciated. He also took the time to help me improve my French, which was such a kind and unexpected bonus.
Congratulations to the entire team at La Robe et Le Palais. This was a memorable evening, and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Paris.

The atmosphere is definitely the highlight of this place. We visited in the late afternoon, and the view was absolutely beautiful. I can only imagine how stunning it would be at night. We didn't make a reservation, but luckily it wasn't too crowded when we visited.
The food was good, with a nice fusion style, but it wasn't particularly memorable. The prices are on the higher side, although that's understandable considering the amazing view.
The service was just average. The staff were polite, but nothing really stood out in terms of attentiveness or hospitality.
Overall, I'd recommend this place for the beautiful views and atmosphere rather than the food. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the Paris skyline. 🗼🍸✨

Kong was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Louvre and overlooking the Seine. The restaurant itself has a unique atmosphere with its glass roof and incredible views of the city.
We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how relaxed it felt. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were welcoming even though we were clearly tourists. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and worth the visit on its own.
What really sets Kong apart is the overall experience. Between the views, the architecture, and the Paris setting, it feels like much more than just a meal. If you’re looking for a memorable lunch spot in Paris, especially near the Louvre, Kong is absolutely worth the visit.
Richard Gilbert - 2 months ago
Had such a fun night at Kong. The atmosphere alone is worth experiencing — beautiful views, great energy, and such a cool Paris vibe.
The Kong plate was fresh and beautifully presented, the duck was rich and perfectly cooked, and the lobster spaghetti was definitely a standout. We finished with the chocolate dessert and caramel brioche… both unreal. The caramel brioche especially was next level.
Definitely more of an experience-style dinner spot, but we genuinely enjoyed the food, cocktails, and overall vibe. Perfect Paris night out!!
Sophie server was exceptional!!

All the food was wonderful, but 19 euro for 3 fried dumplings (chicken gyoza appetizer) is a little ridiculous. The restaurant space is great, the glass roof upper floor view is absolutely amazing, and the service is excellent. All the dishes we had were great (filet, duck, veal, prawns)- my daughter wanted to order another spicy edamame but I knew mains were coming right up. The desserts were great too. The cocktails were wonderful and appropriate for an Asian fusion place. Two thumbs up! Would come again.
Michael Yu - a month ago
Following in the footsteps of Sex and the City, we chose Kong to celebrate a very special occasion, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
There was a short wait for our table despite having a reservation, but it turned out to be a great start to the night. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some truly excellent cocktails, made even better by the incredibly friendly and charismatic bartender.
When we were seated inside the spectacular glass dome, it took our breath away, the setting is pure magic. The menu is highly interesting, and the dishes we ordered were absolutely superb, balancing unique flavors and beautiful presentation. A special shoutout to the waitresses, who were wonderfully kind and attentive throughout the night.
If you are looking for a glamorous, elegant-chic vibe to celebrate something special in Paris, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Good food with a nice theme throughout the restaurant. The menu is a bit hard to understand, especially with the “create your own appetizer” section. Overall, a good experience, though the service was a bit slow.

Queued for this restaurant today as a party of 2. First impression was the 2 ladies behind us in the queue got sat 5 minutes before we did.
The food was quite subpar… smoothie cocktails were sickeningly sweet and nothing special.
We never got served water at the table or knives. Only forks. While the rest of the tables have forks & knives on their napkins 😓😓
Will not come back again :(

Been long time wanted to try this restaurant. Finally I had nice dessert time with my good friend here last night at the Châtelet–Les Halles branch which is nice neighborhood to hangout.
We had shared dessert a huge poffertjes/ giant choux cream with banana, almonds and chocolate dressings.
Taste really good for share but I think will be too much if you have for yourself only.
And the frozen yogurt here really good and taste healthy.

All you can it flammekueche. It's a family friendly place were everyone can find something to eat.
A lot of different types of flammekueche are available and if you are 2 you can ask one flam's at a time but half with one topping and the other half with another one. The fam's are all goods.
If you are not a big eater don't go for all you can eat as you need to eat at least 3 flam's to be financially viable.
They also have a good selection of wine.
The atmosphere is good and the waitress really helpful to try to give you advice.

Great price for great food. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food arrived extremely hot and fast. We ate the traditional type and enjoyed it a lot. One flam is too much for one person, we got 2 flams for 2 people (the waiters brought them one by one so they don't get cold) and we were so full we couldn't finish the second one.

I came here for dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We had Marie as our server and she did a great job with our group. We started off with a mixed salad. Then we had two flavors, beef and ham. After, we moved on to dessert with a chocolate and then white chocolate raspberry. We also got unlimited food as well. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Definitely stop here for lunch or dinner.
