Corner restaurant in the heart of Paris. Today, we tried two dishes from the hotel chain: Escargot and Fish and Chips. The oysters were juicy with butter and pesto. The oysters were soft and clean. The fish and chip was usually saltier. The service was excellent. The view was great.

Beautiful atmosphere, best Mille Feuille had. Didn’t get her name, but host was spectacular. Confident and warm… professional and attentive, understood guest desire for space or not. Inspiring and educating. Great hospitality here, definitely taken time. Beautiful tailored uniforms too. Price point was steep, albeit experience was worth it.

The sandwiches were great, very fresh. I really enjoyed all the extras like nuts and olives. Also our server, Fraunsua was really great and took care of us.

Another beautiful restaurant in Paris. Good food, wonderful service and spectacular space. We loved it and had a wonderful family lunch here. Highly recommend.

Had a very nice lunch here. The croque madame is definitely very tasty, although for € 26 it could have been slightly bigger in my opinion. What I did like was the overload of ham in it! Amazing! Fries were included!
The cappuccino tasted very basic from your average kitchen coffee machine, the orange juice was tasty!

Booked for a Friday night & it was reasonably busy however the service was still good. The food was nice, the duck was really good. The salad was pretty average. Not a huge selection of drinks but that was fine. It was expensive but overall we were pretty impressed

Fantastic dining experience - from the textiles to the attention to detail… all perfection. Grateful for the late night dining option!!
We ended up doing the meal + dessert of the day - tremendous value! I’ve attached images for reference :)
Special thanks to Shimul for his five star hospitality and warmth. He was the cherry on top of a magical dinner.

Honestly very disappointed.
Food I would give it a 3 star, the shrimp/lobster and oyster was very good and fresh. But the half crab was clearly not fresh, it smells and tastes overly “fishy” and ammonia-like, the taste is an already a bit bitter and the texture turned mushy and overly dry. Also you can see from the crab leg meat clearly that the color of the meat is not white and turned very yellow even brown.
But I am sure they didn’t intentionally put unfresh crab for me, pre-cooked sea food like this can have this problem if not put in the right temperature or for a bit longer. But the way they dealt with it is very unprofessional and unacceptable.
They didn’t return it back to the kitchen to check the quality, instead just two waiter smell it and say it’s good then keep telling me it’s just my taste is not used to it. I told them from all taste, smell, texture and color the meat is off, but they just say that because they smelled it, it’s the right smell…and never with any apology…
And other parts of the service also very bad, I entered the restaurant and stood there for few minutes before anyone come to greet and lead me to a table. I ordered a sparkling water, asking them for ice and lemon, asked 3 times to 3 different waiter, all said yes but until I left it never arrived. I ordered a soup, but it never arrived, until I pay and left no one said sorry that they missed my order.
Overall, I think it’s a good restaurant worth trying, but the waiter’s service really needs to improve.

We’ve been in Paris for a week, and out of all the places we’ve eaten, Grand Café Capucines has been one of the absolute highlights. The service was truly exceptional—our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely made our dining experience special. The food was amazing from start to finish, but the French onion soup was a definite standout—a must-try! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. If you’re in Paris and looking for a great meal with top-notch service, this is the place.

Was not impressed with the steak. My instinct was to order the duck confit but I have this rule that I will order a steak of its a steakhouse. The steak was cooked good but had no seasoning at all. 1-star. The other items were ok but not great. I will be back to try again because I believe second chances.

It’s my birthday and I took a solo trip to Paris to celebrate. I had the peppercorn steak dish, goat cheese, a glass of white and a cocktail. I finished it off with a crème brûlée. I’ve always wanted to try a French crème brûlée as the English version is not as good. This was heavenly. I was served by two guys and they were great. Thank you Mathis 🔥🔥

Had a lovely meal at le patio Opéra. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The place itself is also a very nice space in a courtyard just off from the Opéra. I popped in at the end of a solo business trip to Paris. William gave me lots of recommendations for food and wine. I had the gnocchi with salmon which was delicious and also had a chocolate profiterole for desert. Left with a very full and happy stomach will definitely pop in again if I’m in town!

I liked the open kitchen where the lady was making dumplings. It seems that the restaurant is owned and operated by an elderly couple, who were very nice.
We ordered various dishes. Among those, I liked the Yangzhou fried rice. The dumplings were not good; I just couldn't understand why they were sweet. The Sichuan spicy fried chicken was also not spicy, but sweet. We arrived one hour before closing time, so maybe they were tired and provided subpar dishes. At least, that’s what I want to believe.

Food was GREAT 👍. The owners are very friendly and nice. When we asked for the best route to the Effie tower, they help us and provided several different routes.
Eat here and I’m pretty sure they (both food and service) won’t let you down! 😇
The plates are beautiful too! (Near the opera so you can come here easily )

Best xiao long bao anywhere you go. This is truly xiao long bao heaven. We ordered three different kinds, pork, pork w crab meat, black truffle. All good and distinctly different. The other dishes were just okay. If you are not a fan of xiao long bao, it may not be your best choice of Chinese restaurant. But we are, and we are very happy

Xiao long bao is very tasty! I also love bamboo soup, it tastes like the soup in my childhood China trip memory. However, sweet and sour pork wasn't sweet and sour as its name.

Loved the food here. Every single dish is of high quality. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a french cuisine. The service is superb. There's not much variety for the main dish and dessert but we were quite satisfied with the food. The price is also reasonable. This restaurant truly worth the visit.

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

I love coming to Mamou. It is now a stop off every time I am in Paris. Fresh seasonal menu, the owner explains the menu in great detail and possible in English which is very sweet. They also have the best bread on the table but remember to save room for their equally brilliant food. Friendly, no fuss, great food and location. What more can you ask for!

Mamou is French restaurant owned and run by Chef Monsieur Romain Lalu in central/northern Paris. His deputy is Julie who served as our main waitress tonight.
Pros: In short, this is the best French restaurant in Paris. The food was tasty, impeccably presented, the flavours and combinations showed imagination yet everything was oh so tasty. Chef Romain's skill is evident everywhere. His technical abilities amazing! Service was tip top too! Julie knows the food and drinks menu flawlessly. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect waitress! We were also impressed that Chef Romain said hello to us and replies to emails himself! Amazing! Chef Romain is the tall friendly man with dark hair and glasses who is the really friendly yet knowledgeable man who wanders the floor of his restaurant. Great value for money! The food is far too tasty for the very reasonable prices on offer.
Coms: None really. The only main suggestion is it would be nice if they could integrate their booking system with Google maps. That way, it would be easier for tourists to make a reservation.
Top tip: Listen to Julie. Suggest you order what she suggests. She was right: the mushrooms in a cream sauce was the tastiest starter. The veal with risotto similarly amazing! The Pina colada was the favorite desert on our table tonight!
In short, just go to Mamou. It's definitely the best French restaurant we have eaten at. And we'll definitely be back and again.
Congratulations once again to Romain, Julie and rest of the Mamou team! Job well done! I definitely be back!

It almost feel like you are dining at your family’s place. Nothing fancy about the decor, very rustic but what you get is an incredibly welcoming experience where the chef takes pride in the meal he prepares for you. Almost everything is made from scratch, with seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection, and taste so delicious!
Be sure to come with an empty belly because the portions are huge. You must have the starters.. we ordered the gravlax and gambas which was out of this world. Highly recommend the veal - it’s done to pinky perfection served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes that is elevated with earthy mushrooms that brings out the umami taste. Go for the beef tartare as it’s sooo fresh if you want something typically French. We were so full so ordered one dessert to share and they took the initiative to split it into two portions for us - this is first class service!
They even went out of their way to keep the restaurant opened way past their opening hour so we can continue our conversation. Definitely a must to revisit!

Warm atmosphere. Perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. We had a sandwich with hummus and avocado, chia pudding with strawberry purée, an egg bagel and some coffees. The peanut butter lattes weren’t a taste we’re familiar with and we didn’t quite enjoy those, but everything else was great. I can’t wait to return to France and go to Cojean again.

The Positive :
The location is top, service is good, friendly staff and good ambiance.
The negative :
not a good quality price ratio, I took the dessert ' Gauffre géantes supposed to be shared by two persons, it look great, the quantity was not sufficient at all, for 16 euros, this dessert is overpriced.
