The best New Year buffet in the universe!!! This was our third visit in the past 15 years. Café de la Paix has consistently been fabulous in every way. The menu was impressive, the staff were courteous and attentive, and we also had live music and opera singing. What a great way to start a new year! This is a place one must visit at least once when in Paris. A reservation is required, even if you are a hotel guest! Love, love Cafe de la Paix!!!

We had a super nice dinner . The pike quenelle and the scallops carpaccio with truffle was delicious! Also the rice and sea bass was good but the quenelle even better ! Highly recommended. The fruit salad one of the best I ever had 😍 Also a singer was there to make live music which was elegant and entertaining. The best place tried in Paris so far , useless to say because the palace is a stunning 1800 hotel building .

This is an iconic establishment well, well worth the very expensive visit. My husband and I ended a three and a half month trip around the world in Paris for my 70th birthday. We chose Cafe de la Paix for dinner on my birthday. The exterior is understated and the interior is something out of a fairytale! Atmosphere over the top! Opulent, gilded, over the top yet comfortable decor. It was Christmas time so a tree was up featuring ballet slippers. The staff is very warm and efficient. They responded promptly, courteously and friendly. The food was all we’d hope it would be. . . a feast for the eyes and palate. This is truly a dining experience! We are blessed to have visited this establishment. The staff did not know it was my birthday and at the end I was talking with one of the staff. She asked if it was our first visit, I confirmed and told her we were celebrating my birthday that day. She brought out a pastry with a candle . . . very unexpected and very much appreciated. Do treat yourself at least once and dine here. Expensive? Oh my, yes! Worth it. . . 🤩♥️

Great food, ambience and service!! -- All the served dishes were delicious and had good portions; as a tourist we were able to fully enjoy the authentic Parisien taste as well as the atmosphere in this classic grand cafe. Service was also superb with the waitor Elliot, very cheerful and reliable with explanations (including English), and who happened to be on his first day at the workplace! With the quality time offered here, we spent longer than intended without realizing it.

Classic French interior design and fantastic atmosphere at this Parisian restaurant. The staff member Alexander was very welcoming: he inquired about my origin, provided a Chinese menu, and his recommendation of foie gras was spot-on. My first taste of escargots was great, and the confit de canard did not disappoint either.

Overall, this was a less than average experience. The food was good, but the service really affected our visit. The 3 stars are only for our waiter’s attitude, he was fine. Unfortunately, the welcoming team was disappointing. They saw us several times sitting at the table and acted as if we weren’t there, which made us feel ignored. With better attention and hospitality at the entrance, the experience could be much improved.

My experience at Hippopotamus Steakhouse in Paris was truly exceptional! From the very first moment, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lighting, décor, and even the people inside created a wonderful and inviting environment, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. The food was outstanding — incredibly tasty, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried reflected high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. A special mention goes to the service, which was absolutely excellent and extremely attentive. The staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. It is clearly far superior to the corresponding location on 68 Bd du Montparnasse, both in terms of food quality and overall service and dining experience. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it!

Overall, it was a positive experience. The food was good and the meat was well cooked. The antipasti stood out, with some absolutely divine cheeses. However, the knives definitely need sharpening, as this would improve the experience. It would also be important to include allergen information on the menu for better clarity and customer safety.

We had dinner here on our last night in Paris, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was high quality and incredibly tasty. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening, filled with locals—which is always a great sign. Despite how busy it was, the service remained excellent. The staff was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and everything was beautifully presented. The combination of quality, flavor, and service made for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A cozy restaurant on one of the main streets just right in the Heart of Paris. The food quality (especially the steak) is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes and high quality of meals. The service is also satisfactorily acceptable.

Such a beautiful dining experience at Le Patio Opéra. We had dinner here as a group of friends and couldn’t have been happier with the evening. The terrace is elegant with a warm ambiance, making it a perfect spot to settle in to for a special night out in Paris. The service was welcoming and attentive, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious — every dish ordered at our table was enjoyed by everyone. Such a standout restaurant with a great atmosphere, lovely service, and exquisite cuisine. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Awesome experience. The food was delicious and very well presented (the veau is super delicious, the best I've ever tasted). The staff is very cool and friendly starting from the waitress arriving to the chef. And what about the environment? Super cool, this open patio in which you can eat outside also during the winter. What else I can say? Go there.

Starbucks on Boulevard des Capucines is one of the prettiest Starbucks stores in Paris. It’s located inside a converted 17th-century courtyard, and the interior is stunning and unlike any other Starbucks in the city. The staff member who served me was really enthusiastic and friendly. She appeared to have not only great knowledge about the coffee and the menu, but she seemed so happy to be there and helped make my experience a better one. I ordered an Iced Toffee Nut Latte, the coffee did taste slightly weak, and it was far too milky for my liking, but I liked how they served it in a regular glass, compared to paper/plastic I did find it to be very busy, even visiting at mid-day on a Monday, it was difficult to find a table, and the few free tables were unclean with crumbs/spillages/empty cups. One of the best-looking Starbucks locations in the city, with a super-friendly barista, although beverage quality and cleanliness could be improved.

Another ever so tlstarbucks ...starbucks! Menu currently set to all your fall favorites as it is October! The drinks are nice and hot or cold if preferred with their refressing taste. And the staff are very friendly and welcoming! The customers however, oi vey. Everyone could use a little kindness. Understandably it is a beautifully architecture building thats thats no excuse to be upset over the crowd or rude to the staff. Been multi times here and unfortunately the customers all seem overly hostile. Kudos to the staff for holding their joy and kindness despite the customers grumpiness. Swing by for a coffee and look around but be wary of the atmospheres

Date 13/10/2025: This SB outlet is most beautiful Starbucks around the globe. 5 stars decoration. But the cafe Latte lacks the aromatic taste and Barista must be trained to communicate with customers in minimum English. When we enquire why 3 cafe latte was made instead of 4, the barista keeps smiling with us. When we requested for the receipt to articulate our request he said bye bye to us,🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

We had an amazing dinner at Gandhi Ji’s, The food was absolutely delicious the garlic naan was soft and full of flavor, the butter chicken rich and creamy, and the chicken masala perfectly spiced. The chutneys were fresh and authentic, and everything tasted homemade in the best way. The owner even came out personally to check that everything was good. such a kind and genuine touch. Absolutely delicious food and a wonderful experience at Gandhi Restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially Mohammed, who is always kind and attentive. I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years, and every time I’m in Paris I make sure to set aside time to come here — more than once! Don’t forget to try their karak tea, it’s a must. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Gandhi Ji's — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every dish was a delight and truly showcased the best of Indian cuisine. What made the evening even more special was the service. Our waiter, Mohammed, delivered exceptional, attentive, and friendly service throughout our meal. He was knowledgeable about the menu, checked in just the right amount, and genuinely made our dining experience memorable. Food was excellent, and the co-owner was the server who talked to us as they had just opened doors at 1900H. Loved the explanation of the food and the wine, ended up with us just getting the bottle after tasting. We were given tap water and bread with butter to start, and the food was delicious 😋 Would recommend this diner, quieter than those along the main road.

We stumbled into Mamou one evening and found the restaurant completely empty, which made us wonder if we had made a mistake. Turns out it’s in a mostly business neighborhood and tends to be busiest during the day. But from the moment we sat down, the experience turned around completely. Gauthier, our waiter, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He seated us in a lovely corner of the restaurant and immediately put us at ease with his thoughtful recommendations. As soon as the food started arriving, our doubts disappeared. Everything was delicious. We shared several entrées and mains, including the tartare de bœuf, the quasi de veau, and the moules. Every single dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The dessert was just as impressive. By the end of the meal, we were smiling, full, and completely won over. It felt like our own private fine dining experience. Amazing service, great ambiance, and truly outstanding food. 10 out of 10, we’d absolutely come back

Variety of fresh juices, salads, snacks and the like. Cups are recycled and straws are paper which increases the eco-friendliness. People who work are kind and helpful. Soft music in the background and spacious comfortable seating. Recommended for brunch with family.

The breakfast was just okay. The portion size was a bit small, but the main food was served hot. The hot chocolate was very good. Around 11 am, many nearby breakfast places seem to close, so it was nice that they offered breakfast at least.

Yesterday my friend and I visited the bar and ordered an Espresso Martini. The cocktail was prepared right in front of us by a young bartender, and honestly, it was the best Espresso Martini I’ve ever had — absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and everything felt welcoming. Huge thanks to the bartender — you truly made our evening. We’ll definitely be back.
