The Café de la Paix is a Parisian classic.
While it is certainly not the cheapest spot in the city, the experience justifies the price.
The staff is warm and welcoming, the setting is absolutely stunning, and the dishes are both refined and delicious.
A place where history, elegance, and hospitality meet perfectly.

Probably the most luxurious breakfast I have had. Everything in the set is delicious. The hot chocolate is as rich as eating melted chocolate bar. The French toast is fluffy inside and crispy outside with amazing cream. I chose croissant which is buttery but not too buttery I like it. Overall a remarkable breakfast date in Paris.

We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Café de la Paix and were truly impressed—not only by the elegant atmosphere and delicious food, but also by the outstanding service provided by Linda. She was personable, gracious, and incredibly professional. Her warm and polite manner made us feel genuinely welcome and added a special touch to our experience. The meal was absolutely delightful, and the restaurant itself is stunning. A heartfelt thank you to Linda for making our lunch so memorable!

Amazing decoration!! Feels like a museum. I have been here few times. Always good food and quick friendly service . Had a cold tomato soup, and tomato filled with rice and meat oven baked and milefueille for dessert. All excellent. Beautiful ambiance to spend time in appreciating all the decorations.

We were seated after waiting about 5-10 minutes which was to be expected.
Beautifully decorated inside. Loved the decor.
We decided to sit inside due to the lack of tables available outside. We waited a long time for the waiter to take drink orders. By the time he arrived at our table we were ready to order food and drinks.
When food arrived, it was delicious and plated beautifully. Drinks were good. We waited again for a while for the ticket.
Prices were high but to be expected for the location of the restaurant.
Washrooms were quite nice but could be labelled better. Some other guests seem to struggled with going into the correct washroom. We were greatful for a lower level washroom for our family member who could not do stairs. Definitely appreciated that.
Overall nice visit.

We enjoyed the oysters very much! Franck and his colleagues are nice and attentive to our needs especially in helping us to change to more spacious seats. My husband and I had the best oysters ever!! We would definitely come back when we visit Paris next time!!😋😋😋

We had a nice time here thanks to Laurent (I believe he was at least the floor manager?) who explained me nicely the wine and the appellation and what he recommended alongside the food we ordered. This exceptional service on top of the ambiance of this place made the wonderful dining experience for us. Thanks again and I hope whoever will visit this restaurant will have a chance to meet Laurent.

We ended up doing the meal + dessert of the day - tremendous value! I’ve attached images for reference :)
Special thanks to Shimul for his five star hospitality and warmth. He was the cherry on top of a magical dinner.

I ate a menu, marinated butchers cut, it was super good. The waiters was super nice and spoke english very well. I didn't feel uncomfortable which is very nice as a first time traveler to paris. :)
It was cozy and the AC was nice and cool.

A romantic, beautiful, and quiet place with charm and excellent food. Very accommodating if visiting with a child – they’re happy to prepare a dish that’s not on the menu.

We held a small event in the downstairs area followed by a lunch in the semi-private dining room. The restaurant was busy but our host and the rest of the waiting staff were very accommodating including finding extra space and bringing lunch out early for those people that needed to rush off. The food and wine served was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely horrific service experience. Arrived at 12:15 and very clearly told the waiter that 2 of us had to leave by 13:30. By 12:26 we actually had our appetizers and it started well. But then by 13:20 we still did not have the main course. We waned them multiple times between 13:00 and 13:20. We ended up having to leave not having eaten our main course. Very poor service with waiters that kept just answering that "it is coming"...

I was recommended to visit this Starbucks on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris—not so much for the coffee (it’s Starbucks, after all) but for its stunning interior design. Housed in a 19th-century former bank building, it features ornate ceilings, marble columns, and grand chandeliers, making it one of the most beautiful Starbucks locations in the world.
The coffee is exactly what you’d expect from Starbucks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of pastries, far more than what I usually see in the U.S. It was a bit warm inside during my visit, but the atmosphere and architecture more than made up for it. A must-see stop for coffee lovers and anyone who appreciates historic Parisian elegance.

A surprisingly impressive Starbucks with a stunning interior—definitely one of the most beautiful locations in the chain. The grand seating area feels more like a historic salon than a coffee shop, and it's a great spot to relax or work if you can find a seat. Unfortunately, it's often very crowded, and seating is hard to come by. Still, if you're looking for a familiar coffee in an unforgettable setting, it's worth a stop.

I have visited the prettiest Starbucks in Paris. It’s set in a stunning old building, and the inside is full of charm with frescoed ceilings and chandeliers. It’s not like your usual Starbucks. Even though it gets really busy, it’s definitely worth a stop to grab a coffee and take in the view.

This has to be the fanciest starbucks out there haha the architecture and paintings are beautiful. Prices are fair, the tea was good, the pain au chocolat no so much. Great atmosphere and not so crowded, perfect to work on your computer

firstly, what a beautiful store! secondly, & more importantly, I ordered a iced lavender matcha latte (absolutely delicious) but it came with the wrong milk. I went to order another drink, when the cashier (Catherine, what an angel) told me not to worry & corrected my drink for me without a hassle & in the friendliest way! so so grateful for the experience!

The Butter chicken was delicious. Don’t miss the pees and paneer as well as the dal makhni. They have really good lassi too , in various flavors. Thank you for our excellent waiters .

Absolutely lovely! The hospitality, food and ambiance was great. We tried the pork xia long bao, popcorn chicken, crispy duck breast and steamed rice.
Everything we ate was delicious, the broth in the xia long bao was flavorful and the crispy duck breast was divine. Would 100% come back and recommend to others.

We visit regularly for the xiao long bao, which are the best in Paris. The chef is always warm and welcoming. The rest of the dishes are fairly average.

I liked the open kitchen where the lady was making dumplings. It seems that the restaurant is owned and operated by an elderly couple, who were very nice.
We ordered various dishes. Among those, I liked the Yangzhou fried rice. The dumplings were not good; I just couldn't understand why they were sweet. The Sichuan spicy fried chicken was also not spicy, but sweet. We arrived one hour before closing time, so maybe they were tired and provided subpar dishes. At least, that’s what I want to believe.

Food was GREAT 👍. The owners are very friendly and nice. When we asked for the best route to the Effie tower, they help us and provided several different routes.
Eat here and I’m pretty sure they (both food and service) won’t let you down! 😇
The plates are beautiful too! (Near the opera so you can come here easily )

Best xiao long bao anywhere you go. This is truly xiao long bao heaven. We ordered three different kinds, pork, pork w crab meat, black truffle. All good and distinctly different. The other dishes were just okay. If you are not a fan of xiao long bao, it may not be your best choice of Chinese restaurant. But we are, and we are very happy

Food was excellent, and the co-owner was the server who talked to us as they had just opened doors at 1900H. Loved the explanation of the food and the wine, ended up with us just getting the bottle after tasting. We were given tap water and bread with butter to start, and the food was delicious 😋 Would recommend this diner, quieter than those along the main road.

We stumbled into Mamou one evening and found the restaurant completely empty, which made us wonder if we had made a mistake. Turns out it’s in a mostly business neighborhood and tends to be busiest during the day. But from the moment we sat down, the experience turned around completely.
Gauthier, our waiter, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He seated us in a lovely corner of the restaurant and immediately put us at ease with his thoughtful recommendations. As soon as the food started arriving, our doubts disappeared. Everything was delicious. We shared several entrées and mains, including the tartare de bœuf, the quasi de veau, and the moules. Every single dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The dessert was just as impressive.
By the end of the meal, we were smiling, full, and completely won over. It felt like our own private fine dining experience. Amazing service, great ambiance, and truly outstanding food. 10 out of 10, we’d absolutely come back

Loved the food here. Every single dish is of high quality. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a french cuisine. The service is superb. There's not much variety for the main dish and dessert but we were quite satisfied with the food. The price is also reasonable. This restaurant truly worth the visit.

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

Went in for dinner and we were the only patrons on a Wednesday night, as the place is usually busy for the business lunch crowd. The chef/owner, Romain, was charming and hospitable, describing each item on the menu in great detail and offering tastes of the recommended wine. Our meal was delicious; perfectly prepared and presented. We had a very memorable dinner and can’t recommend Mamou highly enough!

Warm atmosphere. Perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. We had a sandwich with hummus and avocado, chia pudding with strawberry purée, an egg bagel and some coffees. The peanut butter lattes weren’t a taste we’re familiar with and we didn’t quite enjoy those, but everything else was great. I can’t wait to return to France and go to Cojean again.

On our walk to Sacre Coeur we spotted Le Paradise du Fruit next to a couple of other establishments. It looked so much nicer than the others so we chose to refresh there. It was a Sunday morning so quite quiet although it got busy very quickly. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He pointed out the barcode that we could scan to have the menu in English. We had coffee, a cocktail and the avocado with toast. The drinks were perfect and the food was amazing. When we asked for the bill we were given a barcode to scan so we could see our bill, pay it and also determine our service charge. This is a fantastic idea.
We will definitely return. If you're in the area then give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
