5 Star Rating My recent stay at Le Pavillon de la Reine was truly memorable, and the hotel's reputation for elegance and exceptional service is well-deserved. The location is perfect, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a special circumstance arise with my booking, and the staff, particularly Alan Lepage, the Assistant General Manager, handled it with great care and professionalism. Their solution only reinforced the exceptional hospitality that defines this hotel. I truly enjoyed my stay and will most certainly return! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a special experience in Paris.

5 Star Rating My mother and me stayed at Le Pavillon de la Reine for a week and had a wonderful stay. Our room was fantastic, the hotel location cannot be beat, the service is phenomenal, and the food (you must have dinner at Anne restaurant!) was amazing! I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

5 Star Rating One of my favorite meals in Paris! Food was simply delicious. Standout dishes were the escargot, fried fish (starter), duck, and chocolate mousse. Ambience is great too and servers were fun and friendly! They even gave us a shot of chestnut liqueur to end the meal. Would definitely recommend!

5 Star Rating There are restaurants one enjoys, and there are restaurants one remembers. Chez Janou belongs firmly to the latter. Tucked into the heart of the Marais, Chez Janou embodies the soul of Parisian conviviality — warm, unpretentious, and quietly confident in its identity. The atmosphere is effortlessly charming: lively yet intimate, animated by conversation, clinking glasses, and the comforting rhythm of a place that knows exactly what it is. The cuisine is honest, generous, and deeply rooted in Provençal tradition. Each dish arrives without theatrical excess, relying instead on flavour, balance, and sincerity — the hallmarks of enduring French gastronomy. And then, there is the chocolate mousse. This is not merely a dessert; it is an experience. Undeniably, without hesitation, the finest chocolate mousse I have encountered in my life. Its texture is impossibly light yet profoundly rich, striking a rare equilibrium between intensity and elegance. Served in abundance — a confident, almost audacious gesture — it needs no embellishment, no reinterpretation, no apology. It stands alone, sovereign in its simplicity. Chez Janou does not chase trends, nor does it seek validation. It exists as a quiet institution, beloved because it is authentic, consistent, and timeless. A place one returns to — not out of habit, but out of affection.

5 Star Rating It is very rare that a restaurant becomes a memory, but Chez Janou did exactly that. This is the kind of bistro that makes you understand why the French guard their food culture so fiercely. I ordered the escargots, the ratatouille, a bottle of wine, and of course the legendary chocolate mousse that everyone talks about. The escargots were exactly how they should be: rich garlic butter, tender snails, nothing rubbery, nothing overdone. The ratatouille tasted like something a French grandmother would make at home, slow-cooked, layered flavour, fresh vegetables that haven’t been cooked to death. But the real star is the chocolate mousse. They do not serve you a “portion”. They bring an entire bowl, the size of a cooking pot, and simply scoop it onto your plate without ceremony. No pretension, no fancy plating, just unapologetically indulgent chocolate. Smooth, deep, not too sweet, and probably the best I have ever had. The bistro is loud, warm, slightly chaotic in the best way, with tables squeezed together and waiters flying around but still managing to joke and smile. It feels like eating inside a postcard of Paris in the 60s. An absolute must.

5 Star Rating The pizza at this restaurant was excellent - the crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The Caprese salad was also delicious, with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had a rich, savory sauce that was perfectly balanced. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for tasty Italian food. Amazing Panna Cotta!!! One downfall is that they do not take Amex (American Express).

5 Star Rating Stumbled upon this place as I was strolling through the Saturday flea market. Instantly loved it because of the vibes and music that they were playing. Came here for a light lunch and was absolutely delighted. My friend and I both ordered lemonade. She got the mint and I got the lavender one. Both were delicious. The lavender one was more sweet and the mint one was more sour. We also ordered a half order of the roasted vegetables with feta. It was a 10 out of a 10 so yummy. And then we both split the small artichoke pizza with arugula on top. Also a 10 out of 10. The pizza was so good. It was thin crust not soggy. The flavors were so delicious. We honestly loved everything we ate highly recommend.

5 Star Rating A massive grazie mille to Grazie in Paris! We were absolutely starving and decided to just pop into this spot, and what a fantastic decision it turned out to be. The food was nothing short of amazing. Seriously, this pizza felt like we were instantly transported to Naples, Italy—the crust, the fresh toppings (that Margherita/Caprese-style slice with the cherry tomatoes and basil in the picture was perfection), it all hit the spot! And can we talk about the bathrooms? Such a unique vibe! The disco balls and music were a fun, unexpected touch that added to the whole experience. If we're ever back in Paris, we will definitely return, and we wholeheartedly recommend Grazie to anyone in the area looking for authentic, incredible Italian food with a cool atmosphere. Five stars!

5 Star Rating I first visited L’Ange 20 about ten years ago, and it instantly became my favorite restaurant. On my recent trip back to Paris, I knew I had to return — and I’m thrilled to say it’s still just as amazing as I remembered! The food is outstanding — excellent quality, generous portions, and incredible value for the price. I loved it so much that I brought my parents along, and they agreed it was the best meal we had in Paris. I highly recommend trying the lamb, their specialty. It’s served piping hot, perfectly tender, and bursting with flavor — absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, which makes the experience even better. It felt like the chef was perfectly in tune with our meal, timing each course as if anticipating when we’d be ready for the next — a level of attention I’ve never experienced before. Overall, L’Ange 20 continues to reign supreme as my favorite dining experience in Paris. Outstanding food, warm service, and unbeatable value. Highly recommended!

5 Star Rating Went there to try their famous Beef Bourguignon. Were seated on the ground floor of the Cafe. Found that they included Beef Bourguignon into their lunch sets and happily saved a few bucks while having their desserts. From the drinks menu we picked small bottles of water, but the beautiful waitress, who speaks perfectly fluent English, offered us the more budget option of a big bottle of water to share instead. You know the Cafe is definitely not a tourist trap when they don't just take easy money from foreign visitors. The meat is tender and matches perfectly with creamy mash potatoes. The serving size is just right to save a little space for dessert, and the creme caramel is the perfect ending to the meal. Warm service, great price, hearty food. Would recommend to anyone interested.

2 Star Rating Had dinner with a friend in April 2025 and the experience was very, very disappointing. We paid €170+ each for a 6-course dinner (€150 + drinks) and expected really good food at least however this was not the case. One of my dishes even came with PLASTIC... The first appetizer that came out was interesting and delicious, however the second - the raw fish that looked amazing at first - was dry and flavourless - "seasoned with salt," the host explained. The third was the asparagus and I have to say, I do not know whether I was more shocked by the piece of PLASTIC that found its way into the dish or the immense lack of any depth of flavour.. I realised I did not take a picture of the plastic, maybe as I was too shocked. Later the host explained that this was an accidentally cut piece from the piping bag which is actually rather understandable, however all we were given to remedy this shock was a tiny free cheese platter. We still ended up paying the full €170+ each. A fish main course followed and my guess is it was the same raw fish but cooked this time. Why serve the same meat twice? Again it tasted like it was boiled only with salt, lacking any other flavour, and was served with slimy peas. My friend did not like both the texture of the fish or peas so much that she did not eat it. I have to say that the duck course was extremely delicious, tender and had a deep, satisfying flavour. The desserts course was excellent. The ambianced was a relaxed, intimate setting, nothing special but still lovely nonetheless. All in all however, for that price, I would definitely not recommend the experience that this restaurant offers. As a whole, besides the delicious duck course and desserts, the experience was very sub-standard for Michelin: shocking lack of flavour in many of the dishes, very long waits between some of the courses, the plastic that ended up in my food, an insufficient apology, and the fact that one the waiters could not explain our dishes well in English - giving up halfway at one attempt - (surprising as even staff at small cafes during our few days-trip to Paris trip spoke enough English) and had long, dirty nails.

5 Star Rating Qui plume la lune was my first experience in a Michelin Star restaurant, and what a memorable experience it was. Food: We had a three course lunch, and every dish had something completely new that I hadn't tried before, be it an ingredient itself or the combination of it. Especially, the dessert was phenominal as well as the plating. However, the coffee we ordered for dessert wasn't great. It tasted fairly burnt and bitter. Doesn't take away anything from the good experience overall, but I would expect a better coffee in such a place. We paid 70€ per person, and it was absolutely worth it. Certainly, it is a culinary experience that's worth saving money for or to have on your bucket list. Service & ambient: The service was impeccable throughout the lunch. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and incredibly attentive. The restaurant is fairly small and gives you a very private and cozy feel. The interior is on the darker side but with a good amount of light and colorful spots of bright colors, which give it a great contrast.

5 Star Rating Absolutely delicious. The food had excellent flavors and fresh tastes. The staff is incredibly friendly. I saw that there was a person who gave the restaurant 1 star because they didn’t allow bathroom access to a non customer. Whoever you are, shame on you. There are restaurants that gain their livelihood on whether they get good reviews or not. Thanks again, for the great meal. Would recommend 10/10.
