Absolutely wonderful stay at Pavillon de la Reine! The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and professional. The location in Place des Vosges is unbeatable, quiet yet central. Our room was spotless and elegant, with a perfect mix of comfort and charm. The ambiance throughout the hotel is peaceful especially in the courtyard.. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to return!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Impeccable service, warm and welcoming staff, brilliant design. The neighborhood is charming and quiet with lovely shopping, restaurants and easy metro access. The decor is well appointed yet comfortable. The best part is definitely the people. The concierge staff helped plan our trip and made wonderful recommendations. Reception staff and attendants are so warm and attentive. This place is magic!

This is a wonderful Paris hotel. The larger rooms are bright, roomy and airy - a rare luxury in Paris. The elegant lobby and charming front garden are its greatest feature. We appreciate the small, sophisticated touches that elevate the experience further and communicate that you are valued; the moment you enter the room: you are greeted with a vase of flowers and a box of luxurious, fine chocolates. Perfect touch
The rooms can use touch up painting here and there, especially in the toilet area, but Le Pavillon de la Rein remains our favorite hotel in Paris.

The location is unparalleled, right on Place Des Vosges. The private courtyard is idyllic. The hotel decor is a bit dark, but the choice of materials is exceptional.
The room we stayed in was rather small, and the bathroom (toilet was in separate room) didn't allow for more than one person to use it.
The bed and linen were some of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. Felt like sleeping in the clouds.
The staff was incredibly polite, kind, helpful and professional. Everything was handled beautifully and we were left wanting nothing.
I would have no hesitation booking Le Pavillon de la Reine again

A beautiful historic space with a magical interior courtyard and cute old-school Parisian rooms.
Concierge was very helpful, but hoped the service was more consistent. One morning our breakfast which was supposed to be delivered just never showed up.

Chez Janou was everything I hoped for and more! A friend recommended it and it truly didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was amazing—bustling, packed, and full of that charming, authentic French vibe. You’re seated close to others, but it just adds to the energy and fun of the place.
We went around 1pm on a Friday and waited just over 40 minutes for a table inside, so I’d recommend booking ahead if you can. If not, the staff mentioned that 5pm is the best time to go without a wait.
The food was incredible. We had the mussels—unlike any I’ve had before and a must-try! The risotto with scallops was perfection—super fresh, easy to eat, and packed with flavour. The crayfish and grapefruit salad was another standout—refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The front-of-house manager is a total character and really brings the vibe together. He won’t explain the entire menu to you, but that’s part of the charm. The rest of the staff were a bit busy, so don’t expect constant check-ins, but it didn’t take away from the experience.
Highly recommend—you’ve got to go!
AB - 2 weeks ago
We were fortunate to get a reservation online as they recently opened this option. The mussels, ravioli in cheese/cream sauce, and chocolate mousse were 5/5. I felt my lamb was a bit under seasoned and rarer than I expected as I had asked for medium; sauce was good. My husband’s salmon was a bit overcooked but crayfish sauce on risotto was excellent.

We had an incredible experience here. The food was absolutely amazing—probably one of our favorite meals in Paris. The value was incredible too. We’ve had meals that cost double and weren’t even close to as good.
We ordered the liver, the duck (a must-try), the chocolate mousse, the crème brûlée, and the risotto—everything was absolutely delicious. The food was a 10/10 across the board. We’d definitely go back.
The staff had a lot of character. The queue manager was honestly pretty rude—very short with everyone waiting in line—but it was almost comical. Once you got inside, the whole vibe changed and the service was genuinely warm and attentive. They even comped our champagne that we had while waiting, which was a really nice touch.
We also got to sit outside, which made it even better. Overall, just an awesome experience and truly memorable food.

Absolutely incredible experience! The duck and potatoes were simply delicious, especially the sauce — unforgettable. We left the wine selection up to the staff, and we were very happy with their choice.
To finish off the meal, we had the chocolate mousse, which was truly one of the best we’ve ever had — definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was warm, local, and authentic, which we really appreciated. Yes, it’s a bit small and tightly packed, but honestly, that only added to the cozy, intimate vibe.
At the end, they offered us a melon-flavored pastis, which we were told is something they’re known for — and it was amazing!
Make sure to book in advance. We stopped by on our first day in Paris to make a reservation for four days later, and even then, we had to wait a bit despite having a booking. Totally worth it though!

Absolutely the best meal we had in Paris. The duck is absolutely outstanding, the scallop risotto is delicious, the chocolate mousse is to die for. Martin recommended a great red wine and a very delicious Rose. We came to eat here twice and both times were just outstanding.
The service is incredible and adds to the outstanding experience. Martin really went above and beyond to make our experience very memorable. We were also lucky enough to see all the chefs take a meal break at 5, so we were able to thank them and take a photo. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely return when I’m back in Paris.

Delicious Italian food, very welcoming and friendly staff, not expensive. We did not have a reservation and were seated immediately. We two split pasta with large shrimps and porcini mushroom sauce, plus a small salad. Amazingly delicious. Small place and full of Parisians. Delightful. Will go back for more!

Stopped in 15 minutes before close and got a pizza to go... they were very nice and accommodating, eager to get me something fast. I had a lovely glass of wine while waiting. Pizza was delicious! Simple Margherita, but nicely flavored with crisp yet chewy crust. Warm ambience, will return next time to eat in!

Late night. Hungry. So we stopped in off street without reservations. We were seated immediately!
Prompt service. Food was good. Not stellar, but it hit the spot.
Highlight was the Dolcetto. Very good and good price.
Rocket salad also good.
Contemplating dessert as I write this.

The pizza at this restaurant was excellent - the crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.
The Caprese salad was also delicious, with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had a rich, savory sauce that was perfectly balanced. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for tasty Italian food.
Amazing Panna Cotta!!!
One downfall is that they do not take Amex (American Express).

Excellent cocktails and wines to match the delicious roman pizzas and truly italian starters. Charchiofi a la giudia were delicious and crispy. Small sizes give you the possibility to try out more dishes. The scroppino whipped lime sherbet with mezcal is an interesting twist to a classic italian dessert. Grazie !

Had the best lunch here! Excellent service, food was outstanding, and the picante oil can’t be beat! We had the prosciutto e bufala which was excellent, and one of the pizza specials which was called pizza chic with shaved cured pork, rosemary and arugula—also excellent. Our daughter had the margherita and loved it. Highly recommend getting the picante oil to drizzle on top! Just the right amount of heat!

Very good experience walking in off the street. They serve food continuously, so no break between lunch and dinner. The broccoli anti pasta was intentionally served cold but was full of flavor. The ricotta pizza was delicious. Don’t forget to ask for the picante oil. Would definitely go back.

One of my favorite places in Paris. This little Italian place has a lot of entrées that I love : the vegetable plate, the eggplant parmagianno, the beef carpaccio… (they change the menu once in a while so you get to experience new ones every time you’re there.)
As for the pizza i always get the truffle pizza i love that its kinda spicy.
They also have a great wine collection.
And the tiramisu… that’s love.
I heavily recommend it.

I had dinner at Restaurant L'ange 20 last night, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—the staff were not only attentive but also warm and friendly, which made the atmosphere feel very welcoming.
The decor was absolutely charming, adding a cozy yet elegant vibe to the evening.
We started with the grilled confit chicken gizzards, smoked duck breasts, and mixed salad, which were all well-prepared and flavorful. My husband had the seven-hour lamb fondant with vegetables and sautéed potatoes—incredibly tender and full of rich flavour. As for me, I ordered the beef chuck braised in red wine with pan-fried foie gras, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes—and honestly, it was the best dish I’ve had in Paris so far. Everything was perfectly cooked, **melt-in-your-mouth tender**, and packed with deep, satisfying flavours. To finish, we had the pistachio crème brûlée. Absolutely divine and the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a memorable French dinner in a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A small, boutique restaurant. Easy to find. The welcome was good. First you see the ceiling covered by old magazine papers. The lamb was well cooked, delicious. Wine was regular. The tables we're so little and close to each other. So you have to be so sincere with neighbour table :)

Absolutely the best meal we had in Paris! This restaurant has an amazing reputation, and deservedly so. At first it seemed as if they have cornered the market for American tourists, which seemed to comprise every diner in the place. And if they have, good for them. Far be it from a tourist trap, this was truly an amazing culinary experience. With so many other Parisian restaurants simply giving up any attempt at quality of food or service, this place still earns it's reputation. One of the most memorable meals ever. Reservations a must!

Great discovery in Paris! Cute little restaurant that transports you to Spain in no time! Super cozy place with good food, perfect for friends, girl dinners and dates…
Frederika Yace - 4 months ago
This is not an easy review to give, I feel very conflicted. Visited the place for the first time and it seemed really promising until the sangria arrived. Authentic looking deco, nice vibe, at least some of the waiters seemed to be Spanish/Latin American. But the sangria… we were 4 women, and none of us wanted a second glass to finish the jug. It just tasted wrong (I don’t claim to be an expert but I’ve had sangria multiple times in and out of Spain). And then. I wasn’t hungry so I just ordered patatas bravas. What a disappointment… the tomato sauce was as if directly from a tin, and there was nothing interesting and no depth in the flavours. My friend’s calamari seemed decent but two others ordered the empanadas with tuna and were not impressed. The service was ok (in France overall you can’t expect much) but somehow I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars. Such a shame, this experience, I love Spanish food and would have loved to find a new favourite (the fantastic Le Petit Calamar no longer exists…). I might return just for drinks, thanks to the deco and vibe - but I won’t touch the sangria!

Although we preferred French cuisine in Paris, we came here because we couldn't make a last minute reservation. We're glad we did. Everything was really delicious. The number of employees was low, we sometimes waited a little to order, but they were all very nice!

It's a wonderful place to hang out with friends and enjoy delicious tapas and paella. The paella portion was really huge; it was meant for two portions, but we couldn't finish it all. It was one of the best paellas I've ever had. They have a really delicious cocktail list, and I especially enjoyed one called the Valencia. It's very refreshing and tasty. All the staff were very nice and friendly, and the restaurant was packed with people, even on Sunday. I had a great time there. I would definitely come back!

Been twice to this typical French bistrot!
Great decor, authentic Parisian vibe and very kind staff!
Their signature dish is the bœuf bourguignon served in a casserole: very tasty, tender meat with delicious & perfect mashed potatoes! (Though not the best boeuf I’ve ever had but ranked in the top 5)
The second time, we tried the côte de boeuf: succulent meat, savory, well seasoned with delicious baby potatoes. Well worth it!
Nice selection of wine (Chateauneuf was exquisite).
And their Mont blanc dessert was superb: unctuous chestnut cream with soft meringues… hands down the best dessert on the menu. The chocolate fondant was very tasty as well.
Unmissable address for a true Parisian experience!

Came here a little late because it was the only slot available. Had high hopes for the boeuf bourginon but the taste fell a little flat for me. Everything else was delicious however, and our waiter was great- until he took our order for dessert and left without delivering? Prices also ran a little high, not sure I will return again.

Incredible. Can’t recommend it enough. We got escargot to start and it was bubbling in hot garlicky oil and was sooo good with the bread they served. We got the beef Bourguignon and the meat was so tender and the sauce was so rich. And we also got the gnocchi that was equally as good. The service was amazing as well we get so welcomed and the atmosphere was very romantic and chilled. Would 100% go back was by far our best meal in Paris.

I had a good feeling about this place and it's safe to say it was well worth the try. We chose this place to have dinner on New Year's Eve and the food was delicious, the staff had a vibrant energy and we had an amazing time. Also, as I discussed with a waiter, the pop music contributed to the not-too-serious and fun atmosphere. Will definitely visit again once I return to Paris!

Had dinner with a friend in April 2025 and the experience was very, very disappointing. We paid €170+ each for a 6-course dinner (€150 + drinks) and expected really good food at least however this was not the case. One of my dishes even came with PLASTIC...
The first appetizer that came out was interesting and delicious, however the second - the raw fish that looked amazing at first - was dry and flavourless - "seasoned with salt," the host explained. The third was the asparagus and I have to say, I do not know whether I was more shocked by the piece of PLASTIC that found its way into the dish or the immense lack of any depth of flavour.. I realised I did not take a picture of the plastic, maybe as I was too shocked. Later the host explained that this was an accidentally cut piece from the piping bag which is actually rather understandable, however all we were given to remedy this shock was a tiny free cheese platter. We still ended up paying the full €170+ each.
A fish main course followed and my guess is it was the same raw fish but cooked this time. Why serve the same meat twice? Again it tasted like it was boiled only with salt, lacking any other flavour, and was served with slimy peas. My friend did not like both the texture of the fish or peas so much that she did not eat it.
I have to say that the duck course was extremely delicious, tender and had a deep, satisfying flavour. The desserts course was excellent. The ambianced was a relaxed, intimate setting, nothing special but still lovely nonetheless.
All in all however, for that price, I would definitely not recommend the experience that this restaurant offers. As a whole, besides the delicious duck course and desserts, the experience was very sub-standard for Michelin: shocking lack of flavour in many of the dishes, very long waits between some of the courses, the plastic that ended up in my food, an insufficient apology, and the fact that one the waiters could not explain our dishes well in English - giving up halfway at one attempt - (surprising as even staff at small cafes during our few days-trip to Paris trip spoke enough English) and had long, dirty nails.

We recently dined at Qui Plume la Lune and were served the 5 course (Angela) dinner with wine pairings which lasted just over 3.5 hours.
Service throughout was professional, at times there were long lapses in between courses. However everything served on the evening was excellent.
Most enjoyed on the evening were the cold soup (starter), lamb (main) and cheese selection. Staff explained dishes and wines in good detail, execution in the kitchen was in perfect form on the evening.
All in all, this was a lovely dining experience. Very impressed on the evening and would gladly reserve for another meal at Qui Plume La Lune during future trips to Paris.

Just amazing. Food is outstanding, been to a few * restos in France, this seemed the best so far. Exclusive and special without being up themselves. Attentive but not intrusive, serious about food and wine but not obsessive, time flew by and allowed us to focus on savouring the experience in great surroundings. It made a special night extra special, not cheap but great value. Congrats to the team.

Definitely a superb one star Michelin destination. Everything from the entry, staff, service, sommelier, food and more. Qui Plume la Lune, it's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. My second visit, and just as amazing as the first. This place holds a Michelin star, and believe me, it's well-deserved. The food is exquisite, each dish a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. But what truly elevates Qui Plume la Lune is the service. Our waiter, Sigurd (fingers crossed I got that right), was the epitome of attentive and discreet. He anticipated our every need, guided us through the menu with expert knowledge, and made us feel like the only diners in the room. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Qui Plume la Lune is a must. It's that rare gem that combines exceptional cuisine with impeccable service, leaving you wanting more and more. The fish dishes were delicate and so expertly prepared my favorite protein. But the real winner were the desserts. So creative with a porcini mushroom ice cream that was not expected but was so delicious. The lychee ice cream balanced so well with the herb ice cream. So full, happy and can' wait to come back again.

Absolutely delicious. The food had excellent flavors and fresh tastes. The staff is incredibly friendly. I saw that there was a person who gave the restaurant 1 star because they didn’t allow bathroom access to a non customer. Whoever you are, shame on you. There are restaurants that gain their livelihood on whether they get good reviews or not. Thanks again, for the great meal. Would recommend 10/10.
