During our staying in Paris this week, we had a wonderful dinner at Buddha-Bar with our kids. The atmosphere was exceptionally vibrant yet cozy, the staff very polite, the food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The kids loved every bite and especially loved the lively music and décor. A great and unforgettable experience for all our family that we will treasure among the exceptional memories of this special holiday!

When I go to Paris I always try to do dying at the Buddha Bar. This experience was as spectacular as all the others.
An incredibly cool venue, excellent food great cocktails and the service was world class.
Note this is not a inexpensive restaurant. Cocktails were in the $30usd range. While we had more cocktails than the average diner our bill for two people was approximately $400USD
It definitely should be on your bucket list if you're visiting Paris.

The vibe at Buddha-Bar is definitely what stands out – the decor is stylish and the ambiance is chic and trendy. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a cool dinner setting in Paris.
The food was good, and the menu had some nice options. Nothing blew us away, but everything we had was enjoyable. Service was just okay – not bad, but not particularly attentive either.
Overall, a good spot for a night out with great vibes. Go more for the atmosphere than expecting a mind-blowing meal.

We have been to Buddha-Bar a few times to celebrate various life events because the vibe and decor is just unlike anything else. It is THE coolest looking restaurant inside - I literally feel like a celebrity walking into this restaurant. The first time we went our entire table got the sushi 'menu' - it was good quality, tasty sushi. The second time we went we had a table of 10 people so some people ordered the sushi 'menu' and others the food 'menu' so we got to try a lot more of the dishes offered. The food offered as part of the set menu was hit or miss. Some were really good, others were just okay. We didn't really care for any of the desserts. Next time I think we will stick to ordering the sushi 'menu' or ordering a la carte from the menu because most of the things we wanted to try were not offered on the set menu
The service was pretty decent - no complaints. The cocktails were fantastic - especially the one that looks like passion fruit soft-serve ice cream. It was a big hit at our table.
What we did not expect at dinner was entertainment. Our first time to this restaurant was on a weekday and there was no entertainment. This time we had booked on a Friday night and there was a woman singing popular songs (Copacabana, Valerie (Amy Winehouse), etc) while walking around the tables. Maybe it is a weekend thing.
I would recommend Buddha-Bar more for the vibe than the food. It really is impressive. And a bit dark - so not a lot of photos of the food!
Krista Breaux - 4 months ago
It's a little dark restaurant, but the atmosphere is wonderful. The food was good and the experience of sharing with colleagues is very good. Music was loud, but you could easily hear other people in your table.
The decoration is beautiful, and in concordance with the style of the whole restaurant.
In all a wonderful experience and the waiters were so helpful and some spoke several languages

A Saturday night in Paris and the 5-course tasting menu for two with a bottle of wine. French fine dining at its best with all the classical touches - a good excuse to dress up and drink fancy wine. Remembered for dishes I don’t normally enjoy but loved. Masterful use of mushrooms, beetroot and asparagus. Perfectly cooked mains, craft and technique everywhere. The ambiance was a little quieter and the service a little colder than we are used to.

Dining at this restaurant was completely unplanned, but we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic — even though it’s only a one-Michelin-star restaurant, everything felt above and beyond expectations. The staff was incredibly thoughtful; when I mentioned it was my birthday, the chef generously brought out a delicious cake and came out to celebrate with me. I’m so happy we had the chance to dine here — it truly made for a memorable meal!

Service is ok, they could make the staff explain the food better. For 100e+ what u get is pretty decent but not mindblowing great, vibe is ok

I had the five-course with wine paring. The sommelier’s selection of the food and wine pairing was deliberated. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and flavourful. The asparagus was my favorite! Nice combination with ice cream.

Excellent food. We ordered the a la carte menu. The dishes were perfectly made. We ordered the scallops and lobster. It was amazing. I also ordered the potato pie as starter which I truly enjoyed.
The desserts - especially the chocolate one - that's probably one of the most memorable chocolate desserts I've had in a while. The perfect combination.
Highly recommend. It wasn't very busy but service was quite slow. It looked like the staff were still in training so most of what we asked about the dishes, they had to keep going back to the kitchen to ask.

I love this spot and have visited numerous times over the past few years. Yes, it is on the 'touristy' side but it is not a trap...far from it.
The service is excellent from the moment you walk in. I came at the start of dinner service so everyone was putting in their orders around same time. It was a very timely experience, didn't feel there was a long wait or rushed at all. TIP: Do look at the dessert menu as you would need to place the dessert order at same time as your mains.
I enjoyed the foie gras terrine with small foie gras souffle the most. It's rich but not overly so that you couldn't finish the plate.
The plating of my scallops could use some finesse, but scallops were cooked perfectly to medium.
Then finally, I went with pear & chocolate for dessert. If you're a huge chocolate lover, the sauce is amazing.
The dining space is small but relatively on the quiet side even with all tables around me occupied. Reservations are highly recommended!

We ordered the beef bourguignon and foie gras souffle and for dessert, pear and chocolate and Gran Marnier souffles. My only complaint, I wish they were more generous with the foie gras pieces and for the Gran Marnier souffle, to be sweeter since all I tasted was alcohol. Otherwise, food was good and service was very attentive.

We had dinner on our sixth & thirtieth nights in Paris. Everything was so fabulous we booked a second night here we had open. We started with onion soup, mini cheese soufflé and salad that we shared, we both had the Henri IV soufflé for the entree and we shared the Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. The soufflés are beyond delicious and light as air. We highly recommended this restaurant when in Paris, it’s a must. Reservations are highly recommended, the experience and the staff are just amazing given what they do in the space that’s interesting and cozy comfortable?
Bon Appetit!

the souffles were absolutely delicious!! we would definitely visit again to explore more of the menu flavors + seasonal offerings. we enjoyed 3 different souffles, both savory & sweet. they were incredibly light, full of flavor, & cooked to perfection. the accompanying sauces were equally as flavorful.
we were placed in the back room (seemed like all kids + american tourists were placed back there), so it was quite loud vs being able to enjoy a quiet dinner for 2. the waiter rushed us a bit, coming back numerous times to ask, ”are you ready to order?”. we would have preferred to have more time to review the menu offering, while enjoying our wine.
we hope to return again & give it another try since the food was outstanding (hoping the back room was just coincidence & the waiter was having an off night). merci beaucoup!✨

We had the most wonderful meal today at Le Soufflé. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
We were very happy with our meals. I had the spinach and cheese soufflé as a main and pear soufflé with chocolate sauce for dessert, both were so delicious and I wish I had more days in Paris so I could have come and eaten here more than once.

Beautiful place hidden in a cute little nook just off the madeleine. Perfect place for a coffee and dessert during your walk in downtown Paris. A little bit on the expensive side but overall worth it.

We dropped in for drinks one evening and regretted not being early enough for food. An error we rectified the following evening.
Good quality food, a lovely atmosphere and delightful service. It’s the perfect place for drinks or an early supper - beware though - they close at 8:30 as a result of the gates of the shopping Mall being locked.
Final shout out to the manager who sprinted up the road to re-unite my wife and her phone. We’d managed to get quite a distance before he noticed and it would have been very easy for him to give in. He didn’t and we will be eternally grateful.

This was a random spot we stopped by between Dior and Chanel. Overall, the food wasn’t bad. I especially enjoyed the avocado tuna and the carpaccio de bœuf. I wasn’t a big fan of the beef tartare, which tasted a bit bland to me. The waiter was friendly and the place was nice too.

The food is average, coffee is good. The toilet room was dirty, no soap, no paper, but it’s not a cheap place)))
The cafe is located in a quiet street, among boutiques. At lunchtime they will let you in if you will eat. prices are high, service is ok

The service was absolutely exceptional — all the credit goes to our incredible server, Axel, who made the entire experience unforgettable. His attention to detail and warm professionalism truly elevated the evening.
The food was delicious, each dish clearly crafted with care and premium ingredients. While the presentation wasn’t quite my style, the flavors more than made up for it.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the atmosphere. The elegant interior and live music created the perfect setting — far more beautiful in person than any photo online could capture. It was an experience that felt both refined and heartfelt, and I can’t wait to return.

Great looking place and a true Back in Time experience. That it’s great and amazing about the place.
The food was expensive but that was to be expected. However the quality was average for the price. The place was noisy but again, it’s a popular location and there were quite a few people so that probably can’t be helped.
The service was only ok (again considering the location) and I was less than impressed with the attitude at the end when I chose not to tip.
Would I recommend? Yes. Once. It’s a unique experience. In a sense and worth doing it once.

we loved it. came last night super late at 10:30pm and weren’t sure if they would let us in because we weren’t in dress code (men have to wear jackets) but they were so accommodating finding us a table and they provided a suit jacket for my boyfriend.. the food wasn’t anything to write home about but none the less the live band, interior, and incredible service made this an amazing experience.

This was our second visit back to Chez Monsieur. And it was just as awesome as we remembered it.
Get everything they recommend. It was amazing. I dream of the Veal Stew. Spectacular! So tender and creamy and unexpected.
The cheese raviolis with green peas as garnish was also exquisite. The green peas popped in our mouths.
Our favorite restaurant by far in Paris!
Scott Law - 7 months ago
The service was superb by the waiter and the waitress. The little taster provided was really nice and presented perfectly.
I had the snails and the blanquet de veau. The snails as you can see by my photo were huge. Like you'd see on old fossils on nature programmes. The garlic sauce was fantastic.
For main the veal stew was sublime. Lots of it with the copper pot it served in. The veal was tender, the potatoes lovely and soft. The bacon added saltiness to it to make the cream sauce taste amazing. So a great dish. This was recommended by Fred Siriex on twitter a few days prior and he was correct. Superb.
For dessert had tje crepes suzette. Maybe it was a personal opinion but i disliked this. The sauce was horrific but may be due to my own taste. The crepes were tough in parts to cut so even if had a different sauce I'd still give it a bad review.
The salad starter my partner had looked awful and she said it wasn't great, and her main dish the gnocchi she said was only ok. I think she chose poor so my review is based upon my own dishes.
The chablis wine was very nice.
Overall decent in parts so 3.5 out of 5

Wonderful experience! Some close outdoor seating but we made some wonderful new friends from Singapore. Food was delicious. Our server was very sweet, kind and attentive. The best meal we had throughout the city. We had a beautiful night with an amazing meal. The service and the food was just as you hope for, everything was perfect. We all had something different ordered and they all came out cooked perfectly and the presentation was spectacular. Top everything off with a nice bottle of wine and an out of the world dessert, the creme brulee was terrific.

We had a wonderful dinner at Maison Blossom, located inside the Sofitel Hotel. A friend invited us, and it turned out to be a great recommendation.
If you're driving, just be aware that the street in front of the restaurant doesn’t allow parking. Fortunately, there’s a large underground parking garage near the Place de la Concorde—just about a five-minute walk away. The short walk takes you past the U.S. Embassy, which makes for a nice, quiet stroll.
The restaurant is beautifully designed, with both indoor seating and a lovely garden area. Since it wasn’t crowded, the atmosphere was calm and perfect for chatting with friends over dinner.
The menu isn’t extensive, but the food was excellent. Each dish was beautifully plated and full of flavor. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the evening.
If you’re exploring this area and looking for a peaceful, elegant place to enjoy a relaxing dinner, I highly recommend Maison Blossom. It’s much more comfortable and enjoyable than squeezing into an overly busy, trendy spot.

Even though the atmosphere was buzzing with chatter and laughter, the food truly stole the show. The onion soup was a masterpiece—rich and flavorful, captured the essence of the authentic recipe perfectly. For my main dish, I chose the Vol-au-vent with chicken, and it did not disappoint! The combination of tender chicken, earthy mushrooms, and a delectable sauce was simply divine, each bite a delightful harmony of flavors. And those French fries! They were outstanding—thin, crispy, and perfectly salted, exactly how I love them.
