The vibe at Buddha-Bar is definitely what stands out – the decor is stylish and the ambiance is chic and trendy. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a cool dinner setting in Paris.
The food was good, and the menu had some nice options. Nothing blew us away, but everything we had was enjoyable. Service was just okay – not bad, but not particularly attentive either.
Overall, a good spot for a night out with great vibes. Go more for the atmosphere than expecting a mind-blowing meal.

We have been to Buddha-Bar a few times to celebrate various life events because the vibe and decor is just unlike anything else. It is THE coolest looking restaurant inside - I literally feel like a celebrity walking into this restaurant. The first time we went our entire table got the sushi 'menu' - it was good quality, tasty sushi. The second time we went we had a table of 10 people so some people ordered the sushi 'menu' and others the food 'menu' so we got to try a lot more of the dishes offered. The food offered as part of the set menu was hit or miss. Some were really good, others were just okay. We didn't really care for any of the desserts. Next time I think we will stick to ordering the sushi 'menu' or ordering a la carte from the menu because most of the things we wanted to try were not offered on the set menu
The service was pretty decent - no complaints. The cocktails were fantastic - especially the one that looks like passion fruit soft-serve ice cream. It was a big hit at our table.
What we did not expect at dinner was entertainment. Our first time to this restaurant was on a weekday and there was no entertainment. This time we had booked on a Friday night and there was a woman singing popular songs (Copacabana, Valerie (Amy Winehouse), etc) while walking around the tables. Maybe it is a weekend thing.
I would recommend Buddha-Bar more for the vibe than the food. It really is impressive. And a bit dark - so not a lot of photos of the food!

The pros
Amazing atmosphere
Great music
Excellent service
Overall great food
Great cocktails
The cons
Expensive
Some portions are kinda small for their price
Dishes you should try in my personal opinion
Rock shrimp, dumplings gyozas , duck , cod and finally the cheesecake!

The food here is amazing. Compared to other popular spots I was blown away by the food. The drinks are strong and not watered down. I had the ribs and I was speechless. The dessert wasn’t that sweet which I felt was a good thing. The sushi rolls divine. I would highly recommend this place. My one grip is being asked to leave a tip. This is Paris, the tip is included in the bill.

Me and my mom went here for a special dinner and had such a wonderful evening, the food was amazing, one of our dishes was so good we ordered it again for desert ! The drinks were really creative but above all was the amazing service : a special thanks to our servers Baptiste and Foued who truly went above and beyond making sure me and my mom were looked after. I look forward to coming again soon

A Saturday night in Paris and the 5-course tasting menu for two with a bottle of wine. French fine dining at its best with all the classical touches - a good excuse to dress up and drink fancy wine. Remembered for dishes I don’t normally enjoy but loved. Masterful use of mushrooms, beetroot and asparagus. Perfectly cooked mains, craft and technique everywhere. The ambiance was a little quieter and the service a little colder than we are used to.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on a very hot summer day; patio is shady; under a tree canopy, and with a view of the Madeleine. Already a great start in my book.
Ordered the gazpacho and an iced tea, and it was absolutely fantastic! I will be back another time for dinner :)

I had the five-course with wine paring. The sommelier’s selection of the food and wine pairing was deliberated. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and flavourful. The asparagus was my favorite! Nice combination with ice cream.

We were transported into the old world luxury.
Delicious food but slightly bland for my Asian palette. Our waitress,Savannah took care of us really well and made us feel like family.
Be prepared to be pampered there for 5 hours if you select the 7 courses with wine pairing.

This is a very popular place and for good reason. You definitely need to make reservations a few weeks in advance and then you need to be flexible with the time. It is full every day for lunch and dinner. They turn scores away each day. The deco is a simple, but the food is very good and oh the souffles! A wide sections of both sweet and savory. This is a place to come sit, eat slowing and enjoy the food. Get the prix fixe menu for lunch (50 to 70 euros) and relax. The staff is friendly and professional. This is not fast food! Nor a place for you to customize. It is not a big place, not for large groups or unruly kids. There are both tourists and locals having a very social lunch. BTW this is Paris, sport shorts, flip flops and halter tops are not appropriate for dining.
Barrett Madrigal - 4 months ago
All positive reviews are well deserved. The satff is professional with friendly attitude. Atmosphere is very nice, tables are close to each other, but that brings to charm of such place. And souffles are exceptional! Fluffy, airy, delicious.
Aleksandar Djorovic - 2 months ago
It used to be hard to get a reservation, so I couldn’t go often — which is why I was really pleased to finally book a table.
The service wasn’t bad at all, but… perhaps my expectations were too high? It just didn’t quite live up to the memorable experience I had last time.
The giblet, chicken and mushroom soufflé was much saltier than I remembered.
The thin chips were still delicious and crispy, but the soufflé had a bit of an eggy smell this time, which I hadn’t noticed before. Even the French onion soup was overly salty.
I gave a 5-star review before, but sadly, the meal I had a few days ago was disappointing — not quite something I’d confidently recommend to others.
It’s still one of the few places I’ve ever rated five stars, so I’d really like to keep cheering them on.

Such a lovely restaurant. The staff is incredible attentive. The souffle was the best I have ever had. The ham and cheese souffle felt like eating a delicious cloud. We had the grand Garnier souffle and chocolate one for dessert. We will definitely be eating here again on our next trip.

Perfect spot to try typical French food, but not your classic typical food.
This is the place for soufflé!
I loved it, such a different and unique food.
They have all sort of soufflés, savory and sweet. We went for savory ones: Henry the 4th, with chicken and mushrooms, delicious.
And chevre, with goat cheese and black olives.
They're extremely good, and filling too!!
We also had the onion soup, a French classic, and it was brilliant.
30€ per person, soup was 14€ and soufflés were 22-23€ each. Totally worth it for a special, different meal.
Make sure to book your table, as it's usually full. You can do it easily on Google Maps, they have the option to book a table through the app.

We dropped in for drinks one evening and regretted not being early enough for food. An error we rectified the following evening.
Good quality food, a lovely atmosphere and delightful service. It’s the perfect place for drinks or an early supper - beware though - they close at 8:30 as a result of the gates of the shopping Mall being locked.
Final shout out to the manager who sprinted up the road to re-unite my wife and her phone. We’d managed to get quite a distance before he noticed and it would have been very easy for him to give in. He didn’t and we will be eternally grateful.

This was a random spot we stopped by between Dior and Chanel. Overall, the food wasn’t bad. I especially enjoyed the avocado tuna and the carpaccio de bœuf. I wasn’t a big fan of the beef tartare, which tasted a bit bland to me. The waiter was friendly and the place was nice too.

The food is average, coffee is good. The toilet room was dirty, no soap, no paper, but it’s not a cheap place)))
The cafe is located in a quiet street, among boutiques. At lunchtime they will let you in if you will eat. prices are high, service is ok

It's not cheap, but you're eating in a café in Paris in the stylish pedestrian street that has boutiques from Chanel and Dior, so just enjoy. Food was pretty good, the steak tartare offered better value than the petit filet, which lived up to its billing. Chips and salad good. Service was efficient.

Great looking place and a true Back in Time experience. That it’s great and amazing about the place.
The food was expensive but that was to be expected. However the quality was average for the price. The place was noisy but again, it’s a popular location and there were quite a few people so that probably can’t be helped.
The service was only ok (again considering the location) and I was less than impressed with the attitude at the end when I chose not to tip.
Would I recommend? Yes. Once. It’s a unique experience. In a sense and worth doing it once.

We were impressed with the decor at Maxim’s. We found it comfortable with a classic elegance. The food was also very good with a wide variety of offerings on the menu. The service was good, friendly and attentive. We also very much enjoyed the live jazz and vocals during our meal. The music was entertaining without being too loud.

Came to try this restaurant with my girls out of curiosity. I’ve already been to the bar before and I loved the vibe, so I thought it would match the experience with the restaurant.
First, we were all seated on the corner beside the dirty dishes place, we hate the sound of the plates clacking everytime.
Second, because of the location of our seats, we could see nothing of the performance at all. The waiter told us that the singers will go around and sing, but they did not. We paid the same amount with the other people that could enjoy the live music, but we couldn’t.
Third, because of that, we asked the reception to move, but the she told us that they are fully booked and the other tabled are for 4 people while we were only 3. So we waited some tables to clear up and asked the same, still same answer…..until 2 tables were filled with 3 women as well. Like seriously? We asked politely several times but they did not seem to want us to be more visible.
Fourth, after I attempted to cancel my main course because I lost my appetite with their service, my friends complained to the manager and we finally were moved to a better table. But it was too late, because the singers only sang one song and left after that. All that for nothing.
For the food, nothing amazing, it was standard. The beef carpaccio was good, but not amazing. The entrecôte was cold, and really hard to chew. The mocktail was nice tho.
After all that, we just went to the bar to spend more time together there.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought that it would be very touristy but the service was very good. the prices are high but within the range for other restaurants with the same sort of menu. The atmosphere was very good. The entertainment which changed throughout the evening , four example a guitarist a saxophonist, and 2 female singers. The volume was reasonable although I would have liked it even a little softer. Overall it was a very good experience.

This was our second visit back to Chez Monsieur. And it was just as awesome as we remembered it.
Get everything they recommend. It was amazing. I dream of the Veal Stew. Spectacular! So tender and creamy and unexpected.
The cheese raviolis with green peas as garnish was also exquisite. The green peas popped in our mouths.
Our favorite restaurant by far in Paris!

My review here for the service and for the professionalism I saw from Mr. Pierre-Oliver and his associates Miss. Anna.
As the way did handled me and my guests was so much better than I was expected.
And the quality was great as well in beverage to be honest. The atmosphere was great too.
I will definitely try to repeat this kind of experience we had.
I wish them both success and would like to enhance my gratitude to both of them.
Thank you for having us.

Best jazz cocktail bar! I’ve come here often with my colleagues after work and had such a wonderful time. Most recently, I spent my birthday here. The wonderful waitress gave me macarons with a candle on the house. The pianist incorporated Happy Birthday into the song already playing.. It was such fun. The service is incredible. Everyone is attentive, kind and soft spoken. The ambience… the music is absolutely perfect.

Simply beautiful bar in the Hotel de Crillon. Excellent service - we had a glass of Chablis and one of Champagne. Choice of glasses, and both were perfect and served at the correct temperature. The server brought the bottles to us, showed us, and allowed us to taste before confirming. The olives were also perfect! We went at about 6pm on a Saturday and it was getting busy though we were immediately seated. We left around 7pm and there was a queue. So go early!

A Memorable Parisian Dinner at Francois Félix
We had an absolutely delightful experience at Francois Félix, located conveniently near the Sofitel Faubourg. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that made us feel instantly at ease.
We started with a bubbly, golden-brown gratin starter with ravioli that was both comforting and indulgent. The creamy texture, layered with tender vegetables and topped with a perfectly broiled cheese crust, was a fantastic opener to our meal. Each bite was rich and flavorful, with just the right touch of herbs to balance it all out.
For the main course, we were served a slow-cooked stew with tender cuts of beef, baby potatoes, carrots, and a deeply savory sauce. Amazing Beef bourgaunone. The meat melted in the mouth, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection, soaking up all the flavors of the broth. The garnish of fresh herbs added a wonderful brightness to the dish. It felt like classic French comfort food elevated with great care and technique.
The background music was another highlight—smooth jazz and classic song melodies that created a cozy, elegant atmosphere without ever being overpowering. It was the perfect soundtrack to a relaxed and satisfying evening.
If you're staying nearby or simply exploring Paris, Café Félix is a must-visit for a delicious, heartwarming meal and impeccable service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful dinner at Maison Blossom, located inside the Sofitel Hotel. A friend invited us, and it turned out to be a great recommendation.
If you're driving, just be aware that the street in front of the restaurant doesn’t allow parking. Fortunately, there’s a large underground parking garage near the Place de la Concorde—just about a five-minute walk away. The short walk takes you past the U.S. Embassy, which makes for a nice, quiet stroll.
The restaurant is beautifully designed, with both indoor seating and a lovely garden area. Since it wasn’t crowded, the atmosphere was calm and perfect for chatting with friends over dinner.
The menu isn’t extensive, but the food was excellent. Each dish was beautifully plated and full of flavor. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the evening.
If you’re exploring this area and looking for a peaceful, elegant place to enjoy a relaxing dinner, I highly recommend Maison Blossom. It’s much more comfortable and enjoyable than squeezing into an overly busy, trendy spot.
