5 Star Rating Great experience at Buddha-Bar Paris. The music was really nice, definitely better than many other places, with a great vibe throughout the night. The food was good, the service was attentive and pleasant, and one thing I really appreciated was how spacious the tables are compared to most spots in Paris. Overall, a very enjoyable atmosphere with good music, good food, and comfort. Would definitely recommend.

4 Star Rating This is a very good restaurant, and I’ve visited it twice now. It is essential to book in advance because by 10 PM the place is completely full and the atmosphere is buzzing. The food is delicious and definitely worth trying! However, the service isn't the best, so don't expect it to be super fast. Overall, a great spot for a tasty dinner if you aren't in a rush.

5 Star Rating The atmosphere feels both lively and cozy at the same time..chic yet welcoming. The food is great..we started with the sushi, which was incredibly tasty and unique. These aren't your standard rolls, but distinctive, flavorful creations that are fresh and beautifully presented. The drinks were very good too. Our waiter was an absolute professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Buddha-Bar is highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

5 Star Rating Dining at Lucas Carton is not just a dinner — it is a journey through time, taste, and quiet perfection. From the moment you step into this Art Nouveau jewel at Place de la Madeleine, you feel it: this is not about being seen, it’s about experiencing something rare. The atmosphere is refined, almost intimate, yet never distant — a delicate balance few places truly master. The cuisine is where everything comes together. Every plate feels composed, not constructed. Flavours are precise, harmonious, never overpowering — nothing screams, everything flows. The sauces, in particular, are exceptional: deep, elegant, and so perfectly balanced that you find yourself wanting to savour every last detail. There is a sense of restraint here, of confidence. No unnecessary theatrics, no forced creativity — just pure, intelligent gastronomy at a level that feels both modern and timeless. Service is equally impeccable: attentive without intrusion, warm without familiarity. You are guided, not managed. You leave not overly full, not overwhelmed — but with that rare feeling of complete satisfaction. This is the kind of place that reminds you why fine dining still matters.

5 Star Rating Amazing restaurant. Generous with flavors and the quality and amount of foods. Great sommelier and staff. The chef Hugo Bourny is talented and came and spoke to us during the meal. We had a great experience. We had the 7 courses. Our table voted for the venison, the langoustines (with caviar) and the scallops (with shiitake). Very innovative. 5 Star Rating A Saturday night in Paris and the 5-course tasting menu for two with a bottle of wine. French fine dining at its best with all the classical touches - a good excuse to dress up and drink fancy wine. Remembered for dishes I don’t normally enjoy but loved. Masterful use of mushrooms, beetroot and asparagus. Perfectly cooked mains, craft and technique everywhere. The ambiance was a little quieter and the service a little colder than we are used to.

5 Star Rating the souffles were absolutely delicious!! we enjoyed 3 different souffles, both savory & sweet. they were incredibly light, full of flavor, & cooked to a light souffle perfection. the accompanying sauces were equally as flavorful. we were placed in the back room (seemed like all kids + american tourists were placed back there); so it was quite loud vs being able to enjoy a quiet dinner for 2. the waiter rushed us a bit as well, coming back numerous times to ask, "are you ready to order?" we would have preferred to have more time to review the menu offering, while enjoying our wine. we do hope to return again & give it another try since the food was outstanding (hoping the back room was just coincidence & the waiter was having an off night). merci beaucoup! we hope to return again & give it another try since the souffles were outstanding (hoping the back room was just coincidence & the waiter was having an off night). there are many more souffles to explore, along w/the seasonal varieties. merci beaucoup!

5 Star Rating I love this spot and have visited numerous times over the past few years. Yes, it is on the 'touristy' side but it is not a trap...far from it. The service is excellent from the moment you walk in. I came at the start of dinner service so everyone was putting in their orders around same time. It was a very timely experience, didn't feel there was a long wait or rushed at all. TIP: Do look at the dessert menu as you would need to place the dessert order at same time as your mains. I enjoyed the foie gras terrine with small foie gras souffle the most. It's rich but not overly so that you couldn't finish the plate. The plating of my scallops could use some finesse, but scallops were cooked perfectly to medium. Then finally, I went with pear & chocolate for dessert. If you're a huge chocolate lover, the sauce is amazing. The dining space is small but relatively on the quiet side even with all tables around me occupied. Reservations are highly recommended!

4 Star Rating We ordered the beef bourguignon and foie gras souffle and for dessert, pear and chocolate and Gran Marnier souffles. My only complaint, I wish they were more generous with the foie gras pieces and for the Gran Marnier souffle, to be sweeter since all I tasted was alcohol. Otherwise, food was good and service was very attentive.

3 Star Rating As the restaurant name suggests, soufflé should be their specialty but it lacks the technique of making it soft and fluffy. A good soufflé should melt in your mouth. 5 Star Rating We dropped in for drinks one evening and regretted not being early enough for food. An error we rectified the following evening. Good quality food, a lovely atmosphere and delightful service. It’s the perfect place for drinks or an early supper - beware though - they close at 8:30 as a result of the gates of the shopping Mall being locked. Final shout out to the manager who sprinted up the road to re-unite my wife and her phone. We’d managed to get quite a distance before he noticed and it would have been very easy for him to give in. He didn’t and we will be eternally grateful.

5 Star Rating PARISIAN HISTORY + AMAZING FOOD + AMAZING SERVICE (ZOE) = PERFECT DINNER IN PARIS. It took us a bit to get the reservation we wanted for an upcoming trip to Paris, but it was well worth the effort. We were not sure what to expect at the recently renovated Maxim’s, but we wanted to dine in a piece of Parisian history and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! Our expectations were exceeded -- starting with the gracious greeting at the front door then we were led the beautiful dining room that has the perfectly restored ceiling that you must see, and my picture does not do full justice to. We were there on a Saturday evening for a 7pm seating and at 815pm a wonderful jazz quartet played everything from Bill Withers to old French jazz standards and everything in between. The acoustics are a bit loud, but everyone was having a great time and the place was sold out which was to be expected. The wine list was extensive, and everyone would find something they love but my favorite was a cocktail called the “Champs Elysees” that included Cognac, Chartreus Vert, lemon juice, touch of sugar and angostura bitters. So smooth but packs a punch, especially when you are wearing heels like I was LOL. The Spaghettini Caviar was my absolute favorite Entrée, and you cannot leave Maxims without trying it. We enjoyed Crepes Suzette for dessert and that is the only training potential feedback I would leave as Zoe had a bit of a problem with the flambee portion, but the final taste was lovely. When we were done with dinner the Bar was so full we could not get in but the Maitre D was so gracious he walked with us next door to Minim’s (same owner) and ensured we had a lovely table to enjoy a cocktail before leaving for the night. All in All a wonderful experience and well worth the money paid. You will not be disappointed and you can just feel the history within the place not to mention the Metro that runs beneath it. All part of the charm of Maxims.

3 Star Rating Visiting Maxim’s had been long on both my list and that of my guests, so we chose it for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday. Without question, the décor is absolutely outstanding. From the moment you step inside, you feel transported back to the 1920s–30s, beautifully complemented by period music that completes the atmosphere. The setting alone makes the experience feel special and memorable. The food was also very good. I started with oysters with caviar, which were absolutely magical and highly recommended. For the main course, I chose the duck, which was well prepared and enjoyable, though not particularly exceptional. Unfortunately, the service was a significant disappointment. We waited a long time for our food to arrive, my order was mixed up twice, and after asking for water four times, it finally arrived about 30 minutes later. To make matters worse, the bill did not add up, as an unexplained extra charge appeared. It was also my birthday celebration, which had been clearly indicated during the reservation process. However, this was not acknowledged upon arrival, and I had to double-check whether the note had even been received. I do believe the staff were doing their best, but the restaurant was clearly understaffed that day. This is something management should seriously review, as the level of service did not match the reputation, price point, or otherwise beautiful experience Maxim’s is known for.

5 Star Rating Maxim’s is one of those really rare places where I actually enjoy trying unusual and unexpected recipes. The dishes might sound strange at first, but they are incredibly tasty, the kind of food that stays on your mind and makes you crave it again right after leaving. The atmosphere is classic and timeless, exactly what you’d expect from a Parisian icon. A special mention to our waitress, who looked like Brigitte Bardot, she was genuinely smiley, warm, and made the experience even more enjoyable. 3 Star Rating Beautiful on Paper, Disappointing on the Plate - Not the French Cuisine Experience You're Hoping For My goddaughter treated me to dinner at this Michelin Guide-listed restaurant, and unfortunately, we left quite disappointed. The concept sounds wonderful: classic French cuisine presented à la carte (appetizers, mains, desserts) featuring iconic dishes from France's culinary heritage - almost like a museum of traditional recipes. The wine list similarly showcases quality French wines from diverse regions. However, our main letdown was the value proposition. While the dishes are technically correct in their execution and beautifully plated, the flavors simply weren't there - bland and one-dimensional. It felt like being served an industrial croissant that's been reheated to add some crispness and presented on fine china. The appearance is there, but the soul is missing. Perhaps the chef wasn't in the kitchen that evening and an apprentice was simply replicating dishes from photos without actually tasting them before sending them out? It's hard to explain otherwise how technically correct plates could lack so much in flavor. I genuinely feel for international visitors who come here expecting to discover authentic French traditional cuisine - this isn't it. And at twice the price it should be for what's delivered, it's hard to recommend. We dined on the terrace, so we didn't experience the reportedly beautiful interior dining room, which might be the restaurant's strongest asset. Given the current challenges facing Paris's restaurant scene, I'm hesitant to be too harsh, but potential diners deserve to know what to expect. There are much better options in Paris for experiencing real French gastronomy at this price point.

5 Star Rating We had a wonderful dinner at Maison Blossom, located inside the Sofitel Hotel. A friend invited us, and it turned out to be a great recommendation. If you're driving, just be aware that the street in front of the restaurant doesn’t allow parking. Fortunately, there’s a large underground parking garage near the Place de la Concorde—just about a five-minute walk away. The short walk takes you past the U.S. Embassy, which makes for a nice, quiet stroll. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with both indoor seating and a lovely garden area. Since it wasn’t crowded, the atmosphere was calm and perfect for chatting with friends over dinner. The menu isn’t extensive, but the food was excellent. Each dish was beautifully plated and full of flavor. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the evening. If you’re exploring this area and looking for a peaceful, elegant place to enjoy a relaxing dinner, I highly recommend Maison Blossom. It’s much more comfortable and enjoyable than squeezing into an overly busy, trendy spot.

She was friendly, funny and just so attentive and welcoming, instantly making our dining experience excellent, infact the whole team excelled! Thank you all. Highly recommend. Katie x

4 Star Rating We came in in the middle of the afternoon and they still nicely served us quality food. We really enjoyed their big fat burger. The pastry is really amazing here.
