5 Star Rating There really is nothing like it. Located at the Gare de Lyon train station this turn of the century restaurant is first class. Service is impeccable, cuisine is outstanding no matter what you choose. And the atmosphere is both electric as well as culturally traditional. The ceiling and walls are ornate with painted murals. Reminded me of Florence or Rome. This high class eatery is bustling with activity and people coming and going. Thus it tends to be noisy but honestly you dont care because its all part of the experience. As far as dishes are concerned the roast lamb, beef bourguignon, duck pate, and desserts are done to perfection. Crepe suzette is prepared flambe style tableside, the roast lamb is carved tableside as well. Just too much to mention here but if you are in Paris this is a must stop even if it's for lunch.

4 Star Rating This restaurant is located inside a large train station. The interior has a unique style that's great for photos, although it does feel a bit dated. The menu actually offers a wide variety of choices. The food is delicious, and the service is very fast, making it perfect for those who need to catch a train. The prices are a bit higher than restaurants in the city center, which is understandable given the location and the lack of other good non-fast food options nearby. If you're looking for a proper meal with plenty of variety while in a hurry, this is a solid choice.

5 Star Rating September 2025 5* An amazing restaurant located in the train station with such an amazing decor. We were a large group and had wonderful time. I am vegetarian and was so amazed with the quality of the food. You can pick either set menu or choose A la carte. It was full-course meal for us and I picked vegetarian option: - Chickpeas with mushrooms cream ***** - Vegetable with patty ***** - Salad with cheese (did not tried) - Deserts ***** - Orange juice ***** The place is amazing. Little disappointed with the service as there was some discrimination. I requested for bread and the guy never came back. May be he forgot but was very surprised.

4 Star Rating I've stopped giving 5-star ratings because I feel they make every place seem the same, so I chose to rate it a 4 instead. The food was good, but it wasn't the most amazing I've ever had. However, the overall experience is definitely worth it! I've never encountered a better ambiance, and the service is excellent! They offer both à la carte and set menus, allowing you to mix and match your choices. We ordered one set menu along with an additional main dish.

5 Star Rating The most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to in my life. You can spend hours admiring the breathtaking ceiling frescoes, feeling as if you’ve stepped back in time. We ordered the beef tartare, and the waiter prepared it right in front of us – such a unique and memorable touch. The atmosphere is magical, the food exquisite, and the staff warm and welcoming. An unforgettable experience that combines history, beauty, and taste in the most perfect way. Will i come back ! - Yes 1000 times yes 👍

5 Star Rating What an amazing French restaurant! Husband cooks and the wife waits the tables with some help. The service is something out of a diary book because it’s so personal and friendly. The food is all freshly prepared and the menu changes. I’ve spent many weeks in Paris over the past few summers and this is where I go to have my best food. Glad to visit today as they’re taking a family holiday tomorrow for a week. Yum yum yum.

5 Star Rating We called here for lunch before leaving from the Gare de Lyon. The service was hugely friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere is classic French bistro. We had Blanquette de Saumon and Magret de Carnard with a Côte du Rhône from a well chosen wine list. In short an ideal spot for a good value and delicious meal before catching the train.

4 Star Rating Came to this place early on a Sunday morning, staff attentive and decent. They know English, can pay with credit card. Food got served in a reasonable time, but had my bread and butter to keep me happy. Its at the corner of the street easy to notice. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The breakfast portion of my omlette with cheese was quiet enough.

4 Star Rating My friend and I ate here without making a reservation. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was not super busy, but is not far from a tourististy spot in Paris (Le tour Eiffel). Clean and pretty inside. They have menus in both FR and EN. The server didn't really speak English well, but that's okay because I ordered for us in French. But, he could get by. We first had the Mix de Brushetta (Brushetta Mix). She had Prosecco. Perrier 33mL for me. The Brushetta was good, but we weren't expecting the cured raw salmon as a "topping." However, it was tasty. The toppi gs are described in either menu, so you should ask as they might change. We ordered separate meals, but tasted each other's. My meal came out incorrectly so I had to wait. She had pizza, which was just okay. She removed a few pepperonis for me to taste a bite while I waited. First they brought out this huge bowl of twisty pasta with ham (Coquillettes du Jambon, Comté à la Truffe), which looked good, but I don't eat meat. I didn't have a chance to take a photo b/c I didn't let the server leave it. When I correct meal came, I had the Ravioli Ricotta E Spinaci (Rav w/ Ricotta & Spinach), which was DELICIOUS! My friend was so jealous. It came out hot and looked like a smaller bowl, but we were both surprised by the amount. It kept giving, and she kept dipping her pizza in my sauce. It really was quite good. The British guy next to us chatted with us and let me try his Tiramisu, which was great. Clean and crisp, with the taste of espresso but not overpowering and not overly sweet. And her Panna Cotta was good also, smooth, chilled, not too sweet. But my Crème Brûlée was very good. The sugar was thin and not burnt, also smooth. And I tasted all the vanilla, with the visible beans. I highly recommend the Ravioli.

5 Star Rating Love their pizzas and the relaxing vibe here. The aubergine one was my favourite and surprisingly super yummy. Came back another day for the spicy chorizo one which was also very good. Don’t eat cheese but forgot to ask not to have cheese when ordering at 2nd visit but the gentleman who served the pizza to me was very kind and immediately returned the pizza to kitchen without question when I told him that and brought me a new one without cheese 15minutes later. Will definitely come back next time in Paris. Highly recommended for everyone who wants a slice of good pizza 🍕 (espresso is very good too)

4 Star Rating Amazing place to get a quick bite after a long day of travel as this is right next to the train station. Plating and presentation is a big deal here. You get the fancy feel at a very reasonable price. If you are staying at the hotel above the restaurant you also get a 20% discount. You do have to pay for water. The Spaghetti was a little bland. However the ravioli was amazing. There are only a few vegetarian options.

5 Star Rating We went as a family of 6 + toddler on a wet and cold day -- the service by the hostess was incredible and so welcoming. On day 5 of our visit to Paris, this was the best service we'd received. I unfortunately couldn't catch the hostess' name, but she was very warm and took a special liking to our toddler. There were plenty of vegetarian options, and we especially enjoyed the Spaghetti and Spinach Ravioli. We also ordered a Pepperoni and Margherita, which looked good. Topped it off with a great hot chocolate, and the hostess went above and beyond to get us all some chocolates. She even got him a cute little Santa dog to take home! Couldn't have asked for a better end to our Paris visit, and I only wish that the hostess hadn't finished her shift just before we left. Must visit if you're in this area for great pizza and Italian food.

5 Star Rating Food was very good! I had no problems after eating it, which speaks to the freshness and quality of their ingredients as well as their attentivness to cooking. I'm here visiting so I need to try other places, but I would definitely come back! I'm visiting from America, so I'm not familiar with local customs, and this was the first place I ate. I paid with my debit card (food was priced reasonably, despite being in a high tourist area). There was no option for tip on the card, but I'm not even sure if its a custom here, so if you're gojng to tip, bring cash. My waiter spoke English and was very helpful and professional. Bathroom had graffiti written everywhere, but from what I seen throughout the city, it's absolutely everywhere, so I guess it's normal? Anyway, great place to stop in and eat!

5 Star Rating After losing the rugby and wandering back to our hotel we stopped for a nightcap. The place itself is nothing special but the atmosphere and locals, this is a bar used by local rail staff, are the most friendly and forthcoming. Ok we were the only English in there and France had won but it wasn't all about the rugby. The owner treated us to a drink and so did a couple of locals. For just one drink before bed we spent over two hours such was the company.

I liked it so much that I returned for an equally decent Salade Auvergnate at lunch the next day.
