Brilliant location and great service, quite noisy in the mornings as the rooms are not soundproofed very well but this was not an issue at all. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Great hotel for the price, walking distance to most attractions, and a metro just 300m away. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an overall good stay at the Kabanel hotel. The room were spacious, compared to most hotel rooms in Paris, they were clean and cozy, with a location right across the street from a building with Parisian architecture.
The staff was friendly except for one incident with the person that checked us in which was rude and very impatient, almost raising the voice at me while I was explaining to her that we had to book one extra night due to a change flight. She didn’t find the booking at first and started raising her voice and telling me that I don’t have a reservation even tho I knew I had it. It was resolved after all but the staff wasn’t very professional.
Location is good, in a quiet place, next to a local market place, and also next to public transportation and metro.
The only disadvantage was the fact that the stairs and the elevator were very tight and pretty hard to use but it didn’t bother us that much since we didn’t spend much time in them.
I overall do recommend this hotel and I would come back here when I visit Paris next time!

Very easy to check in, good communication with front desk staff, and they were very kind and helpful. Close to Gare Du Nord station so easy to get to/ from airport if taking the train. Beautiful room as pictured and bed is comfortable. Street was loud and busy (as expected for Paris) but windows had good sound proofing so slept through the night no issues on 5th floor. Great location close to major attractions also, walking distance if you are not in a rush (~1.25 hour to Eiffle tower with some stops to appreciate the view along the way). Front desk staff also very helpful giving suggestions, and they booked our taxi to the airport for us which we really appreciate. Great view from the windows too!
Bathroom is quite small, enough room to shower/ get dressed but I would suggest leaving your clothing outside the bathroom as you shower, to avoid getting them wet as the shower can splash a little. But given the smaller rooms, I think this size of bathroom is fine, and to be expected. Not a major downside at all, and this would not stop me from staying here again.

Honestly, the hotel room we stayed in as well as the hotel corridors are in a state of disrepair that definitely requires renovation.
On the other hand, the staff is very friendly and ready to help as much as possible, so big praise for them.
The hotel is located near the stations of all types of public transport, and you can also visit some attractions on foot. The breakfast on the first day was plentiful, but on the other days certain foods were missing and they were replenished slowly.
The breakfast is not consistent in terms of quantity, so I definitely recommend that you go for it as early as possible.

Great location, very central which allowed us to walk if we wanted to. Clean and spacious room for a small hotel. Lovely people at the desk no matter what time it was!

Under the Les Halles belly -3 location…the host is very patient in helping me selection and try-tasting…without hurrying us, she help us pack many packages for gifts. I would patron this location again. Jeff de Bruges chocolates has been our favorite for a while….great service at this shop!

Nice candy store in the train station. Lots of choices, including ice cream cones. A good place to pick up a gift box of custom chocolates. Expensive, though. Would be 5 stars if the price was a little better.

Restaurant with fantastic vibe located in beautiful neighbourhood. Staffs are super chill and welcoming, very attentive even though the place was crowded. Food was served in a timely manner. The steaks were exactly medium rare as we ordered, which many other restaurants too often failed to achieve. Everything from starters to main dishes to desserts were delicious, one of the best we have tried in Paris.

Walked in very randomly with friends as I saw the lighting was super nice and also found they’ve a cave just right opposite of the resto.
From my experience, people who like drinking must also like food. So I proposed to have a dinner here to my friends.
Results turned out very well. Super good seasoning, great ingredients, creative and delicious fusion ideas.

I visited this place 2 nights ago, based on TripAdvisor recommendations.
It was really busy, yet they still found space for me near the bar. The food was phenomenal. I highly recommend.
I had 2 courses, main and dessert. I had beef with potatoes, marrowbone and a pepper sauce then a trio of creme brulee. Just delicious.

I lost almost all my 2023 photos. I still have this one tho from this cafe. It's a really nice atmosphere, I remember the food was good too! It's near Gare de l' Est and Gare du Nord station too
Would go again

Lovely staff and beautiful atmosphere but the food is unfortunately underwhelming. Pancakes and French toast come in tiny portions (and not amazing) and the “avocado toast” is a marriage of avocado and other veggies with a few small pieces of toast and a lack of flavour.

The Meal of the day, who change everyday is just amazing
The staff is also great and very friendly

The place is super nice and waiters are very kind. Food is also great although kind of expensive! 25€ for a small salad is quite a lot. Next time I’m in town I’ll try something more “consistent” because I was still hungry when I finished my salad.

Beautiful day in Paris with sunshine and this place was perfect to have brunch and talk business! Very original menu and delicious as well! 5 min walking from Gare de l’Est
Try the desert with white chocolate mousse, fruits and popping something :)

Compared to all you can eat, this restaurant is cheaper and the slices of salmon are thicker as well, more delicious and overal more appealing. For 2 persons and a full belly you don't have to spend 30+ euros

First time in Paris and me and my best friend were craving sushi. We were very impressed with the quick delivery and the food tasted great! The white wine I ordered was very cold which was a huge plus. Delivery driver was nice as well. We only have a couple days left here but we already decided we want to order from this restaurant again.

Very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. The restaurant is part of an exotic grocery store. Gateaux piments and the vegetarian dishes were excellent. However everything needed extra salt!

This place is situated about 7 to 8 minutes
from the Strasbourg St Denis Metro station. If you are looking for a taste of authentic Mauritian cuisine, the " Le Dodo" is the place to eat. Great tasting fresh food. Ali made us feel very comfortable and the service is excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice mauritian specialty food place. Friendly service and good pricing. I had the "rougaille ourite" and lentils on rice and it was very tasty. The pickled chili that came along was very good as well. My friends and family ordered briani and fried noodles and they said it was good too. Would definitely go back when i come back to Paris.

Small humble restaurant that serves delicious Japanese food. Menu selection were great and mostly reasonable price. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended to drop by to this restaurant if you’re around Gare D Lest.

We randomly pop in and glad to have a wide range of choices, we ordered fried noodles and rice as my parent was poorly so prefer hot food and the gentleman is so thoughtful to arrange her some warm drink. We are pleased to have this family feel Japanese bistro. We keep seeing lots of take away order and bet they are very popular around the area. Thanks!

A very typical Burger King restaurant in Paris. There were a lot of clients but I didn't wait for long. The dinning room is clean enough.
The best part is this screen showing departures and arrivals. Very considerate as this burger king is just next to Gare de l'Est.

Good location with extra seating upstairs. Purchasing items on the screens can be done in English or French which is useful. The tea however came with no milk, when asked for milk was told by staff there is no milk!
The sink in the toilet doesn't work!
