It needs to be said that Hotel Pulitzer is the best in Paris for your visit to the city. This hotel is made into a world class stay due to its incredible staff, notably the two incredible young women stewarding the front desk, Miss Maria and Miss Betty. My cousin and I had an impromptu trip into Paris and were lucky enough to snag a room at Hotel Pulitzer. Greeting us was Miss Betty. She was full of knowledge about the city; where to eat, the best parks to relax, and where to go for dinner. She was thoughtful and very patient with us as my French is rugged at best! Then we met Miss Maria later on and WOW these two women were the best team! Maria herself taught us how to use the metro system, guided us on a map where best to sight see, gave even more restaurant and park recommendations, and in general was just so warmhearted! While the hotel itself is beautiful in its own right, with clean rooms and excellent breakfasts, these two women represented the company with grace and utmost professionalism. These women made our stay so impressive in fact, that I came back only a month later with my parents, specifically to Hotel Pulitzer, for our extended trip. You will not find better service and hospitable stay than the one you will find here. I look forward to coming with my husband in just a few short months, and already am so excited to be back!

My cousin and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Pulitzer last weekend. The hotel is so gorgeous and sleek. I enjoyed all the amenities provided like coming back to a fresh carafe of water every day in our room. It was much appreciated after a day walking around the city. Our stay was made beyond special by the amazing staff who were all very kind and helpful. Maria in particular was always such a joy to speak with, she radiates a wonderful positive energy and I really loved seeing her every morning! Had such a great experience here, would love to come back!

We had a great stay at Hotel Pulitzer. Best of all was the staff that we met on this visit. Maria, Arnot and the cheerful breakfast crew were extremely kind, warm and thoughtful. They were extremely accommodating in every aspect! Will definitely stay here on our next visit! Thank You!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Pulitzer in Paris, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of Maria.
From the moment I arrived, she made me feel incredibly welcome with her warm demeanor and genuine attention to detail. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering helpful recommendations, assisting with reservations, and always greeting me with a smile. Maria’s professionalism and kindness truly elevated my experience—she embodies what excellent service should be. I can’t recommend Hotel Pulitzer enough, and Maria is a big reason why I’ll be returning. Five stars all the way!

Loved it!
Really really enjoyed my short stay. Wish I could have stayed here longer, it was super comfortable and convenient.
The hotel was elegantly decorated. Very clean and beautiful. Loved their designs and storytelling concept very much. The touch of a safe box hidden under a book cover in the bedside drawer was so nice.
Room was super comfortable and quiet. It was right in the middle of so many restaurants and bars and by the street but there was no noise in my room at all. They also gave me a free upgrade, which I highly appreciated.
Spacious room and bathroom. Loved their shower and the draining system was amazing. Water pressure was perfect. Enough amenities and space to put things on.
Bed was super comfortable and I slept very well there.
The staffs were all very friendly and helpful. It was a very nice and welcoming stay. Highly recommend and would love to be back whenever I’m in Paris again soon!

Disappointing Experience Despite the Hype
Bouillon Chartier may be a Parisian institution, but the reality didn’t live up to its historic reputation. We arrived just before opening and were already met with a queue. While the line moved quickly, the real letdown began once we were seated.
The shared table setup, though part of the charm for some, felt awkward and uncomfortable. Dining elbow-to-elbow with strangers might sound “authentically Parisian,” but in practice, it felt more like a rushed school cafeteria than a classic French experience.
The service was brisk to the point of brusque.
As for the food, it was… fine. Basic, home-style cooking that lacked finesse. Think canned green beans, salty sauces, and tender meat. Yes, it’s affordable, but so is a sandwich—and that would’ve been more enjoyable.
If you’re after a loud, chaotic dining experience with average food and zero intimacy, this might be your scene. Otherwise, there are better ways to experience traditional French cuisine in Paris.

We were lucky and didn’t have to wait in line when we arrived. We had high expectations, but the food turned out to be average in terms of taste. The place itself was nice and traditional. The best dish was the snails, which we had never tried before. The menu might seem intimidating — it’s limited and features some unusual options.

Great Service, Great Atmosphere and really great food with Friends, what else you need? In terms of Paris i paid 55 euro excluded from service but including a nice bottle of red wine.
We waited in the line about 5 mins and got very lucky and got in the restaurant. Recommended for everyone! One of the unique Parisian experiences we had.

After a long wait outside, we finally got inside and were impressed by the size of the place. It was bustling with people both inside and out, which added to the lively atmosphere. I really liked that the menu is printed fresh every day, so it changes regularly. The waiter was very friendly, and I loved the unique idea of him writing our order directly on the table.
We started with escargot (snails), which was amazing—I even ordered a second round! For the main courses, we had beef bouguignon, duck served with baby potatoes, and a plate of French cheeses. The food was delicious, especially the escargot, which I highly recommend. The duck was a bit tricky to cut, but overall very tasty, and the beef bouguignon was excellent.
I also enjoyed the house wine; it really made the experience feel authentically French.
Food: 8/10
Place: 9/10
Service: 10/10
A fantastic dining experience—would definitely come back!

We always visit this place when we’re in Paris. The atmosphere is nice and feels local. If it’s busy, you might have to share a table or wait in line, but it’s worth it. The food was tasty and the prices were good for Paris. It’s a great place to try simple, classic French dishes.

Stopped in for a quick cafe crème and received exceptional service. As an American, my French is not good, but one of the waiters was so kind to me and even taught me a few words to say! I’ll never forget him!

I've mostly come here to watch big sporting events - they generally have a projector up so it's easy to view even if it's busy (it often is). Prices are OK but service can be long when it's busy.

We loved this place! So glad we accidentally found it! Food was great, the wine was amazing and we felt like guests! Thank you for the advises, information about each dish, the various cheeses, salami - from which part of France they are coming ! This was atmosphere and attitude one cannot find anywhere! Greetings from Sofia :)

Starting with the positive, the service was great, while the place is nice. Although they have many organic wines, we were not provided with a wine list but orally proposed some bottles. The cheese/salumi platter was fair, but not even close to a good Italian selection as it is supposed to be.

✅️ Quick Service, qualitative food
🚫 Too quick ?
💰Meal + wine + coffee : 25€
Looking for a central place to lunch with an old friend, he gave rdv at Coinstot Vino.
Easy access, we are in the middle of the "Passage" very authentic.
The team is nice and feel "passionate"
The service was REALLY quick (like in 2 min). We can imagine they have the habit to deliver for the work people coming arround.
At first, it was really appreciable as we have been able to enjoy without rushing. But then, at the moment I've put my fork down for my last bite, someone was next to my face asking me if I was done 😳
SO! It was FAST and you CANT complain about it to a restaurant in Paris, BUT that ruined a bit the expérience as I felt rushed to finish
On the other hand, food was 8/10 ! With a menu changing EVERYDAY!

One of the better Starbucks in Paris. Spacious and good team with strong iconic customization mindset hard to find from other coffee makers in the city.

Quick service, nice attendants, decent coffee. Althougj we were a bit let down that there is no lactose free milk, its usually very common in Starbucks.

Was here from 14h-18h30. They have a good place to work / study. You can charge your phone / laptop almost everywhere is covered. The wifi is decent but somehow better than most Starbucks in Paris. Staffs are nice.

Different menu items compared to USA. Not a bad thing. I went while there weren’t a lot of people and got my food quick and was able to find a place to sit that was clean. Also helped that some of the staff spoke English. Plan on going back when I have the time.

Beautifully refined French cooking with Japanese influences. There was a highly inventive use of various seafood. The wine list also broad and has a huge selection of Burgundy.

Now la Table 53, the chef delivers a refined and farm fresh dinner. The service is very professional yet not stuffy, staff was very friendly.
Highlights of our dinner were the oysters, the fish (barbot) and the lamb which was delightfully buttery.
Damien Gallot - 6 years ago
Really delicious discovery menu with top service to match. Like the chicken and dessert. Wide selection of wines esp from burgundy.

Truly exquisite.
Implacable and friendly service.
We have tried the discovery menu.
Wonderful experimentation of seasonal transition colours and tastes.
Every dish was unique and splendid.
For a person who is usually abrasive of non-meat dishes it was all very special and delicious. I was really surprised and delighted.
From the cold oyster and spinach to the warm chanterelle and monk fish, my heart was won.
The desserts were orgasmic and amazing. An incredible mixture of tastes masterfully executed.
A very intimate and small boutique venue atmosphere.
The only 'complaint' is the accessibility of the bathroom.
Ori Klein - 7 years ago
Very intimate place with a minimalist French cuisine produced by a Japanese team. Everything's perfect even the plate... It's expanding with a gyoza place and a bar nearby. And the environment is so Parisian! A good address to bring your friends or partners from abroad.

One of the best patisseries in Paris. My French teacher from Paris highly recommended this and so I came here with my family on a Sunday afternoon. We sat on the second floor but there is seating in the passage way as well. They do have wine in addition to coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. We tried the pistachio tart, the acrulier (like a fancier Ferrero rocher) and Kalingo (a chocolate cake). I had the gunpowder green tea while my sister had the hot chocolate. I honestly liked their hot chocolate more than the one at Angelina. It was rich but not chalky and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pistachio tart was the best one we’ve ever had and revived our spirits after a long day of walking. You pay downstairs and credit cards are accepted.

Their tea was so flavorful and I got like 3-4 cups out of it. My friends had the cappuccino & pistachio dessert. I had the kalingo dessert. Both were expertly made and so indulgently tasty.

We were visiting the local covered passages, so popped in for a drink, and decided to have a light lunch of Quiche of the day with a green salad. There was a choice of 3 quiches, but we went for the traditional Quiche Loraine. It was very tasty and the salad dressing was delicious. The staff were very friendly. It was a cosy relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant and decor are amazing. The food was ok by DLP standards and the service excellent. However, I would like to say that the bottle of house red was the worst bottle of red wine I've ever had (not trying it when offered was my my error!). Absolutely visit this restaurant but try the house wine first ..

Me and my girlfriend saw the rat team in the kitchen, so we were a bit skeptical and quick to judge at first. But then the food came out and we had the best time! It was delicious! These rats really knew what they were doing. They even cleaned themselves in the dishwasher, so don’t worry about hygiene. Merci Remy 🙏🏻
