Had a lovely lunch, this place has been around since 1912, so it's got that classic Parisian bistro charm but without feeling too stiff or fancy. It’s part of Alain Ducasse’s group now, so you know you’re in good hands food-wise. I went for the set lunch menu (please take note that set menu may be changed from time to time), it was beautifully prepared, simple yet traditional French dishes done right. The flavors were rich but balanced, and the portions were just right, not too heavy. The service was amazing, very attentive without being overbearing. I was looked after by a friendly lady who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She explained the menu really well and checked in just the right amount. It’s those little touches that make a meal feel just nice. At the end of the meal, they brought out some chocolate from their own factory, which was such a nice surprise. Rich, smooth, and just the perfect finish to a really satisfying lunch. If you’re in Paris and want a relaxed but good French dining experience without the tourist-trap vibe, Benoit is a solid choice. It feels like stepping into a piece of history, but with warm service and food that totally holds up today. Recommend for lunch, definitely worth a visit.

I had a really nice experience at Benoit. The food was good and the service was warm and attentive. My main dish did arrive a little colder than I expected, which was a bit disappointing, but the dessert completely made up for it. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit and I’d be happy to come back again.

I will first start off by saying that the service here was fantastic and the wait staff were super friendly and very attentive! I made reservations for the restaurant a couple weeks in advance, but when I came in at 7pm (opening time) I was seated right at the entranceway where patrons come in to check in for their reservations. I wondered if it was because I was a solo diner so it felt like I was an afterthought. So not only was it chilly whenever someone entered or exited the establishment, it felt awkward because my meal and dining experience was the first thing people saw when entering so it was a bit uncomfortable for me as I was getting some stares. My food was actually just okay. I had the French onion soup which was good. I also had the beef ordered medium— however it came out (overcooked) medium well, and even though a sauce was poured onto it the meat still tasted bland and dry. For dessert I had little cream puffs that is dipped in a tasty chocolate sauce. I’ve dined at many Michelin star restaurants across the USA, Portugal, and Spain and had wonderful, impressive experiences and meals at all of them. This experience was very much a let down. When dining at a Michelin restaurant, there was always that “wow factor” in the dishes and presentation, but that was not the case here. This experience felt like it was your average expensive restaurant. I would say that my favorite parts of the meal were the dessert as well as the bread (not the baguette— I felt like I almost chipped a tooth on how hard/stale it was). Would I come back? Most likely not. There are a ton more options across Paris that I would prefer to try over a repeat experience here.

Loved my experience at Benoit! The menu was solid and well balanced. The portions were also better than I expected. We came in a group of 5, so we had the chance to try most of the menu, and all of it was good. Even the cheese puffs we got at the beginning were yummy. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was great how the staff took time to explain not just the menu, but also the history behind the restaurant. As a tourist visiting Paris, that was definitely a plus. Our reservation was at 7pm, which is when the restaurant opened. My only small complaint (Though I may be nitpicking here) is that they seated us at the very end of the restaurant, in a smaller corner. This could be because we’re a bigger group, but considering we had an earlier reservation when the restaurant wasn’t that full it would’ve been nice to sit a bit closer out. But it’s okay. My favourites were the Cookpot spelt, escargot, and the steak. Special shout out to the seasonal tomato dish— not usually a tomato person but that was a really good starter. Would definitely come back!

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

Lovely view of the fountain! But tables were too close to one another and you couldn't enjoy a proper meal. Moreover, the crêpes were a bit dry and slightly burnt, the filling was not very satisfying.. but for 12€ it was okay.

We spent a few days in Paris and we didn't find this place until the last day and we really regretted not finding it sooner They have a very good menu and their selection of crepes and galettes is very good The prices are very reasonable and they are located across the street from a small playground which was a nice addition to watch the children play

It was just random spot on our walk around Paris center. Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, food is delicious and they have English menu😁 those buckwheat crepes were amazing! ( I had Norvegian with salmon and my hubby ham & cheese).

Our friend who is from Paris told us we couldn't go to Paris without going to his favorite creperie, this place. Just wow! He was right, this place was so delicious and the best crepes we've ever had. We each ordered one savory and one sweet crepe, as recommended by our friend, and had some beers to go with our meal. We loved everything about this place from the outdoor seating to the service to the food. We had a wonderful time and will come back when we visit again. Highly recommended!!

Everything in this place is nice. Indoor has a great atmosphere. We had salmon gallete and crepe to eat in the afternoon, which was very good and tasty. All food and drink prices are inexpensive. Great outdoor seating and has a great view outside.

The paella was so dissappointing. It was served with a common plate instead of classical iron plate, and the paella was obviously already made for quite long as it was not hot at all. The taste is as same as the pealla I bought at Picard(frozen food chain store). The tapas were ok. The only advantage is that this restaurant is open at the afternoon.

It's still a very cool metal bar. The music is all kinds of metal, there are decorations all over the place and the best: Beer and food is awesome! The meat quality is superb and prices reasonable for the food. Friendly staff and free refill of your potato wedges ( if you ask for it) included.

I come to Black Dog since 2005 to enjoy great steaks 🥩 in a unique atmosphere. The lomo is simply fantastic, the potatoes are delicious, specifically combined with the plate of 6 sauces. I enjoy myself every time. Generally I come here for celebrations. I had my first date with my wife here, celebrated birthdays, promotions, basically all milestones. I brought family, friends and coworkers. Black Dog and the delicious steaks have become synonymous with good times in my life. I love the variety of people eating here. You can find everything from metal heads to families and business men in this restaurant. Everyone enjoying a great meal! I can’t recommend this place enough. I will be back, order my lomo erectus and have a great time. Again and again 🙂

Friendly staff, correct finger food and priced right. I tried the tequila piment sauce, spicy and tasty! Great music. Small terrace in the front and the restaurant in the back. Great spot for metalheads.

Really cool counter-culture bar/restaurant. Very Heavy Metal. Right up my alley!. It's in a sweet neighborhood right out of Le Marais. Service was good. Food was good but I loved the music and overall ambience. Would definitely recommend this place and go back with a group of friends.

It had been a very long time since I last returned to Café Beaubourg, and I was curious to rediscover the place. I had noticed that the rating on this platform was not particularly high (below 4), but I still wanted to make up my own mind. Overall, I was personally welcomed and served quite well, which allowed me to enjoy my break. However, I observed a situation that I found rather unfortunate. Two Asian tourists sat at a table close to mine and waited for more than fifteen minutes without anyone approaching them, even though there were only about a dozen people seated on the terrace at that time (Sunday, August 17th, around 4 pm). Discouraged, they eventually left without ordering. I am not sure whether the young waiter with mid-length curly hair simply did not notice them, but the end result was that they left with a negative impression. I find this regrettable because, beyond the restaurant’s reputation, it also affects the image of Paris for visitors. This iconic location deserves a level of service that matches its history and charm. I hope my feedback will be taken as a constructive remark to help improve the experience for all guests.

We were recommended this place and decided to go for lunch! The highlight of our lunch was Ethan! Him and Benjamin took great care of us, making recommendations and explaining the menu very well! The food was delicious, I had the tuna tartare with avocado which was fresh, good wine and very unique place! We definitely will come back!

They prepare a whole sea bass fried with garlic and spices that is phenomenal! We added some vegetable fried rice which was a perfect companion. And for desert we had the sticky rice and mango which was delicious. I had read reviews that indicated bad service but our experience was the opposite, our waiter was very friendly and efficient. This was a good option to change the French cousins in Paris. I do recommend this Thai restaurant.

The food was amazing and the staff super nice! We had a pad Thai and a beef with vegetables (we added extra rice) and they were super tasty. We highly recommend the flan with coconut milk for dessert. It was AMAZING 😍. The coconut water is also good! Highly recommended!

It was our first escargot which we liked. We tried the Onion soup, chicken salad, lasagna, and a 4 cheese pizza. The soup was ok as well as the salad. The lasagna was really good!

Absolutely one of my favorite places we ate during our European 2023 vacation! The food was delicious without being too pricey, best coffee we tried while in Paris, and the stew was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely. We knew a little French, and the waiter met us halfway without any trouble -- they were friendly and polite, and helped translate any parts we asked for clarity with on the menu. We sat down for a quiet dinner after a visit to the Notre Dame cathedral, it was right at sunset. The weather was perfect, late summer/early autumn feeling (after some morning rain), and they left their doors open to let in the breeze. A cat wandered in at one point, seemed very friendly with all the customers and employees. It felt idyllic.
