Had a lovely lunch, this place has been around since 1912, so it's got that classic Parisian bistro charm but without feeling too stiff or fancy. It’s part of Alain Ducasse’s group now, so you know you’re in good hands food-wise.
I went for the set lunch menu (please take note that set menu may be changed from time to time), it was beautifully prepared, simple yet traditional French dishes done right. The flavors were rich but balanced, and the portions were just right, not too heavy.
The service was amazing, very attentive without being overbearing. I was looked after by a friendly lady who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She explained the menu really well and checked in just the right amount. It’s those little touches that make a meal feel just nice.
At the end of the meal, they brought out some chocolate from their own factory, which was such a nice surprise. Rich, smooth, and just the perfect finish to a really satisfying lunch.
If you’re in Paris and want a relaxed but good French dining experience without the tourist-trap vibe, Benoit is a solid choice. It feels like stepping into a piece of history, but with warm service and food that totally holds up today.
Recommend for lunch, definitely worth a visit.

I will first start off by saying that the service here was fantastic and the wait staff were super friendly and very attentive!
I made reservations for the restaurant a couple weeks in advance, but when I came in at 7pm (opening time) I was seated right at the entranceway where patrons come in to check in for their reservations. I wondered if it was because I was a solo diner so it felt like I was an afterthought. So not only was it chilly whenever someone entered or exited the establishment, it felt awkward because my meal and dining experience was the first thing people saw when entering so it was a bit uncomfortable for me as I was getting some stares.
My food was actually just okay. I had the French onion soup which was good. I also had the beef ordered medium— however it came out (overcooked) medium well, and even though a sauce was poured onto it the meat still tasted bland and dry. For dessert I had little cream puffs that is dipped in a tasty chocolate sauce.
I’ve dined at many Michelin star restaurants across the USA, Portugal, and Spain and had wonderful, impressive experiences and meals at all of them. This experience was very much a let down. When dining at a Michelin restaurant, there was always that “wow factor” in the dishes and presentation, but that was not the case here. This experience felt like it was your average expensive restaurant. I would say that my favorite parts of the meal were the dessert as well as the bread (not the baguette— I felt like I almost chipped a tooth on how hard/stale it was).
Would I come back? Most likely not. There are a ton more options across Paris that I would prefer to try over a repeat experience here.

I had a wonderful dinner at Benoit. I was a solo diner. The staff made me feel very welcome. They helped with menu choices. The profiteroles were the best dessert ever! The staff packed what I could not finish to take home. They called a taxi for me to return to my hotel. I enjoyed my dinner & I plan to visit the NY location when I am there.

Good service (speaks English), good food with bistro feeling - we got the somehow affordable lunch menu with three dishes and payed around 90€ for two people.
We were very pleasantly surprised about the consistency of the food, I particularly liked the very cross crunchy fish skin of one of our main dishes and several small pieces of leek that were somehow just a pleasure to eat.
What we didn‘t like too much was that one of our spoons was dirty and also the table cloth didn’t seem too fresh, but those things happen. Also the tarte tatin as a dessert was good but felt behind compared the other dishes.

So welcoming to English speakers; the maitre’d was outstandingly friendly. Food was enjoyable, served in an elegant setting. Some very classic French dishes on offer.

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

We had an absolutely amazing birthday dinner here. I have always loved the ambiance and decor and in Le Georges, but this time I’m impressed of the staff. The staff is super friendly, professional and attentive, with a personal touch. We came with flowers, they immediately pulled a ice bucket for champagne for the flowers. We changed seat from outside to inside mid meal. They handled everything gracefully without any hesitation. When we want to have the birthday cake we brought, they made it a special moment with singing and the candle as what I see they always do. I loved everything. My friend was unfortunately not in a good mood before dinner, but we ended up having such an amazing time because of Le Georges. For that, I send my gratitude :) alongside with my five star recommendation.

It took a while to figure out how to get to this restaurant because it’s at the top of the George Pompidou museum (6th floor) and there are no signs at the entrance about the restaurant at all. We had to ask several people inside about where to find it. Once we got there everything else went smoothly, although they first sat us in the sun with me having to look directly into the sun to see my partner. Not good. But they allowed us to change tables easily because the restaurant was empty. There is glass all around which allows for spectacular views of the Paris skyline. The wait staff were very nice and helpful in guiding us to make good meal and wine choices. The food came very quickly and was beautifully plated. We started with a nice salad that had pomegranate in it. My entree was “Silver Cod” and was perfectly cooked and delicious. My partner had salmon which was also very good. Highly recommend this place!

We came to Le George expecting a true fine dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The view is undeniably stunning — that’s the only highlight of the evening.
The food was below average, lacking both creativity and flavor. For the high price point, we expected much more in terms of quality and presentation. The service also felt inattentive and not up to the standard of a restaurant that positions itself as upscale.
Disappointing overall. Not worth the price tag or the fine dining label, apart from the beautiful setting.

A modern and chic restaurant at the top of Centre Pompidou with great views of the whole city where you can see Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame cathedral and of course, the Eiffel Tower.
Food was great but could be better for the price, especially given that it is a nice restaurant. I ordered the steak frites and my partner the lamb chops, my steak was dry on the outside, but tender on the inside, the lamb and mash potatoes were delicious.
Service was great and attentive despite how busy it was. I would go here again for the nice views of the city. Prior reservations are required and recommended that you sit inside for better views of the city.

George – above the rooftops of Paris
If you want to step into the future while in Paris, to see the world from the perspective of a dove of peace, then George is the place to be. It's nostalgic, and yet the ascent—those escalators rising skyward—is still an elevating experience. And once you arrive, the sky opens up. Old Paris lies below you like a quiet memory.
The rooftop terrace is beautiful, yes—but it's inside where you truly arrive. A cocoon of light and soft futurism, still shaped by that science-fiction idea the building once embodied. The Centre Pompidou was just opening when I was growing up. It was the future then. And somehow, it still is—a flagship of modernity that continues to carry its promise.
You're led to your place with Grace. A table with white linen, a single rose that now seems slightly out of place—almost outdated—but still glowing gently. The menu is refined, well-curated french cuisine ,the food consistently excellent. But that's just the frame.
You come for the effect. The mood. The space between the view and the silence. The people who sit there—many of them seem to have returned, not for the first time. Of course, there are tourists. The place has earned that. But there’s balance, and that balance creates the atmosphere.
I always go before I leave Paris. Before I jump on the train and return to everyday life. I leave in love with the new tranquility of Paris with the moment, with life in such a complicated timeline

Lovely view of the fountain!
But tables were too close to one another and you couldn't enjoy a proper meal.
Moreover, the crêpes were a bit dry and slightly burnt, the filling was not very satisfying.. but for 12€ it was okay.

We spent a few days in Paris and we didn't find this place until the last day and we really regretted not finding it sooner
They have a very good menu and their selection of crepes and galettes is very good
The prices are very reasonable and they are located across the street from a small playground which was a nice addition to watch the children play

Our friend who is from Paris told us we couldn't go to Paris without going to his favorite creperie, this place. Just wow! He was right, this place was so delicious and the best crepes we've ever had. We each ordered one savory and one sweet crepe, as recommended by our friend, and had some beers to go with our meal. We loved everything about this place from the outdoor seating to the service to the food. We had a wonderful time and will come back when we visit again. Highly recommended!!

I been to this place three different times. Their happy hour is so affordable. Great drinks, great appetizers for best prices. Their green peppers, potatoes and paella were the best.

The paella was so dissappointing. It was served with a common plate instead of classical iron plate, and the paella was obviously already made for quite long as it was not hot at all. The taste is as same as the pealla I bought at Picard(frozen food chain store).
The tapas were ok. The only advantage is that this restaurant is open at the afternoon.

Nice tapas!
Although the QR code doesn’t work for English menu, the staff is very helpful!

What a discovery! The food is fabulous (best tapas I've had), the service very friendly and efficient, the atmosphere very warm (we were there on a night without live music, but will return for another occasion). Excellent value for money as well.
A friend lost his phone, and the owner spent almost an hour helping us find it (it has slipped under the platform where we were eating), service way beyond what one could expect. Thank you! We'll be back.

Really cool counter-culture bar/restaurant. Very Heavy Metal. Right up my alley!. It's in a sweet neighborhood right out of Le Marais. Service was good. Food was good but I loved the music and overall ambience. Would definitely recommend this place and go back with a group of friends.

If you like death metal, you have to eat dinner here or grab a beer here. In fact, everyone should.
I’m actually not a death metal fan but came as an open minded adventurous person. This place is the real deal and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.
If this was a common jazz bar the line for the food would be wrapped around the street, and/or reservations would be booked out for months. It’s a secret gem in Paris.
Now, I have to say, it is still a secret because it is a *legit* death metal bar and restaurant. If you want to blend in wear all black and maybe spend a few months growing out a thick beard. (Pro tip: Grab a Shining t-shirt). It’s worth it!!
Meat was tender not fatty. The meat was imported from Argentina. The dipping sauce was flawless with the slightest hint of spice (not too much). The potatoes were the best, most potatoey, yellow potatoes I’ve ever had. There isn’t a near second I’m considering, I just know it was the best potatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. The dish I ordered was called “the threesome” on the English menu.
I. am. stunned. Absolutely excellent.

I come to Black Dog since 2005 to enjoy great steaks 🥩 in a unique atmosphere. The lomo is simply fantastic, the potatoes are delicious, specifically combined with the plate of 6 sauces. I enjoy myself every time.
Generally I come here for celebrations. I had my first date with my wife here, celebrated birthdays, promotions, basically all milestones. I brought family, friends and coworkers. Black Dog and the delicious steaks have become synonymous with good times in my life.
I love the variety of people eating here. You can find everything from metal heads to families and business men in this restaurant. Everyone enjoying a great meal!
I can’t recommend this place enough. I will be back, order my lomo erectus and have a great time. Again and again 🙂

Our food was amazing here. Healthy and tasty! We got a salad and a sandwich. Their gluten-free bread is very good. Easy options if you are gluten-free. We also had the chia seed parfait for dessert which was fresh and not too sweet. We will be returning!

After several days of decadent food this came as a welcome meal, full of flavor and so healthy!! The avocado toast paired with the goat cheese salad was refreshing and absolutely delicious! And the flatbread with roasted vegetables and fresh mozzarella was hearty but not heavy. Totally recommend to anyone in Paris searching for healthy and tasty food.

Overall experience was okay. The 14€ avocado toasts are overpriced for what you get. Paying an extra 3,5€ for a single poached egg or 4€ for that little bit of smoked salmon is not worth it. And the taste was just not overwhelming. In addition the waiter was clearly in a bad mood and made us feel uncomfortable.

They prepare a whole sea bass fried with garlic and spices that is phenomenal! We added some vegetable fried rice which was a perfect companion. And for desert we had the sticky rice and mango which was delicious. I had read reviews that indicated bad service but our experience was the opposite, our waiter was very friendly and efficient. This was a good option to change the French cousins in Paris.
