I absolutely loved the temporary exposition they are doing for the treasures saved from gaza. You can see really the impact of destruction and the things as humanity we have lost just because of greed and evil. I recommend this place for everyone.

Decades of somewhat neglect have taken toll on what used to be the #1 tech-building in the world. Curatorially, museum and exhibitions must update, too.
HERM PAZ - 2 months ago
This museum is falling apart, literally. It’s aging terribly. Much of the iconic facade does not actually work anymore, there is bird poop on everything, metal is rusting, bolts are popping out… it’s really that bad. Also, the architect unfortunately did not think to design higher ceilings. Anyone taller than 5’11” will have a problem on some floors with ducking your head, very very odd design decision. Exhibitions were just okay, very surface level and not well organized.

We came to see an exhibit about fragrances and the history of them. It was such a unique and immersive experience! The building is also beautiful so be sure to give yourself time to roam.

A beautiful exhibition with clear design and in a very interesting building. Visit the rooftop for a magnificent view on the city! The permanent exhibition is digastable amount of info and artifacts, some of them extraordinary, but the entire experience leaves a lot of question untouched. (most pressing: arabs in France, France in the Arab world...)

Truly enjoyed our breakfast at Breakfast in America. The food was hot, fresh and good. We had no complaints and know where to come for an American style breakfast. Our server was nice and the prices were reasonable

Great place for breakfast with real and unlimited coffee. I just cannot say enough good about the friendliness of the employees, especially Denise. If you are ever in the Latin Quarter of Paris, the 5th, drop in for some great food. If you are from the USA especially they have OUR unlimited coffee refills also!

LOVE this place. As tourists from the US, we’ve had a bit of a struggle finding places that suit us for breakfast. We tried all sorts of cuisines over our week stay but still missed the traditional eggs, toast and taters that we are so used to. A lot of breakfast spots we visited had extremely sweet mains for breakfast or things we weren’t very used to. Finding this spot was amazing. We got in a hearty breakfast of eggs, toast, potatoes and pancakes and a good old cup of coffee and OJ. The hot coco is also delicious. Enough to last us the day until dinner time.
The atmosphere resembles traditional 50’s style diners which was also exciting to see. The staff is absolutely delightful. Thank you and we’ll probably be back someday!

This place is a fantastic choice for simple yet delicious food! It’s especially perfect on Sunday mornings, where you’ll find a mix of American families and tourists enjoying their breakfast and creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The vibes here are genuinely great, and the staff adds to the experience with their friendliness and attentiveness. True to its advertising, this diner perfectly captures the essence of an authentic American-style experience. The coffee stands out as exceptional, and the desserts are equally satisfying, adding a sweet touch to the meal. Overall, my visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

Dinner, Conversation and Cognac
Walking near the Sorbonne in the 5th District we came upon Le Buisson Ardent and saw a wonderful lamb entree on the menu. We settled in for 2+ delicious hours of cafe dining, including that lamb, dessert and cognac. All accompanied by the charm and conversation of the owner and young patrons surrounding us. Highly recommend!

Dining here feels like finding a hidden gem in the heart of Paris. This is a place where the effortless charm of a relaxed vibe and welcoming atmosphere meets the finesse of beautifully crafted cuisine.
Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a leisurely lunch, the people at Le Buisson Ardent effortlessly deliver both culinary excellence and a sense of ease that lingers long after the meal is over.
This is one of those very rare places you immediately want to return to. A true Parisian treasure!

Nice place to have French food. Staff is very friendly. We ordered a starter with beef which was a bit too salty. However, it came with very flavorful olive oil dressing. It would be good if there was some more salad. The shrimp salad is very good. I also ordered a mojito. It did not have enough lime😌.

Found this place just walking around. Very decent food. Exceeded expectations. We had the beef tartare, tuna tartare, grilled squid/octopus (polpe), pan fried tuna and ipa.
They served us Evian for EUR6.5 which I was tempted to give 4 stars for service, haiya, but I should’ve just been assertive and asked for tap water instead 😅
But overall, again, much better than anticipated.

Big compliment to the staff for their kindness. I came with an upset stomach and got just what I needed to finally eat again. Their soup of the day, carrott puree and mousse au chocolat were delicious and made me feel like a human again. Thank you

Loved this cosy very Parisian wine place.
It offers superb hospitality, especially if you start off speaking in limited French, only to find that the hosts can actually speak English just fine 🤣 (Oh it's so many moons ago when I visited France and they only would converse in French!).
The place embodies the essence of a wine (bar?) with loads of bottles lining the walls and the lovely knowledgeable host asking for your preference to provide you with your perfect choice of wine.
They also serve delicious little food dishes that will ensure you don't get completely inebriated and unruly with your intake of many bottle of delicious wine.
The place also offers a limited selection of food and I had a lovely dish of fish gratin. It was yummy - I highly recommend giving it a visit ❤️

Such a great experience! The hostess provided several samples of French wine based on our preferences and provided great descriptions of origin, grape variety, etc. you walk in sit down and she just starts pouring to see what you like. When you find your winner, she pours a glass. Simple. Fun.

A must visit while in Paris! Wonderful experience. We ordered the mix board with 3 cheeses and several charcuterie selections. Everything was delicious. We had the opportunity to sample several wines before pouring our first glass. The location was away from the tourism and large crowds but still central in the city. Outstanding customer service. Our waitress spoke English and took the time to explain everything to us with such joy and attentiveness.

Of the five nights I was in Paris, I came to Le 5eme Cru three times. If you love wine then this is the place for you. Beatrice was a most welcoming and friendly sommelier who dug through piles of stacked up wine boxes to find me something special. She talked passionately about wine and was an enthusiastic expert. There are some really great bottles tucked away here and the prices are outrageously good for some old Bordeaux’s and other great selections. There is great wine here for all budgets. The food was hearty and delicious. It’s very cosy, especially in the evening. The vibe was special both when quiet and when full of locals. My loyalty card has three stamps and I’m halfway to a free bottle. I hesitate to recommend for fear it’d be harder to get a table in future but I’d come back to Paris just for this place.

What a wonderful place to stumble upon after cabaret! Beatrice and Bruno welcomed us, talked to us about wine and cheese, selected a delicious cheese plate and wine to accompany it. I would love to come back, well worth a visit.

Really nice caffe, prices are good since it's in the center of Paris. The waiter was really nice and charming. You get a lot of food so if you (like me) can't eat much😅 then split it with your travel buddy. I ordered the cheesburger and my mom ordered fried chicken. Overall 10/10, would visit again. This is the only place in Paris where I was served drinks immediately and didnt have to wait for food in order to get my drinks. Would reccommend but sometimes it gets busy because it's a local parisians place.

Atmosphere was lively and fun! Place was filled with young people. I wish I'd ordered the cheese board, but we chose the French Burger. It v was all right. Birthing great. Service was s...l ...o...wwww. I had to get up to get the table napkins, and again to get us ketchup. I also had to get up because my drink never showed up. Server was sweet as anything, but i felt like we were forgotten... maybe they were busier than usual on a rainy night.

Relaxed bar near Sorbonne University.
Prices are cheap for Paris city centre, and the vibe is easygoing, great spot for a casual drink without the crowds or pressure. And the portions are generous.

Great place to go out with friends. The prices are amazing, the pints are okay about 3 euros and a burguer with fries was 11 euros, so for a Paris night out it was extremely cheap. The service however was not that good, there two waiters and they were really bothered to be there. The fact that you pay as you order is good though.

I've always wanted to try this place, got the chance to go there for lunch with a few colleagues. We had a few appetizers to share, I liked the guac and the octopus the rest was good as well. Then I ordered the trilogy of ceviches as I couldn't decide which one to have. Food was fresh and delicious, the waitress was super nice. I would definitely go again.

Love the salade - Papas a la Huancaína, especially Huancaína sauce, creamy with ají amarillo flavor, well balanced!
The main dish Ceviche de pato, which the sauce made with a Peruvian corn beer, perfect match with the duck!

Thanks to a gift, smartbox we ended up at this INCREDIBLE restaurant.
The food is stunning, and the mixtures of spices is out of this world. Really. So exotic and so good.
The tuna ceviche with mango sauce was especially memorable.
The waitress was delightful too. So friendly.

Best ceviche I've ever had.
We came here 12 years ago and we were stunned by the ceviche. We were back today and it's always outstanding. The best I've ever had. Consistently.
The other dishes we tried varied from good to very good.
The place is pretty small. It has a good atmosphere. There is a single waiter, who is efficient and pleasant. The whole staff speaks Spanish.

Of the best food I ate during my trip to Paris! We arrived a few minutes before they opened and they still served us. The food was AMAZING, plus they don't spare anything with the portions! We ordered couscous and tagine with figs and nuts and it was delicious!! My family has been going to that restaurant for decades and I will keep the tradition whenever I have the opportunity to return to Paris!

Delicious traditional Moroccan restaurant. The place is worth the visit alone, with typical decorations. The food is tasty and fresh, serving most notably a variety of tajine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Would recommend booking.

My wife and I came here on the last night of our 2 week honeymoon in France and this was my favorite restaurant from the whole trip. The food was incredibly flavorful, from the little dishes brought out before ordering down to the dessert at the end. The service was also impeccable and the decor is so pretty too. I can't praise L'Atlas enough for this fantastic meal and overall experience!!!

A 3.5 to 4-star good local restaurant, with freshly made food. Unfortunately, the dishes were nothing to write home about. My veggie pasta was tasty but slightly overcooked & the sauce was a bit on the lighter side, and my friend's salmon barley pasta was ok but a bit too bland. Good thing is that the food came very fast. Slightly disappointing also is that, arriving at 7pm and leaving at 8.30pm the restaurant was still relatively empty (30-40% occupancy only). That was a Wednesday evening. Is it a good or a bad sign?

Family of four, 2 children, 2 adults. Children’s meal was dry pasta with ham and grated cheese. 3 meals arrived, 1 did not. We enquired after 5 minutes and they realised they had forgotten mine. When it arrived, it did not taste of much so I added salt but the salt pot lid was not screwed on and the whole pot ended up in my meal. Inedible.
An ice bucket was not provided for our bottle of Prosecco and when we asked, they did not have one or offer to keep it in the fridge for us so it got warm on our table.
