Jean Nouvel's architectural marvel offers free access to its panoramic terrace. The ingenious photo-sensitive windows adjust like camera irises throughout the day. The mint tea in the 9th-floor café comes with unparalleled Notre-Dame views - arrive before noon for best light.

We came to see an exhibit about fragrances and the history of them. It was such a unique and immersive experience! The building is also beautiful so be sure to give yourself time to roam.
Nathan Bilancio - a year ago
The building alone is worth the visit. The temporary exhibitions (Palestine, Jean Genet) were brilliant, with lots of information to read.
It seems both exhibitions were mixed with the permanent ones. With signage not always clear (should we take the stairs or lift...), it was sometimes confusing. Not a problem since everything was great, but a bit annoying at times.
The bookstore has lots of choices to deepen the subjects...

A truly immersive and educational experience. This place is such a gem, I learned so much in 2 hours, about the Arabic culture and also about Baghdad, a temporary exhibition enhanced by Ubisofts Assassin’s Creed Videogames graphics and story telling.
My biggest takeaway was “what countries are part of the Arab world”. Voila, excellent idea to come here when in Paris
Cristian Garcia - 3 months ago
Well-meaning exhibitions but poor organisation. Very little help or explanation offered by staff as we tried to find our way around with a pram. We ended up spending several minutes just looking for the accessible entrance to the exhibit (there wasn’t really one).

LOVE this place. As tourists from the US, we’ve had a bit of a struggle finding places that suit us for breakfast. We tried all sorts of cuisines over our week stay but still missed the traditional eggs, toast and taters that we are so used to. A lot of breakfast spots we visited had extremely sweet mains for breakfast or things we weren’t very used to. Finding this spot was amazing. We got in a hearty breakfast of eggs, toast, potatoes and pancakes and a good old cup of coffee and OJ. The hot coco is also delicious. Enough to last us the day until dinner time.
The atmosphere resembles traditional 50’s style diners which was also exciting to see. The staff is absolutely delightful. Thank you and we’ll probably be back someday!

This place is a fantastic choice for simple yet delicious food! It’s especially perfect on Sunday mornings, where you’ll find a mix of American families and tourists enjoying their breakfast and creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The vibes here are genuinely great, and the staff adds to the experience with their friendliness and attentiveness. True to its advertising, this diner perfectly captures the essence of an authentic American-style experience. The coffee stands out as exceptional, and the desserts are equally satisfying, adding a sweet touch to the meal. Overall, my visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

This is a super cute diner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 3 of us, each trying different things. Omelet, breakfast burrito and pancakes and everything was delicious.

If you’re an American feeling homesick for a good old American breakfast then this is the place for you. I had the classic farmer’s breakfast with two eggs, two bacon and two pancakes. The pancakes were perfect.

Great American style food similar to Dennys or IHOP, its a little small in size but it's Paris, id recommend going before 12pm to avoid the crowds

Dinner, Conversation and Cognac
Walking near the Sorbonne in the 5th District we came upon Le Buisson Ardent and saw a wonderful lamb entree on the menu. We settled in for 2+ delicious hours of cafe dining, including that lamb, dessert and cognac. All accompanied by the charm and conversation of the owner and young patrons surrounding us. Highly recommend!

We had a very warm welcome and great friendly service at Buisson Ardent. Yannis took great care of us. He reccomended a great bottle of wine. The food and ambience were delightful.

Nice place to have French food. Staff is very friendly. We ordered a starter with beef which was a bit too salty. However, it came with very flavorful olive oil dressing. It would be good if there was some more salad. The shrimp salad is very good. I also ordered a mojito. It did not have enough lime😌.

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Buisson Ardent — it was our very first meal in Paris, and it couldn’t have been a better start to our trip. The food was outstanding, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.
We especially enjoyed the Œuf mayonnaise à la truffe, the creamy risotto, and the Gigot d’agneau — all recommended by the staff and absolutely delicious.
Beyond the food, what truly made the experience memorable was the warm and genuine hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Yannis and the kind blonde waiter (whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch) for making us feel so welcomed and well cared for.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and heartfelt Parisian dining experience!

What a wonderful place to stumble upon after cabaret! Beatrice and Bruno welcomed us, talked to us about wine and cheese, selected a delicious cheese plate and wine to accompany it. I would love to come back, well worth a visit.

I came for the wine and left with a great conversation with the staff. This little gem I thought would be crowded in lunch time but was lovely and quiet for my lunchtime visit. The owners know wine and are very open to discussing at length for your deeper knowledge. It’s a superb place to dine alone or with a group. Highly recommend! Magnifique !

Great place to go out with friends. The prices are amazing, the pints are okay about 3 euros and a burguer with fries was 11 euros, so for a Paris night out it was extremely cheap. The service however was not that good, there two waiters and they were really bothered to be there. The fact that you pay as you order is good though.

Very nice cafe, we went here for breakfasts, and everything was nice. Food is decent (it’s not a patisserie, but even then it was a nice croissant), you can get a coffee or nice tea, for a realistic price. I don’t know where they get their food, because croissants don’t really seem amazingly fresh, but again it was still very nice to be there. Good atmosphere too

I've always wanted to try this place, got the chance to go there for lunch with a few colleagues. We had a few appetizers to share, I liked the guac and the octopus the rest was good as well. Then I ordered the trilogy of ceviches as I couldn't decide which one to have. Food was fresh and delicious, the waitress was super nice. I would definitely go again.

Love the salade - Papas a la Huancaína, especially Huancaína sauce, creamy with ají amarillo flavor, well balanced!
The main dish Ceviche de pato, which the sauce made with a Peruvian corn beer, perfect match with the duck!

The tuna ceviche with mango sauce was especially memorable.

Of the best food I ate during my trip to Paris! We arrived a few minutes before they opened and they still served us. The food was AMAZING, plus they don't spare anything with the portions! We ordered couscous and tagine with figs and nuts and it was delicious!! My family has been going to that restaurant for decades and I will keep the tradition whenever I have the opportunity to return to Paris!

My wife and I came here on the last night of our 2 week honeymoon in France and this was my favorite restaurant from the whole trip. The food was incredibly flavorful, from the little dishes brought out before ordering down to the dessert at the end. The service was also impeccable and the decor is so pretty too. I can't praise L'Atlas enough for this fantastic meal and overall experience!!!

Delicious traditional Moroccan restaurant. The place is worth the visit alone, with typical decorations. The food is tasty and fresh, serving most notably a variety of tajine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Would recommend booking.

A 3.5 to 4-star good local restaurant, with freshly made food. Unfortunately, the dishes were nothing to write home about. My veggie pasta was tasty but slightly overcooked & the sauce was a bit on the lighter side, and my friend's salmon barley pasta was ok but a bit too bland. Good thing is that the food came very fast. Slightly disappointing also is that, arriving at 7pm and leaving at 8.30pm the restaurant was still relatively empty (30-40% occupancy only). That was a Wednesday evening. Is it a good or a bad sign?

BE CAREFUL: if you are gluten-free like me, make sure you call ahead of time to ensure they have gf pasta! But other than that, can't fault the place!

The restaurant is cozy.
It is recommended to shares the dishes, as it allows you to try different types of homemade pasta at once, just like we did.
All of the three dishes were delightful and delicious.
