We had a wonderful experience at Thoumieux on September 15th. The atmosphere was chic and very Parisian, perfect for a special evening.
The service was attentive and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout the night. The food was beautifully presented and delicious – each course felt refined and well-balanced. We especially appreciated the details and the care taken to create a memorable dining experience.
It was a perfect choice for celebrating a birthday in Paris. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special!
We would definitely recommend Thoumieux to anyone looking for a stylish, authentic Parisian dining experience.

Best hotel in Paris! Walk out of the door, look left and voila! The Eiffel Tower. It’s on a nice street with great French shops, restaurants, and pastries. The staff is unbelievable, they make sure all your needs are met. From checking in to checking out, just 1000% service. Next time in Paris? I’ll be back.

I recently stayed at the Thoumieux Hotel in Paris, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is stylish, warm, and intimate, with that perfect blend of Parisian charm and modern comfort. Every detail feels carefully thought out, from the chic design of the rooms to the cozy yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel both pampered and at home, not to mention the perfect location in the heart of Paris walkable to so many great restaurants and cafes.
I have to give a special mention to Jennifer, who went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable. Jennifer exemplifies what true hospitality should be: personal, attentive, and delivered with genuine kindness. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience, and I truly believe she elevates the entire hotel. Jennifer became a friend of mine instantly because she is one of these people that you want to keep present in your life!!
Thank you for the whole team! I will refuse to stay in a different hotel from now on except Thoumieux!
Also let’s not forget to mention Obu the gorgeous resident cat who makes sure things are going well 🤗🤗

The restaurant's taste, atmosphere was great. We truly like very much the terrace gets closed around 23:00 to respect the residences' upstairs. I wish it was like that in my home country. It is 01:00 :) Live music gives the place perfect ambiance. That was what ı was looking for a night out in Paris. Thank you

My husband and I tried this place for dinner and so glad we did! Adeline greeted us at the door and accommodated us even though I had messed up our reservation! She was so friendly and kind. The restaurant is so quaint and all the servers were cheerful, kind, and on top of everything. The food is the best we have had our entire trip or our trips here before! We did not get an appetizer but immediately ordered the souffle trio for dessert. I got the Chateaubriand with Bearnaise sauce, and my husband got the chicken in cream sauce. Both were so good and my filet was so tender it melted in my mouth. They have an extensive wine selection as well. The souffles are so amazing! The portions were plentiful and we were stuffed upon leaving! The prices are very fair for the quality of the food and dishes. This place was packed for good reason so book your reservation quickly! The servers all seemed to work together seemlessly and stay on top of your needs. We would highly recommend and will be back on our next trip!

The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was exquisite. Best mashed potatoes we have ever had. Service, however detracted from the experience. It took 20 min before a waiter stopped by. After dinner after waiting 15 min, we had to flag down a waiter to ask about our dessert soufflé. He acted like he had no idea we had an order. But it did come 5 min later.

Food is fantastic in a beautiful rustic Bresse" looking venue. The quenelle was delicious, the Chateaubriand was one of the best ever. The souflle trio for dessert was perfect and served table side would highly recommend

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful lunch at Auberge Bressane. The meal was delicious and the servers were delightful! They sang the happy birthday song to my husband (I didn’t ask but they caught on somehow), and obliged me when I asked if they would mind singing it in French too. Barbara made it so special and fun! We very much enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back! (Will try to post video of singing but not sure I’ll be successful.)

We always end up eating here at least once during any Paris visit. The quality of seasonal dishes and corresponding ingredients is just heaven. The frog legs here are my favorite in the entire city.
The wine selection is solid and the staff are happy to recommend a pairing or two for your meal. Champagne was great and so were the dishes: pigeon, veal, crab salad are some that we enjoyed! Recommended.

A traditional restaurant in the heart of Paris, renowned for being frequented by political figures and celebrities. You can sense the old charm in the excellent, typically French service, the classic dishes and the typical Parisian décor. The food was perfect and you can tell that they have been cooking here for a long time. The wine selection was excellent. I recommend visiting as a couple or in small groups. For larger groups, there are separate areas that are suitable for business dinners, for example.

I’d love to come again.
Great food, lovely ambience, and wonderful staff.
The entrée — a delicate mushroom dish wrapped like a little pouch — was both beautiful and delicious.
The main course featured perfectly cooked fish; the sauce paired wonderfully with the cabbage and went beautifully with the wine.
Even the little candies served with coffee were so pretty and charming.

Chez Françoise is a true Parisian treasure — a place where every detail feels intentional, warm, and full of heart. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a timeless charm: elegant décor, fresh flowers at every table, and a cozy atmosphere that’s as welcoming as it is refined.
The food? Absolutely exquisite. Every dish is not only delicious but presented like a work of art — beautifully plated, with vibrant colors and thoughtful touches that elevate the entire dining experience. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft.
It’s also easy to see why so many locals love this place. It’s not just about the food — it’s the sense of community, the familiar faces, the feeling of being part of something special.
With gracious, heartfelt service and an ambiance that soothes the soul, Chez Françoise deserves far more than five stars.

This place on Rue Amélie is such a hidden gem. The interior is cozy and beautifully designed, making it feel warm and luxury atmosphere as soon as you step inside. The menu is well-organized, offering a great selection that makes it easy to find something you’ll enjoy.
Every dish we tried was very tasty, clearly made with care and attention to detail. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable and want to linger a little longer. We truly enjoyed our visit and are already looking forward to coming back again.

★★★★★ Outstanding Birthday Celebration
Everything was absolutely wonderful at Café de L’Esplanade. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated perfectly. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was truly the best—attentive, kind, and made the evening feel special from start to finish.
A friend highly recommended Café de L’Esplanade to us, and after celebrating my wife’s birthday here, we wholeheartedly recommend it to others as well. It was a memorable experience and the perfect place for a special celebration.

Best French Restaurant!! We have visited twice during our Paris trip. It’s our first meal in Paris and it is so good that we have decided to visit again before we leave Paris. We have tried Foie Gras, Duck Confit, Stuffed Cabbage and many more. The foods are damn good, and the staff are very friendly. Please give it a try when you are in Paris! Recommended!

I sought out this restaurant because I wanted an authentic French restaurant that would be appropriate for someone with sensitivity to gluten. We had a fantastic meal! They were very attentive and accommodating to the GF restrictions. The atmosphere was lively and the staff friendly. Highly recommend!

A true neighborhood hidden gem recommended by the hotel we stayed. The food was classic, heartwarming French dishes, but it’s the staff that really made this place special. Laurent, the manager, was so friendly and funny, and the Pascal, the chef busy cooking in the kitchen, created some really delicious treats. The complimentary homemade potato chips with the homemade aioli impressed us immediately after we sat down. Then came the duck confit and stuffed cabbage as well as the fried risotto balls served on a bed of Swiss chard, all incredibly tasty, although a bit too salty for our liking. The highlight of the meal was the lemon soufflé, which was one of the best we have ever had and will never forget. It was a great dining experience, perhaps one of the best in Paris. We hope to come back again soon, as we feel we are already friends with Laurent and his staff by now.

We found this place on google with high reviews, we walked in without a reservation about 7:20pm. As soon as we walked in the staff was so nice and accommodating. There were several reserved tables but we lucked out and got a table immediately. The food was amazing and flavorful, unlike another restaurant we tried a day earlier. The service was fantastic and so friendly. If I was a local, I would come here all the time.

I had been wanting to have duck since arriving in Paris but hadn’t had a chance to - I’m so glad I waited until here because it was incredible. I was lucky enough to try both types of their duck and they were both heavenly. Dare I say this was my favorite dinner so far in Paris, and I’ve had great dinners. The cocktails were very delicious. Our server was so fun and friendly, I wish we didn’t have a place to go after because we would have wanted to try the dessert.

What an awesome place after a wonderful day. Touring Paris. The French onion soup was seriously the best ever! We had the crispy goat cheese and oh my gosh I have to learn how to makes that. Wrapped in some phyllo dough. Little bit of Honey on top of it. Yummy. We topped it off with a nice burger And some Irish coffees.
Great service.

If you want to enjoy quality food, you shouldn't visit this place.
To be precise, everything is based on the view of the Eiffel Tower. This is the most crucial perk of dining in this restaurant.
You will not enjoy your food because you will be sitting among people who come mainly to take pictures of themselves with the view. To sum up, it is not worth your money to dine here! (I should also mention the positive side of polite waiters.)
P.S. The food is also tasteless and lacks substantial flavour. (I tasted pasta and lasagna.)

Found this wonderful, inviting restaurant on my solo walk to the Eiffel Tower. I had the Prix Fixe dinner: spring rolls, Thai Beef with Basil, and the most scrumptious coconut flan with coconut icecream. I also had one the specialty cocktails and it was so delicious (don't remember what it was called, but it was green magic)! Truly one of the most unexpected and delicious meals of my week in Paris! By the time I left the restaurant at 9:30 pm, it was completely packed with mostly locals. That's a great sign of a popular place. Highly recommend this gorgeous and top quality restaurant!!

Decent Thai place. The lunch special set menu is tasty. We had spicy fish and red curry chicken. The portion was small and they did give lots of rice. The service was quick. For 23 Euro the two course meal was good.

A must visit. I would have given 5 stars for the taste and quality of the food as they were fantastic. However the portions were very small. The smallest rice or main dish we ever had were served here. We left hungry which was not great. But the service was very good as the people were very nice. And seems like it is also popular amongst the politicians as we have seen a few big name politicians of the French system eating there. I sincerely hope that they are fed enough for the sake of French people 😂😂😂😜😜😜.

During our stay in Paris we tried Villa Thai the first time and came back a second time
Because the food was so amazing. Personally this was the best Thai food I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend them if you’re in Paris. You won’t be disappointed! Their customer service is 10/10, as well.
Nathan Rose - a month ago
The food was pretty good but the portion sizes are very small compared to how much you have to pay for them. The pork dumplings were four tiny meatballs with a store bought hot sauce. The Thai curry comes in a small bowl and you have to pay extra for a portion of rice.
Overall decent food but be prepared for a not good price-performance ratio.

Really lovely spot for brunch! The atmosphere at Les Parisiennes is beautiful — super cozy and stylish, and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. Service was definitely 5⭐️!
We had the avocado toasts, eggs mayonnaise, pancakes, a virgin piña colada, and a cappuccino. Everything was nicely presented and fresh, though the food itself was just okay — good, but not amazing (more like 3⭐️ for taste).
Only downside: the water was €7.50, which felt a bit steep. Still, overall a great experience — I’d definitely come back for the vibe and service!

Tried the onion soup and the chicken ceasar salad with a hazelnut coffee. The onion soup was a big disappointment, just a sour soup with a layered weak cheese on top, not a fan. The rest was decent to good. Service was top notch.

Awesome location close to the Eiffel Tower, and the staff were great, but otherwise we weren’t impressed. While the side of ratatouille was fantastic, the French onion soup was far from the best we’ve had, and the salmon was OK (the chimichurri sauce helped a ton).

After visiting the Musée de l’Armée with my son, we were absolutely starving, we had skipped breakfast and were hoping to find something nearby. We first tried another café, but they had just stopped serving breakfast (literally two minutes after 11:00) and didn’t seem too eager to help.
Then we walked into Le Petit Cler, and the difference was night and day. We were greeted right away by a warm, friendly man who seated us with a smile. The whole vibe was calm, welcoming, and just what we needed.
We ordered from their full breakfast menu: my son had scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, fresh juice, and a chocolate croissant. I chose a mushroom omelette with cheese and a latte. The food was tasty, the portions generous, and the experience left us both happy and full.
A truly pleasant place where hospitality still means something. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast in Paris.

Just had a late lunch here. Got a table for 6 immediately. Eleven year old was very happy with her kids meal (buttered noodles, kool-aid-ish sugary water, and a creamsicle). The burger was good and juicy with an amazing bun, Beef Bouguignon was tender but lacking in wine flavor, and the shrimp tempura were tasty. Cost just under 100 euro for all 6 of us.

A Lovely Lunch at Le Roussilon on Rue Cler
While exploring the charming Rue Cler, one of Paris’s most delightful pedestrianized market streets, filled with fromageries, boulangeries, fruit vendors, and cafés, we stumbled upon Le Roussilon and decided to stop for lunch based on the good reviews we saw from others on Google Maps.
They had seats available, and we chose a table that opened right onto the pavement, perfect for soaking in the lively atmosphere of Rue Cler. The service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout.
The menu offered a very nice variety of options, and we decided on the Steak Tartare (Tartare de Bœuf) with French fries, Bœuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes, and shared an Île Flottante (floating island) for dessert. Each dish was well-prepared and delicious, the tartare fresh and flavorful, the boeuf bourguignon rich and hearty, and the dessert a light, sweet finish.
Le Roussilon also has a good selection of drinks, including draft and bottled beers, wine, and other beverages. We enjoyed a crisp white wine with our meal, which paired perfectly with the food.
Overall, it was a wonderful afternoon spent relaxing over lunch in a beautiful Parisian setting. We’ll definitely return to Le Roussilon the next time we visit Rue Cler.

This charming local gem serves up an unbelievable lunch on weekdays. Every dish is made from scratch, and you can taste the love in every bite. The owner is always there, adding a personal touch that makes the experience even better. Everything is classically, authentically French — no shortcuts here!
We savored the beef stew, bone marrow, and a rich French onion soup, paired perfectly with a glass of wine and a cold beer. It was the kind of meal that leaves you happily stuffed and already planning your next visit. Couldn’t ask for more!
