Our experience was delightful from start to finish. We were greeted by cheerful staff and sat at a lovely table. The decor is lovely and the food was incredibly delicious. Our dinner was one of the highlights during our stay in Paris. We cannot wait to return and enjoy another memorable evening. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

Thoumieux is a great restaurant in the 7th district of Paris. It is a modern French brasserie offering delicious food, a large selection of fine wines and savory cocktails. The ambiance is fantastic. From 9:00pm onwards, there is a pianist-singer. The service is also excellent. Our waiter Nathan was absolutely outstanding providing a world-class service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for an unforgettable evening in Paris!

Exceptional service from very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Ideal location close to Metro and Buses. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and a laundrette next door.
We have already booked return visit.
Only reservation. There is no lift and you need to climb stairs to reach your room

We recently stayed at Hotel Thoumieux and it was an amazing experience. We were there for 7 days Feb/March 2025. Rooms were beautiful, service was prompt and food was delicious. Location is ideal as it is at walking distance to many cute little shops, restaurants and the metro. In addition, it’s walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and it’s a clear view as you walk out of the hotel. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Thank you!!

The location of this hotel is very nice. That is why we stayed at this hotel for a second time. However, this time was aweful. There was a leaking airconditiong and they did not repair it. The next night the horror continued. Nobody from the front desk came to help us when we complained and we had to fix it ourselves in the middle of the night with towels. When we discussed this with the front desk, there were 20 year olds that did nothing but accused us for having the bright idea to book at the hotel. No apologies until I said that this is no way to speak to a customer that paid 700 euro for 2 nights to stay at a hotel and that was unable to sleep (which is the main purpose of a hotel). The bathroom is a decent size for Paris but has no defogging system. This could also be a result of them turning off our airco. The hotel is great normally because of the restaurant and the location but this was just unfriendly (even for french standards). No compensation was given because a broken airco is not their fault according to the manager. We will never be returning and removing it from the list for our colleagues to be coming here or our clients. There are enough hotels in the neighbourhood; please consider those hotels instead of this one.

This is the best meal I’ve had in Paris! The food quality was superb. The offerings were simple but on point. Vegetarian and fish options were not an afterthought. They were perfect. Beautiful presentation, and best of all, the service! What more could I ask for? I will be back next time. I am in Paris.
An additional note. This restaurant is one block away from a busy corner and gives you a calm atmosphere of a quieter environment just one block away from the bustling city.

Great meal at Pasco, we sat outside. They have a nice but limited set menu. one of my colleagues asked them to make a salad specially which they did and it was amazing.

Incredibly lovely staff, a chef that clearly takes pride in his food, and such a gorgeous view at night. Stumbled on to this place for a weekday dinner and we were absolutely ecstatic! The perfect egg was one of the best I’ve had. Lamb melted in your mouth. Small wine list but great options by the glass. Highly recommend and we will return as well!

Indulged in a solo dining experience at a charming French restaurant after a long voyage and day of meetings. Started with a lovely glass of Chablis which suited the entire menu well. The foie gras, presented in substantial proportions alongside thoughtfully paired pickled and fresh vegetables, was great (I was craving fois gras). Then I had the duck, which came with a deep sauce and wonderfully cooked French vegetables, the kind you’re hoping for when visiting France. Finally the chocolate moulleux cake, with fresh ice cream which was as delicious as you’d expect after the quality of the first two courses. I sheepishly finished nearly every bite of every dish. Merci to the staff for their kind and attentive service. Definitely recommended.

We were in Paris for 9 days and chose to come here based on a recommendation. I made reservations. I tried to change the reservation to add another person, website only allowed to cancel. Website said they were closed so I arrived early hoping to add a person. We were seated outside, because there wasn’t enough space inside. We are American and didn’t want to waste food, but were told we had to order 1 entree per person, which is no where on the website. I was traveling with 3 teen girls that don’t eat that much anyway. What we did order was absolutely delicious, the server we had was very attentive. The staff were amazing after dinner when the storm came and we were unable to get a Lyft. Great restaurant overall and I am glad we tried the food.

On the recommendation of Danny Meyer (NYC chef) we were able to make a lunch reservation. Charming dining room! I do believe we were the only “tourists”. Ordered the soufflé of the day with a crayfish sauce and we shared a trio of soufflés for dessert. It was a Lovely lovely afternoon! Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Parisian meal. Portions were quite large, perhaps next time I will share an entree.

Looking for a great French cafe that does it right? This is it. We saw on social media interviews with well-known chefs who were asked if they could eat three perfect meals in one day, what would they choose. One chose the famous chicken in the cream sauce at Auberge Bressane. We both ordered it and the deboned chicken breast was absolutely perfect and the sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. It came with a mountain of fantastic French fries. Although we were quite full, we shared a crepes Suzette for dessert. Oh my! What a great ending to a fantastic meal. The service was incredibly friendly and the general atmosphere is one which makes you feel comfortable. Make a reservation and go have a great experience.

What a delightful little gem! Auberge Bressane is a traditional French restaurant with the BEST soufflé! I was here 10 years ago and had a memorable meal and was so glad to come back for a reprise.
We had exquisite service and were lucky enough to snag the window table. Looking out on Paris street life while sipping fabulous wine is truly heaven.
Our soufflés (there were two kinds; crab and cheese) were done to perfection. We even had soufflés for dessert! They offer a trio sampler of sweet soufflés which were a perfect ending with a glass of champagne.
I truly hope to visit Paris again and make a return trip to this charming place. Highly recommend!

Such a delight. Service was so friendly and willing to explain about the food and make recommendations.
The wild boar stew was so delicious.
My husband had quenelles of fish in a cream sauce which may sound odd to an American palate but was genuinely delicious.
We really enjoyed every moment.

The restaurant got a nice cozy interior. The service is good. The seafood pantries is rather fluffy and light. The chicken leg is stuffed with olives, it is rather tasty and not too greasy. The meat is tender.
The dessert is good, the roasted almonds are crispy and chunky, and the ice cream is smooth and creamy. We had a good time, thank you.

Really enjoyed our dinner here.
Good food and good service. We didn’t have a booking but were lucky we got the last table available.
We ordered the escargot and cream soup for starters and the Sirloin and the sea bream.
The sea bream’s exceptional.
Spent about 40 Euro per person.
Probably best to make a reservation if planning to dine here.

Beautiful restaurant with great location and ambience. Service was excellent however the food was average. The sole at over 60 euros was not prepared at the table, and came out drier than usual as a result. We’ll probably miss this one the next time we’re in town.

When I come to Paris duck confit is a must. It certainly didn’t disappoint here. It was tender and delicious with the perfect crust on the skin. They have an excellent selection of wine and the wait staff was up to par. We had 11 in our party and they were willing to accommodate us on some pretty short notice. I will definitely be back here again.

From the welcome treat of hand cut potato chips to white asparagus to the duck, we thought it couldn’t get any better until the blood orange grand marnier soufflé . Superb! Both of us are gluten free and there were so many choices for us. A special treat was the delicious gluten free bread. Know you will be well taken care of at this restaurant!

Wonderful experience and delicious food! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We called to book a table at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The duck was awesome with the perfect portion size, the wine was wonderful, and the souffle was heaven! The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend Le Florimond!

We have lost count as to how many times we have dined at Le Florimond. Lori and I bring our family to Le Florimond when we are in Paris. This restaurant features home style french food. It's like eating at your French Grandma's house. Our favorites included Grandma's stuffed cabbage and the mille-feuille. Rather than try to choose a wine let Laurent do it for you. Laurent is the manager of the dining room and our friend. I have reservations about revealing Le Florimond to the masses, I don't want it to get so crowded by tourists that it looses its charm. Send our regards to Laurent and enjoy an authentic French dinner. We are once again on the way soon.

I had been wanting to have duck since arriving in Paris but hadn’t had a chance to - I’m so glad I waited until here because it was incredible. I was lucky enough to try both types of their duck and they were both heavenly. Dare I say this was my favorite dinner so far in Paris, and I’ve had great dinners. The cocktails were very delicious. Our server was so fun and friendly, I wish we didn’t have a place to go after because we would have wanted to try the dessert.

What an awesome place after a wonderful day. Touring Paris. The French onion soup was seriously the best ever! We had the crispy goat cheese and oh my gosh I have to learn how to makes that. Wrapped in some phyllo dough. Little bit of Honey on top of it. Yummy. We topped it off with a nice burger And some Irish coffees.
Great service.

If you want to enjoy quality food, you shouldn't visit this place.
To be precise, everything is based on the view of the Eiffel Tower. This is the most crucial perk of dining in this restaurant.
You will not enjoy your food because you will be sitting among people who come mainly to take pictures of themselves with the view. To sum up, it is not worth your money to dine here! (I should also mention the positive side of polite waiters.)
P.S. The food is also tasteless and lacks substantial flavour. (I tasted pasta and lasagna.)
khashayar reyhani - 3 months ago
The food was pretty good. I had the sirloin and with the crispy goat cheese for an appetizer. However the dinks were overpriced and didn’t taste great. The service was great and the food came out fast though. It’s nice that it is a good restaurant close to the Eiffel Tower.

Hidden treasure not far from Eiffel Tower.
We wanted a break from classic French food and soo happy we stopped in.
Beautiful ambience, friendly servers and delicious food made for a truly delightful and memorable dinner in Paris.
Everything was freshly made and served hot (spicy & temperature).
Appears to be a favorite spot of locals, staff knew many of the otherdiners by name.
Staff were attentive so they made us feel like we were regulars.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different from the French classics

Great ambiance, friendly staff. Spoke English, were very polite. My two year old was with us and they were very sweet to him. There were no high chairs so if your child is used to eating on high chairs, this maybe an issue. My son sits with us on regular dining chairs so we had no issues with adapting. Flavors were good. I had the steamed fish which I hindsight o wish i didn't. It just was not the kind of thai food I enjoy and I love Thai food. Serving sizes for the Price were too small and that's the only reason for my 4 star rating but I guess prices are reflective of the up scale feel they are going for.
Tom yum Soup was yummy, the crispy shrimp dumplings were really tasty even my son ate it.

Walk in to another local place as we walked by. We were seated quickly. They spoke to us in Spanish and English. Our host Anthony was really great. The chicken and ceviche were pretty great. The only slight down side was from my wife who had the prawn salad with our 5 small pieces of shrimp. Otherwise, it was a pretty good dinner. Thank you, Anthony.

We stopped by by chance, but unfortunately it wasn’t a good choice for breakfast. The service was slow and confused, the cappuccino was maybe 5/10, the pancakes were served cold, and they had run out of honey. The fruit was just symbolic — for us, that’s a 2/10. French toast with ice cream doesn’t really suit breakfast, but fair enough, it tasted okay — maybe a 6/10. We probably won’t come back here again, sorry :(

It was open later than others in the area which I appreciated after a long day of walking. Service was good.
The French onion soup was very mild, almost lacking any beef base at all.
The duck confit was tasty, albeit lacking salt.
The flank steak was good when dipped in the accompanying sauce.
Overall a lack of seasoning on the food for my palate. It's rare I use the salt and pepper shakers at a restaurant, but I did here.

The ambiance of the place was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
The food was served quickly, and the recommended dishes were spot on.
We tried the duck dish, which was absolutely perfect—10/10, incredibly flavorful and juicy.
The onion soup, also a 10/10 and highly recommended.
The flank steak had a delicious sauce and was enjoyable overall, but it was quite chewy inside, despite being cooked to a good medium level.
Apart from that, everything else we had was excellent.

This small restaurant was close to our bnb, so we gave it a try. It was casual, and dining was available streetside. The staff was pleasant and the food was pretty good, except the flank steak was a little tough. The big draw is the pricing. As Paris dining goes, this was on the lower end of the spectrum.

10/10 experience! Everything was exceptional. The foie gras was incredibly buttery, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious—no off-putting smell at all. We tried the Wednesday special, and the ribs were perfectly cooked: tender, flavorful, and savory. I’d absolutely love to come back!
