We had a wonderful experience at Thoumieux on September 15th. The atmosphere was chic and very Parisian, perfect for a special evening.
The service was attentive and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout the night. The food was beautifully presented and delicious – each course felt refined and well-balanced. We especially appreciated the details and the care taken to create a memorable dining experience.
It was a perfect choice for celebrating a birthday in Paris. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special!
We would definitely recommend Thoumieux to anyone looking for a stylish, authentic Parisian dining experience.

The restaurant's taste, atmosphere was great. We truly like very much the terrace gets closed around 23:00 to respect the residences' upstairs. I wish it was like that in my home country. It is 01:00 :) Live music gives the place perfect ambiance. That was what ı was looking for a night out in Paris. Thank you

I recently stayed at the Thoumieux Hotel in Paris, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is stylish, warm, and intimate, with that perfect blend of Parisian charm and modern comfort. Every detail feels carefully thought out, from the chic design of the rooms to the cozy yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel both pampered and at home, not to mention the perfect location in the heart of Paris walkable to so many great restaurants and cafes.
I have to give a special mention to Jennifer, who went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable. Jennifer exemplifies what true hospitality should be: personal, attentive, and delivered with genuine kindness. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience, and I truly believe she elevates the entire hotel. Jennifer became a friend of mine instantly because she is one of these people that you want to keep present in your life!!
Thank you for the whole team! I will refuse to stay in a different hotel from now on except Thoumieux!
Also let’s not forget to mention Obu the gorgeous resident cat who makes sure things are going well 🤗🤗

This is the best meal I’ve had in Paris! The food quality was superb. The offerings were simple but on point. Vegetarian and fish options were not an afterthought. They were perfect. Beautiful presentation, and best of all, the service! What more could I ask for? I will be back next time. I am in Paris.
An additional note. This restaurant is one block away from a busy corner and gives you a calm atmosphere of a quieter environment just one block away from the bustling city.

Indulged in a solo dining experience at a charming French restaurant after a long voyage and day of meetings. Started with a lovely glass of Chablis which suited the entire menu well. The foie gras, presented in substantial proportions alongside thoughtfully paired pickled and fresh vegetables, was great (I was craving fois gras). Then I had the duck, which came with a deep sauce and wonderfully cooked French vegetables, the kind you’re hoping for when visiting France. Finally the chocolate moulleux cake, with fresh ice cream which was as delicious as you’d expect after the quality of the first two courses. I sheepishly finished nearly every bite of every dish. Merci to the staff for their kind and attentive service. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful lunch at Auberge Bressane. The meal was delicious and the servers were delightful! They sang the happy birthday song to my husband (I didn’t ask but they caught on somehow), and obliged me when I asked if they would mind singing it in French too. Barbara made it so special and fun! We very much enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back! (Will try to post video of singing but not sure I’ll be successful.)

We always end up eating here at least once during any Paris visit. The quality of seasonal dishes and corresponding ingredients is just heaven. The frog legs here are my favorite in the entire city.
The wine selection is solid and the staff are happy to recommend a pairing or two for your meal. Champagne was great and so were the dishes: pigeon, veal, crab salad are some that we enjoyed! Recommended.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we were treated like kings and queens. The dishes were all superb with flavors that will leave a lasting impression. We cannot wait to return the next time we are in Paris. Goodbye for now. ❤️

A wonderful prototypical French restaurant with excellent classic French cuisine. The escargot were amazing. The portions are very generous. The wine list was excellent and large. The dessert soufflés that we shared were delicious. One minor complaint was that after we got our check, it took 20 minutes to flag someone down to pay. But everything else was perfect!

Fantastic meal. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly, and helpful with the menu and wine selections. Food was fantastic. We started with artichokes and escargo. Had the veal and beef for the main. Finished with souffle. Every dish was great. Enjoyed it so much we booked again to return with friends. Would highly recommend.

Chez Françoise is a true Parisian treasure — a place where every detail feels intentional, warm, and full of heart. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a timeless charm: elegant décor, fresh flowers at every table, and a cozy atmosphere that’s as welcoming as it is refined.
The food? Absolutely exquisite. Every dish is not only delicious but presented like a work of art — beautifully plated, with vibrant colors and thoughtful touches that elevate the entire dining experience. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft.
It’s also easy to see why so many locals love this place. It’s not just about the food — it’s the sense of community, the familiar faces, the feeling of being part of something special.
With gracious, heartfelt service and an ambiance that soothes the soul, Chez Françoise deserves far more than five stars.

A true neighborhood hidden gem recommended by the hotel we stayed. The food was classic, heartwarming French dishes, but it’s the staff that really made this place special. Laurent, the manager, was so friendly and funny, and the Pascal, the chef busy cooking in the kitchen, created some really delicious treats. The complimentary homemade potato chips with the homemade aioli impressed us immediately after we sat down. Then came the duck confit and stuffed cabbage as well as the fried risotto balls served on a bed of Swiss chard, all incredibly tasty, although a bit too salty for our liking. The highlight of the meal was the lemon soufflé, which was one of the best we have ever had and will never forget. It was a great dining experience, perhaps one of the best in Paris. We hope to come back again soon, as we feel we are already friends with Laurent and his staff by now.

We found this place on google with high reviews, we walked in without a reservation about 7:20pm. As soon as we walked in the staff was so nice and accommodating. There were several reserved tables but we lucked out and got a table immediately. The food was amazing and flavorful, unlike another restaurant we tried a day earlier. The service was fantastic and so friendly. If I was a local, I would come here all the time.

This was our first meal in Paris, recommended by the hotel staff. We really enjoyed the foie gras, but found the duck a bit too salty for our taste. Overall, the experience was good, and the service was very pleasant.

When I come to Paris duck confit is a must. It certainly didn’t disappoint here. It was tender and delicious with the perfect crust on the skin. They have an excellent selection of wine and the wait staff was up to par. We had 11 in our party and they were willing to accommodate us on some pretty short notice. I will definitely be back here again.

I had been wanting to have duck since arriving in Paris but hadn’t had a chance to - I’m so glad I waited until here because it was incredible. I was lucky enough to try both types of their duck and they were both heavenly. Dare I say this was my favorite dinner so far in Paris, and I’ve had great dinners. The cocktails were very delicious. Our server was so fun and friendly, I wish we didn’t have a place to go after because we would have wanted to try the dessert.

What an awesome place after a wonderful day. Touring Paris. The French onion soup was seriously the best ever! We had the crispy goat cheese and oh my gosh I have to learn how to makes that. Wrapped in some phyllo dough. Little bit of Honey on top of it. Yummy. We topped it off with a nice burger And some Irish coffees.
Great service.

If you want to enjoy quality food, you shouldn't visit this place.
To be precise, everything is based on the view of the Eiffel Tower. This is the most crucial perk of dining in this restaurant.
You will not enjoy your food because you will be sitting among people who come mainly to take pictures of themselves with the view. To sum up, it is not worth your money to dine here! (I should also mention the positive side of polite waiters.)
P.S. The food is also tasteless and lacks substantial flavour. (I tasted pasta and lasagna.)

Hidden treasure not far from Eiffel Tower.
We wanted a break from classic French food and soo happy we stopped in.
Beautiful ambience, friendly servers and delicious food made for a truly delightful and memorable dinner in Paris.
Everything was freshly made and served hot (spicy & temperature).
Appears to be a favorite spot of locals, staff knew many of the otherdiners by name.
Staff were attentive so they made us feel like we were regulars.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different from the French classics

Great ambiance, friendly staff. Spoke English, were very polite. My two year old was with us and they were very sweet to him. There were no high chairs so if your child is used to eating on high chairs, this maybe an issue. My son sits with us on regular dining chairs so we had no issues with adapting. Flavors were good. I had the steamed fish which I hindsight o wish i didn't. It just was not the kind of thai food I enjoy and I love Thai food. Serving sizes for the Price were too small and that's the only reason for my 4 star rating but I guess prices are reflective of the up scale feel they are going for.
Tom yum Soup was yummy, the crispy shrimp dumplings were really tasty even my son ate it.

Walk in to another local place as we walked by. We were seated quickly. They spoke to us in Spanish and English. Our host Anthony was really great. The chicken and ceviche were pretty great. The only slight down side was from my wife who had the prawn salad with our 5 small pieces of shrimp. Otherwise, it was a pretty good dinner. Thank you, Anthony.

We stopped by by chance, but unfortunately it wasn’t a good choice for breakfast. The service was slow and confused, the cappuccino was maybe 5/10, the pancakes were served cold, and they had run out of honey. The fruit was just symbolic — for us, that’s a 2/10. French toast with ice cream doesn’t really suit breakfast, but fair enough, it tasted okay — maybe a 6/10. We probably won’t come back here again, sorry :(

Awesome location close to the Eiffel Tower, and the staff were great, but otherwise we weren’t impressed. While the side of ratatouille was fantastic, the French onion soup was far from the best we’ve had, and the salmon was OK (the chimichurri sauce helped a ton).

After visiting the Musée de l’Armée with my son, we were absolutely starving, we had skipped breakfast and were hoping to find something nearby. We first tried another café, but they had just stopped serving breakfast (literally two minutes after 11:00) and didn’t seem too eager to help.
Then we walked into Le Petit Cler, and the difference was night and day. We were greeted right away by a warm, friendly man who seated us with a smile. The whole vibe was calm, welcoming, and just what we needed.
We ordered from their full breakfast menu: my son had scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, fresh juice, and a chocolate croissant. I chose a mushroom omelette with cheese and a latte. The food was tasty, the portions generous, and the experience left us both happy and full.
A truly pleasant place where hospitality still means something. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast in Paris.

I was walking down the street reading reviews of different places to have dinner after 9 p.m., and I came across some great feedback about Le Petite Cler. The waiter recommended trying the snails and duck. If you’re looking for authentic, homemade French flavors — this is the place to go! A delicate crème brûlée was a lovely way to end the evening in Paris.

Such a wonderful team! They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The food was authentic French cuisine—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. They accommodated all our requests with kindness and patience, and even the grumpiest in our group left happy, full, and smiling. Truly a delightful experience!
I truly recommend the steak tart, French onion soup and the snails.

a perfect restaurant for people watching and taking yourself for a solo date — which is exactly what i did. it’s not a large restaurant so the seating area outside felt intimate and cozy. i sat at a corner in the second row and i could easily people watch but not feel so close to the street itself. they have a pretty extensive menu so it can feel a bit overwhelming figuring out what to order but i saw online that their beef bourguignon was popular and heard the waiters saying the same thing so i tried that. there was so much beef. i’m happy to say they don’t skimp on the beef and the flavor was great and it paired well with the pasta.
