5 Star Rating This hotel was perfect for a week in Paris. Very conveniently located but not too busy. There are lots of shops, restaurants and transportation nearby. It's a very short walk to the Eiffel Tower, and easy access to all the other major attractions. The hotel itself was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room had a very spacious bathroom, nice comfortable bed, coffee and tea, and free water bottles upon arrival. One of the best things about this hotel is there is a resident cat who is so cute and friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us with any questions or advice about our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

5 Star Rating Stayed here again… and it just feels more mine every time 🤍 This place feels less like a hotel and more like your very chic Parisian home ! The team is incredibly warm and genuinely caring. Special thank you to Jennifer, who makes everything feel effortless and personal. Breakfast is dangerously good (you’ll start planning your mornings around it), and the location is just perfect. A quiet, beautiful street with local boutiques, cafés, salons, and everything you need, plus Rue Cler market just steps away. You walk out of the hotel and there it is: the Eiffel Tower, right in front of you, like it’s part of your everyday. A dreamy 7-minute stroll to Avenue Montaigne, which somehow always turns into a moment, not just a walk. Also… Ubu, the resident cat, is an absolute icon 🐾 He adds such a special charm and an extra dose of cuteness to the whole place. Not my first stay, definitely not my last ✨

5 Star Rating Home away from home in Paris for the last 15(?) years. I tend to stay here a couple of times a year, at times with the family. This time lucky enough to be with my gorgeous son. The process from initial reservation to the departure, fabulous each step of the way, THANKS to Jennifer, Whitney and Maria. Breakfasts delicious, rooms fun and each different from the other. Prestige room is the largest and has the most privacy. I reserve that room well in advance and when available. Having said this the other rooms, especially the second largest one (DeLux?) is really good as well. The brasserie downstairs has delicious meals and delightful staff as well. Already looking forward to my next trip.

5 Star Rating My husband and I tried this place for dinner and so glad we did! Adeline greeted us at the door and accommodated us even though I had messed up our reservation! She was so friendly and kind. The restaurant is so quaint and all the servers were cheerful, kind, and on top of everything. The food is the best we have had our entire trip or our trips here before! We did not get an appetizer but immediately ordered the souffle trio for dessert. I got the Chateaubriand with Bearnaise sauce, and my husband got the chicken in cream sauce. Both were so good and my filet was so tender it melted in my mouth. They have an extensive wine selection as well. The souffles are so amazing! The portions were plentiful and we were stuffed upon leaving! The prices are very fair for the quality of the food and dishes. This place was packed for good reason so book your reservation quickly! The servers all seemed to work together seemlessly and stay on top of your needs. We would highly recommend and will be back on our next trip!

3 Star Rating The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was exquisite. Best mashed potatoes we have ever had. Service, however detracted from the experience. It took 20 min before a waiter stopped by. After dinner after waiting 15 min, we had to flag down a waiter to ask about our dessert soufflé. He acted like he had no idea we had an order. But it did come 5 min later.

5 Star Rating Incredible experience overall, four stars for the food itself. Excellent versions of classic dishes like soufflé and coq au vin. Also tried the royal hare which is a dish that dates back to Louis XIV and is extremely rich and gamey – it wasn’t for me but we were all glad to have tried it. Dessert was the soufflé trio, they were ok but the classic soufflé was definitely the best one. Ambience was just incredible, I felt like I was in a modern medieval tavern. Service was pretty slow, just getting our orders in and some water took almost half an hour. I love the napkins so much that I bought one from the restaurant at the end of our meal – one of my favorite souvenirs of the entire trip!

5 Star Rating Chez Françoise is a true Parisian treasure — a place where every detail feels intentional, warm, and full of heart. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a timeless charm: elegant décor, fresh flowers at every table, and a cozy atmosphere that’s as welcoming as it is refined. The food? Absolutely exquisite. Every dish is not only delicious but presented like a work of art — beautifully plated, with vibrant colors and thoughtful touches that elevate the entire dining experience. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft. It’s also easy to see why so many locals love this place. It’s not just about the food — it’s the sense of community, the familiar faces, the feeling of being part of something special. With gracious, heartfelt service and an ambiance that soothes the soul, Chez Françoise deserves far more than five stars.

5 Star Rating A traditional restaurant in the heart of Paris, renowned for being frequented by political figures and celebrities. You can sense the old charm in the excellent, typically French service, the classic dishes and the typical Parisian décor. The food was perfect and you can tell that they have been cooking here for a long time. The wine selection was excellent. I recommend visiting as a couple or in small groups. For larger groups, there are separate areas that are suitable for business dinners, for example.

4 Star Rating I randomly chose CAFÉ DE L'ESPLANADE (CDLE) for dinner on our last evening in Paris. We had tickets for Aura Les Invalide and wanted something special but close to the venue. Sometimes we luck out! CDLE was perfect! The service was professional, warm, patient and so kind. We had ceviche and chicken egg rolls as appetizers with shrimp and steak as our main course and each item was delicious and beautifully presented. I had one of the best (and generously poured) dirty martinis I’ve ever had. It was something like 24€ but worth it. We topped it off with an unbelievable strawberry gelato with cookie that tasted like eating a ripe summer strawberry. We enjoyed our evening all around and our experience at CDLE was a huge part of it.

5 Star Rating My absolute favorite neighborhood gem! 🍷🕯️🍲 As a local living just around the corner in the 7th arrondissement, I have my pick of incredible dining spots, but Café de l'Esplanade remains my absolute favorite. I dine here quite regularly, and the kitchen and staff are consistently excellent - this isn't just a lucky, one-off good experience; it's a guaranteed fantastic night out every single time. I dropped by for a cozy, late-night dinner this evening, looking for something comforting. I ordered the classic French Onion Soup, and it was flawlessly executed - a rich, deeply flavorful broth nestled under a perfectly gratinated, bubbling layer of cheese. It paired beautifully with a crisp glass of white wine, resting right next to the candle on my table. Yes, the menu commands a premium price, but it is a highly justified splurge for the overall quality and the experience you get. My table had this gorgeous, dim, romantic lighting with a flickering candle, classic Parisian brasserie decor, and plush velvet seating that makes you want to linger all evening. The logistics are seamless too; sitting right near the terrace gives you an unbeatable view of the Invalides, and having a valet option makes arriving completely effortless. The staff delivers impeccable, classic Parisian service - elegant, fast, and warmly attentive without being overbearing. It’s also a known hotspot for a highly fashionable crowd; the energy is alluring and exclusive, and you truly never know who you might spot dining at the next table over. If you are searching for the best Parisian brasserie in the 7th arr. or planning a romantic dinner near Invalides, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We felt immediately welcomed by the team, who looked after us superbly from the minute we arrived, to the minute we left. 3 Star Rating Came here late at night. Around 11 PM. My company wanted a crepe and I was looking for seafood. They made a good crêpe and I got some prawny prawns. They came on ice. With a nice mustard sauce. I had no idea how to peel the guys but I managed to eat all six of them. Would definitely consider the prawns again if I was in Paris again. I was annoyed by the fact that they put a table with tip suggestions on the table at the end. Anyone past high school can divide by 10 or by 5. I don't need assistance on any of this. Still tipped a bit though but I may have tipped more if they asked with a different attitude.

4 Star Rating A must visit. I would have given 5 stars for the taste and quality of the food as they were fantastic. However the portions were very small. The smallest rice or main dish we ever had were served here. We left hungry which was not great. But the service was very good as the people were very nice. And seems like it is also popular amongst the politicians as we have seen a few big name politicians of the French system eating there. I sincerely hope that they are fed enough for the sake of French people 😂😂😂😜😜😜.

4 Star Rating I had a really good experience here overall. The service was decent and about what I expected, nothing over the top but perfectly fine and it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The food was very fresh across the board and thoughtfully prepared. We ordered the Duck Foie Gras, Escargot, French Onion Soup, and Beef Carpaccio. The carpaccio stood out for how fresh and clean it tasted. The French onion soup was a bit on the milder side, but it had a natural, less processed flavor compared to what I’m used to in the U.S., which I appreciated. The escargot was also very fresh, and the sauce in each shell complemented it really well. The highlight for me was the Duck Foie Gras. It had a rich, slightly fermented, salty and creamy flavor that was incredibly enjoyable and well balanced. Overall, the flavors here lean more subtle, which may not fully match my Asian palate, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients really shine through. It’s a fantastic spot, and I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Paris.

3 Star Rating Lovely place to sit and people watch. I didn’t love the food but I was very hungry so it did the job. Ordered croque monsieur and tarte tatin for dessert. Immediately given tap water upon arrival which I really enjoyed.

5 Star Rating Amiable, charming place with great service and good food on the remarkable Rue Cher, which you should stroll down at least once in life. There were six of us, an awkward number, but they quickly moved tables so we would fit happily. We arrived at 6:30 to find that Happy Hour lasted another 30 minutes. Order your wine quickly, we were told. We’ll pour a double glass. It was huge. We had the cod, beautifully prepared, a croque monsieur, a croque madame, and pasta. All good.

4 Star Rating The food was tasty and the service was good. Though the Croque Madame is supposed to be served a bit different. The food was served quite fast. You should eat the mascarpone on top of the Applepie - really tasty.

5 Star Rating I live nearby, and Le Roussillon is easily my go-to after work. It stands out from the overpriced, crowded spots near the Eiffel Tower. This place feels real, relaxed, and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect to unwind. When the windows are open, the terrace is ideal to sit, have a drink, and watch people pass by near Rue Cler. It is also great if you are alone. I often come solo, never feel rushed, and always feel comfortable. The staff is excellent and even remembers my usual order. The value is hard to beat for this area. Happy Hour drinks are very well priced. For food, the steak frites is a safe bet every time. The meat is tender and the fries are crisp. Tip: come around 17:30 to get a good outdoor table before it gets busy. Also check the daily specials, they are usually worth it. If you want a reliable, relaxed place with good food, fair prices, and great service, you can go without hesitation. This is a true neighborhood spot I keep coming back to.

4 Star Rating Just had a late lunch here. Got a table for 6 immediately. Eleven year old was very happy with her kids meal (buttered noodles, kool-aid-ish sugary water, and a creamsicle). The burger was good and juicy with an amazing bun, Beef Bouguignon was tender but lacking in wine flavor, and the shrimp tempura were tasty. Cost just under 100 euro for all 6 of us.

5 Star Rating A Lovely Lunch at Le Roussilon on Rue Cler While exploring the charming Rue Cler, one of Paris’s most delightful pedestrianized market streets, filled with fromageries, boulangeries, fruit vendors, and cafés, we stumbled upon Le Roussilon and decided to stop for lunch based on the good reviews we saw from others on Google Maps. They had seats available, and we chose a table that opened right onto the pavement, perfect for soaking in the lively atmosphere of Rue Cler. The service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The menu offered a very nice variety of options, and we decided on the Steak Tartare (Tartare de Bœuf) with French fries, Bœuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes, and shared an Île Flottante (floating island) for dessert. Each dish was well-prepared and delicious, the tartare fresh and flavorful, the boeuf bourguignon rich and hearty, and the dessert a light, sweet finish. Le Roussilon also has a good selection of drinks, including draft and bottled beers, wine, and other beverages. We enjoyed a crisp white wine with our meal, which paired perfectly with the food. Overall, it was a wonderful afternoon spent relaxing over lunch in a beautiful Parisian setting. We’ll definitely return to Le Roussilon the next time we visit Rue Cler.

5 Star Rating We had a such a good time here on a busy Saturday night (during the paralympics!) We were seated right away by a cheery staff member, soaked up the busy yet relaxed atmosphere, and then the servers had the good grace to humour our butchered French while we ordered some amazing onion soup and mains. The whole place had a really genuine feel and really made our evening.

5 Star Rating This was the best dinner we've ever had in Europe! We loved the snails so much we even ordered them twice. The cote de boeuf and beef bourguignon were to die for. And to top it all off, Ms. Melanie, the nicest lady in Paris, was absolutely incredible.
