I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Relais Saint-Germain and can highly recommend it. Special thanks to Gilles, a true professional. I had an urgent question and sent an email late at night, and I received a prompt and helpful response with a solution. The room was spacious, clean, warm, and beautifully decorated in an authentic Parisian style, with a bathtub and a lovely view from the window. It was very quiet and comfortable, and I slept perfectly. The breakfast was delicious and could be ordered to the room. Overall, an excellent experience - 5 out of 5

We have been staying in this lovely boutique hotel every year since 2021. Just visited this month with family and booked 3 rooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly, Mariam, Oliver, Nila, Anna, Giles, Vikesh, Patric. Great crew. Fantastic location and supported by 3 eateries below. Hopefully the collaboration with the eateries will continue with the new ownership. Only issue that developed in this visit is the early morning utility truck noise which permeated through the window double glass sound proofing. Other than that, love this hotel and will keep coming back.

Loved our stay here! Our room (Superior room) had plenty of space, especially by Paris standards - bathroom was also very large. The service was excellent (I'm not sure why people are bothered by leaving the room key at the front desk - it actually was kind of nice knowing I didn't have to dig through my purse looking for it, or worry about losing it while out in the city). But the best thing about it was the location! Walking distance to so many Paris attractions, and a great neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and shopping right outside our door. We were in Paris with several couples, all staying in different neighborhoods, and we always ended up by our hotel each night due to all the amazing choices! Will definitely stay here again if I return to Paris!

Rooms face a very busy road and many restaurants that have outdoor eating and drinking. Noise levels increase later in the evening, despite having good windows, yelling and laughing late into the evening. Occurs every night of the week. Breakfast is meager and very little variety. Front desk staff not extremely welcoming or friendly. The hotel is clean. Bathroom has no place to put your toiletries. Would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

Overall a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean, and smell good. Air condition works well. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The shower might be a bit uncomfortable for tall individuals and for those where accessibility might be an issue. One minor inconvenience for us was having to drop off and pickup the room key at the front desk every time you left and came back to the hotel. The elevator is extremely small with capacity for barely two people. A big plus was the location, and Nila, at the front desk, who was very pleasant, accommodating and very attentive to our needs. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious especialy the Ravioli Duphine beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. The staff made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. We were really excited to try food at the oldest restaurant in Paris but booking was quite a challenge and the only available option we got was a lunch. Unfortunately, even with the booking one has to wait in a crowd for about 10-15 minutes. I guess the demand is very high so they are overbooked during peak hours but it ruins impression. The interior is beautiful and if you value history you would enjoy it, although when it gets packed it might be more difficult to enjoy. Since we were there during the lunch time, we took the lunch menu (26 euros for a starter + a main dish) which is a great value. Our waiter asked how we would like to have our drinks, together with food or separately and then brought it separately anyways. In one of the appetizers (a duck terrain) they didn't remove plastic package. The waiter just apologized for that but didn't offer any feasible solution. The food tasted alright. It's not bad but it's not great. Yes, the value is really good and if you want to eat in a restaurant with 300 years of history, it's definitely worth it. However if you want to enjoy a delicious meal without crowds and buzz, maybe consider other options. I didn't find any reviews mentioning these downsides so I hope it might be useful for someone.

Excellent spot for dinner. It gets very busy and seems like a tourist trap but actually it was wonderful. This was recommended to us by some locals. We hadn’t booked but after a quick 10 min drink at the bar, we were promptly seated. The decor was stunning and I loved the history of this place. Finally tried the snails. The mains were divine and full of flavour. And we really didn’t need dessert but could resist. Would recommend!

With the understanding it's tough to get a bad meal in Paris, what Le Procope offers is exceptional. Even though we arrived early for our reservation, we were seated right away. The waitstaff are clearly held to a very high standard, and they meet it smoothly and efficiently. And the food? Beyond words. The soups were comfort food scaled up. The scallops were perfectly pan seared, and nestled in a bed of creamy, luscious, exactly al dente parmesan risotto. The floating island for dessert was airy and light, with a beautiful caramel drizzle and a bright crunch from pink pralines. If you have an evening to spend in Paris, dinner at Le Procope is an excellent way to spend your time!

Went here the other night, I really believe the bad reviews are just one offs (slightly sensitive people). The ambiance is spectacular, live piano music really sets a nice tone. The food was really good, portions are perfekt size and drinks are well made. Staff friendly and attentive. Only tiny thing is that you should make it clear that the little starter biscuits are not on the house as it can cause some confusion for customers. Overall wonderful experience 💫

The food here is delicious. I had the truffle fettuccine and my husband had the breaded veal. Out of this world!!! We started with the Arancini and it was heavenly as well. The wine really hit the spot also. The vibe and ambiance of this place is so beautiful. It’s such a romantic aesthetic with the live piano. Looks just like the pictures!

Recently visited Paris and happened to run into this wonderful restaurant nearby our hotel. We had no reservation yet they were able to accommodate our party of 4. The food was absolutely incredible. The ambiance with the live piano music was perfect and very inviting. The pasta tasted homemade and it arrived at our table hot and incredibly tasty. Our server, Gabriella, was amazing. Very professional and accommodating to all our request. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

I found this cozy place when I was wondering in the neighborhood. I liked the vibe inside. You need to order your food in the front and take your tray upstairs to eat. I ordered roasted beef sandwich. The bread was perfect. It was freshly baked and crunchy. The beef and other ingredients were ok (that’s why I gave 4 for the food)

In a city full of some of the best restaurants and bakeries in the world, this was among one of my best culinary experiences in Paris to date. Their bread is delicious and their selection of salads was covetable - I wish there was some more places like this in London. A simple concept but so, so well executed.

Perfect healthy lunch stop for delicious, fresh food and beautiful music. Big fan of this concept and sure to come back. My “everything but” salad with roasted vegetables hit the spot perfectly and tuned me up for my afternoon - all for €12, couldn’t ask for more. Bravo

Delicious hot fresh foccacia sandwiches. I love all the options they have; so this will suit anyone. You can see the bread being baked fresh. And then again after they put in the toppings. I went with the Stonker; which is fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, arugula and olive oil. I made them add balsamic as well which made it even better. €9 is a steal for such a big sandwich. Order first and then lots of place to sit and eat upstairs. Must visit in Paris.

Cosi (left bank Paris) is one of my favorite sandwich shops. The roast beef “cheesy English” with fresh bread is my go-to selection! But the rest of their menu is equally delicious! There is a wonderful dining hall upstairs if you want to relax while dining in, or if preferred, to-go options are handled expeditiously! In fact, their sandwiches are perfect for travelers! Highly recommend!

Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is an absolute 5 star experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and impressively efficient despite how busy it was. There was a lively atmosphere and the place was packed, but everything ran smoothly and the service still felt personal. The food was excellent. The salad starter was fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced, and the steak was cooked exactly how we asked. The meat was tender, full of flavour, and the sauce is honestly the kind you keep thinking about after you leave. The fries were also spot on, hot, crispy, and kept coming. To finish, the profiteroles were outstanding, light pastry, generous chocolate sauce, and just the right level of sweetness. The crème brûlée was also fantastic with a proper crackly top and creamy centre. Great quality throughout, great value for what you get, and definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend if you are in Paris and want a classic, delicious meal with a brilliant atmosphere. Must try!

the famous steak frites! my friends and i went on a wednesday, around 830 and were seated about an hour later. the wait in line was fine, but we were disappointed to wait a bit longer for our food, especially considering they serve one menu. service was quicker for the second serving around, and our dessert was quick as well. the food was delicious and the profiteroles were to die for! i think the food amount varied a bit, but i was happy for the price.

If you’re willing to wait in line, it’s absolutely worth going. If you’re in Paris, you really should come here at least once. The standard menu includes fries, salad, and their Paris sauce steak, followed by dessert. It’s not a place to sit for hours chatting, as there’s usually a long queue outside, but the food makes it worthwhile. Everything is delicious, and I never leave Paris without stopping by. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely a must try spot before leaving the city. Prices are reasonable: you pay a standard per person menu, with dessert and drinks added separately. Come hungry 🤤you’ll leave very full.

Iconic steak frites — simple menu, standout sauce Le Relais de l’Entrecôte opens at 12 noon, and it’s already queueing by then. We arrived early around 11:30, and there was already a line — clearly a very popular spot. They keep things extremely simple: they only serve steak frites. When you’re seated, the only thing they ask is how you want your steak cooked. That’s it. The real highlight is their signature sauce — unique, rich, and absolutely the reason people keep coming back. I really loved it. Efficient, no-frills, and iconic for a reason. Definitely worth trying at least once.

Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is one of those Parisian rites of passage where you don’t book a table, you earn it. You queue. You wait. You people-watch. You start questioning your life choices. Then suddenly, you’re inside and it all makes sense. The interior is classic Paris bistro bingo: old-school, no-nonsense, charming in a “we’ve been doing this forever, don’t touch anything” kind of way. Service is fair, efficient, and laser-focused, because there’s exactly one thing to eat: steak-frites. No menu drama, no decision fatigue. Meat or… meat. The famous sauce? Honestly, the real star of the show. Rich, addictive, and doing most of the heavy lifting here. The steak itself is… fine. Nothing to write home about, nothing to cry over either. The fries, unfortunately, arrive a bit overcooked, crunchy taken just a step too far, like they stayed in the fryer while the sauce stole the spotlight. Desserts, though? Solid. Reliable. Comforting. The kind that makes you forgive everything that came before and leave happy anyway. So yes, you’ll queue, you’ll eat steak-frites, you’ll love the sauce, you’ll raise an eyebrow at the fries, and you’ll probably say, “Worth it” as you walk back into the Paris streets. And somehow, that’s exactly why this place remains iconic!

service très très bien, buffet et cadre en dessous de nos attentes. Nous avons déjà brunché dans plusieurs 5 étoiles et celui ci est en dessous des autres où tout au moins de certains. Néanmoins, le tarif de 70€/personne est en dessous des tarifs pratiqués dans les autres 5 étoiles et du coup le rapport qualité reste correct. Nous avons également profité de massages au sein de l’hôtel et si les pièces de massage sont très exiguës mais les masseuses sont très professionnelles et les massages sont parfaits.

We were only in Paris for a week, but my wife and I decided to try every single restaurants onion soup and they were the best. All the food we had here was great but, I'll remember that soup. Not to forget to mention they had the most custardy and decadent creme brulee we had while in France, no where else compared. I'd go back here again for those two dishes alone. The pork I had was fantastic and had loads of garlic which I love, my wife had a delicious pasta with pesto.We ate on the second floor in lush red chairs in a quiet comfortable setting that was only a short walk from our hotel. Was fantastic.

I went on my very first day in Paris without a reservation, and despite that, they immediately helped me and found me a table. Since I had just arrived after a long journey, I didn’t want to eat anything too heavy. I asked for vegetarian options, and the waiter recommended the classic French onion soup and a curry main course. The onion soup was truly delicious. The presentation was beautiful and the aroma was perfectly balanced. However, it tasted a bit too intense and broth-heavy for me. When I mentioned to the waiter that the soup wasn’t actually vegetarian since it contained beef broth, he replied, “That’s how French onion soup is made.” 😊 The curry main course, on the other hand, was excellent. The balance of flavors was very well executed. The rice served on the side was so hot that I burned my mouth — perhaps it could be rested slightly before serving. The atmosphere of the place is very impressive. It’s quite busy and full of energy. It seems to be especially popular among Parisian locals, with a slightly older crowd that is nevertheless incredibly lively. There is a constant flow of people, giving the place a vibrant, social, and truly “real Paris” feeling. The staff were very kind, attentive, and professional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the Saint-Germain spirit, enjoy a local brasserie experience, and dine in a high-quality atmosphere.

We attended a business dinner with a valued customer. The restaurant boasts exquisite decor and exudes an inviting and lively atmosphere. The service was exceptionally professional and amiable. Regrettably, the food did not meet my expectations. While it was presented professionally and had an appealing appearance, the taste was lacking. The onion soup was bland and lacked the rich, caramelised flavour that is essential for this dish. The “French Duck Confit Parmentier, Full-bodied Jus, Small Fresh Herb Salad” was overcooked and somewhat dry, as if it had been reheated multiple times. On the positive side, my dessert, a “Fig Shortbread, Mascarpone Cream,” was excellent and met the standards I expect from a French restaurant.

This place is an homage to the publishing houses in the neighborhood and the bistros of yesteryear. The food is phenomenal, the wine selection decent, the atmosphere exactly what you'd expect, and the staff is friendly, fast, and attentive. We would have patronized more during our 2-day stay in the neighborhood, but they tend to be chock full on weekend evenings so reservations are recommended. We'll be back on our next visit, à bientôt!

This was one of my favourite restaurants during my Paris trip. The interior is stunning, open, airy and inviting filled with plants. It’s a French fusion restaurant with touches of Asian and Japanese flavours. Reservations are a must here as it’s a very busy restaurant especially during nights. The service is impeccable honestly one of the best we’ve experience in Paris. The waiter is very attentive, friendly and overall makes you feel like you’re lifelong friends. We had a party of 4 and ordered quite a few dishes to try out. The salmon dishes were all amazing, fish was fresh and of quality. Two of my favourite was definitely the poke bowl and scallops. Every dish has dynamic flavouring, however the only one that was lacklustre was the dish. We felt it was a little bland and lacking in complexity. The desserts were all amazing as well, not too sweet and the perfect ending. I’d definitely recommend this place!

This place is a rare pearl (literally) in Paris. Good is really good, the place is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. The only BUT is that they only have one vegan/vegetarian option and is not WOW! Is good tho but not at the same level as the other dishes. The love night party is fun, unique and charming! Super recommended!

Great experience! The atmosphere is mostly cozy, though occasionally marred by loud music and wait times during busy hours. Don’t forget to book before. While the food presentation and taste are commendable, it is a bit pricey (around €80-100 per person). But worth a visit for a distinct Parisian experience!
