Loved our stay here! Our room (Superior room) had plenty of space, especially by Paris standards - bathroom was also very large. The service was excellent (I'm not sure why people are bothered by leaving the room key at the front desk - it actually was kind of nice knowing I didn't have to dig through my purse looking for it, or worry about losing it while out in the city). But the best thing about it was the location! Walking distance to so many Paris attractions, and a great neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and shopping right outside our door. We were in Paris with several couples, all staying in different neighborhoods, and we always ended up by our hotel each night due to all the amazing choices! Will definitely stay here again if I return to Paris!

Rooms face a very busy road and many restaurants that have outdoor eating and drinking. Noise levels increase later in the evening, despite having good windows, yelling and laughing late into the evening. Occurs every night of the week. Breakfast is meager and very little variety. Front desk staff not extremely welcoming or friendly. The hotel is clean. Bathroom has no place to put your toiletries. Would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

Overall a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean, and smell good. Air condition works well. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The shower might be a bit uncomfortable for tall individuals and for those where accessibility might be an issue. One minor inconvenience for us was having to drop off and pickup the room key at the front desk every time you left and came back to the hotel. The elevator is extremely small with capacity for barely two people. A big plus was the location, and Nila, at the front desk, who was very pleasant, accommodating and very attentive to our needs. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Title: Wonderful Stay in an Amazing Location
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating—they even gave us a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.
I don’t agree with some reviews about the lobby being too small—it was a good size with a comfortable waiting area, and the staff was courteous enough to send our luggage up so we didn’t have to carry it ourselves. Yes, the elevator is small (about the size of a cupboard), but it’s functional, and given that it’s a heritage building, this is expected. If you’re claustrophobic, taking the stairs is a good option.
The staff truly made our stay memorable, and the neighborhood was simply amazing. I would love to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you to the hotel team for a wonderful experience!
Everything Skin & Hair by Dr Punit Saraogi - 10 months ago
Staying at this hotel for one night was an interesting experience. While the room was spacious by Parisian standards, the tiny toilet, uncomfortable shower, and very narrow corridors made our stay less comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast area was quite small, and the staff did not seem particularly welcoming.
The decoration was distinctly Parisian, which added a charming touch, but the busyness of the room’s design might feel overwhelming for those seeking to relax after a hectic day. However, the best aspects were the excellent location, which was convenient and easily accessible, and the comfortable bed, which ensured a good night’s sleep.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Le Procope, and as two history lovers, this place felt almost unreal. Dining in the same space once frequented by Napoleon, Marat, Chopin, and Voltaire ( and visited by Benjamin Franklin!) is an experience in itself, equal parts dinner and time travel. Walking around the restaurant, admiring the historical artifacts, was genuinely thrilling.
We leaned into the spirit of the place and ordered what’s advertised as the revolutionaries’ favorite champagne: the 2016 Champagne Jacquart Blanc de Blancs - absolutely delicious and perfectly celebratory. For starters, we had the classic onion soup and a soft-boiled egg with mushrooms, both light, comforting, and beautifully done.
For mains, I chose the Revolutionaries’ Beef Tenderloin, while my husband went with the Angus Beef Steak. Both were flavorful and satisfying, served with excellent sides-au gratin potatoes for me and French fries for him. Dessert sealed the deal: artisan ice cream and pavlova, light and indulgent in the best way.
The service truly elevated the evening. A special shout-out to Schuman and Arnold, who made our anniversary feel genuinely special. From the warm welcome at the door (including coat service and a wonderful table by the window) to the friendly goodbye as we left, every staff member was gracious and attentive.
History, great food, wonderful service- Le Procope isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. An unforgettable way to celebrate a milestone.

Le Procope is a true Parisian gem. As the oldest café in Paris, it’s full of history, charm, and a beautiful atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and perfectly crafted.
But what really made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly informative. A special shout-out to Guido Maggiolo, Deputy Director, who went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. His kindness and professionalism truly elevated the experience.
I can’t recommend Le Procope enough. A must-visit in Paris!

It was surreal, yet awesome, to eat in the same place, and eat possibly the same things, Benjamin Franklin did while he drafted the Treaty of Paris, or Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine did while discussing political theory with French locals. It's a living museum in which you can eat.
The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. The food was as phenomenal as the atmosphere.
The French Onion Soup, Filet de Bœuf des Révolutionnaires, and Tiramisu were all excellent. They were all cooked, prepared, and presented in utmost care and craftsmanship.
I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Paris and strongly recommend it to anybody who enjoys history, great food, a calm ambience, or a combination.

A Timeless Parisian Gem – Café Procope
Dining at Le Procope, the oldest café in Paris, is like stepping into history — and what a delicious history it is! The atmosphere is full of charm, with elegant decor that feels straight out of the 18th century. You can almost imagine the philosophers and writers who once sat here debating over coffee.
The food was simply amazing. I had the beef liver with parsley, and it was out of this world — perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully balanced. Every dish my friends ordered was just as impressive: full of taste, depth, and that unmistakable French flair.
The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the whole experience felt both refined and relaxed.
If you’re in Paris and want a true taste of French culinary tradition in a place steeped in culture and history, Le Procope is an absolute must.

The service was super and very attentive. The restaurant offers a wonderfully warm atmosphere, and the food was delicious. They also have a selection of very good wine. A special highlight was the great live piano music, which made the evening truly special. Highly recommended!

Recently visited Paris and happened to run into this wonderful restaurant nearby our hotel. We had no reservation yet they were able to accommodate our party of 4. The food was absolutely incredible. The ambiance with the live piano music was perfect and very inviting. The pasta tasted homemade and it arrived at our table hot and incredibly tasty. Our server, Gabriella, was amazing. Very professional and accommodating to all our request. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

Went here the other night, I really believe the bad reviews are just one offs (slightly sensitive people).
The ambiance is spectacular, live piano music really sets a nice tone. The food was really good, portions are perfekt size and drinks are well made. Staff friendly and attentive.
Only tiny thing is that you should make it clear that the little starter biscuits are not on the house as it can cause some confusion for customers.
Overall wonderful experience 💫

The food here is delicious. I had the truffle fettuccine and my husband had the breaded veal. Out of this world!!! We started with the Arancini and it was heavenly as well. The wine really hit the spot also. The vibe and ambiance of this place is so beautiful. It’s such a romantic aesthetic with the live piano. Looks just like the pictures!

In a city full of some of the best restaurants and bakeries in the world, this was among one of my best culinary experiences in Paris to date. Their bread is delicious and their selection of salads was covetable - I wish there was some more places like this in London. A simple concept but so, so well executed.

Perfect healthy lunch stop for delicious, fresh food and beautiful music. Big fan of this concept and sure to come back.
My “everything but” salad with roasted vegetables hit the spot perfectly and tuned me up for my afternoon - all for €12, couldn’t ask for more. Bravo

Delicious hot fresh foccacia sandwiches.
I love all the options they have; so this will suit anyone.
You can see the bread being baked fresh. And then again after they put in the toppings.
I went with the Stonker; which is fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, arugula and olive oil. I made them add balsamic as well which made it even better.
€9 is a steal for such a big sandwich.
Order first and then lots of place to sit and eat upstairs.
Must visit in Paris.

Great place to have a budget friendly meal. I had the sandwich+drink+dessert combo. It was delicious, fresh, and at a very reasonable price. The only thing I would improve is the choice of drinks, as only a few sodas or water are available. A simple lemonade would have made my meal perfect.

After indulging in the delicious richness of french cooking for the past week both of us were craving something light and healthy. We ordered the "everything but" salad and the "flipper" sandwich and they were exactly what we were looking. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Cost 20 Euros for the two dishes. Staff was friendly, service was quick. 5/5

If you’re willing to wait in line, it’s absolutely worth going. If you’re in Paris, you really should come here at least once.
The standard menu includes fries, salad, and their Paris sauce steak, followed by dessert.
It’s not a place to sit for hours chatting, as there’s usually a long queue outside, but the food makes it worthwhile. Everything is delicious, and I never leave Paris without stopping by. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
It’s definitely a must try spot before leaving the city. Prices are reasonable: you pay a standard per person menu, with dessert and drinks added separately.
Come hungry 🤤you’ll leave very full.

Iconic steak frites — simple menu, standout sauce
Le Relais de l’Entrecôte opens at 12 noon, and it’s already queueing by then. We arrived early around 11:30, and there was already a line — clearly a very popular spot.
They keep things extremely simple: they only serve steak frites. When you’re seated, the only thing they ask is how you want your steak cooked. That’s it. The real highlight is their signature sauce — unique, rich, and absolutely the reason people keep coming back. I really loved it.
Efficient, no-frills, and iconic for a reason. Definitely worth trying at least once.
G A - 2 weeks ago
The line is long, but their steak frites are worth it! The sauce was truly fantastic with so many different flavors mixed in. The second helping of steak and frites was fun. The salad with the horseradish dressing was also really good! For dessert, the profiteroles hit the spot! The thick and small cream puffs with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce were a delicious end to the meal. Our waitress was also very sweet and super friendly.

Very nice experience! I suggest to get there 30 minutes before the opening, we sit in with the first sitting. They were so friendly and serving us quick! I know it’s because of the people waiting outside. We enjoyed our food and you will be back soon. You should also try the desserts there!
Despoina Lewis - a week ago
The food was good, but honestly, nothing spectacular. The queue is insane, minimum 30 minutes up to 2 hours (depending on the time you go). The service is indeed very fast, some of the servers are not very nice, but all things considered, it is a decent spot - clearly overhyped by tourists. Pretty sure you can find better entrecôtes in more intimate restaurants around Paris, as this is the signature dish for any authentic Parisian restaurant.

We attended a business dinner with a valued customer.
The restaurant boasts exquisite decor and exudes an inviting and lively atmosphere.
The service was exceptionally professional and amiable.
Regrettably, the food did not meet my expectations. While it was presented professionally and had an appealing appearance, the taste was lacking. The onion soup was bland and lacked the rich, caramelised flavour that is essential for this dish. The “French Duck Confit Parmentier, Full-bodied Jus, Small Fresh Herb Salad” was overcooked and somewhat dry, as if it had been reheated multiple times.
On the positive side, my dessert, a “Fig Shortbread, Mascarpone Cream,” was excellent and met the standards I expect from a French restaurant.

The whole experience from reception, service and good was more than simply satifiyng. The lunch we had over there was absolutely wonderful and I would advise everyone to go there. Finally, the price ofcourse depends also on the number of bottles of wine you may order, so that is up to yourselves. Just go and enjoy!!!

Visited here twice for dinner and on the first occasion had the beef tartare which was excellent. On the second occasion I had the entrecôte which was awful. Of the 350g, half was fat and gristle. My waiter was excellent and the vibe there is cool with more locals than tourists in attendance. Worthy of another try. Just don’t get the steak.

This was one of my favourite restaurants during my Paris trip. The interior is stunning, open, airy and inviting filled with plants. It’s a French fusion restaurant with touches of Asian and Japanese flavours. Reservations are a must here as it’s a very busy restaurant especially during nights. The service is impeccable honestly one of the best we’ve experience in Paris. The waiter is very attentive, friendly and overall makes you feel like you’re lifelong friends.
We had a party of 4 and ordered quite a few dishes to try out. The salmon dishes were all amazing, fish was fresh and of quality. Two of my favourite was definitely the poke bowl and scallops. Every dish has dynamic flavouring, however the only one that was lacklustre was the dish. We felt it was a little bland and lacking in complexity. The desserts were all amazing as well, not too sweet and the perfect ending. I’d definitely recommend this place!

This place is a rare pearl (literally) in Paris. Good is really good, the place is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. The only BUT is that they only have one vegan/vegetarian option and is not WOW! Is good tho but not at the same level as the other dishes.
The love night party is fun, unique and charming! Super recommended!

Great experience!
The atmosphere is mostly cozy, though occasionally marred by loud music and wait times during busy hours. Don’t forget to book before.
While the food presentation and taste are commendable, it is a bit pricey (around €80-100 per person). But worth a visit for a distinct Parisian experience!
