Lovely stay at this superb property. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The room was tiny with very little storage space which was quite disappointing for the price paid, no view and no room to move, but we survived. TV and all room facilities worked well. Gym room adequate. All in all a very nice stay despite the box-size room.

We recently stayed at the Castille Hotel in Paris for 5 days/4 nights. Excellent location. Excellent room. The service was outstanding - from the front desk, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping, room service. I cannot say enough about how great this staff was. They were also pleasant, smiling, helpful. The rooms were spacious, nice shower with great water pressure, drinks/snacks in refrig and counter - complimentary. We had a little balcony. Great location. I would stay at this hotel again! It was awesome. Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful! Keep up the great work!

An absolutely top-notch experience! I arrived at the hotel slightly earlier than the check-in time, and the gentleman at the front desk smoothly handled my check-in. He informed us that since it was our honeymoon, our room had been upgraded to a suite with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower—what a wonderful surprise! The room’s view was breathtaking, and the ambiance made our stay unforgettable. The staff at the bar downstairs were incredibly nice and offered timely assistance.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right next to Chanel’s flagship store and Saint-Honoré, making shopping extremely convenient. The only minor downside was that the breakfast menu remained the same for all three mornings of our stay, with no variety. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel!

Although we were a big family with 4 kids, including infants, this hotel located in the middle of local shopping and just near Tuileries Gardens did super good sharing all its resources with us.
Personnel was very attentive and we had fun staying there, in a location very good for walking.
We tried the restaurant within the hotel, and all enjoyed a lot of- both food and service.
Very rich breakfasts too.
The only thing is non-spacious rooms for quite some money, but this is quite natural for Paris in general, especially for locations neighboring with top-brands-boutiques!

Very friendly front desk staff and concierge
Capucine, the cat who "works" at the hotel
Good location
Good quality materials in the room
Very comfortable bed
Very high quality breakfast
The room in the lowest category is too small; I would choose a higher room category next time.

I really liked the location, it was quiet but still quite close to the main sightseeing places. Very clean, and quite spacious for Paris. There is a beautiful restaurant and a bar, we had some drinks in the bar, the service was great. Next time I am definitely staying there again. On the video and photos you can see some view from the hotel room windows, lobby and inner garden of the hotel.

The concierge, Harisch, made our stay!! He gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and got us into some lovely spots for dinners.
Our room was nice and very spacious. The bed, however, was very uncomfortable for what I’m used to (it was very very hard).
Riley Preston - 4 months ago
It all started the moment we arrived. Walking into the hotel, it’s beautifully adorned and sets the tone for a good stay, for a 4 star hotel. However upon check in is where the problems started. We booked on booking dot com and paid in advance, however the staff (front office manager) asked for my credit card for payment. I told her we’d already paid in full upfront and she snarly said “I don’t think so”…. I told her to double check and she said oh yeah… no apology for the remark. Strange how the front office manager could make such error.. had I not checked, I would have been charged again.
We made our way up to the room… an hour later I had a call saying that my AMEX card was in the lobby as the staff didn’t return it to me. They didn’t bring it to the room or apologise, so I made my way down to collect it.
The entire aura and lack of manners from the staff is disappointing. Not one smile, not an apology.
The next day, the shower gel was not replenished, despite us using it all. The amenities are not up to standard for a 4 star hotel at a price of over 200€ per night. After the second night, still no replies of shower gel so I complained to the front office. Again, no apology, the staff just scrabbled to find a spare small bottle of shower gel in the drawer at front office. Besides this, there are no cotton buds or any other basic amenities you’d expect, no kettle, no tea or coffee, no water. I have had better amenities in 2 star hotels. This hotel is 2 star parading as 4 star just because they have a restaurant onsite and a concierge service.
Upon checkout we were asked how many rooms, and how many adults in the room.. strange questions. No thank you for the stay or any form of sincerity.
Location is fantastic and the lobby and restaurant are beautiful. Complete let down from the staff (apart from bellboy who is friendly).
My advice to management: stop being so cheap and greedy. Provide proper amenities that reflect the level and cost of the hotel. Train your staff or hire people that actually want to be in hospitality.
Also, bed sheets and carpet have stains and holes. Not acceptable.

Perfect hotel. Perfect and friendly location, feeling of security in the hotel, nice staff who answered all requests, delicious breakfast, clean and beautiful rooms. Highly recommended my experience in Paris thanks to the hotel and I wanted to thank Charles Part, one of the owners, for the good service.

A Saturday night in Paris and the 5-course tasting menu for two with a bottle of wine. French fine dining at its best with all the classical touches - a good excuse to dress up and drink fancy wine. Remembered for dishes I don’t normally enjoy but loved. Masterful use of mushrooms, beetroot and asparagus. Perfectly cooked mains, craft and technique everywhere. The ambiance was a little quieter and the service a little colder than we are used to.

I had the five-course with wine paring. The sommelier’s selection of the food and wine pairing was deliberated. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and flavourful. The asparagus was my favorite! Nice combination with ice cream.

We were transported into the old world luxury.
Delicious food but slightly bland for my Asian palette. Our waitress,Savannah took care of us really well and made us feel like family.
Be prepared to be pampered there for 5 hours if you select the 7 courses with wine pairing.
Ling Tsang - a year ago
I would need to give it 4.1 star.
We did have the cheaper menu at 150 euro if you are less than 35 years old with champagne and 2 wines.
For the price we had a great dinner.
The place has so much history and you can feel it, the service is very good quality overall, finished plates where sometimes left on the table along with crumbs till the main waiter took them off.
The food was very nice and tasted good overall especially for this unique menu, however I was expecting more from 1 Michelin star.
The small hors d’œuvres where very creative and we felt impressed and where very taken away. Especially with the artichoke chips, very creative with new thecniques never seen before
Then the bun with smoked cream and different textures of tomato was creative, however just boring, you get a bun then home made bread, it didn’t feel special.
We followed with Tuna and beet sorbet, it was a great palette cleaner, the taste was great and our daughter loved it. However there wasn’t a wow factor, that we can normally find for such amazing product.
Next was the scallop, the taste was good and plating was fun, the scallop éclaté was a new experience however the flavours where okay together but yet again missing harmony, the brown sauce tasted good but didn’t look appealing with the plate, the purée was chunky I guess the chef wanted it that way but I felt it didn’t add anything a purée more smooth would have been better.
The chicken cooked sous vide with a caramlized top with an excellent crumble a creative sabayon served on the side was fun, the fennel was nice but a bit boring, could have been worked in more detail then randomly they came with chicken legs and a roasted chicken consumé this was a very fun touch and we appreciated it very much.
The green apple and celery was great and refreshing , the powder all over the bowl was playful and creative.
The chocolate dessert and calamansi was missing a bit of balance and I didn’t feel like they went together, however this is very personal. Very hard work went into the dish and was very beautiful.
Mignardises were beautiful and overall good.
The champagne was excellent quality and very good, white wine was just okay, their red wine was really excellent! Overall very happy with the pairing.
The service and staff where very good, they brought out plates at the same took the time to serve every plate at the same time, there was a nice flow. However the feel was very robotic and was missing a friendly feel.
Only after asking did we find out the history of the building and the restaurant Lucas Carton, we would have loved a bit more of the story behind this beautiful restaurant and have a more
Human relationship with the staff.
However the service was excellent and well executed. The cutlery and the fineness of the architecture was amazing! Another table got a cheese plate and the cheese cart looked amazing. All these details do explain the Michelin star. Maybe my expectations where very elevated with that title and we did have the cheaper menu.
However I was just missing some wow factors and a sense of warmth that I was expecting in a Michelin start restaurant.
But for the price we paid it was a very nice experience we really appreciated going.

Very well located in Madeleine area, this Michelin star restaurant offers one of the best gastronomic experience in Paris! As one of the oldest restaurant of the city, Lucas Carton has a beautiful interior. The food is simply delicious with the chef offering some creative takes on French dishes and the selection of wine is very comprehensive. The service is welcoming and very nice too! It's definitely one of my favorite restaurant so far 👌👍😊

The food was so delicious here. It’s predominately Italian food but done very well. The pizzas are huge and pasta’s just the right serving.
The restarting is set in a small quiet courtyard which made it perfect for families with children as they could run around opposite the restarting without risk of being run over by a vehicle or scooter.
The outdoor area is full of majority smokers however tables are far enough apart to not impact you too greatly if you don’t like it.

The best truffle pizza I’ve had since I came to Paris you should to try it , great service and nice atmosphere
dina Mohammed - 4 months ago
This has become one of our go-to restaurants in Paris. It's very close to our hotel and the food is consistently good. All the pizzas easily feed a person (usually with a slice or two left over) and some are quite large (they actually bring them out on 2 plates because 1 isn't big enough).
My pizza was one of the large ones. The crust was thin and the edges were slightly more done, which I prefer. They were also able to accommodate my dietary prefernces by leaving off the cheese as I don't eat dairy.
The service is really good, as well. We have one server that we love because she's so helpful and attentive, but we've never had bad service.
I recommend making a reservation, as they are always quite busy. And while they may be able to accommodate you without a reservation, you will likely be subjected to a deep sigh and what I like to call the Paris "I can't believe you didn't make a reservation" eye roll. 😁
I highly recommend brecommend this restaurant for pizza.

This restaurants benefits from one the unique and remarkably beautiful spots in Paris that is both authentic and clean!!
So you can inagine how sitting outside, being lucky to have the sun and then eating, drinking saomething here can be pleasant here!!!
The artchitecture in this little square and buildings around it is amazing!
So, i have given four stars as one is just for the vibe and unique view here. Then not all for the food experience!!
In general the food was quite ok, we forgot to take pictures of all foods and one deessert we shared but all was quite OK! Just OK, ok?!
From such Italian restaurant I expected more when I ordered veal milanese! Bdut for me it was not a "wow" kind of experiene neither the serving nor the taste.

A modern-style refined Italian restaurant, this establishment has a high class atmosphere and on the quality of the cuisine it provides it certainly delivers. The Frettuccine al Pesto Genovese is a stand out for me, and the Tiramisu I shared was absolutely delicious. If you're staying around the Palais Garnier this is a dining experience I wholeheartedly recommend.

We stopped by for an early dinner after reading the great reviews. It was a bonne trouvaille - great find. We started with the bone marrow - os à moëlle - and had the pork cheeks - joues de pork confites - for our entree. Everything was so savory and tender. And for dessert, we had to have the flan, which is their specialty. I’m not a huge fan of flan, in general, because I’m not a fan of the solid form but this flan is creamy in a parfait dish. It was absolutely incredible - incroyable. I will definitely return when I’m in Paris again.

One of the best dinners I had in a while! Fantastic classic French food with a very cool and inviting atmosphere. We were very lucky to get a table without reservation, but I recommend making one in advance. Really good service, friendly and fast. Escargot and Flan were the top hits for me, although everything we got was very good.

We’ve dined here multiple times and it’s consistently excellent. Located in a convenient part of Paris, it’s ideal for a relaxed dinner with great food and no fuss.
The menu ranges from classic bistro dishes to full truffle-focused plates. Personal favourites include the veal Milanese (available with summer truffle spread and a perfectly cooked egg) and the black truffle fettuccine. Portions are generous, and the quality of ingredients really shines.
If you're curious, the evening tasting menu is a great introduction to their signature dishes — scrambled eggs with truffle, fettuccine, truffle Brie, and more. It’s a solid option for two people.
We paid €229 for dinner for two (three courses and a bottle of wine, before tip) — very fair for the quality and experience. Service has always been polite and efficient.
Not a flashy or over-the-top place, but reliably delicious. We always look forward to coming back.

Fancy restaurant that won’t break the bank. So yummy! We started with a truffle sauce on bread, then truffle oil and bread. Then we had a variety of truffled cheeses that was the best we’ve had. We then got a truffled steak with truffle fries and truffle gnocchi which were both amazing. We bought some truffle cream sauce to take home. Service was good and spoke English.

We love Indian food and have tried six or seven different places in Paris over the last decade. Mahatma was an excellent choice when looking for a nice lunch near our hotel. We enjoyed lamb samosa, cachumber salad, grilled vegetables, garlic naan, chicken korma, and tandoori tikka lamb chops. We shared a bottle of Graves Bordeaux that was great with the food, and I had a nice Mango Lassi.
The staff were courteous and attentive.
We sat outdoors under the shade canopy and it was comfortable.
This was not fine dining, but the experience met all of our expectations completely.

First time at Mahatma and it definitely was an amazing experience! Dishes are delicious and very nicely presented, staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is super cozy and stylish. Ideal for those looking for a lunch or dinner of outstanding quality just steps away from Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Perfect for cocktail lovers too. 10/10, highly recommended!

Absolutely unbelievable food. The butter chicken was the best I've ever had in my life, and everyone else loved their meals too. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming; we just spent two weeks touring France and this restaurant has the nicest staff of anywhere we've been. This place was an absolute joy to eat at. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

The dining experience was truly on another level. The menu was thoughtfully designed, and every dish had a little surprise—whether it was in the way the food was cooked, the presentation, or a creative twist on flavor. The food was amazing: bold in flavor yet restrained, and perfectly balanced in both taste and texture.
The service was attentive and elegant, with a pace that felt just right. The restaurant’s ambiance is modern, with a cohesive black theme that runs throughout the space.
Highly recommended—it was an unforgettable and exceptional gastronomic experience in Paris.

Excellent service, cozy atmosphere just a few tables. Presentation of the dishes is definitely at a Michelin Star level. The taste of the dishes was good, but from the whole menu just 1 really stood out for me, asparagus with coal, the rest were just as expected but without surprising my taste buds. Also the butter with vegetable coal was excellent! Fixed menu 200€, glass of champagne 30€. Overall very pleasant experience.
