Tiny rooms, running toilets, poor water pressure, water temperature changes without warning, leaking AC pipes, NOISY ROOMS, worn furniture, cheap flooring, water damaged buffet in room, hard mattress, terrible pillows. It’s too bad that the great, well trained staff had to deal with these room issues. The physical decay of the hotel is being covered with cheap cosmetic fixes. The food is not good. No seasoning. Overpriced. Do not stay here.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris near many attractions and great shopping! You can walk to anything. At checkin, was told my room wasn't ready and we could pay $50 euros a day to upgrade. Seemed like a bait and switch. This was our first time in Europe. Then we are given our room key on the first floor and pointed in a direction. We thought the first floor was on the ground level but the first floor is up one level. Lesson learned! The two gray cats are so soft and welcoming but the front concierge is not. The daily breakfast buffet is a highlight! Great selections and delicious food!! Our driver to the airport was furious when the bellhop did not help load our luggage in to the vehicle to return to the airport. Not the service we expected! Train your employees to be better and you will have a 5-star hotel.

The service here is impeccable! 5 star 🌟 with a personal touch. Their restaurant is also top class when compared to other restaurants in the area. Receptionists were better than Disney staff in their prime 😁. It's an older hotel.... as old as everything else in this area, with easy, safe walking access to all the major attractions. Eiffel Tower, Lourve Museum, Opera, Palace Vendome, Pont Alexander III Bridge, and many, many more top must see sites.

I came to Paris for my first time recently, and stayed at the Hotel Bedford. It was a very last minute booking and i am glad i made the decision to choose this hotel. While our stay was wonderful, i came here to brag about the concierge, Jeff. I first got Jeff on the phone when i called about booking the car service they provide. Jeff made this request happen within 2 hours. He went above and beyond with any question or request i provided, and never seemed annoyed by my presence. Jeff always had a smile on his face and always greeted us every morning and night when we would come and go through the lobby. He always took the time to ask how our day was and give recommendations on where we should go for dinner. Jeff made a lasting impression on our stay in Paris and i am most appreciative of that. I hope Jeff gets some sort of recognition by his management team because he truly is a great person and seems to enjoy what he does. Our stay would not have been what it was without Jeff.

In my past employment, I frequently chose the Hôtel Bedford for my work-related stays in Paris. I believed it would be delightful to revisit the same boutique hotel when traveling to Paris with my family, primarily because of the following reasons: the hotel's convenient proximity to various Parisian attractions, the friendly and accommodating staff who consistently went the extra mile to provide assistance, with a special acknowledgment to Ludwig!

The hotel is very well located and nice, rooms are spacious, we had the deluxe room on the 7th floor with amazing views on the balconies. All the staff is lovely, helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back :)

We were transported into the old world luxury. Delicious food but slightly bland for my Asian palette. Our waitress,Savannah took care of us really well and made us feel like family. Be prepared to be pampered there for 5 hours if you select the 7 courses with wine pairing.

I would need to give it 4.1 star. We did have the cheaper menu at 150 euro if you are less than 35 years old with champagne and 2 wines. For the price we had a great dinner. The place has so much history and you can feel it, the service is very good quality overall, finished plates where sometimes left on the table along with crumbs till the main waiter took them off. The food was very nice and tasted good overall especially for this unique menu, however I was expecting more from 1 Michelin star. The small hors d’œuvres where very creative and we felt impressed and where very taken away. Especially with the artichoke chips, very creative with new thecniques never seen before Then the bun with smoked cream and different textures of tomato was creative, however just boring, you get a bun then home made bread, it didn’t feel special. We followed with Tuna and beet sorbet, it was a great palette cleaner, the taste was great and our daughter loved it. However there wasn’t a wow factor, that we can normally find for such amazing product. Next was the scallop, the taste was good and plating was fun, the scallop éclaté was a new experience however the flavours where okay together but yet again missing harmony, the brown sauce tasted good but didn’t look appealing with the plate, the purée was chunky I guess the chef wanted it that way but I felt it didn’t add anything a purée more smooth would have been better. The chicken cooked sous vide with a caramlized top with an excellent crumble a creative sabayon served on the side was fun, the fennel was nice but a bit boring, could have been worked in more detail then randomly they came with chicken legs and a roasted chicken consumé this was a very fun touch and we appreciated it very much. The green apple and celery was great and refreshing , the powder all over the bowl was playful and creative. The chocolate dessert and calamansi was missing a bit of balance and I didn’t feel like they went together, however this is very personal. Very hard work went into the dish and was very beautiful. Mignardises were beautiful and overall good. The champagne was excellent quality and very good, white wine was just okay, their red wine was really excellent! Overall very happy with the pairing. The service and staff where very good, they brought out plates at the same took the time to serve every plate at the same time, there was a nice flow. However the feel was very robotic and was missing a friendly feel. Only after asking did we find out the history of the building and the restaurant Lucas Carton, we would have loved a bit more of the story behind this beautiful restaurant and have a more Human relationship with the staff. However the service was excellent and well executed. The cutlery and the fineness of the architecture was amazing! Another table got a cheese plate and the cheese cart looked amazing. All these details do explain the Michelin star. Maybe my expectations where very elevated with that title and we did have the cheaper menu. However I was just missing some wow factors and a sense of warmth that I was expecting in a Michelin start restaurant. But for the price we paid it was a very nice experience we really appreciated going.

Very well located in Madeleine area, this Michelin star restaurant offers one of the best gastronomic experience in Paris! As one of the oldest restaurant of the city, Lucas Carton has a beautiful interior. The food is simply delicious with the chef offering some creative takes on French dishes and the selection of wine is very comprehensive. The service is welcoming and very nice too! It's definitely one of my favorite restaurant so far 👌👍😊

Excellent food. We ordered the a la carte menu. The dishes were perfectly made. We ordered the scallops and lobster. It was amazing. I also ordered the potato pie as starter which I truly enjoyed. The desserts - especially the chocolate one - that's probably one of the most memorable chocolate desserts I've had in a while. The perfect combination. Highly recommend. It wasn't very busy but service was quite slow. It looked like the staff were still in training so most of what we asked about the dishes, they had to keep going back to the kitchen to ask.

Amazing service. All of our waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The prices are high, but if you can afford them it is worth it. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We had the seven course tasting menu with the wine pairings and I have no complaints to make.

What a find in Paris. Been here twice and it is fantastic. Delicious pizza served (Francesco) on two plates since one is not enough. Perfect Rose and even a delicious Schnitzel, escalope milanase. Service friendly and direct. Sidenote; if you don't have reservations You won't be allowed to sit at the windows (lol), short "NO" is a factual information that you don't qualify. Everything else falls im line to have a best evening, French, fun, excellent kitchen and the culinary adventure you might want

The food was so delicious here. It’s predominately Italian food but done very well. The pizzas are huge and pasta’s just the right serving. The restarting is set in a small quiet courtyard which made it perfect for families with children as they could run around opposite the restarting without risk of being run over by a vehicle or scooter. The outdoor area is full of majority smokers however tables are far enough apart to not impact you too greatly if you don’t like it.

A modern-style refined Italian restaurant, this establishment has a high class atmosphere and on the quality of the cuisine it provides it certainly delivers. The Frettuccine al Pesto Genovese is a stand out for me, and the Tiramisu I shared was absolutely delicious. If you're staying around the Palais Garnier this is a dining experience I wholeheartedly recommend.

This has become one of our go-to restaurants in Paris. It's very close to our hotel and the food is consistently good. All the pizzas easily feed a person (usually with a slice or two left over) and some are quite large (they actually bring them out on 2 plates because 1 isn't big enough). My pizza was one of the large ones. The crust was thin and the edges were slightly more done, which I prefer. They were also able to accommodate my dietary prefernces by leaving off the cheese as I don't eat dairy. The service is really good, as well. We have one server that we love because she's so helpful and attentive, but we've never had bad service. I recommend making a reservation, as they are always quite busy. And while they may be able to accommodate you without a reservation, you will likely be subjected to a deep sigh and what I like to call the Paris "I can't believe you didn't make a reservation" eye roll. 😁 I highly recommend brecommend this restaurant for pizza.

This restaurants benefits from one the unique and remarkably beautiful spots in Paris that is both authentic and clean!! So you can inagine how sitting outside, being lucky to have the sun and then eating, drinking saomething here can be pleasant here!!! The artchitecture in this little square and buildings around it is amazing! So, i have given four stars as one is just for the vibe and unique view here. Then not all for the food experience!! In general the food was quite ok, we forgot to take pictures of all foods and one deessert we shared but all was quite OK! Just OK, ok?! From such Italian restaurant I expected more when I ordered veal milanese! Bdut for me it was not a "wow" kind of experiene neither the serving nor the taste.

One of the best dinners I had in a while! Fantastic classic French food with a very cool and inviting atmosphere. We were very lucky to get a table without reservation, but I recommend making one in advance. Really good service, friendly and fast. Escargot and Flan were the top hits for me, although everything we got was very good.

I went there after I did a reservation, and Celine the host was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered stake with cream potatoes, and I have requested it to be medium rare, unfortunately, it came almost well done. The place is cosy and warm. Exactly what you need in winter. It was very crowded you have to make a reservation before you come.

We found this place on Google Maps and we were very pleased! The restaurant is not fancy but the food is superb! We had two starters and two second courses (we really enjoyed the pork cheeks and sausage with lentils) and had French beers for drink. The staff is friendly and the prices are low. If we ever go back to Paris we will definitely come back there for sure!

My recent visit to La Maison de la Truffle in Paris left me with mixed feelings. As it was my birthday, my partner and I decided to try our luck without a reservation on a Friday evening. Surprisingly, due to a last-minute cancellation, we were able to secure a table for two. However, the initial excitement quickly faded as we encountered several disappointments throughout the evening. Despite our polite request, the wobbly table remained unaddressed by the servers, detracting from the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the timing of our order was notably delayed, with our neighbors being seated and served before us, despite arriving later. This discrepancy left us feeling overlooked and undervalued as patrons, with our order being taken a frustrating 25 minutes after we were seated. The veal Milanese, a dish I had eagerly anticipated, turned out to be a letdown. Despite the addition of cheese and black truffle, the flavor fell flat, and the texture was disappointingly soggy. It lacked the boldness and finesse I had expected from such a renowned establishment. On the other hand, my partner’s choice, the pizzeria with truffle flavor, fared better and was the saving grace of our meal. The subtle hints of truffle infused into the pizza elevated its taste, earning it praise amidst the disappointment. While I commend La Maison de la Truffle for its elegant ambiance and commitment to fine dining standards, the overall dining experience fell short of my expectations. Despite the intriguing menu offerings, the subpar execution and inconsistencies in service left me disheartened. Having experienced many other exceptional truffle dishes at various establishments throughout Paris, I couldn’t help but feel that La Maison de la Truffle failed to deliver on its promise of culinary excellence. Despite the allure of returning to explore their menu further, I am hesitant to revisit La Maison de la Truffle given the disappointing experience. Also they charged €9 for a bottle of sparkling water that was brought to us almost 30mins after requesting for it - not sure how I felt About that either. And please do take a moment to see how chewy the bread was as well.

This unique place makes excellent dishes with truffles. However, I would like to give a lot of credit to a young waitress that did all she can for having a great meal. We love Indian food and have tried six or seven different places in Paris over the last decade. Mahatma was an excellent choice when looking for a nice lunch near our hotel. We enjoyed lamb samosa, cachumber salad, grilled vegetables, garlic naan, chicken korma, and tandoori tikka lamb chops. We shared a bottle of Graves Bordeaux that was great with the food, and I had a nice Mango Lassi. The staff were courteous and attentive. We sat outdoors under the shade canopy and it was comfortable. This was not fine dining, but the experience met all of our expectations completely.

First time at Mahatma and it definitely was an amazing experience! Dishes are delicious and very nicely presented, staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is super cozy and stylish. Ideal for those looking for a lunch or dinner of outstanding quality just steps away from Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Perfect for cocktail lovers too. 10/10, highly recommended!

Absolutely unbelievable food. The butter chicken was the best I've ever had in my life, and everyone else loved their meals too. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming; we just spent two weeks touring France and this restaurant has the nicest staff of anywhere we've been. This place was an absolute joy to eat at. I would give it more than five stars if I could.
