5 Star Rating Favourite hotel in Paris. Incredible service from start to finish. Well appointed rooms - very comfortable - beds are so comfortable it’s hard to wake up each day! Restaurants are great - Epicure is always a winner and well worth the hype. Also tried 114 which was more informal but the food was interesting and well presented. Breakfast is definitely a highlight - sets you up for a great start to the day - highly recommend

5 Star Rating Our recent stay at La Bristol in Paris was nothing short of spectacular, a testament to luxury and impeccable service. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what was to be an unforgettable experience. The concierge team, led by the remarkable Jimmy, Fabian, Sarah, and Marie, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Their recommendations and arrangements for city experiences were perfect, reflecting their deep knowledge of Paris and a genuine desire to cater to our interests and needs.A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the spa services, where I received the best massage of my life, courtesy of Mathias. His expertise and attention to detail left me feeling rejuvenated and utterly relaxed, a testament to the spa's commitment to excellence.Breakfast at Epicure became our cherished morning ritual, offering a delightful start to our day with its exquisite selection and charming ambiance. Similarly, our dinners at Café Antonia were consistently delicious, featuring a menu of beautifully prepared dishes in a setting that’s both elegant and welcoming. We must give a special mention to our favorite server, Aurelie, whose attentiveness and friendliness made our dining experiences truly memorable. Her ability to anticipate our needs and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere was commendable. Our room was a haven of luxury and comfort, with gorgeous decor and a view that captivated our hearts. The maid service was impeccable, ensuring our space was always clean and inviting, complete with fresh water and beautiful flowers that added a special touch to our stay.In summary, La Bristol in Paris exceeded our expectations at every turn, providing a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. It’s a jewel in the heart of Paris, and we eagerly anticipate our return to what has become our home away from home. PS. Did I mention that Julia Roberts also stays here!!

5 Star Rating We received the Amex upgrade, a double upgrade as it turns out, and enjoyed the breakfast daily - it was excellent. The room was large including the bathroom and the shower was wonderful. The pillows and towels were exquisite. We walked all over Paris from this home base and found excellent restaurants in the area as well. The nightly gifts are a nice touch, especially the chocolate edible decoration. The service is what made our experience shine, though. From the front desk, to the restaurant staff, the doormen and concierge staff were constantly helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

2 Star Rating Beautiful shop, breathtaking presentation of the food, exciting experiments both on the sweet and savoury spectrum. We came here on a Monday morning to enjoy a good quality breakfast. The reason why I am giving only two stars is because everything that happened after we passed our order was a disappointment. We sat down outside, as it was a gorgeous autumn morning. We received our teas in two paper cups destined for espressos and not for teas! Our food arrived in plastic containers and we were given plastic cutlery. What a shock! You think you are in one of Paris' fanciest teahouses, and you are obliged to use disposable materials... We asked for normal cutlery and a proper tea-pot and were refused because we were sitting outside. I wonder if they are afraid that you'll run away with their things or what... It took several attempts on our side to have at least a proper amount of water with the tea. I would have expected a place like this to take more pride in how they serve their teas and their amazing food. Paper espresso mugs that contain just enough water to make the tea leaves wet (because apparently the personnel is not trained on how much tea should go in one of those white bags) is not at all acceptable in my opinion. What a pity, so incoherent with the impression the entire shop conveys... I won't even mention the fact that I wasn't given a small plate/container to put my teabag on, so I had to put it on the table where it was leaking all over the place... Attention to details even outside would be welcome!

5 Star Rating Quickly served with a lovely menu that changes daily. It tasted fresh even though it was warmed up to serve. Nice size desserts to go with it and it all tastes great! Only downside I would say is that it's a shame they use so much disposable plastic, I would think real cutlery and more sustainable dishes would be a big improvement!

2 Star Rating Among all the restaurants available on this street, I gave Epicure a chance. What a regret... I have never eaten something so bland, I was tempted by the superb description of the dish but it was infamous, slightly elaborate chicken food. There was an aftertaste in the mouth, the uncooked seeds, it was annoying with each bite, hence my words. I had two other people test the dish who confirmed my disgust, the dish ended up in the trash.. Nevertheless, the service is great, dynamic team and ready-made dishes available. I still think that you offer good dishes but the one I chose absolutely deserves to be reworked.

5 Star Rating I liked everything. The super warm bosses. The mysterious waitress who smiles discreetly like Mona Lisa. The service where we let you digest a little between two dishes instead of sending everything out as quickly as possible to free up space. The korozott was divine. This is my madeleine from Proust le korozott. I felt like I was going back to my childhood. The same korozott that my grandmother made (minus the decorative fillet, I won't spoil the composition for you, it was a great marriage of flavors, a very unexpected marriage). The porkolt ditto. We could really taste the taste of Paprika which we only find in Hungary (I despair of finding one like that in France or on the internet). I wasn't hungry for dessert anymore, but when I saw the next table, obviously I changed my mind! Gingerbread caneloni with lemon cream. Divine. And the icing on the cake is they have illy coffee (I hate Richard coffee). In short, I'm going to be one of the regulars :) I recommend you try this restaurant. I forgot... I also tasted the excellent plate of homemade smoked salmon, langoustines, homemade tarama, homemade blinis. The salmon was meltingly tender...yum! Supporting photos of empty plates ;)

2 Star Rating Epicure, a three-star Michelin restaurant in Paris, left me with mixed feelings during my recent visit. While the restaurant boasts an impressive reputation, my experience fell short of expectations. The ambiance of the hotel did not resonate with my personal preferences, as it lacked the charm and appeal I've found in other fine dining establishments. The overall vibe was not to my liking, and it did not enhance the dining experience as I had hoped. The waitstaff's behavior was another aspect that left me uneasy. I observed them checking on my friend each time she left a portion unfinished, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable since they kept asking why she did not finish it. This detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal and left a negative impression. Also, one staff was eavesdropping with our conversation and started to join the conversation. They also gave me a juice even though i did not ask for it. Despite Epicure's claim of being the best restaurant in Paris, I found the dishes to be somewhat repetitive. Having experienced other Michelin-starred establishments that offered more innovative and diverse menus, the culinary offerings at Epicure did not stand out. In conclusion, while Epicure holds a prestigious Michelin status, my personal experience was disappointing. The ambiance, service, and repetitive nature of the dishes did not align with my expectations, making it difficult to justify the high regard it receives. For those seeking a truly exceptional dining experience in Paris, I would recommend exploring other renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in the city.

5 Star Rating Fine dining can sometimes feel stuffy, but Epicure is anything but. On top of incredible service that felt like a well-rehearsed symphony, the flavors were out of this world and exceeded our expectations, which were very high, given their 3 Michelin star status. The staff was extremely professional, but also acted with a level of playfulness that made the experience incredibly fun and had us laughing throughout. We had asked to add on a dessert to the tasting menu, and I still received a custom printed, dated menu as a souvenir that included the changes we asked for--a very nice touch. At one point my partner was asked how he liked a portion of his meal, and when he said anything less than "amazing," they took it as a personal challenge to bring him something else, watched him try it, and cheered when he confirmed it was incredible. It was clear they stood behind their work and knew that they could deliver an amazing experience for every guest--which they did.

5 Star Rating Amazing dining experience, deserves more than 3 Michelin stars! The food was all delightful, a bit rich for my taste, the next time I eat lunch here I will skip breakfast! The atmosphere was undoubtedly formal, but the servers were all charming and friendly, making me feel very relaxed and welcome. 10/10 experience, will definitely be going again.

5 Star Rating Extremely delicious and very beautifully presented food. Theatrical in the classic French style - with silver dish covers lifted at the same time behind each diner. The interior decor was a little dated, but the superb service couldn’t be faulted. The desserts were especially good looking - for the vegans there is a splendid imitation lemon made from meringue and sorbet, although it costs over 200 euros.

5 Star Rating My husband and I were both very pleased with the taste of the food. We each tried an appetizer, a main, and a dessert which I'd describe as "elevated Corsican food". We also shared a nice Corsican beer, which is unusual to find in Paris. Everything was served in a timely manner, in good quantity, and well plated. The staff was attentive and kind. And they interacted with us both in French (native) and in English (professional working proficiency), which was very helpful.

2 Star Rating I am really apologetic about leaving this review, but it is an honest one. I dined here in November and opted for their 10 year anniversary menu degustation. In terms of positives, the service from beginning to end was extraordinary and fitting of their Michelin star. I was very impressed by the attitude of the host and servers throughout my experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated as well, with a gorgeous spiral staircase and view of the kitchen. Unfortunately, this was where the negatives began. I sincerely did not enjoy the experience. I walked in with reasonable expectations but nearly every dish was overly salted and not reflective of the quality I expected. I notified my server and they seemed quite apologetic; they had noted that they informed the kitchen and my subsequent courses would reflect my feedback. However, the remainder of my courses were similarly oversalted. It was such a shame, because many courses such as the scrambled eggs with lobster had such potential. The overuse of foie gras in multiple courses resulted in the overall experience to be overbearing-- the flavours were so heavy and overdone. For almost all dishes, there was such lack of depth in flavour because every course seemed to be one-dimensional and so heavily focused on heavy, savory elements with nothing to cut through them. This was an ongoing theme I felt throughout the entire gastronomic experience. The restaurant also deviated from the anniversary menu that I selected, for reasons unbeknownst to me. The pigeon and foie gras in a cereal crust was almost completely inedible to me, to the point where I was nauseous. Out of everything I ate that night, I will comment that the bread service was absolutely out of this world and spectacular. The butter was some of the best I've ever had, in Paris or anywhere else. The dessert was also light and fresh, beautifully presented, and was a welcome change from the previous courses. Strangely enough, I also felt multiple times throughout the night that one or two chefs in the kitchen kept staring up at me for an extended period of time for unknown reasons, as I was seated in full view of the kitchen. This occurred after I notified the server that the dishes were overly salted. I am not sure if they thought I was a reviewer but these were just my genuine feelings about their menu degustation. As a disclaimer, all thoughts about the experience consider the price of the experience to determine if it was "worth it" or not. Personally, I would skip and look elsewhere. Every corner of Paris is filled with wonderful gastronomic offerings.

5 Star Rating This was the BEST dinner we had in Paris. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the service was outstanding. Philippe the chef/sommelier/owner was there over looking all the details. The people dining there appeared to be locals, another testament to the quality of the place. We selected the set menu with wine pairings. He asked us what our like and dislikes were in order for select the dinner. Every selection he made for us was like he read our minds. The wine pairings were exceptional, he even gave us a second pour of one of our favorites. As good as dinner was, the highlight of the evening was when he gave us a personal tour of his wine cellar located under the restaurant. Wow, after many years of collecting, he had quite a cellar. Many coming with stories he shared with us. Thank you Philippe for a memorable evening in Paris

5 Star Rating I came here with my mother a few weeks ago whilst we were visiting Paris. It was by far the best Italian food we have ever ate, the seafood pasta, champagne all perfect and the atmosphere, service was 10/10, we highly recommend and would love to come again when we are next in Paris, Thank you so much❤️

5 Star Rating The younger sister of the rive gauche older sibling, this gem hides in plain sight. Although the place was literally full we were kindly greeted and seated at a window table (without prior reservation). Our waiter was prompt and eloquent and the food was just in the spot. The enflamed souffle was a pleasant surprise, so simple and so good. Will definitely return the next time we are in Paris.

5 Star Rating I was looking for a place with delicious ris de veau, and this place was it! The sweetbreads was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The sauce complemented the sweetbreads perfectly, with a hint of lemon. Dessert here is also good. I just wish they had duck with orange sauce here, then I would come more often! Relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. I will definitely go back.
